Part 3

A New Life

 

Konoha

 

The shockwave blasted through Konoha as a strong gust of wind. All of the people felt it, but only the shinobi knew that there was chakra in it. Only the ones closest to Naruto felt his chakra in the wave, and only the survivors of the Kyuubi attack knew what the other chakra in it was. Whatever the case, the Leaf-nins were frightened. The ones that knew and accepted Naruto, because they thought something bad had happened to them, and the ones that survived Kyuubi, because they feared that it had escaped and would take revenge on them for sealing it.

 

In a way they were rite. The Kyuubi had escaped, just not in the way that they thought. Tsunade-hime was worried about Naruto, who she considered her younger brother. She summoned the ANBU Captain “Take as many available Nin as you can. I want Naruto found. Kyuubi's chakra was mixed in with his so I want you to take all of the Rookie 9, just incase Kyuubi took over. Naruto may be able to stop him if he sees them”

 

The ANBU doesn't move. Tsunade slams her fist into the desk, breaking it in half. “GET GOING!” the Captain makes a quick exit to avoid the angry Hokage. `That woman is almost as scary as the Kyuubi' He goes to gather the Rookie 9 and their teachers.

 

Thirty Miles north of Naruto's Clearing

((A.N: That's what I'm calling the clearing caused by the fusion))

Sasuke and his team stop as the shockwave passes by them. His eyes darken as he feels Naruto's chakra mixed up in it. `I thought I killed him,' his eyes darken even more as he feels a far more powerful chakra mixed with Naruto's. He didn't like the thought of the dobe having anything to do with that kind of power.

 

The female, whose name was Nelli, spoke. “Sasuke-sama, a few moments before that chakra wave, I saw what looked like a pillar of blue and red light in that direction.” She points in the direction that they came from. “Should we check it out? Sasuke scowls angrily, Naruto had come into contact with something that would make even Orochimaru sweat. He runs back towards Naruto's clearing.

 

Naruto's Clearing

 

As the light recedes, a nine-tailed figure steps out of the dust. It looked like Naruto that is if Naruto had nine tails. The kid had memories that stretched hundreds of thousands of years. “Hmmm…” he rumbles. His voice sounds like Naruto's did, except that it had a rumbling, growling undertone to it. “I will need a new name, one that has nothing and yet every thing to do with the old me.” His blue eyes slowly un-focus.

 

His eyes were a deep blue, as deep as the ocean. His pupils were slitted in true demon fashion. They were a mix of Naruto and Kyuubi. Actually, they were all Kyuubi except for the color. The whiskers on his cheeks were longer, deeper, and darker. His claws, or hands if that's what you want to call them, no longer had soft human nails at the ends. They were hard as diamonds and could be as sharp as a mid-winter gale (blizzard) or as dull as a human's. He could extend or retract them whenever he wanted, leaving them short so they were even with his fingertips, or and inch long, or any length between. Other than that he looked exactly like Naruto, except he had nine tails and red-orange hair.

 

His slitted eyes focused and he flexed his claws. “My name, for now, will be Kit Bikyuu.” Kit was for a small fox, because he was short, he admitted it now, but he was close to if not THE strongest being on the planet, though he would hide that fact from anyone he met. And Bikyuu because it was Kyuubi backwards. ((A.N: I'm not using English for that, I'm using Katakana)) He might not be Kyuubi exactly, but his enemies should fear and respect him as if he was. In fact, he was stronger than Kyuubi was, even if it was just by a little. He could also use more jutsus than the old Kyuubi because of the old Naruto, or he would when he figured out how to use his chakra again. As it was, he could use only one thing, and that was just because it has like a Bloodline Limit, except it was far stronger than any limit known to man.

 

It was called Onimetsuki ((Demon Eyes)) which allowed him to use all other optical limits, so long as he has seem them before, while when used on him, regardless of whether he's seen it before, they were useless. The Byakugan could not see anything but his physical form, no tenketsus nothing, while the Sharingan could not copy him at all, which is probably a good thing because demon jutsus would kill a human if they tried to do one. Kit could use then both, Byakugan and Sharingan, but when he used them it would not look like they did when the Uchihas or Hyuugas did. ((A.N: I'll explain what it looks like later in the chapter)) one added bonus to the Onimetsuki is that it would keep people's minds from recognizing anything he chose. For instance his tails. ((Yes I am obsessed with his tails)) while people's eyes would see them, their brains would not. He would be able to “see” them, but no one else would. This would be in effect even if he was not using Onimetsuki, unless he chose to reveal them. You can tell he is using it because instead of his eyes being blue they would be as red as Kyuubi's were. He could “hide” things without his eyes turning red though. Anything he “hides” would remain that way until he chose to reveal them. At that moment he hides his tails. `Wouldn't be too good for anyone to see those just yet'

 

He sniffs the air and raises an eyebrow. He could smell a team from Konoha approaching. That is all he could tell on his first whiff, they were still far away. He takes a second to see who was coming. All of his senses had been heightened to an almost unthinkable level due to the fusion. He laughs. It was the Rookie 9 and their teachers. Well most of them anyway, no one from team 7 was there. He decides to leave before they found him. Even if they wouldn't recognize him, there was a chance one of them would, especially the any of the adults. Besides, he planned to one-day return to Konoha, and he did not want anyone to remember that he had been there that day. There would also be an interrogation if they caught him here. He dashed off to the east and the hidden Sand Village using his new speed to quickly leave the clearing. He would learn some new jutsus before he returned. Because his senses were still new to him he had miscalculated the Konoha teams distance. He shot off just an they entered the clearing. They had seen him, however briefly.

 

2 Minuets Before with the Rookie 9

 

Gai-sensei “Hinata, are you sure it was this way?” Hinata “H-Hai, the light was in this direction.” Asuma-sensei stops suddenly. The gennins and chunnin stop behind him and stare at what lies before them. In the middle of the woods there was a gap 40ft across from one tree to another in any direction. The ground was perfectly level and as smooth as glass, and standing in the middle of the clearing was a boy. He looked like Naruto, except he had bright red-orange hair. He seemed to be in thought when suddenly he ran off in the opposite direction at an inhuman speed. Kiba walks to where the boy was standing. “Well I guess we found what made that light.” He sniffs the air along with Akamaru. “Naruto was here. What's funny is that his scent does not leave here. It just stops rite here in the middle.” He sniffs the air again “that boy we say smells kind of like Naruto, but he also smells like fox and the forest. Naruto never smelled like that.” The teachers get a strange look in their eyes. Gai-sensei “we will report this to Tsunade-sama. When we get back do not speak of this to anyone.” They head back to Konoha to report what they found to Tsunade.

 

Hokage's Office

 

Tsunade “That is very interesting. From now on wherever you go on any mission ask around if anyone has seen anyone that fits this guys, or Naruto's description. Dismissed.” The teachers leave and Tsunade sighs and puts her head on her desk “What happened to you Naruto, where are you. If that red haired guy hurt you in any way I will personally rip him limb from limb.”

 

Sasuke's Team

 

Sasuke and his team enter the clearing. Sasuke looks around, but there is no sight of Naruto's body. There are signs of a team from Konoha there. He decides that they took the body. There is no way that Naruto survived that. The clearing itself catches his attention. It is perfectly circular and smooth as glass. Naruto's body would have been in the center of it. His eyes darken, he would have been in the middle of it, what could that mean? He activates his Sharingan and is surprised to see wisps of blue-red chakra everywhere in the clearing. It cant be Naruto's, his was blue, but then again there was that time in the Valley of the End where his turned red. Oh well no use thinking about it now. He killed Naruto and Kakashi was injured, that's probably how the team from Konoha knew that Naruto's body would be out here. “Lets go back to Orochimaru. He would like to know that our mission was a success and that we did a little bit extra.” He and his team rush back towards the Hidden Sound.
