AN: Now it’s time to hit the party…and for Danny to meet the other half of his Soul…in a new light.

Note: “*…*” means Animarium or Hunter language and *…* means talking mentally.

“I can’t believe it…you live here?” Ebony asked Alyssa as the SUV stopped in front of the grand house of Celine Ortiz.

“It’s a big house and Cole is a part of her Family,” Alyssa said as they and Taylor got out of the car, “What’s so hart to believe?” Alyssa looked playful as her short black hair was in two low ponytails, showing off the brightness of her brown eyes and beige skin. More so in a pink t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

“I just can’t believe that the richest woman in the state…is letting me have my birthday party here,” Ebony said as she saw the two vans parked in the driveway. Her friends from school and her self-defense group were brought to the area for the party.

She still in shock that she’s having her birthday party in a beautiful area…and with Danny.

“Let’s get upstairs so you can get ready,” Taylor Earhardt said as she brushed her long blood hair from her beige skinned face and brown eyes. Wearing a yellow shirt with her jean shorts and sandals, she was a beautiful woman…who can be like the boys at times.

“What do you mean?” Ebony said as they entered the house and went up the stairs, “I’m wearing my best jeans.”

“You’ll see,” Taylor replied as she stopped at a door and open it.

Ebony was surprised to see a beautiful bedroom in purple and white that was like a dream. She saw a big iron bed full of pillows near the doors to the balcony. With the wood and iron dresser, side tables and computer desk; the room was classy and beautiful.

She entered the room and said, “This room is like a dream.”

“We knew you’d like it,” Alyssa said as she and Taylor entered the room, “because it’s your room when you sleep over.”

“It also comes with a new wardrobe,” Taylor added as she went to open the closet full of clothes. She pulled out a purple lace dress and said, “Along with your party dress.”

Ebony was speechless at all that her Friends gave her.

Just then Celine entered the room and saw Ebony. With her brown hair in a French braid, Celine was calm and beautiful with her beige skin and brown-violet eyes. Today she was wearing a violet dress top and a long white skirt with matching sandals.

“Looks like you love your presents,” she said, “Including the makeover.”

Ebony smiled as she fingered one of her braids.

Early that day, Alyssa and Taylor took her to the beauty saloon to get her hair styled. Now her hair was in a half braids style while the rest was loose down her back. AN: Girls, you know the braid style you get at the beach? Well…like that…but only for the top half of the head. The look made her seem Mystical and beautiful at the same time.

“I just want to thank you for today,” Ebony said, “This is the best thing that could happen to me.”

“It’s ok, I’m more than happy to help,” Celine said as she looked into Ebony’s eyes. For a second, she saw something…that reminds her of someone…she hadn’t thought of in years.

She shook the thought out of her mind and gave Alyssa a look.

“Plus, the best is yet to come,” Alyssa added as she closed the door, “When we’re done, you’ll surprise everyone at the party…including Danny.”

Ebony took a deep breath as she saw them getting everything ready…for her new look.

The party was under way in the backyard as Danny Delgado was watching it from the back pouch. His dark brown eyes were darker against his medium beige skinned face and short black hair. While wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and boots, he was Mysterious and handsome.

Although he saw a lot of young…and beautiful girls, none of them caught his attention.

Unknown to the guests, he’s among those who Protect Turtle Cove from the monsters known as orgs. He’s been a Wild Bison Hunter for over 3,000 years…yet he felt it was longer. When the King of Animaria left the Valley known as the Animarium, Danny was chosen among others to become Hunters and Sleep with the Wild Enchantress for a thousand years.

Then, once awaken from the Spell; they Protected the Valley from the orgs. They hopped that other Hunters would return to help.

Over the years that hope faded…until two months ago.

“Hey Danny, how’s the party?” he heard from behind him.

Danny looked at Alyssa and said, “It’s going better than planned. Everyone is getting along…and waiting for the guest of honor.”

“Great,” Alyssa replied as she fixed the light pink dress. Alyssa isn’t only friendly and caring to all, she’s also the newest Hunter.

Danny’s Friend...and Leader Cole saved her from an org and discovered that she’s the heir of the Wild Tiger Hunter Powers. Not only did she believe that the Legend is True…she’s also Cole’s Lifemate.

Just then, she acted like she got a chill. He was about to ask when she said, “Cole…he always makes sure I’m thinking about him.”

Danny had to smile at that.

Once a Hunter finds his/her Lifemate, all color and feelings return…and prevented the darkness from turning a Hunter into an org. The Wild Hunters discovered that it’s possible that those Hunters who left may have produce heirs who can become Hunters.

It was true since Alyssa was half human…before her Conversion into a Hunter.

“Just like him to do…since he’s on patrol with Merrick and Max,” Taylor said as she joined them with Celine. She was wearing a yellow shirt and black skirt; she looks sexy and tough at the same time.

Danny smiled before he said softly, “Hello…Wild Enchantress.” Not only is Celine the richest woman in town, she’s also the Wild Enchantress and Mentor to the Hunters.

“And to you too, Danny,” she replied, “Could you go get Ebony. It’s time to start the party.”

With a small bow, he left the girls to go inside.

“You think he’ll be surprise?” Taylor asked.

“Trust me,” Celine said with a smile, “He’ll be speechless when he sees her. Let’s hope we have some good news soon.”

Danny was waiting in the front room when he thought about Ebony. He was surprised at how much she has changed since he started seeing her.

Just then, he Sensed a change in his Soul…that pushed the darkness away. He looked behind him towards the doorway…and saw the most beautiful sight in his life. In her purple lace dress that reached around her knees, Ebony was a dream as the jeweled hair pins glowed in the light.

At the Truth that he was seeing in color, he was surprised that the shy woman he befriended…is the Lifemate he waited centuries for.

She walked from the doorway and stood in front of Danny, a little shy that he was surprised at her new look. At the same time, she notices that he was looking at her as if…they were a couple.

“You look beautiful,” he said as he lightly brushed back her hair from her shoulder. Then, as he step closer to her, he held the back of her head. The desirer to kiss her was too strong to not fight against.

As much as she was scared at what’s happening between them, a part of her wanted this. So, without any fear, she looked into his eyes.

Seeing the Trust in her eyes, he brought his lips to her’s and he kissed her.

She felt a warmth though her body as she slowly return the kiss.

As he felt her kissing him, Danny felt like yelling to the heavens…to have the one person in his life who can save him from the darkness. As much as he wanted to Clam her there and then, he knew that he had to take it slow.

So, with one last kiss, he pulled away to look at her.

‘Wow,’ she thought as she looked at him, ‘he sure knows how to kiss a girl.’

Danny smiled, ‘hearing’ her thoughts with his Mental Powers, before saying, “Beautiful girls deserve a kiss on their birthday.”

“Thank you,” she replied, knowing there was more to it…that he wasn’t saying.

“I also have a Gift for you,” he added as he took out a small box from his pocket.

She accepted it and opened the box to see a purple and white beaded Bracelet with Clear and Purple Crystal Beads. “It’s beautiful,” she said as he took the Bracelet out of the box and placed it on her right wrist, “I Love it.”

“Your beauty makes it more beautiful,” he said as he wrapped his arm with her’s, “Ready to go to your party?”

“Sure,” she said.

He didn’t know how, but having Ebony at his side felt…right. After exchanging smiles, they headed for the backyard.

Everyone cheered the guest of honor…mixed with some good hearted cat calls from the guys. Danny leaded her to an area set up as a dance floor.

“Danny,” she whispered, “I don’t dance much.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll lead,” he replied as he looked at her, “Just keep your eyes on me.” He gentle held her hand in his as his other hand was at her waist, keeping her close to him…and closer to his heart.

She looked into his eyes…and all her fears faded away, leaving behind only strength and trust.

The music started to play and they started to slow dance to the song ‘Ámor Real’ Real Love.

It wasn’t long before the dance floor was full of other couples, both old and new.

“Looks like I was right about them,” Alyssa said as she, Taylor and Celine sat at a table, “They are Lifemates.”

“She so deserves him,” Celine added, “After the type of childhood she had, she earned the right at life.”

“And so much more,” a woman said as she joined their table.

“Hello Ms. Nieves,” Taylor said, “Looks like you’re ready for a party.”

Dressed in jeans and a dressy tank top, Mildred Nieves was enjoying her day off from her law firm office. She brushed back her short dark brown hair from her medium beige skinned face and dark eyes behind her glasses before saying, “Anyway, Tia’s at home waiting for an E-mail, but I brought Ebony’s gift from her.”

“The gift will have to wait until later,” Alyssa said as she looked at Ebony and Danny, “It might be a while before they stop dancing.”

‘It’s about time,’ Tia thought after closing her e-mail account. It was after sunset and Ebony was due home in a while.

As she stood up from her desk, a noise in the house caught her attention. She grabbed a bat she has on hand and walked out of the office.

She headed for the kitchen, seeing that it looked normal.

Then her cell phone vibrated in her jean pocket. She pulled it out, flipped it open and said, “Hello?”

“Hey Tia,” she heard Alyssa said, “We missed you at the party.”

“I know but it was an e-mail I had to answer it right away,” Tia said, “So, how did the party go?”

“Like a dream,” Alyssa replied, “Especially when it came time for the gifts.”

Ebony was surprised at all the gift cards, CDs and books she got as gifts…among other items. Her favorite is the Crystal earrings she got from Alyssa that matched her Pendant.

At that moment, Mildred sat next to her to give her a folder.

“What is it?” Ebony asked.

“It’s a gift from Tia and me,” Mildred said, “Open it and see.”

Ebony opened the folder and read the first few pages…before looking at Mildred in shock. “I can’t believe that she…but how?” Ebony said.

“Well, the judge has been keeping an eye on Frank…and discovered something on you,” Mildred replied, “It turns out that your Real Parents left a large inherence for you when you turn 18. The catch is if you were…mentally unstable, Frank would have gotten control of your inherence…that’s worth millions.”

Ebony was in full shock over the news…and how close Frank was to having it all. “But…why did Tia adopt me?” she asked.

“She really cares about you and wanted you to have a home,” Mildred replied, “She found out about your inherence after completing the adoption papers. Plus, this will prevent Frank from stealing your inherence.”

At that second, Ebony now knew how far Tia will go…to make her happy. “Thank you…” she said tearfully as she hugged Mildred.

Mildred return the hug, saying without words how much Ebony earned this.

“I’m so happy that she loved the gift of me as her Mom,” Tia said, “She deserves so much in life and I made sure that she gets that.”

“Well, lets hope for that and more,” Alyssa said, “Anyway, Ebony’s ready and I’ll drop her at the house in a few.”

“Right, see ya,” Tia said before ending the call.

She took another look around to be sure before heading out. She was heading for the living room when she was grabbed from behind.

A hand covered her mouth before she could scream for help.

Then she heard a male voice say, “You think you’re going to keep Ebony from me. Believe me, I’ll do what it takes…to get even with my step-daughter.

‘Frank,’ Tia thought…before the bat was taken from her. The last thing she remembered was getting hit on the head…before she blacked out.
