Chapter 10- Naruto vs. Tobi
“Oh, crap.” Naruto cursed aloud, then thought quickly.
“Yes, I think it’s time I used ‘that’ jutsu. He quickly focused his chakra. “It’s a good thing I left a tag at the administration building. HIRAISHIN NO JUTSU!” In a flash, he was gone.
“What?!” Hinata gasped, while next to her, Kakashi’s eye closed in a smile. “That jutsu, he really has surpassed the fourth.”
“W-where’s Naruto go?” she turned to the jonin.
“He’s already there.”
Hinata used her Byakugan to find her boyfriend, and they quickly ran after Naruto. They quickly reached the spot where the two ninja were standing.
(A/N when I originally wrote this, I had no idea what type of jutsu Tobi had. I just made it up as I went.)
For the first time, Hinata got a good look at Tobi. He seemed to be smaller than Deidara, but he had the same black robe draped around him. There was an evil glint in the one eye not covered in an orange, swirling mask. He also had dark brown hair, shorter than Naruto’s, but still longer that some hairstyles she’d seen.
At this point, several Narutos appeared with a poof, and they quickly surrounded the akatsuki member. They then began showering kunai onto the man, who merely smirked, and raised his hands and formed hand signs.
“Earth style! Barricading walls jutsu!” Immediately, a huge dome of stone surrounded him, and he laughed evilly. Not even slowing down, however, the kage bunshins ran at the wall with a few basic rasengans. The walls crumbled and fell away, only to reveal....nothing at all.
“Sakura!” Kakashi called out. The medic, having just showed up, nodded, wound up, and punched the ground. A gigantic crater formed, and Tobi stood amidst the rocks. His mask had half broken off, and a smirk was visible on his lips.
“Not bad!” he called out. “Now let’s try this jutsu!”
“What?!” Kakashi exclaimed, just as Tobi mysteriously vanished.
“What kind of jutsu is this?” Sakura cried out. “Wait, this is a--” Her words were cut short as her throat was sliced open.
Ino screamed. “Oh my god! Sakura!” Quickly, she joined Sakura on the ground, a hole in her chest.
“Naruto! This is a –bleargh!” Kakashi too, was brutally murdered.
Hinata and Naruto faced away from each other, eyes open, as red chakra began to seep out of Naruto, then dissipating.
“N-NARUTO! LOOK OU– EEEEEYAAHHHHH!!!!” Blood spattered the back of Naruto’s coat as Hinata was killed.
“HINATA!!!”Naruto cried out, tears springing to his eyes. The red chakra began flowing out without restraint now. Tails began forming in the chakra, as Naruto began to look more and more beast-like. His skin began to turn black, and he gave an unearthly scream.
After 5 tails the transformation seemed complete, and Naruto gave another scream.
“IM GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!”
“Shit.” Tobi exclaimed. He undid the jutsu and turned to run, when Naruto finally spotted his prey. In a flash, a red hand of chakra grabbed Tobi and threw him into a building. It then grabbed him again, lifted him high into the air, and crushed him, head-first, into the ground, then into another building.
Tobi was no longer moving as Naruto’s teammates stood up, white-faced, but unharmed. Hinata saw Naruto and held a hand to her mouth.
Finally, the demon seemed to have had enough of the battle. He lifted the now dead akatsuki member into the air, and in a matter similar to the sabakukyu no jutsu, crushed him.
Naruto screamed into the air again. Another tail began to sprout. Hinata bean to cry, as Kakashi stepped up next to her.
“Hinata, we have to stop it, but you’re the only one that can. That chakra burns on contact, so you’ll have to shield yourself with your own chakra. Then, put this on Naruto’s forehead.” he handed her a piece of paper with a complex looking seal on it.
“It’s a sealing jutsu developed by Jiraiya-sama and Yamato-san.” Hinata nodded, tears beginning to run down her cheeks. She took the seal into her shaking hand, and began to walk towards the wailing creature that was her love. Despite the chakra flowing out of her body, she began to feel the burn from his chakra.
Naruto turned to face her, a small amount of surprise showing on his monstrous face. Fur seemed to have sprouted on hit, and his eyes glowed red.
“Naruto...” She stretched out her hand towards his face. The chakra began to burn at her skin. She bit her bottom lip from the pain, but continued to extend out her hand, until the seal touched against his hitaite. Immediately, he gave an unearthly wail, and Hinata’s arm was thrown back, though the seal stayed, as though glued to his head. Slowly, the chakra began to recede, and Naruto became recognizable again. Soon, the chakra disappeared, and the blonde fell forwards toward Hinata. She crumpled under his weight, and they both fell onto the ground, where Hinata sat up, letting his head rest on her chest as she wrapped her good hand and her scorched hand around him, sobbing.
