Namiko
-Namiko-
My uncle calls me to get to know the clients. This case should be
interesting. Her uncle wants her with his step-son because the men
and her don't get along. Not surprising. I've seen this before.
This is not a problem for me.
I checked my phone. The show should be finished in twenty minutes.
I took the liberty to study the fan groups. Lady Dragon ate at Mos
Burger after every show. Mai loved their burgers. I had to admit
they tasted good. I shoved my phone into my purse and walked out of
the room.
--------
I looked like any normal face. I loosened up my ponytail in my
booth. I kept my eyes on the crowd. Not many people were here. The
dinner rush was just winding down. Perfect time for Lady Dragon to
be here.
I pulled out my phone. No new messages yet. Uncle was busy with a
client. I shrugged to myself. I'll check in with him later. I
shoved my phone into my pocket.
I happened to look up and see Lady Dragon walking in. Well, damn.
My hunch worked. I counted all of the girls. Good, all of them are
here. I remembered their names. Yoko, the drummer, looked like she
wanted to go to bed. I think she's a vegetarian. Or maybe that's
Kasumi. Speaking of with, Kasumi boredly scrolled around on her
phone. Subaru leaned into Mai's ear and whispered something. Ah,
there she is. But I don't get up yet. My timing has to be right.
The band walked up to the counter. They really aren't the image of
cute.
Once Lady Dragon got their food, it's time to make a move. I got up
and walked over to their table. It doesn't take long for them to
notice me.
Sure enough, it's Kasumi who notices me first. She tapped my target
on the arm. Mai turned and looked. I stood and put on a bright
smile.
“Hi! My name's Namiko. I'm a new fan. Nice to meet you!” I said. I
bowed as I spoke. Mai stared at me at first.
“Uh… Thank you,” she said. I fought to keep up my shy persona.
“Um…” I said. My target raised her eyebrow.
“What?” she asked. I stood up straight.
“Um… Uh… Do you mind if I sit with you?” I asked. The band looked
at each for a moment. I waited with bated breath. Mai turned back
to me.
“Sure,” she said with a shrug.
“Thank you,” I said, bowing. I sat down between Mai and Subaru. I
flashed a quick smile before I turned back to being shy and
meek.
