THIRD EYE OPEN

Chapter 2

Later the two of the vampire and zombie woke up in the morning. Cross felt she was being poked by someone. She looked to her left to see ah elf poking her. It was a elf female in green with yellow lines over it leather chest armor and a short green shirt with knee length blue boots with the same yellow lines as her chest armor.

“Why are you doing that?” Cross said softly as she woke up.

“Your suppose to be a bone right now. And why is your vampire friend waking up now in the mourning. And how the Darsu's Caves can you talk?” the elf said to Cross.

“I not a true zombie. I'm a for lack of better term botched vampire or zombie-ghoul could be said. And he not a true vampire. Well he is vampire but one of those devil vampires,” Cross tells her.

“What is a devil vampire? I never heard of that. Nor as you said botched vampire.”

“A devil vampire is a person who sold there body to a demon but kept there mind and soul for the payment of a close to them another's soul like a friend or family members. Me I was the result of him trying to convert me into a vampire when I had a Ring of Reliving on. The magic of both made me a mess a messed up vampire. I'm now like a zombie as I eat living and dead humanoid flesh to stave off hunger and look like a zombie but also a ghoul as I talk and think like one of those living dead carrion eating flesh eaters. If you want to know what he survives on its dead flesh for body repair and humanoid blood for his hunger. So why are you here? And why are you bleeding so much everywhere?”

“I was caught like you and also battled that man named Hunter. He tricked me and my friend into coming into this cemetery and then attacked. We fought back but lost much. Very much. Valla we have new guests.”

The sight that came out from the shadows shocked Cross. It would have to tears if she had been able to still cry.

It was a female reptillite with blond hair and the same armor on as her friend, but her entire bottom half section up to her stomach was gone. You could still see her moving spinal cord that had been cut off from her waist bone it seemed. She was standing with the strength of her arms.

“Oh my goddess! What happened to her!” Cross screams in a disconnected voice.

“Don't worry about me. It doesn't hurt… Much. My name is Valla and this Falla. And yours is?” Valla said to Cross.

“Cross. The vampire over here is Antech. The wolf is Slicer and he attacked us with Hunter. I think Hunter double-crossed him. They attacked us after we had ate a corpse and had are fill,” Cross told them.

At that moment Antech had crawled over there and was staring at the two living beings like a kid in a candy store. Cross then noticed him staring and spoke to him she did.

“Down boy. Stop looking at them like there today's fresh blood banks,” Cross speaks to Antech.

“I don't really care bitch. All I know is I am thirsty and I got an itch to scratch,” He said to her.

Suddenly Valla said, “He's watching.”

Hunter stepped out of the shadows outside of the cells.

“Good eye reptillite. Valla was it? It seems the healing magic worked well enough on your remaining body parts. Sorry about the spinal problem. Oh and Cross notice this?” Hunter says as he holds up a dead human pinky finger.

Cross looks at her hands and sees she is missing her left pinky finger.

Hunter them take the pinky finger and gobble it down.

Now this just enrages Cross and she forward to bust down the cell bars stopping her from killing him but hits a barrier of sacred lightning. There were crosses on each side of the cell from front to sides. She started trying to driving her hand through the barrier to get at him spitting out, ”I'LL KILL YOUR MOTHER FUCKING ASS YOU SON OF A GOD DAMN BITCH!!! I WILL TEAR EVERY FUCKING PIECE OF YOUR FLESH OFF SLOWLY FOR DARING TO CUT OFF AND EAT MY FUCKING FLESH!!!! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU BITCH!!!!! I'LL RIP YOU TO PIECES IN THE MOST GRUESOME OF WAYS YOU BLOODY BASTERD!!!!!!! YOU WILL DIE!!!!!!!!!!”

“Leave it be before you burn your entire left hand off Cross. It's not worth it,” Antech just quietly but boldly states to her.

Cross stops as she now sees she had burned off what was left of her left hands nails.

“Here my vampire friend takes some blood,” Hunter says and pulls out a red bottle of blood, a glass and a white bottle of vodka.

He mixes the blood and vodka together in the glass and walks up and puts it in the cell floor. Antech thinking he's getting a rare treat drinks it without thinking and then starts choking like his stomach and throat are on fire.

“Did I forget to mention that wasn't vodka but holy water. I love a good trick. Here have the bottle of blood and drink up. Where going to have a little duel together. Just the two of us. I'm not going to kill you I just want a challenge. If you win and I'm dead and you your friend or friends are free to go. But if you lose… So drink up and tell me what you say. It don't matter what you say though. You're doing it no matter what,” Hunter says and rolls the bottle of blood to Antech.

“Dirty trick. So alright but let me drink first,” Antech says.

“But of course.”

Antech drinks down the bottle of blood then.

“Alright let's go.”

Hunter takes Antech out of the cell with some pain to Antech from the cross symbols around the cell door and leads him by from behind with his cross hand up to a arena down there. Once inside Antech sees a statue with two swords sticking out of it. They walk up to it and Hunter pulls one out with his left hand.

“Now you draw,” Hunter says to Antech.

“Sure,” Antech says and quickly draws a sword and then thrusts the sword at Hunter quickly hoping to kill him quickly and end this shit.

But Hunter dodges it with unmatched speed and parries it.

Next Antech draws back and starts do repeated thrusts at Hunter who just dodges and parries each one.

Soon Antech is pissed so he changes his game tactics and starts using some of his more unusual abilities. He turns into red fog and floats through Hunter to his back and reverts back.

Hunter turns around and gets sharp steel in the gut. He falls to one knee as Antech pulls out.

“Looks like your beat. Have anything to say before I kill you?” Antech tells Hunter.

Hunter just then starts laughing like a lunatic out load.

“Well the fuck is your problem?” Antech says to him.

“That I'm sorry friend but its game over for you,” Hunter says and stands up and starts to drools out his mouth and his eyes roll back into his head and his body convulses.

Antech looks in amazement as Hunter starts to change. His torso turns dark green and scaled with sharp points on the shoulders like armor spikes but its flesh. His bottom section bellow his waist but for his feet turns dark red with sharp points on his knees caps like his torso. His feet are light green and flipper like. His left arm turns now three times a big and muscular but dead with a large clawed hand. His right hand turns plant-like green with blue rose flowers on the tips of his fingers and the rest of his right arm is robotic steel metal. His head is dark brown with blond hair that flows like a mane all the way to his waist, with no pupils in his eyes, and dagger like teeth. He has black bat wings on his back and a long black demon tail.

“Wh, wh, what are YOU!” Antech yells at the new Hunter.

“I call myself and what I am is NIGHTMNARE!!! I am the total of many of you creatures combined. Now sleep!” Hunter or Nightmare says and drops his sword and points his open palm at Antech who sees he still bears the cross in it.

Then Nightmare does something that Antech wasn't expecting. He blasts him with holy energy from the cross and knocks him down and out. Next Nightmare bites the knocked out Antech on the arm and tears off a piece of dead flesh and eats it. He shakes with enjoyment then looks at the fallen vampire. He grabs him with his strong arm and picks him up and brings him to a teleportation room with a one way teleportation device to his cell and teleports him away. He waits for Antech to wake up while in his Hunter form in his chambers.
