This time I'll try to do a longer chapter, but don't forget to review!

And also the action will start now. The first chapter was only to name all the characters. If you have any question, ask it in the reviews!

 

After the school, Ashuri got to the hospital to go see Joan.

 

-Fourth floor at the left.

 

When she entered the chamber, Ashuri saw that Joan had no chamber partner.

 

-Hey big girl! How are you?

-Not that good Ashu-chan. Joan softly said.

-I'm sure that you'll be up in no time.

-He he! I don't think so.

-Don't be so pessimist big girl. You'll be okay.

-Anyway, how was the school?

-Good. I told the guys about the thing that happened last week.

-Which story?

Oh yeah, I didn't told her.

 

So our hero told the story of her dad to her friend.

 

-It probably was painful!

-Yeah but its ok now, I stopped crying. Hey, don't you have a roommate?

-I got one but she left earlier today.

-Oh.

 

They got in a moment of silence. They didn't know what to talk about. Joan suddenly asked:

 

-Can you do something for me?

-Sure. What is it?

 

She hesitated and said:

 

-N…no it's nothing.

-Come on! I know how to keep a secret.

-Can you tell Maxwell that I…love him?

 

It was a big shock for Ashuri

 

-Ye…yeah I'll tell him. Sorry but I got to go. Bye!

-Goodbye Ashu-chan.

 

Ashuri got home and tough about the request of Joan all the night. She was about to get in her bed when she heard a noise. Then Daketsu appeared.

 

-Hi green haired girl. She said with her soft voice.

-What the heck? I'm not dreaming but I see you!

-You tough it was a dream? The black past her knees haired girl said. I can promise that it's true. Does your right hand hurt?

-Ye…yeah. How do you know that?

-Because I shook your right hand yesterday. It proves you that it wasn't a dream.

-Anyway I don't trust you anymore.

-It's not what the pact says

-I don't care of that stupid pact!

 

Her hand suddenly started to be very hot. It was like if it burnt from inside

 

-Ouch!

-It's the pact. Daketsu said, smiling. It'll stop in a couple of seconds. Anyway, did you told Maxwell about Joan's love for him?

-How do you know that?!

-I'll tell you something. It's not because you don't see me that I'm not there. But I know why you didn't tell him.

-And why do you think?

-Because you love him. It's simple. You love him and you don't want him to be with another girl. But it won't happen because I have a plan for you.

 

Ashuri blushed when she heard Daketsu telling the truth.

 

-What is your plan?

-You'll give her aspirin but before you will add a little something that will knock her down forever.

-What?! You want me to kill her? I can't do that! It's my friend!

-Nobody will know it because it would take effects in 7 days! You kill her and you have your little Maxwell! Everybody will be happy! Right now, Joan suffers. So you'll give her a down and she won't suffer anymore!

 

She hesitated and finally said:

 

-N…no. I just can't.

-Well if you change your mind, I'll tell you the recipe right now.

 

Even if she didn't want to, she heard the recipe.

 

The next day at school past normally, but she didn't tell Maxwell about her talk with Joan. When she arrived at the hospital, the secretary told her that Joan was feeling bad, so she couldn't stay long

 

-Hey Joan. How are you?

-H…hey Ashu-chan. Worst than ever.

-I hope you'll get better soon

 

Then she remembered what Daketsu told her about the down of hurt Joan would get if she gives her the poison.

 

-I…I may have a secret thing to help you out. But don't tell anyone because it's a family secret.

-I won't!

-Ok give me a second or two.

 

She did the poison and then gave her to Joan.

 

-It'll take effect in one week so… keep going until then.

-Thank you so much Ashu-chan!

 

Then the nurse told her to leave.

 

-Sorry I got to go.

 

The week passed without anything special. The next Thursday made the 7 days of delay before the poison took effect.

 

The telephone rang in the morning and Ashuri answered

 

-It's the hospital. We regret to tell you that your friend Joan died of pain. You're invited to the funerals.

 

Then she heard Daketsu saying from behind: you did the right thing Ashu-chan.

 

The next day, every single of Joan's friends were at the funerals, including Maxwell and his gang. The priest started his sermon by saying:

 

-We're here to commemorate the short life of Joan Smithson, a girl who was full of compassion. She left us too earlier, because of her car accident. She was only 14, but it looked like if she had the double.

 

Ashuri suddenly heard laugh in her head. It was the same laugh that she did one week ago in her bedroom. Then she saw Daketsu laughing right in front of her. At the moment Daketsu looked at her, the sweet face girl stopped laughing and did a wink to her friend and showed her hand to make Ashuri remember the pact they passed, and then she kicked a bottle of pills without anyone remarked.

 

5 days later, she didn't have school. So she woke up at 9:30.

 

-Good morning, pretty girl, Daketsu said.

-Don't you have any home to stay?

-Your bedroom's my only home. Your family isn't supposed to know that I live in your house.

-And why exactly?

-It'll be too long to explain. Anyway, I have something to show you.

-What is it?

-Get yourself ready. We're leaving at ten o'clock.

-What do you want to show me? The green haired girl repeated.

-Just a little gift from your father.

 

The young girl got surprised momentary, and then she got ready at the fixed time.

 

They got outside then Daketsu started to run into a dark alley

 

-Come on! Follow me!

 

Ashuri tried to follow her, but she wasn't fast enough. 15 minutes later, she lost her friend.

 

-Dake-chan, where are you?

 

Then her friend got out of the trashes, surprising the green haired girl.

 

-It's inside! The gift is inside! I'll get it for you.

 

She got a big knife full of blood out of the trashes.

 

-What the hell is that?!

-Don't you remember this place?

 

Ashuri looked around and recognized the place. She saw the car. Then she understood everything. The knife was the one the killer used to kill her father.

 

-Take it. It's yours. It'll help you, I promise.

-I…I…
