As I start this chapter, you may or may not have been surprised at the return of Myotismon. After being vaporized by Imperialdramon Fighter Mode while so weakened, you would think that he would have been completely destroyed. You have to remember that Myotismon has been seemly destroyed before and he has come back, so, it makes a ‘plausible point’ for him to come back in which he would ally himself with evil vampires since they would both hate humans, right? But remember, you know the story of ‘evil alliances’ after all. Anyway, before I start, I would like to give thanks and credit to Belletigerand Kanius and Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon series, especially this author’s The Invasion of the Rajita story, for giving me permission to use the idea of Valkyrie Sailor Soldiers and everything that’s a part of them. Sailor Moon Online II: SAO Shippuden

 

(Sword Art Online II music ‘Courage’ starts)

 

As the intro starts, we see images of swords go by and reflected on the blades of the swords are images of Suguha and Leafa with the final reflection from the blades of the sword are Rika, Lisbeth, SAO and ALO forms, Keiko, Silica, SAO and ALO forms, Shion, Sinon, GGO and ALO forms, Kotone, Philia, SAO/SAW and ALO forms, Hiyori, Kuro, and Lux.

 

The next shows Princess Selene then turning into a toddler Suguha Kirigaya, who then ‘ages’ into a 13-year-old Suguha Kirigaya, warping into Suguha Kirigaya of 15-16 years of age, then into Eternal Sailor Celestial, and finally, into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial. As Valkyrie Sailor Celestial turns to the skies to see some unseen sight, Rika, Keiko, Shion/Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori appear behind her.

 

Just then it turns into images of Ancient Egypt of Atem’s time, Atlantis, the original Domino City, Neo Domino City, and ALO before we see Suguha Kirigaya looking at a ‘shooting star’ before she transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial before facing an unknown figure that uses the Seal of Orichalcos that surrounds her and her enemy.

 

Next, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze are seen in two separate images which change where Suguha, then Leafa, and finally, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial are using their kendo/sword techniques. Just then Rika/Lisbeth, Keiko/Silica, Shion/Sinon/Sailor Orion, Kotone/Philia, and Hiyori/Lux are seen before we see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, using her sword techniques, is joined by Naruto, using his famous Shadow Clones and Rasengan, in this ‘fight demonstration’.

 

Then we find Valkyrie Sailor Moon walking slowly forward until she is face to face with Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them stare at each other before Valkyrie Sailor Celestial brings out Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000) with Valkyrie Sailor Moon brings out Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon (2500/2000) and Clearwing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) in which they go into an epic clash with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Valkyrie Sailor Celestial clashing blades themselves.

 

The scene changes to Davis and Kazuto, looking a lot like his SAO avatar of Kirito, facing off against Naruto with Naruto bring out Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000) and Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon (3000/2500) while Kazuto brings out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity (4000/3500) and Davis brings out Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500) along with the other Signer and Duel Dragons in which they launch into an epic titanic fight.

 

Just then we see Sailor Celestial, Sailor Orion, Lisbeth, Silica, Philia, and Lux engaged by a legion of opponents including monsters from ALO and Duel Monsters which they fight and defeat, but then a mysterious figure brings out the Divine Serpent used by Dartz, but Sailor Celestial, Lisbeth, and Silica bring out the three Legendary Dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, and they transform into their true forms: The Legendary Knights of Atlantis where they defeat the Divine Serpent.

 

Naruto and Sailor Celestial are back to back surrounded by Sakura, Hinata, Rika, Keiko, Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori as a powerful circle brings for the three Aesir, Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as the three Egyptian God Monsters: Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in which all of them unleash an incredible attack creating a massive bright light. From that light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) emerges along with the Crimson Dragon.

 

The scene then switches to images of Yugi Moto, Pharaoh Atem, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Dartz, and more before switching to our heroes and heroines with images of Neo Domino City, Aincrad/SAO, ALO, the Elemental Countries including the Leaf Village, and more as images of Suguha and Naruto from childhood into their current years are seen before Suguha turns into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them look into the distance.

 

Finally, we have different scenes where we see Naruto training and mastering the Rasengan, Leafa flying through the virtual skies of ALO, Serena becoming Sailor Moon for the first time, and leading to a scene with all of our heroes and heroines, joined by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, racing towards some kind of unknown destination in which it finally stop at all of them assembled together flanked by Earth, Atlantis, and the Leaf Village in the background along with the Legendary Dragons/Knights, the Signer and Duel Dragons, the Aesir, and Egyptian God Monsters.

Arc III: Chapter 11: Wrath of the Dark

 

May 23, 2026, Rainbow Gardens

 

Within Rainbow Gardens, Leafa and Sachi are discussing something in which Sachi has a concerned look on her face.

 

Sachi says, stunned, “Oh my.”

 

Leafa says, with a sigh, “That’s one way of putting it, Sachi-san.” Leafa tells Sachi, plainly, “And that’s why I need to find Yuuko’s brother. Hopefully, he can convince her to stop.”

 

Sachi says, “I see.”

 

Leafa says, with a solemn tone, “This is another ‘scar’ from SAO that still festers and also a piece of my ‘dark past’, Sachi-san. A ‘dark past’ that’s haunting my big brother, my family, and all of my friends.”

 

Sachi says, plainly, “Leafa…”

 

Leafa tells Sachi, “I need to know if you know anyone that died during the venture on Floor Twenty-Five of Aincrad.”

 

Sachi says in reply, “Actually, my friends and I know of a few people that died during that time.”

 

Leafa asks, curiously, “You do, Sachi-san?”

 

Sachi says, with a nod, “Yes.”

 

Leafa then creates a menu similar to the ones used in SAO and ALO in which she pushes some buttons on her menu and she then asks, “Do any of them look like this person?” Leafa then allows Sachi to view her menu screen which is displaying a picture of a teenage young man with black hair and eyes. He wears a white shirt with long sleeves and a ruffed hood, black pants, and white shoes with gray soles.

 

Sachi gasps and she says, “I know him!”

 

Leafa asks, amazed, “You do?”

 

Sachi says, with a nod, “Yes. Actually, my guild and I are going to go meet him!”

 

Leafa tells Sachi, “Sachi-san, you need help me meet him! This is life or death!”

 

Sachi says, with a nod, “Of course, Leafa. Right away.” Soon enough, Sachi leads Leafa away to find Yuuko’s brother to gain his aid to try to stop Yuuko through ‘negotiation’.

 

May 23, 2026, Neo Domino City

 

In Neo Domino City, the ‘comatose’ form of Commander Koda is lying in a hospital bed as our heroes and heroines are facing the former Signers as they discuss what happened with him.

 

Jack says, “You know I’ve always wonder what happened to this guy and Goodwin’s other ‘agents’ after we defeated the Dark Signers.”

 

Kazuto says, “We came to you to learn about him since Akiza faced him back during the Fortune Cup.”

 

Akiza says, “His name is Commander Koda and he was one of Goodwin’s ‘agents’ in which his job was to force me to reveal my ‘Signer powers’.” Akiza says, with a solemn tone, “He is also a person that I hurt with my powers during the time that I couldn’t control them.”

 

Yusei says, concerned, “Akiza…”

 

Akiza tells Yusei, “It’s okay, Yusei. I’ve made peace with my past now.” But just then the whole of area starts to ‘warp’ and a lot of people gasp in shock.

 

Leo asks, surprised, “Now what?!”

 

Just then a male voice booms out, “You should also remember that those that forget their past are doomed to repeat it!” Soon after, the male voice gives off a sinister laugh as the ‘warping’ gets worse.

 

Amara says, seriously, “There is a major evil presence here!”

 

Raye says, seriously, “No kidding! We need to transform now!” But before the Sailor Scouts of the group could even attempt to transform, everyone yells out as they are swallowed by the darkness causing all of them to black out.

 

May 23, 2026, Unknown location

 

At an unknown location, Davis grunts and groans as he slowly wakes up and gets into a sitting position.

 

Davis asks, shaking his head, “What hit me?”

 

Just then Kari’s voice calls out, “Dai-kun, you’re awake!” Davis shakes his head, opens his eyes, and he finds Kari looking at him.

 

Davis asks Kari, “Kari, are you okay?”

 

Kari says, with a nod and nervous tone, “Yes, but I don’t think that we will be okay if what we are standing on vanishes.” Davis gives a confused look, but when he looks around, he gives a flabbergasted look as he finds himself and Kari on top of see-through platform of energy hovering the entrance to an ACTIVE volcano.

 

Davis leaps to his feet and he yells out, “Holy crap! We…We’re…”

 

Kari says, with a nod, “I know, Dai-kun.”

 

Davis says, “Something tells me that we are in big trouble.”

 

Just then a male voice that our heroes and heroines heard before booms out, “That’s putting it lightly pal!” Davis and Kari turn to the source of the voice to see a young man with long dark brown hair, a mask shaped like Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon’s head over his eyes and nose, and a tight-fitting overcoat with raised shoulders and waistline and gold and green trimmings with the rest of his clothing matching the overcoat with a duel disk that looks like a black version of a classic Neo Domino City Duel Disk, but the ‘blade’ is missing and there is one slot for the spell/trap cards instead of five of them.

 

Davis asks, “Who the heck are you?”

 

The young man responds, in the voice that Davis and Kari just heard, “You can call me Nightshroud.”

 

Kari asks, “Nightshroud?”

 

The young man says, “That’s right. And don’t wear it out. Now, I’ll just get to the point.” The young man, Nightshroud, says, pointing to Davis, “You and I are going to duel, but this isn’t any ordinary duel. This will be a Shadow Duel.”

 

Kari asks, concerned, “Shadow Duel?”

 

Nightshroud says, “That’s right. And don’t think that you need a Millennium Item or Shadow Charm to use the powers of the Shadow Realm. Let’s just say that I’m quite exceptional when it comes to the power of darkness. I don’t need such a weak card like the Seal of Orichalcos.”

 

Davis thinks in his mind, “Uh oh. If he called the Seal of Orichalcos weak, then something tells me that this guy is no joke.”

 

Kari whispers to Davis, “Dai-kun, this ‘person’, if he is a person, is dangerous. I can sense the darkness rolling off him. He is really powerful.”

 

Nightshroud says, pointing to another location, “And if you need to ask why you and I are going to duel, take a look over there.” Davis and Kari look in the direction where Nightshroud is pointing at and they gasp to see the rest of our heroes and heroines, with the former Signers, entrapped on two ‘islands’ that are ‘floating’ in the lava with the humans on one ‘island’ with the Digimon on the other and all of them entrapped inside of force-field bubbles.

 

Kari shouts out, shocked, “Tai! Gatomon! Everyone!”

 

Yolei yells out, “What are you waiting for?! Beat the crap out of that ass and get us out of here!”

 

Nightshroud says, with a smirk, “That won’t be easy unless you duel me and don’t think that your powers are going to help you! You can’t use them without these!” Nightshroud then points up to show a floating force-field bubble showing all of the Sailor Scouts’ transformation items and the Digidestined’s digivice with D-Terminals and two tags, each one with a familiar crest in them, in which Davis and Kari pat themselves down causing Davis to notice that he doesn’t his D-3 digivice, D-Terminal, and his tags and crests while Kari notices that she has lost her Sailor Scout broach, D-3, and D-Terminal.

 

Davis says, with a snarl, “You dirty!”

 

Nightshroud says, pointing to the others, “By the way, you should know to hurry it up! Those force-fields will only last so long!” Davis snarls as he gets out his Real Solid Vision duel disk from a sub-space pocket, attaches it to his left wrist, and puts in a dueling deck of which Nightshroud does the same in which Nightshroud’s deck ‘glows’ with a dark violet glow and Davis’ deck glows a golden and black glow causing Davis and Kari to look confused, but Nightshroud says, “Ah! You must be using your dragon deck. Well, that’s good. I’ve heard about you, your majesty. Now, we will see who the true dragon master is!”

 

Davis says, with a serious tone, “Bring it on, jerk!”

 

Kari tells Davis, concerned, “Be careful, Dai-kun.”

 

Davis says, with a confident grin, “Hey, this is me, Kari-chan!”

 

Kari tells Davis, with a kind smirk, “Do I really need to reply to that, Dai-kun?” Davis gives his girlfriend an annoyed look as Kari kisses him on the lips in which she gets to the side while Davis and Nightshroud activate their duel disks causing their decks to get shuffled, their touch screens to display 4000 life-points for each duelist, and the ‘energy blades’ containing the Monster and Pendulum Zones to appear in which the two of them draw five cards from their respective decks.

 

“Game on!” Davis and Nightshroud say in unison as their duel begins.

 

Starting Scores:

Davis: 4000

Nightshroud: 4000

 

Entrapped in their current ‘prison’, Luna asks, “What do we do?”

 

Yusei says, “All we can do is watch.”

 

Jack says, with a snarl, “I hate that.”

 

Nightshroud says, drawing a card, “I’ll take the first turn! My move! I draw!” Nightshroud says, putting one card on his disk, “I shall put one monster face-down.” Nightshroud then puts one card into the main slot of his disk and he says, “And I end my turn with one card face-down.”

 

Davis says, drawing a card, “Then it is my move!”

 

With the Digimon, Veemon says, with a smile, “I know that Davis can do it!”

 

Hawkmon says, “You have a logical point for your confidence, Veemon.”

 

Gatomon says, with a nod, “True, but Davis has to be careful. He is dealing with someone very nasty. He is really making my tail twitch.”

 

Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “Since you have a monster and I don’t, I can play Vice Dragon from my hand!” Soon after, Vice Dragon (2000/2400-1000/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, putting another card on his disk, “However, bringing him out that way cuts his power in half, but now, I play Influence Dragon in attack mode!” Just then Influence Dragon (300/900) appears on the field in attack mode in which Davis says, “And now, I tune Influence Dragon with Vice Dragon!” Influence Dragon becomes three stars that turn into three rings that surround Vice Dragon, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field and Davis says, “Clustering hopes become a new shining star, become the path that its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he yells out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Leo says, excitedly, “Awesome! He got Stardust out on his first turn!” Soon after, all of the Signers in the group had their Marks of the Dragon start to glow on their right arms.

 

Nightshroud says, “That’s your ace monster. Pretty decent dragon, but not good enough.”

 

Davis says, “We’ll see about that! Stardust Dragon, take out his face-down! Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes his classic attack on Nightshroud’s face-down monster, which is revealed to be Troop Dragon (700/800) in defense mode, in which the monster is vaporized, but since it was in defense mode, Nightshroud doesn’t lose any life-points in which Davis says, with an annoyed glare, “This is going to get annoying.”

 

A card comes out of Nightshroud’s deck and he says, putting the card on his disk, “For you anyway. That card was Troop Dragon and when he is destroyed in battle, I can summon another one to my field, hence, the ‘troop’ in his name.” Just then another Troop Dragon (700/800) appears on the field in defense mode.

 

Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “I got that. I place two cards face-down and call it a turn.”

 

Nightshroud says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Nightshroud says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my Call of the Haunted!” Nightshroud’s face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted continuous trap card and Nightshroud says, “Thanks to this trap card, I can revive a monster in my grave and you know who is coming back!” The first Troop Dragon (700/800) then returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Davis says, with a plain tone, “Here we go.”

 

Nightshroud says, putting one card on his disk, “You realize what’s going to happen next! So, I’ll get on with it! I tribute both of my Troop Dragons to play Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” Both Troop Dragons vanish and Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

The others are amazed and Mina says, “He’s a Red-Eyes duelist too?! Whoa!”

 

Nightshroud says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I activate my Inferno Fire Blast spell card! By making Red-Eyes unable to attack this turn, you take damage equal to its original attack points!” Red-Eyes Black Dragon fires a dark fireball right at Davis!

 

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! Go, Damage Polarizer!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Damage Polarizer counter-trap card and Davis says, “This card negates your effect damage and forces both of us to draw a card!” A shield appears in front of Davis and stops the dark fireball in which Davis and Nightshroud draw a card from their respective decks.

 

Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “If you think that you saved yourself, you have got another thing coming. You just made things worse!”

 

Davis says, a bit nervously, “Oh, boy.”

 

Nightshroud says, putting one more card on his disk, “You got that right, kid! I tribute my Red-Eyes Black Dragon to play my ultimate creature: Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!” Red-Eyes Black Dragon is bathed in dark flames, goes into the lava, and the whole area shakes around for a while until Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (2400/2000) emerges from the lava in attack mode.

 

Tai says, nervously, “That’s trouble.”

 

Matt says, with a nod, “All coming for Davis.”

 

Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “You already know about this creature, don’t you? How he gains three hundred attack points for every dragon in my grave? And goody for me, I have three!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon glows dark violet as it goes from 2400/2000 to 3300/2000 and Nightshroud says, with a dark smirk, “Now, it is time to get rid of your lizard! Red-Eyes, attack his pathetic dragon with Inferno Dark Fire!”

 

Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon unleashes a powerful dark violet flame at Stardust Dragon and Davis says, pushing another button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong! I activate my Scarp-Iron Scarecrow!” Davis’ other face-down is revealed to be the Scrap-Iron Scarecrow trap card and Davis says, “This card negates your attack!” A scarecrow made of scrap metal appears in front of Stardust Dragon, the flames from Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon dispel when they hit, and Davis says, as scarecrow ‘turns’ back into the trap card, “And then it resets itself face-down on the field, but I can’t use it again this turn!”

 

Nightshroud says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Not bad, Signer, but it isn’t good enough. I end my turn with two cards face-down.”

 

Davis says, drawing a card, “We’ll see!” Davis and Kari then hear a yelp and they look in which their eyes widen to see the force-fields that contain everyone else are starting to waver.

 

Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “You had better hurry! Those force-fields are looking quite ‘wavy’.”

 

Davis snarls at Nightshroud and Ken says, “Don’t let him get to you, Davis!”

 

Davis nods his head and he says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start off with Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and then I discard two from my hand!” Davis draws three cards from his deck, discards two cards from his hand, and Davis says, drawing two cards, “And one of those cards was my Card of Compensation spell card! When it is sent my hand to the grave, I get two more cards from my deck!”

 

Nightshroud says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Thank you! I activate my Talisman of Reversal!” Nightshroud’s face-down card is revealed to be the Talisman of Reversal trap card and he says, with an evil grin, “When you draw cards outside of your Draw Phase, namely due to some kind of effect, I get new cards equal to the amount of cards in your hand! So, thank you for the new hand!”

 

Nightshroud draws five new cards and Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “You aren’t welcome and you won’t be using those cards! I activate my Ancient Rules spell card! Now, I can summon one level five or above non-effect monster! And I choose Luster Dragon number two!” Davis puts a card on his disk and Luster Dragon #2 (2400/1400) appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Flamvell Guard!” Flamvell Guard (100/2000) then appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “And now, I tune Flamvell Guard with Luster Dragon number two!” Davis looks at Kari and she gives a nod as well as smile in which Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Luster Dragon #2, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field.

 

Davis and Kari then say in unison, “Cold flames shall envelop the whole world! Pitch-black flower, come into bloom! Synchro Summon!” As Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk, Davis and Kari say in unison, “Appear now, Black Rose Dragon!” Out of the light, Black Rose Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode causing Kari’s Mark of the Dragon to glow even brighter than before.

 

Akiza says, amazed, “Black Rose Dragon!”

 

Leo says, excitedly, “Yeah! Two dragons for the price of one!”

 

Nightshroud says, with a sly smirk, “Not bad, but neither of those dragons have the power to defeat my Red-Eyes.”

 

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Not yet, but first, I play my Roll of Faith! Since I have four or more cards removed from play, I can now return three of them to my deck and reshuffle!” Three lights then come from Davis’ pocket, his ‘out of play area’, and goes back into his deck in which his deck is reshuffled. Davis thinks in his mind, slyly, “And just in case, the last card is going to prove useful next turn.” Davis says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Silent Doom! I can revive one monster to the field in defense mode!” Just then Flamvell Guard (100/2000) returns to the field in defense mode and Davis looks at Kari in which she nods her head causing Davis to say, “And now, I tune my Flamvell Guard with Black Rose Dragon!” Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Black Rose Dragon, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field. Davis says, “The ruler’s heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he says, “It’s time to roar, Red Dragon Archfiend!” Out of the light, Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Crow asks, “Black Rose and Red Dragon?”

 

Jack gives a mildly curious quirk of his eyebrow and Davis says, putting one more card into main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Monster Reborn, so, you can guess who is coming back!” Soon after, Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800) returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Nightshroud says, with a wicked grin, “It doesn’t matter how many of those weakling lizard you have! They can’t stand up to my dragon!”

 

Davis says, putting one more card into his disk’s main slot, “My United We Stand equip spell says otherwise, pal! Stardust Dragon gains eight hundred attack and defense points for every monster on my field including himself!” Stardust Dragon roars out as he goes from 2500/2000 to 4900/4400!

 

Leo says, excitedly, “Awesome!”

 

Davis yells out, “Stardust Dragon, take out his Red-Eyes! Cosmic Flare!”

 

As Stardust Dragon unleashes a blast of cosmic energy at Red-Eyes, Nightshroud says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I play Negate Attack!” Nightshroud’s next face-down card is revealed to be the Negate Attack counter-trap card and a shield negates Stardust Dragon’s attack in which Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “And like the name says, it negated your attack.”

 

Lita says, “That’s not good.”

 

Jack says, “More so than you think. Negate Attack ends his Battle Phase and Red Dragon Archfiend destroys all of YOUR monsters that didn’t attack at the End Phase of the turn. Now, he has to make a choice of saving Black Rose by using Stardust’s ability and use his equip spell or lose Black Rose Dragon.”

 

Davis says, putting the last card in his hand into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Synchro Jubilee spell card! Since I have one or more Synchro Monsters on the field, I can draw one card for every Synchro Monster out, but if all of my Synchro Monsters are of the same type, I can draw two cards for every Synchro Monster on the field and what do you know? All of my Synchro Monsters are dragons!” Davis draws six cards from his deck, puts one into the main slot of his disk, and he says, “Next, I play my Dimensional Hole spell card! Now, I can remove one monster from my field until my next Standby Phase and that monster’s zone can’t be used until then!” Just then a portal appears behind Red Dragon Archfiend and sucks him into it while Stardust Dragon’s stats goes down from 4900/4400 down to 4100/3600 due to Red Dragon Archfiend leaving the field.

 

Yusei says, with a smile, “Nice! Now, he won’t suffer Red Dragon’s negative effect.”

 

Darien says, “But with one less monster, Stardust is weaker.”

 

Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “And I end my turn with a few face-downs.”

 

Nightshroud says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn then. I draw!” Yolei yelps as she feels the heat from the lava as the force-field gets even weaker.

 

Yolei says, nervously, “It is getting hot in here!”

 

Kari says, “Just hang on! Dai-kun will get you out shortly!”

 

Nightshroud says, with a wicked smirk, “We’ll have to say if he wins before you are fried steak! He really needs to hurry!”

 

Davis tells Nightshroud, annoyed, “Maybe you should take your turn so I can beat your butt to do so!”

 

Nightshroud says, with a sinister smile, “We’ll have to see about that!” Nightshroud says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “First, I’ll start off with a little spell known as Dark Dragon Ritual!” Nightshroud sends Mirage Dragon (1600/600) to the graveyard and he says, putting one Ritual Monster card on his disk, “By sending Mirage Dragon to my graveyard, my Paladin of Dark Dragon rises to take his place!” Paladin of Dark Dragon (1900/1200) appears on the field in attack mode in which Nightshroud says, “And then I release my Paladin of Dark Dragon in order to play this!” Paladin of Dark Dragon vanishes, a card comes out of Nightshroud’s deck, and he says, putting it on his disk, “Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800/2400) appears on the field in attack mode and Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “By the way, with two more dragons in my grave, the original Darkness Dragon gains six hundred more attack points!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon then goes from 3300/2000 to 3900/2000 thanks to its ability with two more dragons in Nightshroud’s graveyard.

 

Davis says, sternly, “But it isn’t enough to take out my Stardust!”

 

Nightshroud says, putting one card on his disk, “Then let’s change that! First, I activate my Darkness Metal Dragon’s ability and he allows me to summon any dragon monster from my hand or graveyard! And I choose to add another Red-Eyes! Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Nightshroud says, displaying Black Metal Dragon (600/600) monster card, “Then I activate the effect of my Black Metal Dragon! This card can equip itself to any Red-Eyes monster and boosts its power by six hundred more points!” Black Metal Dragon appears on the field, attaches itself to Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, and it goes from 3900/2000 to 4500/2000.

 

The others are stunned and Amara says, plainly, “That’s not good.”

 

Nightshroud says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “And it is going to get worse! I activate my Black Binding equip spell! Since I have Dark Dragon monsters on my field, I can equip this card to my opponent’s monsters and they lose their special abilities! Also, when this card is destroyed, I get an extra card from my deck!” Stardust Dragon roars out as it is bound by unnatural black chains.

 

Davis says, shocked, “Stardust!”

 

Nightshroud says, with a sinister smile while putting the last card in his hand into the main slot of his disk, “And since your lizard can’t stop my cards from destroy yours, I play my Psychic Cyclone spell card! I guess one of your face-downs and it is destroyed in which if I guessed the card right, I get a card!” Nightshroud points to one of Davis’ face-downs and he says, “But I don’t need to guess since I know that’s your scarecrow trap!” A twister comes up to the field, flings the face-down card on Davis’ field into the sky, revealing it is Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, and when it shatters, Nightshroud draws one card from his deck. Nightshroud says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “I play Pot of Greed! This gives me two more cards from my deck!” Nightshroud says, “And now, my Darkness Dragon will take down your lizard! Inferno Dark Fire!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon unleashes its dark violet flames right at Stardust Dragon.

 

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong! I activate my Impenetrable Attack trap card!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Davis says, “Thanks to this trap card, I can use two effects! I use the effect of preventing my monsters from being destroyed by battle this turn!”

 

Nightshroud says, with a sly smile, “But you will still take the damage!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon’s attack slams into Stardust Dragon, who isn’t destroyed, but Davis yelps from the flames that hit him as he loses 400 life-points in which Nightshroud yells out, “And my Darkness Metal Dragon will compound the damage! Attack!” Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon attacks Black Rose Dragon, who isn’t destroyed by the attack, thanks to Davis’ trap card, but Davis yelps out as he is sent stumbling backwards by the flames and shockwave of the explosion that hits Black Rose Dragon causing Davis to lose 400 more life-points.

 

Kari asks, concerned, “Are you okay, Dai-kun?”

 

Davis says, with a grunt, “Don’t worry! I’ve been through worse!”

 

Nightshroud says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I have to do better and make things even more painful for you! I end my turn!”

It returns to my hand and now, both of us must draw two cards!” Davis and Nightshroud then draw two cards from their decks and Davis then says, “Also, my Dimension Hole allows another of my friends to come back!” A portal opens up and Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) emerges from the portal in attack mode causing Stardust Dragon to go from 4100/3600 up to 4900/4400 due to the effect of United We Stand equip spell on Stardust Dragon.

 

Mina says, excitedly, “Now, Stardust is stronger than his Red-Eyes!”

 

Nightshroud says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Don’t count on it! I activate my trap: Thunder of Ruler!” Nightshroud’s face-down card is revealed to be Thunder of Ruler trap card and Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “Due to this trap card, you aren’t allowed to play your Battle Phase this turn!”

 

Davis says, with a snarl, “Dude! That’s annoying!”

 

Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “Isn’t it? Now, you better hurry and end your turn as well as choose what monsters that you want to lose!”

 

Jack says, with a glare, “Thanks to his trap card, he can’t attack and due to Red Dragon’s ability, all other monsters that haven’t attack this turn are destroyed!”

 

Yusei says, “He is trying to use Red Dragon’s negative effect against Davis.”

 

Rika says, “What did you expect? He is an evil villain! It is what they do!” Hiyori yelp as she feels the heat from the lava from the ever weakening force-field.

I activate my trap: Assault Mode Activate!” Davis’ last face-down card is revealed to be the Assault Mode Activate trap card and Davis says, “And now, Red Dragon Archfiend ‘evolves’ into Red Dragon Archfiend Assault Mode!” A card comes out of Davis’ deck, he puts it on his disk, and Red Dragon Archfiend roars out as he ‘transforms’ into Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode (3500/3000) in attack mode.

 

Jack says, with a smile, “Excellent. Now, he doesn’t need to worry about Red Dragon’s negative effect with the Assault Mode version of Red Dragon.”

 

Nightshroud says, with a smirk, “Cute, kid, but that’s not enough. And you need to hurry it up!”

 

Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot, “Fine! I place two cards face-down and end my turn!”

 

Nightshroud says, drawing a card, “Then it is my move! I draw!” Nightshroud says, putting one card on his disk, “Now, I activate my Darkness Metal Dragon’s ability once again! I use it to summon another Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” Just then another Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Nightshroud says, “And now, I Overlay him and Black Flare Dragon to build the Overlay Network!” Both Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground.

 

Davis says, “I don’t like the look of this.”

 

Nightshroud says, as he gets an XYZ Monster Card from his Extra Deck, “No, you shouldn’t. You see, I’m what you call an ‘old time duelist’, but I have to say that I love the latest dueling techniques including this one! Now, I XYZ Summon Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!” Nightshroud puts the XYZ Monster Card over Red-Eyes Black Dragon’s and Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon’s Monster Cards which is now on the same Monster Card Zone of Nightshroud’s duel disk in which out of the vortex, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon (2800/2400), with two Dark Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Hiyori says, nervously, “Oh no.”

 

Nightshroud says, “And now, I activate his ability! By removing one of his Overlay Units, I can revive one Red-Eyes from my grave!” Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon then absorbs one of its Overlay Units and Nightshroud says, slyly, “Including this one! Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon (2400/2000) returns to the field in attack mode and Nightshroud says, “And since he is a Gemini monster, I give up my ability to Normal Summon this turn to awaken its Gemini power! But first, my Darkness Dragon will take care of the Red Dragon Archfiend! Inferno Dark Fire!”

 

As Darkness Dragon attacks Red Dragon, Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so, jerk! You aren’t the only one with a Negate Attack trap card!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Negate Attack counter-trap card and Davis says, “As you already know, your attack is negated and the Battle Phase is ended!” A vortex appears in front of Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode and negates Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon’s attack.

 

Nightshroud says, with an evil smile, “It may, but you just set yourself up for more pain! I activate Flare Metal Dragon’s effect! As long as it has an Overlay Unit, when you play an effect, you suffer five hundred points of damage!” Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon unleashes a fireball that slams into Davis and he yelps out in pain as he is burned and suffers 500 life-points of damage.

 

Kari says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!”

 

Kazuto says, seriously, “This is bad! Now, every time that Davis activates a spell, trap, or monster effect, he gets hit by damage!”

 

Darien says, with a nod, “That’s what this guy was going for.”

 

Mina yelps as the force-field’s weakening condition causing lava to leak in and nearly hit her in which she yells out, nervously, “We should be focusing on not getting turned into extra cooked steak!”

 

Nightshroud says, putting one more card into the main slot, “And it is going to get worse! I equip my Flare Metal Dragon with Mist Body equip spell! As long as this card is equipped to my dragon, it can’t be destroyed in battle!”

 

Tai says, plainly, “Okay, that’s worse.”

 

Nightshroud says, with an evil smile while putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I think that’s enough from me. You need to really think fast since your friends are losing their protection real fast.”

I draw!” Davis says, putting two cards on his disk, “Since you have monsters that have two thousand or more attack points, I can special summon my Schwarzschild Limit Dragon and I have two of them!” Just then two Schwarzschild Limit Dragon (2000/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “And due this to be a summoning requirement and not an effect, your Flare Metal Dragon can’t use his ability!”

 

Nightshroud retorts, taunting tone in his voice, “And what are they going to do? They don’t have the ability to take down my dragons!”

 

Davis responds, with a sly smirk, “You don’t think so! Well, maybe you will change your tune when I use both of them to build the Overlay Network!” Both Schwarzschild Limit Dragon then turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while Davis puts the two monster cards on the same Monster Card Zone on his disk. Davis then takes out an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck and he says, “Golden dragon overlord of star, emerge and unleash the power of celestial flames! I XYZ Summon Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis!” Out of the vortex, Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis (3000/2400), a massive flaming red-golden dragon mainly made of solar flames/energy and with two Light Overlay units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Nightshroud says, “Not bad, but not good enough. You may destroy my other dragons, but all you will do is make my Darkness Dragon even stronger.”

 

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Maybe, but you are going to see who is going to get who after I play this! I activate Card of Sanctity! Both of us must now draw until we have six cards in our hands!”

 

Nightshroud says, with a wicked smirk, “You must be a glutton for punishment or have you forgotten my Flare Metal Dragon? If you have, this might remind you!” Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon unleashes another fireball that slams into Davis causing him to yelp as he gets burned by the fireball as he loses 500 life-points. Soon after, Davis and Nightshroud then draw from their decks until they have six cards in their respective hands.

 

Davis says, “Your monster isn’t the only one with a special ability! I activate my Overlord’s ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, I can then release any numbers of monsters on my field and in my hand!” Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis then absorbs one of its Overlay Units.

 

Nightshroud says, with a sinister grin, “By using another effect, you suffer my dragon’s effect again!” Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon unleashes another fireball on Davis and he yelp as he is burned again by the fireball causing him to lose 500 more life-points.

 

Kari says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!”

 

Veemon says, worriedly, “Davis!”

 

Sora says, worriedly, “I hope Davis knows what he is doing.”

 

Tai says, with an assuring tone, “He knows what he is doing! Davis has pulled through before and he can again!”

 

Nightshroud tells Davis, taunting tone, “You are nearly down for the count already!”

 

Davis says, with a sly grin, “By the way, did you know that for every monster that I release, one card on your field gets destroyed? I don’t think so!” Nightshroud’s eyes widen in shock and Davis looks at Stardust, Red Dragon, and Black Rose in which they nod their head causing Davis to say, displaying three Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord (0/0) monster cards, “I send three Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord from my hand to the grave and I also release Stardust, Red Dragon, and Black Rose to destroy all the cards on your field!” Davis discards the monster cards causing all three Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord to appear on the field in which they glow with Stardust, Red Dragon, and Black Rose in which Davis says, “Take them down!” All of them then leap towards Nightshroud’s field glowing as bright as the sun.

 

Nightshroud says, with a serious tone, “Not so fast! I activate Flare Metal Dragon’s ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, I can revive one Red-Eyes from my graveyard!” Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon absorbs its final Overlay Unit and another Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in defense mode while Darkness Dragon, Darkness Metal Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon, and Nightshroud’s two face-down cards are destroyed, but Nightshroud says, with a smirk, “And now, I activate the card that you destroyed! Return of the Red-Eyes! When this trap card is destroyed by an opponent’s effect, I can revive one Red-Eyes from my graveyard and I choose Darkness Metal Dragon!” Just then Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800/2400) returns to the field in defense mode. Nightshroud thinks in his mind, slyly, “Excellent! He will target my Darkness Metal Dragon, but what he doesn’t know is that I have a Double Spell card that will allow me to use his Monster Reborn to revive my Darkness Metal Dragon in which I will revive my Flare Metal Dragon and I have a way to get back one of his Overlay Units. He will soon be nothing more than a snack for the darkness!”

 

Davis says, with a sly grin, “I was hoping that you would revive that dragon.”

 

Nightshroud asks, confused, “Why is that?”

 

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “So, I can use this! Change of Heart! Now, I get control of your Darkness Metal Dragon!”

 

Nightshroud says, realizing Davis’ plan, “No!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon leaps over to Davis’ side of the field.

 

Davis says, with a grin, “Bingo, jerk! I can now use his ability to revive one of my dragons and I choose good buddy, Stardust!” Just then Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Tai yells out, excitedly, “Way to go!” However, the others yelp as the force-fields start to break apart.

 

Kari shouts out, worriedly, “Dai-kun!”

 

Davis yells out, “Overlord, blast his last dragon into steak! Raging Solar Flare!” Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis unleashes a powerful blast of solar energy that vaporizes Red-Eyes Black Dragon, but since it was in defense mode, Nightshroud doesn’t lose any life-points from this attack. Davis shouts out, strongly, “Now, Red-Eyes! Stardust! End this! Direct attack!” Both Stardust and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon unleash their attacks and Nightshroud screams out as they slam into him, costing him 5300 life-points as well as the duel.

As Nightshroud starts to fade into darkness, a dark violet orb comes from his deck and he yells out, his voice sounding fiendish, “Traitors!” The dark violet orb then goes into Davis’ deck and he yells out in pain as dark violet lightning comes from it.

 

Kari shouts out, worriedly, “Dai-kun!” An image of Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon appears and they roar in which Davis roars out with a golden aura causing the dark violet aura to glow a ‘brighter’ violet color in which everyone is engulfed in light before everyone trapped in the force-fields, which are now fading, are hit by the lava.

 

May 23, 2026, Tokyo

 

Somewhere within Tokyo, Naruto is looking at his glowing Mark of the Dragon stop glowing with Hinata and Sakura with him.

 

Naruto gives a smile and Hinata asks, “What’s going on Naruto-kun?”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Davis-san just won his duel.”

 

Sakura asks Naruto, “Let me guess: A ‘Signer’ thing?”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “Yep.”

 

May 23, 2026, Neo Domino City

 

As we arrive on the scene, we are looking at Davis’ face as he slowly starts to regain consciousness and he looks to see Veemon and Kari looking at him.

 

Kari asks, concerned, “Dai-kun?! Dai-kun?!” Davis groans as he gets to a sitting position and he shakes his head.

 

Davis asks, “What the?!” He then remembers what happened and his eyes open to find everyone else, human and Digimon, looking at him.

 

Gatomon says, with a smile, “As you can see, we’re okay.”

 

Davis is then helped to his feet and Darien asks Davis, “Are you okay?”

 

Davis says, “Once the ringing gets out of my ears, I’ll let you know.”

 

TK says, with a grin, “He’s okay.”

 

Mina asks, “Okay? Who or what was that all about?”

 

Amara says, “I don’t know about who he was, but I can tell that he was a being of pure darkness.”

 

Raye says, with a nod of her head, “I felt the same. He may have looked human, but he wasn’t. He was a being of pure darkness.”

 

Just then there is a sound like a phone ringing and Yusei says, “It’s mine.” Yusei then takes out a smart phone and when he looks at it, his eyes widen in which he asks, shocked, “What?!”

 

Everyone looks at Yusei and Akiza asks, “Yusei, what’s wrong?”

 

Yusei responds, “It is from Leo’s and Luna’s former apartment in Tops.”

 

Leo tells Yusei, “Isn’t it your apartment now, Yusei. We did kind of give it to you.”

 

Crow asks, ignoring Leo, “What’s wrong?”

 

Yusei says, “They were attacked and Yugi has just been kidnapped.”

 

There are gasps and Jack says, seriously, “Damn it! It must have been Neo Paradius! That guy was sent as a distraction!”

 

Yusei says, “It looks like it. Joey has gone off after them.”

 

Jack says, annoyed, “Damn it all! If anything happens to him, our history could be radically changed! We had better make sure that nothing happens to him and Yugi!”

 

Davis retorts, “Well, what are we waiting for?!”

 

Yolei says, “Hold on! We don’t know where they are going!”

 

Kazuto says, “I think that’s not a question, Yolei.”

 

Yolei gives a confused look and Yusei says, with a nod, “They announced as they took Yugi that they are heading for the Kaiba Dome.”

 

Leo asks, confused, “Why did they stupidly do that?”

 

Luna responds, with a sigh, “It’s a trap, Leo.”

 

Leo says, nervously, “Oh, yeah.”

 

Tai says, “Well, we can’t ignore it. Yugi Moto and Joey Wheeler are what make our world, now, and if something happens to them, history could be damaged.” The others can’t help to nod in agreement and everyone then takes off on the mission to rescue Yugi from Neo Paradius.

 

May 23, 2026, Neo Domino City, Kaiba Dome

 

At the Kaiba Dome, Yugi Moto, still weakened from the taking of his ‘duel spirit’, is sitting down in a hospital wheelchair with his arms and legs bound to it as a young man with short brown hair, onyx eyes, and wearing what looks like a red stage magician’s outfit is standing in the middle of the dueling field.

 

Yugi asks, weakly, “Why…are you doing this?”

 

The young man says, “To do what needs to be done.”

 

Just then Joey’s voice booms, “Let Yug go now!” Yugi and the young man look towards the source of the voice to see Joey Wheeler standing in front of them.

 

The young man says, plainly, “Stay out of this, Joey-dono. I will return Yugi-dono shortly once he has brought them here.”

 

Joey yells out, strongly, “How about I take you down before they even need to come?!” Joey charges in with his fist rolled back, but when he gets close, the young man snaps his fingers and chains burst out of the ground in which they entrap Joey causing him to grunt out, “What the heck is this?!”

 

Yugi says, weakly, “Joey…” Soon after, Imperialdramon, in his ‘dragon form’, appears over the Kaiba Dome and ‘beams down’ our heroes and heroines along with the former Signers with Imperialdramon returning back to Veemon and Wormmon where we can see all of the Sailor Scouts among our heroes and heroines in their Sailor Scout forms.

 

The young man says, “You’ve come.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, in a demanding tone, “Let Yugi-dono and Joey-dono go!”

 

The young man says, with a plain tone, “You aren’t in a position to demand anything, Sailor Jupiter.”

 

Tuxedo Mask asks, sternly, “Who are you? What do you want?’

 

The young man says, with a grin, “The name is Arcane and I’m here for a duel to find who is the true master of the Dark Magician in this era.” The young man, Arcane, says, with a plain tone, “I want the duelist of Timaeus.”

 

Hiyori asks, surprised, “Me?”

 

Arcane says, with a nod, “You are partners with Dark Magician and Dark Magician, aren’t you? It is time for a show to see who is the true ‘master of magicians’ of this era.” Arcane then displays a Neo Paradius Chaos Duel Disk with a dueling deck inside and Arcane says, “This deck contains Yugi-dono’s ‘strength’ taken from him. If you beat me, Yugi-dono will regain his strength.” There are looks of shock from the others and Arcane says, pointing to the entrapped Joey, “I also have another hostage. Basically, you really don’t have a choice.”

 

Hiyori takes a deep breath and steps forward in which Rika tells her, “You can’t, Hiyori! We can’t believe this guy! He is working for that witch!”

 

Hiyori says, with a nod, “I know, Rika, but we don’t have a choice. They won’t truly harm Yugi-dono and Joey-dono, because it would threaten them as much as us, but we can’t be sure what they will do with them and we need to get Yugi-dono’s ‘strength’ back.”

 

Keiko says, “Hiyori…”

 

Hiyori says, with a smile, “I’m okay. As long as you, my friends, are by my side, I know that I will be just fine.”

 

Kari says, taking out her Real Solid Vision duel disk, “Here you go, Hiyori.”

 

Hiyori says, taking Kari’s disk, “Thank you, Kari.” Hiyori attaches Kari’s duel disk to her left wrist and inserts her dueling deck, which was in one of her pockets, into the disk. Hiyori then steps forward and she says, “I’m here. Let Joey-dono go.”

 

Arcane says, with a smile, “Okay.” Arcane snaps his fingers and the chains binding Joey vanish causing him to stumble back.

 

Joey yells out, “Hey!” On the meanwhile, Hiyori and Arcane activate their duel disks, causing the ‘energy blades’ that contain their disk’s Monster and Pendulum Zones appear while their decks are being shuffled. Joey says, “Hold on!”

 

Sailor Moon tells Joey, “Joey-dono, you need to trust us. We’ll save Yugi-dono!” Joey snarls, but he knows that the only way that his best friend can be saved is that he trusts our heroes and heroines. With Hiyori and Arcane, their duel disks display 4000 life-points for each duelist as both of them draw five cards from their respective decks!

 

“Duel!” Arcane and Hiyori say in unison as their duel begins.

Arcane says, with a smile, “I’ll let you go first.”

 

Hiyori says, drawing a card, “Okay. I draw.” Hiyori says, putting one card onto the disk, “I place a monster face-down.” Hiyori says, putting one card into the main slot of the disk, “And then I place one card face-down and end my turn.”

 

Arcane says, drawing a card, “My move.” Arcane then says, with a sly grin, “And now, it is time for the show.” Arcane then says, displaying the Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell card, “To start this show, I play my Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell!”

 

Rika says, plainly, “I saw that coming.”

 

Kotone asks, “You can’t! Can’t you see that it is dangerous?”

 

Arcane says, with a plain tone, “We, all, make our choices and now the show must go on.” Arcane puts the card into the Field Spell slot of his disk and he roars out as column of eerie green light surrounds him.

 

Davis says, seriously, “He played it!” Just then a powerful wind hits the field and all of our heroes and heroines with the former Signers and Joey are thrown backwards as the seal surrounds the two of them in which Arcane gains the insignia of the Orichalcos on his forehead as well as red glow to his eyes.

 

Joey asks, looking around, “Hey! Where’s Yug’?”

 

The others look around and when Kotone looks up, she says, pointing upwards, “Up there!” Everyone looks up to see Yugi, still trapped in the hospital wheelchair, in some kind of force-field bubble.

 

Joey yells out, “Yug’!”

 

Arcane says, “Don’t worry. Yugi-dono will be just fine. That force-field will keep him safe until the show is over.” Arcane says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “And this show will start with a classic! Polymerization!” Arcane discards two cards, causing Berfomet (1400/1800) and Gazelle, the King of Mythical Beasts (1500/1200) to appear, and he says, “I fuse Berfomet and Gazelle to form…Chimera, the Flying Mythical Beast!” The two monsters go into a fusion vortex, Arcane takes a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck, and when he puts said card on his disk, Chimera, the Flying Mythical Beast (2100/1800) appears from the fusion vortex in attack mode and Arcane says, with a sinister smile, “And now, the Orichalcos boosts his power!” Chimera roars out as a dark violet aura surrounds him while the insignia of the Orichalcos appears on his forehead with a red tint in his eyes while Chimera goes from 2100/1800 to 2600/1800.

 

Joey says, with a snarl, “That rat is poisoning Yugi’s monster with that evil card!”

 

Arcane yells out, “For my next trick, I will make your face-down monster vanish! Chimera, attack!” Chimera leaps in to attack Hiyori’s face-down monster and it is revealed to be Fire Sorceress (1000/1500) in defense mode.

 

Hiyori says, “Fire Sorceress’ ability now activates! Since you flipped her face-up, I can now remove two cards from my hand! Then you lose eight hundred life-points!” Hiyori puts two cards from her hand away and Arcane yelps as his shoes get hit by flames in which he loses 800 life-points in which Hiyori says, pushing a button on the disk’s touch screen, “And then I activate my face-down card: Impenetrable Attack!” Hiyori’s face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Hiyori says, “This card has two effects, but I use its ability to protect my monsters from being destroyed by battle this turn!” A force-field appears in front of Fire Sorceress and Chimera’s attack hits it, doing no damage to Fire Sorceress.

 

Arcane says, with a scoff and dark smirk, “Well, aren’t you a little sorceress? Not bad, but not good enough.” Arcane says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I place a card face-down and end my turn.”

Hiyori says, drawing a card, “My turn!” Just then a card comes out of Hiyori’s pocket and back into her hand in which she says, “And now, this card returns to me! Card from a Different Dimension!” Hiyori displays her Card from a Different Dimension spell card and Hiyori says, “Since I removed it from play, during my next Standby Phase, it returns to my hand and both of us must draw two new cards from our decks.” Hiyori and Arcane draw two cards from their decks and Hiyori says, putting one card into the disk’s main slot, “Next, I activate Otherworld Alchemy of Greed! Since I have a spellcaster on my field, I can remove one spell card from my hand from play to draw two more cards!”

 

A card vanishes from Hiyori’s hand and Arcane thinks in his mind, “It doesn’t take a genius or magician to know that was her Card from a Different Dimension card.”

 

Hiyori draws two more cards from her deck and she says, putting another card into the disk’s main slot, “Then I play my Different Dimension Reincarnation equip spell! By discarding one card from my hand, I can return one of my banished monsters to the field by equipping them with this card!”

 

As a portal appears above Hiyori, Arcane says, “The other card that you removed with your Sorceress!”

 

Hiyori says, with a nod, “That’s right. And it is the one that you wanted to fight. I play…Dark Magician in attack mode!” Out of the portal, Dark Magician (2500/2100) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Arcane says, with a smile, “You managed to get your Dark Magician out, but he isn’t a match for my Chimera.”

 

Hiyori says, drawing two cards, “True, but that could change, Arcane-san. However, first, due to the effect of my Card of Compensation, I get two more cards from my deck since I discarded it from my hand straight to the grave!” Hiyori says, putting another card into the main slot of the disk, “Then I activate my Dark Magic Attack! Since I have Dark Magician on my field, all of your spell and trap cards are toast!” Arcane gasps as Dark Magician unleashes a powerful blast of mystic energy that destroys Arcane’s face-down card.

 

Arcane says, with a plain tone, “You might have gotten my face-down, but my Seal of Orichalcos can’t be destroyed so easily.”

 

Hiyori says, solemnly, “I know.” Hiyori says, putting one more card into the main slot of the disk, “Now, I play my Dedication through Light and Darkness! By releasing Dark Magician from my field, I can play Dark Magician of Chaos from my deck!” Dark Magician vanishes, a card coms out of Hiyori’s deck, and when she puts the card on the disk, Dark Magician of Chaos (2800/2600) appears on the field in attack mode. Hiyori says, “Now, my Magician, destroy Chimera!” Dark Magician of Chaos unleashes a powerful blast of mystic energy that destroys Chimera and costs Arcane 200 life-points. Hiyori says, “Due to my Magician’s ability, your monster is removed from play!”

 

Arcane says, as he puts the Fusion Monster card in his pocket and ‘out of play’, “But not before my Chimera uses his final trick! As he vanishes, one of the monsters used to bring him out reappears on the field and I choose Gazelle!” Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts (1500/1200-2000/1200) returns to the field in defense mode and gets infused with the power of Orichalcos.

 

Hiyori says, putting two cards into the main slot of the disk, “I place two cards face-down and during the End Phase of the turn that I summon Dark Magician of Chaos, I get one spell card back from the graveyard!” A card comes out of the graveyard slot of the disk and Hiyori says, after putting the card back into her hand, “With that I end my turn.”

Arcane says, drawing one card from his deck, “My turn! My move!” Arcane says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start off with Pot of Greed! With it, I draw two cards!” Arcane draws two cards, he gains a dark smirk, and then he displays Alpha the Magnet Warrior (1400/1700), Beta the Magnet Warrior (1700/1600), and Gamma the Magnet Warrior (1500/1800) monster cards in which he says, “And now, I send Alpha, Beta, and Gamma from my hand to the graveyard in order to summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior!” He sends three said Magnet Warriors’ cards to the graveyard, puts another card on his disk, and Valkyrion the Magna Warrior (3500/3800-4000/3800) appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos.

 

Joey says, “Ah, man! It is so much better when Yug’ did that move!”

 

Arcane says, “I switch Gazelle from defense to attack mode!” Gazelle switches from defense mode to attack mode and Arcane says, “Valkyrion, attack her magician!” Valkyrion then slashes Dark Magician of Chaos in half and he groans as he is destroyed in a powerful blast of magical energy causing Hiyori to yelp as she loses 1200 life-points.

 

Keiko says, worriedly, “Hiyori!”

 

Kotone asks, concerned, “Are you okay?”

 

Arcane says, “Gazelle, make her Sorceress disappear!” Gazelle leaps in and slashes Fire Sorceress causing her to yell as she is destroyed, but since she was in defense mode, Hiyori doesn’t lose any life-points. Arcane says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “And with I end my turn with a face-down. My, how the tables have turned? You should know better than to show your hand during a performance, Hiyori-san.”

I draw!” A card reappears in her hand and Hiyori says, displaying Card from a Different Dimension, “Now, I use the effect of my Card of Different Dimension! As Hiyori and Arcane draw two cards from their decks, Arcane says, “Using the same trick twice? For shame, Hiyori-san, it doesn’t make an interesting show.”

 

Sailor Venus says, annoyed, “Interesting show? This isn’t just ‘fun little game’! That card makes it dangerous!”

 

Yolei says, with a nod, “No kidding!”

 

Arcane says, with a dark plain tone, “No comments from the peanut gallery.”

 

Sailor Venus and Yolei give an annoyed snarls at Arcane and Hiyori says, pushing a button on the disk’s touch screen, “I reveal my face-down card: Soul Resurrection!” Hiyori’s face-down card is revealed to be the Soul Resurrection continuous trap card and Hiyori says, “This trap card revives one non-effect monster from my graveyard in defense mode and I choose…Dark Magician!” Just then Dark Magician (2500/2100) returns to the field in defense mode. Hiyori says, putting one card into the main slot of the disk, “Next, I activate my Knight’s Title! Now, I release Dark Magician to play Dark Magician Knight!” A card comes out of Hiyori’s deck, she puts it on the disk, and Dark Magician ‘transforms’ into Dark Magician Knight (2500/2100) appears on the field in attack mode. Hiyori says, “When Dark Magician Knight comes to the field, one card on your field is automatically destroyed!” Dark Magician Knight’s sword glows and slashes Valkyrion, who is cut in half and shatters into hundreds of data pixels.

 

Sailor Jupiter says, slyly, “Ha! She just made your monster vanish!”

 

Hiyori says, “Dark Magician Knight, attack Gazelle with Sword of Dark Magic Attack!” Dark Magician Knight’s sword glows bright violet and he unleashes a wave with a swing of his sword.

 

Arcane says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: Magic Cylinder!” Arcane’s face-down card is revealed to be the Magic Cylinder trap card and Arcane says, “Your attack is negated and you take damage equal to your monster’s attack points!” Arcane snaps his fingers and the magical cylinders pictured on the trap card appear in which one of them absorb Dark Magician Knight’s attack in which the other cylinder fires it right back at Hiyori.

 

Hiyori says, pushing a button on the disk’s touch screen, “I counter with my Damage Polarizer!” Hiyori’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Damage Polarizer counter-trap card and Hiyori says, “This negates your effect damage and both of us are allowed to draw a card from our decks!” A shield protects Hiyori from her Knight’s redirect attack and both Arcane and Hiyori draw one card from their decks. Hiyori says, discarding one card while putting one card on the disk, “By discarding one card, I can special summon my Apprentice Illusion Magician!” Soon enough, Apprentice Illusion Magician (2000/1700), a tan skinned and dirty blond haired version of Dark Magician Girl wearing a violet version of Dark Magician Girl’s outfit, appears on the field in defense mode. Hiyori says, “And now, magician’s ability allows me to take one Dark Magician from my deck and add it to my hand!”

 

Arcane says, with a sly smile, “It would be a nice trick if you had a Dark Magician to add from your deck to your hand.”

 

A card comes out of Hiyori’s deck and she says, displaying another Dark Magician (2500/2100) monster card, but this version having a picture of a dark grey skinned Dark Magician, “I do.”

 

Arcane and everyone else is shocked in which Leo yells out, “She has another Dark Magician?! But how is that possible?!”

 

Jack says, “It shouldn’t be! That card is BEYOND even ultra-rare!”

 

Keiko asks, surprised, “How do you have more than one Dark Magician, Hiyori?”

 

Hiyori says, nervously, “Actually, I don’t know…I just found them in my deck one day.”

 

Davis asks, confused, “How can that happen?”

 

Yugi thinks in his mind, amazed, yet, curious tone, “Could it be…?”

 

Arcane says, “I have to say that’s a good trick, but it will only help if you get your Dark Magician to the field.”

 

Hiyori says, putting two cards into the main slot of the disk, “I end my turn with two cards face-down.”

 

Arcane says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn.”

 

Arcane gets a dark sly smile on his lips and Rika says, a bit nervously, “I don’t like that look on his face.”

 

Arcane says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “You shouldn’t. I start this act with my Ancient Rules spell card! Now, I can play one level five or above non-effect monster from my hand!” Arcane says, putting one card on his disk, “Presenting, the star of the show: Dark Magician!” Soon after, the original Dark Magician (2500/2100-3000/2100) AKA Yugi’s Dark Magician, appears on the field in attack mode and he roars out as he gets engulfed by the power of the Orichalcos.

 

Yugi says, weakly, “No…Dark Magician…”

 

Arcane says, putting one more card on his disk, “And now, I release Gazelle to bring out Archfiend of Glifer!” Gazelle vanishes in which Archfiend of Glifer (2200/2500-2700/2500) appears on the field in attack mode and becomes infused with the power of the Orichalcos. Arcane says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate Card of Sanctity! Both of us have to draw until we have six cards in our hands, but I suspect that I will get more cards than you!” Arcane draws half-a-dozen cards from his deck and Hiyori draws only one card since she already has five cards in her hand in which Arcane says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play my Dark Magic Attack spell card! Ladies and gentlemen, watch and be amazed as I make her face-down cards vanish!” Arcane’s/Yugi’s Dark Magician unleashes a sphere of dark mystical energy that destroys Hiyori’s face-down cards and Arcane says, “And now, Dark Magician will make her Knight disappear as well!” Dark Magician then attacks Hiyori’s Dark Magician Knight and destroys it in one blow causing Hiyori to yelp as she loses 500 life-points in which Arcane says, with a dark smile, “And my Archfiend will make sure that his ‘backup’ will be joining him!” Archfiend of Glifer vaporizes Apprentice Illusion Magician, but since she was in defense mode, Hiyori doesn’t lose any life-points.

 

Keiko says, worriedly, “Hiyori!”

 

Davis says, annoyed, “This show really stinks! I want my money back!”

 

Arcane says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “I end my turn with two face-downs.”

Sailor Moon says, shaking her head, “No! However, the wording on the card also says that it can be used to summon any ‘Chaos’ or ‘Black Luster Soldier’ monster and she has a ‘Chaos’ Ritual Monster that she can summon!”

 

Hiyori says, discarding her Dark Magician (2500/2100) monster card to the graveyard slot of the disk, “I release my Dark Magician from my hand!” Dark Magician appears on the field and goes through a gateway that appears behind him in which Hiyori says, putting a Ritual Monster card on the disk, “And now, meet Magician of Chaos!” Out of the gateway, Magician of Chaos (2500/2100), a monster that looks like Dark Magician with a dark blue skin tone that’s in an outfit that’s a mixture of Dark Magician’s outfit and the outfit of Magician of Black Chaos, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Joey asks, confused, “Wait! Magician of Chaos? Isn’t it Magician of BLACK Chaos?!”

 

Joey looks at our heroes and heroines and Sailor Moon says, nervously, “That’s new to me.”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, “It must be a new version of Magician of Black Chaos.”

 

Hiyori says, putting one card into the main slot of the disk, “I activate my Silent Doom! I use it to revive Dark Magician!” Just then Dark Magician (2500/2100), the darker skinned version, appears on the field in defense mode and Hiyori says, “Since I play a spell card, Magician of Chaos’ ability now activates and one card on your side of the field gets destroyed!” Arcane gives a look of surprise and Hiyori says, “Make his Dark Magician disappear!”

 

As Magician of Chaos unleashes a dark mystic orb at Dark Magician, Arcane says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! For my next trick, I activate my Black Illusion!” Arcane’s face-down card is revealed to be Black Illusion trap card and Dark Magician disappears before the sphere from Magician of Chaos hits him in which Arcane says, “Ta-da! During this turn, all Dark Spellcaster monsters with two thousand or more attack points on my field lose their special abilities, but they can’t be destroyed in battle or effected by ANY of my opponent’s card effects!”

 

After Dark Magician returns to the field, Hiyori says, putting one card into the main slot of the disk, “Then I activate my Double Spell card! By discarding one spell card from my hand, I can use one spell card in your graveyard!” Hiyori discards one card from her hand, a card comes out of the graveyard slot of Arcane’s disk, and Hiyori says, putting said card into the main slot of the duel disk she is using, “And I choose Pot of Greed! And I draw two more cards!” Hiyori draws two cards from her deck and she says, drawing two more cards, “I also discarded my Card of Compensation to use Double Spell’s effect, so, I get two more cards!”

Arcane says, with a sly smirk, “Nice trick, but it won’t save you.”

 

Hiyori says, displaying her Eye of Timaeus spell/Legendary Dragon, “But this will! I activate Eye of Timaeus!” Arcane gasps in shock as the card glows and with a mighty roar, Timaeus, in his ‘dragon form’, appears with a mighty roar.

 

Joey yells out, excitedly, “Oh, yeah! Now, we’re talking!”

 

Hiyori says, “I merge Timaeus with Dark Magician!” Dark Magician leaps up onto Timaeus’ back causing an immense rainbow light to glow as a new Fusion Monster card appears on the disk that Hiyori is using in which she yells out, “Meet Amulet Dragon!” Out of the light, Amulet Dragon (2900/2500) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Rika yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, Hiyori!”

 

Hiyori says, “Amulet Dragon allows me to target any number of spells from any graveyard and remove them from play! Then my Amulet Dragon gains one hundred attack points for every spell removed and I play remove all spells in both graveyards!” Arcane becomes nervous as cards come out of the graveyard slots of both duel disks and Hiyori says, “And that’s a total of fifteen spell cards and that means that Amulet Dragon gains fifteen hundred attack points!” Amulet Dragon roars out as it goes from 2900/2500 to 4400/2500 and Hiyori says, putting another card into the main slot of the disk, “Next, I equip my Magician of Chaos with Magic Formula and boost his power by seven hundred!”

 

Arcane says, with a dark plain tone, “You can’t do that! Only Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl can use Magic Formula.”

 

Hiyori says, “As long as Magician of Chaos is on the field, he counts as Dark Magician.” Arcane’s eyes widen as Magician of Chaos goes from 2500/2100 to 3200/2100 and Hiyori says, putting one more card into the main slot of the disk, “Next, I play Aria from Beyond! I can activate any spell card removed from play as my own and I choose Pot of Greed!” Hiyori then draws two cards from her deck and Hiyori says, displaying Pendulum Oracle Mahad (2500/2100) monster card, “Since I managed to draw this card to my hand, I can summon Pendulum Oracle Mahad right now!” Soon after, Pendulum Oracle Mahad (2500/2100) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Arcane thinks in her mind, with an evil smile, “Too bad that my final face-down is the classic Mirror Force.”

 

Hiyori says, putting one more card into the main slot of the disk, “And now, I play my final spell card: Cold Wave! Now, all spell and trap cards are frozen until my next turn and we can’t play any spell or trap cards until then!”

 

Arcane yells out, shocked, “No!” Just then his final face-down card is frozen solid and a worried looks is on his features.

 

Rika yells out, excitedly, “You go girl!”

 

Kotone says, excitedly, “You can do it!”

 

Hiyori says, “I’m sorry, but I have to do what I must.” Hiyori yells out, “Mahad, attack his Dark Magician!” Mahad leaps into the air and Hiyori says, “When he attacks a Dark monster, his attack points double for this battle!” Mahad then goes from 2500/2100 to 5000/2100 in which he gives a silent nod before attacking Arcane’s/Yugi’s Dark Magician in which it casts a spell to protect itself from Mahad’s attack, but the ‘run-off’ hits Arcane causing him to yelp as he loses 2000 life-points.

 

Arcane says, nervously, “This can’t be!”

 

Hiyori yells out, “Amulet Dragon, end this duel now!” Amulet Dragon roars out as it unleashes its powerful attack and while Dark Magician creates an ‘illusion field’ to protect itself from the strike, plenty of it hits Arcane causing him to yell out as he loses 1400 life-points as well as the duel.

With the end of the duel, the last of the ‘projections’ vanish while Arcane collapses to the ground as the seal surrounds him while Hiyori collapses to the ground on her rear end with the others going over to him, but the force-field entrapping Yugi vanishes, however, before he can fall, Sailor Uranus swiftly grabs him and brings him to the ground. As Arcane’s soul is seal away, an orb is released from his deck and goes into Yugi’s form causing him to gasp as he feels his strength and energy return to him.

 

Joey asks, “Yug, are you okay?’

 

Yugi responds, leaping to his feet, “Better than okay, Joey. I feel great!”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “What was stolen from you has been returned.”

 

After the seal ‘vanishes’, Sailor Venus says, looking at Arcane, “Yeah, but he lost something.” Soon afterwards, the group has Arcane’s comatose form and they are looking at the Seal of Orichalcos with Arcane’s face/soul sealed on/in it now.

 

Yugi looks at his deck and Sailor Mars says, “Any ‘taint’ from the Orichalcos and Yuuko has been cleansed, Yugi-dono.”

 

Yugi says, “Thank you.” Yugi says, putting his deck into pocket, “Now, we need to get Kaiba’s ‘strength’ back and save Tea, Serenity, and Tristan.”

 

Kazuto says, “Easier said than done. We have no idea where their headquarters is. Sugu gave us knowledge on their former ‘bases’, but we know better than that they would return to their ‘old haunts’.”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, “And it looks like their leader is starting a more aggressive attack on us. She had us distracted with Nightshroud, who wielded powers from the Shadow Realm, to keep us away while they kidnapped Yugi-dono.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, “Agreed. It looks like she is ready for an ‘all-out assault’.”

 

Joey says, “That’s why we need to get in on this battle! They have my sister and two of my best buds hostage!”

 

Sailor Jupiter tells Joey, “Dueling has ‘evolved’ from your day, Joey-dono! Plus, we can’t risk you at all!”

 

Jack says, “No joke! Yugi Moto, Seto Kaiba, and Joey Wheeler are three important duelist in the history of Duel Monsters and the history of our world! If anything happens to any one of you, our world won’t be the same literally!”

 

Yugi says, “We know. We’re vital to your present, but I can’t just sit around while Tea, Tristan, and Serenity are being held hostage and being used by them! They are already using Tristan as an avatar for the Big Five, who managed to survive the destruction of Noah’s virtual world.”

 

Joey says, with a sneer, “I’m not too surprised. Corporate snakes like them always have a dirty trick or two up their sleeve! Remember, Johnson? He rigged my dice throws for the early part of the duel until Noah told him to cut it out!”

 

Sailor Moon says, “Anyway, we should get back to Yusei-dono’s apartment in Tops to rest and recover as well as to figure out a plan.”

 

Kazuto says, “Good idea. We aren’t doing anything just arguing about stuff here.”

 

Kotone asks, curiously, “What about Arcane?”

 

Tai says, looking at his ‘comatose’ form, “We’ll drop him off at Neo Domino City hospital for the time being.” Soon enough, our heroes and heroines along with Yugi, Joey, and the former Signers prepare to head out in which a number get the ‘feeling’ that they are being watched.

 

May 23, 2026, Neo Paradius headquarters

 

Inside of Neo Paradius, Yuuko is looking at a holographic screen as it vanishes in which she turns to look at Kana.

 

Kana says, “That plan failed.”

 

Yuuko says, “It did.”

 

Kana says, “You don’t seem too hung up on it.”

 

Yuuko says, with a plain tone, “It means that I have to ‘turn up my game’ and with the new powers that I have gained, I will be able to do so.”

 

Kana asks, “About Nightshroud?”

 

Yuuko says, “I doubt that he is gone, but I don’t think that he will be recovering too soon. That’s fine with me. I prefer that he remain ‘sealed’.”

 

Kana asks, “So, what will be doing next?”

 

Yuuko tells Kana, “As I have already said, I will be ‘turning up my game’.” Yuuko then looks towards the motionless forms of Tea, Serenity, and Tristan still trap to the hospital style beds with Full-Dive VR devices ‘attached’ to their heads.

 

May 23, 2026, Rainbow Gardens

 

Somewhere within Rainbow Gardens, a group of people are surrounded by a group of orc type monsters in which the group of people consist of elves, dwarfs, several humanoid people that have cat ears and tails, and one complete human. This human is young male wearing dark grey and silver paladin style armor with one-handed sword and shield in which he has face of the person that Leafa showed Sachi earlier.

 

One of the ‘cat people’ says, “This is bad.”

 

One of the dwarves says, with a snarl, “Damn overgrown brutes was clever than we thought.”

 

Another one of the dwarves says, with a glare, “Well, we aren’t going down without a fight and we’re going to take a good amount of these ugly bastards with us.”

 

One of the elves asks, annoyed, “Can you think of a way that we take down and survive?” Just then a female yell is heard and swooping in from the skies, Leafa comes with an aerial attack that hits one of the orcs in the head, causing a ‘critical hit’, and the orc to shatter into hundreds of data pixels.

 

Another of the ‘cat people’ asks, “Who or what is that?”

 

Another dwarf asks, confused, “A flying elf?”

 

Another elf says, “No, I believe that it is giant fairy. A human-sized fairy.” Soon enough, the orcs, surprised by Leafa’s surprise attack, divert their attention to Leafa and their attention is away from the group that they surrounded in which the dwarves make a ‘motion’ to this in which the group immediately use this to their advantage to surprise attack the orcs. Sachi and the Moonlit Black Cats come in from one flank with Leafa, flying above, attacks the orcs from above and after a good amount of time and hard battling, the group is saved.

 

Another of the elves, the leader of the ‘party’, tells Keita, leader of the Moonlit Black Cats, “Thank you, Keita. It was a bit of a situation.”

 

Keita says, with a smile, “No problem, Ventor.”

 

As the group starts to leave, Sachi says to the human male, “Hold on, Yugo-san.”

 

The human male asks, “What is it, Sachi-san?”

 

Sachi says, pointing to Leafa, “This is Leafa. She needs to talk to you.”

 

When the human male looks at Leafa, Leafa asks, “Are you Yuugo Kamishimo?”

 

The human male looks in shock and he asks, “How do you know that name?”

 

Leafa responds, plainly, “I know your sister, Yuuko.”

 

The human male asks, stunned, “You know my sister?”

 

Leafa says, solemnly, “Yes, I do. And I need your help…to stop Yuuko and save her from herself.” The human male, none other than Yuuko’s brother, gives look of shock and Leafa then starts to explain the situation to Yuuko’s brother, Yuugo Kamishimo.

 

May 23, 2026, Tokyo

 

It is evening time in Tokyo in which we find Vlad, Camula, and Myotismon looking down at some kind of facility.

 

Camula asks, “Is this it?”

 

Vlad says, with a nod, “Indeed.”

 

Camula tells Vlad, “I don’t like this.”

 

Vlad says, “I know, my dear. However, to fight our enemies, we need a significant army and the old method of creating our slaves is too long. Let’s just say that those weaklings had a point in creating Lumino. But you have to remember, they won’t be our equals. They aren’t blue blood like you and me, my dear. They will be servants to us, the true vampires. They will be glad just to be made into a superior species of what they once were.”

 

Camula asks Vlad, “Do you think that you have the power to control these ‘creations’?”

 

Vlad asks Camula, “Do you know who you are talking to, my dear?”

 

Camula says, with a giggle, “My mistake.”

 

Myotismon says, with a sinister smile, “This will prove very…entertaining, my friend.”

 

Vlad says, with a nod, “Yes, indeed.” As the two vampires and one vampire Digimon look at the facility, Myotismon vanishes in a stream of bats while Vlad and Camula vanish through streams of darkness that heads for the facility to proceed their sinister plans.

 

End of Chapter 11

 

It seems Yuuko is launching an ‘all-out offensive’ against our heroes and heroines and our Sailor Scout of Reality has found her brother within Rainbow Gardens. I told you, back in Shadow of Aincrad, it won’t be the last time that Rainbow Gardens is a ‘plot point’ in these stories and there are plenty more to come.
