Summer Months

These memories I have,

They leave me with a smile.

Each moment that was glad,

Made my year worth while.

Summer is upon us now,

And we can spend the summer together.

So while we're young lets not have a cow,

Because this won't stay this way forever.

The smiles and rain we went through,

Our friendships and laughs remain in stone.

Even if we are far away, but it will always be us, me, and you,

With these memories, we're never alone.

As the sun beats down on our heads,

Let's run on the sand.

So while we lay in all of our beds,

We'll be in our dreams hand-in-hand.

All of us, will always be here,

There will always be someone to call.

Don't worry; we won't let you fear,

We'll make sure you never crawl.

While we relax beneath the sun,

We'll share secrets and laugh.

Then we'll get up and have some fun,

Where we'll be will be far from hate and wrath.

We will walk on a rainbow,

Climb the tallest mountain and fly.

We'll clown around and put on a show,

And we'll soar through the sky high.

As summers come and go,

And we grow apart and go on with our lives.

But in the back of our mind our memories will be a show,

Of all the secrets and our future we'll strive.

A smile will come onto our lips,

Because those were the days.

When we were just getting hips,

And we were allowed to play.

So take my hand,

Follow me to the end.

Don't worry, I have a plan,

I'll always be your friend.

Distance has nothing from any of us,

Even when we're in different parts of the world.

We will live our lives to our highest status,

But we'll always remain that boy or that girl.

We'll remain a child in the summer season,

Bathing in the sun and playing with our friends.

No matter what, that will be our reason,

To remain who we are till the end.
