The Underwater Horror-Chapter 4

Being Azul's only twin sister, she was able to do things that Azul never experienced. Of course, she had training and knew what was expected. She was granted gifts of strength, knowledge, and natural talent at birth. Strangely, Azul was very kind about her being the `Chosen One' and him being left out, too kind for a brother to be, especially a twin brother, anyway. No one expected him to serve for the princess (aka his twin sister) as much as him. If he ever got tired of looking for berries, he never groaned. If his share was rotten, he gave no complaint. He must have grown tired of it, because then came the famous saying of `avoid him, or you'll be stuck with one of his games…'.

Now, come to think of it, if she really let her brother fall into those hands (they already are, but she was going on a rescue mission to save him and that thought counts, right?), what will the others think of her? Will they take her place to someone else? Or maybe punish her (wait a sec, I'm the princess, they can't touch me if they wanted too)? It didn't matter. She was already definite that she could get him back (not saying this aloud incase she was wrong, but the good guy always wins so you know what is going to happen anyway). It seemed simple enough. They gave him back his power, but not so he can fly away whenever he wants. Garnet grumbled. She knew she couldn't have barged in anytime she wanted anyway, how stupid does he think she is? Garnet watched anxiously as Azul started glowing a purplish color (just an energy field of some sort, no need to worry). The orb spun around, making Garnet dizzy from watching. Slowly, the view was starting to blur. Garnet watched helplessly as her twin was forced to close his eyes and focus his energy however they wanted him. She found herself back in Mystic Village and the scent of Wailmer Ocean again.

Still willing to help her brother, she threw a stick over the fence testily. All of a sudden, the stick bounced back and a loud beeping noise was heard. It was so loud, some few Tailows fell out of their nest. The siren seemed to have alarmed some other pokemon too, for everywhere, there were rustling sounds. "What's going on?" a young Zigzagoon asked. "GO AWAY!……….GO AWAY!………..STAY AWAY!……………STAY AWAY…!" The sirens screamed on like rain that was never going to end. "Who's there?" A figure appeared near the fence angrily. Garnet nearly dropped out of the sky in shock. The figure was wearing a pirate-like uniform and growling angrily at the nearby pokemon. "Oh great." Garnet grumbled. "He's from Team Aqua!" "Who's there?" He repeated and threw an empty can at them. It rebounded easily and hit him instead. "OW! Hey, you maniacs!" He hollered at the pokemon giggling feverishly at him. Unfortunately, he didn't understand that that was a laugh and screamed as if they were going to advance at him. "No! I didn't do anything! Oww, Archie was so stupid to do that…that really hurt…" he cursed and turned to face another member. "You're cursing the boss?" The other grunt asked, obviously annoyed. "You can't even deal with pokemon, how do you call yourself worthy enough for Team Aqua? Hey! You there! Don't you dare attack me, fine, you asked for it!" The grunt turned to the little Zigzagoon and threw a pokeball. "I'll find use in this tiny thing." He smirked as he snatched the pokeball and laughed horribly. "Hey, why didn't rebound like it should have?" The other grunt said, his head refusing to let him forget what happened. "You didn't know, Turkey Brain? There is a certain area that is unprotected by the barrier. It's too high for any pokemon to reach, but we can reach it." He pointed above the fence. "Just about…here!" His finger pushed through an invisible barrier and an angry Zigzagoon tried to nip it. "Nope, ya can't get it, you scatterbrain!" He cried as the Zigzagoon ran off, chattering angrily about how one of their young was captured. Garnet was now positioned behind a few trees, trying to memorize where he put his finger through. She impatiently blew at them like a howling wind ready to strike. "Hey, gettin' windy here. Boss will be pleased you got another freak to train." Their laughs sounded like a foghorn and ran inside to duck a few flying coconuts that Garnet pulled off to carry in her `wind' and hit them until they went inside.

Okay, my twin brother is trapped in this machine and has no access to his powers anymore. I know there is a space in the barrier so all I have to do is get through it, right? Wait, I might need some backup…She flew as fast as she could back to Quiet Canyon and tried not to startle the sleeping Slowpoke. She went into a small tunnel that led to a gigantic Snorlax. "ZZZZZZZ!" The Snorlax snored. "Great! So Sleepy had to pick now for a nap?" "Not just a liddle nap, Miss Garnet." She saw an approaching Slakoth. "Lazy! Aren't you supposed to be up your tree, sleeping to your heart's content?" Garnet joked. No need to be quiet, Sleepy the Snorlax could sleep through an earthquake if he wanted to. Lazy bowed and said in his slow voice, "Miss, Mr. Sleepy had just eaten his lunch. That might put `im off fer a week!" "Great…just perfect." She murmured.

"Oh no, not the King of Dreams!" She moaned as a gigantic Slaking appeared. "King Dreamer, you said ya were going ta sleep through lunch `n' dinner!" Lazy exclaimed, trying to hide giggles because King Dreamer liked wearing a sleeping cap he found. "Miss Garnet, why are you here? Aren't you on a mission to save Aron Cave from sheer destruction?" He asked lazily. "Hang on, what about Aron Cave and-what?!" She cried, she couldn't hide a smile at lest. "Oh, you already finished? Then where's the celebration?!" He bellowed, now licking his lips. "F-food! And best of all, lots of p-pizza!" He cried, sinking onto a mat and drooled over another one of his food dreams.

"Well, that's not going to help me." Garnet sighed and grabbed Lazy's arm. "Well, you will have to do. Come on! Off to Wailmer Ocean!" "Wait! Why there? Why not Mossdeep, or even betta, Mauville!" He laughed at his joke. "No, I'm serious! Azul is caught and you are the only one to help!" Garnet cried as time ticked by. "We need to get-there-y-yere!" They screamed as the canyon started flooding with water. She forced Lazy on top and grabbed King Dreamer and Sleepy. Sighing, she shoved each into a different closet. She grabbed some sleeping maids and pushed them into the pantry. When she returned, she saw Lazy trying to wake the sleeping Slowpoke a ledge below him while the water rised on still. "Come on, yer life depends on tis! Just wake up, or I'll make ya!" One Slowpoke woke up (only because Lazy poked him with a stick) and climbed to safer grounds drowsily where he fell asleep without a care in the world. Garnet grabbed the rest of the Slowpokes and dropped them into some bushes. "They won't mind." She said hastily as the Slowpokes stirred sleepily. "They would thank me if they could." She tried to levitate Lazy, but she was inexperienced and slow at this. "Oh well, this is urgent, you musn't mind if I carry you…" She trailed of as Lazy pointed to a floating lab on the new river. The lab slowly sunk to the deep, and a cackling laugh was heard. "You fools of the pokemon world, listen now! I have taken your canyon, and more soon! Thanks to this legendary pokemon, I can levitate easily with a push of a button! Soon, the whole world will be water! HAHAHA! Hey, why doesn't it sound right? How do those people laugh so evilish when I've accomplished more?" "Psst, master! Wailmer Ocean overflowed, like you said. And Quiet canyon is flooded. Now we're up to Aron Cave!" "OK, then do it! But we must transform into a submarine, if we want to know where we are going underwater." "Yes sir!" Some Team Aqua grunts said. And they disappeared underwater. "They stole yer twin Azul?" Lazy asked, clearly astonished. "Is tat what was so urgent?" "Yes." Garnet answered gloomily. "And they have taken your home. But now that they have a submarine, it'll be tougher than I thought. Just go and warn everyone at Aron Cave, there's not much we can do, just hope that something will go wrong." And like any miracle, her wish came true.

"Just what are you doing, Team Aqua?" "Flooding the world, and keep out of the way, you Team Magma!" "No way are we `keeping out of the way'! We will expand the world's land mass! And you can't stop us!" "These water pokemon are cooler than land bugs, the least we could do is to expand oceans to repay for our pollution!" "Archie! Are you crazy? To let everything drown? Land is better!" "No way, now Maxie, step aside! We have the most powerful pokemon in the world, and not even you can stand in the way!" "This calls for a pokemon duel, go!" There were a chorus of gos, and a pokemon war has begun. "Lazy, I think we should use this time to do something instead of hide in the trees…!" "O-oh, um, yah…do something…" Lazy smiled weakly and crawled off his favorite tree.
