Health Problems
-Soon-
My right ear keeps ringing. Why's everything so quiet lately? I
don't like this.
“Soon? Soon? Soon?” Someone touched my arm.
“Huh?” I asked, turning my head. Jin stared up at me.
“Are you okay?” he asked. I stared at him.
“What?” I asked. He cocked his head to the side.
“Were you listening to me?” he asked.
“Of course I was!” I said. Jin looked like he didn't believe me. I
rubbed the back of my head and chuckled.
“Sorry about that,” he said.
“Are you okay?” he asked again.
“Yeah, yeah,” I said. His voice sounded so distant. Oh, this is not
good. Jin started talking again but I barely heard him. This really
wasn't good I think I need to see a doctor.

-Mai-Pai-
When did everything get so blurry? I blinked many times. It started
to look worse.
“Mai-Pai?” Chiko asked. “Miss? Miss?”
“Yeah,” I said. I must have been looking in the wrong
direction.
“I'm over here,” she said. I turned my head. Chiko still looked
blurry. She held up her fingers.
“How many fingers am I holding up?” she asked. I blinked as I tried
to look.
“Three? Four?” I asked. “I don't know.” Chiko lowered her hand.
“You need glasses,” she said. I frowned.
“No, I don't,” I said. Chiko held up her fingers again.
“How many fingers?” she asked. I rolled my eyes.
“Stop,” I said. “Geez.” I tried to shove away her hand.
“I'm serious,” she said. “Get your eyes checked.” I frowned.
“Yeah, yeah,” I said. I leaned back in my chair. I could tell that
she was still staring at me. I don't have time for this.

-Mai-Pai and Soon-
They seemed to be falling apart. One might be going deaf. The other
was deaf. They need to see a doctor. Jin, Be, and Chiko had to
speak up.
“Just go!” they said. The couple stared at them.
“What?” they asked. The young trio sighed. This was going to take
work. After some convincing, Soon and Mai-Pai agreed to go to the
doctor. The youth were relived.
“Thank you!” Be said. Her mom and step-dad said nothing. Deep down,
they knew she was right.
