[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
With the
idea of what happened with Nightshroud and Davis, I had a bit of a
different idea for Davis to get Red-Eyes Dragons, but I believe
that this idea makes a bit more sense, don’t you think? And
now, Yugi has regained his ‘strength’, all that’s
left is Seto Kaiba among ‘other things’ as you know.
Don’t worry, I have forgotten about ‘them’. Now,
before this chapter begins, I would like to give thanks and credit
to Belletiger and Kanius and Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon
series, especially this author’s The
Invasion of the Rajita
story, for giving me permission to use the idea of Valkyrie Sailor
Soldiers and everything that’s a part of them. I would also
like to give thanks and credit to Matty G91 and this
author’s story of Kamen Rider Lunar for giving me
permission to use Kamen Rider Lunar, his looks, and everything
about him as well as the UNI-SHOCKER
organization.

Sailor Moon Online
II: SAO Shippuden
(Sword Art Online II music ‘Courage’
starts)
As the intro
starts, we see images of swords go by and reflected on the blades
of the swords are images of Suguha and Leafa with the final
reflection from the blades of the sword are Rika, Lisbeth, SAO and
ALO forms, Keiko, Silica, SAO and ALO forms, Shion, Sinon, GGO and
ALO forms, Kotone, Philia, SAO/SAW and ALO forms, Hiyori, Kuro, and
Lux.
The next
shows Princess Selene then turning into a toddler Suguha Kirigaya,
who then ‘ages’ into a 13-year-old Suguha Kirigaya,
warping into Suguha Kirigaya of 15-16 years of age, then into
Eternal Sailor Celestial, and finally, into Valkyrie Sailor
Celestial. As Valkyrie Sailor Celestial turns to the skies to see
some unseen sight, Rika, Keiko, Shion/Sailor Orion, Kotone, and
Hiyori appear behind her.
Just then it
turns into images of Ancient Egypt of Atem’s time, Atlantis,
the original Domino City, Neo Domino City, and ALO before we see
Suguha Kirigaya looking at a ‘shooting star’ before she
transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial before facing an unknown
figure that uses the Seal of Orichalcos that surrounds her and her
enemy.
Next,
Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze are seen in
two separate images which change where Suguha, then Leafa, and
finally, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial are using their kendo/sword
techniques. Just then Rika/Lisbeth, Keiko/Silica,
Shion/Sinon/Sailor Orion, Kotone/Philia, and Hiyori/Lux are seen
before we see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, using her sword
techniques, is joined by Naruto, using his famous Shadow Clones and
Rasengan, in this
‘fight demonstration’.
Then we find
Valkyrie Sailor Moon walking slowly forward until she is face to
face with Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them stare at
each other before Valkyrie Sailor Celestial brings out Odd-Eyes
Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon
(2500/2000) with Valkyrie Sailor Moon brings out Odd-Eyes Phantom
Dragon (2500/2000) and Clearwing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) in which
they go into an epic clash with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Valkyrie
Sailor Celestial clashing blades themselves.
The scene
changes to Davis and Kazuto, looking a lot like his SAO avatar of
Kirito, facing off against Naruto with Naruto bring out Red Nova
Dragon (3500/3000) and Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon (3000/2500)
while Kazuto brings out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity
(4000/3500) and Davis brings out Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500)
along with the other Signer and Duel Dragons in which they launch
into an epic titanic fight.
Just then we
see Sailor Celestial, Sailor Orion, Lisbeth, Silica, Philia, and
Lux engaged by a legion of opponents including monsters from ALO
and Duel Monsters which they fight and defeat, but then a
mysterious figure brings out the Divine Serpent used by Dartz, but
Sailor Celestial, Lisbeth, and Silica bring out the three Legendary
Dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, and they transform into
their true forms: The Legendary Knights of Atlantis where they
defeat the Divine Serpent.
Naruto and
Sailor Celestial are back to back surrounded by Sakura, Hinata,
Rika, Keiko, Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori as a powerful circle
brings for the three Aesir, Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as the
three Egyptian God Monsters: Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in which all
of them unleash an incredible attack creating a massive bright
light. From that light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) emerges
along with the Crimson Dragon.
The scene
then switches to images of Yugi Moto, Pharaoh Atem, Seto Kaiba,
Joey Wheeler, Dartz, and more before switching to our heroes and
heroines with images of Neo Domino City, Aincrad/SAO, ALO, the
Elemental Countries including the Leaf Village, and more as images
of Suguha and Naruto from childhood into their current years are
seen before Suguha turns into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two
of them look into the distance.
Finally, we
have different scenes where we see Naruto training and mastering
the Rasengan, Leafa
flying through the virtual skies of ALO, Serena becoming Sailor
Moon for the first time, and leading to a scene with all of our
heroes and heroines, joined by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, racing
towards some kind of unknown destination in which it finally stop
at all of them assembled together flanked by Earth, Atlantis, and
the Leaf Village in the background along with the Legendary
Dragons/Knights, the Signer and Duel Dragons, the Aesir, and
Egyptian God Monsters.

Arc
III: Chapter 12: A Furiously Galactic Fang
May 23, 2026, Tokyo, Rath
headquarters
Inside of the headquarters of Rath, Suguha,
her two Digimon partners, Luke, and Luke’s Digimon partner,
Datamon, are looking at a screen.
Suguha asks Luke, “How is it coming
Luke?”
Luke says, “The download is working just
fine.”
Lunamon says, “I didn’t know you
had such a thing.”
Luke says, “Trust me, I didn’t
know either.”
Suguha looks at Luke and she says, with an
intense glare, “Luke…”
Luke asks, a bit nervously,
“W-What?”
Suguha asks, “How much is
Seijirou-san…or should I say, LIEUTENANT COLONEL
Seijirou-san is in on this?” Suguha says, glancing around
her, “And by the way, he may ‘invested’ in this
company as part of the Self-Defense Forces, but he should know
better.”
Just then a familiar male voice says,
“My. I have been ousted.” Everyone looks to the source
of the voice to see Seijirou Kikuoka, former head of the SAO Task
Force, walking out into the open. Seijirou says, “I must say
that your senses are sharp.”
Suguha says, “Being a warrior means that
you need to really develop your senses VERY well.”
Seijirou says, with a sly smile, “Yes,
it is so.”
Suguha asks, seriously, “So,
what’s does my visit get you?”
Seijirou says, with a sly smile, “My,
you sound like I had this planned all along.”
Suguha tells Seijirou, “Seijirou-san,
you know who and what I am, so, I’m damn well not an idiot.
Who are you exactly?”
Seijirou says, with a sly smile, “Well,
that would be telling wouldn’t it, Kirigaya-san?”
Suguha gives an annoyed look and Luke asks
Suguha, “Suguha, did you tell Yuuko’s brother the whole
situation?”
Suguha gives a sigh and she responds, plainly,
“Yeah…”
Flashback; May 23, 2026, Rainbow
Gardens
We are within Rainbow Gardens and we are
inside of a city within Rainbow Gardens where we find Leafa talking
with Yuuko’s brother, who is going by the name of Yugo, and
he has a shocked look on his face as Leafa explains everything.
Yugo says, solemnly, “Big
sister…”
Leafa tells Yugo, plainly, “And
that’s why I need your help, Yugo-san. I need your help to
stop her from herself.”
Yugo gets a solemn look and he says, solemnly,
“Yuuko…”
Leafa tells Yugo, with a solemn tone, “I
know that it is hard to take in, Yugo-san. And I know if you are
angry at me for getting your sister into that organization in the
first place…”
Yugo says, shaking his head, “No,
I’m not mad.” Leafa looks at Yugo in surprise and Yugo
says, “At first, I was a bit angry, but then I realized
something hearing your story. You were already brainwashed by those
guys when you went into their organization.”
Leafa says, solemnly,
“Well…”
Yugo says, “However, my sister
didn’t use that card that corrupted you before she came into
that organization.”
Leafa says, with a nod, “Well,
yes…”
Yugo says, with a solemn sigh,
“Sis…” Yugo says, solemnly, “Yuuko and
I…we really loved VR.” Leafa gives a look of surprise
and Yugo says, “The instant that we got the NervGear and
experience VR for the first time, we knew the possibilities that it
could be. It was a whole new world and we were really excited about
it. When SAO was announced, we were really excited. A vast new
world and people from all over the nation coming together. It like
a dream come true.”
Leafa says, “And then the dream became a
nightmare.”
Yugo says, with a nod, “Yes, I remember
that day. I remember when Kayaba said that we couldn’t get
out and if we died in the game, we died in real-life. I just
couldn’t believe it. I felt that it had to be some kind of
mistake. A joke.”
Leafa says, solemnly, “But it
wasn’t.”
Yugo says, shaking his head, “No, it
wasn’t. It was real. I was in a daze and I wondered what to
do. However, thinking about my sister and my father, it drove me to
join the battle to free ourselves from Aincrad.”
Leafa tells Yugo, “That was a very brave
choice, Yugo-san.”
Yugo says, with a smile, “No. It was
just a need. A need to get home to those that I love. I think that
plenty of others would understand.” Leafa nods her head in
agreement and Yugo says, plainly, “Despite all that happened
and despite all the danger, Aincrad was beautiful to me. And how
people came together to fight to get out, it made me believe in
what the reason why Yuuko and I loved Full-Dive VR and I still
believed in it…even in the end.”
Leafa says, “Based on what my big
brother and my other friends that are SAO survivors, it happened on
floor twenty-five and from what they told me, it was horrible
battle.”
Yugo says, with a nod, “That floor was
horrible. We start to suffer a lot of casualties long before we got
to the labyrinth. I was in the Aincrad Liberation Squad or ALS for
short at time. Our leader, Kibaou, managed to get to his feet
especially when he said that he got important information on the
boss. We went on the attack against the boss, a powerful two-headed
giant, and we were just devastated. The reinforcements, including
the most talked about players arrived…”
Leafa says, “Like my big brother and
Serena-chan, who was known as the ‘White Swordswoman’
early on and later on as the ‘White
Valkyrie’.”
Yugo says, with a nod, “I was shocked to
learned that Kayaba even trapped his own niece and while Kibaou
didn’t say anything nice about her…”
Leafa thinks in her mind, plainly, “I’ll bet.”
Yugo says, continuing his story, “She
was really awesome. I felt that she was a hero. She was doing her
best to save and protect as many of us as possible while also
helping us get out of the game. She was my inspiration. Now,
I’m not surprised since she is Sailor Moon after
all.”
Leafa says, with a weak smile,
“Yeah…” Leafa thinks in her mind, solemnly,
“However, she learned
that not even Sailor Moon could save everyone.” Leafa
asks Yugo, “Yugo, did you have any regrets?”
Yugo says, with a solemn smile, “Not
seeing my big sister and father again. I also wanted to tell her
how I still believed in Full-Dive VR.”
Leafa says, “She also still believed in
Full-Dive VR, but she thought that anything based on Kayaba’s
technology is evil. So, she wanted to ‘purify’ it.
However, the thing is, like it or not, everything Full-Dive VR is
based on what Kayaba developed, but it doesn’t mean that it
‘belongs’ to Kayaba. He used his technology for his own
selfish purpose when he could have made the world better in all
sorts of ways. I see what you and Yuuko saw from the
beginning.” Leafa says, solemnly, “However, Yuuko is
now consumed by revenge and I’m not sure if I can reach her
at all.” Leafa tells Yugo, “That’s why I need
your help.”
Yugo says, with a nod, “I
understand.” Yugo asks, curiously, “But how can I
help?”
Leafa tells Yugo, “Just leave that to
me.”
End Flashback; Return to the
Present
Back in the present, Suguha, her two Digimon
partners, Luke, Datamon, and Seijirou are looking at the
screen.
Lunamon asks Suguha, “He doesn’t
blame you for what happened to his sister, does he?”
Suguha says, with a sigh, “No, he
doesn’t.”
Datamon says, “Which is not surprising
since he sees thing logically. While you were under
‘duress’ when this Neo Paradius organization
‘recruited’ you, his sister was under NO same thing.
She made the choice to join of her own free will while you did not.
I can’t understand why you, humans, think so
illogically.”
Seijirou gives a nervous expression and Luke
says, with a nervous smile, “I guess, we, humans, are quite
illogical.”
Suguha tells Luke, “Tell me when Yugo is
safely ready.”
Luke says, “Of course.”
Suguha tells Seijirou, sternly and plainly,
“Don’t expect any favors from me or my family and
friends.”
Seijirou says, with a smile, “Oh, you
have done plenty for me, Kirigaya-san.” Seijirou thinks in
his mind, “More than
you realize, young princess. More than you realize.”
Seijirou tells Suguha, “You know that this might not
work.”
Suguha asks, with a bit of a glare in her
eyes, “What do you mean?”
Seijirou says, “Remember,
Yuugo-san’s body has been long ago cremated after his
funeral, the tradition of our nation after all, so, unlike
Yuuna-san, you won’t be able to revive him. Yuuko-san knows
that, too, and see her brother in this state might make even more
angry and further enraged. She might not listen even to
him.”
Suguha says, with a sigh, “Yeah, you
have a point. But I have to try.”
Seijirou asks, “And when I say does
happen, what then?” Suguha looks at Seijirou and he says,
“I’m a member of the SDF and duty-bound to defend our
nation. You are a Sailor Senshi and Senshi in our language means
‘warrior’ and ‘soldier’ in which it means
that you have a responsibility to the world. If Yuuko won’t
stop and threatens the world, you have to make a choice.”
Suguha says, with an intense glare, “I
don’t like where you are going with this.”
Seijirou says, “Understandable, but it
is the truth. As a Sailor Scout, you have a duty to the world and
the universe. And you may have to make a choice…like your
brother did. And before you shout at me for mentioning him, he had
to make a choice: The good people and the people he loved or the
murderous fiends that tried to kill him and those precious people
in his heart. If she doesn’t stop and she does something that
not only threatens the people that you love and care about, but so
many innocent ones, you may have also that same choice. The Assault
Team in SAO had to make the same choice to stop Laughing Coffin and
you may have to do the same.” Suguha can’t help to feel
a ‘tingle’ in her heart since she knows that
Seijirou’s words have a ‘ring’ of truth in
them.
Suguha says, “Hopefully, it will never
have to happen.”
Seijirou asks, “And if your hope
isn’t realized, Kirigaya-san?” Suguha doesn’t
answer and she then leaves the room with her two Digimon partners
following her.
(A
short time afterwards; Outside of Rath)
Outside of Rath headquarters, Suguha and her
two Digimon partners are walking out and preparing to head out
until Suguha stops in her tracks.
Agumon (Suguha) asks, “What’s up,
boss?”
Suguha says, seemly to no one, “You
know, it is rude to try to sneak up on a girl.” Suguha turns
over to an alleyway and out of the shadows, none other than Sakura
Haruno walks out into the open.
Sakura says, “Geez, you are
good.”
Lunamon asks, “Isn’t she one of
those ninja that come from that manga, Suguha?”
Suguha says, with a nod, “That’s
right. She comes from Naruto’s world. Her name is Sakura
Haruno and she’s Naruto’s teammate from his shinobi
team.”
Sakura says, nodding her head,
“That’s right. I’m not surprised that you know
since we are so well-known.”
Suguha says, “No kidding. Naruto is one
of our world’s most famous manga. It isn’t just
popular, here, in Japan, but worldwide.”
Sakura says, “It was pretty shocking to
find out that you are famous fictional character.”
Suguha says, a bit nervously, “Naruto is
popular world-wide, but you…”
Sakura says, with an annoyed look, “I
know! I know! I’m Sakura Haruno the ‘Naruto bashing
bitch’, I get it! I’ve seen a lot of fanfiction that
gets me bashed, smashed, and all around having my butt kicked
physically, mentally, and in-between.”
Suguha says, looking all over Sakura,
“It is still a bit hard for me to believe that it is the real
Sakura Haruno.”
Sakura says, crossing her arms around her now
ample chest, “I get that too. But I have you know that this
is all enhanced naturally. These babies have none of those silly
silicon implants in them at all.”
Suguha asks, nervously, “Naturally
enhanced?”
Sakura says, annoyed, “Let’s talk
about something else!”
Suguha asks, seriously, “Okay, so, why
are you here?”
Sakura responds, plainly, “Have you
taken what that Seijirou guy said to you? About doing what it takes
to protect people from your former
‘comrade’?”
Suguha and her two Digimon partners are
shocked and Suguha asks, surprised, “How did
you…?”
Sakura tells Suguha, with a smirk,
“Seriously, girl? Did you study up on our world at
all?”
Suguha retorts, with a plain tone,
“Fine! Why do you care?”
Sakura tells Suguha, “I care because
Naruto, Hinata, and I are living in this world now.”
Suguha asks, surprised, “Hinata? You
mean Hinata Hyuga?”
Sakura responds, “Is there any other
Hinata Hyuga?”
Suguha asks, “Forget that! What’s
the point?”
Sakura tells Suguha, “You know what the
point is, girl. You are supposed to be one of this world’s
protectors. And there are times that you have to put your personal
feelings aside for the greater good of everyone else.”
Suguha tells Sakura, “Says the one
obsessed with revenge driven Uchiha.”
Sakura says, with a solemn sigh, “Yeah,
I get it. I get it. After seeing all of the ‘fandom’
that our world gets, it has opened my eyes.” Sakura tells
Suguha, “And my ‘lesson’ should also teach you
something. Sasuke became obsessed with revenge over years and led
it to blind him to everything else. Yuuko is pretty much the same
as Sasuke and don’t give me any crap about how they are
different. The question is: What will you do? Your feelings or
everyone else’s lives?”
Suguha gives a ‘winch’ at
Sakura’s words and Lunamon says, concerned,
“Suguha…”
Sakura tells Suguha, “You have so much
power, but you can’t use it to its fullest for many reasons.
You are the freaking Sailor Scout of Reality and that must mean
that you draw your power from EVERYTHING! Everything in existence:
Living and non-living. Most likely, your potential is
limitless.”
Suguha responds, “Your point
being?”
Sakura tells Suguha, plainly, “We have a
way to unlock your potential and trust me, we do. And believe me,
it isn’t an ‘easy way out’ like Orichalcos junk
or Orochimaru’s Curse Seal. The true way to gain true power
and harness one’s true potential. And the way that you
are…probably the only way that you can stop Yuuko. You need
to think about this real carefully girl. Your feelings or the
world? Think about it.” Sakura then drops a smoke bomb that
explodes and unleashes a lot of smoke covering her, Suguha, and
Suguha’s two Digimon partners in which when the smoke
vanishes, Sakura is gone!
Lunamon says, shocked, “She’s
gone!”
Suguha says, “She is a ninja. It is kind
of her thing, Lunamon.”
Agumon (Suguha) asks, “Are you going to
be okay, boss?”
Suguha says, “To be honest…I
really don’t know, Agumon.” Suguha makes a motion that
says ‘let’s go’ and starts to head off with her
two Digimon partners following in concern.
May 24, 2026, ALO
Deep inside of ALO, we find Leafa flying
around the skies of ALO and heading for the former
‘center’ of ALO: Alne. However, ever since Yggdrasil
City got established after Ymir take over ownership of ALO, it has
become the ‘capital’ of ALO through Alne has become a
‘center’ for player taking on the high-lever dungeons
in the Alne area including Jötunheimr.
Leafa thinks in her mind, “Yuuko must be ready to make
her move. Big brother and the others are getting more and more
involved! This is getting ridiculous! I need to end this now!
Hopefully, Yugo-san will be able to snap his sister to her
senses.” However, remembers the words of Seijirou and
Sakura in which she thinks, “But what if? What if Yugo-san
can’t talk his sister to ending this madness? Will I really
have to choose?” Leafa can’t help to go into deep
thought and she doesn’t pay attention as she bumps into
someone mid-air causing her and her ‘victim’ to yelp
causing to say, in a panic and realizing what she did, “Yipe!
I’m so sorry! I-I wasn’t paying attention.”
Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Leafa?” Leafa then looks to see none other than Menma in front of her. Leafa asks, surprised, “Menma?” Menma says, with a grin, “Hey! Lucky meeting you here, Leafa-chan!” Leafa tells Menma, “Nice to see you, Menma. Sorry about bumping into you.” Menma says, “Well, I should have been paying attention too. With more and more players coming here to get rarer items and increase their skill stats, you have to watch out.” Leafa says, with a nod, “With Aincrad and Jotunheimr, it really isn’t surprising that they want to fight monsters around here to prepare for them.” Menma says, nodding his head in agreement, “No kidding, Leafa-chan. Believe it.” Menma then asks, “Anyway, since you did bump into me, you must be in real deep thought. What’s up?” Leafa says, in a plain tone, “IRL stuff.” Menma says, with a nod, “Oh, that. Well, say no more. That stuff is to be kept out of here.” Leafa nods her head in agreement with Menma and she then yelp as she grabs her head causing him to say, “Nothing like a good quest won’t cure! Come on!” Leafa yells out, nervously, “Hey! Whoa! Hold on, Menma!” Menma tells Leafa, “No way! It’s time for you to enjoy being Leafa and not worry about that stuff IRL. Let’s go!” Leafa yelps out as Menma drags her away on some kind of ‘adventure’. (Later on; Within Alne) Inside of the former capital of ALO, Leafa and Menma are walking through the streets and the two of them are laughing. Menma says, excitedly, “Whoa! That was close!” Leafa tells Menma, “No kidding!” Leafa tells Menma, with a glare, “And you were the one that dragged us into it!” Menma says, with a grin, “Hey, we got out, didn’t we? It was hairy, but we did it!” Leafa says, “By the skin of our teeth, Menma!” Menma says, with a grin, “True, but like I said, we did it and we got some awesome stuff!” Leafa says, holding a strong and extravagant decorated one-handed sword with a curved tip at the end, “Yeah. This baby isn’t like big brother’s Excalibur…” Menma asks, surprised, “Wait! Your brother has Excalibur, the most powerful one-handed sword in the game, and a legendary weapon on the level of Eugene-teme’s Demon Sword Gram?!” Leafa tells Menma, nervously, “Shush! Keep it down!”
Menma says, nervously, “Sorry.” Menma tells Leafa, with a smile, “Anyway, you seem happy.” Leafa says, with a smile, “Yeah, I am.” Leafa tells Menma, “Thanks, Menma.” Menma says, with a grin, “No problem, Leafa-chan.” Menma tells Leafa, as Menma brings up his menu, “Anyway, I know that this might be fast, but…” Leafa asks, confused, “What?” Just then Leafa hears a ‘chime’ in her head that’s the signal that a player message has been sent to her in which Leafa opens up her menu where she looks at Menma when she sees who the message is from. When Leafa opens the message, her eyes widen and she yells out, looking at Menma, “Whoa! Menma, I don’t think…!!” Menma tells Leafa, with a smile, “Why not?” Leafa tells Menma, “We just met online…!!” Menma tells Leafa, interrupting Leafa, “It isn’t like I’m asking you out on a date or anything! That would be way creepy! I’m just saying that we should meet IRL. I know that I said about keeping IRL stuff out of here, but you seem to need a friend to talk too since you don’t seem like talking to your family and friends.” Leafa asks, surprised, “How do you figure that?” Menma tells Leafa, “Well, you are with me and not been with them despite loving adventuring in this awesome place with them, right?” Leafa says, a bit nervously, “Y-Yeah…” Menma tells Leafa, “I don’t know what the heck is going on between you and them, but I can’t see someone like you get all sad. So, if you need to talk to someone outside of the sweet place, you know where to call on me.” Leafa says, with a kind smile, “Thank you, Menma.” Menma says, with a sly grin, “No problem.” Menma says, “Anyway, like I said before, let’s forget IRL and have a blast.” Leafa says, with a nod and a smile, “Right!” Leafa and Menma start to walk away, but Leafa gets a ‘feeling’ in which she glances over her shoulder, however, she doesn’t see anything, so, she continues to walk along. However, some distance away, a familiar Spriggan swordsman in black and Undine swordsman with her long blue hair in a familiar pair of pigtails that have meatball shaped buns is watching this scene with a familiar cute pixie girl. May 24, 2026, Tokyo, Dicey Café Within Dicey Café, we find our heroes and heroines, minus Suguha, Shion, Keiko, Rika, and Hiyori, are assembled together and discussing something. Ryoutarou asks, “Dude, you were spying on your sister?” Kazuto says, annoyed, “Hey, Klein, you made sound like I’m a stalker or something!” Serena gives an annoyed look and Mina says, with a smile, “Yeah, Klein! They’re family and family worry about each other.” Matt says, “True, but just because she is part of our group doesn’t mean that she can’t make friends in ALO without you spying on them.” Kari says, with a smile while looking at Tai, “I’m sorry to say that the natural instinct of big brother for their younger sisters. I should know.” Tai yells out, with a look of embarrassment and annoyed tone, “What’s that supposed to mean?” Davis says, with a grin, “You know what Kari-chan means Tai.” Yolei says, with a sigh, “Don’t I know it, Kari? Every time that I just mention a nice guy, my big siblings always get on my case.” Yolei tells Ken, with a nervous smile, “That’s before I met you, Ken-kun.” Ken gives a kind smile to Yolei and Tai says, annoyed, “Can we change the subject? Geez!” Kari can’t help to giggle at her big brother’s embarrassment. Andrew asks, “So, who is this player that she is hanging around with?” Serena says, “His name is Menma and he is a Cait Sith.” Kotone asks, “Does Shion or Keiko know about him?” Kazuto says, with a nod, “Yes. He is a new player, but he is quite good. He does well in the high level areas of ALO including New Aincrad.” Asuna asks, curiously, “You think that he transferred his avatar from another game?” Kazuto says, “Maybe, but you have to remember that ALO is also a skill-based game and not a level-based game. Sugu and Shion started new avatars in ALO and they did well. Sugu from her own kendo training and her ‘intimate abilities’ as Sailor Celestial and Shion did well due to her experience in GGO despite her NOT transferring her GGO avatar into ALO in which she created a new avatar through it looks similar to her GGO one.” Serena says, with a curious look on her face, “I was really shocked too.” Davis says, nodding his head, “No joke.” Andrew says, with a nod, “That’s a good point, bro. He could have previous VR experience or plenty of real-life that works well in ALO.” Ryoutarou says, “Or both.” Plenty of the others nod their heads and Amara asks Kazuto, “Do you think that he could be a problem?” Kazuto says, shaking his head, “By looking at him, he seems to be a decent person.” Serena says, “He really is a nice guy. He and Leafa are getting along.” Kazuto’s eyebrow twitches and Ryoutarou says, with a smirk, “Better watch it, Serena-chan. You might cause bro to go into ‘big brother mode’.” Kazuto asks Ryoutarou, “What’s that supposed to mean?” Ryoutarou says, with a grin, “Hey, bro, I’m not surprised that you are so protective of her. Your sister is quite the looker. She has that cute face and gorgeous body…” A few of the others, who are sitting nearby, slap Ryoutarou on the back of the head in which he yells out, annoyed, “Hey, what was that for?! I’m just telling it like it is. Bro’s sister is just like Asuna in her own way and it isn’t surprising that she would be the ‘light’ in plenty of guy’s eyes.” Mina says, with a smile, “Well, I got to say that Ryo has got a point. Suguha has got that classic anime style of cute face mixed with hot body. She is a rival for Asuna making guys attracted to them.” Asuna says, nervously while blushing, “I-I don’t do that on purpose.” Serena says, with a kind smile, “We know, Asuna.” Kazuto says, “Well, Serena and I are very worried for her. We’re family after all and she is kind of shutting us out.” Tai tells Kazuto, “Don’t blame you for being so worried, Kazuto. Not after what we learned.” Lita says, “Never knew that she had such a major ‘chip on her shoulder’.” Amara says, “Well, she is letting it get to her and that’s only good news for our enemy.” Hotaru tells Amara, nervously, “Amara-papa…” Amara responds, “That’s honestly true, Firefly. She is letting what happened dominate her thinking and letting her emotions mess with her sense which gives our enemies the advantages over her.” Mina says, “Well, as long as she is really stern in saying that she would be taking care of this herself, there is nothing that we can do.”
Ryoutarou says, “Man! This is just nuts! Soul-sealing cards, time-travel, and vampires. You can’t help to wonder what’s next.” Mina says, slapping her head, “Hey, you never say that!” Raye tells Mina, “Come on, Mina-chan! That only happens in anime and manga.” Lita asks, “What else weird could happen?” Just then the door to the café opens and everyone looks to find Kite entering inside of the café causing a lot of our group to widen their eyes in surprise. Andrew asks, plainly, “May I help you?” Kite says, plainly, “Just want to ask a simple question.” Kite pushes a button on his device attached to his left wrist, displaying a holographic image of Heartland, and he asks, “Have any of you seen this man around?” Everyone looks/glances at each other and Kotone says, a bit nervously, “No, I don’t think so.” Yolei says, “Not me. If I saw someone like that, you would know instantly.” Lita says, nodding her head, “No kidding.” Kite deactivates the hologram and he says, “I see. Thank you for your time.” As Kite walks away, Davis asks, “Who is that guy?” Kite says, “No one you need to know about and if you see them, don’t even think of passing by him much less talk to him. He is bad news and to be taken on by professionals.” Davis yells out, irritated, “And what do you mean by that?” Lita asks, annoyed, “What are you, the police?” Kite replies, “Just think of me as a bounty hunter of sorts and him as my prey. Now, if you excuse, I don’t have time to talk. I’ve got work to do.” Kite then walks out the door, closing the door behind him. Mimi asks, confused, “What was that all about?” Ryoutarou says, with a shrug, “You got me.” Just then Ryoutarou notices Mina giving him a look that said ‘I told you so’ and he asks, a bit nervously, “What?” Kazuto, Asuna, Kotone, Andrew, and others are shaking their heads. Andrew says, “Whatever that was, the guy that he showed us was pretty creepy.” Amara says, with a plain tone, “I know, Andrew. That guy on the hologram had an evil look in his eyes. I know ‘looks of evil’ and he had it, big time.” Raye says, nodding her head in agreement, “I hear you, Amara. It may have been just a hologram, but that look in his eyes…bad news.” Hotaru then notices that Trista had an intense look in her eyes and Hotaru asks, curiously, “Trista-mama?” When everyone starts to look at Trista, Trista gets to her feet and she says, “I’ll be right back, everyone. I need to check something.” Before anyone could say anything, Trista walks out of the café. Ryoutarou asks, confused, “What was that all about?” Michelle says, “It is best that we wait for her to return for her to answer that.” Many of the Sailor Scouts and Darien nod their heads in agreement while plenty of the others give confused looks. May 24, 2026, Tokyo, Akihabara In the Akihabara area of Tokyo’s Chiyoda Ward, we find our Sailor Scout of Reality with her two Digimon partners looking around. Suguha says, “It has been a while.” Agumon (Suguha) asks, “So, what are we doing around here, boss?” Suguha says, “To have a talk with a certain new friend of Arata.” Lunamon says, “You mean that Nighteater girl? But I thought that Nighteaters and Synthisters were different from vampires.” Suguha says, “Yep. Vampires feed on blood and Synthisters feed on energy much like youma and certain types of yokai, Lunamon. However, Synthisters also have a weakness to sunlight similar to those bloodsuckers, but while vampires can’t be exposed to sunlight at all no matter how much clothing they have on, Synthisters need to keep everything covered, minus their head and hands, and they can walk out in daylight just fine. However, that got me thinking. The weakness might have certain differences, but they are similar. It makes me think that Synthisters, maybe Nighteaters, ‘evolved’ from vampires or they undergone a ‘mutation’ from vampires. Or, if Synthisters and Nighteaters didn’t ‘evolve’ or are a ‘mutation’ of vampires, maybe the three of them came from the same ‘evolutionary line’.” Lunamon asks, “You mean a common ancestor?” Suguha says, with a nod, “Bingo, Lunamon. Hopefully, it means that Arata’s Nighteater friend would be able to help us.” Agumon (Suguha) asks, “Isn’t your friend also a Nighteater since you and the others helped purify him of that Synthister stuff?” Suguha says, with a nod, “Yes, he is.” Lunamon asks, “What if Shizuku-san can’t help us in any way?” Suguha says, with a shrug, “Then we are back to square one. I already have enough on my plate.” Suguha says, “Anyway, before we visit Arata and the others, I would like to check one more thing.” Agumon (Suguha) asks, “What’s that boss?” Suguha says, “I hope to see how Future Divers are doing.” Lunamon says, “I hope that they are okay. That whole ‘Sword Art World’ mess was scary.” Agumon (Suguha) says, “Wish we were there, boss.”
Suguha says, “I know, Agumon. I was just glad that Future Divers didn’t suffer the same fate as Argus and I heard that they won’t let what happened with Sword Art World stop them.” Lunamon asks, curiously, “Really?” Suguha says, with a smile, “Yep. They have a new project and they have some ‘big wig’ expert in VR supporting them.” Agumon (Suguha) asks, curiously, “Who is that?” Suguha says, “Her name is Doctor Nanairo Arshavin. They also called her ‘Rainbow Arshavin’. She is the number one expert on Full-Dive VR. And get this! She is just twelve years old and she graduate the best American universities with a PHD!” Agumon (Suguha) says, amazed, “Whoa!” Lunamon says, amazed, “She must be a super-genius!” Suguha says, with a nod and smile, “No joke, Lunamon!” Suguha says, with a smile, “I want to see how they are doing and see how their ‘safe SAO’ is doing. If their version gets off the ground, it could put a final cork in that ‘dark legacy’ and Full-Dive VR will have a good future to look into.” Just then a familiar female voice says, “It won’t be if your former ‘comrade’ has her way.” Suguha and her two Digimon partners look towards the source of the voice to see Sakura walking towards her. Suguha says, stunned, “You!” Sakura tells Suguha, with a sly smirk, “Why do you look so shocked?” Suguha retorts, surprised, “Why? What are you doing here?” Sakura tells Suguha, “I live here now.” Suguha gives a look of shock and after she gets close to Suguha and her two Digimon, Sakura tells Suguha, “And before you say anything, I ask you this: Why not? Here, people wouldn’t give me a glancing look.” Suguha was about to say something in retort and she then looks around Akihabara causing her to realize what Sakura is implying. Suguha says, “Actually, you’re right.” Sakura says, with a smile, “I’m just a cosplayer to them. And this place is perfect for hiding in plain sight. It pays to be part of a famous anime and manga.” Suguha tells Sakura, “So, why are you here? I don’t think you are here to say ‘hello’.” Sakura says, with a plain tone, “I was wondering if you had given what Seijirou-san and I said to you any thought.” Suguha replies, with a plain tone, “I can’t get what you, both, said to me, but I’m not giving up hope that there will be another and better solution.” Sakura says, “I’m not saying that you don’t go that path. Naruto has found ‘other ways’ to win that don’t involve the ‘obvious’. It is the reason why he is the most unpredictable ninja of our world.” Suguha says, with a plain tone, “No kidding.” Sakura says, with a serious expression and plain tone, “However, Naruto knows that if there is no ‘other way’, then he knows what needs to be done for the sake of others. And that’s what you need to think about.” Suguha says, with a sigh and plain tone, “Yeah, I get it.” Sakura tells Suguha, “Do you? I would like to test that.” Suguha asks, curiously, “How is that?” Sakura displays a pink Real Solid Vision duel disk with flames and she responds, “On your ‘battlefield’ of course.” Suguha asks, surprised, “You duel?” Sakura tells Suguha, with a confused quirk of her eyebrow, “Well, no duh. Naruto, Hinata, and I have been in your world over half-a-year. What do you think?” Suguha replies, a bit nervously, “Okay. Point taken.” Sakura tells Suguha, “And if you ask what do you get out of it? Simple. A Neo Paradius hideout location.” Suguha and her two Digimon partners gasp and Suguha asks, shocked, “Say what?!” Suguha asks, with a serious glare, “Are you playing me?” Sakura says, seriously, “Do I look like the type Kirigaya-san? And before you answer that, I’m not. How we got this information? Basically: ‘If I told you, I would have to kill you.’ That’s the short end of it.” Sakura asks Suguha, “Can you risk not getting the information that I might or might not have?” Suguha asks, “Where?” Sakura says, “Follow me.” Sakura then starts to head off in which Suguha follows her with her two Digmon partners heading off after them. However, what they don’t know is that they were being followed by familiar VR sniper/archer, VR blacksmith, VR ‘dragon tamer’, and the current ‘holder’ of Yugi Moto’s famous Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. May 24, 2026, Tokyo, Odaiba District Within the Odaiba District of Tokyo, our Digidestined and their Digimon partners along with Kazuto, Asuna, and Kotone are assembled together. Asuna says, “I hope that Sinonon, Liz, Silica, and Hiyori are okay.” Kazuto tells Asuna, “They will be fine. Shion is the ‘hunter of the Sailor Scouts’ and she can ‘smell’ danger.” Tai says, “True, Kazuto. However, this organization does have tech that they stole from UNI-SHOCKER.” Matt tells Tai, “That’s reassuring, Tai.” Ken says, “But it lies a good point. We can’t underestimate Neo Paradius.” TK says, with a nod, “No joke.” Patamon says, “No kidding.” Gatomon says, “We don’t know when and where they will attack.” Davis says, with a nod, “You got that right. We’re totally on the backfoot and I hate that.” Kari says, “I know, Dai-kun. However, we have no idea where they even are.” Izzy says, “We may have locations on their old hideouts, but so far, there have been no clues.” Kazuto says, “We’re hoping that there might be something at this old hideout and the one in Juuban based on Sugu’s information.” Asuna says, “It is why I’m here. Serena-chan’s group is made up of Sailor Scouts, but only Kari-chan is a Sailor Scout with you. They felt that two Sailor Scouts are better than one.” Davis says, annoyed, “And what I am? Chopped liver? I’ve got my own set of powers, too!” Agumon says, annoyed, “And what about us? We’ve saved the world too.” Asuna says, nervously, “No insult to all of you.” Mimi asks, “But what about that guy that came into the café earlier?” Yolei asks Mimi, “What about that jerk, Yolei?” Mimi says, “Well, it is about that weirdo person that he showed us.” Davis says, with a smirk, “What that freak? I doubt that he will come a mile of us!” Kazuto says, nervously while pointing ahead, “Um, Davis…” Everyone looks in the direction to find none other than Heartland in front of them. Yolei tells Davis, annoyed, “You had to stay that.” Heartland says, excitedly, “Hello! Hello!” Tai asks, with a glare, “And who the heck are you?” Heartland responds, “The name is Heartland and I am just a humble messenger.” Kazuto asks, with a serious glare, “For who exactly?” Heartland replies, with a wicked smile, “Who? Why for Lady Yuuko-sama of course.” There are gasps of shock and just then a massive dark violet dome of energy surrounds all of them and a good portion of the area around them. Sora asks, confused, “What in the world?” Just then Davis, Kari, Asuna, and the Digimon yelp out causing them to nearly stumble. Kazuto says, concerned, “Asuna!” Kotone asks, “Are you okay?” Asuna says, woozily, “I feel…weaker…” Heartland says, with an evil smile, “That would be the energy dampening field that we created from UNI-SHOCKER technology and information. Your super-powered members are powerless and your ‘digital pets’ can’t also ‘transform’ into their ‘higher forms’.” Patamon says, with a grunt, “Hey! We’re not pets!” Palmon says, weakly, “I feel…weak…” Ken says, “This field must be replication energy similar to the Control Spires that negate Digivolution.” Izzy says, with a nod of agreement, “Most likely, your theory is correct. The field must also be tuned to Davis’ and the Sailor Scouts’ energy fields.” Heartland says, “Speaking of said ‘Star Dragon King’, this is his ‘invitation’ to duel.” Just then out of the shadows, a pair of duelists come out to face our group. The first duelist is a male of around 17 years of age with dirty blond hair in a short mop, violet eyes, and wearing an outfit similar to Zane’s ‘Hell Kaiser’ outfit. The second duelist is a female of the same age with similar dirty blond hair that’s long and flowing, similar violet eyes, and wearing something similar to Mai Valentine’s usual outfit. Both duelists have Neo Paradius Chaos Duel Disks attached to their left wrists that have dueling decks inside and Heartland says, with a wicked smile, “Meet Allen and his twin sister, Saya.” Allen, the male duelist, says, with a sly grin, “Hey there.” Saya, the female duelist, asks, slyly, “Ready to duel?” Davis growls as he gets his duel disk from his sub-space pocket and attaches it to his left wrist while putting his decking deck in his disk. Yolei yells out, annoyed, “Hey! Two-on-one is unfair!” Heartland says, with a sly grin, “Oh, don’t worry. This is going to be fair since this will be a tag duel.” Heartland asks, slyly, “So, who will be the lucky partner to the ‘Star Dragon King’?” Just then a familiar male voice yells out, “How about me, you snake?” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Kite walking up towards them. Tai asks, surprised, “Him again?” Heartland asks, surprised, “Kite?!” Kite responds, “That’s right, you rat! You wouldn’t think that I wouldn’t follow into another Earth, Heartland? Then you must becoming senile!” Heartland sneers at Kite and he yells out, “How dare you?! I am full of youthful energy!” Kite says, “You are a clown, Heartland! And I intend to bury you for good!” Heartland tells Kite, with a smirk, “You think so? You might want to take a good look! Dueling, here, is a bit different than back at home.” Kite says, with a wide smile, “Actually, not as much as you think. Since you have been gone for a while, let me fill you in. Recently, my father, Doctor Faker, worked with the best scientists all over our Earth to develop a better system of dueling and what do you know? They discovered Real Solid Vision, same as right here!” Kite displays his duel disk in which it activates creating a white crescent moon shaped ‘energy blade’ containing Monster Card Zones through it seems like there is room for two more ‘zones’ and Kite says, with a sinister smirk, “Originally, I was given this duel disk to use as a weapon to take you down and personally, after what you have done, I wanted to summon a real-version of my dragon and vaporize you back into the oblivion where you belong! I still might get the chance after beating those two chumps!” Saya asks, “Oh, yeah, tough guy?” Allen says, “My sister and I are going stomp you flat!” Saya and Allen activate their Chaos Duel Disk causing them to activate their ‘energy blades’ containing the Monster and Pendulum Zones. Davis says, activating his duel disk, “Not without me!” Kite tells Davis, “Just make sure that you don’t hold back.” Davis yells out, annoyed, “Hey! You are the guy that just butted in!” Kite tells Davis, “Didn’t I explain to you that this person was dangerous? He is a manipulate snake and a very dangerous one at that!” Heartland says, “Says the person that ruthlessly hunted and terrorized duelists to get ‘certain cards’ to save his precious little brother.” There are looks of surprise from the others and Kite says, “If you think that bringing the ‘skeletons in my closet’ will throw me off my game, Heartland, you have got another thing coming! I’ve long ago accepted that I have stained my soul with my crimes when I hunted Numbers, but it doesn’t mean that I can’t make up for them and I intend to do that by burying you in the ground that you will never cause harm to anyone else, Heartland! I have many crimes on my soul, but your crimes are greater! Or have you forgotten what you did? Our world was nearly absorbed by Barian World and you helped Vector and Don Thousand take so many countless souls to have Barian World fuse and absorb our Earth to destroy Astral World and murder all of its people! It’s judgement day for you, Heartland!” Heartland responds, “I beg to differ, Kite!” Heartland says, pointing to Kite and Davis, “Saya, can you and your dear brother take out those two troublesome boys?” Allen says, with a nod, “With pleasure!” Heartland says, with a sinister grin, “And you won’t stand a chance! I’ve given them a quite a ‘power-up’.” Kite retorts, with a wicked grin, “Heh! You’ll find that I’m not the same duelist that I was! My deck has been upgraded and I’ve been given a few special cards by some ‘old friends’.” Heartland asks, confused, “Old friends?” Kite says, “You’ll see. Once you see the cards, you’ll know who they are. They send their ‘hellos’ by helping me turn you into ash!” All four duelists then have their decks shuffled, their duel disk’s touch screen display 8000 life-points for each team of two duelists, and all four of them draw five cards from their respective decks. “Duel!” all four duelists say in unison as their tag-team duel begins in which all the grey-black in Kite’s clothing turns to white in a flash causing looks of surprise from Davis and the rest of our heroes and heroines here. Starting Scores: Davis and Kite: 8000 Allen and Saya: 8000 Davis says, drawing a card, “I’ll take the first turn! My turn! I draw!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Ancient Rules! Now, I can summon one non-effect monster from my hand! And I choose Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” Davis puts one card on his disk and Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Kite thinks in his mind, “That’s a monster that you don’t see every day.” Davis says, putting another card on his disk, “Then I play the Tuner monster, Dragunity Corsesca, in attack mode!” Just then Dragunity Corsesca (800/700) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “I tune Dragunity Corsesca with Red-Eyes!” Dragunity Corsesca turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Red-Eyes, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field. Davis says, “Clustering hopes become a new shining star, become the path that its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he yells out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Kite thinks in his mind, “A Synchro Summon, huh? I heard that this was the main type of summoning for this place despite them gaining XYZ summoning a year or two ago. In our world, when XYZ Summoning became the mainstay of dueling, Synchro and Fusion Summoning went on the decline. There are a number of duelists that use those summoning methods back home, but not as much as used to be.” Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I throw down a couple of face-downs and call it a turn.” Allen says, drawing a card, “I’ll go first!” Allen gives an evil smile and Allen says, displaying his Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell, “And as you might expect, I activate my Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell!” Kite says, “Never heard of that card before!” Heartland tells Kite, as Heartland starts to run to the edge of the field, “Oh, you are going to enjoy this!” Allen inserts the card into the Field Spell slot of his disk and starts to glow an eerie green. Davis yells out, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong! I activate my Curse Seal of Forbidden Spell!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Curse Seal of Forbidden Spell counter-trap card and Davis says, discarding the last card in her hand, “By discarding a spell card in my hand, I negate the activation of your spell and destroy it!” Just then Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell card eject out of Allen’s disk and vanishes in pixels of light in which Davis says, “And you also can’t use the same spell card for the rest of the duel!” Kari says, excitedly, “Nice one, Dai-kun!” Ken says, with a smile, “Thanks to your success in that duel with Commander Koda, we developed plenty of anti-Orichalcos tactics.” Saya retorts, with a sly smirk, “Or have you forgotten that we developed counters to your tactics? All of us are now equipped with the card that little miss ‘sun spot’ faced with him.” There are gasps of shock and Tai says, nervously, “Uh oh. That’s not good.” Allen says, with a grin, “So, you think that one little setback gets us? Think again! And we have other new surprises that you’ve never seen before!” Davis says, drawing two cards from his deck, “By the way, the card that I discarded was my Card of Compensation! And when it goes from my hand to the grave, I get two new cards! Your move, buster!” Allen says, putting one card onto his disk, “My pleasure! First, I start with Star Seraph Sage!” Just then Star Seraph Sage (1600/1400) appears on the field in attack mode. Kite thinks in his mind, surprised, “That monster!” Allen says, discarding one card from his hand, “By discarding one spell card from my hand, my Sage allows me to summon one Star Seraph monster from my hand! And I choose another Star Seraph Sage!” Allen puts another card in his hand on his disk and another Star Seraph Sage (1600/1400) appears on the field in attack mode in which Allen says, drawing two cards from his deck, “And like you, I discarded my Card of Compensation and that gives me two more cards from my deck!” Allen says, discarding another card from his hand, “I activate the effect of my second Sage and discard another spell card to summon another Star Seraph monster! This time, I choose Star Seraph Scepter!” Just then Star Seraph Scepter (1800/400) then appears on the field in attack mode and Allen says, as a card comes out of his deck, “When he is brought to the field, I can add one other Star Seraph monster from my deck to my hand!” Kite says, plainly, “Here it comes.” Davis gives a confused look and Allen yells out, “And now, I Overlay my two Star Seraph Sages and my Star Seraph Scepter in which I build the Overlay Network!” The three monsters turn into lights that goes into a vortex while Allen shuffles all three monster cards onto the same Monster Card Zone on his disk, gets an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck, and he yells out, putting the XYZ Monster card on his disk over the three monster cards, “Now, appear, number one hundred and two: Star Seraph Sentry!” Out of the vortex, a ‘spindle’ orbited by three Light Overlay units appear and that ‘spindle’ then ‘transforms’ into Number 102: Star Seraph Sentry (2500/2000), a golden humanoid monster with three Light Overlay Units orbiting it, in attack mode in which Davis and Kari feel a ‘winch’ due to that. Yolei asks, confused, “What the heck is that?” Allen says, with a grin, “And thanks to my Scepter’s ability! When it is used as material to summon an XYZ Monster that needs three monsters to XYZ Summon, my XYZ Monster gains an additional effect! It destroys one card on the field and I draw a card! So, say goodbye to your dragon!” As Star Seraph Sentry glows, Davis shouts out, “Stardust Dragon’s ability activates! When a card destroying effect is activated, I release Stardust and that effect is negated with your card destroyed!” Stardust Dragon turns into a hundreds of ‘bits’ of ‘stardust’ that rain down on Star Seraph Sentry. Allen yells out, “Wrong! I activate my Sentry’s ability! When he is about to be destroyed, I remove all of his Overlay Units instead!” Star Seraph Sentry absorbs all of its Overlay Units and it creates a field to protect itself from Stardust Dragon’s ‘stardust’. Allen says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I end my turn with a face-down!” Davis says, “During the End Phase of the turn that Stardust uses his ability, if he has negated an effect , he revives! Welcome back, buddy!” Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) then returns to the field in attack mode and Davis says, with a grin, “All that got you was a big fat nothing!” Kite says, drawing a card, “And he is about to be dust! My turn! I draw!” Kite says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “To start off my turn, I play a simple spell card! Graceful Charity! Now, I draw three cards and discard two from my hand!” Kite draws three cards, discards two cards, and he says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate Premature Burial! By dropping eight hundred life-points, I can summon one monster from my graveyard back to the field!” Davis’ and Kite’s life-points drop by 800 and he says, annoyed, “Hey! Those are my life-points too!” Kite yells out, ignoring Davis, “I revive my Daybreaker!” Just then Daybreaker (1700/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, putting one card on his disk, “And since I Special Summoned one Daybreaker, I can bring out another!” A second Daybreaker (1700/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, putting another card on his disk, “And since you like things in threes, I think you’ll love another Daybreaker!” Just then a third Daybreaker (1700/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, “Now, it is time to Overlay all three of them and build the Overlay Network!” All three Daybreakers turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground, Kite puts all three monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone on his disk, and he takes an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck. Kite says, putting the XYZ Monster card on his disk where the other monster cards are, “My deck is new and improved, but I think that we should start with a classic! A classic Number like Number Ten: Illumiknight!” Out of the vortex, Number 10: Illumiknight (2400/2400), with three Light Overlay units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Heartland asks, confused, “How did you get that card?” Heartland then says, realizing and gaining a sly smile, “Oh, I get it! They must have given it to you!” Kite says, with a smirk, “That’s right. A ‘loan’ from Astral and Yuma to say ‘hello’, Heartland.” Heartland says, “Well, isn’t that sweet? Aren’t you all buddy-buddy now?” Kite says, with a smirk, “We’re not ‘buddy-buddy’, but as they always say: ‘The enemy of my enemy is my friend’. In this case: You!” Heartland says, with a grin, “Be it as it may, whatever power you were ‘loaned’ won’t help you.” Kite says, “Let’s see about that! I activate Illumiknight’s ability! As you already know, Heartland, by removing an Overlay Unit and discarding a card, I get a new card from my deck!” Illumiknight absorbs one of its Overlay Units, Kite discards a card, and Kite draws another card from his deck in which he says, “By the way, the card that discarded was one of the ones that the two before me just used: Card of Compensation! That means two new cards for me!” Kite draws two cards from his deck and he says, putting one card on his disk, “Next, since there are XYZ monsters on the field, I Special Summon Photon Slasher!” Just then Photon Slasher (2100/1000) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, putting one more card on his disk, “Then, since I control a Photon monster, I can then Special Summon Photon Vanisher!” Soon after, Photon Vanisher (2000/0), a blue and black humanoid warrior monster with a high-tech blaster weapon, appears on the field in attack mode. Kite says, “When Photon Vanisher comes to the field, it can’t attack on the turn that it is summoned, but since this is a tag duel and this is my first turn, it won’t matter. However, Photon Vanisher allows me to get a certain monster from my deck!” A card comes out of Kite’s deck and Kite says, “And now, I will summon it by releasing my Photon Slasher and my Photon Vanisher!” Both monsters vanish as Kite puts a card on his disk and just then a strange dark blue shuriken appears on the field in which he grabs it and throws it up into the air where it shines brightly in which Kite yells out, “Now, it is time to meet a monster that’s more savage than a supernova! One with power beyond any and all black holes that destroys all in its path! Come forth, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!” In a flash of light, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode with a mighty roar. Tai says, stunned, “Whoa!” TK says, with a nod and stunned look, “That’s a good way of putting it, Tai.” However, both Davis and Kari feel a ‘pulse’ in their hearts and Davis can feel a ‘pulse’ in his deck. Heartland says, with a smirk, “Isn’t that a familiar face? Your favorite monster and ace in the hole.” Kite says, “Get a good look because you and your new flunkies over there are going to realize soon that this is the last monster that you will ever see!” Allen says, with a sneer, “Oh, yeah!” Saya says, with a plain tone, “We’ll see!” Kite says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Yes, we will! However, first, I play XYZ Gift spell card! Since there are two XYZ Monsters on the field, I can remove two Overlay Units from my XYZ Monster and draw two new cards!” Illumiknight’s last two Overlay Units vanish and Kite draws two more cards from his deck. Kite looks at the cards, puts them into the main slot of his disk, and he says, “And both cards are going face-down on the field! Your move!” Current Score: Davis and Kite: 7200 Allen and Saya: 8000 Saya says, drawing a card, “My move!” Davis thinks in his mind, “What kind of deck does she have? Well, I don’t have to worry about ‘soul stealing’…expect that they have cards that were prepared for us managing to stop them playing the Seal of Orichalcos.” Saya says, putting one card on her disk, “I start off with my Cold Enchanter!” Cold Enchanter (1600/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Saya says, discarding one card, “Next, by using her ability, I discard one card and place one Ice Counter on your monsters!” Cold Enchanter waves her wand and Stardust Dragon roars out as a patch of frost appears on his chest in which Saya says, “Now, Cold Enchanter gains three hundred attack points for every Ice Counter on the field!” Cold Enchanter goes from 1600/1200 to 1900/1200 in which Saya says, drawing two cards, “I also have my own Card of Compensation which I just discarded and that means two new cards for me.” Saya says, putting one more card into the main slot of her disk, “And now, I play Double Summon! Now, I can summon one more monster this turn and I choose another Cold Enchanter!” A second Cold Enchanter (1600/1200-1900/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and gets boosted due to the Ice Counter on Stardust Dragon. Saya says, “And now, I Overlay both of my Cold Enchanters and build the Overlay Network!” Both Cold Enchanters turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while Saya puts the monster cards on the same Monster Card Zones of her disk before putting an XYZ Monster card from her Extra Deck on top of them in which Saya says, “Time for you to fill chills! I XYZ Summon Number 103: Ragnazero!” Out of the vortex, Number 103: Ragnazero (2400/1200) with two Water Overlay Units orbiting it appears on the field in attack mode. Davis and Kari feel a ‘pulse’ through them again and Davis thinks in his mind, confused, “What the heck is that?” Saya says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “I’ll end my turn with a couple of face-downs.” Davis says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “First, I start off with Pot of Greed! With it, I draw two new cards from my deck!” Davis draws two cards, puts another card into the main slot of his disk, and he says, “Then I play Silent Doom! With it, I revive a monster in defense mode! Welcome back, Red-Eyes!” Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) returns to the field in defense mode and Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Flamvell Guard!” Just then Flamvell Guard (100/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “And now, I tune Flamvell Guard with Red-Eyes!” Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Red-Eyes Black Dragon, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on his disk and Davis says, “Dragon of the shadow, emerge and bring the judgment of the reaper on all! Synchro Summon!” Davis says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “Emerge, Dark End Dragon!” Out of the light, Dark End Dragon (2600/2100) comes to the field in attack mode. Davis says, “Dark End Dragon’s ability activates! By lowering its attack and defense by five hundred, Dark End Dragon sends one monster on the field to the graveyard! Dark Evaporation!” As Dark End Dragon goes from 2600/2100 to 2100/1600, the ‘face’ on its chest opens its mouth and unleashes a dark mist towards Star Seraph Sentry in which Davis says, with a smirk, “And don’t think that any anti-destruction cards are going to work since it just sends your monster to the graveyard, it, technically, DOESN’T destroy your monster!” Allen says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Well, how about this? I play Rank-Up-Magic Quick Chaos!” Allen’s face-down card is revealed to be the Rank-Up-Magic Quick Chaos Quick-Play spell card and Allen says, “And now, I can rank up my Number monsters into a Chaos Number monster! Go, Chaos XYZ Evolution!” There are gasps of shock from Davis, Kari, and all of Davis’ and Kari’s friends/family as Star Seraph Sentry turns into a beam of light as it goes into a vortex in the ground while a dark aura surrounds Allen as the ‘insignia’ pictured on the spell card appears on his right backhand. Kite thinks in his mind, “That must that they have been infused with Don Thousand’s energy to allow them to harness the full power of his Chaos Numbers.” On the meanwhile, Allen puts another XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck over Star Seraph Sentry’s card on his disk. Allen yells out, with a sinister smirk, “Now, meet your doom! Chaos Number 102: Archfiend Seraph!” Out of the vortex, Number C102: Archfiend Seraph (2900/2400), a dark blue-violet and red version of Star Seraph Sentry and wielding a scythe with one Light Overlay Unit orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Allen says, with a sly smirk, “And since your monster lost its target, your ability is worthless!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “But this isn’t! I activate my Gift of the Martyr spell card! I send one monster to the grave and the other one gains attack equal to their attack points! I release Dark End Dragon to boost Stardust Dragon!” Dark End Dragon vanishes from the field in ‘pixels’ in which those ‘pixels’ go into Stardust Dragon in which it goes from 2500/2000 to 4600/2000 and Davis yells out, “Stardust, take out his Archfiend Seraph! Go, Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes a powerful burst of cosmic energy that heads for Archfiend Seraph and Archfiend Seraph creates a field that protects itself from the attack. Allen says, with a wicked smile, “Too bad! You should have read the rules! Only a Number monster can destroy a Number monster in battle!” Davis says, “Yeah, but you still take damage!” The cosmic energy heads for Allen and Saya says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I play Defense Draw!” Saya’s face-down card is revealed to be the Defense Draw trap card and Saya says, with a wicked smile, “Sorry, but this trap card negates the damage and I get a new card!” A shield protects Allen from the cosmic energy while Saya draws a new card from her deck. Kite says, “That was a whole lot of nothing.” Davis yells out, annoyed, “I don’t see you doing any better!” Davis says, with a snarl while putting one card into the main slot, “I place a card face-down and call it a turn!” Stardust Dragon then goes back from 4600/2000 to 2500/2000 since Gift of the Martyr’s effect has ended. Allen says, drawing a card, “You got that right!” Allen says, “I activate Archfiend Seraph’s ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, I can drain one monster on the field of its attack power and its abilities!” There are looks of shock from plenty of the others and Allen says, with an evil grin, “And I choose your Stardust Dragon!” Archfiend Seraph swings its scythe causing Stardust Dragon to roar as it is surrounded by a dark aura causing Stardust to go down from 2500/2000 to 0/2000!
Davis says, shocked, “Stardust!” Kite says, “If you think that’s bad, then you won’t handle what’s coming next!” Davis gives a confused look and Allen says, with a sinister smile, “That’s right. Thanks to Archfiend Seraph’s ability, since I just used his last Overlay Unit, you, both, suffer fifteen hundred points of damage!” Archfiend Seraph creates a slicing shockwave that slams into Davis and Kite causing them to grunt as they lose 1500 life-points. Saya says, with a wicked grin, “And it is my move! I activate Ragnazero’s ability! Once per turn, I can remove one of Ragnazero’s Overlay Units and target one monster on my opponent’s field that has more or less attack points than their original attack points and destroy them!” Ken says, shocked, “And since Stardust’s abilities have been negated, it can’t stop it!” Saya says, with an evil smile, “That’s right! And it is going to go now! Bye-bye!” Ragnazero absorbs one of its Overlay Units and it glows in which Stardust Dragon is frozen solid before it is destroyed. Davis says, stunned, “No!” Saya says, drawing a card, “When this ability is successful, I get one more card from my deck!” Allen says, with an evil grin, “And your next! Archfiend Seraph, direct attack!” Archfiend Seraph leaps in towards Davis and Kari says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!” Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate my Stardust Flash!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Stardust Flash trap card and Davis says, “And now, I can revive Stardust Dragon! Come on back, buddy!” Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) then returns to the field in attack mode. Allen says, with a dark stern look, “Doesn’t matter, Archfiend Seraph will crush him!” As Archfiend Seraph prepares to cut Stardust Dragon down, Davis says, pushing another button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong! I activate Celebration of Creation!” Davis’ other trap card is revealed to be the Celebration of Creation trap card and Davis says, “Since a monster was summoned by a spell or, in this case, trap card, this turn automatically ends!” Archfiend Seraph stops right in front of Stardust Dragon before returning to Allen’s side in which Allen has an annoyed dark snarl on his face. Current Scores: Davis and Kite: 5500 Allen and Saya: 8000 Kite says, “Not bad.” Kite says, drawing a card, “However, let me show how to pound these peons to the ground! My turn! I draw!” Saya says, “You talk big, but do you have the cards to back it up? I doubt it!” Kite says, “Then you are in for a whole galaxy of pain!” Kite says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate Eternal Galaxy!” Kite’s face-down card is revealed to be the Eternal Galaxy trap card and Kite says, “When I have a Photon or Galaxy monster on my field, I can target one XYZ Monster on my field and use it to bring out a Photon or Galaxy XYZ monster that’s four ranks higher! Since Galaxy-Eyes is on my field, I use Illumiknight! I use it to rebuild the Overlay Network! Go, Rank-Up XYZ Evolution!” Illumiknight turns into a beam of light that goes into a vortex in the ground that shoots off a beam into the sky while Kite’s puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of Illumiknight’s card on his disk. Soon after, a dark violet spear appears in Kite’s hands in which he yells out, “Prepare to meet a force that you have never seen before! A dragon so mighty that it makes whole galaxy shakes from its roar! I XYZ Summon Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!” Out of the light in the sky, Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (4500/3000), with one Light Overlay Unit orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Plenty of the others are shocked and Kotone says, shocked, “Oh my!” Kazuto says, with a nod, “That’s one way of putting it, Kotone.” Kite says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Overlay Regan! This card becomes an Overlay Unit to any XYZ Monster on the field and I choose Archfiend Seraph!” Just then a new Light Overlay Unit appears around Archfiend Seraph. Davis asks, confused, “Huh?’ Allen asks, also confused, “Why would you do that?” Kite says, “It’s called strategy genius! Let me show you! I activate Neo Galaxy-Eyes’ ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, all of your XYZ monsters lose their Overlay Units!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes absorbs its Overlay Unit in which it then howls as it absorbs Ragnazero’s and Archfiend Seraph’s Overlay Units in which Kite says, “My Neo Galaxy-Eyes then gains five hundred attack points for each Overlay Unit that you lose and it can attack equal to the number of Overlay Units that it has taken from your XYZ monsters!” There are gasps from everyone, minus Heartland, and TK says, “That means that his monster gain one grand in attack points and he can attack twice this turn!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon then roars out as it goes from 4500/3000 to 5500/3000. Kite yells out, “My Neo Galaxy-Eyes can’t destroy your monsters, but it really put a dent in your life-points! Now, feel his fury! Ultimate Photon Stream of Destruction!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes unleashes his attack from its triple heads that slam into Ragnazero creating a massive shockwave that slams into Allen and Saya causing them to scream out as they are sent flying as they lose 3100 life-points. Matt says, with a winch, “Ouch.” As Allen and Saya struggle to get back on their feet, Kite yells out, “If I were you, I would stay down since Neo Galaxy-Eyes strikes again!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes attacks Ragnazero, again, and while she protects herself from being destroyed, the shockwave created from when Neo Galaxy-Eyes’ hits her causes Allen and Saya to get sent flying again in which they slam into the ground, hard, as they lose another 3100 life-points. Yolei says, nervously, “Brutal.” Kite says, “Don’t tell me that you feel sorry for them? Those that serve people like Heartland don’t deserve any pity. This isn’t a fun tournament where you play for fun. This is a battle where there is much on the line, more than yourself, and you have to be hard and tough since too many lives depend on your victory.” Heartland says, with a smirk, “Says you, Kite.” Allen and Saya, whose forms are smoking, slowly get to their feet and Saya says, with a grunt, “You are…going to pay for that.” Saya says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I activate my Orichalcos Life Offering trap!” Saya’s face-down card is a trap card with a picture of an alter with the insignia of the Orichalcos on it in which Saya says, “Since we took damage from battle, I can add one Orichalcos card and one additional card for every fifteen hundred points that we took.” Saya gets one card from her deck and she then draws four more cards from her deck. Asuna says, worriedly, “Oh no.” Kazuto says, “I know, Asuna. That’s not good.” Heartland gives a sinister smirk as he heads away from the duel while our heroes and heroines, human and Digimon get, their distance away. Kite says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I end my turn with one card face-down.” Current Scores: Davis and Kite: 5500 Allen and Saya: 1800 Saya says, drawing a card, “My turn! My move!” Saya says, putting one card into the main slot, “And now, for your doom! I activate I activate my Orichalcos Curse Seal continuous spell card! This card can only be activated when the Seal of Orichalcos is in the graveyard! It acts exactly as the Seal of Orichalcos!” A burst of eerie green comes from Saya’s disk and she and Allen roars out as the Seal of Orichalcos appears on the field in which it surrounds all four duelists, entrapping them, while Allen and Saya gains the insignia of the Orichalcos on his forehead with his eyes gaining a red glow. Kite says, “I don’t know what that is, but I’m sure that it isn’t good.” Davis says, plainly, “No kidding.” Saya says, with an evil smile, “As long as the Seal of Orichalcos remains in my graveyard, this card remains active and you can’t negate or destroy it with any effects! Since this card acts as the Seal of Orichalcos, our monsters gain a power boost!” Both Archfiend Seraph and Ragnazero become infused with the power of Orichalcos causing them to gain the insignia of Orichalcos on their foreheads with red tints in their eyes with Archfiend Seraph going from 2900/2400 to 3400/2400 and Ragnazero goes from 2400/1200 to 2900/1200. Saya says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “However, I’m not done! I activate Rank-Up-Magic: Barian’s Force! Now, I rank up one Number monster on my field into a Chaos Number! I rebuild the Overlay Network with Ragnazero! Go, Chaos XYZ Evolution!” Ragnazero then turns into a beam of light that goes into a vortex in the ground while the ‘insignia’ on the Barian’s Force’s picture appears on her right backhand as she puts an XYZ Monster card from her Extra Deck over Ragnazero’s card on her disk. Saya yells out, “It is time for you to meet your end! Awaken, Chaos Number One Hundred and Three: Ragnafinity!” Out of the vortex Number C103: Ragnafinity (2800/2400-3300/2400), a ‘darker’, black and violet colored, and scythe wielding version of Ragnazero with one Water Overlay Unit, appears on the field in attack mode and becomes infused with the power of the Orichalcos. Davis and Kari ‘flinch’ from that and Kotone says, “That monster is…unnerving.” Mimi says, with a nod of agreement, “Yeah.” Saya says, putting one more card into the main slot of her disk, “And you are going to find out soon enough! I activate Megamorph! This equip spell will double the power of the equipped monster since our life-points are less than yours! And I equip it to your Neo Galaxy-Eyes!” Neo Galaxy-Eyes roars out as it glows as it goes from 4500/3000 to 9000/3000. Davis asks, confused, “Why do that?” Kite responds, “To make sure that we lose.” Saya says, with an evil grin, “That’s right. I activate Ragnafinity’s ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, I can target one monster that you control whose has attack points that are higher or lower than their original attack points and you suffer damage equal to the difference! That monster is also banished!” Many of the others gasp in shock and Gatomon says, seriously, “That’s why she increased the power of their monsters! In order to inflict more damage to them!” Ragnafinity absorbs its Overlay Unit and Saya says, with an evil smile, “And since it is banishing the monster and not destroying it, Stardust’s ability is worthless!” Ragnafinity then creates a shockwave that cuts down Neo Galaxy-Eyes causing it to shatter into pieces in which Davis and Kite yelp out as the shockwave slams into them causing them to skid back as they lose 4500 life-points. Kari asks, worriedly, “Dai-kun, are you okay?” Saya says, “No, your boyfriend isn’t okay. And he won’t be once this duel ends! Ragnafinity, destroy Stardust Dragon now!” Ragnafinity charges in to attack and Izzy says, worriedly, “If this attack hits, they’re finished!” Kite says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate my Shift trap card!” Kite’s face-down card is the Shift trap card and Kite says, “And now, I can redirect your attack to any monster on the field and I choose Galaxy-Eyes!” Galaxy-Eyes leaps in-between Stardust and Ragnafinity in which Kite says, “And now, Galaxy-Eyes’ ability activates and both of our monsters are banished!” Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and Ragnafinity glow as they are engulfed in light and vanish from the field in which Kite says, “And when the battle ends, both of our monsters return to our respective sides of the field!” Just then Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (3000/2500) returns to Kite’s field and Number C103: Ragnafinity (2800/2400-3300/2400), returns to Saya’s field, both monsters in attack mode. Davis says, with a smile, “Nice man!” Kite responds, “Just make sure that you make this turn count!” Saya says, with a dark snarl while putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I place one card face-down and end my turn! You won’t be able to escape forever!” Current Score: Davis and Kite: 1000 Allen and Saya: 1800 Davis says, drawing a card, “We won’t need to escape since I’m ending this right now!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Card of Sanctity! All four of us must draw from our decks until we have six cards in our hands!” All four duelists draw from their decks until they have half-a-dozen cards in each of their respective hands in which Davis thinks in his mind, “What to do now?” Just then an image forms in his mind and he says, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Hieratic Seal of Supremacy! Now, I can summon one Hieratic monster from my hand to the field! And I choose Hieratic Dragon of Eset!” Davis puts one card on his disk and Hieratic Dragon of Eset (1900/1200), a violet colored and golden armored dragon, appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting another card on his disk, “And I play a second Hieratic Seal of Supremacy to bring out another Eset!” Davis puts another card on his disk and another Hieratic Dragon of Eset (1900/1200) appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting yet another card on his disk, “And then I Normal Summon without releasing another monster due to his ability!” A third Hieratic Dragon of Eset (1900/1200-1000/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “However, since I summoned him this way, his original attack points become only one thousand! However, he doesn’t need since I Overlay all three of Eset and build the Overlay Network!” All three Eset then become lights that goes into the ground while all three monsters’ cards glow as they go onto the same Monster Card Zone as a light comes from Davis’ Extra Deck. Heartland asks, confused, “What the?” A beam of light comes from Davis’ Extra Deck, goes onto Davis’ disk, forming a new XYZ Monster card that goes over the cards of Davis’ three Eset monsters, and Davis shouts out, “You like those Number cards?! Here is one of my own: Number Five: Doom Chimera Dragon!” Kite and Heartland say in unison, shocked, “What?!” Out of the vortex, Number 5: Doom Chimera Dragon (0/0), dark violet and red dragon with bone-like appendages and three Dark Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Heartland asks, confused, “How is this possible?!” Yolei says, “Here we go again!” Kite overhears Yolei’s ‘statement’ and he thinks in his mind, “This shouldn’t be possible! We’ve collected all of the Numbers and all of Astral’s memories have been returned! There shouldn’t be any Numbers in this world than Don Thousand’s Numbers given the Barian Emperors unless…!!” Davis shouts out, “Doom Chimera Dragon gains one thousand attack points for every Overlay Unit that it has!” Doom Chimera Dragon then goes from 0/0 to 3000/0 due to its ability! Allen says, with a dark sneer, “Yeah, so what? Your monster doesn’t have enough power to beat our monsters!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “We’ll see! First, I activate my Psychic Cyclone spell card! One face-down card on your field is destroyed and if I guess that if it is a spell or trap card, correctly, I get to draw another card! However, it doesn’t take a genius to say that face-down is one word: Trap!” A cyclone appears, sweeps up Saya’s face-down, revealing it to be a trap card known as Orichalcos Binder, and Davis says, drawing a card, “And what do you know? I get a new card!” Davis says, putting the card into the main slot of his disk, “I knew that my deck wouldn’t let me down! I activate Overlay Regan and make it into an Overlay Unit for Doom Chimera!” A fourth Dark Overlay Unit appears around Doom Chimera and Allen says, stunned, “Oh no!” Davis says, seriously, “That’s right! Doom Chimera gains one thousand attack points for every Overlay Unit that it has!” Doom Chimera Dragon then goes from 3000/0 to 4000/0 and Davis says, “And he also can attack all of your monsters!” Allen and Saya gasp in shock and Davis yells out, “Doom Chimera, destroy his Archfiend Seraph!” Doom Chimera fires a darkness beam of energy from his mouth that destroys Archfiend Seraph causing Allen and Saya to yelp as they are hit by the shockwave causing them to lose 600 life-points in which Davis says, “And now, Ragnafinity!” Doom Chimera then destroys Ragnafinity causing Allen and Saya to yelp as they are hit by that shockwave from that monster’s destruction in which they lose 700 more life-points. Davis yells out, “And now, end this duel, Stardust! Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes its full power and Allen and Saya scream out as they are hit causing them to lose 2500 life-points as well as the duel. Final Score: Davis and Kite: 1000 Allen and Saya: 0 With the end of the duel, the final Real Solid Vision ‘projections’ vanish and Davis falls to one knee while Allen and Saya collapse as the seal surrounds the two of them with their souls being sealed away into the Orichalcos itself. Kari says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!” Immediately, Davis’ girlfriend and friends run over to our Digidestined of Miracles and Life. Veemon and Kari get to him first and Veemon asks, “Are you okay, Davis?’ Davis responds, with a nod, “I’m okay, buddy. Just a bit…winded.” Heartland says, shocked, “I can’t believe this! Cheater! Where did you get that card? I call a cheat!” Kite responds, “That’s funny coming from you, Heartland. You and your goons cheated in our duels with tricks that cut our life-points in half before the duel even started. So, you are in no position to make that call, Heartland.” Heartland glares at Kite and Kite tells him, “I have an idea on what you are here for and while I don’t know what can of alliances you have made, but I can assure that there is only oblivion waiting for you!” Heartland says, with a sneer, “We’ll see, Kite!” Heartland then teleport away and the force-field, which has been weakened in strength by the duel, collapses in which Kite looks at the ‘comatose’ Allen and Saya. Kite thinks in his mind, as he looks at them, “It looks like these two won’t be getting up anytime soon. I’ll take care of business first. Hopefully, what my father and Astral created for me will work.” Kite quickly takes out a strange dueling deck holder and he holds out his right hand causing it to glow in which dark glows come from the decks of Allen and Saya where these ‘glows’ take the forms of Number 102: Star Seraph Sentry (2500/2000), Number C102: Archfiend Seraph (2900/2400), Number 103: Ragnazero (2400/1200), and Number C103: Ragnafinity (2800/2400) XYZ Monster cards. The mysterious deck holder opens up, the cards ‘shoot’ into the deck holder, and the deck holder closes afterwards. Kite looks at the deck holder and he thinks in his mind, “Good. The seal is holding. Two of these Numbers and their Chaos Forms down and five more to go. And with that, Don Thousand’s power will be gone for good.” Yolei’s voice booms, “Hey, what was that all about?!” Kite turns to the source of Yolei’s voice to see our group looking at him. Kite gives a curious quirk to the Digimon and he says, “Nothing that you need to know about.” Tai says, with a serious tone, “Guess again, pal! It looks like you and that guy know each other and if he is your enemy, he has joined up with our enemies, so, no damn kidding that it is our problem and who we need to know about.” Matt says, nodding his head in agreement, “Tai is right, pal!” Kite says, “All you need to know is that his name is Heartland and that he is big trouble.” Kite then starts to walk off and Asuna says, “Wait! Shouldn’t we work together? Our enemies have joined forces after all.” Kite says, “I work alone.” Kite walks off and Yolei shouts out, annoyed, “Hey!” Ken tells Yolei, “Easy, Yolei.” Yolei looks at Ken and TK says, “Yeah. He must be the ‘lone wolf’ type.” Davis says, “Something tells me that since his enemy is fighting with our enemies, we’re going to be seeing him again.” Kazuto says, “Most likely, you are right on the money, Davis.” Kotone asks, “Who is this ‘Kite’ and what is his story?” Izzy says, “If you forgive the pun, Kotone, it is a story for another day.” As our heroes and heroines watch Kite take his leave of them, Kite can’t help to think about Davis and the Number card that he just used in the duel. May 24, 2026, Tokyo, Akihabara Back in Akihabara, we find Sakura, Suguha, and her two Digimon partners about to enter a building in a back alleyway. Agumon (Suguha) says, “This place looks familiar.” Suguha responds, “It should, Agumon. This place is an underground dueling circuit.” Sakura tells Suguha, “I guess you were here as part of Neo Paradius, huh?” Suguha doesn’t respond and Sakura says, with a smile, “Well, it isn’t anymore. We had it busted about a month ago.” Suguha says, “I have a feeling that you didn’t do it out of the goodness of your hearts.” Sakura says, with a smile, “You would think so and you may have a point. We bought the place for our personal use.” Suguha asks, curiously, “Personal usage?” Sakura says, with a smile, “You’ll see.” Sakura then goes to a panel in which she opens it up to reveal a fingerprint scanner and lock with a number pad among other things where Sakura keys in a code before presenting her finger in which she then has her eye scanned by a high-tech retinal scanner before they hear a series of locks unlocking. Lunamon says, amazed, “Wow.” Suguha says, with a nod, “A fingerprint scanner and an eyeball scanner.” Sakura says, with a smile, “It is actually called a ‘retinal scanner’ since that’s the part of the eye that it is scanning.” Suguha says, with a plain tone and serious expression, “A lot of security for a ‘personal room’.” Sakura says, with a smile, “You have no idea.” The door opens in which Sakura says, with a grin, “Come on in.” Sakura heads inside in which Suguha and her two Digimon partners follow them in which the door closes and locks behind them. Out of the ‘shadows’, Shion, Keiko, Rika, and Hiyori come out and head over to the door. Rika says, annoyed, “That’s just great.” Shion says, with a nod, “Yes, Rika. If we only had to get her fingerprints, it wouldn’t be a problem, but retinal scanner will be practically impossible to break.” Keiko asks, curiously and a bit nervously, “How could we get in if we had Sakura-san’s fingerprints?” Rika tells Keiko, with a grin, “Haven’t you seen any of those secret agent stuff, Keiko? They have tons of ways of getting through the things!” Hiyori says, nervously, “I’m not sure those movies and televisions shows apply to real life, Rika.” Shion says, plainly, “Actually, I saw an episode of an American shown known as ‘MythBusters’ and they found several different ways of breaking through fingerprint lock.” Keiko asks, curiously, “Really, Shion?” Shion says, with a plain tone, “And if minds like Izzy and Ami on our side, it shouldn’t be so hard to replicate their work.” Shion says, “However, the retinal scanner is the real problem. It is encoded with the retina of Sakura and most likely those ‘allied’ with her including Naruto-san and retina are varied as fingerprints and DNA, but the problem is, you can’t make a copy of a person’s retina, which is a part of their eye, for obvious reasons.” Hiyori asks, “So, what do we do now?” Rika says, with a sigh, “All we can do is head back to the others and tell them what happened.” The other girls nod their heads in agreement, but what they didn’t know is that some distance away, Haruka, is watching them from a rooftop using a pair of binoculars with high-tech listening devices. Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Sorry, cuties, but you aren’t going anywhere.” Haruka takes out a high-tech hand-held transceiver in which she says, “Girls, we have a group of peeping tops at the ‘longue’. Can you go and get them for trespassing?” A female voice responds, “Got it! Thanks for the heads up, Haruka!” Haruka replies, “Thank you, Homura. Remember, these are Suguha-san’s friends, so, don’t ‘rough them up’ too much especially the cute brown haired girl in pigtails. She is just adorable.” The female voice over the transceiver says, annoyed, “Seriously? Whatever.” Haruka deactivates her transceiver and gives a wide smirk. May 24, 2026, Neo Paradius headquarters Within Neo Paradius headquarters, Heartland is kneeling in front of Yuuko, who is giving off a dark aura. Yuuko says, with a dark plain tone, “Leave.” Heartland says, nervously, “Y-Yes, Lady Yuuko.” Heartland gives a silent ‘yelp’ as he heads away while Kana walks into the room. When Heartland is gone, Kana asks, curiously, “Are you really that angry?” Yuuko’s ‘dark aura’ dies down until it is gone and Yuuko replies, plainly, “Not at all. However, I want him to think that way, so, he doesn’t get any ideas.” Kana says, “I see. You feel that he has his own ‘ambitions’ for being here.” Yuuko says, “You would be a fool not to ‘sense’ that.” Kana asks, “Does his enemy from his world complicate matters?” Yuuko says, “Not at all. In fact, one way or another, he will serve my plans well.” Kana asks, curiously, “Really?” Yuuko tells Kana, “I need you to go to Hiroshima.” Kana asks, curiously, “Why there?” Yuuko replies, “Sailor Moon’s younger brother and childhood friend are getting too close to that base.” Kana says, “I see.” Kana then walks away and when she is out of sight, Yuuko walks over to the comatose forms of Tea and Serenity, who no longer have the Full-Dive devices detached from them. Yuuko says, “It is time to put them in situation that they can’t truly win. Their despair shall serve to bring me victory.” End of Chapter 12 Uh oh! Trouble is on the horizon! A bit of a warning, everyone. We might be going into a bit of ‘dark territory’ in the upcoming chapters. Fair warning, but no more ‘spoilers’ than that, folks. Anyway, read and review to tell me what you think, but please, no flames! Later and best wishes, Crossover Fans!
