A Soliloquy of Life: Chapter 8- Boy or Girl?

 

 

It was early Thursday morning at 5:00am. Shinji told Kaji that he just woke up early to use the bathroom as Kaji was leaving for work. Once Kaji was gone he walked out of the bathroom and over to Asuka's room where he quietly woke her up.

Asuka asked drowsily “What time is it?” as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

Shinji whispered to her “Time for a shower.” Asuka's eyes flashed open as she quickly woke up and headed to the shower with him.

As Shinji was turning the shower on to warm it up Asuka asked him “How are we going to do this without waking the others?”

“Like this” Shinji said as he reached down and inserted a finger into her to warm her up too. Asuka let out a gasp, but Shinji covered her mouth with a kiss. Asuka showed her approval of this method by reaching down and messaging Shinji until he was ready as well. Moaning into his mouth was a very pleasing experience for the both of them. When they were both sufficiently ready Asuka put a condom on him and asked “So how many are there in that box?”

Shinji answered “Fifty, but I'll buy another box on the way home today.”

Asuka smiled greatly “Good, but to be on the safe side buy two.” She then hopped up on Shinji and straddled him. She had to kiss him long and hard to hide the moan she let out as he pressed into her. Shower time was definitely going to be a favorite time of the day from now on.

 

At 6:30am Shinji left to dispose of two pieces of evidence into the apartment complex's dumpster. He then came back in and started making breakfast. The usual fare for the others but for Asuka he made French toast. She was greatly pleased by this and helped him make breakfast in her usual way but with a little more zeal. At 7:00am Misato got up slowly and headed for one of the showers while Rei headed for the other. Rei got done with hers first and came out to sit at the table and eat her breakfast.

She looked at the two and said “How is it your cleaned and dressed, but I was the first to use our shower Asuka?” Both of them blushed. They had forgotten the rules were that the guys used one bathroom and the girls used the other. The only exception was for Misato, as since she was pregnant she got to use whichever one was closest or open to her. Rei just winked at them as Misato came out for breakfast as well. After breakfast was over the three took off for school as Misato left for work at a leisurely pace. Since she was pregnant she was never in a rush anymore because she figured she had the ultimate excuse, and no one ever argued that with her. She was really starting to show now so she was a bit short tempered, plus her mood swings could get you in trouble if you said something you should not of.

 

Once Rei, Kensuke, Shinji, and Asuka got to school they were greeted with “Well look who actually decided to show up for school today.” from Hikari. But she said it with a big smile so they knew she was just joking. She looked at the two couples and said to Asuka and Rei “Our chat will begin right after the bell and you will tell me everything.” Both Asuka and Rei nodded their heads yes as they had much to say. The boys laughed at this as it was proof that boys weren't the only ones that liked to brag about this sort of thing.

While walking to the classroom Shinji whispered to Touji “The sports trick isn't very effective.”

Touji started to laugh “It doesn't work for me either. I just heard it on a TV show once.”

 

“Stand, Bow, Sit.” The class rep said and immediately started a chat when class started.

Shinman = Shinji; Allstar = Touji; MilitaryIntel = Kensuke; RedQueen = Asuka; ClassRep = Hikari; and Ice = Rei.

 

ClassRep: As I most likely know why Asuka and Shinji were gone, I want your explanation first Rei.

Ice: I told Kensuke if he caught me I would prove I'm a true blue.

ClassRep: That would explain why he was chasing you so fast past school. Did he catch you?

Ice: Yes

ClassRep: And that explains why you were skipping home from school so happily yesterday.

Ice: Definitely Yes ^_^

ClassRep: So what happened in-between?

Ice: A lot of good things and almost one bad.

ClassRep: Almost one bad???

Ice: I used my teeth, and while I got my usual punishment I almost lost my virginity.

ClassRep: You weren't both naked while you straddled his lap, were you?

Ice: Yes

ClassRep: That's very dangerous position for a virgin.

Ice: I already know. We had to make some new rules about that.

ClassRep: Good thinking, your virginity is not something you want to lose by accident.

Ice: I may not have to worry about that much longer.

ClassRep: Are you sure? You just started oral.

Ice: When are two parts touched, we both knew it was right.

ClassRep: That's it?

Ice: There was one more thing but it's very private.

ClassRep: Is that private thing really that important to you?

Ice: Yes

ClassRep: Then it's good enough for me. So when are you planning this?

Ice: Were both going to talk to our parents this weekend.

ClassRep: Do you have any questions?

Ice: Asuka said awkward, painful, and emotionally gut wrenching.

ClassRep: That's about right, and that confirms what you did yesterday Asuka.

RedQueen: There's a lot more to say than that.

Ice: Can I ask another question first.

ClassRep: Go ahead.

RedQueen: Yup.

Ice: Asuka how do you do your technique without gagging?

RedQueen: I don't know, I guess I'm just a prodigy.

ClassRep: More like freak. I've been going down on Touji for longer than she has on Shinji and I'm still not able to completely deep throat him.

RedQueen: You just need to practice more.

ClassRep: I'm sure Touji would love to hear that.

Ice: So I can eventually get there by practicing.

RedQueen: Yup.

ClassRep: If you're a normal girl, lots of practice and you have to learn how to suppress your gag reflex.

Ice: As long as he is so good about returning the favor, I don't have a problem with that. Now let's move on to Asuka, I may need a pointer or two.

ClassRep: I agree.

RedQueen: The only thing I want to add about the first time is be careful if he has sore ribs.

ClassRep: OUCH.

RedQueen: He was the one that made me squeeze them so hard.

ClassRep: That's weird.

Ice: But that's Shinji. He will hurt himself much worse than he will hurt another.

ClassRep: That's true. He doesn't seem to be in much pain though.

RedQueen: He's hiding it, I could tell in the shower this morning.

ClassRep: It didn't take you long for your second try.

RedQueen: Actually that was our fourth and fifth.

ClassRep: What??? How are you up to five already.

RedQueen: My first was in the morning, then we talked about it, took a nap, and when I woke up I wanted to try again. It started out painful but ended extremely satisfying both emotionally and physically.

ClassRep: According to the books you're supposed to wait a day.

RedQueen: My body disagreed with the book.

ClassRep: The books are wrong??

RedQueen: Yes they are.

Ice: Mental note: don't have to wait one day.

ClassRep: That makes me mad XD

RedQueen: Why?

ClassRep: Because I waited one day!!!

ClassRep: I am going to burn those books when I get home.

RedQueen: Should I stop then?

ClassRep: No, what about three.

RedQueen: It took about fifteen minutes to recover from two, but when I did I wanted to try something Rei once said.

Ice: You're not talking about B.P.

RedQueen: Yes I am. And by the way you can now use that phrase anytime you want. And I recommend especially around Shinji as I want him to get the idea in his head as often as possible.

Ice: You are a freak.

ClassRep: What's B.P.?

Ice: Baloney Pony.

RedQueen: As in riding the Baloney Pony.

ClassRep: I did that with Touji yesterday. Trust me Rei it is very fun.

Ice: I'll take that as another pointer.

ClassRep: Okay now explain four and five.

RedQueen: Both were in the shower this morning.

ClassRep: You really are a freak.

RedQueen: I know. But a very fulfilled freak ;-) ;-)

ClassRep: Weren't you worried about being caught this morning?

RedQueen: No. Misato hasn't got up before 6:30am since she hit four months.

ClassRep: So she doesn't know you and Shinji have done it yet?

RedQueen: She knows.

ClassRep: Did you tell her?

RedQueen: No, didn't have to. Both Kaji and her took one look at us and knew.

Ice: You can't hide much from those two.

ClassRep: Did they get mad at you?

RedQueen: No, Misato just talked to both of us and she asked me to make sure I was being safe while Kaji did the same with Shinji. Although if we flaunt it or they catch us in the act, we would most likely get into a little trouble.

Ice: I wonder how long that will take.

ClassRep: Do I detect a wager.

Ice: NO!!! You never lose.

ClassRep: That's why I like to do them. hehe

RedQueen: Speaking of wagers, what did you get for when Shinji would ask me out?

ClassRep: $50 from Kensuke and $50 from Touji.

RedQueen: You owe us half

ClassRep: Why?

RedQueen: We looked at the chart and picked your date because it was the soonest.

ClassRep: I always wondered why it took a month after we caught you two making out in the classroom for him to officially ask you out. So what are you going to do with the $50?

RedQueen: I am going to buy a hat on Saturday when Shinji and I go shopping for a promise ring.

ClassRep: Are you sure it's going to be a promise ring???? The way he is looking at you he might be thinking something else.

Ice: LOL.

RedQueen: Yes but please don't encourage him.

Ice: Is he still trying to make it a diamond?

RedQueen: Yes, and if the perv keeps doing it right after we make love, he'll probably succeed.

ClassRep: //sarcasm\\ Poor Asuka

RedQueen: Yes Poor me. It's just not fair making me scream out yes at the top of my lungs.

RedQueen: Oh and speaking of promise jewelry, where did Touji get your promise necklace he gave you when you turned 17?

ClassRep: First floor jewelry store in the East side mall. I think it's called DSS Jewelry.

Ice: Yellow looks really good on you, why don't you ever wear your necklace outside of your outfit?

ClassRep: Because it's against school rules to display any jewelry. *growl* I Hate That Rule *growl*

Ice: Ignore it then.

(Rei shook her wrist to emphasize she was wearing her bracelet.)

RedQueen: It is a stupid rule anyway and I guarantee you I will when I get my ring.

ClassRep: That's because the administration is afraid of you two, and what Misato would do if they challenged either one of you. With me though they will take away my class rep title.

Ice: They wouldn't do that just over a necklace.

ClassRep: Why do you think I stopped wearing those earrings Touji gave me when we first started dating.

RedQueen: That is not right, hold on a second.

(Asuka got up in the middle of class and walked over to Shinji. She then whispered something into his ear. He thought for a minute and whispered something back. Asuka then walked over to Touji and whispered something into his ear and he nodded his approval back to her. Finally she grabbed her phone out of her bag, and excused herself from class saying she had “Nerv business.” The teacher did nothing to stop any of this, he just kept on prattling away.)

ClassRep: What is she up to?

Ice: I'm not sure.

(Hikari then looked back at the boys to signal them to join the chat)

MilitaryIntel: What's going on?

Shinman: Asuka needed to make a call.

Allstar: You should be able to show off your necklace before lunch.

ClassRep: Do I want to know what this is all about?

Allstar: I doubt it.

ClassRep: Tell me anyways.

Allstar: It's your plan Shinji, you tell her.

Shinman: I told Asuka to give Johnson a call. He likes to solve problems.

(Asuka came back into the room with a smile on her face.)

RedQueen: It's settled.

ClassRep: Did you really call a Nerv goon?

RedQueen: Yes, and you know this one.

ClassRep: Is Johnson the super large guy that was at the bachelor party and hospital?

Ice: Yup, he is the best one. He is now second in command to Kaji of the shadow squad.

ClassRep: Shadow squad????

RedQueen: That is the nickname for the personal security people who watch over us.

ClassRep: How can you guys allow that?

Shinman: Actually since we never see them, they are pretty easy to ignore.

MilitaryIntel: I saw one once.

Ice: He doesn't count because he was a rookie.

MilitaryIntel: Shoot. I thought I won the bet.

Allstar: How does Kensuke have shadows.

Shinman: He got them the day him and Rei got together.

RedQueen: You guys have them too.

Allstar: WHAT

ClassRep: WHAT

Ice: It's simple, if Misato cares about you, you have shadows.

Allstar: That's cool. I always was jealous of you guys for having them and now I have them too.

ClassRep: This is creepy, how long have I had one.

RedQueen: Actually you have a total of eight, and you have had them since the wedding.

ClassRep: They don't watch me all the time, do they?

Shinman: No, they are very respectful of our privacy, and don't worry about them saying anything. Kaji gave them strict orders to only report problems and nothing else.

ClassRep: How do you know all this?

RedQueen: Kaji knows that we know, so he tells us everything.

Shinman: But Misato doesn't so don't tell her anything.

ClassRep: Why?

Ice: Because it would break her heart.

ClassRep: She does this because she cares???

RedQueen: Yup.

Ice: Yes.

Shinman: She's a little overprotective isn't she?

ClassRep: I guess I can accept it, but what is this bet about?

Shinman: All the agents have ID numbers on their right pockets. You just have to report that number to Kaji and if it is one of yours and not a rookie you win the bet. It's a $50 buy in and the winner gets the pot. Are you two in?

ClassRep: Definitely.

Allstar: Yup.

ClassRep: So whose shadow is Johnson?

Ice: No ones. He is too big, so he is the group's problem solver. He is really nice though.

MilitaryIntel: That's because you and Asuka have him whipped.

RedQueen: That's because he is a big softie at heart, just ask his girlfriend.

ClassRep: Who's that?

Ice: #35278A-6. But her name is Michele. She is actually a Nerv liaison officer and interrogator so she doesn't count either.

(Kensuke noticed a Nerv van pull up and saw Johnson come out of it.)

MilitaryIntel: Johnson's here.

RedQueen: Give him about ten minutes.

 

The kids all logged off and ten minutes later an announcement came over the intercom from the superintendent himself. “The ban on public jewelry has been immediately revoked.” The teacher looked up at the intercom in confusion as the super sounded scared when he said that. And when he turned back around he saw Hikari smiling and wearing a gold necklace with a large perfect alexandrite gem shaped into the sun on it. (A/N: Trust me, if someone was actually able to do this it would be extremely valuable and would make a diamond necklace look like a piece of trash. Perfect alexandrite gems are rarer than perfect diamonds.) A giant hand then stuck into the classroom and waived at them.

All the kids said “Thank you Johnson.”

The teacher just shook his head and continued on. Too many odd things have happened in his class already this year, so he had become numb and accepted everything now. If they weren't going to train him how to handle this stuff, he wasn't going to try to.

As for Hikari, she was very happy for the rest of the day. And she made Touji very happy later on after school as that pendant was bouncing around for a very long time.

 

Little Break

 

On Saturday afternoon Asuka and Shinji left for the mall. When they were gone Rei walked up to Misato and asked “Mom, can we talk?”

“Of course we can sweetie. You know I am always here for you.” Misato answered and added “So what do you want to talk about?” Rei blushed and looked down at the ground. Misato cried out “Not you too.” “I was hoping for at least a month” “Are you absolutely sure you need this talk?” Rei nodded her head yes. Misato let out a large sigh and called for Kaji. “Kaji we need to talk to a daughter.”

Kaji came out of his room and said “About what?” but when he saw Rei he followed what he said up with “That talk twice in one month, it's not fair. Are you sure about this?” Rei nodded her head yes again. “Okay then” Kaji said “But if I get one more gray hair you owe me a bottle of hair dye.” Rei let out a little laugh and agreed. Kaji put his arm around her shoulder and led her to the kitchen table while Misato put on some tea. They then had a very long and sometimes uncomfortable talk that wasn't any easier for them to handle than the one they gave to Asuka and Shinji.

 

Shinji and Asuka were walking around the mall just looking at this and that in an effort to waste time. After three hours, with Shinji still trying to upgrade the ring to a diamond, Asuka tried to make a final deal with him.

“Okay, the ring can have diamonds. Just small ones and NO big one. Also it will count as my birthday present.”

Shinji shook his head “No deal.”

Asuka then gave him the $50 she got from Hikari to sweeten the deal “I will also let you buy me something with this, but I already know what I want.”

Shinji thought about the added bonus for a minute and added “Plus I get to arrange for a private gift on your birthday Saturday morning.”

Asuka told him “No Ring.”

Shinji answered “No ring, but you will like it.”

Asuka agreed to the deal and said “This is the jewelry store Hikari told me about” and pulled him in, but also away from the engagement ring section. After a little searching Shinji found one he really liked and called Asuka over to look at it.

“It's absolutely beautiful, but it is way too expensive” she said.

The salesman came over and said “That is because it is one of a kind. Every stone had to be hand cut and placed. It was done by the top jewel maker in Israel. And he guaranteed he would never make another one like it again.”

“Can I have it inscribed with Our Love is Forever?” Shinji asked.

The salesman took a step back and stared at him while mumbling “It.. It already is.”

“Then it was made for Asuka. I'll take it” Shinji told him.

Asuka yelled out “NO!!!” and then told him “It's way too expensive, and you don't have the money.”

Shinji answered her with a big smile “Yes and I convinced Misato to let me dip into my trust fund, so no more arguing.”

At the words trust fund the jeweler took the ring out of the case and gave it to Shinji. Shinji took it and slipped the ring onto Asuka's finger. The jeweler was amazed again as it was a perfect fit. He didn't even need to resize it like he had to with most rings he sold. This was just too weird but he wasn't going to say anything because this was going to be a huge commission if he made the sale. He was very flattering on how it looked on Asuka's finger, but he didn't really need to be as it looked liked it fit her perfectly.

 

In the basement of a house in Israel and old jewelry maker was laughing out loudly. He looked up at a very old scroll on his wall and said “I wonder if SEELE ever figured out that they dropped the last page of the Dead Sea scrolls.” He let out a old man cackle and then called upstairs to his wife “Did you send my latest creation out yet?” She walked down the stairs and handed him a package while answering “I sent it out this morning, it will get there in plenty of time. Also this came for you today.” He opened the package to find a large perfect diamond. His wife looked at the scroll on the wall and said “You only have a little over a year to carve that into a rose, you better get going.” The master jeweler inspected the diamond closely to make sure it was indeed perfect before he went to work on another one of a kind creation. This was going to be his masterpiece.

 

Asuka stared at the ring on her finger. It was the size of a girl's class ring, but instead of a large gaudy single stone there was a bright red ruby cut into the shape of a rose with a single emerald cut down to a steam and two leaves. These two stones were accented by being surrounded by a sea of small perfect diamond, all perfectly placed and set into a platinum gold band.

Shinji said “It sparkles almost as much as your eyes” Asuka looked up and stared at him with those sparkling eyes and he said “But nowhere near as beautiful.”

Asuka smiled greatly “Sweet talker.” She then grabbed him and planted a deep and passionate kiss on him right in the middle of the store. They caught quite a few stares, but she didn't care. She wanted the whole world to see how she felt about Shinji. During the kiss Shinji reached into his pocket and pulled out a slip of paper with an account number on it. The jeweler rang it up while Asuka was still kissing Shinji.

When the kiss finally ended Asuka said “Now lets get my other present” and she pulled him out of the store.

 

Asuka led him to a western clothing store and they walked over to the cowboy hat area.

“So which one do you want to buy me?” Asuka asked in a tempting voice. Shinji almost burst out in tears of happiness. He made his selection very carefully, paid for it, and he and Asuka left the store with her wearing the hat.

Shinji noticed Asuka had them take a different train home. “Why are we on this train?”

“Because it stops at the hotel we stayed at during Maya's wedding.” She whispered into his ear “I want to try out my hat, but I only brought one condom so we can only do it once.”

Shinji whispered back “I brought one too, so now we can make love first and then test out the hat.”

Asuka's eyes lit up in anticipation of an extremely good time when he told her that. And when they got to the stop for the hotel she grabbed Shinji and ran off the train, up the stairs towards the hotel lobby, and pounded on the dinger very loudly to get immediate attention. She gave the clerk her credit card and quickly said “One room please.”

The clerk swiped the card and looked at his screen closely before saying “I'm sorry, but due to an incident a little while ago we can no longer check out a room without a parent or guardian present.”

Asuka grabbed the clerk by his tie and forcible pulled him over the desk and screamed “NOW” right in his face. The clerk fumbled for a room key and gave it and her credit card to her.

She let go of him and said sweetly “Thank you.” Shinji just shrugged his shoulders at the frightened clerk as he was being pulled to the room at a rather quick pace. On the way out several hours later she handed the key back to the clerk behind the desk and with a melodious and content voice she told him “Have a good night.”

 

When Shinji and Asuka entered the apartment they were greeted with an accusatory “The mall closed an hour and a half ago, got an explanation?” from Misato.

“We took the wrong train home” they said together.

“Uh-huh, and what's with the cowboy hat?” she said with a raised eyebrow. Rei heard this and came over to investigate. When she saw Asuka, she fell to the floor laughing.

Misato looked at Rei and then back at Asuka “What is going on here?” she demanded. Asuka took off her hat a put it in her room before Rei died of laughter and called out from her room “Do you really want to know?”

Misato thought about it for a second and answered with a sighed “No” and left it at that. Misato and Shinji then walked over and picked Rei up off the floor and put her on the couch so she could catch her breath. Asuka came out of her room a minute later and flashed her ring at them, catching both the girls' attention. There was much commotion on the couch as they oww'ed and aww'ed at the ring. Even Kaji came over to take a look. He gave Shinji a thumbs up afterwards as he was quite impressed.

 

The next Monday Asuka showed Hikari her ring right away before school. Hikari looked at it and said “Yours is one of a kind too, isn't it?” Asuka proudly nodded yes. Hikari then wrote the name of the jewelry store on a note and gave it to Kensuke. Kensuke looked at the note and gave them a questioning look. Hikari played with her necklace and Asuka held up her hand and showed off her ring. Kensuke understood completely and carefully folded up the note and put it in his wallet for safekeeping.

In the classroom Asuka placed her hand over the ring to hide it until school started. She then took her hand off it to see how quickly the rest of the class would take to notice. Within 30 seconds all the girls in the class were around her desk. The teacher even came over and to take a look. He looked at Shinji, gave him a knowing nod, and returned to his lecture ignoring the fact that no one was paying attention to him. All the girls were around Asuka and now all the boys were around Shinji, teasing him or chiding him for setting the girls in the room expectations way too high. He didn't care though, nothing was too good for Asuka. He knew he didn't have to spoil her like that but the fact he would anyway said much more than the monetary value of the things he bought her. Plus Asuka was very generous at paying him back and the form of payment she chose was not something you could put a price on. Well except for the price of contraceptives, those could sometimes be a bit high.

Eventually the class did settle down and returned to normal with most of the class chatting with one another on the computer. Except for Rei and Kensuke, their chat was private. And at lunch Rei and Kensuke went off on their own so they could talk some more. The next day while walking to school Rei said she forgot her lunch and went back to get it. Kensuke went to help. At school Asuka and Shinji nodded at Hikari and Touji to let them know what was happening.

 

When they got home Asuka and Shinji knocked on the apartment door first and slowly entered making sure they weren't interrupting anything. They saw Kensuke and Rei sitting at the kitchen table.

Rei looked up and smiled while saying “You guys can come in” and Shinji and Asuka joined them.

While talking at the table Rei said “You were right about the first time, and the second, but we took too long on it for a third.” Kensuke just nodded yes to what Rei had said. Asuka and Shinji looked at the two and Asuka said “Then everything is okay.”

They both nodded yes but Rei added “We do have one small minor problem.”

“What is it?” Shinji asked.

“We are having trouble getting the blood out of my sheets” Rei said. “How did you do it?” Shinji got up and showed her one of his cleaning tricks so she could take care of it.

While helping her he asked “I don't want to know anything but…?”

“He was very careful and treated me like a princess the whole time” Rei answered her overprotective brother who didn't want to know the details but did want to know if she was happy. When Shinji went back over to the table to sit down Asuka got up and went over to talk with Rei. He looked at Kensuke with confusion. This was the boy who just took his sisters virginity so he should be mad at him. But on the other hand he was one of his best friends and Kensuke did treat Rei extremely well. Plus if he said anything of the overprotective big brother type Rei would probably get mad at him and tell him to knock it off.

Kensuke was well aware of what Shinji was thinking because his thoughts were plastered all over hi face. He told Shinji “Don't worry. I promise I will never hurt her.” He noticed Shinji expression lighten up at that. He then smirked as he added “But I might need to get a pair of earplugs if she keeps screaming like that. And she really proves that the quiet ones are the wildest ones.”

Shinji made one comment to that “You are a dead man.” The resulting chase around the apartment was very entertaining to the girls. Shinji was trying to shut Kensuke up while Kensuke was describing Rei in very vivid details. These were things that Shinji didn't really want to know as his sister was chaste and pure little girl and not a dirty girl who loved to stand on her bed with her hands pressed up against the wall and her legs spread apart while her boyfriend was on his knees eating her out. Eventually the girls who pulled their boyfriends towards them and declared a truce stopped the teasing.

 

Kensuke was still there and talking with Rei, Asuka, and Shinji when Misato got home. She took one look at the two and knew what had happened. The two got very nervous when she looked at them so she decided to lighten up the mood in the room by saying “You didn't get my penguin drunk again, did you?” PenPen warked from the couch with only one beer. “Good he gets cranky when he's hung over.”

She saw the others laugh and then went over to make sure Rei and Kensuke were okay. Kensuke also stayed for dinner, and after dinner he had a long talk with Kaji. Shinji was nothing compared to Kaji and Kaji was very clear in that he expected his little Rei was to be treated with respect at all times. He was also very clear on the fact that he didn't want to hear anything and none of this just happened and they never needed to talk about this again.

The next day the girls spent most of the morning talking about Rei's experience before they moved onto other things. Mainly there were a bunch of birthdays coming up so there was much to be figured out.

Hikari asked “Okay Asuka yours is this Saturday, what are we doing for it?”

Asuka answered “In the morning Shinji said he has plans that will make me unavailable. And at 4:00pm Misato reserved the banquet area in that fancy new restaurant downtown. The guest list is us and Nerv's main staff, so it won't be too big.”

“Sounds like fun” Hikari told her.

“I have a feeling it will be” Asuka said wishing it was already Saturday morning.

Rei then asked Hikari “So what is Touji planning for his birthday?”

“The party will start at his favorite buffet place and then will move to his house for cake and presents” Hikari answered.

“He's not going to get into another eating contest with Johnson like he did on Sunday.” Asuka laughed “I heard the restaurant almost ran out of food.”

Hikari laughed “What are the odds that they would both be at that same restaurant at the same time. I kind of felt bad for the management. But I did get to meet Michele, she is really nice.”

“Good. Oh and Rei and I already picked out the perfect present for him. He is going to absolutely love it.” Asuka then turned her attention over to Rei and asked “So what are Kensuke's plans for his birthday?”

Rei answered “A small party with family and friends in the afternoon like mine, and then he wants to take me out for a night of dinner and dancing. Oh.. and don't wait up.” Hikari and Asuka giggled at that last comment while Rei shot Kensuke a wink. Kensuke almost fell out of his desk as a surge of ideas popped into his head why that was happening.

 

That afternoon Kensuke took Rei shopping. When Rei got home she hid her promise jewelry behind her back. She asked Misato first “How long has Ritsuko had that rock on her finger?”

Misato answered “About a week now, she doesn't have much planned yet so that's why there hasn't been an announcement. So how do you know? And more importantly show me what you got!”

Asuka was also impatient and since she didn't see a necklace she grabbed her right hand, but found no ring either. Rei chuckled and held out her left wrist to show off her improved bracelet.

“How in the world” Misato gasped.

“That is amazing” Asuka said with astonishment and told Shinji to come over here. He took a look and said “That explains why it took you five hours to get a piece of jewelry.” Rei blushed at that comment.

Kaji came over and looked as well. “That's a lot of rocks and ice for one wrist, you sure you can handle the weight.” He said with a little chuckle already knowing the answer.

“I already am” Rei said as she stared at her bracelet.

 

At the jewelry store the owner got in a weird piece of jewelry that looked like it was missing a part, but since it was from that same guy in Israel that made that really nice necklace and the ring, it had to be valuable. When Rei and Kensuke went into the store they looked around a bit but didn't find anything that really stood out so they asked the owner if he had any unique necklaces or rings. The owner said he was sold out but he did have a weird bracelet that was one of a kind. He warned them though that it looked like it was missing a piece. They asked to see it anyways, so he went to the back of the store and got it out of the safe. He then set it on the counter. Rei stared in amazement at the sapphire and diamond bracelet in front of her. Kensuke looked at it and asked Rei to let him borrow her bracelet for a second. She gave it to him and he took the band off of it. He then slid the nameplate part of her bracelet into the back of the bracelet on the display case where it fit perfectly and snapped into place.

The jeweler said “So that is what was missing, a name plate. It looks very good in there.” Kensuke strapped the bracelet that now had the nameplate bordered in sapphires and diamonds attached to a band made out of sapphires as well, but the words `Endless Love' written in diamonds on the side, on Rei. It fit perfectly around her wrist. It was almost as if it was made just for her. At first it felt heavy on her wrist, but after a minute or two it felt like it had always been there.

“We'll take it” Kensuke said while Rei was still staring at the bracelet on her wrist.

“How would you like to pay for that, it's quite expensive” the jeweler told him.

“How about a trade?” Kensuke answered. The jeweler looked at him funny as bartering was not a common practice in the jewelry world.

Kensuke went up to his computer and started typing away while saying “While I was looking around I noticed your security system is really old.”

The owner responded “Tell me about it. I am operating on a twentieth century system right now while I got a brand new system wasting away. But the damn security company in this mall won't install it unless I fork over 300 grand because they will need to hire an outside contractor.”

“I have some experience in security type software and I have had the chance to work on the city's main Magi system so I could handle it.” Kensuke told him “I'll do it in exchange for the bracelet.” He then turned the monitor back around and showed the owner his schematics.

The owner looked them over and noticed they were even better than the demo he was shown by the systems manufacture. He wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth so he said “Deal, when can you do this? Everything is sitting in back.”

“Right now if you want and I should have it done by the morning. It doesn't actually look that complicated.” Kensuke answered.

Kensuke then felt a hand grab him and start to drag him away “He's mine right now. You can have him later.”

“This may take a few hours” Kensuke yelled back to the jewelry storeowner as Rei dragged him off.

The jeweler just laughed “See you tonight.”

 

As Rei made a quick pace through the mall with Kensuke she bumped into Maya and Ritsuko. She stopped for a second and looked at Ritsuko.

“That's a pretty ring” she said to her.

“Thank you” Ritsuko answered and noticed her wrist “That is a beautiful bracelet you're wearing.”

“Kensuke just got it for me. Bye.” Rei said and continued on her path. She was going to the train station where they would catch a train to a certain hotel that Asuka told her how to get a room at.

As Ritsuko and Maya watched her walk off in a hurry with Kensuke in tow Ritsuko smirked “Last time I saw that look in someone's eyes you bedded Makoto for a week.”

Maya smiled back “That was the best advice I ever got from Misato.”

Ritsuko looked at the ring on her finger “If my man didn't have a real job that's what I would be doing right now.” She then looked at her watch “I still have three hours to kill, what should we do next?”

“Buy some sexy lingerie to surprise our boy toys” Maya answered. That sounded like a very good idea to Ritsuko too. There was nothing more she liked than to have her man come home and open the door just to see her sitting on the floor in front of him in nothing but a babydoll with crotchless panties.

 

“So where's Kensuke now?” Asuka asked Rei.

“He's at the jewelry store with the owner, working on his security system.” Rei said in return and they both went to sit on the couch with Misato to look at her bracelet under some better light so they could watch it sparkle. And it sparkled so beautifully that Rei wanted to go help Kensuke at the store but Misato told her no. Misato knew if Rei went back to the store the only thing Kensuke would be doing was her so for the sake of him getting some good experience in the working world Misato restricted access.

 

The next morning Asuka, Shinji, and Rei meet Kensuke on the way to school. “You look tired” Shinji said.

“Yeah, I just finished the jewelry store's new system two hours ago.” Kensuke answered.

Rei wrapped her arms around his waist and gave him a kiss and then told him “Don't worry you can sleep through class.” And that is exactly what he did.

Rei woke Kensuke up for lunch with a kiss “I could get used to that kind of wake up call” Kensuke said and gave her a kiss back. They then went to lunch with the others. He ended up falling asleep again while she was holding him so she woke him up at the end of lunch in the same way. At gym class he walked around the track once and took another nap on the bleachers. This time it was the gym teacher who went to wake him up but Shinji and Touji stopped him and explained the situation to the gym coach. He agreed to let him sleep through gym only if they gave him the name of the jewelry store they all went to. He wanted to buy an anniversary gift for his wife and since she was pregnant it had to be good.

All that sleeping was very intentional as Kensuke knew he had to be rested up for Rei. She had sent him several messages during the day describing how horny she was and that she was very disappointed by the fact that by the third day Shinji and Asuka were already up to eight but they were only at five. Rei wasn't really in any kind of a competition with Asuka but it made for one hell of a good excuse to get laid. “Don't worry, we will definitely get to that one later on this morning” she laughed “But lets try something new first.” She turned to page number one and said “Just did it” and crossed out the page number. She then turned to page number two and said “We haven't tried this one yet, and it looks like a lot of fun.” She got up on her hands and knees and said in a very enticing voice “I think you know what to do Shin-Shin.”

 

At 1:00pm Misato announced “Were home” loudly as a warning for the two. Asuka walked out of the bathroom in her robe and hair tied up in a towel.

“Don't worry, Shinji's in his own room” Asuka said teasing Misato and added “Can you help me with my hair?” Misato rolled her eyes at Asuka as she followed her into her room.

“So do you want your hair up or down?” Misato asked.

“What looks better with my black satin dress with roses on it?” Asuka said.

“Definitely up” Misato answered and she started to put it up while Asuka handed her the proper clips and hair pins that she would need to accomplish that style.

After Misato was done putting up Asuka's hair she grabbed the cowboy hat Asuka had left on her bed and joked “You could always just wear your hat” and put it on her head. In the reflection from the mirror Misato saw Asuka's eyes open widely and fill with horror. Misato looked also noticed in the reflection there was a book on the bed that used to be under the hat. She quickly turned around and grabbed the book before Asuka could leap out of her chair for it. When Misato looked at the title of the book her eyes filled with horror as well.

Misato asked in an astonished voice “You didn't get this from my room, did you?” while at the same time Asuka pleaded “I just bought that, please don't take it away.”

They both froze as they interpreted what the other had just said. Misato opened the book and flipped through it quickly. She then let out a laugh and threw it back to Asuka. Asuka caught the book but looked at Misato very curiously.

Misato said with a hint of jesting “You bought that at the love store at the mall, didn't you?”

“How did you know?” Asuka asked as Misato was right.

“Because that is where I bought mine.” Misato answered, and both of them started laughing at the interesting coincidence.

When Asuka finished laughing she asked Misato “So how did you know that one wasn't yours?”

Misato smiled as she said “One, I don't call that position `Riding the Baloney Pony.' Although that does explain Rei's reaction to the hat. And two, mine is full of notes.”

“Notes” Asuka asked curiously.

“Yup, lots and lots of notes” Misato told her.

“Any chance I could see them?” Asuka kept up curiously.

Misato answered her in a teasing but serious way “I think you would have much more fun creating your own notes.”

Asuka took the opportunity to try and get away with something “So we have your full blessing to try as much as we want.”

Misato laughed at this and said “I can't blame you for trying that, but as long as you're under 18 you still have to be discreet. Oh… and try to cut down on your guy's shower time, Kaji flipped at the last water bill.” Asuka blushed at the revelation that Misato knew much more than the two thought she did. Misato of course teased her some more about it but stopped after a while and gave her a little kiss on the head as she continued to help Asuka get ready for her birthday party.

 

Before they were going to leave for the party Rei said “Asuka I need to give you your present early.” She went to her room and brought out a painting she had covered with a sheet. “Since Shinji liked the painting of Yui I gave him for his birthday so much, I figured you would like one as well.” Rei took off the sheet to reveal a painting she did of Asuka and Shinji in each others comforting arms while sleeping in a hospital bed. Asuka's eyes filled with tears and she hugged Rei tightly. Shinji came over and kissed Rei on the top of her head and said “Thank you, from the both of us.” They hung the painting in Asuka's room on the wall opposite the door so it could always be seen anytime you walked into her room.

 

Everyone was dressed nicely for the party, the food was top notch and Asuka got a lot of clothes and mall gift certificates for her presents so she was happy.

“So did you have a good morning?” Hikari asked Asuka with a grin on her face.

“Extremely good.” Asuka said with an even bigger grin and added “And you know the book you told Rei and me about, Misato has it too. Except she said hers is full of notes.” Both Rei and Hikari looked over and stared at Misato. Misato excused herself from her current conversation and walked over to the three girls.

“So what are you girls talking about?” Misato said knowing full well by the looks on their faces. Hikari and Rei started blushing. Misato laughed and said “I will tell you the same thing I told Asuka. You will have much more fun if you create your own notes.” She then left the girls and went back to her other conversation.

 

“By the grins on your and Asuka's faces, I take it you had a good morning.” Touji teased Shinji.

“He better of, I had to spend the whole morning shopping for maternity clothes and baby stuff. If it wasn't for Kaji having to be there as well, I would have gone insane.” Kensuke complained loudly. Touji started laughing at this. “It's not funny, it was torture. You owe me big time Shinji.” Kensuke shot back as he was being laughed at. Shinji started laughing too but handed him a piece of paper.

“What's this?” Kensuke asked.

Shinji answered “It's a reservation receipt for the hotel on the night of your birthday. I figured I would have to pay you back.” Kensuke looked over the receipt and saw it was for the honeymoon suite.

With a big smile on his face he said “This almost makes us even” and started laughing. While they were laughing Johnson walked up to them.

“So are we on for next Saturday?” he asked Touji.

“Definitely. And I even called the restaurant and told them we were coming so they can't use the we are almost out of food excuse this time.” Touji answered.

“Good, I got bummed out when they stopped us last time” Johnson responded. Just then the two guys both felt someone grab them by their ears. Michele and Hikari dragged their boyfriends away from each other to stop this conversation before it got too far. Both Kensuke and Shinji were laughing hysterically.

“So what are you boys laughing about?” Asuka said as she and Rei walked up behind them.

“There is going to be another eating contest.” Shinji said while laughing. Both girls just shook their heads in disapproval while saying “boys.” They then grabbed their boyfriends and headed off with them to talk with some of the other people at the party.

 

On Sunday morning, Misato woke up at 7:00am. “You only kick like that when you're hungry” she said softly while rubbing her tummy. Misato got up quietly as not to wake the others. “Do you mind if I check on your brother and sisters first?” she said and since she didn't feel another kick she took that as a yes. She opened Shinji's door first. “Just as I thought, he's not there. I don't even know why I check his room anymore.” She walked over to Asuka's room and found the two together in the same pose as the painting by her bed. She sighed and said to her little child “I doubt your going to even get to six before you're an uncle or aunt.” The thought though wasn't that bad as she started smiling as she said it. She then walked over and looked into Rei's room. She stood there surprised at the sight for a second. She then noticed a rope swaying in the breeze outside Rei's window and frowned. She quietly closed the door and felt another little kick.

“Okay, I'll get us some breakfast now, but you can't tell Shinji that we are going to have our treat first.” Misato said and headed for the kitchen and cheated even more as she had her treat both before and after breakfast.

At around 8:30am she heard Rei open the window in her room. “Hold it right there young lady” Misato said in a quiet but firm voice outside Rei's room. “March your butt out here right now, and you too Kensuke.” Rei slowly opened her door and Kensuke and she came out of the room, very embarrassed. Misato took out a spare key to the apartment and said “I don't like you climbing up and down ropes, it's dangerous.” She gave the key to Kensuke and added “If you are going to be sneaking in and out use the front door. It's safer. Do you understand?”

They both answered “Yes.” Kensuke then gave Rei a kiss goodbye and left through the front door. After he had left Rei gave Misato a big hug.

“No more unsafe stuff like that again, do I make myself clear?” Misato said during the hug.

“Perfectly” Rei said back and added “You had a real breakfast and not just cookies and syrup, right.”

“Yes” Misato answered back with a little laugh. Rei walked over to the bag of cookies and counted them. She then walked over to the cereal box and gave it a shake. Then she checked the milk and juice in the fridge. Finally she checked the fruit basket and counted the slices of bread.

She looked at Misato and said while tapping her foot “Everything seems to be fine, except we are missing two cookies. But since you gave me a break so will I, and I won't tell Shinji.” They both laughed and sat down at the table. Five minutes later they heard from Asuka's room “We were up all night so if you even think of getting up before ten, I will clobber you.” All was silent in Asuka's room till ten.

 

Little Break

 

Later that week. “I can't believe they made me bribe them” Ritsuko said, but not really seriously.

“They would have done it anyways, it's just that Rei and Asuka thought that would be a great present for Touji.” Misato said back to her.

Maya laughed “I'm sure he will love it, I know Makoto keeps trying to get me to make one for myself.”

“So now that the wedding party is set, the church is booked, and everything is planned, let's talk about the bachelorette party.” Misato said. Both Ritsuko and Maya looked down. “What you are not still scarred from the last one” Misato joked. Ritsuko put her head down on the table.

Maya said quietly “Neither of us have had a drink in a month and found out officially yesterday that it will be some time before we can.”

Misato looked at Ritsuko and said “I'm not surprised at you Maya, but Ritsuko shame, shame, shame.”

Ritsuko said with her head still on the table “There's more.”

Maya continued “We both will be just under two months for the wedding and while I'm not afraid of how much I will be showing, Ritsuko has a different problem.”

“So we just make the wedding dress a little frillier, that's not that big of problem.” Misato said. Ritsuko responded by holding up two fingers.

“Twins” Misato shouted.

Ritsuko raised her head from the table and said “One boy and one girl. We started early because we thought it would take some time, but I guess the motherhood part of me is getting some revenge for me ignoring her for so long. Not only did I get knocked up on our first try, but I also got twins.”

“That's one more than you planned” Misato laughed lightly.

“My plans have been backfiring on me a lot lately, but on this one I am happy they did.” Ritsuko said as a very large smile came over her face.

 

The next Saturday at the restaurant Kensuke went over the rules for the contest. “One plate at a time and all food on the plate must be eaten before you can get another. Every plate must have a mixture of at least four different foods on it, and also only one piece of meat over ten ounces is allowed on a plate at a time.”

“We're ready” Touji and Johnson said together, but Kensuke added one more stipulation.

“Due to threats of severe beatings by Hikari and Michele, this contest will have a one hour time limit.” Both guys looked over at their girlfriends and tried to argue but were quickly shot down by smacks to the back of their heads.

With the rules now settled Kensuke said “On your marks, get set, GO!” and Touji and Johnson took off.

It was hard watching this spectacle as watching a nature documentary on the eating habits of lions had less savagery than this.

After an hour was up Michele and Hikari yanked the plates away and told them not to even think about getting anymore as they had Asuka calculate who had won.

Both Johnson and Touji were leaning back in their chairs with their pants unbuttoned and groaning. They were completely full. They wouldn't have gone back up even if they could have.

After about five minutes of calculations Asuka shouted “NO WAY.” Shinji went over and watched her redo the math and when she got the same numbers they both started laughing.

“Well who won?” Touji asked. Asuka showed the numbers to Michele and Hikari who both rolled their eyes at them. Asuka then walked up behind Touji and Johnson and declared the contest was a tie.

“A TIE” both Johnson and Touji yelled. Asuka showed them the numbers and they both looked at them and agreed that they were right.

Johnson then said “There is only one thing we can do about this. REMATCH!” Touji completely agreed. Both of them then got smacked over the back of their heads once again and the others went and got their food while the two contestants rested their stomachs.

 

When the others were done a smaller group of people headed back to Touji's house for cake and presents, where somehow Touji was able to eat a slice of cake before he opened his presents. Where he put all that food was a mystery to everyone. And after he opened all of his presents Rei and Asuka said they had an announcement.

“We have one more present to give, but it came at a cost.” Rei started.

Asuka then took over “Hikari, Rei, and I are going to be bridesmaids at Ritsuko's wedding and you boys are going to be groomsmen.”

Rei added “The fitting is tomorrow.” Hikari was happy about this but the boys all groaned in unison.

“Don't worry Touji, this gift is definitely worth it.” Asuka told him.

“I don't really see how” he grumbled back. Rei then gave him a Nerv box and told him to open it without letting the others see it.

Touji was nervous at first. If it was from Nerv chances were he wasn't going to like it. He opened the box cautiously and looked at the contents inside oddly. He called Rei and Asuka over. In a quiet voice he said “This is something I never wanted to wear or even see again. And now it's yellow.”

“You doofus it's not for you” Asuka whispered back with Rei adding “Look at the chest area.”

Touji lifted it up slightly, looked, and said “Why would I want a girl's one?”

Asuka whispered “Think very hard. Who is a girl you know who could fit into that and also likes the color yellow.”

Touji's eyes flashed as he realized the obvious answer. “I will never be able to thank you two enough for this” he said and hugged both of them at the same time. He then put the suit back in the box and picked up Hikari and hauled her away to the bathroom.

You could hear her yelling the whole time. “Touji put me down.”

“Where are you taking me?”

“What are you doing?”

“Gimme back my shirt.”

“Hey leave those on.”

“This is not the time or place for this.”

“Gimme back my clothes.”

“What is that?”

“You don't expect me to put it on?”

“Hey stop that.”

“Ha, it's too big and doesn't fit.”

“What do you mean push the button.”

“Okay, okay, I'll push the button.”

“EEP”

“This is tight.”

“Well yeah I like the color.”

“I will not.”

“It's indecent”

“But I don't want to show the others.”

“I don't care if it is your birthday.”

“NO.”

“No.”

“It will be embarrassing.”

“You really think it looks that good.”

“Okay, but just this once.”

 

Touji walked back into his room and said “C'mon Hikari show everyone your pretty yellow plugsuit.” When Hikari walked back into the room she was greeted with catcalls and whistles from the guys. She blushed heavily. Rei and Asuka walked up to her and whispered something in her ear. Hikari smiled at what she was told. She modeled the suit for the guys a little bit and then grabbed Touji and lead him back to the bathroom.

You could hear Touji yelling this time. “You're not taking it off already?”

“You just put it on.”

“Please just let me look for five more minutes.”

“What are you doing with that button?”

“What do you mean tighter?”

“WHOA”

“I will do anything you say”

“Whatever my goddess wants”

Misato whispered to Touji's dad “First chance you get, grab that suit and I will hide it away with the others.” Touji's dad nodded yes. Touji's dad very much liked Hikari and he was kind of hoping she would become his daughter in law some day but that was in the future. The last thing he wanted was to be called Grandpa within the next couple of years and he had come to the same conclusion Misato did. Those suits only purpose now was for sex, sex, and more sex.

At the fitting the next day. “So are the parties going to be at our place again?” Shinji asked Kaji.

“Actually there's not going to be any” Kaji told the boys.

“Why not?” Touji said with a little dissatisfaction.

“I don't know. The girls said something about no drinking, but that's all. Maybe the last party still has them spooked” Kaji answered.

“You guys got pretty wasted” Shinji laughed.

“Don't remind me” Kaji said as he still remembered the pain himself.

“So the girls don't want one, that doesn't mean we can't throw a bachelor party for him” Touji argued.

Kaji replied a little dejectedly “I already tried asking that to Ritsuko's fiancé, but he said if she isn't having one neither is he.”

“That doesn't bother me” Kensuke said smugly.

Touji shot back “That's because you're going out on a date the same night as when the party would be.”

Kaji then spoke in a fatherly tone to Kensuke “Speaking of the date, when can I expect my daughter home Mr. Aida?”

Kensuke answered “Rei and I plan to go out to a nice place for dinner and then go out dancing till early morning. Then we are going to watch the sun rise together. We will probably go out for a long breakfast afterwards. So about noon on Sunday.” Shinji smiled and Touji snickered at his answer, but Kaji just said “I don't care if it is a lie or not. It sounds good to a father's ear so I am going to believe it.”

 

On the other side of the shop. “Okay the girls are all fitted and they can pick up their dresses in a couple of days, now onto you ladies.” The bridal shop attendant said. All three ladies lightly blushed when the attendant said this.

“Um… there may be some complication with us” Maya said and added in a slightly embarrassed tone “More than one of us is pregnant.” Misato whispered something into the attendant's ear.

The attendant responded “Two months is nothing. I hide things like that for maids of honor all the time. And as for you Ms. Katsuragi, how far along will you be at the wedding?” Misato answered eight months but said Maya and she weren't the problem. The girl's jaws hit the floor when they heard this revelation, but the attendant said “Two months for brides isn't a problem either.” Ritsuko proudly held up two fingers.

The attendant looked at her and said “Two months and twins is a problem though. Let me check in back to see if we have anything that might help us out.”

Ritsuko looked at the girls and said with a smile “See what happens when you don't listen to Misato and play safely.”

“And don't you dare get any ideas” Misato added on rather sharply.

All three girls then reaffirmed to her that they had no plans on getting knocked up anytime before they were married.

“And when will that be” Misato said.

“After college” the three girls said in unison.

“Just making sure” Misato added.

Kaji then walked over and said “The guys are done, how's it going over here?” Misato looked at Maya and Ritsuko for their permission and they nodded their heads yes. She whispered something into his ear.

He arched his eyebrow and looked over at Ritsuko “I figured something was up with Maya by the way Makoto was acting, but Ritsuko shame, shame, shame. Only dirty girls do things like that.” He then snickered as he added “Well this does explain why there will be no parties, but just how are you going to explain this to your future mother-in-law?”

“I don't have a clue” Ritsuko said and added “She's still mad at me for replacing her three grandsons with the boys.

“A little controlling is she?” Misato asked.

“I call her Mrs. Pain in the Ass.” Ritsuko laughed.

The attendant walked back in with a beautiful gown and said “I had the unpleasure of meeting her yesterday. All she did was bitch to me about her grandsons not being in the wedding party. It was rather tacky in my opinion. Here this is a very flowy gown, it should work.” Ritsuko took the gown and went into the changing room to tried it on. When she came out she said it was perfect and was very happy. She even started crying a little bit which of course got Misato and Maya crying too. That's when Kaji made his way back to the boys and told them what was going on. He also told them not to go near the girls for a little bit as after a little cry the mood swings tended to turn towards to who was responsible for making them all emotional and pregnant in the first place.

 

Kensuke's birthday party was a small and short one. He got mainly gadgets and accessories for his computer and camera as his presents. After the party was over Rei and he got dressed up and went out on their date. It was very romantic, and they had a elegant dinner and danced to quite a few slow songs before they made their way to the hotel.

 

They did actually see the sun rise together, but that was only because Kensuke opened the room's shades as they recovered from their latest love making session.

“So what should we do next Ke-kun?” Rei asked in a seductive tone. Kensuke just looked at the hot tub in their room to answer her. They made sure that both of them got “Cleaned” a couple of times.

And after both were thoroughly “Cleaned” Kensuke said while relaxing in the hot tub “I did tell Kaji that I was going to take you out for breakfast and the restaurant did just opened downstairs.” Rei slowly got up out of the tub and sauntered over to the table with the complementary fruit basket. She picked up an apple and took a bite. She sauntered back towards the tub and told him to take a bite as well.

After he did she threw the apple away and said “There we had breakfast.” She then switched her seductive tone to a very pouty one as she rubbed her clit right in front of his face. “I am making myself all dirty again. Will you clean me up please?” Kensuke did exactly that until Rei pulled out a ribbed condom. “Now you need to scrub me on the inside.” Those new kinds of condoms that Asuka had given her as a special present were special all right. So special that Rei and Kensuke got a call from the hotel desk about the noise. Rei was not pleased at this call as she liked to yell out in orgasm as much as Kensuke liked to hear her. In a terse way she told the hotel staff that it was their fault that they didn't soundproof the honeymoon suite and they were going to have to live with it. Rei asked “When's checkout?”

“For the honeymoon suite it's 3:00pm.” Kensuke answered.

“Then just tell him we went out for lunch as well” Rei said and added in a very appealing voice “Opps I dropped my towel. I guess I will have to bend way over and pick it up.” The towel didn't get picked up till the cleaning crew came in at 3:30pm.

 

At about 4:00pm Misato, Kaji, Asuka, Shinji, and PenPen were watching TV when they heard the door open. They saw Kensuke carrying Rei, who was asleep in his arms. As he trudged past them on his way to Rei's bedroom he mumbled incoherently something about lunch. He gently laid Rei down on her bed and proceeded to collapse out of sheer exhaustion beside her. Misato called up his dad and explained what had just happened.

He laughed and said “If he ever wakes up, tell him I will see him tomorrow.” Misato never did get to tell him that though and she even had to wake the two up to get ready for school the next day. Rei spent most of that day with red cheeks. She wasn't so embarrassed by what she had just done as she was by the fact she had no voice. Shinji and Kaji totally ignored that fact and said she was just being her normal quiet self so they would have to think about the truth. Both Asuka and Hikari though stared wide-eyed at the computer screen as Rei told them what happened and just how many times it took for her to lose her voice.

 

Little Break

 

On the way home from the rehearsal dinner all the kids, Misato, and Kaji were together in a borrowed Nerv van. “Does Ritsuko's fiancé come from a rich family?” Asuka asked Misato.

“Yes they own a bunch of hotels down in Okinawa.” Misato answered her.

“So why did he become a professor and move up here?” Touji asked.

Kaji answered off the cuff “To get away from his mother.” Misato glared at him for that comment but Kaji said “No seriously he told me that himself.”

Kensuke agreed with that decision “I don't blame him. All she did was bitch about how everything could be better and shoot evil glares at Shinji, Touji, and me.”

Rei added on “And her grandsons are the biggest spoiled brats I have ever met. They all acted like creeps.”

“Where were their parents?” Hikari asked as she had half a mind to tell them how discourteous their boys were.

Misato answered “His older brother was on vacation in France so he sent his two boys, and his older sister is in Hawaii and sent her daughter and son. He doesn't get along with his siblings too well either.”

“So how did he turn out so normal?” Shinji asked.

“His dad's a good guy and he basically raised him by himself.” Kaji answered “He told me he wanted at least one of his kids to turn out decent, and not just a spoiled rich kid.”

“Which one was he?” Touji asked as he didn't really remember ever seeing him.

Kaji told him “The one who looked like a short, fat, bald Fuyutsuki. Although he was hard to find as he was hiding from his wife for much of the night.”

“I didn't see him either.” Misato said and added “Has he told his wife that her son is taking Ritsuko's surname and that Ritsuko is pregnant with twins already?”

Kaji laughed while answering “No, but he said he wanted to be around when she found out.”

 

Ritsuko's wedding the next day went smoothly until the end when the priest announced the couple as Mr. and Mrs. Akagi. Ritsuko's mother-in-law's jaw hit the floor and she started to argue, but both the groom and his father told her to shut up. This actually made Ritsuko even happier. The reception though didn't go nearly as well and most people would have described it as a total disaster. The mother-in-law constantly bitched but no one would listen to her causing her to get madder and madder. Her granddaughter made her presence felt as she was bitching as well. Except she was bitching about how she would have made a prettier bridesmaid than the others. When no one agreed with her it just made her worse. Actually Ritsuko, Maya, Misato, and their husbands were at the front table enjoying the show as it was a lot better than any of the soap operas they had watched.

 

Kaji looked out into to the reception area and said “This is about to get very interesting” and pointed out the three grandsons who were now walking up to the girls. The girls themselves were having a good time chatting to each other.

Ritsuko's husband said “I overheard them bragging about how they were going to score with the bridesmaids earlier, but I didn't say anything. I would rather they learn the hard way.” He started laughing at the end along with the others.

Maya spoke up as she noticed that Touji, Kensuke, and Shinji were now heading for the three grandsons who were greatly annoying their girlfriends. “I'm not worried about Touji, but what about Shinji and Kensuke.”

“Don't be” Misato said and pointed out “Asuka and Rei have been working with them in the martial arts and they are both very good students.”

“How good are they?” Ritsuko's husband asked.

“Good enough to always end up on their backs with the girls right on top of them at the end of every session.” Misato said sarcastically.

“Then this should be good” Ritsuko's husband said.

 

The fight didn't last long as it was apparent the three grandsons never stood a chance. The granddaughter even tried to step in to help but the three girls grabbed her, picked her up, and dunked her head into the punch bowl. Asuka then warned her to stay out of it or she would pop her obviously fake boobs. The granddaughter scurried over to her grandmother who was calling the cops. After the boys had had enough fun they let the grandsons scurry over to their grandmother as well. After the little scuffle the kids joined the others at the head table, all of who were laughing hysterically.

The mother-in-law stormed up to the table and said “I just called the cops and the chief is coming over personally. I will see those six ingrates put in jail.” They all just rolled their eyes at her in response making her even madder. She then stormed off back towards her grandchildren.

When her back was turned Makoto said to the two newlyweds “She has no idea that all the cops in Tokyo-3 are ex-Nerv security guards and officers, does she?”

“Nope” Ritsuko said with great satisfaction.

 

Fifteen minutes later the chief of police showed up with five other officers and headed towards the head table. The mother-in-law had a wicked smile but it soon disappeared as she saw the police congratulating the new couple and chatting with everyone at the table.

The mother-in-law stormed back towards the table and yelled “What is going on? I want these six ingrates arrested.”

The police chief yelled back to her “Shut up or I will arrest your bratty grandkids for starting this and you for being a bitch” he then turned back to his previous conversation and asked “How did Johnson not handle this?”

“His girlfriend dragged him to their room an hour ago” Rei said causing the rest to laugh. The mother-in-law slinked back to her grandchildren confused.

Her husband, who had watched the whole altercation from the bar, came up to them and revealed some things he knew about his new daughter in law and her friends. “I never did tell you who your new daughter-in-law was and works for did I?” She just stared at him so he continued “Well it's about time you learned what you're dealing with. Ritsuko is the head of medical and technology for Nerv. Maya and Makoto, who are married and expecting, work on the main bridge staff for Nerv. Kaji is the head of Personal Security at Nerv and that pretty lady who is eight months pregnant is his wife and Commander Katsuragi, head of Nerv.” He let this sink in for a second before he continued. “It gets even better. Shinji and Asuka, who are a couple, were both Eva pilots. Rei was also a Eva pilot and is dating Kensuke, easily one of the best computer gurus I have ever meet. Touji is Shinji and Kensuke's best friend and also someone our son's university is desperately trying to get to sign a scholarship to play baseball for. He is dating Hikari, who our son's university has also offered a scholarship to because she is a great class rep, gets straight A's, and has more potential in her little pinky than our four spoiled brat grandchildren have put together. Plus she is Asuka's and Rei's best friend.” He stopped to let that sink in as well. “Finally, Ritsuko is two months pregnant with twins and the closest you're going to get to them is pictures.” Then with his drink in his hand he walked off to the head table to join his son and new daughter. The mother-in-law and her grandkids slinked off to their rooms full of fear and embarrassment. After the reception was over everyone headed towards their rooms for some much deserved rest and some fun.

 

Little Break

 

Ritsuko and her husband went on a two week honeymoon and when she got back she ordered, as head doctor at Nerv, Misato to bed rest until she had her kid. Kaji actually took off too, as he wanted to make sure everything was all right and Misato had anything she wanted. As Misato got closer and closer to her due date she thought up a plan in her head. She called up Kensuke's, Touji's, and Hikari's dads and told them her plan. They all agreed as they were sure that this was something each of the kids would absolutely “Love.” (A/N: Notice the quotation marks.)

 

“So how close is Misato now?” Hikari asked Asuka and Rei.

“The doctor figured about one week away” Asuka answered.

“I hope so, I don't know if I can stand it much longer.” Rei said.

“Is Misato really demanding and hormonal?” Hikari questioned her, as last time she saw Misato she appeared to be acting pretty normal.

“Misato's fine, actually she's bored of lying around all day and not being allowed to do anything. It's Kaji and Shinji who are driving me up the wall.” Rei said and added “For the last couple weeks they have been so nervous and twitchy you'd think they were the ones who were pregnant.” Asuka growled in frustration at this comment and Rei started laughing at her.

“It's not funny” Asuka said in a frustrated voice. Hikari just looked at Asuka and it dawned on her.

“Is he really that nervous?” she asked surprised.

“YES” Asuka growled and added “It's been over two weeks, and as nice as it is to see how much Shinji cares, I am about to strangle him.”

“I find it hard to believe he can resist you” Hikari said.

“Normally he can't.” Asuka bragged “It's just that were never alone. With both Kaji and Misato around all the time we have no privacy. And every time he hears Misato even move, Kaji and him go running to see if she is alright.” Asuka said with even greater frustration as she thought about her predicament. She really wanted some loving but there just wasn't the opportunity.

Rei got an idea though “You know Asuka, I might know how you two could be alone.”

“How?” Asuka said excitedly. Rei whispered something to Hikari.

Hikari then stood up and ordered “For reasons I will have to think up later, you two are given the punishment of having to clean the room after class.” She gave Asuka the room key and told her to make sure she locked the door. They then saw Touji and Kensuke drag Shinji down the hill.

“You take him” Touji yelled with Kensuke adding “He is driving us nuts.” Asuka took her cell phone out of her pocket and let him call home to make sure everything was alright.

 

Near the end of class Shinji was fidgety as he wanted to get home to check up on Misato. Asuka was fidgety as well, but for a whole different reason. When the class bell rang and they were dismissed Asuka pushed Shinji back into his seat. “We have to clean the room Shin-Shin.”

“But it's not our turn” Shinji exclaimed.

“It is now” Asuka said as she winked a thank you to Hikari, as she was the last student to leave.

Asuka locked the door behind Hikari but Shinji didn't even notice the door locking as he had already started cleaning in an effort to get done quicker. Asuka pulled all the shades, so no one could see in the room. She then turned off all the lights except for one row.

“Turn the lights back on Asuka. It is hard to clean with them almost all off” Shinji said with his back turned to her.

Asuka answered him by taking off all her clothes and walked up behind him. She then turned him around so he could see her. She took his hand gently and started to use it to rub herself. She had greatly missed waking up to that feeling.

She said while starting to breath harder “Misato's perfectly fine, but I'm not. I have a problem and there are five condoms in my backpack. I think they are part of the solution to my problem and what I am doing with your hand is making me lose control. Most importantly though we are alone and won't be interrupted.”

Shinji got the message very clearly and from how wet Asuka already was he realized he had been neglecting her and must now apologize to her many times to make up for his mistake. He took off his clothes and made a little bed out of their clothes on the floor. He grabbed her backpack and took out the condoms, and with a pen wrote `I'm Sorry' on each package.

“I owe you five apologies” he said to her and sucked off each finger Asuka was using to keep herself ready while he prepared. He laid her down on the makeshift bed using her backpack as a pillow for her.

“Here is apology number one” Shinji said softly as he opened the first condom, put it on, and entered a very ready Asuka. She let out a moan immediately upon his entry. Shinji looked directly into her eyes and speed up to the pace he learned she loved the most. As she stared back into his eyes she could feel herself already very close. It had been way too long for the both of them and Asuka's body was reacting to every thrust he made inside of her. She took one look at them and started laughing.

“Shouldn't you be in bed.” Shinji admonished.

“I got sick and tired of laying in bed, so I sent your father out for fudge ripple ice cream, strawberry syrup, and pickles.” Misato said when she was finally able to stop laughing.

Rei came over to see what was so funny and as she looked at Asuka and Shinji she asked “What happened to your clothes?”

“They learned a lesson” Misato said and started laughing at them again. When she was able to stop again she told them to get cleaned up and eat something before they went to bed.

 

Little Break

 

Later that week during lunch the girls were talking about Misato again. “Misato is really close to having her kid” Hikari said to Asuka as she remembered what her visit with her was like yesterday.

“The doctors said she still has four days, but she doesn't believe them” Asuka said, wondering if the doctors or Misato was right. The boys came down the hill and joined them.

“Talking about Misato too?” Shinji asked.

“Yup” Rei said with Kensuke adding “She was a little testy yesterday.”

“That's putting it lightly” Asuka responded and added “I counted at least five death threats against Kaji yesterday.”

“She even threatened me once” Shinji said.

Rei laughed at him “It's your own fault. I can't believe you told her no to an extra treat.”

Kensuke said while laughing as well “I truly thought she was going to kill you.”

“What happened?” Touji asked.

Rei answered “Shinji wimped out and brought her the whole bag of cookies and the container of syrup.”

“You would of too.” Shinji boldly stated trying to defend himself.

Asuka pointed out “None of us would have been dumb enough to tell her no in the first place.” Shinji just sat there and said nothing. Even when he thought back upon it he realized that it was a really stupid thing to do. The other kids teased him a little more about it and then the conversation turned to whether it would be a girl or boy, and when it would come. This of course led to a bet and they set up a chart. They even called the Nerv staff to let them in on it. The more people involved, the more money could be won.

 

After school they all decided to go over to the apartment together to visit with Misato again and see how she was doing. When they were talking to her she mentioned a little birdie told her about the bet and she wanted in. At first they told her no because she had too much inside information, but she said since the bet was about her and her child she could bend the rules. This unfortunately did make sense to them and it was only fair considering what she was going thru, so she too was able to get in on the bet. Hikari was very happy when she noticed what date Misato had picked.

 

The next morning at 8:30 am Misato was in her bed with Kaji, sleeping. She woke up quickly with a feeling. She then shook Kaji “Kaji wake up, I think I am going into labor.” This caused Kaji to wake up with a start. He started running around scrambling for everything they would need and started panicking when he couldn't find anything. Everything they had planned to bring had mysteriously disappeared.

Misato pointed out to him during his frantic search “Everything we need has already been packed into the car.”

“My keys, where are my keys?” he shouted as he didn't see them on his nightstand.

“In your pants pocket” Misato said.

“Where are my pants?” Kaji then yelled.

“You're wearing them” Misato said getting a little impatient with his panicking. She then asked smugly “Are you going to help me get up and to the car anytime soon? Or am I going to have this baby while lying here in bed.”

That comment caught Kaji and he regained his composure and helped her up and out to the car. Along the way Misato told him to slow down as she was pretty sure that they weren't in any hurry. She just had a feeling that this was not going to go quickly. She also called Johnson and told him to go get the kids.

 

The super intendant of the school saw a Nerv van pull up into the parking lot. “What the hell do they want now?” he complained, but when he saw Johnson step out of the van he told his secretary he was out and dove under his desk.

Luckily for him Johnson made his way straight to the kid's classroom. “C'mon kids it's time. I've got a van waiting in the parking lot.” Shinji, Asuka, and Rei jumped up out of their seats and raced out of the room towards the parking lot. Johnson though just stood there. “Well what are you three waiting for? Get going” he said looking at Kensuke, Touji, and Hikari. The three stared at him with confusion.

Hikari asked “Why?”

Johnson ordered “Because your fathers said so, now hurry up”

Hikari, Touji, and Kensuke then got up and headed for then van as well not really knowing why.

While in the van he told the kids to settle down as Shinji, Asuka, and Rei were telling him to speed up, and Kensuke, Touji, and Hikari were asking what was going on.

Johnson answered both of them at the same time “Misato told me there is no rush and that Misato and your fathers all agreed you should be present for this glorious event.” The kids all looked at each other and instantly knew by the way Johnson said that this was another of Misato's oh so subtle plans. Johnson checked his rear view mirror and could see all the kids were now on the same page. He smiled and said “Get ready for the literal mother of all sex lectures.” There was a collective “NOOOO” heard in the van.

 

At the hospital the obstetrician came in and said “You were right, according to the test results you still have some time.” Misato thanked her for confirming what she had already felt. The obstetrician then left but told her she would be back every 30 minutes to check up on her. Misato let out a little laugh as she looked around.

Ritsuko looked at her strangely and said “Most women don't laugh when they are informed they are going to be having a long labor period.”

Misato responded “Look around Ritsuko, what did this delivery room used to be?”

Ritsuko looked for a second and noticed what Misato was alluding to “This used to be your old office.”

Misato said “How many kids now days can say they were born in the same spot that they were conceived in.” Ritsuko started laughing at the irony of that.

Kaji then called up to the room. “The kids just arrived, I will bring them up.”

“So how much are they going to see?” Ritsuko asked.

Misato answered “The girls are going to see everything. They are old enough and ready to learn the truth so I have instructed the obstetrician to explain everything that is happening to me, and when I deliver they will be at the foot of my bed to see it all. The boys, well they will get a slight reprieve as they will still be in the room, but they will be around the head area of my bed. No sense in scarring them for life anymore than they have been.”

Kaji then showed up with the kids. They all noticed six plush chairs with their names on them sitting there waiting for them. For the next two hours Misato had doctors come in and explain what was going to be happening in very graphic detail. Then for the next two hours she had invited some of the Nerv employees who had just had babies to come in and explain the changes in their family life. The rest of the time it was just the kids, Misato, and Kaji. As the hours passed Misato's contractions were getting more frequent. By the 10th hour of labor the kids, along with Misato and Kaji, were getting a very real education as Misato and the obstetrician had decided on no drugs. At the 11th hour things were very hectic. There was a lot of screaming, a lot of yelling, a lot of pain, and a lot of squeamishness as certain teenage girls were having trouble seeing something that big come out of a certain body part that seemed way too small for the task. It was a rather eye opening event for every one.

 

At 8:17pm on July 1 Misato gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

 

When Kaji cutting the umbilical cord and the afterbirth were done, the kids returned to their seats. They were all left pretty much speechless as the experience was overwhelming to say the least.

 

The doctor did a quick checkup to make sure everything was okay, and she wrapped the baby girl in a pink blanket and gave her to Misato. Kaji then gave his wife and new daughter each a kiss on their heads. The doctor then put an IV drip into Misato as a precautionary measure.

After a little while she called the kids over so they could see her child as well. While they all looked at the newborn in Misato's arms she told them the name Kaji and her had decided on. Mikomi. She then let the girls take turns holding little Mikomi. They were very nervous about it at first but the doctor showed them how to do it properly and each got the hang of it. A little bit later Misato was holding her newborn again and it was time for the baby's first meal. Misato chose the natural method and laughed a little when the boys quickly left the room as she started. The girls found this funny too.

Kaji got up and told her he would go talk to them and he walked out to the waiting room and sat down with them. “So do you now understand why we always stress safety?” he said to them. All three boys shook their heads yes.

Kaji then told them “I know someday you guys will be in the same position as me and we just wanted to make sure that you understood the whole process. And also that you and your intendeds wait till the right time.” After he said that the three all nodded their head in agreement as they all knew they were not ready for anything remotely close to that. They then asked Kaji some questions they had and he did his best to answer them. At the end of their conversation he kidded “You better get used to the breast feeding, that is what Misato has decided on.” He laughed a little as he saw them shudder as he knew that none of them viewed Misato in their old ways, and that not only Shinji viewed Misato as mom but Kensuke and Touji saw her as a surrogate mother as well. And no boy wants to see his mother breast-feeding a baby.

 

A little while later the boys re-entered Misato's room. “Where's Kaji?” Misato asked.

Kensuke answered “Johnson and some of the Nerv guys came up to celebrate with cigars, but Ritsuko chewed them out for even thinking of lighting those up in a maternity ward. Then Maya and her chased them outside.”

Misato laughed “I wondered what all that yelling was about.”

When Kaji came back in Ritsuko followed him and said it was time for sleep. She was going to shoo off the children but she noticed they had all fallen asleep in the chairs and Misato told her they could stay for the night.

 

A couple hours later Misato awoke and saw everyone asleep, except Asuka and Shinji. She saw Asuka gently cradling a sleeping Mikomi while Shinji held her. They were both gazing down at Mikomi and Misato knew that both of them were seeing into their future. She sat up and with pleading eyes held up five fingers. Both Asuka and Shinji looked at her and gazed back down at Mikomi. After making Misato worry and sweat for a minute the two looked back up and nodded yes. Misato laid back down knowing that she had at least five more years before she would become a grandmother. She then fell back asleep knowing that right now her child was in loving hands.

 

A half hour later she woke back up as she could hear slight movement. She looked over and saw Asuka still holding Mikomi, but that Shinji had fallen asleep holding them. Misato quietly got up and walked over to Asuka.

“I think she is hungry” Asuka said softly to Misato and gently handed Mikomi to her.

Misato kissed Asuka on the head and said quietly “Thank you.” She then returned to her bed with Mikomi to feed her. When she looked back over she saw Asuka had already snuggled closer to Shinji and had fallen asleep in his embrace.

She looked down at her feeding child and said softly “Love is something you will never have to worry about.” Misato then quietly hummed a gentle lullaby to her new child while she fed her lovingly.
