Original Stories Fan Fiction ❯ Through Harushi's Eyes ❯ School ( Chapter 5 )
[ P - Pre-Teen ]
The next day at school, Yuji came running to Harushi with a wonderful idea. “Harushi! I’ve got an idea!” He exclaimed. “We could find a room at lunch and practice!” Harushi had no idea of what he was saying.
“What do you mean? Practice what?” she asked.
“You know!” he replied. Harushi realised.
“Are you doing this just so you could be with me?” she asked. Yuji blushed.
“No, I thought we could...” he started, but Harushi interrupted.
“It’s a good idea, but too risky.” She concluded.
“Oh.”
“I got it! Meet me there at lunch.” She said as she pointed at an old cherry blossom tree. Yuji nodded, and they walked away. “I hope it will work” Harushi thought as she walked down the hallway. She walked up to her locker, and she reached into her bag to find the code. “Uh, where is it!” she yelled at her lifeless bag. As she was searching, she heard a slight click. She looked up slowly. “No way. It’s open.” She looked wide eyed at her locker, trying to find an explanation. RING-RING!!! She stood there until she was the only one left in the hallway. One of her books slipped out of her locker. The noise took her back to reality. She picked up the book on the floor, and ran into any random room, knowing she was late. She somehow knew the locker would close itself, and she knew when she heard the bang. She sat in her seat. She looked at the board. From all the mumble-jumble on it, she knew it was the maths room, which just happened to be the room she was meant to be in.
“Miss Kazuma! Why are you so late!? “Said the seemingly evil teacher as he glared at her.
“Um, I had a little trouble with my locker.” She said while scratching her head. She wasn’t lying. She reached into her bag to get the book. It was the right one.
“Oh my gosh! The locker, the room, and now this! Is this luck or what?!” she stared at the book with a grin. One very confused girl looked at Harushi staring at the book.
“What is it? “She asked.
“Oh, nothing.” Harushi replied. “I better not freak out again.”
