It's amazing what a smile can do

When you're feeling sad or in a bad mood

And that's how I feel every time you are near

I'm starting see our relationship as something dear

I find myself wanting to be around you more and more every day

I wonder exactly what I'm trying to say

To keep it simplified, I'll simply say this

You're a good friend to me and one of the nicest

You have an easy-going nature and a caring sort of smile

And I feel it in every way each time you make me smile
