Wedding Lace
So here they were planning the wedding. Be couldn't believe it. He
actually won her over. Mai-Pai was happy for her. Soon wished her
well. Jin was also happy for her but a bit confused.
“Why him?” he asked. Be shrugged.
“It just happened,” she said.
Wedding planning started right away. Hindeo wanted to spoil her
rotten. Money would be no object. Be held up her hands.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa!” she said. “We don't have to go crazy with
money. I don't want a lavish wedding!” Hindeo pouted.
“I just want the best for you,” he said. “I want you to be happy.”
She took him by the hands.
“I will be,” she said. “We don't need so much money to do that.”
Her fianc pouted.
“Fine,” he said. She smiled and kissed him on the bridge of his
nose.
“Love you,” she said. Hindeo gave her a blank stare.
“What?” she asked.
“Say it again,” he said.
“What? I love you?” Be asked.
“Yes! Say it again,” he said.
“I love you,” Be said. Hindeo looked like he would melt.
“Again,” he said.
“Fine. I love you,” she said. Such a big baby. This would have to
do.

The couple would wed in the country. Be picked Shin's church hall.
In fact, Shin helped her set it up.
“Thank you for this,” Be said.
“No problem,” the old man said. “Happy to help.” Be bought a lovely
old lacy wedding dress from a local thrift store. It sat on display
in the window. Be had to have it when she first saw it. The dress
was still in good condition. It was going to be the most expensive
thing for the wedding.
But Hindeo would see otherwise.
---------
He wanted to make his princess happy. He asked questions. What was
her favorite flower? What kind of cake did she want? What food did
she want? The questions went on and on.
“We can't go over budget,” Be said.
“I know, I know,” Hindeo said. “I just want you to be happy.”
“What do you want?” Be asked. He paused for a moment.
“I want to make you happy,” he said.
“Then don't go overboard,” she said. “Stay in the budget.”
“Okay,” Hindeo said. Be smiled and gave him a quick kiss.

The wedding would be on a Sunday. The invitations were set for
fall. Everything was coming together. So far, everything looked
perfect. However, there could always be something that can go
wrong. In this case, it was the day of the wedding.
For now, everything is fine. Hindeo even tried his best with
staying on budget. He just wanted to make Be happy. He was going to
do this to the best of his ability.
