Scion of Kyuubi, Reloaded
Author: Redux (formerly: A Person Who Hunts idiots)
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.
Note: Why the “reloaded”? Well this story has been through hell. It's been banned twice, and for some reason I can't seem to keep it on a site for more than a month. I've really tried but for some reason it just keeps getting banned. (Probably because I attack idiotic reviewers… not that you shouldn't review. But realize I don't like to read a lot of useless reviews.)
So what's new in “reloaded”? A plot change for starters. The former was a lot like Akira and Elfen lied. This time it comes from my head, and entirely so. (Any similarities to anything other than Naruto is entirely coincidental) A lot more gore will be added in. If you read the first one, you might have been offended because limbs were flying off in about every chapter. This time… it's going to be MORE! Muwahahahaha. I'm thinking of striking the romance too, but that will be decided later… anyways, here it is.
Chapter 1, Wormboy
Naruto's heart was racing as he stared into the deep dark depths before him. He was just a confused six-year-old, with no relocation of how he got to where he is. He took a left turn? Or maybe he took a right turn? Hell, he wasn't sure if he was even conscious. It made more sense if he thought it was just a dream.
The soft grumbling sound that surrounded him churned up butterflies in his stomach. He was sure something was in there with him, but what he did not know. It could only be described as a creeping evil that made its way to his very throat, chocking him with invisible hands. That was the pressure he felt on himself at least. Some kind of ancient being was driving him mad, and ready to devour him when he panicked. If it knew what fate would foretell, there would be no chance Naruto would still be standing.
The very little boy that would have to live a life of intense loneliness would probably never grow up to reach adult hood. The little worm that was born cursed, and will live with the curse until the day where the villagers would sacrifice him. All of it to appease the gods that they believed cursed him with the “demon child”. The boy that will grow up to shake the very pillars of heaven that demons strive to destroy, he lives by a hair, but supported by the strongest demon of them all.
But that demon is less than cooperative…
“Your body,” a sudden fierce voice boomed.
Naruto snapped to attention the minute he heard the monstrous roar. Sweat rolled down the side of his head as he aimlessly examined the darkness around him. The sound he heard now was the clattering of his upper and lower jaws as he searched frantically trying to find the source of the voice. Humans will always fear what they can't see, thus is the way of minds. For such a young boy it was only natural. However that was just what the demon survived on. His suffering was pure euphoria to it. His fear, his anger, his frustration, and even the blood in his veins gave it life. It survived as a parasite would; feeding on the boy's every emotion.
“Your body belongs to me…”
The creepy pedophilic voice sent shivers up Naruto's spine. He had gotten a few of things like that before, but this was something a little different. It was much too deep and dark to be a human's voice. That of course to Naruto meant it was probably just a dream. Sighing in relief, Naruto came to the conclusion and proceeded to wake himself up by pricking his right arm.
But of course that didn't let him leave.
“Foolish boy,” the demon laughed, “you think you can get out of this like a mere dream?”
The fear suddenly rushed back to Naruto making his face pale. He was now a lifeless doll in a sea of fear, floating towards oblivion, which was exactly what the demon wanted. A jolt of pleasure went up the thousand-year-old demon's spine as it licked its lips. It might as well had an orgasm right then and there with the fun it was having.
“That is why I love to kill mortals, the anger… and the sorrow of loosing something else. But above all, your fear… It calls out to me, and soon your body will give birth to my new life.”
Naruto currently was not listening to him. He was squatting down and covering his ears. The hopelessness was starting to kick in as he felt tears running down the sides of his face. Everything about his tormenter was pure evil, and what power did he have to put a stop to it? His heart was racing, and his throat dry. Soon he was sure he would die, and for what? He hadn't done anything important in his life, and his dreams of becoming the best would be over. He didn't like the feeling of his life being wasted, and there was nothing he could do about it.
“Yes… continue morning, ooooh it's so joyous!” The demon bellowed with laughter as Naruto continued to cry. His eyes were becoming visible as they narrowed in on the little boy. His feline-slit pupil focused on the boy as the red energy began to leak from its body.
In Naruto's mind though, a war was being waged with himself. A part of him just wanted to give up and accept his fate. It was that cowardice that he realized that he should shed from his body and fight whatever is trying to kill him. That mentality was the greater part of his mind. The other was the one that was determined to fight. The demon posed a big threat to him, but there was no running. The only way to stop it from getting what it wanted was to fight it.
Naruto was torn between both sides. Unsure of what path to take, he clenched his body closer to its centre. The demon was still spitting out about how “his time was up” and that “his body was his”. Everything it did was pushing him closer to suicide, and it seemed like that was going to be the option he would take.
However, He remembered that he had indeed not done anything important yet. What good would it do to kill himself right here and now? No one was watching, and no one would care. He would be forgotten, and his name would never be passed on. He would leave no legacy, and his life would be for nothing. Naruto wanted to be remembered… and he would be damned if a demon would stop him here…
“and soon it will all be over, and you can lie in the dirt along with the rest of this world!”
Naruto must have heard something that moment, as the demon noted that his sad aura immediately flamed into anger. An amused look of shock played on the demon's face as Naruto lifted his head. Tears still fell down his cheeks, but his mouth and face were contorted with anger. The demon could not help but to notice the unflinching determination rooted in his eyes, and the nearly unbearable hatred deep within his heart. For a demon of his stature it didn't faze him in the least bit, but for such a human… such a young human. “When did you get all that hatred?”
“I see it everyday,” was Naruto's only reply. His voice was cracked because of his currently uncontrollable emotions, but the response was clear.
`Hatred… I have not felt that for six years… ever since I was imprisoned.'The feeling of nostalgia overwhelmed the demon. That battle played again in his mind, up until he was sealed by the Hokage. The human in front of him showed undeniable hatred towards him, as if he knew everything all of a sudden. `As if he knew that I was the reason that everyone hates him.'
Of course it was ludicrous. How could such a boy know that off of a bat? Naruto was nothing special, but he was special in one way. The demon was Naruto's punch, and Naruto was the demon's gateway. The demon lost its mind in thought at the current situation. Before, he was set on destroying the boy and killing himself. However, now a peculiar opportunity presented itself to the demon.
“Boy,” the demon spoke gently for the first time, “your name?”
Naruto's eyes flinched as he asked for his name. He wasn't sure if he should trust someone that said his body “belonged to him”, but he seemed almost … friendly with the last comment. The Demon's aura changed from angry and malicious, to completely unemotional. It made Naruto relieved, but unnerved. Something still didn't make sense, and he wanted answers, but it seemed being friendly would help.
“N-Naruto.”
The demon grumbled at Naruto's nervous response. “I am Kyuubi,” it spoke quickly, “you no doubt have questions… you will learn them once you learn who I am… if you can't figure it out by yourself then you don't deserve my help.”
Naruto gasped in shock as Kyuubi disappeared right in front of his eyes. He was once again alone in the great darkness, surrounded by solitude. His fear was beginning to come back, and he shut his eyes tightly, hoping to wake up in a warm bed. Not just any warm bed, he wanted to wake up in his warm bed and most definitely not a hospital bed. Saying it constantly back to him, he felt something happening, and opened his eyes…
* * *
Naruto startled himself as he dropped out of his bed. He still remembered the experience like it happened ten minutes ago… which it did. His breathing slowly became more rhythmic as he slowly staggered up from the floor to his feet. He was still shaking from the ordeal, and needed to clear his mind. It was still night, so it would be safe to wander the streets, not too many people were outside, so no villager would stop him.
Walking outside into the apartment corridor, Naruto locked his home up tightly and placed his key in his pocket. Thinking of nothing else, Naruto walked to the end of the hallway and down the stairs, eager to start walking the town. After all, he probably would not get much sleep for the rest of the night. He was fine with it and all, after all Kyuubi seemed to be ok, at least at the end of whatever he just experienced. Maybe he would have a … “guardian angel” or something protecting him now. Maybe all the abuse would stop! That would be nice, if only until he grew up.
He took a left turn down an alleyway he had never been down before, and still enjoyed the solitude that he had been so kindly granted. No one but himself was stirring, and that was just the way he liked it. That was until he turned to the right at the end of the alley. It was where he nearly bumped into two people, and both happened to be elite Uchiha police guards. Naruto cursed to himself as he stumbled to the ground, hoping the Uchihas would ignore him.
“What do we have here?”
The first of the two Uchihas was a pretty ordinary looking man. He was about twenty four years old with long black hair. He wore a black shirt with a small Uchiha fan over where his heart was. On his back Naruto imagined was a larger Uchiha fan, covering the entire span of his shoulders. He had long brown pants, and black sandals. His face had a smirk on it, and his eyes were focused straight on Naruto himself.
“I do believe it is the demon brat…”
The other one was an older man. Probably no more than thirty five though. Gray spiky hair jutted out towards the right in an aerial fashion. (Similar to Kakashi's) His eyes were partly closed and it looked like he would have trouble looking out towards enemies. His attire was more or less the same as the other Uchiha, but with a gray shirt, and blue jeans.
Naruto was starting to feel worried, because they were calling him the same as the villagers. But to make matters worse, these were shinobi, and more than skilled enough to do him in. Also there was no one around to save him, no other shinobi, which would have come to his aid. All of a sudden tears began to roll down his eyes without him knowing. If he did he would have cursed himself for showing tears to people like them.
The black haired Uchiha pulled out a kunai and twirled it in his hand. “Well, we might not be able to kill him, but we can ruff him up right?”
“Sure,” the other responded.
The black haired Uchiha took a step towards Naruto, sporting a crazed sort of smile on his face. As Naruto felt the hopelessness fill his heart, a sharp pain made its way to his mind. His fists clenched and his eyes closed tightly. He began to moan in pain as his brain felt like it was on fire. Some sort of dark fire spread through his body like wildfire. And a dark chuckling could be heard from the back of his mind. It made sense after that, Kyuubi was inside of him. The demon was helping him, but it didn't seem like that to Naruto. He felt betrayed by the demon that seemed to have befriended him.
“AAAAAAAAAAH!” Naruto cried in agony as he held his head and slammed it harshly into the ground. The Uchiha stopped his advance as he watched Naruto repeatedly slam his head into the ground. Quite sure that Naruto had gone insane, he began to back off to the safety of his gray-haired companion.
“W-What's going on?” the Uchiha asked out loud to nobody.
Naruto picked his head up from the ground as the fire spread through his body. His muscles ripped, his stomach churned and the acid inside boiled as he gritted his teeth at his enemy. His eyes settled on the black haired Uchiha, and instinct took over… and it wasn't pretty.
“AAAAAAAAAAH!” Naruto sat up on his knees and spread his arms. Spikes of red energy expanded in all directions. The sound of ripping flesh and a gagging sound filled the air as the damage was seen. And it seemed that the Uchiha was not well.
The gray-haired Uchiha's eyes widened and his mouth dropped in shock as he saw the spikes of energy sticking through his friend. His face looked like nothing anymore as three spikes ripped through his forehead, the right side of his nose, and straight center of his face. Now it was just a mess of brains, blood, and bone. His chest was tore to pieces, with his heart impaled on one of the spikes of energy. His waist was ripped off and now laid on the ground, blood spilling from it freely. And the last part of his spine was visible where the bottom of his body was violently ripped from the other half.
“Oh my god,” The other Uchiha cried in disgust as the spikes retracted back around Naruto's body. The impaled Uchiha's body fell to the ground in a bloody mess, not even recognizable to someone who has been his friend since forever. Turning his attention to the very hostile Naruto, he began to back away slowly. In his mind he was only hoping that he could get away alive.
Naruto of course was going to have none of that. He brought his right arm to the left side of his face and clenched his muscles. Red energy began to fluctuate around his arm and his demonic influenced persona was focused on one thing. And it was elimination of all enemies.
As soon as the Uchiha turned to run away, Naruto slashed the air horizontally. The result was a lateral wave of red energy that hit the Uchiha around his waist. The result was him stumbling and realizing that he was cut in half. He glanced backwards and saw Naruto vertically slice the air with his five fingers. His eyes widened as five lines formed across the upper half of his body. The last thing he saw was the grin on Naruto's face as his body slid apart in five neatly sliced pieces, falling to the ground in a mess of gore.
As all of this transcribed, Naruto was not registering any of it. The influence of the evil chakra was much too difficult for him to control. However as the power cleared and his vision became restored, the fact that there were two disemboweled and dismembered men in front of him made him… confused.
The rain clouds that had been massing the night began to release their load of life-giving rain. The blood began to slowly wash away in the night, and Naruto was frozen in the cold rain looking at the piles of meat he had made of the two night guardsmen. He had killed someone. Actually twice, and that was what everyone wanted to do to him. Did that make him a bad person? Did that make him no better than the ones that abused and wanted him dead?
In his mind it was so, and thus he screamed. The worm he was at that moment haunted his persona as he came to grasp what he had done. He had done a really horrible thing, and what's worse was that he had no control over it. The demon protected him, but the cost of that protection was his sanity. Without sanity what was a human? Naruto didn't want to find that out, but what was done, was done. His body felt numb as his voice cracked and disappeared throughout the night. Even the sound of the rain was drowning out his cries for help.
He fainted at that very instant… a mess of a boy, and he would never be a boy again. He couldn't possibly become a normal boy after he had taken someone else's life.
To be continued…
Note: I think that was an action packed and very emotionally deep ending for a chapter don't you think? I think this is also a good length for a chapter, so I'm going to keep it at that. Until the next update, later.
P.S. if you can't take the gore, STOP READING HERE! I don't want to hear reviews of that. I'm a writer who enjoys seeing characters die so if you can't stand to see it, go read something else. This is also not something for mega-perverts who want to see a sex scene. Get someone else to do it!
