“Kaiesha come back,” cried Sasuke through the pain in his ribs. Orochimaru just turned to the boy and smirked. “Please Kaiesha, I know your in there” Naruto went to help Sasuke as Orochimaru gave a maniacal kind of laugh.

 

“Fool, it's useless, Kay is nothing more than a puppet that follows my orders and my orders alone!” said Orochimaru as Naruto helped Sasuke to his feet. Kay just smirked as her master looked at her. “Do it now Kay, kill them both!” Kay just dashed towards Naruto who awaited the pain but saw that Yukina was in front of him with chakra surrounding her body. “Well isn't this interesting, Kaiesha's mothers best friend, still lives…how odd”

 

“I don't care if you do look like her Kay, you are not like Katara,” said Yukina as Kay smirked and just slowly began to circle her. “If I die here, you will die as well, I will not let Katara's daughter fall victim to you like she did!” `Huh? Does that mean that Kay was part of Kaiesha's mom? This is all too weird!' thought Naruto.

 

“You know all of this talk of the past is getting really annoying,” said Kay as she stopped circling Yukina and noticed Sumaru try to stand. “Perhaps we should make this more interesting, I mean in my opinion not enough blood has been spilt yet. Kage bunshin no jutsu!” Soon there were at least fifty Kay's all smirking as Orochimaru laughed. “Orochimaru-sama, I will kill these people, I swear” `Why the hell is she listening to Orochimaru so well?' thought Sasuke.

 

“Kaiesha! Stop, fight off Kay, I know you can,” yelled Sasuke as Naruto looked at him. “I've seen her fight off Kay before, so I know she can do this” Orochimaru just smirked and walked towards the two boys and pointed to Kay who was attacking Yukina and Sumaru.

 

“It seems as though you don't know the reason why Kay can take over Kaiesha-kun's body so easily Sasuke-kun,” said Orochimaru as Sasuke stood up and glared at him. “You see,” he said as he watched Kay fight the two members of the village hidden in the stars. “Kay is what controls the memories of Kaiesha, and if Kay is destroyed, then Kaiesha will get back all of her memories from all the bad things she's done over the years!” As suddenly as she began attacking Yukina and Sumaru Kay stopped and gripped her head. Sasuke tried to run to her but Orochimaru stood in his way. Naruto tried to do the same, but Kabuto stood in his way. “Let us watch and see what happens.”

“What does he mean that you control my memories?” asked Kaiesha as she circled Kay. “Are you the reason parts of my past remain blank, because if you are, let me see my past” Kay just smirked at the young girl and raised her hands and crossed them across her chest.

 

“I hate to say it, but if I show you all the bad memories, you would break. They would slowly eat away at you causing you nothing but pain. You would live in fear from all the evil deeds you've committed and all the innocent people you have killed. You would have no where to go, you would have to reside in the darkness of your own tainted heart. So are you willing to do that, just for a few memories?” Asked Kay as Kaiesha thought for a moment but soon nodded her head. “So be it”

Kaiesha screamed as she fell to her knees screaming at the top of her lungs. “Well it seems as if she finally wants to know of the evil deeds she did in the past. Kabuto, get the star, then our work here is done” Kabuto just nodded and disappeared as Naruto and Sasuke became worried and the minute Kabuto disappeared and stopped blocking Naruto's way, he dashed towards Kaiesha.

 

“Well isn't this interesting,” said one of the two ninja's who Kaiesha thought she would never see again, one of them being a man with a fish-like face and a huge sword and the other being the renegade ninja of the Uchiha clan. “Kaiesha?” asked Itachi as he ran towards her.

 

“Get away from her Itachi,” growled Sasuke as Itachi ignored him and turned to his former teammate. “I said get away from her” Sasuke dashed past Orochimaru who just smirked and went with Kabuto back to the village hidden in the sound, his work was done here. “What the hell are you doing here!”

 

“Who the hell let her do this?” asked Itachi as Kisame noticed all of the villagers beginning to form a crowd around them. “I'm not going to ask again, who did it?” Itachi turned to Naruto who was watching Kaiesha carefully. Kaiesha continued to mumble but her words were incoherent to the rest of the shinobi.

 

“Leave this place Konoha ninja!” cried one villager who was holding a pitchfork. “You are causing us nothing but trouble, and now our precious star has been stolen!” Soon the crowd turned into an angry mob. Sasuke just ignored the villagers and pulled his girlfriend into his chest.

 

“Sasuke, we need to get back to Konoha,” said Naruto as Kisame looked at Itachi who nodded. “Tsunade-sama, has to fix her” Sasuke just nodded and left the village with Naruto, both of them oblivious to the fact that Itachi and Kisame were following them in the shadows. Sasuke could feel Kaiesha clinging to his shirt as it became wet with tears…were the memories of Kay really that awful? Well he didn't really care considering at this moment in time all he really wanted to do was hold her close and tell her everything was going to be all right.

“Tsunade-sama, something seems fishy about the request to the village of the stars,” said Shizune as Tsunade raised an eyebrow as she glanced at her friend. “All they did was request three ninja's but there was no telling of the task they were required or do, and they payment they gave was way over the regular amount” Tsunade's eyes grew to b the size of saucers at the same moment the wooden doors to the office burst open.

 

“Tsunade-sama!” cried Sakura as he ran towards the Sannin. “Please come with me, and hurry… It's Kaiesha…something happened to her…” Tsunade didn't need to be asked again as she dashed from HQ and headed towards the hospital. Sasuke, and Naruto were both waiting outside the room, watching as four medic ninja's tried to pin Kaiesha down. Sasuke just didn't get it, he wanted to be in there with her, to hold her hand but they wouldn't let anyone go in. “Sasuke-kun, Naruto-san!” cried Sakura as she and Tsunade appeared. Tsunade didn't even stop to talk to the kids but just entered the room. “Sasuke-kun what happened?”

 

“I can't say that I know,” said Sasuke as Sakura looked into the room. “Something about Kay…and Kaiesha's memories.” Sasuke watched as Kaiesha finally passed out and Tsunade began to walk out of the room with a pissed of look on her face.

 

“What the hell happened in the village of the stars?” asked Tsunade as Sasuke and Naruto both looked towards the ground. “Ok, either one of you tells me or else you all get your asses sent back to the academy!”

 

“Kay…”started Sasuke as Tsunade looked at him. “Orochimaru was talking about how Kay can keep memories blank from Kaiesha when all of sudden she fell to her knees screaming. She kept mumbling words but I couldn't make any of them out” `Orochimaru, that bastard, he knew that Kay was more powerful near the star. And the fact she was at level two with the curse seal…that bastard planned it…'

 

“Tsunade-sama!” cried Shizune running towards the hokage with Tonton following close behind. “Someone is waiting to speak with you at HQ, I think it's important” Tsunade just sighed and looked at Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura who nodded in understanding. She nodded back and took off towards headquarters with Shizune who left Tonton at the hospital just in case. Tsunade barged through the doors of her office to find a strange sight.

 

“It's been a while Tsunade-sama,” said Itachi as Tsunade nodded and sat down in her chair. “It's odd to think how it seems all of the things we have tried to keep hidden, seem to be unraveling before us. Soon all the deceiving webs of the past will fall. Soon Sasuke will find out about the true past as well as the Kyuubi kid.”

 

“It's true that all the lies of the past will soon be made truthful, but I have a question for you Itachi,” said the fifth turning her gaze towards him with a slight wondering twinkling in her eye. “How is it that you and Kisame managed to stumble upon the village hidden in the stars at this precise moment?”

 

“To be honest, all we really did was follow a lead we recieved from the akatsuki about Orochimaru, we had no idea it would lead us to Kaiesha,” said Itachi who noticed the sense of worry around Tsunade grow. “How is the little devil anyway?”

 

“She'll be ok, but I want to know why Kay would show her the memories in the first place,' said Tsunade. “It isn't like Kay to take orders from anybody, in fact the only person I've ever seen her listen too was Orochimaru. God dam it! That bastard knew what was going to happen and planned this whole thing…but why would he take the star? What motives drove him to cause this anyway?”

 

“I can't say I know,” said Itachi eyeing the picture of the young Kaiesha sitting with the third and fifth. “Say Hokage-sama, does Naruto know of his own sibling?” Tsunade just sighed and shook her head.

 

“Kaiesha asked me about it and so I told her the truth, that Naruto was really her twin brother, but I doubt she's told him yet. Besides Itachi when are you going to tell Sasuke the truth about the Uchiha clan, Surely it must kill you inside to know your younger brother hates you”

 

“I can handle that, knowing that he was kept safe and doesn't know the truth is enough for me,” said Itachi who somewhat smirked at the newest thought that came into his mind. “Say Tsunade-sama, what is the relationship between my little brother and your goddaughter anyway? They seemed a little…hmmm how should I put this…close…back in the village hidden in the stars?” Tsunade jut smiled, but almost as quickly as the smile has formed it left in the replacement of a frown.

 

“Itachi, I think I know why Orochimaru took the star,” said Tsunade as Itachi listened in. “If Orochimaru wants both Sasuke and Kaiesha, perhaps he plans to use Kay as the mediator between all of this. He'll use Kay to lure Sasuke to the sound and then get rid of them there. Knowing him as well as I do, I would believe this to be his plan. I'll have ANBU members scout and see if they can find anything”

 

“Me and Kisame will keep an eye out for them as well, if we find any leads we'll inform you right away,” said Itachi. “As for the Uchiha clans' past though, perhaps on his birthday in two weeks, I will tell Sasuke the truth, however until then please keep this all confidential”

 

“Understood,” said Tsunade as she nodded, but just before Itachi reached the door Tsunade spoke once more. “You know, it wouldn't hurt Sasuke to know you're really a good guy, same with Akatsuki being a secret good group” Itachi just nodded and left the room, he was hoping to make one last stop at the hospital, but knew that wouldn't be possible with Sasuke there. `Be safe, Kaiesha-chan'

“Sir, she won't calm down,” said one of the medic nins as the main doctor sighed. “She continues to yell for Uchiha Sasuke and wont let anyone come near her, please sir, grant permission for me to get the young Uchiha so we can at least get her under control without having to sedate her” The main doctor nin nodded as the medical ninja dashed off to find Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura.

 

“Are you sure it's all right that we left Kaiesha-chan?” asked Sakura as Naruto ordered a bowl of ramen from the cafeteria in the hospital. “I mean Tsunade did entrust us to watch her…” Sasuke just looked away from the group as Naruto shrugged it off.

 

“It's not like we're going to be here for a day, we just came because we were hungry,” said Naruto as Sakura sweat dropped. `More like you came because you were hungry.' Naruto just continued to east his ramen as the three sat down at a table, but no sooner did there feet touch the floor, when a medic ninja came running towards them.

 

“Sasuke-san, if you would be so kind…please come with…me,” said the ninja who seemed to be out of breath. Sasuke just stood as did Sakura and Naruto but Sasuke told them it was ok, and they could join him later. So Sasuke took off with the medic and was curious as to why they wanted him. “She just calls your name and won't let anyone touch her…” `Huh Kaiesha woke up? I should've been there…' “Ummm sir…you can go in” Sasuke broke from his thoughts and saw that Kaiesha was shaking and holding the blankets close to her chest. Sasuke slowly turned the doorknob to see the shaking and crying girl he loved. He reached out to touch her hand but she flinched.

 

“Kaiesha? It's ok, it's me Sasuke,” Kaiesha didn't flinch this time as Sasuke intertwined her fingers with his. Kaiesha bolted up in bed, making eye contact with Sasuke for only a few seconds before falling into his arms, crying pitifully.

 

“Please make it go away,” said Kaiesha as Sasuke wrapped his arms around her. “I just want it to go away” Sasuke just held her close at a loss for words. He was never really good with words and this situation wasn't helping. “All the things Kay did, all the people she killed, I'm nothing more than a murderous monster”

 

“No!” cried Sasuke. “Kay was the one who did that, not you Kaiesha!” Kaiesha had stopped crying and only tearstains remained on her face. It took her a moment but as soon as she registered what Sasuke was saying she backed away from him into the wall, hugging her knees into her chest.

 

“Everyone keeps telling me that,” she replied in a tone no greater than a whisper. “But you don't understand, Kay is apart of me, I'm the one responsible for her actions. When you add all the killing sprees she's committed, I'm no better than Orochimaru himself” Kaiesha let only a single tear fall before grabbing her head. “Man who the hell dropped five sumo size rocks on my head when I was sleeping? Sasuke?” Sasuke just shuffled towards her as she hugged him, which was a surprise to Sasuke considering the conversation they just had. “Will you please stop worrying about me?” Sasuke was about to say something but Kaiesha put her finer to his lips to stop him. “Don't try to tell me that you weren't worried, a person wouldn't need to read minds to figure that one out” Sasuke just smiled and leaned in to kiss her, when all of a sudden, Naruto, the person with all the right timing showed up with Sakura.

“Kaiesha-neechan you're ok?” cried Naruto as Kaiesha's eyes grew. `neechan? Does he know the truth. Ouch!' cried Kaiesha gripping her head yet again. “Kaiesha are you ok?”

 

“Ya just a little headache is all,” she said as her hands began to tremble so she placed them in her pockets as to not arouse suspicion any further. “I think all I really need is a lot of ibuprofen!” Everyone besides Kaiesha and Sasuke laughed as the medic nin that had gone to receive Sasuke walked in.

 

“Kaiesha-sama, you're awake?” he asked as Kaiesha tried to stand but Sasuke ended up helping her. “You shouldn't do that, you need to remain in the hospital where we can make sure nothing will happen to you” Kaiesha just sighed and then grinned madly as she came up with a plan.

 

“Something about square rooms with white walls gives me the creeps, so I was wondering if I can go home if I promise to stay in bed for a week, and Uchiha Sasuke here promises to make sure I follow through with what I said”

 

“What? I will?” asked Sasuke as Kaiesha smirked and the ninja rubbed his head.

 

“I…well… I don't know,” said the ninja as Kaiesha gave him puppy dog eyes. “Well I suppose as long as Sasuke, Naruto or Sakura is with you, and I will also tell Tsunade-sama about this” Kaiesha nodded and thanked him as she leaned on Sasuke for support and walked out of the hospital. Naruto and Sakura said they would come by Kaiesha's tomorrow since it was getting late. Sasuke helped Kaiesha open the door and both were surprised at how Tonton managed to get in the locked apartment when the pig was at the hospital with them…but they brushed that aside as Sasuke helped Kaiesha to her bedroom.

 

“Sasuke?” asked Kaiesha as Sasuke looked as though he was about to leave the room. “Will you…stay with me tonight?” asked Kaiesha as Sasuke looked at her with a quizzical look on his face. “It's just…well…I really don't want to be alone tonight…”Sasuke just took a seat in the chair across from her bed. She sighed knowing he was probably blushing, but it was dark so she couldn't really tell. “Man you amaze me sometimes” she said as he began to pat the empty spot on the bed. She could here Sasuke gulp and soon felt him lying beside her. “Thanks Uchiha” Sasuke just grinned and wrapped his arms around Kaiesha protectively as Kaiesha snuggled into his chest.

There she was, no not her, but Kaiesha was having a certain flashback, the one that haunted her since that day, the one she remembered without fail, and now here she was in Kay's body. “Itachi, you and Kisame go on ahead,” said Kay/Kaiesha pulling out a kunai knife and licking it. “I can take care of things here” Itachi and Kisame left knowing not to mess with Kay, leaving Kay with Kakashi and his fiancé Nara.

 

“Kaiesha-chan please come to your senses,” cried Nara as an unsuspected shuriken came from the trees and stabbed her in the back. She grunted in pain, but pulled the shuriken out as her and Kakashi stood back to back. “I know the kind hearted Kaiesha is in there somewhere”

 

“That fool is not here at the moment, so there is no one here to stop me from killing the three of you,” cried Kay as Kakashi looked towards Nara when she said three, which turned out to be a fatal mistake. Kay charged at them with many different types of clones, hiding herself amongst them and attacking Nara and Kakashi, making there defeat inevitable. She could feel Kaiesha starting to gain power over her so she sighed. “Looks like I wont be able to kill everyone here, however I will settle for this..” With that Kaiesha through Kunai's from every direction, one piercing Nara's stomach and the other piercing her heart. The female Jounin coughed up blood as she fell to the ground.

 

“Nara!” cried Kakashi as he pulled out the kunai that were stuck in Nara's body before pulling her close. “Please hang on” Kakashi felt his mask get wet with tears as Kaiesha circled him and smirked.

 

“K-Kakashi…Ai…” said Nara as she took one last breath. “Shiteru…” That was the last word Nara ever spoke, because the moment that word left her mouth she was nothing more than a corpse.

 

“It's a shame you know,” said Kay as Kakashi turned to her and glared. “You would have made a good father” Kakashi just growled in anger throwing a kunai towards her, but that's when Kaiesha realized she couldn't move. She was stuck and the kunai was coming her way.

“Kaiesha! Kaiesha Wake up now,” cried Sasuke who as holding Kaiesha's hands. Somehow Kaiesha had broke from his embrace and walked to her shuriken holder pulling out a kunai then slowly inching it closer to her throat. Had Sasuke not noticed her presence any moment later and there would be a possibility that he would have a dead kunoichi on his hands. Kaiesha finally snapped out of her nightmare and the clink of the kunai hitting the ground was heard. Kaiesha grunted in pain as she gripped her head.

 

“Why now?” she asked no one in particular. “Why now?” Sasuke just gripped her hand as Kaiesha looked up at him slightly surprised but then remembered how he agreed to stay with her.

 

“Come on,” he said kissing her forehead. “Let's go to bed” Kaiesha just nodded and followed him to her bedroom, hoping she might be able to get at least a little bit of sleep.

“Dam it, we were so close,” said Orochimaru who was holding the star. “If only Sasuke-kun hadn't interrupted her, she would be dead, then we could finally kill Naruto-kun”

 

“Orochimaru-sama why is the death of Kaiesha-kun so important again?” asked Kabuto

 

“Fool, how many times must I explain this,” sighed Orochimaru. “If Kaiesha doesn't parish, then Naruto is undefeatable!”
