He groaned. She would give in, eventually. The next morning Yori was the first up. Looking down at Alana, he realized that this whole not having sex thing was starting to mess with his mind. Running his hand over her body, he hissed as she started to stir. He was going to end up raping her. He just knew it. Undressing, he grabbed a cold shower, groaning as he was forced out. Flowers? Really.... Well, today was just perfect. They had another day of this before they could get home. He was actually starting to miss earth.
Alana woke and changed then walked to the living room to see Yori. She yawned and stretched. "How did you sleep?"
"I was restless most of the night," he said as he rubbed his shoulder. He was scanning through the holo channels, seeing what was going on with earth. The Illumians were apparently keeping their work and stopping the spread of the virus. The humans would continue to exist. Yay.... Looking back at her, he smiled. "What about you?"
"Peacefully," she said and sat down. "It was the first time I slept alone in a long time but I didn't seem to mind."
His ears flattened against his head. "Really? Well, that's good. I'm glad you got such a peaceful rest."
"Don't look at me like that. I'm not saying I would rather sleep without you I'm just saying that I sleep fine without you," she said. "See...mushy."
His eyes narrowed as he growled. "I'm not mushy! I'm just...." He thought of how to use the words correctly. "I'm addicted to you, and it's driving me crazy. That's the best analogy I can think of."
She smirked. "I don't know if that's sweet or I should be scared that I have a stalker...again."
He glared at her. "It's not cute, and I'm not a stalker. I'm just someone who wants to be the only person who screws you for the rest of your life."
She patted his hand. "Well, don't worry. I don't intend to let anyone screw me anytime soon."
Yori's jaw dropped. "That doesn't make things better!" He stopped and growled. "That actually makes things worse."
"Would you rather me say that everyone will be screwing me except you?" she smirked.
Yori stopped moving. His ears and eyes seemed to twitch as he let the mental images flood his mind. He seemed to just stay like that for a few minutes as if he was broken. Finally he seemed to regain his senses. "There would be a lot of dead people."
"So, you like my first answer then?"
"Is there a third answer involving you taking off all your clothes?"
"If you want to see me naked, you should go back in that cube."
Yori stood and walked over to the teleporter. "Be back in an hour."
"You have to be joking," she said looking at him with a large smirk.
"Wouldn't you like to know," he smirked. Giving her a wink he disappeared through the portal. The look on her face was priceless.
Alana couldn't help but laugh. The day passed slow. They spent most of it looking around and trying new things. By the time night came, they were both ready for bed. The next morning they took a flight back home. They were delayed so they didn't get home until night fall. They had decided to go straight home and rest up for the next day so they could see Yori's father.
That morning, they dressed and walked to his father's house. Of course, he was busy as always.
"How is the President?" Alana asked as Midori handed her something to drink.
"He's...adjusting," she told her with a smile. "He's definitely more interested in Eldarian rights since becoming one."
"Serves him right," Yori said as he came back from the kitchen with a pack of sardines. "Though it does seem that he enjoys the perks of being an Eldarian."
Yori's father came in the room and Alana stood. "I must speak with you...in private," she said eagerly.
Raize looked up from his report and nodded. "Yes, of course." Motioning for her to follow him back to his office, he sat down and looked at her. "What is it Alana?"
Alana shut the door behind her and walked over to him. She sat down. "On Illumia, they have this cube that shows you your heart's desire. The way Yori talked about it...it almost seemed as if it could show you a glimpse into the future. Yes, I know that it's far fetch but when I was in there...I saw myself pregnant with Yori's child...and I wasn't human and neither was he. I had the ears and tail I have now. It could be just my heart telling me that I want that because I know it's not possible...but..." She took a deep breath and fixed her skirt then looked at him. "I'm not full Eldarian. I thought that maybe there is a possibility that I might still be able to have children one day. I was hoping you would be able to tell me if I could or not."
Raize looked over her and bit his lip. "I'd honestly never considered that a possibility. However, if your womb and ovaries are still in tact...then it should be theoretically possible." Standing he nodded for her to lay down on his operating table. Once she laid down he ran a scan over her body. He checked the results and nodded. "It seems that all the parts necessary are still intact and functioning." Putting his scanner down he looked at her and sighed. "It's a possibility, Alana a really good possibility, but I'm not a hundred percent certain if it could occur."
"The President said that a human woman cannot carry an Eldarian child. But I had my stomach blown out the other day and live. I really do think I can do this...I just hope Yori doesn't get pregnant first...again...whatever," she said. She hopped of the table. "It's not like I want one now, but one of the main reasons I keep turning Yori's proposals down was because I feared I could not have children."
Raize choked. "Yori has proposed to you?" He shook his head in amazement. "It does seem possible. The main reason that human females couldn't have Eldarian children were because they would die during childbirth." Taking a deep breath he smiled at her. "Who knows maybe you and him will have kids at the same time." He laughed at that and shook his head. Women having children. What a ridiculous notion.
"He proposed twice," she said. "And it's just gross to talk about him having babies...it's just wrong," she said making a face.
Raize smiled. "Well I personally find it weird to think of females having children. Different customs. Different races," he shrugged.
She smiled. "It's still gross," she said and headed for the door. "Thank you," she added and walked back to the living room then sat down.
Yori looked at her curiously. "What did you and dad talk about?"
"If I could have babies," she said honestly while blowing on her hot tea.
Yori and Midori exchanged glances. "And uh...what did he say?"
"I still have everything that a human woman needs to have children. And since I'm part Eldarian, I should be able to carry and have the children with little trouble."
"Aw, so this means Yori doesn't get to use the pregnant clothes I bought him?" Midori pouted causing Yori to groan.
"Kids won't come for another century," he told her. "There's still too much of the galaxy I want to see." His tail wrapped around her's as they sat. She wanted to have kids.... Now, maybe she could.
"I want kids within the next five to ten years depending on how I feel about it as the years go by," she said. "You can travel all you want. I don't need you to have babies," she pointed out with a smirk.
Yori growled as he glared at her. "Like hell you don't! No one else is going to put their thing inside you!"
Alana blushed. "Hello! You're family is in this room!"
Yori smirked. "So? It's not like Midori doesn't already know," he told her. "And it's the truth. Mine is the only thing going anywhere near you."
"On that note, I'm going to my room," Midori said as she excused herself.
Alana placed her hand over her face. "Remind me again why I love you?"
He was grinning as he heard that. "Because, I make your body tingle when I'm close," he said hungrily. "You find me amazing, wonderful, and god like. Not to mention the way I make you scream in bed."
She punched him in the stomach and watched him double over. "And I love the way you look when I kick your ass." She set her tea down. "So it's settled then. I will marry you, Yori."
Yori was groaning in pain and coughing, both due to the fact that he couldn't breath and because of what she'd just said. "What? Just like that?" He said once he could talk. "You make it sound as if you're doing me a favor. What if I retracted my offer to marry you?"
"I'll marry someone else," she said shrugging. "Either way, I'm getting married. Yay for me."
Rolling his eyes he grabbed her and pulled her on top of him, his lips pressing hard against hers. "Like hell you will."
She smiled. "Then take me home so that we may consummate this marriage," she whispered.
Per her request, they went home and stayed there for the next two days, not leaving aside to get food. After informing his family, the two of them officially announced their engagement to the world. It didn't matter what other people thought of them, they were happy. That was all that mattered. They didn't know what was in store for them, but they were going to face anything that came their way.
Within a month they were star bound. They were going to hop the stars, leaving earth and its troubles behind them. They saw places that had never seen Eldarians or humans before. They saw places that were paradise, and places that were like hell. It was but a fraction of the universe, but it was the beginning for them. There end was nowhere in sight.
Alana woke and changed then walked to the living room to see Yori. She yawned and stretched. "How did you sleep?"
