Ch.21 Suna Surprise

Pulling out my sickles I prepared to attack the Suna ninja but Kagami-chan held me back. I glared at her and snapped, “What are you doing? This chick just threw me out of my own apartment and is after you!”

“Leave her alone, we have to find Lee, we don't have time to waste on fighting her, come on,” she replied pulling me away from the Suna ninja. The ninja jumped in front of us, her face was covered and she wouldn't speak; she just blocked our path. We stood there for a second then suddenly Kagami-chan said something in a strange tongue and the Suna ninja turned and ran. “What the heck did you say?” I asked.

“There's no time to explain, we have to find Lee,” she answered.

“Well where should we start looking?”

“Don't you have any clue as to where he could be?”

“Hey, just because Lee and I are twins doesn't mean we have a physic connection or anything.”

“Well, does he know I left?

“Yeah, but he didn't know where you were heading, just like the rest of us.”

“Okay, I'll take the path out of Konoha and you search the village to see if anyone's seen him.”

“Alright and if you find him give him a good beating for me.”

“No, and if you find him and beat him I'll break your wrist.” The way Kagami-chan said that scared me, note to self don't get on Kagami-chan's bad side. Before I had the chance to reply Kagami-chan had already sped off. So I headed to the hotel she was staying in to see if anyone around there had seen Lee. To my surprise a lot of people had, of course he wasn't hard to miss; the strange thing was when I asked what direction they had seen him heading in they all pointed east; opposite of where Kagami-chan had gone. After a long walk that eventually brought me to a field I finally found Lee. And what do you think he was doing? Why training of course what else!

“Lee, you are so lucky your girlfriend would kill me if I hit you because if I knew she wasn't going to I'd sooooo kill you right now!” Lee jumped up in surprise and said, “Kaminari, I-“

“Save it we're going home right now! And if we're lucky we'll run into your girlfriend along the way.”

I started dragging Lee back home and ranting at him, but it just went right over his head because he was daydreaming the entire time. When we got home I saw one of the windows was broken. Oh great, I thought, what now? Then I saw Engo standing by the window I walked over to him and as soon as he saw me he jumped on my face.

“Ahh, Engo, get off,” I screamed falling backwards. Engo jumped down and started running in circles then I noticed a note on his back. “Engo, hold still so I can get the note.”

Engo stopped for a second and I pulled the note off his back but dropped it, because it shocked me. I tried picking it up again but it kept shocking me every time I tried, Lee snapped out of his daydream and picked up the note.

“What the heck's going on? I can't pick up the note but you can?” Lee just stood there after reading the note. “What's it say?” I asked, he wouldn't answer me so I walked around him to read it, all it said was, I'm sorry. 

Then before I could even think strait three Suna ninja came out of our apartment and threw metal collars at us. They latched on and started shocking us and we quickly passed out.
