Again, characters of my imagination. Please read and review so i can know what to do with this thing.

Lilly clung to Blair for several hours and sobbed. It was as if she was a wounded animal that found someone that was willing to help, and it didnt want to let go. Blair sat willingly letting Lilly cry. Eventually Lilly cried herself to sleep. when she was out Blair carefully stood and cradled Lilly to her and settled the frail body into the dark purple bedding. When the red head was sure Lilly was resting she went down to the dining hall and got food, she had not eaten and was sure that when Lilly got up she would be hungry too. She was so skinny afterall, but maybe it was just fast matabalism, but Blair had the bad feeling that wasnt it. She had seen the other girls ribs.

When blair got back to her room she found Lilly curled into the futal postion clinging to her pillow. She shurged and put the food on her desk. She had brought up food that tasted just as good warm as it did cold. She didnt know when Lilly would be wakeing up so she thought it would be best to be prepared. There were rolls, sandwiches and all sorts of fruits, veggies and some desserts. Blair turned her chair to face the door and rocked back in it till only two legs were on the ground and the back was against her desk. The young red head bit into an apple and watched Lilly in her sleep. "When I Saw You" by Mariah Carey was playing on the CD.

Blair ate the apple and two sandwiches befor relaxing listening to the song "Welcome to my Life" by Simple Plan. She ended up dozing off and falling asleep rocked back in her desk chair.

As she slept Blair heard a soft knocking, it slowly grew louder until she was awaken with a start when she felt something touch her sholder. She jerked up, throwing herself off balance and toppleing to the floor hitting her head on the desk as she fell.

"Ow. . . "

Blair rubbed her head as she sat up and looked around. There was a laughing Jessica leaning agianst Lillys desk and a cowering Lilly curled up on Blairs bed. Blairs eye twitched as she looked at Jessica. She stood and straitened her chair befor sitting on her desk.

"Hey, what you need? Other than to stop laughing befor you burst a blood vessle?"

Jessica took a moment to calm down then tapped the folder on Lillys desk.

"Here is all the paper work for Lilly. Everything you got when you showed up. You said you would help her out right? Tara and Willow said to go see them first thing tommorow morning, When your are done there go see Kaye. When shes finished you can take your new roomy shopeing. Good luck."

Blair nodded and watched as Jessica left. When the door clicked shut Blair looked at Lilly as the raven haired young woman thought,

"I have no monye."

"Dont worry about money. I will explain everything to you later, for now why dont you eat something. Then when you are done I can show you around. That sound good?"

Lilly nodded slowly as Blair handed her a tray with a little of everything she had brought up from the dinning hall. Lilly looked at the food as if it was gold. Blair could see the hunger in the other girls eyes.

"Its all yours, take your time and eat it slowly thought, Dont want to make yourself sick now do we?"

Blair smiled then moved around collecting their wet cloths and said,

"I'll be right back, Im going to start these things in the washer. remeber eat slowly so you dont get sick."

With that Blair left Lilly alone in their dorm. She moved quickly through the halls to the laundry area and unlocked a washing machein. she put their cloths and turns a despenser putting detergent into the load. she closed the top and locked it again. she rather liked the design for the washers and dryers. They had locks on the lids so only the people in the same dorm would be able to get into the machein. No one had to worry about loseing anything that way, and you didnt have to stay in the laundry area while your cloths washed and dried. When Blair returned to the dorm room she found Lilly still on her bed eating a standwich in small bites. she was glad to see that her new friend had taken her word and had not tried to eat everything too fast.

blair moved and changed the CD to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra CD. As Wizards in Winter started to play she sat at the head of her own bed and said,

"Do you like the food? I wasnt sure what to get you so i just got a little of everything they had down there around noon when you fell asleep."

they looked at the clock on the wall in unison, it was almost four thirty. Blair thought for a moment then said,

"Let me know when you are willing to go around the school to get used to the layout."

Lilly nodded and continued to eat slowly like Blair had told her to do.

Around five Lilly had finished eating and was ready to wonder around with Blair. Blair smiled and lead the timid yound woman around the school. they didnt really run into anyone because most were visiting family or friends away from school. Blair told this to Lilly as she took her to the art room were Mrs. Brown had some of the work on display. Blair pointed out a painting of mountains and a lake that she had finished just befor the break started. They went to the gym were Blair took weight training and boxing. They also explored parts of the library and other halls of the school.

Lastly Blair showed Lilly around the dorm itself. She pointed out were the restrooms were, they went to the game room and the dinning hall. they collected a few drinks and snacks and took them up to the room filling Lillys mini frig and refilling Blairs. Becuase they couldnt do anything until the next day Blair and Lilly sat on their individual beds. At first in uncomfortable silence until Blair asked,

"Do you like to read?"

Lilly nodded yes and Blair got from her bed asking,

"Why kind of stuff do you like? Fantasy? Horror? Mystary?"

as she moved to her desk were there was a pile of books. Blair pulled out a few that she had already read and liked. She moved to sit near Lilly and handed the girl the books and said,

"I really liked these, you might like them too."

Lilly read the back of the books an d found one that looked intresting. She flipped through it then went to the frount of the book. She gave Blair a small smile and started to read. Blair smiled a little and took the books Lilly had rejected and put them back on her desk befor picking up Blood and Chocolate and started to read it. For a long while they read in peace until Blair closed her book and said,

"Hey we should go to sleep, we have a big day ahead. . . "
She had looked up from where she was and looked at Lilly. They raven haired girl had fallen asleep. Blair got off her bed and takeing a bookmark from her desk went to Lillys bed. She gentally took the book from the girl and marked her page. Blair pulled back the covers at the head of Lillys' bed and then tucked the other girl into them. She turned the space heater on half power then turned out the lights. She climbed into bed and fell asleep.

Blair woke bright and early like she always did. Quietly she moved around her dorm, careful not to wake Lilly. She changed into her jogging cloths and wrote Lilly a not saying were she would be. With that she set out on her normal jog around the grounds. She needed her jogging, it helped clear her mind and relax. It also came in handy because she would be able to run when she really needed to. When she returned to her dorm she found Lilly still sleeping. She edited her note and collected her shower stuff and went to take a shower. As she was rinsing soap from her hair she heard a scream. She jumped and looked around the showers and didnt see anyone. The scream sounded again then it occured to Blair that it was in her mind.

Blair grabbed her towel wrapping it around herself and jumped from the shower. She collected her things befor running off back to her dorm. If it had not been during the school a school break she wouldnt have run through the hall in nothing but a towel but no one was there. She opened her dorm door and dropped her things other than the towel and looked around for Lilly. The fragil young girl struggleing an invisible foe on the bed. She struggled franticly as Blair moved and sat on the side of the bed. The taller teen put her hand on Lillys forhead and said,

"Hey Lilly. Wake up. Its just a dream."

The combintation of Blairs touch and voice woke Lilly with a start. she jerked and swong out hitting Blair in the face. Blair, being caught off guard, fell off the bed and scrammbled to get her towel back around her.

"You alright up there Lilly?"

Lilly didnt move as Blair stood up again hiding as best she could behind the towel.

"i-im sorry i didnt mean to hit you"

Blair shrugged,

"Dont worry about it, I have taken a worse beating. Get dressed okay? We need to get alot done today."

They got dressed and left first for the head mistresses office. Lilly, with Blair there for translation, figured out her schedual. When they were finished Blair took her to see Doctor Kaye. Blair explained to Lilly that the doctor was going to take care of her and run a few tests. After a while Lilly let Blair leave. With promises of returning with food Blair left the two so the doctor had a chance to do what she needed.

Lilly was very uncomfortable with the doctor even though Blair said the doctor just wanted to make sure she was healthy and well. No matter how unhappy she was Lilly let Doctor Kaye do her job. When the doctor left to let her change Lilly was in her clothes as fast as she could be. She rubbed her face befor slumpping back into a chair, asleep.

Kaye sat in her own chair in the next room and used her power to explore Lillys mind to check her mental stability. As far as she knew Lilly still hadnt said a word. As she dove into the young womans mind she found herself surrounded by cassett tapes. When the doctor reached out to touch the nearest tape she saw the contents of the tape, she found herself looking through Lillys eyes

Kaye let go of the tape and moved onto the next

Kaye stumbled away from the tape and touched a different one, this time seeing

Kaye moved away and did her best not to touch anymore of the tapes. she had seen more than enough. Lillys mind was horribly torminted and unorganized, it was a wonder the young woman had even been able to make it as far in life as she had after all the mess she had to live through. Kaye tired to pull away when suddenly something grabbed her. Kaye turned to see a young woman that looked exactly like Lilly only with white hair and light eyes. The figure pulled at her and Kaye gasped as several thoughts and memories shot through her head.

Kaye pulled away and left the thoughts of Lilly to find herself face to face with the white haired Lilly. The girl struck out at her, Kaye fell backwards and cut her arm one some unseen metal. Lilly woke and saw her light haired double looming over Doctor Kaye. Suddenly the double vanished and Lilly was huddled in the corner.

She did indead return with food and drink for the two of them. As she came to the door Blair heard a crash and entered the office without knocking. Doctor Kaye sat on the floor beside an examination table, Lilly was huddled in the corner. Kaye stood and told Blair she was done and that they could leave, Blair calmed Lilly down after a while and they left. Blair didnt notice the blood that was running down the Doctors arm.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In Town

Blair explained the cards to Lilly as they wondered around store after store collecting the things Lilly was going to need. Instead of takeing everything from store to store the girls made several trips back and forth between the school and town. They got the boring shopeing done first, Books and other supplies for Lillys classes. the for the more intertaining things. Lilly had desided that she was going to wear the girls uniform so she got a pair of black dress shoes, two Black skirts, black tie and a maroon collar shirts. she also got black socks with a soft pink strip at the top. Lilly had had even fewer cloths than Blair had when she first got to the school so Blair took her to look at the other cloths too.

Lilly got several dark outfits but she also got a lot of warm cloths too, the warm weather was still a ways off. Soon they had all the cloths they were going to need and went for the home improvement. Lilly picked out a bed set a few shades lighter purple than Blairs. Lilly looked a an insent burner for a little while. It was very intresting looking. the wooden box had intricate carveings on it. The top swong open so it could hold insecnt sticks inside it. After a moment blair grabbed the box and stuck it into their cart, then put some of the better smelling insents in as well,

"A dorm warming gift from me to you."

Lilly smiled up at Blair as they walked through the store collecting whever caught their fansy to add to the dorm for Lilly. Blair found a poster that had chocholate writen on the top in cursive then all sorts of chocolates on the poster. She smiled and added it to the things she was going to buy. as they were going through the home improvement section Lilly picked out a bed set a few shades lighter purple than Blairs. Lilly walked along the lamps and picked out two. One to put on her desk and a second one to put beside her bed so she had a light if she wanted to read in bed.

Lilly was slightly overweild at haveing the chance to buy things that intrested her. She was actually more intrested in looking at things then actually buying them. When they were finnally finished Blair carried most of Lillys things back to the room. she was very happy they had desided to shop in steps this time rather than when she had first gone. They got to the dorms and got everything up to the Dorm. Lilly droped her things on her bed and sighed. Blair piled the boxes and bags she had been carring on the desks and floor. She set up the lamps and started organizing everything they had bought. Lilly had fallen asleep curled beside her new bedding.

Blair sorted the things she had bought and put all of it on her own desk then put everything eles around Lillys. The taller red head put the other girls books on her desk, cds in a cd wrack they split the cost of, she desided it would be best to let Lilly sort through her cloths herself. Blair put the clothes on bags and put them in the closet. After sorting everything and putting most of it were it belonged Blair put togeather the lamps Lilly got and set them up. Then she stopped, she took a breath and sighed. She popped her back then collected the much smaller young woman and lay her on herown bed. Blair took the genaric beding off Lillys bed and made her bed.

Blair then picked up the young woman off her bed and layer her on the newly made bed. She tucked Lilly between the covers and set the space heater on. Blair wrote Lilly a note incase she woke and went to the dinning hall to get some food. she came back up the the room and put the food into the iceboxes and settled into bed to sleep. she was tired, it had been a long day. Within moments Blair was asleep.

Authers note: Bleh, okay thats really bad. Horrid story, i cant figure out were i want this story to go so yeah.
