Lee's heart burned and his eyes stayed open without blinking once for a full minute of silence. “Wh-wh-wha-WHAT!?!” he whispered back in a stuttering question, “Say WHAT!?! You're asking me… Shin, you mean you're…?”

 

“I don't know,” Shin said back, “I'm really just kinda curious…” Oh… Lee thought sadly, I KNEW it wasn't for real… He's just asking me to be a toy for his curiosity? That's SO unlike Shin… “Sooo… you in?” Shin asked, “I mean, we'd still be friends, right? I don't wanna leave you in this awkward situation…” Lee interrupted him, “What do I get out of it?” Shin glared seriousness at Lee. “A first date,” Shin sternly answered, “You like a LOT of boys, but you never ask them out. Why don't you? Can't you tell who's gay or not? What are you waiting for?” Lee growled at Shin as if to order, “Shut up!” Thinking it wasn't enough, he gave Shin a beastly glare. “Do you want to go out or not?” Shin asked, irritated. Lee blushed hard. “O… Okay…” he finally accepted, “But when?”

 

“Why not now! Come on! Here's my stop!”

 

“Wait! Shin!”

 

Shin dragged Lee off the bus and up to his apartment complex. He pulled the key from his pocket and unlocked the door. Shin pretty much lived alone since he started high school. For some reason, he'd been doing fine on his own. Rumor has it he used his Leafe powers to sell his own potted plants and the money he earned was used to pay rent. He opened his apartment door and threw the keys onto the marble countertop separating the kitchen from the living room. “Come on in,” he invited Lee. Lee slowly followed Shin into the apartment, dropping his backpack by the couch and closing the door. I'm inside Shin's apartment… he mentally psyched himself out, Oh my god, I'm happy! “Hey, you thirsty?” Shin asked his date. Lee looked at Shin in the kitchen and replied, “No, but thanks anyways.” Feeling generous as always, especially to a friend, Shin got two sodas from the fridge. After closing the fridge door, he took the two sodas and sat himself onto the couch next to Lee, who had sat down while Shin was in the kitchen. “I got you a soda just in case,” Shin explained when he saw Lee's confused face directed at the second can. “Oh, thanks,” the other boy expressed with gratitude. He's so kind… he stated happily in his head, especially to me* That's one of the reasons why I'm so in love with Shin. But… I'm just his experiment, now… Seeing Lee's frown and thinking it was a bad sign, Shin thought hard about what Go would do. Nah… he thought, If it even comes up, I'll leave the sex until LATER… He switched his memory to what he thought Mannen would do. I remember Zacchaeus telling me that when he and Mannen first got together, it was kind of romantic in Himeno's backyard, he recalled, There was a little bit of gentle touching going on, but I don't want to scare Lee so quickly… Maybe I'll just go real slow on him. Yeah.
