A/N: Well, here it is chapter 7! Anyway, I wanted to throw in a quick note: **There is a possible spolier in this chapter** Although I'm pretty sure almost everyone who might be reading this knows who Naruto's dad is, but if you don't and you don't wanna know, stop here. lmao. Stupid side note, I always in the back of my mind, I kinda knew who his dad was, I mean, it seemed pretty plain to me. And please, I'm not trying to call anyone stupid, so don't take it that way. I just mean going from before the time skip there were clues that kinda made me go, "well then, what are they trying to say?", especially when he first meets Jiraiya. But anyway, in my little world I've created in this fic Naruto knows who his dad is, now as they would say on Monty Python, Get on with it!!

Chapter 7
Naruto sat slumped on the couch staring out the window and listening to a CD that he'd bought on his last mission. He shifted his eyes to the clock above the stereo, 7:30pm. He sighed and grabbed the disc out of the player and took it into the bedroom and put in that CD player. He cranked the volume and grabbed clean clothes. He went to the bathroom and jumped in the shower.
He finshed rinsing his hair and stepped out onto the mat. As he dried himself off he thought of the mess he'd made of things. They had promised each other they would not let emotions get involved and he broke that promise. Naruto sighed and tied his headband on and finally turned the stereo off.
At the front door he paused to look at the picture on the wall, it was a candid shot of squad 7. He smiled at the picture and suddenly remembering, he dashed back into his bedroom and opened the closet, pulling a box off the shelf.
Six years ago, after Sasuke left, Naruto went to Sasuke's house and packed up all of Sasuke's family pictures. There wasn't very many, in fact there were 10 to be exact. One of those pictures was the squad 7 picture, Kakashi and Sakura smiling, Sasuke and him glaring at each other.
He pulled the front door shut behind him and made sure it locked and started wlking towards the hospital. His agenda was to talk to Sakura so he could apologize to her, seeing Sasuke was secondary. He didn't want her to be mad at him, even though he was still pretty ticked off about being called Sasuke.

Naruto got to the hospital and decided to go in the 'short way'. He ran up the side of the building, using chakra to hold on. He flipped himself over the ledge and on to the roof. Walking over to the roof acess door, which was unlocked as usual. He slipped into the stairwell and headed down the 2 flights to stairs to the floor the ANBU ward was on. At the doorway he poked his head out the door to see if anyone was in the waiting area.
He saw Sasuke first, Naruto was surprised at his friend's height, or lack there of. Sakura stood about 2 1/2 cm shorter than Sasuke, putting him at about 171cm. Naruto himself was taller at 180cm. He stepped out of the stairwell and walked over to his former team mates.
Sasuke sensed another chakra in the room and checked the relection in the glass. His eyes went wide in surprise and he turned around so quickly, Sakura almost fell down.
"Naruto," Sasuke said looking over at the taller shinobi.
"Oi Sasuke, I saved this for you," Naruto said handing Sasuke the box.
Sasuke got a puzzled look on his face and took the box from him. "You saved these for me? I don't know what to say other thank you," Sasuke said looking at a picture of his mom and dad.
"Well yeah, what was I supposed to do? Just let them trash 'em?"
"And damn Naruto, how tall are you? I never thought you'd be taller than me," laughed Sasuke.
"My dad was pretty tall. We look alot alike," Naruto said laughing.
Sakura looked the both of them, she couldn't believe Naruto was just chatting with Sasuke like nothing ever happened between the two of them. For crying out loud! Sasuke spent a good part of year trying to kill you, Naruto, her mind screamed at him, but no matter what she refused to say those words out loud, and she really wanted to know who his father was, "Naruto, when did you find out who your dad is?"
Naruto raked his fingers through his hair, "Granny Tsunade told me when I turned 18."
"So, is it anyone we'd know?" asked Sasuke.
"Maybe," Naruto grinned, "Namikaze Minato. Ring any bells?"
Sasuke almost fell over. "No fuckin' way! The Fourth?!? Come to think of it, you do look like him. Y'know with whiskers and stuff."
Sakura was speechless, Tsunade had always said she didn't know whenever she asked her. She didn't know what to say about the news.She took a good look at Naruto and yeah, she could see the resemblence. "Naruto?"
"What?" he replied with a sharp edge to his voice.
"Why isn't your last name Namikaze? Are you still mad at me?" she asked the latter question in an undertone.
Sasuke looked at the faces of his former team mates, the air between them was thick with tension. Sasuke took a small step back and waited for the fireworks to begin.

Naruto shot Sakura a look of disdain, "My mother's name was Uzumaki, and yeah a little."
"It was an accident! Baka o iu! I've never done that before! Gui to hiku koto!"
"I'm talking nonsense? I'm a jerk? Me? You've got to be kidding! *Tsch* I never called you Ino," he added in an undertone.
Sasuke sat down on the couch, watching the show. He smirked to himself, this is why 'friends with benefits' never worked. Someone always falls. It never fails. He shook his head and chuckled.
"What in the hell did you say?" Sakura yelled trying to hit Naruto, but failing because he kept dodging. Suddenly a thought occured to her, he's been letting me hit him.
Naruto sat down on the couch across from Sasuke, occasionaly looking over a Sakura to glare at her.
"Y'know Naruto, I used to get the dirty looks from you," Sasuke laughed at him."And Saukra, it's been thirty minutes."

Sakura ran over to the door just as two ANBU came stepping out. She tried to pivot and dodge the door, but she was too slow and it hit her right in the face knocking her out. Naruto ran over and caught her before she hit the floor. Sasuke decided, given the fact there were two ANBU, he shouldn't make any sudden movements.
"Good save, Naruto," the dog-masked ninja and the nin with the cat mask, who was obviously female, asked, "Is she okay?"
"I, uh, think she needs a medic. She got hit really hard. And I know Sasuke isn't supposed to have visitors, they were already out here when I got here," Naruto told them.
The taller of the masked ninja laughed, "It's okay, he's moving to a regular room in the morning."
The female went to get a medic. Naruto pushed Sakura's hair out of her face and took the guaze pad from the ANBU nin to keep the blood out of her eyes.
Sasuke wandered over to see if there was anything he could do and so no one thought he was up to no good. He glanced over at Naruto and Sakura, yep, Naruto's the one who fell, he thought. He sighed and streched, leaning against the wall. He looked at the dog-masked ninja, there was something vaugely familiar about him. He brought the Sharringan up and looked at the chakra pattern, then he knew who it was. "Hatake Kakashi! You went back into ANBU?"
"Hello Sasuke, long time no see. Back for good this time?" The jounin asked sounding bored.
"Yeah, I'm trying to get Sakura to fall back in love with me," he said getting a dirty look from Naruto.
"That shouldn't be hard, seeing how she never stopped loving you in the first place. And you'd think a medic would be easy to find in a hospital," he said with a sarcastic tone.
At that moment, Shizune came bursting out of the stairwell. "What happened? Was it Uchiha? What the hell? Naruto?"
"I had nothing to do with it," Sasuke said in a quiet tone, that said 'fuck you' really loud.
"Shizune, it wasn't him, it was the door, she got hit by the door. She's been out for, like 5 minutes. You might wanna see if she's alright," he said gently pulling the gauze away from her forehead to show her the wound.
Sasuke walked back to his room with Kakashi, leaving the rest of them in the sitting area.
