"Fuck!" Gabriel snapped as he just barely his head on his shoulders. He pumped his burning legs with everything he had left, needed to lose the cats soon or he was dead. Holy shit! The ground was rumbling under him, one look showed kitty-saurus-Rex was thundering after him.

How big did these things get!? The guy was like ten fucking feet tall! Was there miracle grow in the food? Magic beans? Huge as fuck rays?

What made the situation worse was that it appeared he was coming up on a dead and, something told him the metal railing wasn't just for show. If only he had some catnip... or a tank. With 5 feet to the railing Gabriel's brain chimed in, there was some kind of aqueduct down below it seemed, creating a wide, deep trench. With this in mind his brains suggested something stupid. Reaching the rail, he ran right onto it, using all his momentum and all the strength left in his legs to jump.

Sailing through the air pointed out the distance was greater than initially estimated. Yep, this had been stupid.

Kasan could not believe what he just seen, the human had tried to jump the gap. Tisu stopped at the rail, snarling menacingly, Kasan coming alongside him. Unfortunately Zonta had crashed into a passerby allowing Kasan to overtake him. But considering Zonta's surprise shout, Kasan figured he saw what just happened.

"He's not going to make it." Kasan thought as the human flew through the air, it was not like when Max fell , there was nothing he could do. Winced as the human, Gabriel, smashed into the rock wall of the dock, he was just barely able to catch the lip of the ledge. The poor thing just hung there, he didn't seem to have the strength to pull himself up.

Tisu had a nasty look on his face, one that may Kasan nervous.

"Calm down Tisu." Kasan said.

"Little shit better hope he in falls and drowns." Tisu growled.

Kasan shook his head as he spotted a way to get over to the human, big lug wasn't going to listen. Gabriel was trying to pull himself up again, but just didn't seem to have the strength.

"Hang on!" Kasan shouted, for all the good it would do. "Zonta? Zonta!? Zonta!! Kasan cried out as Zonta rush past him, stepping up on the rail so hard it crumpled under his weight as he launched himself or the aqueduct. Well... that was another way yes.

Gabriel rolled under the railing as he finally managed to pull himself up. Panting he laid on his back, trying to ignore white-hot agony in his over abused arms, which not to be confused with merely the red-hot ache in his cramped legs, or the raw burn in his lungs and throat.

"Three different flavors! Fun for the whole family." Gabriel croaked as he pulled himself to his feet.

Thud!

Gabriel turned around just in time to see Zonta pushed off the opposite wall and land on his feet. Not only had big Red made it over the railing, but he actually overshot. Damn show off...

"That's not fair... that's not even the same ZIP code is fair." Gabriel groaned. He considered himself to be a pretty damn good shape, but the tank was nearly dry. Not to held his hands up, palms out and took a step forward.

"Is okay, Gabriel okay." Zonta said. Uh huh, he was sure they had just chased him like a pack of bloodhounds because everything was fine. Plus one could not forget the cat that had nearly taken his head off. So... sure of shotty the magic shotgun, a. To get Zonta out of his way... how was he going to get out of here? Backing up slowly, Gabriel scanned for options, there will woefully few unfortunately. The Zonta pressed his hands together prayer like and said something that he didn't understand.

"Whatever dude... fool me once, and I'll stab you, fool me twice and I am the one getting knifed." Gabriel muttered. Well... time to pull some Jackie Chan shit...

Gabriel Fager right and then jumped back over the rail, Zonta shouted something and rushed him, arms outstretched. But Gabriel held onto the rail, using his momentum to swing himself through the bars. It was a tight fit, he clipped his job on the way through, but he landed on his feet behind Zonta. Ugh... more running.

Gabriel took off only to be cut short by Zonta's big ass hand in his hair. Sharp pain cuts are Gabriel scalp as his head jerked back, he cried out, and for whatever reason Zonta release him. Not one to let an opportunity pass him by gave her a resume operation fleet! His body protested, and Gabriel had to wonder how much time he had before the lactic acid in his body built up to the point where he would not be able to run any longer.

Ducking into a new Ally Gabriel began making as many turns as he could. His best bet was to get out of the big cat's site, and hope he took a wrong turn. Zigzagging between the building seemed to be a sound plan, Zonta didn't seem to be able to build up that frightening speed, and Gabriel had noticed his difficulty at sharp turns. In a desperate bid Gabriel quickly scaled one of the smaller buildings. He didn't see Zonta behind him, but he couldn't keep running. It was just a small little shack, maybe for storage, and was only 4 feet taller than Zonta himself.

Rolling to the middle Gabriel pressed himself tight as he heard Zonta's heavy footsteps approaching. Instead of passing right by as Gabriel had hoped the redhead would, he stopped right next to Gabriel's hiding place. He was so close Gabriel could hear his breathing, giant bastard was barely breathing hard! Gabriel held his breath, trying to make as little sound as possible, something his are ready burning lungs protested greatly. He didn't know how good Zonta's senses were, were they similar to humans or cats?

After what seemed like an eternity the giant cat made an exasperated noise and took off. Gabriel slowly led his breath out, not liking the little black dots flashing in front of his eye's. So he had almost made him so pass out, big deal. He probably couldn't stay here long, who knew how long it would take for another one to come by, or Zonta to retrace his steps.

Slowly, he set up, it might be better to get to higher ground, then he would be able to get a better view of where he was. Plus, in his experience, people would look forward, they would look left and right, and they would look down, but they rarely looked up. He spotted another large archway in the distance, he would have to go across a few rooftops, but he was pretty sure he could get to it. Not totally sure, his legs felt like rubber however, he had a stitch in his side so bad he could barely breathe... oh yeah, what a fine day.

"I see him Zonta." A calm voice said in the distance. Sounded like the smaller one that had Spiderman'd up the damn wall.

"He's headed for the archway," another voice said. Cairo couldn't understand what was being said, which he didn't like, but it didn't have that -There he is!- tone.

Finally reaching his new hideaway, Gabriel just laid down face first on the stone. That was it... he was done. His arms were dead, his legs were dead, his lungs hurt, his face and hand hurt, he was thirsty and he had to piss something fierce. He didn't like it but he was going to have to take a break. Fortunately there was nothing near him that was the same height, no one should be able to spot him. What was that of thudding noise though?

"No... go back, turn right and then start climbing, I'll close in slow-Tisu NO!" A voice rang out.

Gabriel lifted his weary head to try and see what the fuss was about, and what the thudding was. It was then he remembered that God hated him, why he didn't know. But he did know.

Kitty-saurus-Rex was right there. His huge leg drawn back. Shit.

"You fucking hurt Roto!"

The cinderblock of a foot drove in the Gabriel stomach, his stressed lungs being deprived of oxygen once more. His body skidded across the roof, forced into motion from the sheer power behind the kick. Then suddenly there was no roof. Through blurry eyes he managed to look down, though he wished he hadn't.

Oh... and it was a long, long way down.

His arch nemesis gravity kicked in again, and down he began to fall. If he could breathe he would've screamed to but alas, that was not an option.

The coyote never felt silly look down... why oh why did he have to look down?

Kasan wanted to punch Tisu, the satisfied look on his face as the human plummeted off the roof made him sick. The only reason he didn't is because Zonta began to the top of the archway.

"What the fuck is wrong with you Tisu!?!" Zonta screamed as he stomped towards Tisu Kasan had seen a lot of things in his life, a lot of really funny thing said that. But watching tended to, kinds onto, flattened big Tisu with one right cross might have just beat them all. Zonta took over Tisu, screaming at them.

"You might have just killed and Tisu!"

That was true, Kasan had a cold feeling is correct, it was a 35, 40 foot drop and soft had said humans did not do well with falsely great heights, there was a chance he might have landed in the water of the spillway, but then he just it sucked in the water treatment pipe. If that happened it was game over, they'd never find them, and even if they did he drown long before they could get to them.

Tisu stood up catching Zonta in the short ribs with his elbow. Damn it, they needed to get down to the human, not have a fistfight. Had it been anyone else Kasan would have left them to duke it out while he made his way down, but... while Zonta was probably the most technical fighter of all of them, he also had no true combat experience. All of Zonta's bites headband competition, with rules and referees. Not so here, Tisu had fought for real, he was bigger, stronger, and had a real nasty temper. He would seriously injure Zonta, and probably would lose much sleep over it, it was just the type of person Tisu was.

Fortunately Kasan was spared from having to break it up by a small yet very angry voice.

"Tisu! What the hell?!" The voice belonged to none other than Roto, who was stopping his way over to is much larger mate. Without another word Roto stopped in front of Tisu, and smacked him hard in the stomach. "I can't believe you did that!" Roto shouted.

"I..." Tisu started.

"Don't try to deny it! I saw UK cam, and I you try to punch him back there. What's wrong with you? He's even smaller than me." Roto interrupted.

"He hurt you!" Tisu snapped. Roto had a little dried blood around his nose. But other than, it didn't look too bad no bruising or anything.

"Oh please, it was an accident. Poor guy must've been scared to death. Besides, I've heard myself worse falling out of bed." Roto countered.

"It's my job-ow!" Tisu shouted as Roto reached up and gave his hair a firm yank.

"Don't be a bully Tisu! You know I feel about stuff like that!" Roto snapped before turning to Zonta "Is he all right?"

"I don't know." Zonta admitted. Roto's question and a pitiful grown rising up from the spillway re-alerted them to the situation. Kasan looked around, there had to be a ladder or something that would allow allow them to get down into the spillway.

Zonta did not seem to care about the semantics and despite a shout of protest from Jolan, who had come with Roto, Zonta simply jumped off the archway.

"That's one way I suppose." Kasan muttered. "And people accuse me of having a one track mind."

Pain. That was all Gabriel could really feel as he crawled pitifully along the way, dirty rock. He had hit his head again, his right shoulder felt dislocated and he was pretty sure his right hip was broken. All he could do was pull himself along with his left arm, and couldn't even do much of that for very long. Every few moments a sharp pain would stab into him from somewhere, stealing his breath and halting his effort. God... he could feel things shifting inside his hip, it hurts so fucking much. Gently he probed the injured area with his fingers some bone was poking out of his skin he wanted to try to push it back, but every time he touched it he nearly screamed.

Something heavy hit the ground behind him, one looked back revealed it was none other than Zonta.

"Fer fucks sake..." Gabriel groaned, trying to move faster." It hurts, it isn't fair, lied about Max, won't put me on a table,nrgh... Michael." Gabriel rambled. It was hard as hell but he managed to pick himself up, supporting all his weight on his left leg. Slowly pulled himself along, using a bar along the wall to help.

"Gabriel..." Zonta said softly, Gabriel pulled himself even faster than, or as fast as he could anyway, he had it away. That was all the was to it, he never given up on anything before he wasn't about to start doing it now.

To make the situation even more deplorable his bladder chose that moment to let go. He tried to ignore it, it wasn't the first time his dignity had had to give way to biological needs. Still humiliating though.

Zonta's large hand suddenly touched his shoulder, Gabriel groaned in pain and jerked awake feebly. All he could do was press himself into a corner, Zonta was too close, and more kitty man were coming down the steps, including one who would use them as a soccer ball in the first place.

And he was still pissing.

"God... tell me that's not what I think it is." Zonta's voice said. Gabriel found himself sliding down the wall, his leg giving out.

"Smells like it."

"He must be terrified..."

Black spots were creeping in the Gabriel's vision, great... just what he needed... to pass out again.

A large hand curled around his right ankle, and he was yanked off the ground violently. All of his weight pulled down on his badly damaged hip and the real shrieked. Then the world was tumbling, spinning in circles. His body stop painfully as he slammed into something warm, with big arms cradling. He heard some to shout, and then meat-eating meet, before sounds of a scuffle reached his buzzing ears. Gasping Gabriel tried to push the pain away, he wasn't a yoga person, but he had picked up something about tolerance for pain over the years. Unfortunately this was just a little too much, and like an annoying telemarketer who just kept calling it would not go away.

It hurt.

"I didn't do it, not supposed to be here, just trying to find my brother, not my fault, I didn't even do this." The words pummeled out of Gabriel's mouth, he couldn't even understand half of what he was saying. Something touched his face and he didn't even have the strength to bite at.

"Zonta's right... you do have the same eyes is Gisho."

Gabriel through feeble punch it whatever held him, and then the world one block.

Stupid giant cats... somebody was going to get a peanut butter and glass and enema if he wasn't left alone.
