Jessica sighed as she slowly kept in pace with the two men she'd been with for many long hours. She never expected it to take so long to find Deidara, though it seems now that it would. They left the cave area in the late evening the night before, and now it was early afternoon the next day. How far away did he bring the two ninja from where he dropped her off? Could he have gone back to get her, not find her, and then just give up and leave? She was now dead tired of the forest, and just wanted to find her master and leave. With her arms crossed in front of her chest, for comfort and self-sheltering purposes, she closed her eyes softly for a moment as she continued to walk.

“Hey, it looks like Deidara-san was taken out too.” The orange masked man stated loudly as he stopped in his steps. Jessica then came to a halt as she heard those words. As she felt her heart come to a stop, she found that she couldn't breathe from her shock.

“What do you mean?” She choked out.

“See, it's his hand!” He said as he waved an amputated arm up in the air. “The cause of death was definitely from a bomb explosion… Zetsu-san, I wonder if bits of him fell down around here…” Jessica could then feel herself become light headed. Putting a hand on her forehead, she tried keeping herself steady before she heard an annoyed, familiar voice from behind.

“Get your hands off that, idiot!” Deidara yelled. Turning quickly, Jessica let out a weak cry of joy when she saw the man come out from behind a tree, panting for breath.

“Ah, you're alive!” Tobi yelled as he dropped the arm.

“Deidara-sama,” she said as the man then turned his gaze onto her.

“Jessica, what are you doing with them? I though I told you so stay it the spot I put you in, yeah!” He asked as he stepped towards the girl.

“Uh, well I…” she said trying to think of what to say. “Deidara-sama, how did you loose your other arm?” The man then looked at her rather confused by the quick change of topic before looking down at the place his arm once was.

“That Kakashi took it with his Sharingan,” he stated. He then was about to continue, when he looked up and remembered that the other Akatsuki member and the `Akatsuki wanna-be' were there.

“What happened with the Jinchuuriki?” Zetsu asked as he turned to face the younger man.

“Hey, my part in this is over, mm.” He said as he turned his face away.

“Oh my, looks like you had a close call, Deidara-san. You okay?” Tobi said as he lifted his arms up half way as if he were going to shrug. A moment later, he then put his hands on his hips and continued speaking before the blond could say a word. “I guess not.” Deidara then stared at him for many seconds as nothing but the sound of the birds could then be heard. As Jessica would describe it, he had an expression that one would make when an annoying child who follows you around says something that had just wasted a good amount of your time.

“Tobi…” he began,” I only let things go three times… Next time you say something, I'll decide how you will die, mm.” The masked man then made an awkward noise before shrugging again.

“What is there to decide? You're going to blow me up anyways, aren't you?” He said merrily.

“That's… three times,” Zetsu stated as Deidara glared at the man who stood about four meters in front of him. The next moment, the blond then tackled him to the ground and had him in a head lock in between his legs.

“Death by asphyxiation,” he shouted as Tobi desperately tried escaping his grasp while he let out loud chocking sounds.

“Deidara-sama,” Jessica yelled. “I think I've seen enough blood for the year already that I've seen in the past twenty-four hours, thank you very much!”

“Listen to her Deidara-san, listen to her! I'm the one who saved Jessica-chan from the scary cave, you should be thanking Tobi!” He croaked out as he escaped the man's strong hold.

“You went back to the cave?” He yelled as he looked at his slave. As she sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck, she let out a small chuckle.

“Not exactly… You see, I was where you put me for a while when I heard someone fighting in the forest. It turned out to be one of those enemies I think, some creepy looking guy in green spandex and orange leg warmers. He sort of saw me when I was trying to get away, but of course he was fighting so I was able to escape and uh… I ran towards the cave then the cave's roof then like exploded… And then I watched Sasori-san fight for a while… That is, until my Hemophobia took over and I passed out… Then I woke up later and found that no one was there and I went down and then I ran into these two…” She said quickly as she pointed at the two other men who stared back at her.

“So you watched him die, mm?” He asked as he stared down at her. “It's strange how he always said that he made all of his art to live forever… And yet now he's dead, killed by a brat and an old hag. So just how did this happen, mm?” Jessica was then silent for a moment as she thought about the details. Cringing every few seconds as she recalled some of the incident, she tried replaying the over view of what she saw happen.

“From what I recall, they made it so that his `puppet body' couldn't move… He went all out it seems; he said that the hundred-puppet manipulation thing he was using was his last trick. How did you find out that Sasori-san died?”

“The two women met up with the rest of their team again. I was hiding under a bush and saw them talking about it.” He replied after pausing for a moment.

“So you watched without being seen? You're pretty good, huh Deidara-san?” Tobi said light heartedly as he folded his arms against his chest. “How did you do it?”

“Tobi, I'll kill you if you don't shut up!” He yelled as the masked man then backed away a bit with his hands up to defend any attack that was to be brought upon him.

“I'd almost find this funny if you weren't so serious about the killing part,” Jessica muttered as she looked at the immature man she'd been traveling with.

“What's that?” The blond said turning to look at her again.

“Nothing, its nothing, Deidara-sama, heh… What are you going to do now without any arms? I mean, how can you do anything without them now?” She said now a bit worriedly as she looked back and forth between his ripped sleeves.

“I'll just get them sewn back on,” He stated. “And for the one I lost in the sand village, well then I'll just replace it.” Jessica still showed confusion on her face. Sighing, he shook his head before walking over to his arm. “Just never mind it; I doubt you'll understand. Why don't you just take a nap or something? You'll just get dizzy again if you watch me get my arms sown back on.”

“Right,” she staggered as she imagined in her head what the operation would look like. Shivering, she then went to the opposite side of the tree she was standing next to and sat against it on the ground. “Just tell me when you're done.”
