Chapter 5

"You should have told me !" Exclaimed Seiji, while continuing to cry.
"Seiji, I couldn't. Touma had made me promise, just as you did. If I hadn't kept this promise, it would have been a long time before I had done something. I tried to push you two towards one another, but neither of you two would dare say anything," Shin explained as calmly as possible.
"Did he tell to you about his other secret ?" Ryo asked.
"No, I don't know what it is at all."

A doctor walked towards them. "Sirs, the visiting hours have ended and we should examine your friend's injury."

"All right." Shin leaned over Seiji and brushed the hair out of his eyes. "We'll come back later."

The blond nodded his head. He then caught one of Suiko's wrists before he could leave.

"Seiji ?"
"We have to find him, I have to tell him that I love him," The swordsman said with the saddest look in his eyes.

"What are we going to do to find him ?" Ryo asked, a little lost by what he had just learned.
"I'm going to try to call him with the link, hopefully he will answer." He closed his eyes and concentrated.

** Touma ? Do you hear me ? Answer me, it's very important. **

He tried for a long amount of time, but without any results. "Either he doesn't want to answer, or he cut off the link. While I'm thinking about it, we should call the manor, to see if Shu and Nasutei saw him." Shin took out his cell-phone and dialed the number.

Touma got out of a taxi several meters away from the manor. He edged behind the house and observed through the window of the kitchen. Seeing that no one was there, he entered without making any noise. He found Nasutei's small message on the door of the fridge that said that she had left to do some shopping with Shu.

The archer crept up the stairs that led to his room. By pushing the door, he felt a wind of sadness invade him. Behind the door, there were things full of memories, just as many good as bad.

He remembered the way Seiji had became his best friend very well. It was some time after that the troopers had beat Shikaisen. Touma had noticed that the blond wasn't acting very well since he had been rescued. The archer had insisted to know what happened at him so much that Seiji had ended up giving in and telling him about the nightmares he been having. It is like that little by little, a deeply bound friendship was settled.

He put some things in a bag and before exiting, gazed one last time at the room where he had discovered his love for Seiji. His eyes, misted over with tears, rested on the bed of the blond. There was a pullover of green color. Touma had always thought the blonde kendoist looked very sexy in it. He hesitated one moment, then crossed the room to pick up the pullover.

He came back down to go into the living room, but was stopped by the ringing of the telephone. Instinctively and by custom, he picked up the phone.

"Touma Hash-" Idiot ! Why did I answer ?
"Touma ?!?"

Recognizing Shin's voice, the archer put down the phone immediately. He entered the living room and walked in front of the fireplace where photos were arranged neatly. He took one off of it where they were all featured and another one where he was with Seiji.

"Touma ?!?" Shin exclaimed. "Hello ? Hello ? It isn't true ! He is at home ! Ryo, we have to go back now, maybe that we can stop him from leaving."

Suiko pulled Rekka by the arm leading him to the parking lot. Not even in the car completely, Ryo started and charged along in the direction of the manor.

They arrived in record time, but unfortunately they were already too late. Touma had already left and taken his things.

Shin sat down on the bed of the archer, by holding his head. "You are such an idiot Touma ! … No in fact, I'm the idiot ! If I had not made these stupid promises, they would have been a couple in no time at all !!!!" He began crying.

"Shhh, calm down. You don't know that for sure. Touma might have left because of his other secret anyway. What worries me now, is Seiji." Ryo took the warrior of the water in his arms to soothe him.

After having finished collecting his things, Touma climbed onto his motorcycle and left at random. He drove during long hours, without really realizing where he went.

When the night fell upon him and his eyes began to strain themselves, he stopped at a hotel. In his room, lying across his bed, he wondered what he was going to become of himself. He ended up falling asleep and had an unfortunate dream that regrettably would never become reality. A dream where Seiji took him in his arms and kissed him tenderly.
