Prologue - A Legend is Born


In a small house, in the small town of Pallet, a dark haired boy sits, staring out the
window. A single pidgey flies bye and the boy imagines, dreams that for one moment he could be
free and fly like the pidgey. Tonight, he thinks, tonight, I gain my freedom. He grabs his bag
with his supplies: empty pokeballs, potions, food clothes, laptop, and... a pokedex, given to
him secretly by his friend David Oak, who's father is the best trainer in all of pallet.
As he walked silently through the hallway towards the front door, he peaks into his
mother's room. 'goodbye' he thought. As he walked out the door, he knew somehow that he
would never return to the poor town of Pallette....


8 years later.....

That same boy, now a man stands next to his wife as his son is brought into life. With
the new born child in her arms, his wife begins to cry, yet not out of sadness, but out of
pure joy. The father takes his son into his arms, and stairs into the babies eyes, it's
mother's eyes. He gives her the child and jumps when his cell phone beeps.He picks
it up and answers...

Father: Hello?... Team Rocket again?.... What!?! .... Damn! Why didn't you stop them?!?!...
That's insane!!... how could there be that many?!?!... I'm on my way.. *Click*

With that, he kisses his wife, and pulls out a poke ball. He throws it out the hostpital
window and jumps out on to the pidgeot that awaits him. He flies off completely oblivious that
he will not live to see his wife ever again...

Nurse: What will you name him?

Mother: I will call him.... Ash.

*End prologue*
