Part 5

 

Kozo stood there and waited for someone to explain to him why the sync test had not yet started and when he saw the slightly fearful look on everyone's faces he knew something was up.

" Well I'm waiting for an answer. " he said and watched as everyone just held there place with a shocked look on there faces.

" Um well sir the reason we're running late is because I have decided to try something new with the children's sync tests and I was about to explain it to them when you walked in. " Ritsuko said with a slightly nervous tic in her right eye as a few beads of sweat appeared on her forehead as everyone looked at her, to say Ritsuko was under a high peruser situation was an understatement of the highest order.

 

Kozo noticed that Ritsuko looked like she was on the verge of hyperventilating as everyone was looking at her with a clueless look on there faces.

" And just what changes are you planing to make doctor? " Kozo said for he damn well knew that something was going on and everyone was in on it, " Um image and relaxation training. " Ritsuko said as her right eye twitched like a grasshopper on speed.

* What a crock of shit! * Kozo thought to himself and he began to get slightly annoyed by the fact that everyone was trying to take him for a fool with that load of horse shit and with a mental sigh Kozo realized it was up to him yet again to save there asses and he decided that the answer to the commander's question was going to be a matter of a technical fault and decided to whip there asses into shape.

" Very well but in the future be sure to explain such things to the children before the sync test, well get to work! " Kozo said in a slightly pissed off tone of voice and left them to make his report to the commander,

* For once I wish these people would give me a straight answer one of these days. * Kozo thought to himself and he knew it was going to be a bad day for him and everyone else.

 

Three minutes after the sub commander left Misato snapped out of her shock and told the children to get to there entery plugs and from the deadly and pissed off look on her face they knew that they had better get there shit together and they quickly made there way to the entry plugs.

 

" That was close, good thinking there, I hope the sub commander brought it. " Misato said as Ritsuko typed a few commands into the computer that Maya was sitting at and when Maya looked at Ritsuko and saw that she had her attention, she winked at her with a saucy smile on her face and giggled slight as she saw Ritsuko blush slightly.

" I don't think the sub commander brought my story about the delay in the test, you can be sure that we're going to get some flack over this. " Ritsuko said as she looked at the read out of the children's sync ratio.

Misato shrugged her shoulders and did her best to relax as she began to think of a way to deal with the children because they where getting out of hand and she had to find why and fast.

 

" Ok your looking good so far. " Ritsuko said into the microphone as she looked at the holographic pictures of the children and she took a moment to study there faces.

Shinji was sitting in his entry plug with his eyes closed and he had a relaxed look on his face, Ritsuko looked at Shinji's sync rate and saw that it was at 34.5% and was rising, Ritsuko looked at Gwen and saw that she was doing her best to relax and sync with the mock entery plug and her sync rate was 28.6% and was on the rise as well.

" Looking good Gwen. " Ritsuko said into the microphone and watched as Gwen smiled slightly at her words, Ritsuko then looked over to Drake and saw that he had his eye closed and his face was a mask of consecration and his sync rate was 31.9% and was climbing, Ritsuko looked at Rei and for a moment she was unsure about Rei for there was something about the way she was sitting in the mock entry plug where her eyes closed that just screamed that something was amiss even though her face betrayed nothing.

 

Ritsuko looked at Rei's sync rate and saw that it was at 23.5% and rising but she could also see that there was some feedback from Rei and from the wave form of the feedback Ritsuko could tell that this feedback was caused by a slight chemical imbalance in Rei's brian and Ritsuko began to record the readings, " What do you think is causing this feedback sempi? " Maya asked as both she and Ritsuko watched the feedback for a few minutes.

 

Ritsuko smiled to herself for she had a feeling that the cause of this chemical imbalance as caused by prolonged emotional turmoil, * Looks like Rei has finally come out of her shell. * Ritsuko thought to herself and she knew that the commander was going to have a fit over this as she watched Rei's sync rate reach 53.9% and remain there and that low number told Ritsuko that Rei's sync rate was starting to crumble due to her emotional problems.

When Maya got no answer she looked up at Ritsuko and saw a grave look on her face and she became concerned, " Sempi what's going on with Rei? " Maya asked because she knew from the feedback pattern

in Rei's sync graph and Rei's low sync rate that there was something amiss with Rei and from the grave look on Ritsuko's face Maya knew something bad was happening Rei even though she did not have a clue as to what was wrong with Rei.

 

Ritsuko looked at Maya with a calm but slightly troubled look on her face, " Maya continue with the test you're in charge here I need to talk to Misato so keep things running smoothly while I'm gone. " Ritsuko said then turned and walked over to where Misato was standing and when Misato saw the slightly stern look on Ritsuko's face Misato got angry for she was sure that Ritsuko was going to chew her ass off over the way the kids have been behaving, " Misato let's get a coffee I need to talk to you. " Ritsuko said and from her tone of voice Misato knew that Ritsuko was going to ride her ass hard and Misato bit her lip and spoke to Ritsuko, " Ok I need to talk to you anyways. " she said and the two of them left the control room.

 

As they where walking down the hall way to the cafeteria to get some fresh coffee there was an air of tension between the two women as they walked, Ritsuko looked at Misato and saw that she was on guard and realized that Misato thought that she was going to chew her ass off over the way the children had been behaving in the control room and for a moment Ritsuko was unsure as to how she would talk to Misato about the children, sure she was mad at the way Misato was raising the kids but she also realized that Misato had no clue as to how to take care of the children and from the fact that Misato looked like she was at her wit's end so Ritsuko decided to go easy on Misato.

 

" Misato are you having trouble with the children? " Ritsuko asked with a calm but questioning tone of voice that told Misato that she was going to be spared an ass chewing by Ritsuko as they reached the cafeteria.

Misato let out an exasperated groan, " Rits I have no idea on what is going on with the children, it's like they all decided to go nuts at once. " Misato said as they got there coffee and began to look for a table to sit at, Ritsuko could see that Misato was indeed at her wit's end with the children and decided to fish for some info about the children.

" How do you mean? " Ritsuko asked as they sat down at a table at the back of the cafeteria and thankfully no one was in the cafeteria save for the cafeteria staff, " I have no idea as to what to do with the children, I mean Shinji is acting so weird for I have never seen him stand up for himself, I mean I'm glad that he is but there's something going on between him and Asuka and I'll be damned if I can get them to talk to me about it. " Misato said as she sipped her coffee and let out a slight sigh as the coffee worked it's way into her system.

 

Ritsuko knew why Shinji was acting the way he was and for a moment she thought about telling Misato about Shinji's THC therapy but something in the back of her mind told her that it would be a good idea to keep that to herself for she was sure that Misato was so close to the edge and that dropping that bombshell on her would send her over the edge, " The only sane one of the bunch seems to be Gwen but I have noticed that there's something bothering her but I have no idea on how to approach her, not without spooking so badly that she would just clam up on me. " Misato said and Ritsuko sat there with a nonplused look as Misato continued to her outpouring.

 

" As for Asuka, Christ I don't what to make of her, one moment she's calm and cool then the next minute she's having a fit and starting to get on everyone's case but when ever she's around Shinji she just dummys up and then after Shinji's gone she on a hair trigger and the slightest thing will set her off. " Misato said as she and Ritsuko took a healthy swig of there hot coffee and Ritsuko could not help but smile to herself since she knew that Asuka was so wound up over Shinji's change in attitude and the fact that Shinji had worked up the balls to tell her how he felt about her had Asuka in a state of not knowing if she was coming or going and Ritsuko felt a stab of pity for Misato.

 

"Have you noticed anything about Rei? " Ritsuko asked for she was interested to hear what Misato had to say about Rei for she was eager to find out the reason why Rei was about ready to wipe the walls with Asuka.

Misato just shook her head with a slightly wistful look on her face, " Rei, well you'll never believe this Rei is in love with Drake and she has no idea on how to respond to Drake's advances but after talking to her about it I can tell you she has it bad for Drake. " Ritsuko felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end because she knew that if Gendo found out about this things would get very ugly for Rei and the children.

 

" Are you sure about this? " Ritsuko asked and watched as Misato gave her a funny look, " Ritsuko you saw how Rei jumped to Drake's defense in the control room so do you really need to ask such a dumb ass question like that. " Misato said and Ritsuko had to admit to herself that Misato was right on that matter.

" As for Drake he and Shinji are getting along just fine, in fact it's safe to say that the two of them have formed a friendship between them, as for how Drake feels about Rei I can tell you that he loves her very much but he's still unsure as how to deal with his feelings for Rei. " Misato said and when she looked over at Ritsuko Misato could see that her friend had a slightly troubled look on her face.

 

" Go on I want to hear more about this. " Ritsuko said as she nursed her coffee and waited for Misato to resume speaking.

" Well I mean the two of them are hanging around together, Drake and Rei are playing video games together which was a surprise to me for I never thought Rei was the type of person to play video games. " Misato said as she took a sip of her coffee then continued speaking, " It seems to me that Rei and Drake are having some kind of competition between them when they play their video games together, I mean the last time they where playing together in the games room at home I went to see what they where both up to and when I saw them playing together they both had a strange look in there eyes, it was like they where competing to see who was the better video game player between them. "

Ritsuko openly smiled at that bit of news because she had a feeling that both Rei and Drake have such strong wills that they would naturally end up in a battle of wills and Ritsuko found herself becoming interested in the nature of Drake and Rei's relationship.

 

" Well there you have it, I mean I have no idea on what to do with them, I want to help them but I can't get them to open up to me so what am I going to do Ritsuko? " Misato said as she finished off her coffee.

Ritsuko gave Misato a friendly smile, " Don't worry about Shinji, I'll try and get him to talk to you about what's going on with him ok? " she said to Misato who had a hopeful look on her face, " You will?, thanks Ritsuko your a lifesaver, Shinji is the one I worry about the most, he's been though so much that it's a wonder that he hasn't had a nervous brake down by now. " Misato said as the two women got up from there table to return there mugs to the cafeteria workers to wash up and then started back towards the control room.

 

When Ritsuko and Misato entered the control room they saw Maya looking at the children sync rates and she had a slightly troubled look on her face, " What's wrong Maya? " Ritsuko said as she and Misato walked over to where Maya was sitting and took a look at her computer screen.

" Well Shinji's sync rate is up five points giving him a 55.6% sync rate, Drake's sync rate is up by a point giving him a sync rate of 49.8%, Gwen sync rate is down by a point and she's holding steady at 41.0% Asuka's sync rate has dropped by six points giving her a sync rate of 47.9% and Rei is barely hanging in there with a sync rate of 32.2%. " Maya said and looked up at Misato and Ritsuko's faces and saw the grave looks on there faces.

" Ok that's enough for today. " Ritsuko said into the microphone, " You can get out now, Shinji when your done I want to see you in my office. " Ritsuko added and watched as Asuka muttered something, Rei was already have way out of her entry plug, Gwen breathed a sigh of relief and began to exit her entry plug, Shinji gave Ritsuko a warm smile for a few minutes then he to began to exit his entry plug, Drake was already out of his entry plug by the time Ritsuko looked over at the holographic display of his entry plug.

 

Misato walked over to where the children where standing and called Rei over to her and just in the nick of time between both Rei and Asuka had been standing nose to nose ready to pick up where they left off before the sync test and Misato knew she had to do something and something fast before the situation between Asuka and Rei escalated into a full blown brawl.

" OK YOU TWO THAT'S ENOUGH! " Misato shouted and with a final glare between them Rei walked over to Misato while Gwen and Asuka made there way to the girl's shower/locker room, Drake had already made his way to the boy's shower/locker room and missed out on the near fight between then Rei and Asuka.

 

" What do you want Misato? " Rei asked as she stood before Misato who had a calm look on her face but when Rei looked into Misato's eyes she could see that Misato was deeply troubled by something and this made Rei feel funny.

" Rei what you did in the control room was inexcusable, I know you care about Drake but you went to far back there, besides Drake is a big boy and he can look after himself. " Misato said and watched as Rei gave her a nonplused look but when she looked into Rei's eyes she could see such hate in her eyes that she felt her blood run cold, " Asuka had no right to say though things about Drake-kun and I am sick and tried of her piss poor attitude but what really pissed me off was that the bitch had dared to give Drake a hassle, who the hell does that cunt think she is, Drake had done nothing to warrant such a response and I will not stand back and let that slut cause trouble for Drake! " Rei said with such a cold, hard tone of voice with her trade mark deadpan face that gave Misato the willies.

 

" Rei I will not have you fighting Asuka and that's final! " Misato said with a hard tone of voice that seemed to do nothing to Rei, " Fuck you! " Rei said as she flipped Misato the bird and then turned and walked away from a very shocked Misato who's face faulted so hard that one could have sworn that Misato's lower jaw dropped so hard that it almost went though the floor of the control room and Maya, Makoto and Shigeru just sat there with stunned looks on there faces.

 

" FUCK! " Misato said as she came out of her shocked state and knew that the shit was going to hit the fan big time.

 

Shinji was sitting in Ritsuko's office taking toke off of a freshly lit joint and he could see from the serious look on Ritsuko's face that something was big was up or so he thought.

" Shinji I need to talk to Misato, she's becoming so concerned over you and the other children that she's at her wit's end because nobody will talk to her. " Ritsuko said as she took the joint from Shinji and took a long haul off it, Shinji could see that Ritsuko was being serious and he thought about what she had said and realized that she was right, he had been ignoring Misato who was no doubt confused by the changes in him and Shinji knew that he would have to have a long talk with Misato when they got home.

 

But before either of them could say a word there was a knock on the office door.

" Who is it? " Ritsuko called out as she walked over to the door, " It's Rei Dr.Akgai " and Ritsuko opened the door to her office and stuck her head out the door and saw Rei standing at the door with a slightly pissed off look on her face.

" I'm very busy with Shinji so come back later! " Ritsuko said for she did not want Rei to find out that she and Shinji where getting high, " I need a birth control implant! " Rei said with a cold tone of voice that did not go over well with Ritsuko, " Look Rei you don't need one you know that! " Ritsuko said with an exasperated tone of voice that did nothing to phase Rei.

" I need one because Misato will not let me have sex without one! " Rei said with a forceful tone of voice that grated on Ritsuko's nerves.

" Fine I'll give you one tomorrow now go! " Ritsuko said and slammed the office door close in Rei's face.

" Bitch! " Rei said and stormed off to meet up with the others.

 

" Who was that? " Shinji asked as he handed the joint back to Ritsuko, " Some dumb ass from the project I'm working on and he was bothering me with some nonsense that I did not want to hear about so I sent him packing. " Ritsuko said as she took a toke off the joint and watched as Shinji smiled at her with a big goofy grin, " Remind me not to piss you off. " Shinji said with a chuckle that made Ritsuko smile as she snapped out of her bad mood and the two of them sat there and continued to smoke the joint between them.

 

Misato was making her way back to the motor pool when she ran into Drake, " Drake I'm glad to see you, I need to talk to you. " Misato said and watched as Drake gave her an easy going smile, " Sure what's on your mind? " Drake asked as they continued to make there way to the motor pool.

Misato said a quick thank you to whatever god was willing to listen that Drake was going to take to the time to hear her out.

" Drake I need to talk to you about Rei, just now I was talking to her and we got into a fight about the way she and Asuka where acting in the control room before the sync test and she told me to fuck off as she flipped me the finger, I'm not happy about that but I know Rei is under some kind of stress an- " Misato was saying but Drake held up a hand as he came to a stop and looked at Misato.

" So I take it you want me to find out what's got Rei all worked up and maybe try to get her to relax? " Drake asked and watched as Misato smiled at him, " Basically that's what I want you to do. " Misato said with a hopeful tone of voice as she watched Drake smile at her.

" Sure no problem, besides I hate seeing Rei all bent out of shape, I'll see what I can do ok? " Drake said as they resumed walking to the motor pool, " Thanks Drake I really need your help with Rei because I don't know what to do about her. " Misato said as they reached the motor pool and saw Gwen and Asuka waiting for them.

 

Drake and Misato looked at the two girls and they both saw that Asuka was pissed off and Gwen was slightly worried and Misato decided it was time to take the bull by the horns and deal with Asuka as firmly as she could.

" Asuka don't say a word! " Misato said as she gave Asuka a cold look that made Asuka stand there with a questioning look on her face as Misato continued to speak to her with an equally cold tone of voice, " What you and Rei did in the control room was unacceptable, I will not have you and her fighting, UNDERSTAND!" Misato added and watched as Asuka was about to say something but she cut her off.

" I told Rei that there will be no fighting between you two and I will do everything I can to stop you two from fighting and take my word for it I will make sure that you two behave yourselves! " Misato said and Asuka felt her anger boil over.

" FUCK YOU MISATO!, I DIDN'T START THAT SHIT WITH WONDERSLUT AND I WILL NOT PUT UP WITH HER BULLSHIT! " Asuka said and watched as Misato's right eyebrow twitched and Misato snapped.

 

Misato grabbed Asuka by the arms and pulled her over her knees as she sat on the ground of the motor pool with her knees in the air and then she reached over pulled Asuka's skirt up, then pulled down her pink panties and began to spank Asuka's ass as hard as she could just as Rei and Shinji walked into the motor pool.

Asuka felt her world crumble around her as she looked at everyone's face starting with Rei and saw the look of savage enjoyment on her face and Asuka felt shame at being manhandled like a bratty child as Misato kept up with the punishing blows and words, " I'M SICK OF YOU ACTING LIKE A SPOILED BRAT, THIS IS WHAT HAPPINESS TO BRATS YOU ARROGANT BITCH! " Misato howled and Asuka looked over to Gwen and saw the horrified look on her face and she felt even more shame at having one of her most trusted friends bare witness to the humiliating sight of her being trussed up and so exposed.

 

When Asuka looked at Drake she saw that he had a cold look in his eyes and her shame grew began her cherry red ass was on display for any boy to leer at as Misato continued to rain down blow after blow at lighting speed with a look of gay abandon on her face as the tears flowed from her eyes.

" SHIT! " Drake said as he let of Rei and ran over to try and pry Shinji off of Misato who's face was starting to turn blue, " SHINJI STAND THE FUCK DOWN!, GOD DAMN IT BACK THE FUCK OFF! " Drake yelled as he used every ounce of strength to try and brake Shinji's death grip around Misato's throat as Misato began gasp for breath.

 

* FUCK IT! * Drake though to himself and quickly let go of Shinji hands and drew his right hand up into a fist and struck Shinji at the base of the skull where the spinal cord met the brain knocking Shinji out cold, Drake quickly grabbed Shinji as he started to fall over and quickly laid him down on the floor of the motor pool then he quickly dropped to his knees beside a gasping Misato and quickly checked her throat to make sure Shinji hadn't crushed it and when he saw that Misato's throat was a deep purple and from her raspy breathing Drake got the feeling that Misato was in trouble and he quickly got to his feet and looked at Rei and Gwen.

" Just don't stand there, give me a hand here! " Drake said in his most commanding voice as he looked at them with such a hard look in his eyes that both Gwen and Rei felt compelled to obey him and quickly made there way over to where Drake was standing as he went over to where Asuka was lying with her ass in the air and saw that Asuka's ass was a deep purple and that there where a few drops of blood on her savaged ass cheeks.

 

" Gwen pull up Asuka's panties and help me get her to the infirmary, Rei grab Shinji and bring him along! " Drake said as he looked back to Gwen who had Asuka slumped over her shoulder and saw that Gwen was having a hard time with Asuka's weight and he looked over at Rei who was carrying Shinji in her arms.

Drake reached down and grabbed one of Misato's arms and it took him a few tries to get Misato on to her feet.

" Come let's get a move on! " Drake said as he dragged Misato towards the nearest exit from the motor pool.

" This is bullshit! " Drake snarled as they walked past a bunch of slack jawed Nerv employees that where just standing there staring at them like they where little green goblins after a drunken night out on the town.

* THAT'S IT! * Drake thought to himself for he knew that Misato, Asuka and Shinji needed to get to the infirmary A.S.A.P. so he reached into Misato's jacket and pulled out her side arm and pointed into the air and hoped the safety was off as he pulled the trigger twice.

 

Everyone in the hallway including Gwen and Rei gave out a slight squeak of terror as Misato's handgun roared twice and there where a few cases of bladder hostilely as Drake pointed the smoking gun at the frightened Nerv employees with a cold, inhuman look in his eyes.

" I need three stretchers here now! " Drake roared as he gave the closest Nerv employee a long and very unwanted look at the business end of Misato's sidearm, " Now move it bucko! " Drake screamed at the cowering Nerv employee as he wet himself as his brain tried to understand the fact that some loony kid was pointed a loaded handgun in his face for this was Nerv they where in and since it was Nerv this was the last thing anyone would expect to happen to them and when Drake saw that the cowering Nerv employee was just standing there with a wet spot on the crotch of his pants Drake fried two more shots right between the cowering man's legs, luckily no one was hit by Drake's two shots that buryed themselves into floor at the end of the hallway and Drake felt savage enjoyment as the cowering man turn and ran for his life.

 

Unbeknown to anyone Gendo had been watching Misato and the children since the sync tests had ended and had seen what had taken place in the motor pool and he was grinning from ear to ear as he watched Drake go on a rampage and he watched the video feed from the security cameras as a squad of security personal raced to the scene.

Gendo reached into his desk and pulled out his bag of cocaine and his little gold spoon and quickly loaded up the spoon with the coke and quickly inhaled the coke as he watched Drake wave the hand gun around and demanded that someone get some stretchers down to them as the squad of security men and woman quickly pushed there way though the frightened Nerv employees who did not have the common sense to run for there lives.

After taking two snorts of coke Gendo leaned back in his chair and watched the unfolding drama take place on his computer's monitor with an evil enjoyment.

 

Kaji had finished his work for the day and was heading down to the motor pool to go home when he heard two shots off in the distance and quickly pulled his side arm out and raced towards the sounds of the gun shots as he heard someone yelling then there was a terrible silence for a few seconds as Kaji continued to run then there where two more shots and off in the distances he saw a squad of Nerv security personal race around a corner as there was more shouting and Kaji was close enough to make out what was being shouted and he felt his blood run cold as he came to realize that it was Drake who was shouted and he picked up the pace and raced around the corner to see the Nerv security team had taken out positions in the hallway and had there weapons pointed at Drake who was pointed a handgun at them with a cold look in his eyes and behind him Kaji could see a terrified Gwen standing off to one side behind Drake as she held Asuka over her left shoulder, off to the other side of Drake Kaji saw Rei standing there with Shinji in her arms and she had a very concerned look on her face.

 

Kaji knew he had to act fast and pulled out his Nerv ID card.

 

" Stand down men I'll handle this! " Kaji said in a raised tone of voice and watched as the leader of the Nerv security team looked at his ID and knew that he was outranked by Kaji and he told his men to stand down with a disappointed tone of voice for this was not the first time that Nerv security and Drake had butted heads and Nerv security wanted nothing more to teach Drake a lesson in not only manors but the chain of command and respect for authority in a sound proof room with a locked door via a level four old school beat down and watched as Kaji casually walked past them and reached a hand towards Drake.

 

" What's going on here? " Kaji asked and from the grave look on Drake's face Kaji knew that something was very wrong but when he saw and heard Misato's raspy breathing he felt his blood run cold.

" Shinji tried to kill Misato!, we have got to get them into the infirmary but none of these Nerv dickheads did anything to help so I had to bust a move to get some help around here! " Drake said as Kaji raced over and took Misato from Drake as his blood ran colder at the labored rasping panting sounds that Misato was giving off and Kaji quickly looked her over and saw that her throat was so purple that it looked black.

" GET A MEDICAL TEAM UP HERE..NOW! " Kaji shouted at the security team who quickly made a calls for a medical team to get to there position.

Drake could see the concerned look in Kaji's eyes as he tried to get Misato to respond to him but went Misato just hung in his arms like a lifeless rag Drake knew that the shit had well and truly hit the fan in a big way.

Kaji looked at Drake who was holding Misato's pistol in a tight fisted grip and he could see that Drake was scared and that he felt helpless and was lashing out in fear and frustration as the medical team reached them.

" Lay Asuka in her side not on her back! " Drake said with a stern tone of voice as he stood this with a hard look in his eyes and Misato's pistol was well in the field of the Nerv doctor's vision, " Why what's wrong with her? " the doctor asked " Look I don't have time to explain it all but Asuka has an injured ass so treat it and don't ask fucking questions hemorrhoid head! " Drake snarled and smiled evilly as he saw the doctor shiver in fear then he quickly looked over at the other doctor who was tending Shinji and Drake made his way over to him.

" Hey numb nuts, you might want to check Shinji for a concussion, I had to hit him hard on the back of his head to stop him from killing Misato. " Drake said and watched as the Doctor gave him a funny look and Drake was sorely tempted to shoot the doctor in the foot for giving him that look but in the back of his mind Drake knew that he was in enough shit already and backed off from the doctor.

 

Kaji breathed a sigh of relief that Drake had not shot the doctor for he had seen the look of cold fury in Drake's eyes and he knew that he had to get the gun away from Drake as they all began to make there way to the infirmary, " Drake give me the gun! " Kaji said with a no nonsense tone of voice and was pleasantly surprised when Drake handed him the gun without raising a fuss, " Thank you for not making things any worse then they are. " Kaji said and watched as Drake gave him a wry grin, " No problem, besides I'm all ready in enough shit as it is so I decided not to make things any worse then are. " Drake said as they reached the infirmary.

 

Kaji looked at Drake and saw the troubled look on his face and as much as he wanted to take him aside and ask him what had happened but never got the chance as a Nerv security team walked into the infirmary and surrounded Drake with there hands on there side arms.

" Pilot Frost you are to come with us now! " the sargent of the security team said and Drake gave him a look that told the sargent to fuck off, Kaji could see that there was trouble brewing between Drake and the security team and intervened, " Sargent why are you here? " Kaji asked even though he had a damn good idea of why they where there but went though the motions anyways, " We have orders from the commander to take pilot Frost into custody. " the sargent said while Rei and Gwen watched with a slight amount of fear, Rei more so then Gwen for she knew how ruthless the commander was and powerless to do anything about the situation.

 

Drake knew that he was going to suffer for what he had just done but he did not care and began to walk towards the waiting security team, " Lead on cheese dick. " Drake said to the sargent of the security team and it took all of his willpower not to struggle as his arms where wrenched behind his back and a pair of handcuffs snapped on to his wrists and once that was done he was lead out of the infirmary with a cold look on his face.

Kaji watched as the doctors went to work on Misato, Shinji and Asuka while Gwen and Rei stood out of the way, once the doctor made sure that Misato and the others where safe Kaji turned and faced the two girls,

" Ok what happened? " Kaji asked as he pulled out a smoke and was beginning to light it when one of the doctors told him in no uncertain terms that smoking was forbidden in the infirmary, Kaji told Rei and Gwen to follow him and once they where outside of the infirmary Kaji lit up his smoke and waited for one of the girls to tell him what had happened in the motor pool.
