The Next Morning

Misty - Good morning, Ash! (they were lying down on the island in the middle of the pool) Umm . . . Ash . . . look up . . .

Ash - What?! (he looks up to the stands) OH CRAP! (fumbles around for a cover because he's only wearing his underwear)

Delia Ketchum - I hope those are clean underwear!

Prof. Oak - What the?

Misty - (wearing her underclothes and a towel) It's okay it's the same as wearing a bathing suit, Ash.

Ash - What the heck - my mom with the Professor?

Delia - My Ash with… (squints) oh that's Misty. Couldn't quite tell…

Prof. Oak - Well, it is her gym…

Delia - Well, she sure has grown since I last saw her… How old was she…

Prof. Oak - I thought she was a year older then Ash.

Delia - Oh…

Prof. Oak - Don't tell me you're forgotten how old you own son is?

Delia - No, of course not… umm maybe… he'll always be my little boy… (smiles cheerfully)

Prof. Oak - He's as old as Gary so he's 17. That makes Misty 18.

Delia - Oh my, she's old enough to vote…

Prof. Oak - (sweatdrops)

(Meanwhile)

Ash - Misty, I don't like how my mom and Professor Oak are together . . . it's weird . . .

Misty - But isn't wearing Team Rocket™ underwear weird too?

Ash - Hey, I happen to like them. They may be criminals, but their merchandise is trendy and comfortable.

Misty - Whatever . . . (stands up)

Prof. Oak - How many children do you have?

Delia - I think about 4. (laughs)

Ash - Mom . . . You only have one kid. (jumps into water and swims to the other side)

Delia - Actually Ash, you have a brother and two sisters that with your (shivers) father.

Ash - How come you have never told me this before?! (helps Misty out of the water)

Delia - I don't like talking about 'him'. (gives evil grin) So, Professor where do you want to go now? (smiles like nothing happened)

Prof. Oak - I don't care. (they get up and leave)

Misty - Ash, are you okay? (she looks at Ash)

Ash - I can't believe I have siblings. I wonder what they're like.

Misty - Well, if they are anything like my sisters you're better off without them.

Daisy - Hey, I like, can't believe you would say that!

Misty - Oh sorry, I didn't see you there.

Gary - Ash, where are all your clothes?

Ash - Oops, back there. (hits his head and looks behind him)

Misty - Actually, I brought them (hands him his clothes)

Ash - Thanks (gets dressed) Now, that I'm fully dressed, I'm going to find my siblings.

Gary - You mean . . . Jonathan, Erika, and Andrea O'Connor.

Ash - How did you know?

Gary - I over heard your mom telling the Professor.

Ash - Thanks, now I don't have to find their names. (heads out the door)

Misty - (leaving with Ash) Bye, guys!

Ash - What is the best way to find out where someone lives?

Misty - Let's look them up in the phonebook! (goes back inside and returns with a phone book) Okay, O'Connor . . . O'Connor . . . O'Connor. There are 6 O'Connor's.

Ash - What one's the closest to where we are?

Misty - (rips out the page) There's one down the street. (Ash pulls Misty down the street to the first house)

(Ash rang the doorbell of the first house)

(strange noises can be heard from behind the door)

(High pitched voice) - Just a minute! (door opens and a freakily dressed Fernando stands there) Good, you're not Randy's wife, Melody.

Ash - Why are you everywhere?! (angrily storms away) ARGH! WHY?! (runs into someone hiding behind the bushes) Oh it's you Melody - Tracey - Rudy. (he turns back to Melody) You don't have to worry about your husband because he's cheating on you. (Misty comes up behind him)

Misty - Are we leaving?

Ash - Yeah, where's the next one?

Misty - (checks the list) Um, looks like it's close to where the Professor lives.

Ash - Okay! (walks off annoyingly) COMING!? (Misty follows hurridly after Ash)

Ash - (rings the second doorbell) If this turns out to be someone else we know, I'm leaving. (hears footsteps running towards the door and something thump into it)

(it opens to a young girl) - Hi, who are you?

Ash - I'm Ash Ketchum, what's your name?

Girl - (in a shy voice) I'm Andrea Kierel O'Connor. (She laughs) Do you wanna talk to my big brudder?

(A boy slightly taller than Ash appears) - Andrea, who's this?

Andrea - It's Ass Ketchup. And that girl with him is . . . uh . . .

Misty - (steps forward) I'm Misty Waterflower.

Boy - Oh, hello Misty. (somehow makes her name sound like Goddess) I'm Jonathan O'Connor. How can I help you? (smiles)

Ash - Hello? I'm here.

Misty - (giggles) No need to get jealous Ash, take it away.

Ash - Yeah, uh. I'm just here because I found out that I that think you guys are my siblings.

Jon - Um . . . okay. Hey Erika come over here!

(A girl who looks about 2 years younger than Jon appears)

Erika - Hey, what's going on?

Jon - This guy here, Ash was it? Well, he's saying that he's our brother.

Erika - Well, that makes sense. (looks mildly surprised)

Jon - Huh? What'da you mean?

Erika - We knew that dad had a son with his last wife. We just never met him.

Andrea - You mean you're my brudder, too?

Ash - Yeah, I guess I am . . .

Erika - Yeah, you kinda look like us. (they all have lightning-bolts on their cheeks)

Jon - So, do you want to maybe come in? (puts hand out in front of Misty and helps her in, closing the door behind them)

Ash - HEY! (Misty opens the door)

Misty - I'm sorry, but I'm with him Jon. (she puts her arm around Ash)

Ash - Yeah! (does the 'she's mine' dance) So, stop hitting on her? (They enter the kitchen) Umm . . . hi.

Dad - Hi, who are you?

Andrea - He my brudder!

Dad - Oh, so you're Ash.

Ash - Oh, so you're Dad.

Misty - Um, why did you all say that Ash is from your dad's first marriage? Mrs. Ketchum said that she had 3 other children who lived with their dad. You're all her kids too.

Jon - What?!

Dad - Oh crap, why'd you have to say that?

Erika - Dad, why haven't you told us that?

Andrea - You mean Mommy isn't our mommy?

Dad - Well, technically, she's your stepmother. I just never told you, then again you never asked.

Ash - Don't feel bad, my mum never told me about you guys.

Erika - What's she like?

Ash - Here, I have a picture of her in my wallet. (pulls out picture)

Jon - (acts like Brock after seeing a girl) She's beautiful, but whose that?

Ash - That's Mr. Mime. He's like her maid.

Misty - You guys will really like her, she's the sweetest lady.

Erika - I would like to meet her!

Jon - Anyone's better then this @$$hole we call dad.

@$$hole - Hey, I'm standing right here.

Jon - Sorry. So, let's go on! (he runs out into the front yard with his siblings and Misty)

Ash - Bye! It was nice to meet you.
