Romantic Date
Clint and Bunny had been close to each other for close to a month now. The priest had grown really fond of his lady guest. So much so that he wanted to do something nice for her. For days, Clint couldn't think anything to show his appreciation for such a kind and beautiful woman. By day three of planning, an idea came into his head. He could just take Bunn out on a date. But to where? That was the next step to the plan. He was lost at ideas on that one. But who to turn to? There was only one person for that job. But there came the risk of a spoiler. So what could he do? Screw it! The priest would risk it for love!
Clint found Bunny reading out in the shrine. She looked like a sweet little angel with her Jane Austin novel. Clint smiled at his lovely little doll. He walked over to her. Bunny looked up at him from her book. Her heart's desire stood right before her. Bunny smiled at him warmly.
“Hi Clint,” she greeted him. The priest made it over to his girl. He smiled at her kindly.
“Hey there,” Clint replied. Bunny lightly closed her book.
“What's on your mind?” she asked. The young priest sat down next to her.
“How would you like to go on a date with me?” he asked her boldly. Bunny's eyes lit up in delight. Her cheeks went bright red. She just couldn't speak at first.
“Yes!” the woman called happily. Clint breathed out happily.
“Great!” he replied. Happy silence passed by for a quick second. Bunny kept her eyes locked on her crush.
“So,” she said. “Where are we going on this date?” Clint lightly took her by the hands.
“I haven't thought that far yet,” he replied. “I'm going to need your help there. Any ideas?” Bunny smiled at him warmly.
“You're never really been on a date, have you?” she asked.
“No,” Clint replied mumbling. His crush kept her smile. She took his hands as well.
“Don't worry,” the bunny replied. “We'll work on what to do as we go along.” Clint smiled at her again.
“Okay then,” he said. “How does tomorrow sound?” Bunny kissed him on the lips. Clint kissed her back surprised. The couple pulled away slowly. Clint blushed at that one.
“I'll take that as a yes, then?” he asked. Bunny smiled at him sweetly. She leaned in close to his ear.
“You took that right!” Bunny whispered to him. The priest smiled at her words. He was really going to love tomorrow.
The day flew by into the next one. Clint was pretty nervous. He hadn't really been on a date before in his life. All he knew was religion. Clint never lived a normal life. It was just do as you were told for him. No questions asked. That was okay for Clint in the beginning. But then, time happened. Clint grew older. However, he still didn't argue with his parents. He did as they wished with a forced grin on his face. He didn't like it, but what could he do? His father always had the attorney in the house. But now, things had changed. Clint was a gown man now could so what he pleased. Well, almost…
The priest looked up from his thoughts when he heard footsteps. Bunny stood in the doorway waiting for him. She smiled at him kindly. The woman had on a short dark pink dress that hugged her little body sweetly. Her blonde hair was pushed behind her ears. A silver heart pendent hung around her neck. Bunny's make-up looked great as well. Her pink sandals, silver bracelet, and earrings completed her look. Bunny kept her smile.
“How do I look?” she asked. Clint smiled back at her warmly.
“Beautiful!” he breathed out. Bunny became overjoyed.
“Oh thank you, Clint!” she cried. Then, the woman hugged the priest with love. Clint hugged her back lightly. They slowly parted.
“So,” Clint said. “Where do you want to go first?” Bunny thought about that for a moment. An idea came into her head.
“I know where,” she replied. Clint looked at her intrigued.
“Oh really?” he asked. “Where would that be?” Bunny smiled at him again. She leaned in close to his ear.
“Why don't we have lunch first,” the woman suggested. “Then, we'll take a walk to the park and stay out until late. And work from there. How does that sound?” Clint's eyes lit up as he slowly pulled away. He was smiling as well.
“Great!” the priest called. “That sounds great!” Bunny smiled back at him.
“Thanks,” she replied. “Shall we go now?” Clint nodded at her blushing as he quickly came back to earth again.
“Yeah!” he replied in a rush. Bunny patted him on the shoulder gently.
“Relax,” she told him. “This is just a friendly date. We're not going to… you know…” Clint nodded at her again.
“Right,” he replied. Bunny drew back her hand.
“Let's go now,” she said softly. Then, Bunny turned and headed out the door. Clint stared at her blankly for a long time. Then, he snapped back to earth in seconds.
“Oh, right!” he said again. Then, the priest followed after his date.
Bunny let Clint pick the restaurant for a start. He found himself overwhelmed at first. Tokyo had many places at eat. Bunny could see the stress on his face. She gently held his hand. The priest blushed as he turned to her. Bunny smiled et him patiently.
“It's okay,” she told him. “Just pick out a place that you like and keep it under budget. You don't have to go all out to impress me.”
“But Bunny,” the priest replied. “I just want today to be very special!”
“And it will be,” she replied. “Just don't make yourself crazy over it.” Clint nodded firmly.
“Right,” he said again. Then, the priest took in a deep breath and relaxed. He began his search again. The priest settled on a nice steak house. Kobe Ume-Sakura to be exact. Bunny looked the building up and down.
“Impressive,” she replied. Clint relaxed again. “She loves it!” he thought in success.
“Shall we go in?” he offered her. Bunny smiled at him warmly.
“Why yes,” she said. Then, Clint took her by the arm and walked her in the steak house. Today was a busy day. Customers were all stuffing their faces. A hostess led the couple to the outside near the sand garden in the back. The summer day added a nice touch to their date. Bunny looked around overjoyed.
“Wow!” she called.
“You love this place?” the priest asked. “I've been to this page ever since I was a little kid.” Bunny turned to him smiling.
“I love it here!” she called. Clint smiled at her in response.
“I knew you would,” he said. His date giggled at him. Then, a waitress came over to them.
“Good afternoon,” she said.”My name is Yomi and I'll be your waitress today. What can I get you to drink?”
“Just some green tea,” Clint replied.
“Same here,” Bunny replied. The waitress wrote down their orders. She looked up smiling.
“Great,” the waitress replied. “I'll be with you in a moment.” Then, she went away. Clint turned back to Bunny.
“So what happens next?” he asked. His date smiled at him lightly.
“We talk while we wait,” she replied. Cling looked at her confused.
“That's it?” he asked. Bunny nodded like it was as simple as it sounds. Clint stared on at her blankly.
“About what?” the priest asked. Bunny shrugged at him.
“Anything,” she replied. The priest looked at her confused again.
“Anything?” he asked.
“Yeah,” Bunny replied. “Just… as long as it's not insulting or depressing.” Clint nodded at her.
“Right,” he said. A pause came. Clint took in a deep breath.
“So,” he began. “You're a Jane Austin fan?” Bunny smiled at him cheerfully.
“Why yes!” she replied. “I've been reading her books since you thought me how.”
“I see,” he replied.
“You have any favor books?” she asked him.
“I love the Tale of Genji,” the priest replied to her.
“Never heard of it,” his date replied. “What's that about?” Clint smiled at her and broke down the plot of the story. Bunny listened on hooked into his every word. He made her want to read it herself. The conversations went on from there. Clint and Bunny were really enjoying themselves. It felt they were married to each other on a date. Clint really learned about dating etiquette pretty quickly. Maybe this dating stuff wouldn't be so bad after all. When the food and drink came, things instantly became better. Bunny ate like a lady. The priest was just amazed to watch her eat. He would like to watch her eat more often. If only he could get out of his engagement with Viki…
When the bill came, Clint refused to let her pay.
“No,” he said. “A lady should never have to pay on the first date.” Bunny smiled and nodded. “Wow!” she thought. “Such a gentleman!” Clint paid for the meal and dessert and the couple tipped together. The priest turned to his date.
“Ready to go?” he asked.
“Yes,” bunny replied. Then, they left the restaurant together. Outside, Bunny turned to her date.
“Where to now?” she asked. Clint thought about that for a moment. An idea came into his head.
“How about a walk?” he suggested. Bunny smiled at that one.
“Okay,” she said. “We can do that.”
“Great,” the priest replied. Then, their walk began. On the way, the couple talked there as well. It was as if they were old friends. Clint felt so close to her. She had to be the one for him. If only he could get Viki out of the way.
The rest of the date went quite well. Clint and Bunny bonded well. They were just like soul mates. The priest found that he really liked this date stuff. He wanted to take Bunny on another date soon.
By the end, Clint walked Bunny to their door. The woman turned to her date.
“I had a lovely time,” she said. Clint smiled at that compliment.
“Thanks,” he said. A happy paused came between them. The priest smiled again.
“So,” he replied. “Can we do this again sometime?” Bunny smiled at me warmly.
“Of course,” she replied. Then, the woman lightly kissed him on the lips. The priest kissed her back. They slowly parted after thirty seconds. Bother were blushing at that one.
“Whoa!” Clint said. “Wasn't expecting that one!”
“Yeah!” Bunny agreed. Another happy pause followed.
“Shall we go in?” she asked. Bunny moved out of the way so Clint could get to the door. Clint stepped forward, pulled out his key, and unlocked the door. Then, he and Bunny went inside. She closed the door behind them. Such a sweet end to such a sweet date. And there would be more where that came from.
