Naruto sat boredly in his 6th period history class. He sighed and continued to lightly tap his pencil against his desk while looking out the window. After a few more minutes, the bell finally rang. Naruto jumped up out of his seat and rushed for the door.
“Hey, dobe!” Sasuke shouted as Naruto was about to run out the door.
Naruto stopped and sighed as he turned to look at the cocky looking raven hair.
“What do you want, teme?” Naruto asked as kids passed him out of the class till they were all alone in the class room.
“Just wondering if you wanted to hang out?” Sasuke asked, turning his head to the side in a snooty pose.
“Can you skate, Mr.I’m-so-great?” Naruto asked, giving Sasuke his full attention now.
“Why?” Sasuke asked, raising a slender brow in question as he looked back towards Naruto.
“Me and the gang hang out at the skate park after school” Naruto replied simply.
“Sure I guess I could try it” Sasuke sighed.
“Fine. Come to the Konoha Leaf Skate Park at 4, k?” Naruto grinned.
Sasuke smirked back as Naruto exited the class and headed home. After an hour, Sasuke arrived at the skate park Naruto had told him to meet him and the others at. As he walked in, Naruto ran up to him and grinned. Naruto had changed into tan khaki capris and a black shirt with a red flame on it along with some black converse. Sasuke only bothered to change into some black khaki capris and stayed in his navy blue T-shirt.
“Hey, Sasuke!” Naruto grinned as he ran up and stopped in front of Sasuke.
“Hey, dobe” Sasuke replied.
Sasuke and Naruto’s attention was pulled over to a huge ramp where a crowd was gathered and cheering for someone on the top.
“What’s going on?” Sasuke asked as he looked over to Naruto who looked excited.
“It’s the skate queen, Temari! She’s the number one skater in the whole park” Naruto replied in a happy tone.
“Sounds like she’s got some reputation” Sasuke said in a semi impressed tone.
“damn straight” said a cocky voice from behind Naruto and Sasuke.
“Hey, Kankuro!” Naruto greeted the new comer with a high five.
“If it isn’t my little fox” a girls voice came from in front of them.
“Hey, Temari” Naruto said as he looked at the girl.
She had dirty blonde hair in four spiky pigtails in the back and a red cap on. She wore a violet tank top and navy blue shorts along with red converse. She has peachy skin and hazy emerald green eyes. Behind her was Gaara who wore a dark brown T-shirt and black shorts and was wearing him usual bored yet serious expression.
‘Who is she calling ‘her’ little fox’ Sasuke growled in his mind. ‘Wait, why do I care? I must not be thinking straight’ he thought again and shook both thoughts out of his head.
“Hey, Sasuke, you okay?” Naruto asked the dazed off Sasuke.
“Uh, ya” Sasuke replied after a moment. “Just a weird thought.”
Naruto just shrugged and him, Kankuro and Temari started talking. Sasuke looked at Gaara for a moment and Gaara looked at him before both gave a small nod of acknowledgment then looked the other way.
“So you’re the new kid?” Temari finally asked Sasuke.
“Yeah. What of it?” Sasuke asked back. For some reason, he didn’t like Temari.
“Know any moves?” she asked, motioning towards the ramp behind her.
“I bet pretty boys never ridden a skate board in his life” Kankuro snickered.
Naruto and Temari gave off small chuckles at the comment and Sasuke glared at them for the blow to his ego.
“Maybe we should get him a tutor or something” Temari added.
“Or maybe he’s too good” Kankuro mocked.
Naruto stayed quiet as the two continued their attack on Sasuke who just continued to fume more and more.
“I have an idea” Temari said as she went behind Naruto and clinged to him from the back, peaking her head over his shoulder to smirk at Sasuke who fumed twice as much. “Why don’t you teach him, my little fox” she suggested in a some-what husky tone.
“Well uh….I guess I could” Naruto said in a nervous tone, a blush slightly tinting his cheeks as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.
“Perfect! Then you can bring him to the annual Leaf celebration next month!” Temari said in a happy gesture as she let go of Naruto and clapped her hands together, a smile gleaming towards Naruto.
“Aren’t you entering the band competition in the celebration, Naruto?” Gaara asked suddenly.
Naruto took a moment to think before nodding and grinning.
“Yup! And we’re gonna win!” Naruto shouted in joy.
“Don’t get too cocky. You’re against us” a voice said as two boys and a girl walked over to them.
Each wore camo clothes and had a silver keychain on their pants in the shape of a musical symbol. One of the boys had bandages over almost all of his face except his left eye and wore a baggy long sleeved gray shirt along with camo pants and the small keychain dangling from his pants side. The other boy had messy brown hair and a black bandana on with a tan T-shirt and camo pants on. And the girl had very long black hair tied at the very bottom with a small purple bow and a green tank top with camo pants as well.
“It’s the music clones” Naruto groaned as he looked at the three in displeasure.
“Watch it, Uzimaki” the girl warned as she took a step forward.
“No you watch it, Kin” Temari snarled back as she stepped in front of Naruto.
“Why don’t you go kiss your boy toy” Kin hissed back as she glared at Temari.
“Great, another fight between Sand and Sound” Kankuro sighed.
“What’s the matter, puppet boy? Cant keep up?” the bandaged boy snickered, earning a pissed off glare from Kankuro.
“Shove it, Dosu! Why don’t you and Zaku take Kin and get outta here. This isn’t band class where you’re little ‘gods’” Kankuro snapped back.
“Just gives us more time to practice on how to kick your asses” Zaku smirked as him and the other two turned and left.
“Stupid Sound group. I’ll show them! I’ll win the competition and show them!” Naruto shouted, throwing a fist in the air. “Believe it!”
