Lightning illuminates the faintly dark room. In the corner stands a shrouded figure of a man with glowing golden eyes.

 

Breath catches in the woman's throat unable to make a sound, she stands frozen and muted, vulnerable. She collapses to the floor.

 

“Hmmf” A small smirk plays on the lips of the dark figure who is now standing over her. “She faints too easy.” He laughs exposing sharp pointed teeth, which he runs his tongue over. His eyes gaze over her now still form. Her long almost waist length hair, is sprawled out beneath her. She has a slight form, no more then 5'3 and slender but it's her curves which are remarkable, most women in this day and age have no hips at all and even less size to the chest. He can't help but notice how the small shred of clothing she's wearing has a slit that runs right up the thigh is now exposing a bit more then it should because of her awkward angle. Her smooth skin is like milk almost as pale as his own. He reaches down to touch her porcelain face but is stopped abruptly when he hears water being shut off and a door closing. He takes a last look at the doll before him. “You may be worth more then a mere snack my dear.” His eyes flash once more and he disappears into the night just as Jack turns the corner to see his Lilly unconscious on the floor.

 

“Mmmm” Lilly begins to stir.

“Lilly, wake up. Are you alright?” Jack whispers in an urgent tone as he brushes the hair out of her face.

“Mmmm, what? What happened?” Lilly exclaims sitting up.

“ I dunno I was just about to ask you the same thing. I got out of the shower and found you on the floor.” Jack puts an arm around her more worried then he's ever been in his life he has no idea what to do.

“I don't remember anything…..I remember you getting into the shower and I put on my night gown and came in here…..Aaaaa!!!!! There was a man! Here in the living room! Standing right over there!” Lilly pointed to where the dark figure once stood but only empty space remained.

“What? Someone was here?” Jack looked over to where she pointed and went to the door. “The doors are all still locked, are you sure you didn't dream him when you fainted?”

“Of course I'm sure I didn't imagine him, I'm not dumb!” Lilly sat with her legs crossed and pouted, she was sure she had seen him, it wasn't a dream. She never could have dreamt those eyes. “Well if there was a man in here I have no idea how he could have gotten in or out. Maybe you should get some rest. It's almost time for bed anyway.”

Jack helped Lilly up and they walked into the bedroom and climbed in bed. Once the lights were off Jack fell soundly to sleep with Lilly beside him staring up into the ceiling.

I just know I didn't dream him up. There's just no way. He was so hansom, in a `I'm going to kill you' way. Hansom was an understatement, in fact he was gorgeous. His black shoulder length hair tied in a ponytail. Medium build but not lacking in the muscle department. A chiseled faced that most think could only be in sculptures. Yes he was hansom indeed. Lilly frowned.

But there is no way those eyes are human. Maybe I'm just crazy.

Lilly was many things but crazy she was not. As Lilly lay there trying to sleep the man that plagued her thoughts was staring in on her from the window. As enamered with her as she was with him.

 

 

“Gah! What the hell am I doing?” Eric cursed rather loudly. “I should have killed her while I had the chance.” But she looked so good… “I've seen better, hell I've had better.” He chuckled to himself. Her smell is what made me stop. So fragrant, it was like nothing I've ever experienced. He looked back in on his sleeping porcelain doll. Her breathing had become even and he knew she had fallen asleep. “Hmm, maybe I could get one more good look at her before I go.” He opened the window as silently as possible and slid in. He stood over the girls sleeping form and watched her chest rise and fall with each breath. He noticed the man lying beside her and a small knot formed in his belly that he had never felt before and contemplated ripping the man's throat out right then. No it was unnecessary and would wake his doll. Maybe I could take her back with me. He thought. No daylight is soon and the last thing I need to be is helpless when she awakens.

Slowly he let himself out as silently as he entered. He took one last look at the sleeping girl before the dark enveloped him.

 

It was no dream! Lilly thought sitting up. She had clearly saw the dark man leaving her bedroom and turn his glowing eyes at her one last time. Those eyes had pierced right though her and her heart was beating uncontrollably.

 

What did he want?

Yippy! End of Chapter 2! Sorry so short. Meh, first time writing and all that but it seemed like a good way to end ^_^
