Gin: I was wondering if people could tell me whether or not to put Inu back in

Kagome: Why wouldn't you?

Gin: Because he is a $%& %$#& @%*^&$ *^&#@&! And also because I don't have a part for him (AN:I am a true Inu fan at heart, but I'm just a little annoyed at him right now)

Sango: Where are the other characters

INTRODUCTIONS

~NO POV (KAG + SAN SIDE OF STORY)~

"WHAT?!" Sango exclaimed

"I'm saying we can't go back"

"WHY NOT?"

"First off I am completely drained and second I have already tried"

"WHAT?!"

**FLASHBACK**

Kagome got up in the middle of the night. She looked over at Sango. `I have to at least try' Kagome decided `I just hope that I'll be able to get back.'

Kagome jumped down the well. She closed her eyes, expecting to be surrounded by blue light. When her feet touch the ground, it was a hard sudden motion, not the floating she was used to. `Maybe I hit the ground like that `cause I am some what drained of energy' Kagome pondered.

She climbed up the well and saw Sango sleeping right there. `WHAT? WHAT'S GOING ON? WHY DIDN'T I GO ANYWHERE?' Kagome screamed internally so she wouldn't wake up Sango. Then curiosity coursed through out her and she touched the ledge of the well. `What? I can't feel any power radiating from the well. Even when I traveled through it there was always so power in the well.' Once she got over initial shock she sat down in the grass and tried to recall what exactly happened. Then it hit her. She gasped and looked down at the newly completed Shikon no Tama.

**END FLASHBACK**

"Sango, when we jumped in the well I think I might have made a wish on the Shikon Jewel."

"What do you mean Kagome?" Sango managed

"While we were falling I prayed to myself `please make it so Inuyasha can't reach us', and he can go to both the feudal era and my time so we were taken to a time he couldn't get to."

"But Kagome how did we get here? Was it your will?"

"No, I think the Shikon Jewel heard my thoughts somehow and thought that, that was a wish."

"Oh great, so now we're stuck here."

"It appears so, sorry Sango." Kagome said weakly.

"Its okay Kagome, it's not your fault. I don't blame you."

"But-"

"Kagome it's not your fault," Sango crooned, "If I have to blame someone I would blame the hanyou."

"Alright."

~NO POV (KEN SIDE OF STORY)~

For a while, he had been going down the same path that the girls were going down. When he found his short cut he lest the main road. It was a little passageway in the forest. The path leads to the back entrance of the dojo. While he walked down that trail he pondered, `I wonder if I'll ever be able to meet that girl in person. Oh well.'

When he walked through the gate he was greeted by the familiar yells of Ayame and Suzumi. "Uncle Ken" Ayame cried, "Uncle Ken come play with us!"

"Yeah play with us Uncle Ken!" Suzumi agreed.

"I'll make a deal with you two, that I will." Kenshin chuckled. "Let me relax for a moment, help me wash some clothes, and then I'll play with you guys, okay?"

"Okay!" They both cried while running off.

"So," a new voice commented, "I take it you're still kind of upset about the whole Karou incident."

Kenshin looked behind him and saw a tall man wearing white clothes that wore the symbol for bad on his back (AD: Yes he still wears that out fit. If I get enough complaints I may find away for him to get the exact same clothes with out the symbol on it. ^_^) He had brown hair and brown eyes to match. He had a piece of tall grass hanging out of his mouth (AN: Some of you may think it's disgusting, but at least it's better than the fish bones. v_v), and a red bandana around his forehead. "No Sano," Kenshin replied with a smile, "I actually think I'm over it."

"That's a relief," Sanoske (Spelling?) sighed. "Hm, wait a minute. How exactly did you get over it?"

Well…I…um…I…just…um…youR 30;see." Kenshin stuttered while a light blush graced his cheeks.

"Hah, I knew it. Who is she?" San grabbed Kenshin around the neck with one arm and gave him a noogie with the other.

"Ow, Sano that hurts."

"C'mon, who is she?"

"Sano, I have no idea what you're talking about. Ow, let go."

"What Kenshin found a woman?" A new voice called out. "Way to go Kenshin. I knew you had it in you." The one who spoke was a thirteen-year-old boy. She was wearing a yellow top and green pants (AN: Once again I have no idea what their called). He had brown eyes and black spikey hair. "When do I get to meet her? Kenshin you do know that you aren't allowed to go out with any girl with out our approval. Right Sano?"

"You got that right Yahiko."

"No. You guys, I really believe you are mistaken. I don't even know what you're talking about."

Yahiko and Sano were about to pester Sano some more when a fist came out of nowhere and knocked both of them down. The person who hit hem was a woman. She had long black hair and blue eyes. She was also tall. Her name was Megumi. Megumi hissed, "How can you guys doubt Sir. Ken's word? Further more you're bothering him." She then looked at Kenshin who had been released when Sano got hit. "Are you alright Sir. Ken?"

"Yes I'm fine. Thank you for your concern Miss Megumi." While saying this Kenshin got to his feet.

"You're most welcome." She turned to Sano and Yahiko, "Now you two, stop acting so childish."

"Wa? CHILDISH? Care to say that again." Sano fumed while cracking his knuckles.

"Look baka, I didn't come here to fight with you. I came here for a different reason." She turned to Kenshin and said, "Sir. Ken, Aoshi and Misao are on their way here. As well as some one named Sagiro Hiko (AN: For those of you who don't know that's Kenshin's master, and how's the spelling on that one?)."

"What?" Kenshin stuttered. "H-Hiko is coming?"

"Yes," replied Megumi, "And here is a letter from him." She took it out and started reading it, "To my stupid apprentice." As soon as Megumi said the title, Kenshin lost his footing and fell. On the other hand, Sano and Yahiko were laughing, but they were silenced by a look from Megumi. "To my stupid apprentice," she started again glaring at Sano and Yahiko, "I'm giving you the honor of having me as a guest. Now prepare your best food. P.S. Make sure you have decent Saké, for a change." After Megumi finished reading it everyone was looking aghast.

"Talk about conceded." Sano remarked.

"Well that's Hiko alright, though he could be more polite in a letter." Kenshin sighed. "I suppose we might as well do as he says. At least that way it won't be as bad as hell. When are they coming Miss Megumi?"

"All of them will be here by tomorrow. Aoshi and Misao in the morning, and Hiko at night."

"Kenshin!" Sano yelled, "Go get the food and Saké."

"Sigh…alright I'm leaving." Kenshin walked out the main entrance and head towards the market.

"Uncle Ken, Uncle Ken, where are you?" cried Ayame.

Megumi turned around and spoke to the children, "Sorry girls, Sir Ken had to go back to town. I'll play with you instead, okay?" the girls' merely nodded ands smiled.

"What a shock, the foxy lady is actually being nice." Sano remarked.

"Baka" Yahiko commented.

Megumi walked up to Sano and hit so hard that he was knocked out cold. "Serves you right baka." Yahiko said in a monotone voice.

"Let's go girls" Megumi smiled.

"What about rooster head?" Suzumi asked innocently.

Megumi looked over her shoulder and smirked at the unconscious Sano, who had been named rooster head by both Cho and Sito (AN: You won't meet Cho in this story, so forget I mentioned him; however, Sito will appear and Sano will become mad, oh will he become mad.) and never really gotten over it. If he were conscious he would be furious. `Ignorance is bliss' Megumi noted mentally. Then she spoke to the girls, "Oh him. He just needs a little time out. Let's ignore him. C'mon."

"Okay Auntie Megumi." the girls yelled as they followed her. Yahiko followed them too, `cause he didn't want to stay around an unconscious Sano.

~NO POV (KAG + SAN SIDE OF STORY)~

"What should we do Kagome?" Sango inquired.

"The only thing I can think of is trying to find a place to stay. From there we'll figure out how to reverse the wish that was accidentally placed on the Shikon no Tama." Kagome said while stifling a yawn.

"First let's take a nap. We need it after all the exploring we did. We're both exhausted." remarked Sango.

"Fine Sango."

They took refuge under a tree out of visibility of travelers walking down the road. They reason they chose it was because a large bush covered four feet of the gigantic tree's base. It seemed to be the best place they could find, so they rested there. As they both slipped onto unconsciousness Kagome felt Kirara curled up beside her. (AN: I just put that in there to remind you guys that Kirara is in this story. ^_^)

~ NO POV (KEN SIDE OF STORY)~

`Sigh. These bags are getting heavy.' Kenshin complained mentally. He knew that he would have to get more later. `Why can't Sano do this? I'm a swordsman not a behemoth (does he even know what a behemoth is?). This is what Sano specializes in.'

He came upon a tree and he felt that presence again. It was that same comforting presence. He was about to fall under its spell again, but he snapped himself out of it. He looked behind the tree and gasped in shock. The girl who gave of the tantalizing presence had an exquisite form, in fact both of them had an exquisite form. The one he was admiring at the moment, had raven waist length hair, and extremely delicate features. When he glanced at her outfit a strong blush covered his cheeks. They were extremely immodest. The skirt was way too short and too much of her upper legs were showing. In order to keep his raging hormones under control, he decided to convert his attention to her companion. Her black hair recede past her waist by a few good inches. Her style of clothing was acceptable but a bit out of date (AN: Like three centuries out of date, and she isn't wearing her exterminating outfit. It's inside Kagome's pack. She is also wearing her sword and boomerang, while Kagome has her arrows.); however, it was much more appropriate than her companions. He decided to wake them up. He bent down next to the one with indecent clothes on. The clothes, her appearance, and her aura were enough to heat his blood to almost inhuman temperatures. He somehow controlled his desires and gently shook the woman's shoulders trying to keep his gaze on her eyes. He only slipped once and glanced below her eyes.

~NO POV(KAG + SAN SIDE OF STORY)~

Someone shaking her gently waked Kagome up. She expected it to be Sango, but when she opened her eyes she saw a man with red hair, light purple eyes, and a cross-shaped scar on his left cheek. "Hentai!" she shrieked at the same time slapping his face really hard. The shriek awoke Sango and she immediately jumped to her feet.

"Oro?" asked the man who was holding his red cheek (AN: Unless I say otherwise Kenshin will always be the one saying "oro".).

"What do you think you're doing?" Sango commanded

The man replied with a smile, "You were sleeping and it's quite dangerous to take a nap of the main road, that it is. I was trying to wake you so you wouldn't be robbed while you rested."

Kagome's face softened when she heard those words. `He was doing it out of concern for us.' she thought. "I'm sorry about my earlier action. You merely took me by surprise. I ask for your forgiveness, Mr…um."

"Himura, Kenshin Himura."

Recognition suddenly flashed across Kagome's face. `I thought he looked familiar' Kagome mused. "Kenshin Himura, the Kenshin Himura?!"

~NO POV (KEN SIDE OF STORY)~

The older one spoke, "You know him."

The younger said, "Not exactly Sango. I know of him. You see he was a great hero of the Meiji Restoration."

Kenshin smiled. He didn't know why, but he was glad that this woman knew of him and respected him, which is odd `cause he usually doesn't like it when knew of him.

"He's a hero? I never would have guesses. And what's the Meiji Restoration?" the one named Sango asked.

"It might be best if you don't know…"

"Why?"

"Just because. Trust me on this."

"How do you know of it?" Sango interrogated.

"It's ancient history."

"Kagome, I'm ancient history."

"It's not that ancient." the girl named Kagome muttered.

Kenshin listened while the two girls fought with one another. He had never heard such an odd argument, well none of this nature anyway. `The only thing I gather from this conversation is one knows who I am and knows about the Meiji Restoration, while the other is completely lost. How come she doesn't know? It was an important ordeal throughout all of Japan? Could it be that she has amnesia?' Kenshin pondered.

~NO POV~

He snapped back to reality when the girls had finished squabbling and started glaring at each other. "Excuse me," Kenshin interrupted, "I'm terribly sorry for asking this, but does she have amnesia?"

Sango looked at Kenshin with annoyance, "I'll have you know that I do-"

"Yes it's very unfortunate. But I guess it's for the best if she doesn't remember it." Kagome interrupted. She gave a look to Sango and Sango merely nodded.

"What are your names?" Kenshin inquired

Kagome blushed when he asked their names. For some reason she had a flashback of how Kenshin's hand rested on her shoulder while he tried to wake her up. After swallowing a cough she answered, "My name is Kagome Higorashi. The cat sleeping by me feet is Kirara. And this over here is Sango."

`Kagome' Kenshin mused, `what a pretty name.' He was about to lose reality when he asked, "What's Sango's last name?"

"She…uh…doesn't remember her last name.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

`So am I' Sango mused trying her hardest to stifle her laughs.

Kagome heard Sango's mental comment and told her threw telepathy `Thanks for playing along.'

`No prob' Sango sent back.

"May I ask where you are going?" Kenshin asked politely.

`No' Sango thought. She had to admit she like the guy (AN: She likes his personality, he is reserved for Kagome. ^_^); however, she didn't trust him yet. She didn't want Kagome get hurt again.

Kagome decided to answer because she didn't want Sango being rude, "Oh, we're just wandering."

"ORO?!"

"What's that matter with that?" Sango asked trying not to bark at him, but failed miserably.

"Oh, I'm sorry, that I am." Kenshin apologized. "It's just that it sounded very familiar to me." He forced a smile after he said that.

Both Sango and Kagome could tell that the smile was forced. "It's okay," Sango said truly sounding sincere, "You don't have to force a smile for the sakes of others, especially if you don't feel like smiling. It's best if you don't smile when you don't feel like it. I have been telling Kagome for years not to smile for the sake of others whether they are concerned for her, or any other thing. And she still doesn't listen."

"You're one to talk Sango. You barely show any emotions at all around people." Kagome retorted.

"I do not!"

"You do to!"

All Kenshin could think was `Here we go again."

Gin: How did you like it?

Megumi: I'm just happy I got to slug that baka.

Sano: There's no way she could knock me out!

Gin: Megumi will you do the honor ^_^*

Megumi: Gladly (she walks over to San and punches him, causing him to lose consciousness)

Sano:@_@

Gin: Hehe. Point proven.

Kenshin: You shouldn't fight that you shouldn't.

Gin: You're one to talk you're the freaken battosai (spelling?)

Kenshin: (Kenshin's eyes turn crimson) die!!

Gin: Help me!!!!!!!!

Sango: What's wrong with Kenshin

Kagome: I'm not sure.

Megumi: Do you think he'll kill her?

Kagome: I'm not sure

Megumi: I hope not. If she dies then who is gonna let me knock out the baka.

Yahiko: Have you ever tried doing it without instructions

Megumi: What did you say? (walks up to Yahiko and hits him causing him to lose consciousness too)

Yahiko:@_@

Megumi: I feel much better.

(Gin comes back tired, but in one piece without any scratches. Kenshin is nowhere to be seen)

Sango: Where's Kenshin?

Gin: He's being punished.^_^

Kagome: Gulp.

Gin: He is getting the same treatment as Kagome (Kenshin is tied to a chair with duck tape over his mouth). ^_^

Gin: Anyway in the next chapter Kagome and Sango will meet Kenshin's friends including Aoshi and Misao, but Hiko yet. Please keep on voting for parings with Sango. Remember it is Sango/Aoshi and Sango/Sano. Thank you for reading chapter. Please read and review.
