everybody! It’s been awhile! Well here’s the new chapter! =P
(Oh, and the idea of this kinda came from the movie ‘The Omen’.)
~Chapter 24; A dieing friend~
Asuka looked up at the ceiling. She was hardly awake. She starred at the IV in her arm in annoyance. The nurse had wanted to make sure she stayed calm so she was drugging her. ‘Why did I have that dream again? It was years ago. And I even used a jutsu to block out the memory so I could try and live a semi normal life… wait a second. That guy…… the one with long black hair and a weird tongue… what was his name? Orchiku or something? He was the one who told me about the jutsu in the first place. He’s the only one who could have destroyed my jutsu and brought back the memory. But why? …… Oh yeah… he’s my dad’s friend…’ She closed her eyes in the hospital bed. She wanted to get out of here. It was too boring. Suddenly a tall dark figure appeared in front of her. She opened her eyes. ‘Huh?’ She looked at him confused. He held up a syringe. It didn’t have any liquid in it. Just air. He started walking towards her and her eyes widened. ‘Orochimaru! That was his name! What’s he doing here?! What’s he want.’ Unfortunately the medications were preventing her from moving all she could do was scream and hope someone would come in and save her. She took a big breath and was about to scream when Orochimaru quickly covered her mouth. She tried to move but it was totally hopeless.
“He-he-he. Hello Asuka. Did you miss me?” She glared at him. “It seems you’re interfering with my plans to destroy This school and capture Sasuke, Gaara, and Naruto. The three of them will come in handy with the destruction of Konoha. And you’re changing them. Can’t have that now can we?” She struggled and tried to scream again. “I’m going to have to kill you now. This syringe is filled with air. If I insert the air into your IV tube it will travel into your bloodstream as an air bubble. You know what happens when an air bubble gets in your brain? He-he-he.” She struggled and tried to scream again. Tears started streaming down her face. “That’s right, you die.” He turned the alarm on the machine that measured her heart rate off and inserted the air into the IV. It started streaming down the tube and towards her arm. She cried more.
‘I don’t want to die… SOMEONE SAVE ME!’

Tsunade had arrived at the school. Gaara and Miharu were walking her up to Asuka. “So, can you describe what happened?” She asked them.
“Not really. You had to see it to really understand it. Her nurse an tell you. But we don’t really know how to put it in words.” Miharu said.

Naruto walked into Asuka’s room. “Hey, Asuka how ya do- What are you doing here?!” Naruto got angry and charged at Orochimaru. Orochimaru smirked and simply jumped out the window and escaped. “Damn it!” He turned to Asuka. “You ok?” He asked her. She was still panicking. “What’s wrong?” The air bubble entered her arm. She opened her mouth to talk but them it happened. Her eyes went blank and closed and she stopped breathing…. “Asuka!”

Orochimaru jumped out the window of Asuka’s room. “What’s Orochimaru doing here?!” Tsunade said surprised.
“Oh, no.” Gaara said gravely. He darted into the building and up the steps.
“Hey wait!” Tsunade and Miharu chased after him

Gaara kept moving. Everything was silent in his mind. He was blocking out everyone around him. He only had one thought. ‘I’ve gotta get to Asuka!’ He finally got to her room and charged in. He ran up to her bed. Tsunade and Miharu came in seconds later. “Naruto, what happened to her?! Is she ok?!”
“No she’s not! She’s dead! She’s fucking DEAD! It’s all because of Orochimaru. He killed her! I couldn’t stop him. I don’t even know what he did to her!” Naruto yelled angrily. Tsunade calmly walked up to the bed while Miharu didn’t take it s well. She fainted. Gaara on the other hand turned and angrily punched the wall putting a hole right through the plaster. Nurses came storming in after hearing it.
“What’s going on?!” Tsunade quietly examined Asuka while the nurses focused on yelling at Gaara and trying to find out what happened.
‘Chiyo was my best friend. Before she died, she taught me the forbidden jutsu. I could revive her but at the cost of my life. But… who would be Hokage?’ She turned and looked at the angry Naruto and smiled slightly. ‘He’s always so concerned about everyone else. He really has grown up to be a fine man. And it’s time he continued his father’s legacy.’ Jiraiya appeared next to her. No one really noticed they were too busy having a verbal war with each other.
“I know what your thinking about, I think it’s a good idea. Naruto can handle it. I mean he IS his father’s son.” He said while looking at Asuka.
“Yes, but if I do then they will all have to leave here and go back to Konoha.”
“I think it’ll be worth it. I’ll try to send them back another time. But right now I think that’s our only option. We can’t leave Asuka dead. It’s too much. Especially for Gaara. That kid has always been miserable but since he met her he’s been somewhat enlightened. I can tell just by looking at him. He cares deeply for her. I don’t think he’ll handle it much better than putting more holes in the wall and maybe even hurting himself.” He looked back at Gaara sadly. This was going to be a big sacrifice for Asuka.
Tsunade nodded. “Yes, I think this is for the best. I’ve lived long enough. It wasn’t her time. I’m going to fix that.” Jiraiya nodded. “I’m going to need some of your chakra.” He nodded again. Tsunade walked to one side of Asuka’s bed and Jiraiya walked to the other side. Everyone started to calm down and noticed that they were doing something. They watched the events unfold silently. Tsunade performed some hand signs and placed her hands over Asuka’s belly. Her hands started to glow green. “I can already feel my energy draining…” She said tiredly. After a couple minutes she was almost done. “I need your chakra now. Just put your hands over mine.” Jiraiya put his hands over hers. Tsunade finished and a single tear fell down her cheek. “Live on.” were her last words.
“Tsunade…” Jiraiya said sadly.
