Gin: Yo, welcome back. Oh and sorry it took so long. I had a big writer's block, and I still do actually. As you can see we have a new paring. I want to thanks the people who wrote the reviews and the people who told the correct spelling of Sano. I will also tell you who Cho and Sito are `cause I feel like it. Cho is the sword collector who worked for Shishio (Spelling?) until Kenshin defeated him and got a nee reverse blade sword in the process (He is officially named BROOMHEAD by Sano). Sito was a former member of the Sinsengumi (Spelling?) and a former enemy of Kenshin. He aided Kenshin in his mission against Shisho, and is currently a police officer (he was the one who named Misao weasel). He also loves to pick on Sano.

Kagome: Wow, that's a lot of info

Gin: I would also like to apologize to the people who didn't a vote. You see, my computer is SO DAMN SLOW that I have to get all my info of my school computer and that is really annoying. -_-************** etc.

Kenshin: Some on needs to calm her down, that they do!

Sango: How did you get free?

Kenshin: I cut myself free.

Kagome: With what?

Kenshin: My sword.

Kagome: How did you get your sword?

Kenshin: Gin left it a foot away from me (looks over at Gin who is currently cursing her computer and trying to destroy it with a metal bat, but is being held back by Sango.)

Gin: $@*% &#@!! (throws the bat, which happens to hit Kenshin on the head.)

Kenshin: @_@

Sango: Kagome! I could use a little help over here! (is still trying to hold back Gin from destroying her computer.)

Kagome: Since Kenshin has been knocked out, and Gin has gone insane while Sango has her hands full trying to restrain Gin, it will appears I have to start the story. Read and enjoy!

Sango: KAGOME! (Kagome runs over and helps Sango restrain Gin)

Kenshin looked at Sango and Kagome, who were walking behind him. He wasn't exactly sure how his friends would react when he would bring the two women and the two-tailed cat to the dojo with him.

"Excuse me." Kenshin said once the girls bickering had subsided. "Where are you staying?"

"We aren't staying anywhere!" Sango countered.

"Well we have plenty of room at the dojo. Perhaps you would like to stay there until you can find a more permanent place."

"We would love to." Kagome put in before Sango could before Sango could say anything.

<Sango, this will answer where we are gonna stay. It will give us time to find a way out of here.>

<Fine.>

"If I may warn you that I'm in the company of a boy named Yahiko, a man named Sanosuke, two little girls, and occasionally with a woman named Megumi. We are also expecting visitors tomorrow. In the morning a man named Aoshi and a girl named Misao will come, and at night a man name Hiko will come." Kenshin informed them (What a mouthful, huh? ^_^)

"Alright let's go Sango!"

Kenshin watched as the one whom's aura captivated him earlier picked up a bow with some arrows and a katana. Her friend picked up a large boomerang and a katana as well. The cat also jumped on Sango's shoulder. Kenshin picked up what he had and said, "Please follow me if you will."

As Kenshin walked through the gate he was once again greeted by the yells of Ayame and Suzumi, "Uncle Ken is back. Uncle Ken is back." The girls ran to him and each of them hung on a different leg. Kenshin glanced at the two girls behind him who were clearly confused.

"Hey Kenshin," Yahiko yelled. "What took-Oh hello." He apparently just noticed the two girls behind Kenshin. "My name is Yahiko. Who are you?"

"I'm Kagome."

"I'm Sango and the cat is Kirara."

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Sanosuke Sagara," at tall man behind Yahiko, announced.

"Likewise, I'm sure" Sango replied.

`Something' about that girl kinda reminds me of Megumi,' Sano and Yahiko thought about Sango at the exact same time.

Sano walked up to the girls and put a hand on Kagome's shoulder. Kenshin stiffened at this motion, as did Sango; however, unlike Kenshin, Sango was also glaring at Sano. "Hey," Sano said trying to sound really nice and sincere. "I want you to know that you can always ask me for help."

All Kenshin could do at his point was glare at Sano just like Sango was doing. HE took a moment to look at Sango, and noticed that she was restraining herself from harming Sano in any way. He also noticed that Sano would occasionally glance at Sango through his speech that made absolutely no sense at all, considering his personality of course. `He's trying to figure out if Sango is in any way like Megumi. Considering his lack of knowledge, I suppose it is a smart move; however, it became idiotic once he realized that it bothered the girl, and he wouldn't stop teasing her. I suppose I should tell him to stop, but I want to see how this ends up.'

After one minute of torture to Sango (watching Sano's hand on Kagome's shoulder) Sango was about to break. When Sano took one step closer to Kagome her self-control shattered. She grabbed eh back of her boomerang and brought it over her head. At moment after she did this she sent it flying down into Sano's head, rendering him unconscious.

Yahiko and Kenshin watched the entire thing. `I was wondering what that thing was for. Although I didn't expect her to be that strong, and apparently neither did Sano.' Kenshin mused.

Yahiko was absolutely stunned. `I had no idea that she was so good. I'm totally shocked. I can't believe that she knocked out Sano. It was fun to watch nevertheless.' Yahiko mused as well.

A woman behind Yahiko busted out laughing. They all looked to see who it was. "That's Megumi, that she is." Kenshin stated.

"Who are they?" Megumi inquired.

"The one with the weapon is Sango and the other is Kagome. The odd looking cat at their feet is Kirara." Yahiko answered.

<Kagome. Doesn't he seem a bit like Miroku> Sango asked telepathically glancing at Sano.

Sango bursted out laughing when Kagome said that through telepathy, earning her share of curious glances from the people who were left out of their little conversation. She flushed from embarrassment when they wouldn't look away from her. "Um… Kirara was tickling me with her tail." Sango quickly told everyone. They all seemed to accept this because the fire neko would occasionally rub up against Sango's leg.

"Sir Ken?" Megumi asked, "May I ask why they are here?"

"I'm allowing them to stay with us for the time being."

"But Sir Ken, would that be wise? Everyone one is visiting tomorrow."

"Don't worry Miss Megumi," Kagome replied extremely sweetly. "I understand that no one here besides you is a very good cook, and I'm sure that you don't want to run over here each time a meal needs to be prepared. I think it's quite convient because while we are here Sango and I will cook for you `cause we have experience in that field."

"Kagome is better than me." Sango added.

"It's settled then," Yahiko exclaimed, "They'll cook while they are here. The least we could do is give them… um… more in style clothing; besides, Ayame and Suzimi will have more females to play with."

"Yay!" cried Ayame and Suzumi.

"And what's wrong with my clothes?" Sango interrogated.

"Nothing!" Yahiko cried out. "It's just your friend's…"

"Oh!" Kagome exclaimed. "I'm so sorry. I'll go see what I can change into immediately. Miss Megumi will you show me what I cam change into?" When Kagome said all of this, a little blush graced her cheeks.

"No need Kagome." Sango stated. Everyone looked at her as if she was mad. "Remember Kagome, Sesshoumaru gave you all of those kimonos after you finally earned his respect by healing Rin."

"Oh yeah. How could I forget about them?" Kagome said in an outburst. "But wouldn't that be a little too fancy?"

"Not at all." Sango replied.

When Kagome walked into a room to change Kenshin received a large amount of confusing emotions. `Why do I feel this way? I'm glad that she is less revealing to others, so she does receive so much attention. I guess I `m also upset because I won't be able to see her in that sorry excuse for an outfit (AN: Kenshin is NOT a hentai). And strangely enough I'm jealous. I'm jealous of the fact that she will be wearing something that another male gave to her. Sigh. Maybe I'm just tired.' Kenshin pondered.

While Kagome looked through her pack she found a black dress made out of silk. It went all the way down to her ankles. It had a red neckline, and a slit that went up the right leg, from the hem to mid-thigh. She was also given black high heel shoes to go along with it (AN: this is MY fanfic, so in this world they have high heel shoes). She decided to put it aside for tomorrow; it would make a better impression. She then found a beautiful light blue kimono with white roses on it. When she stepped outside with it on, all anyone could do was attempt to not have their jaw drop to the floor, though they failed miserably (AN: Sano is still knocked out and won't be seen till tomorrow).

When she stepped outside Kenshin was absolutely stunned. The kimono's design seemed simple enough, but it was so old-fashioned and extremely rare, especially with the silk it was made from.

"Isn't that a bit much?" Sango asked.

"It was the least extravagant thing I could find," Kagome countered. "Besides I'm saving the interesting stuff for tomorrow.

The last comment earned a grin from Sango and a look of utter confusion from Kenshin. `I don't know who this Sesshoumaru is, but suddenly I don't like him.' Kenshin thought.

For dinner Kagome had cooked. Everyone (who still was conscious) really enjoyed it. Megumi was satisfied and agreed it was a good idea that she cooked while she was here. After dinner everyone decided to retire. Kenshin went to his room; Yahiko dragged Sano into one guest room before going to his own, while the woman cleaned up. Kenshin had offered to help, but Kagome wouldn't allow it.

"So, where are you guys from?" Megumi asked with interest.

"I'm from Tokyo, and Sango doesn't remember. When I first met her she was walking in a ruined village." Kagome answered in a monotone voice.

"Megumi?" Sango inquired. "What is your profession?"

"I'm a doctor."

"Isn't I hard to see people die?" Sango asked.

"Yes it is. It hurts the soul. Why do you ask?"

Sango fell silent unable to answer, so Kagome answered for her. "The only thing Sango remembers of her family is seeing them all die. She has a scar along her back that she received from the incident that took away their lives, and nearly her own." While saying this Kagome traced the length of Sango's scar on her own back to show Megumi where it was and how large it was.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Megumi apologized.

"It's okay, you didn't do it," Sango replied. "Besides I have already avenged their deaths."

"Okay, enough of this subject!" Megumi exclaimed. "We really need to find something else to talk about. Um…now!"

"Why don't you tell us about the people who are coming tomorrow?" Kagome suggested.

"Yes. That would be nice," Sango added.

"Okay, first let's talk about Aoshi. He is a tall man with short black hair, and more green than blue eyes. He used to be Sir. Kenshin's enemy. After Kenshin finally made him realize his faults he said he would not hold a sword again; however, recently he has changed his mind on that certain philosophy. (She explains Aoshi's story, but I'm not gonna tell it `cause it's to long!)"

"Wow," was all Kagome could say.

"So, he might understand how I fell, in some way," Sango commented.

"Next is Misao. She is a ninja that acts extremely childish. She has long black hair that she braids, and green eyes. She is about your age Kagome, maybe a few years younger. She is extremely loud and energetic, and believes that she loves Aoshi. The poor guy. (She explains Misao's story, not gonna explain it is don't even ask.)"

"Almost reminds me of Shippo, almost," Kagome whispered.

"Not even close," Sango replied.

"Lastly there is Hiko. He is Kenshin's master. He is extremely conceited. (She explains Hiko's story, don't ask)"

"Well, now that we know just about everything, and all of the dishes are in order. Let's go to bed." Sango said. After she said this Kagome and Sango saw Megumi to the door before they went to their own rooms to retire.

*~*~* Morning

~NO POV (AOS + MIS SIDE OF STORY)~

They both walked down the streets of Tokyo heading towards the dojo. Misao had physically grown up and was receiving a lot of stares from the male population. Along with growing up, she had become extremely protective of Aoshi, (even though he didn't need it, and believe me he wish he didn't have it at all) and would attack anyone who showed interest for him or vice versa. Aoshi let the men stare because the love between them was one sided. She was the one who loved him, he couldn't careless (AN: Actually that's a lie. He doesn't want her feelings at all `cause it makes her annoying).

Once they were out of the square and Misao had calmed down after seeing all of those females look at Aoshi, Misao started talking, "Aoshi do you think that Kenshin is okay?"

"So you think he was affected in some way? I doubt it. Even if he was hurt he wou have found someway to get through the pain, one way or another."

"I hope you're right Aoshi."

"So do I."

~NO POV (DOJO SIDE OF STORY)~

Kagome b on the dress she put aside for today. When she walked out, (the know momentarily conscious) Sano could do nothing but gape along with the others. `What kind of outfit is that? I have never seen anything like that before.' Sano pondered.

Kenshin was also in a state of shock. `I thought the kimono was special, but this? I have never seen a design like that, and I that such a high slit.'

<Kagome why are you wearing that?> Sango asked telepathically.

<Don't you think it's a bit much?>

<I'm not sure. He said that it was a present to me `cause he feels as if I'm his sister or something, and that his sister deserved the best clothing possible. He said that I was more like a sibling to him than Inuyasha. He also said if ever need anything, or Inuyasha ever hurt me, he would do his best to help me.>

<Yeah, you're right Sango.>

<What did you say!?> Kagome chased Sango and hit her on the head.

"How dare you!?" Sango screeched, and ran after Kagome, who had fled, with her boomerang over her head.

~NO POV~

Aoshi and Misao walked up to the dojo door. They paced before the door (well at least Misao did). They didn't want to make them feel any worse than they already did. At one point they decided they were going to knock, but once they got within a step of the door they stopped dead. They had expected to here the silence of mourning, but what they heard was screaming, yelling, and to put it bluntly chaos.

Kenshin realized they here, and went to open the door. When he opened it, he saw a stunned Misao and Aoshi. "H-hello," Kenshin stuttered.

"What's going on in there Himura? It sounds like a war zone." Misao commented.

"I guess you could say that." Kenshin replied.

Aoshi and Misao watched as a giant boomerang appeared out of nowhere, and went soaring through the air. They all watched as it hit Sano and knocked him out (again. Poor Sano ^_^). They also followed the boomerang return to a young woman who caught it, causing her to be pushed a few feet back. Another young woman came out of the dojo, and glanced down at the unconscious Sano before saying, "Is it safe to come out yet?"

Aoshi looked at the one who held the large weapon, and was absolutely stunned. She was gorgeous. Her hair reached about mid-thigh, and here eyes were the color of light chocolate. She seemed extremely elegant. The other was just as beautiful. She had blue-green eyes (that's a very popular eye color isn't it?) and her hair reached her lower back. But something about the first girl caught his attention. He was forced out of his awe when Misao spoke.

"Himura? Who are they?" Misao interrogated. Realizing that they had an audience, the girls stopped chasing each other around and froze in their tracks. The younger one looked at her feet while ea faint blush crept across her cheeks. The older one just glared at them, as if trying to classify them as either friend or foe. Aoshi was once again pulled from his thoughts by Misao. "Hey Himura! Are you listening to ME? Who ARE they!?"

"The younger one is Kagome and the older is Sango. The cat at their feet is Kirara." Yahiko replied glanci down at the unconscious Sano, and sighing in the process. "Okay," he stated towards Sango. "What did he do this time?"

"I don't know what you mean." Sango grumbled.

"Why is he unconscious this time?" Yahiko rephrased.

"He go tin the way of my weapon, and was knocked out," Sango retorted. "It's his own fault for not looking where he was going."

"I guess that would be the case; however he wasn't moving, and he had been the exact same spot for over ten minutes." Kagome corrected.

"He should have been paying attention!"

"Sango, it's your fault and you know it!"

"Kagome!" the girl named Sango stressed out obviously trying to contain her temper. Her eyes glittered with spite. Kagome looked at her innocently before turning away.

"Now, now Sango. I only meant it as a joke." Kagome sighed.

"Sure," Sango said sarcastically, but smiling non-the less.

Aoshi couldn't take his eyes off of her. She looked beautiful no matter what; however, her smile increased it ten-fold. His eyes noticed everything about her (AN: I know I'm making him sound obsessed, but bare with me, kay?). He also noticed Misao didn't like either of them. For some reason the bothered her, and she was about to attack them. Both Kenshin and Aoshi noticed this and planned to stop her; however, a look from Sango told them not to meddle.

Misao attacked Sango first, since she was closest. She attacked her with one of her kicks, but Sango, who saw it coming, evaded it easily. Misao was absolutely bewildered. After she got over her initial shock, Misao attacked Kagome who was now closer to her than Sango. Kagome wasn't in a mood to be nice like Sango. Once she evaded Misao's attack, she karate chopped the back of her neck, making her momentarily immobile, and watched as she fell flaccidly to the ground. Once she had gained enough strength to roll onto her back, she did, and glared at Kagome since it was the only thing she could do.

"I don't know why you attacked us. We have never even met before, but be assured if you EVER do that again without rationale, I won't be as magnanimous," Kagome spat venomously.

Everyone, with the exception of Sango, looked at Kagome wide eyed. She always seemed so sweet and innocent, but they just saw a completely new side of her they never thought could possibly exist. Misao was the one who really got traumatized, especially considering that this malice was directed towards her.

"Ah…Kagome?" Yahiko asked looking a bit concerned.

"Yes?" Kagome looked up at him smiling extremely sweetly, as if none of this had ever occurred.

Yahiko just stared at her blinking for quite often in the process. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I just got fairly upset," Kagome answered.

Kagome rose from the immobile girl on the ground, and walked into the dojo. The men (`cause everyone there is male with the exception of Kagome, Sango, and Misao), and Misao just watched her with their mouths open (AN: Sano is still unconscious ^_^)

"Remember this," Sango said with cool demure. "Things aren't always as they seem."

Gin: Man that took a long time to write. In between having a major writers block, not being able to focus around the house while my older brother (who came home for thanksgiving) here, and trying to destroy my computer some many time, I'm actually surprised it didn't take longer.

Kagome: Do you think she calmed down?

Misao: Who knows!

Sango: Gin?

Gin: Yes? ^_^

Sango: Why did you make Misao attack us?

Gin: She's jealous. ^_^

Misao: WHAT!?

Gin: She doesn't like all the attention Aoshi is giving you two. ^_^

Kagome: Why would she be jealous of me?

Gin: I don't know. Misao is just weird! -_-

Misao: I'm not!

Gin: Yes you are. v_v

Misao: That's it! DIE!! (Misao attacks Gin)

Gin: (evades Misao's attack and knocks her unconscious. She drags her to a back room) v_v***************************************************************** etc.

Kagome: Where are you taking her? o.O

Gin: (grins wickedly at Kagome) Take a wild guess. ^_^*

Kagome: ~gulp~ (Gin disappears and all of the guys, and Megumi appear)

Kenshin: Hello! ^_^

Sango: hi. -_-

Aoshi: Where is Gin and Misao? (right on cue Gin reappears, alone, grinning like a madman ~ahem~ madwoman)

Aoshi: Never mind. Where is Misao?

Gin: (still grinning wickedly) Oh her? She wasn't feeling all that well so I took care of her. ^_^

Kenshin: ~gulp~ 0.0

Megumi: You're joking, right? (Gin shakes her head) haha. ^_&

Sano: @_@ (he is still unconscious)

Aoshi: Am I missing something?

Gin: No dear. (giggles hysterically)

Aoshi: Huh? o.O

Yahiko: …something wrong with you people?

Gin: Anyway (ignoring Yahiko) I'm still trying to find out how to introduce Hiko. And the writers block I still have, isn't exactly helping.

Kenshin: Now there's a challenge.

Yahiko: …IS ANYONE LISTENING TO ME!?

Gin: And then I gonna hafta figure out how to reintroduce Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru, and Karou.

Kagome: You're really in for a challenge

Yahiko: Hey Ugly (says this to Gin) you better start listening to me, you know.

Gin: Yahiko? ^_^*

Yahiko: What Ugly?

Gin: Do you know about Fluffy and co? ^_^**

Yahiko: Yea, I know who they are and what they look like. Why?

Gin: You do know they will show up later, right? ^_^***

Yahiko: Get to the point already UGLY!!!

Gin: ^_^****************** etc. IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP RIGHT NOW, I'M GONNA PAIR YOU UP WITH JAKEN, YOU GOT THAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Yahiko: (shuts up immediately)
