As we get into this next chapter, I’m going to have to say that you are going to prepared for quite few surprises. I’m might be sounding a bit ‘ahead’ of myself, but I think that in one part of chapter is going to leave you surprised. However, I might think that it will lead to some ‘criticism’ after this chapter is done, of which, I will address at the end of the chapter. For now, it is time to ‘dive in’, no pun intended, to the story and this chapter. Sailor Moon Online II: SAO Shippuden

 

(Sword Art Online II music ‘Courage’ starts)

 

As the intro starts, we see images of swords go by and reflected on the blades of the swords are images of Suguha and Leafa with the final reflection from the blades of the sword are Rika, Lisbeth, SAO and ALO forms, Keiko, Silica, SAO and ALO forms, Shion, Sinon, GGO and ALO forms, Kotone, Philia, SAO/SAW and ALO forms, Hiyori, Kuro, and Lux.

 

The next shows Princess Selene then turning into a toddler Suguha Kirigaya, who then ‘ages’ into a 13-year-old Suguha Kirigaya, warping into Suguha Kirigaya of 15-16 years of age, then into Eternal Sailor Celestial, and finally, into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial. As Valkyrie Sailor Celestial turns to the skies to see some unseen sight, Rika, Keiko, Shion/Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori appear behind her.

 

Just then it turns into images of Ancient Egypt of Atem’s time, Atlantis, the original Domino City, Neo Domino City, and ALO before we see Suguha Kirigaya looking at a ‘shooting star’ before she transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial before facing an unknown figure that uses the Seal of Orichalcos that surrounds her and her enemy.

 

Next, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze are seen in two separate images which change where Suguha, then Leafa, and finally, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial are using their kendo/sword techniques. Just then Rika/Lisbeth, Keiko/Silica, Shion/Sinon/Sailor Orion, Kotone/Philia, and Hiyori/Lux are seen before we see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, using her sword techniques, is joined by Naruto, using his famous Shadow Clones and Rasengan, in this ‘fight demonstration’.

 

Then we find Valkyrie Sailor Moon walking slowly forward until she is face to face with Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them stare at each other before Valkyrie Sailor Celestial brings out Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000) with Valkyrie Sailor Moon brings out Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon (2500/2000) and Clearwing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) in which they go into an epic clash with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Valkyrie Sailor Celestial clashing blades themselves.

 

The scene changes to Davis and Kazuto, looking a lot like his SAO avatar of Kirito, facing off against Naruto with Naruto bring out Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000) and Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon (3000/2500) while Kazuto brings out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity (4000/3500) and Davis brings out Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500) along with the other Signer and Duel Dragons in which they launch into an epic titanic fight.

 

Just then we see Sailor Celestial, Sailor Orion, Lisbeth, Silica, Philia, and Lux engaged by a legion of opponents including monsters from ALO and Duel Monsters which they fight and defeat, but then a mysterious figure brings out the Divine Serpent used by Dartz, but Sailor Celestial, Lisbeth, and Silica bring out the three Legendary Dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, and they transform into their true forms: The Legendary Knights of Atlantis where they defeat the Divine Serpent.

 

Naruto and Sailor Celestial are back to back surrounded by Sakura, Hinata, Rika, Keiko, Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori as a powerful circle brings for the three Aesir, Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as the three Egyptian God Monsters: Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in which all of them unleash an incredible attack creating a massive bright light. From that light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) emerges along with the Crimson Dragon.

 

The scene then switches to images of Yugi Moto, Pharaoh Atem, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Dartz, and more before switching to our heroes and heroines with images of Neo Domino City, Aincrad/SAO, ALO, the Elemental Countries including the Leaf Village, and more as images of Suguha and Naruto from childhood into their current years are seen before Suguha turns into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them look into the distance.

 

Finally, we have different scenes where we see Naruto training and mastering the Rasengan, Leafa flying through the virtual skies of ALO, Serena becoming Sailor Moon for the first time, and leading to a scene with all of our heroes and heroines, joined by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, racing towards some kind of unknown destination in which it finally stop at all of them assembled together flanked by Earth, Atlantis, and the Leaf Village in the background along with the Legendary Dragons/Knights, the Signer and Duel Dragons, the Aesir, and Egyptian God Monsters.

Arc III: Chapter 15: Rage of the Dark Gods and Immortals

 

May 25, 2026, Tokyo, Kirigaya residence

 

Inside of Suguha’s room within the Kirigaya household, Suguha is with her two Digimon partners looking at what looks like a device creating a holographic projection of Yugo.

 

Suguha asks Yugo, “Are you okay, Yugo?”

 

Yugo responds, “I’m okay, Suguha-san.”

 

Lunamon says, “I’m amazed Luke and Datamon were able to come up with this.”

 

Suguha says, “He is bright and he has a living super-computer as a Digimon partner.”

 

Agumon (Suguha) says, with a nod, “Yeah.”

 

Yugo says, “I really hope that I can help.”

 

Suguha tells Yugo, “I’m sure that you will, Yugo. You are her brother. You understand her.”

 

Just then Kazuto’s voice calls out, “Don’t be so sure, Sugu.” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Kazuto at the door.

 

Suguha asks, annoyed, “Geez, big brother, don’t you know how to knock?”

 

Kazuto says, with a smile, “Pretty hard due to a younger sister that seems to vanish like Batman.”

 

Suguha tells Kazuto, “Pot meet kettle. You are one to talk ‘Black Swordsman’.”

 

Kazuto says, with a winch, “Ouch!”

 

Yugo tells Kazuto, “It is nice to see you, again.”

 

Kazuto tells Yugo, a bit nervously, “Wish that I could say the same, Yugo.”

 

Yugo says, “I don’t blame you. I met plenty of those that…lost after me and they had stories about ‘blanking out’ the bad memories of losing people.”

 

Kazuto says, “True, but it doesn’t excuse…”

 

Yugo tells Kazuto, “Kirito…Kazuto-san, please don’t.”

 

Kazuto says, with a sigh, “I don’t want to bring down yours’ and Sugu’s hopes, but your sister has already done some pretty horrible things.”

 

Yugo says, solemnly, “Yes, I heard.” Yugo says, “However, if I talk to my sister, I’m sure that she could see reason.”

 

Kazuto says, “Maybe. However, her need for revenge has consumed her.” Kazuto says, looking at Suguha, “And remember, Sugu, she willing joined Neo Paradius, while your mind was corrupted by their evil magic.”

 

Suguha says, with a plain tone, “Even so, I may the choice of giving into my fear and I have to bear the consequences for my actions, Kazuto.”

 

Kazuto thinks in his mind, with a sigh, “Sugu…”

 

Suguha asks, plainly, “So, what about the information?”

 

Kazuto says, with a shrug, “All it checks out. In fact, it checks out better than anything.”

 

Suguha says, “That’s good to know.” Suguha then goes down onto her bed and lies down in which she puts her Amusphere around her head.

 

Kazuto asks Suguha, “Going to meet him?”

 

Suguha says, with a nod, “Yeah, I agreed.” Suguha tells Kazuto, “He isn’t a bad guy, big brother.”

 

Kazuto says, shaking his head, “No, he isn’t.”

 

Yugo says, “I’m still amazed that you met the real Naruto Uzumaki.”

 

Suguha tells Yugo, with a smile, “I’m not surprised that you are so shocked, Yugo. I was really shocked, too.”

 

Kazuto retorts, “What about us?”

 

Suguha says, “Anyway, I’ll see you later, big brother.” Suguha lies down carefully and he says, closing her eyes, “Link start!” With those words, Suguha’s form becomes perfectly limp as she Full-Dives into ALO in which Kazuto then walks away in which the Digimon look at each other, knowing what Kazuto is going to do.

 

May 25, 2026, ALO, New Aincrad

 

Inside of the virtual world of ALO, we find ourselves with New Aincrad, ALO’s version of the infamous floating castle from SAO, where we find Leafa inside of the Town of Beginnings, the main town of the first floor of this ‘rebooted’ version of SAO’s infamous floating castle where she is inside of Blackiron Palace looking at the Monument of Swordsman, a place where those that defeat the floor boss of New Aincrad have their names engraved, in which Leafa is looking at one name in particular.

 

Leafa thinks in her mind, plainly, “Yuuki…it is this world where you shined so brightly. Hopefully, I will make sure that your shrine isn’t defiled.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice says, “Heard that she was really something.” Leafa yelps and she turns to the source of the voice to see none other than Menma, now revealed to be Naruto’s ALO avatar, in which he asks, with a classic smile, “What’s up?”

 

Leafa tells Menma, “You should know.”

 

Menma tells Leafa, “Anyway, you want to go for a walk.”

 

Leafa says, with a sigh, “Okay.”

 

Menma and Leafa then walk out of Blackiron Palace and start to walk around in which Menma says, “I’ve been exploring this place as best as I can and I have to say that it is awesome.”

 

Leafa says, with a nod, “Yes, it is.”

 

Menma tells Leafa, “I guess that our information panned out.”

 

Leafa says, “Better than expected.”

 

Menma says, “That’s good.”

Leafa tells Menma, “N-I mean, Menma, you are really going to leave your world after you save it.”

 

Menma tells Leafa, with a plain tone, “It is crazy if you are a fan of the stuff based on my world and believe me, I’m not surprised that I have such a fan base, believe it!”

 

Leafa says, with a grin, “You are as humble as ever.”

 

Menma gives his classic grin and he says, with a sigh, “But despite it being made for teenagers, your depiction of my story, through very good, is pretty watered.”

 

Leafa asks, “The fanfiction versions of your backstory are more accurate then?”

Menma says, “Well, not the EXTREME ‘dark’ versions, but yeah. It is like Sakura-chan explained to me. She said that boys of the same age as girls usually tend to be taller than girls unless there was a reason. She told me that I wasn’t getting the right foods. Trust me, I LOVE ramen, but being with Suzume-sensei and the others, I realize that Yomi-chan and I were a lot a like and we weren’t getting the stuff to help our bodies and our brains. To be honest, ramen from Old Man Tenchi and Ayame, who is like a big sister to me, was the only good food that I could get. Sakura-chan told me that if I gotten the right ‘good foods’, I would have been taller than her back when we started as Genin.”

 

Leafa says, with a sigh, “That’s an obvious fact.”

 

Menma says, “And even if those people find out my family and see that Kurama and I are two separate beings, they are going to be sorry only to suck up to me. They’re not going to be truly sorry. Sakura-chan really drilled it into my brain.”

 

Leafa asks, with a nod, “She did?”

 

Menma says, “And helped me get into my head about Hinata-chan and her feelings. I found out why. Even through I was a little brat, I remember what happened that got Hinata-chan to like me so much. Don’t get me wrong! I don’t do it because my fiction tells me to or sorry for not noticing it sooner. I got to know Hinata-chan and…we clicked which is one of the things that your ‘stuff’ about me and my world got right.”

 

Leafa says, with a smile, “Personally, I feel that you, two, go together.”

 

Menma says, with a plain tone, “Well, Leafa-chan, I said that I would be going back. It is because while I know that there are fucking asses like those in my ‘home’, but there are tons of good people too. Inari, his mom, Old Man Tazuna, Koyuki, Haruna, Toki, Shion, and so many others. They are people that deserve peace…not the slavery that Obito-teme and Madara-teme are trying to put on them as well as Kaguya-teme. Now that I know what’s up, I know what I need to do to stop them right in their tracks.”

 

Leafa asks, “How do you plan to do that?”

 

Menma tells Leafa, “Sorry, Leafa-chan, but you should know about us, shinobi, by now.”

 

Leafa says, with a kind smile, “Yes, I should.” Leafa asks Menma, “But why…?”

 

Menma tells Leafa, “You already know, Leafa-chan. Sure, there will be plenty of people that will be sad that I left, but I’m sure that they will understand. I may not be Hokage as I do in your fiction, but I’m sure that it isn’t ‘roses and cherries’ as it looks in your fiction. I don’t think I’ll be as ‘powerful’ in fiction. Those old buzzards in the civilian council are already getting hammers when Granny Tsunade took charge. In my world, when she took the position, Granny Tsunade fought back and took a significant amount of power that those buzzards stole from the Hokage on the day of my birth. Once they find out that I’m the Fourth Hokage’s son, those old buzzards are going into panic rather than being glad because they know that with my influence, they are finished. They are going to want a Hokage that can’t take away that they have. Sakura-chan said that there was saying: ‘Absolute power absolutely corrupts’.”

 

Leafa says, with a sigh, “Isn’t that the truth? That truly applies in all sorts of ways…in the ‘real’, digital, and virtual worlds.”

 

Menma says, with a nod, “So I hear.” Menma tells Leafa, “Hinata-chan and Sakura-chan feel the same way and you realize why Hinata-chan would want to start a new life.”

 

Leafa says, “Her clan stripping of her right to be heir and her feelings towards the Cage Bird seal.”

 

Menma says, with a nod, “Yep, believe it. They wanted her to be strong, but as she is gaining strength, they are worried that she would be ‘too strong’. It is a real piss-off. They want her to be strong, but ‘weak’ enough to be a pawn. What a bunch of hypocritical jerks. Hinata-chan doesn’t want to abandon her clan, but she knows that her clan won’t allow her to ‘ascend to the throne’ for obvious reasons. It isn’t just Hinata-chan’s love for me that she wants to stay here with me.”

 

Leafa gives a nod of understanding and Leafa asks, curiously, “And Sakura?”

 

Menma says, a bit nervously, “I really can’t explain. She looked over all your world’s stuff that’s based on our world. Anime, manga, and the like. Something about all that ‘broke’ her feelings for the Teme.”

 

Leafa asks, surprised, “Broke her feelings for Sasuke?”

 

Menma says, “I’m not surprised that you are so shocked, Leafa-chan. Based on what you have seen, you would think that Sakura would pine over the Teme no matter what. To be honest, I really don’t know how to explain it. Sakura-chan just looked over all the fiction based on our world, past and present, and somehow, it just got rid of her feelings for Sasuke-teme. Maybe not completely, but she doesn’t call him ‘Sasuke-kun’ anymore.” Leafa’s eyes widen and Menma says, “When I asked her about it, she told: ‘I’m not going to let a piece of fiction choose my future’. Sakura-chan really didn’t exactly state her reasons, but I have a good idea.”

 

Leafa says, plainly, “She does seem different and not just in the slight change in looks.”

 

Menma says, “Yeah.” Menma says, with a smile, “Anyway, let’s not talk about IRL anymore. It is such a ‘no-no’ here!”

 

Leafa tells Menma, “You have got our terminology down.”

 

Menma says, excitedly, “What can I say? I really love these places, believe it!”

 

Leafa says, with a sigh, “I can’t believe that I didn’t figure it out before.” Leafa asks, “So, you really like VRMMOs?”

 

Menma says, excitedly, “You know it! I mean, you can actually fly here! What’s not to love? These places are awesome!”

 

Leafa says, with a smile, “I guess that you are a ‘VRMMO junkie’.”

 

Menma says, with a blush of embarrassment, “Hey!”

 

Leafa tells Menma, with a smile, “Well, I can understand why.” Leafa says, looking around, “This world is beautiful.” Leafa says, with a sigh, “Too bad that it was nearly destroyed.”

 

Menma says, with a plain tone, “Yeah, if that ass wasn’t dead already, I would put my Rasengan to his face, believe it!” Leafa can’t help to smile at this and Menma says, with a smile, “But that was then and that jerk dead and gone and VRMMOs are thriving.”

 

Leafa says, “Yeah…”

 

Menma tells Leafa, “Anyway, let’s go to Rovia on the fourth floor.”

 

Leafa asks, surprised, “Huh?”

 

Menma says, “This isn’t a pickup line, but I thought that Rovia place with all of those canals and boats would be pretty calming for a nice talk, believe it.”

 

Leafa looks at Menma and she then says, with a kind smile, “Sure.” Leafa and Menma then head off to the teleportation gates, but what they didn’t know is that they are being followed by none other than Kirito, Asuna, and Yui.

 

Asuna asks Kirito, nervously, “Kirito-kun, are you sure about this?”

 

Yui says, “Leafa-chan can handle herself.”

 

Kirito says, “I know, but remember, this isn’t the fiction that we know.”

 

Yui says, “Based on what you have explained, Menma-san doesn’t seem too off from what’s in the anime and manga that we have based on his world.”

 

Kirito says, “True, but he isn’t the ‘most unpredictable ninja’ for nothing, Yui. Plus, like it is told in the fanfiction, the story of his childhood in the anime and manga is ‘watered down’ to make it acceptable for teenage watchers. It is a common fact for mature Naruto fans.”

 

Asuna asks, curiously, “Really?”

 

Kirito says, with a sigh, “Unfortunately, it is a fact. Now that he has learned about his heritage in an unusual way, we can’t be so sure that he is like the Naruto that we see in the fiction.”

 

Asuna says, “If you say so, Kirito-kun.”

 

Kirito asks Asuna, curiously, “Asuna?”

 

Asuna gives a smirk and she says, with a sly tone, “I think that your ‘brotherly instincts’ are going on overdrive.”

 

Kirito asks, surprised, “Huh?”

 

Asuna tells Kirito, “I can understand why. A guy having multiple girls swoon over him…” Asuna then glances at Kirito and gains images of Silica/Keiko, Lisbeth/Rika, Sinon/Shion, and even Lux/Hiyori.

 

Kirito asks, curiously, “Asuna?”

 

Asuna collects her thoughts and she says, nervously, “Nothing! Nothing, Kirito-kun! Anyway, I think that we should trust Leafa-chan. She can take care of herself.”

 

Kirito says, with a sigh, “Normally, I would agree with you, but with all that’s happening, I can’t be so sure.”

 

Asuna tells Kirito, with a smile, “It makes me wonder if you are really brother and sister and not just cousins.”

 

Kirito tells Asuna, “Our bond as siblings is more than just blood, Asuna. We’ve been family with Serena for who knows how many lives.”

 

Yui then says, “Mama! Papa! They are heading off!” Kirito and Asuna look with Yui as Menma and Leafa are at the teleport gate.

 

Menma yells out, “Teleport: Rovia!” The two of them vanish through the usual teleportation ‘animation’ in which Kirito, Asuna, and Yui get over to the teleportation gate.

 

Asuna says, “I still don’t feel right about this.”

 

Kirito tells Asuna, “As I said, normally, I wouldn’t do this to Sugu, but with what has happened…”

 

Asuna says, with a sigh and smile, “I know, Kirito-kun. Let’s catch up.”

 

Kirito shouts out, “Teleport: Rovia!”

 

But at that moment, Yui gasps and she yells out, “Papa, wait!” Kirito and Asuna look at Yui, but all three of them vanish through the teleportation effect, however, all three of them felt something ‘off’ as they started to teleport.

 

May 25, 2026, Tokyo, Juuban District

 

Within the Sailor Scouts’ base hidden within the Crown Fruit Arcade, Rika, Hiyori, and Keiko are being scanned by Ami with Rika having her arms crossed in front of her and showing off a lot of annoyance.

 

Rika asks, annoyed, “Didn’t you examine us yesterday?”

 

Ami says, “Yes, we did. However, we still can’t be sure that they didn’t have any effect and that effect could have been delayed.”

 

Keiko asks, curiously, “Do you think that we will be all right?”

 

Ami says, plainly, “So far, you are just fine. There doesn’t seem to be anything off with your readings.”

 

Hiyori says, “That’s good.”

 

Rika asks, annoyed, “Are we done yet?”

 

Hiyori tells Rika, with a bit of a nervous smile, “Easy, Rika.”

 

Ami says, “UNI-SHOCKER is an organization that crosses universes and we can’t be sure what kind of ‘powers’ and ‘other stuff’ that they have acquired. Our universe was one of many in their plans.” Ami continues to work for several minutes until she nods her head as she deactivates the scanners and Ami says, “Okay, I’m done.”

 

Rika says, with a sigh, “Finally.”

 

Ami says, “I’ll need to go over the data, but so far, there doesn’t seem to be anything ‘different’.”

 

Keiko says, “That’s good to know.”

 

Ami says, “Anyway, let’s join up with the others at Raye’s place.”

 

Hiyori says, with a nod, “Okay.” As they prepare to leave, none of them notice the slight glow that comes from Hiyori, Rika, and Keiko that vanishes as quickly as it has appeared, but the three said young ladies felt something ‘weird’ for a moment, however, they don’t pay that ‘feeling’ any mind.

 

May 25, 2026, ALO

 

Within a darkened area, we find Kirito and Asuna lying down on the ground, but they look as they did in SAO and not ALO in which the two of them groan out as they slowly wake up and get back up on their feet.

 

Kirito says, “That was…weird.”

 

Just then Asuna looks at Kirito, gasps, and she asks, “Kirito-kun?!”

 

When Kirito looks at Asuna, he asks, shocked by her appearance, “Asuna?!”

 

Asuna nods her head and she says, “You look like you did in SAO.”

 

Kirito looks over himself, sees that Asuna is right, and Kirito tells Asuna, “So do you.”

 

Asuna looks over herself and she asks, confused, “What’s going on?”

 

Yui’s voice booms out, “Mama! Papa!” Kirito and Asuna look to see Yui, in her ‘child form’, coming over to them.

 

Kirito asks Yui, “What’s going on, Yui?”

Yui says, with a nod, “Yes. This seems to be an area of ALO that’s separate from the rest of the world, but it seems to be cut off from everyone…even the administration.”

 

Kirito asks, surprised, “What?”

 

Asuna asks Yui, curiously, “Are you sure?”

 

Yui says, with a nod, “Yes, Mama.”

 

Kirito asks, curiously, “How could there be a part of ALO that not even the administration knows about?”

 

Asuna says, “Well, Ymir originally didn’t own ALO. They got from RCT Progress from when it closed down.”

 

Kirito asks, “Do you think that it is part of the original ALO? Back when…?”

 

Asuna says, with a solemn tone, “Maybe. I can’t be sure. Remember, ALO was a cover for his horrible experiments which were only exceed in what Kayaba did with SAO.”

 

Kirito says, “But I don’t on how we got here if this is a remnant of Sugou’s ALO.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Do you really need to ask Kirito-kun?” Kirito and Asuna gasp in shock and look to the source of the voice to see none other than Heathcliff walking towards them.

 

Kirito says, “Heathcliff…Kayaba!”

 

Asuna asks, stunned, “B-But how?”

 

Kirito says, with a serious glare, “That’s a good question, Asuna. He was supposedly destroyed when Sugu, Davis, and Kari stopped his plans to use the Queen’s Gate and they destroyed a duplicate of his digitized mind, but I didn’t think that someone as horribly ingenious as Kayaba would have ONE replica of his mind.”

 

Asuna gasps and Heathcliff says, “However, my ‘previous self’ did tell you the truth. But what he didn’t know is that there was indeed more than one copy of his digitized mind. To digitize one’s mind is a difficult process and duplicating it, even after digitization, is not an easy process and there might be ‘consequences’ that one doesn’t expect. But I do believe that my ‘previous incarnation’ wasn’t without knowledge of me, however, as I have stated before, he was telling you the truth at his demise at the end of Sword Art World.” Heathcliff then says, “It also makes you wonder if there isn’t more of ‘me’ out there. Remember, the virtual floating castle that floats in Alfheim Online was based on the one created for SAO and the very system that ALO runs on, Cardinal, was created by ‘me’. Also, ‘I’ was the one that gave you the Seed, Kirito-kun. Doesn’t that make you think that parts of ‘myself’ may be ‘imbedded’ in this world and in the worlds created by the Seed, Kirito-kun? It does make one think.”

 

Kirito says, with a sigh, “You are definitely another ‘shadow’ of Kayaba. You are exactly like him.” Kirito asks, with a glare and serious tone, “So, what are you trying to say?”

 

Heathcliff says, “A mystery for another day, Kirito-kun. You and Asuna are in quite a situation and you aren’t getting out of it.”

 

Kirito asks, plainly, “Until we beat you right?”

 

Heathcliff says, with a nod, “Indeed. However, not in the ‘SAO way’ of doing things, Kirito-kun.” Just then Heathcliff’s shield transforms into the duel disk that he used in his duel with Sailor Celestial and Dai.

 

Kirito asks, a bit surprised, “That kind of duel?”

 

Heathcliff responds, “Indeed, Kirito-kun.”

 

Kirito replies, in protest, “But we…” Just then Real Solid Vision duel disks, black for Kirito and white and red for Asuna, appear on Kirito’s and Asuna’s left wrist in which dueling decks appear soon afterwards.

 

Asuna asks, surprised, “Huh?”

 

Kirito says, with a sigh, “Of course.” Kirito asks Heathcliff, “But are you sure that you want to fight us two on one?”

 

Heathcliff says, snapping his fingers and with a sly smile on his lips, “Now, Kirito-kun, you should know better.” Just then, in a flash, Oberon, Sugou’s ALO avatar, appears to the left side of Heathcliff.

 

Asuna asks, stunned, “Oberon…I mean Sugou?!”

 

Kirito says, seriously, “I don’t think so, Asuna. He must be an AI duplicate created based Sugou’s avatar.”

 

Heathcliff says, “Correct. Ymir thought that they deleted it, but even through if something is ‘deleted’ doesn’t mean that it is completely and truly gone. You will find that it is faithful replication.”

 

The Oberon AI/NPC then says, with an evil leer in his expression, “My darling Titania, it is good to see you again.”

 

Asuna says, disgusted, “Don’t expect me to feel the same.”

 

Kirito says, annoyed, “That’s a real low blow, Kayaba.”

 

Heathcliff responds, “I may be inclined to agree with you, Kirito-kun. However, understand that I bare no malice with this.”

 

Kirito says, “Yes, I know that. However, your ‘logical sense’ is what usually pisses me off.”

 

Oberon says, as a Real Solid Vision duel disk appears around his left wrist, “Oh, my dear Titania, I can’t wait to have you by my side again.”

 

Asuna cringes and Asuna says, plainly, “Let’s get this over with.”

 

Kirito tells Asuna, concerned, “Asuna…”

 

Asuna tells Kirito, with a kind smile, “I’ll be okay, Kirito-kun.” Asuna says, glaring at Oberon, “Plus, I have a bit of ‘aggression’ to get out on him.”

 

Kirito thinks in his mind, a bit nervously, “Yikes. I almost feel sorry for him…Almost.”

 

Asuna tells Yui, “Yui-chan, please step to the side. We don’t want you to get hurt.”

 

Yui says, with a nod, “Okay.” A dueling deck appears in Oberon’s duel disk and all four of them activate their duel disks causing ‘energy blades’ containing their disk’s Monster and Pendulum Zones appear, their decks get shuffled, their touch screens display 8000 life-points for each team of duelists, and all four of them draw five cards from their respective decks.

 

“Let’s duel!” Kirito, Asuna, Oberon, and Heathcliff say in unison as their duel starts.

 

Yui says, “You can do it!” Kirito and Asuna nod their heads as they prepare for their duel against Heathcliff and Oberon.

 

May 25, 2026, Tokyo, Juuban District

 

Back IRL, we return to the Juuban District where we find everyone else assembled together at Cherry Hill Temple, Raye’s temple home, in which they are discussing the current situation.

 

Kotone asks, “Where is Kazuto and Asuna?”

 

Darien says, “They are keeping an eye on Suguha as she meets up with Naruto in ALO.”

 

Lita says, “I’m surprised that Naruto-san would be into VRMMO.”

 

Mina says, with a grin, “I’m not. Personally, I thought that he would be into them.”

 

Amara says, plainly, “Not surprising considering his childhood…or lack thereof.”

 

Mimi asks, curiously, “Do you think that it was bad as in the ‘darker’ fanfictions?”

 

Amara says, “More like ‘realistic’ fanfictions. Human nature isn’t as ‘tame’ as what we see in the Naruto anime and manga. They don’t go into ‘adult content’ for obvious reasons. Personally, I think that the stuff that we read in the more ‘mature’ Naruto fanfictions is in fact reality. I’m not sure how ‘extreme’ it is, but Naruto-san’s eyes tell the whole story.”

 

Mina says, “Well, he doesn’t seem like a bad guy.”

 

TK says, “Look can be deceiving, Mina-chan. He is a shinobi after all.”

 

Ken says, with a nod, “And even in the anime and manga, it is heavily implied that Naruto is using a ‘mask’ to ‘hide’ his anger and his hate from others.” Ken says, “However, I don’t think that Hinata-san and Sakura-san are with him out of just love or guilt. They aren’t ‘submissive’ type.”

 

Yolei says, with a nod, “Especially not Sakura Haruno of all people.”

 

Tai says, “Don’t be too sure, Yolei. Remember, we are talking about the REAL Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga, not the anime and manga versions that we know.”

 

Raye says, “Well, the thing is, I really don’t feel any true malice from Naruto-san. With someone like Naruto-san, with the most likely harsh ‘life’ that he lived, despite him being good at acting and we know THAT much, my ‘senses’ can detect his true ‘emotional state’ and he isn’t giving off any negative vibes.”

 

Michelle looks at Amara and she says, “Same here. He feels truthful that our ‘ninja system’ is truly messed up and after those two stories, Naruto-san does have a point.” Amara says, “However, despite him not being truly evil, it doesn’t mean that he is an ally. He had truthful information on Yuuko and Neo Paradius and he kept it to himself until now. And I don’t think that it is just out of the kindness of his heart.”

 

Darien asks Izzy and Ami, “That information is truthful?”

 

Izzy says, with a plain tone, “Beyond truthful, Darien.”

 

Ami says, with a nod of her head, “Naruto-san got so many details that we have verified that we know how to take down all of its defenses and ensure that no one really gets hurt.”

 

Serena says, “That’s good to know.”

 

Davis asks, seriously, “So, what are we waiting for?”

 

Matt says, “While Naruto-san giving us this information, we have to wonder why he is giving it to us. Naruto isn’t a bad guy, but we aren’t talking about the ANIME and MANGA version of Naruto that we know.”

 

Lita asks, “So, what’s our next move?” But then Raye’s and Amara’s ‘spiritual senses’ and Serena’s ‘danger sense’ goes ‘wild’ in which they leap to their feet.

 

Davis says, nervously, “Uh oh.”

 

TK says, with a nod, “I’ve got to agree.”

 

Patamon shouts out, “TK!” Everyone looks towards the Digimon and they see them looking outside in which when all the human members of our group look outside, they gasp to see none other than Jadeite, surrounded by a powerful dark violet aura, in front of them.

 

Raye asks, stunned, “Jadeite!”

 

Lita says, shocked, “No way!”

 

Darien says, seriously, “It can’t be! Kari vaporized you!”

 

Jadeite says, with a dark snarl, “Yes, my prince. You saw the Sun Prince’s wench vaporize me, but now, I have returned.”

 

Amara says, seriously, “Be careful, everyone! It isn’t the same Jadeite. He has incredible evil power in him!”

 

Jadeite says, with an evil smile, “Oh, yes, I do. Power that I will ensure that your precious princess suffer, thanks to a mutual new friend of mine. One that hates her as much as I do!”

 

Tai says, plainly, “Yuuko.”

 

Jadeite says, with an evil grin, “I’m surprised that a human can wield such dark powers, but then the Orichalcos is well-known as well as the power of the Earthbound Immortals!” Jadeite’s right arm then glows dark violet with the ‘Sign of the Monkey’ on his lower right arm.

 

Kari says, shocked, “That mark!” Just then Kari, Davis, Shion, and Serena’s Mark of the Dragon also start to glow in which Jadeite’s outfit becomes pitch black with ‘markings’ similar to the ones worn by the Dark Signers, the white irises of Jadeite’s eyes become black, and he gains the same markings on his face that Devack had.

 

Trista says, shocked, “He is…a Dark Signer!”

 

Kotone asks, worriedly, “Dark Signer?” Just then the whole of the area starts to shake as dark violet flames burst out of the ground all over the district where the dark violet flames take the form of the Nazca Line for the Monkey that’s engulfing Juuban.

Keiko asks, nervously, “What’s going on?”

 

Jadeite says, with an evil smile, “What’s going on is a Shadow Game and the Moon Princess will duel me.” Just then a Dark Signer duel disk, minus the ‘solid blade’, appears on Jadeite’s left wrist in which a dueling deck is inside.

 

Davis asks, with a sneer, “Why should she?”

 

Jadeite says, with a wicked grin, “You know what an Earthbound Immortal can do. Your precious brother is protected thanks to him being a Signer, but what about your parents? If there aren’t with your bratty Earth brother…”

 

Serena flinches from that remark and Darien says, angrily, “You…”

 

Serena then steps forward, taking out her duel disk from her sub-space pocket, and she says, plainly, “Fine, Jadeite. I guess that I don’t have a choice.”

 

Raye says, worriedly, “Hold on, Meatball Head!”

 

Serena responds, “Stay out of this, Pyro!” Serena says, “All of you stay together with Davis, Kari, and Shion, their Marks of the Dragon will create a protective shield just in case that I can’t win this before he calls out his Immortal. Please, stay safe.”

 

Darien says, “Serena…!!!”

 

Amara says, with a sigh, “This is out of our hands, Darien.” Darien gives a solemn expression as he looks at Serena, who inserts her deck into her duel disk, and she and Jadeite activate their duel disks causing ‘energy blades’ containing their disk’s Monster and Pendulum Zones to appear, their decks to be shuffled, and their touch screens to display 4000 life-points for each duelist as they draw five cards from their respective decks.

 

“Duel!” Serena and Jadeite say in unison as their duel begins.

Elsewhere in Juuban, we find ourselves in front of the Tsukino household where Sammy, his Mark of the Dragon glowing, is looking at the massive walls of dark violet flames as his parents goes over to him.

 

Ikuko says, worriedly, “Sammy, don’t get closer to that!”

 

Kenji asks, concerned, “What’s going on?”

 

Ikuko says, shocked, “Your arm!” Kenji looks at his son and sees the glowing Mark of the Dragon on Sammy’s lower right arm.

 

Kenji asks, confused, “What the?”

 

Sammy tells his parents, “Just stay by me and don’t leave my side!”

 

Ikuko asks, confused, “Sammy?” Sammy looks at his parents with a look that says ‘don’t argue with me’ and they can’t help to keep themselves close to Sammy in which he thinks, “You had better be careful, Meatball Head. I don’t know how, but my Mark of the Dragon is saying that you are dueling against someone…someone really bad. Keep it together, Serena.”

 

May 25, 2026, ALO, New Aincrad, Floor 4, Rovia

 

Within the Rovia of New Aincrad, which is exactly like the Rovia of original SAO, we find Leafa and Menma sitting down in a gondola as they ride through the waterway ‘streets’ of Rovia in which Menma winches causing him hold his right arm on reflex.

Leafa notices this and she asks, “What’s wrong?”

 

Menma responds, “I don’t know, but I have a feeling.” Menma then brings out his player menu and start to type a message causing Leafa to be curious at what he is typing.

 

May 25, 2026, ALO, Unknown area

 

Back with Kirito and Asuna, we find them, in their SAO avatars, about to duel an AI of Oberon AKA Sugou as well as a ‘remnant’ of Heathcliff/Kayaba in a tag team duel with Kirito starting off as he draws a card.

Kirito says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I play Ancient Rules! Now, I can play one level five or above non-effect monster from my hand and I choose Gaia, the Fierce Knight!” Kirito puts one card on his disk and Gaia, the Fierce Knight (2300/2100) appears on the field in attack mode. Kirito says, putting three cards into the main slot of his disk, “I place three cards face-down and play Swift Gaia, the Fierce Knight in attack mode!” Kirito puts the last card in his hand on his disk and Swift Gaia, the Fierce Knight (2300/2100) appears on the field in attack mode in which Kirito says, “Since this is the last card in my hand, I can play it without releasing another monster on my field. With that, I end my turn.”

 

Heathcliff says, drawing a card, “Clever, Kirito-kun. Now, it is my turn. I draw.” Heathcliff says, putting one card on his disk, “I play Marauding Captain!” Marauding Captain (1200/400) appears on the field in attack mode and Heathcliff says, putting one card on his disk, “Due to his ability, I can play one level four or below monster from my hand! I choose another Marauding Captain!” Another Marauding Captain (1200/400) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Asuna says, nervously, “That’s not good, Kirito-kun.”

 

Kirito says, with a nod, “Yeah.”

 

Heathcliff says, with a sly smile while putting one card into the main slot, “Indeed. Marauding Captain makes it impossible to attack another warrior type monster unless you attack him first and I have two, my dear. For now, I shall leave you with that thought and place one card face-down.”

 

Asuna says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! Here I go! I draw!”

 

Kirito thinks in his mind, “What kind of deck does Asuna have?”

 

Asuna says, putting one card on her disk, “I start off with Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in attack mode!” Kirito gasps as a sapphire appears on the field and glows as it ‘transforms’ into Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800/1200) appears on the field in attack mode in which Asuna says, as a card comes out of her deck, “Due to Pegasus’ ability, I can take one Crystal Beast and put it into my spell and trap zone and I choose Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle!” Asuna puts the card into the main slot of her disk and a large unrefined ruby appears in spell/trap zone of Asuna’s field. Asuna says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “Then I place one card face-down and end my turn.”

 

Kirito tells Asuna, “I didn’t know that you had that deck.”

 

Asuna says, with a smile, “You never asked, Kirito-kun.”

 

Oberon says, with an evil smile, “Oh, Titania, that deck shows what a shiny gem you truly are.”

 

Asuna says, with a sneer, “Take your turn.”

 

Oberon says, with an evil smile, “It seems like your mouth hasn’t changed, my dear Titania. I can’t wait to change that.” Asuna and Kirito sneer at Oberon and he says, drawing a card, “My turn! I draw!” Oberon says, putting one card into the main slot, “I activate Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen continuous spell card! As long as this card remains on the field, when I control no monsters, I can special summon one fairy monster from my hand!” Oberon says, putting one card on his disk, “And now, I use the power of mighty Valhalla to play Valkyrie Dritte in attack mode!” Just then Valkyrie Dritte (1000/1600) appears on the field in attack mode and Oberon says, taking a card from his deck, “Dritte’s ability allows me to add one Valkyrie from my deck to my hand when she is summoned to the field!” Oberon says, putting the card from his deck on his disk, “And I choose another Valkyrie Dritte!” Just then a second Valkyrie Dritte (1000/1600) appears on the field in attack mode in which Oberon says, taking a card from his deck, “And due to my darling Dritte’s ability, I get another Valkyrie from my deck!” Oberon then puts one card into the main slot of his disk, “My next lovely maiden is Goddess Skuld’s Oracle!” As the maiden pictured on the spell card appears in Oberon’s spell/trap zones of his field, he says, with an evil smile, “When she is on the field, since I only have Valkyrie monsters, I can take a certain spell from my deck and add to my hand!” Oberon adds a card from his deck to his hand and he says, putting said card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate that card! My lovely maiden, Goddess Verdande’s Guidance!” When the maiden pictured on that spell card appears in the spell/trap zones of Oberon’s field, he says, as he takes a card from his deck, “Same as my darling Skuld, when she is played when I only have Valkyries on my field, I can add, yet, another certain spell from my deck to my hand! And I will play it, too! My final deadly maiden from my deck: Goddess Urd’s Verdict!” After the maiden pictured on that said spell card appears in the spell/trap zones of Oberon’s field, he says, “And now, all Valkyrie monsters on my field can’t be destroyed or even targeted by your card effects! And now, let the torment begin!”

 

Kirito thinks in his mind, “I don’t like the sound of that!”

 

Oberon says, “I activate the power of my Goddess Oracle! Now, I can take a look at the top three cards of your deck and arrange them back on top of your deck in any order that I choose!” Oberon says, pointing to Kirito, “And that means you, boy!”

 

Kirito says, plainly, “Fine.” Kirito takes the top three cards of his deck and shows them to Oberon.

 

Oberon says, with a dark sadistic smile, “Good boy. Now, place the last card on top.” Kirito does as Oberon says and puts the cards exactly back on top of his desk. Oberon says, with an evil smile, “Next, I activate my Verdande’s power! I declare one type of card, monster, spell, or trap, and if it is that card, you have to set it face-down on the field. I say…monster!”

 

Kirito draws the top card of his deck and he says, “Since you are the one that arranged the top three cards of my deck, I’m not surprised.” Kirito puts the card face-down and a face-down monster card appears on his side of the field.

 

Oberon says, with an evil smile, “Then maybe I can impress you with this! I activate the power of my Goddess Urd! Now, I can guess the identity of a face-down card and if I am right, the card is removed from play! And I say that face-down monster is Black Luster Soldier!” The face-down monster is revealed to be Black Luster Soldier (3000/2500) before he vanishes in a flash.

 

Asuna says, shocked, “No!”

 

Oberon says, with an evil smile, “Plus, for every monster that has been banished by my maidens, my Dritte gain two hundred attack points!” Both Valkyrie Dritte’s stats goes from 1000/1600 to 1200/1600 since one of Kirito’s monsters has been removed from play. Oberon says, putting one card into the main slot, “There is nothing that you can do against me, boy! I am the king! I shall put one card face-down and end my turn.”

 

Kirito says, drawing a card, “We’ll see about that! My move!”

 

Oberon says, with an evil smile, “Too bad that your Black Luster Ritual card won’t help you.” Kirito snarls as he looks at the card in his hand and it is revealed to be the Black Luster Ritual spell card in which Oberon says, with a wicked cocky smirk, “The next card could have been useful, but too bad that you won’t get it.”

 

Kirito retorts, with a grin, “You think?” Oberon gives a confused look and Kirito says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my Jar of Greed trap card!” One of Kirito’s face-down cards is revealed to be the Jar of Greed trap card and Kirito says, “Thanks to this card, I can draw one new card from my deck!”

 

Oberon asks, stunned, “What?”

 

Kirito draws one card from his deck, looks at it, and he says, with a sly smile, “You’re right. It will be useful.” Kirito says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Pot of Greed! This card allows me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Kirito draws two cards, Oberon sneers at Kirito, and Kirito says, putting one card into the main slot, “Next, I play Polymerization!” Kirito discards one card from his hand, Curse of Dragonfire (2000/1500), a dark flame red version of Curse of Dragon, appears on the field, goes into a fusion vortex with Gaia, the Fierce Knight, and Kirito says, as he gets a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck, “I fuse Curse of Dragonfire with Gaia to form…Sky Galloping Gaia the Dragon Champion!” Kirito puts the Fusion Monster card on his disk and Sky Galloping Gaia the Dragon Champion (2600/2100), Gaia riding on Curse of Dragonfire instead of the ‘regular’ Curse of Dragon, comes out of the vortex in attack mode. A card comes out of Kirito’s deck and Kirito says, putting the card into the main slot of his disk, “When this Gaia comes out onto the field, I can take one Spiral Spear Strike and put it into my hand! And I activate that spell card right now! As long as it remains on the field, any time that Gaia attacks a defensive monster, he inflicts piercing damage and I draw a card! Gaia the Dragon Champion also benefits from this card as it does the same thing when he attacks a defensive monster and my Sky Galloping Gaia qualifies as Gaia the Dragon Champion.” Kirito says, “Sky Galloping Gaia attacks your Valkyrie and I activate his ability to switch your monster from attack mode to defense mode!” Valkyrie Dritte then changes from attack mode to defense mode as Sky Galloping Gaia attacks her.

 

Oberon says, with a dark sneer while pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so, brat! I activate my trap: Waboku!” Oberon’s face-down card is revealed to be the Waboku trap card and Oberon says, with a wicked smirk, “Thanks to this trap, my Valkyries are destroyed and I take no damage this turn!” A trio of maidens appear to protect Valkyrie Dritte from Sky Galloping Gaia’s attack.

 

Kirito says, with a plain tone, “I end my turn here.”

 

Heathcliff says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn. I draw.” Heathcliff says, putting one card on his disk, “I shall start with another Marauding Captain!” A third Marauding Captain (1200/400) appears on the field in attack mode and Heathcliff says, putting one card on his disk, “As you well know, due to his ability, I can play one level four or below monster from my hand! I choose Attack Gainer!” Attack Gainer (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode in which Heathcliff says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Card of Sanctity! All of us must draw from our decks until we have six cards in our hands!” All four duelists draw from their respective decks until each of them have half-a-dozen cards in their respective hands in which Heathcliff says, “Now, I tune Attack Gainer with all three Marauding Captains!” Attack Gainer turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds all three Marauding Captains, turning them transparent, and when Heathcliff gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field. Heathcliff then says, “Heaven! Fate! Principle of all phenomena, ride the spinning wheel of heaven and manifest here! Synchro Summon!” Heathcliff puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he says, “Come forth, Ascension Sky Dragon!” Out of the column of light, Ascension Sky Dragon (?/3000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Asuna says, worriedly, “Kirito-kun!”

 

Kirito says, with a nod, “I know, Asuna. That’s the monster that he used against Sugu and Dai in their duel.”

 

Heathcliff says, with a sly smile, “You should then remember that it’s attack points are eight hundred times the number of cards currently in my hand and since I have half-a-dozen…” Soon after, Ascension Sky Dragon goes from 0/3000 to 4800/3000 in which Heathcliff says, “Also, since Attack Gainer, when used for a Synchro Summon, causes one of your monsters to lose one grand in attack points until the end of this turn!” Sky Galloping Gaia roars out as it goes from 2600/2100 to 1600/2100 due to Attack Gainer’s ability and Heathcliff says, “Ascension Sky Dragon, strike down Kirito-kun’s knight! Ultimate Ascending Wave!” Ascension Sky Dragon unleashes a powerful wave of light energy right at Sky Galloping Gaia.

 

Kirito says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Activate trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Kirito’s face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Kirito says, “This trap card has two effects and I use its power to make my monster unable to be destroyed this turn!”

 

Heathcliff says, “However, you still take damage.”

 

As the attack slams from Sky Galloping Gaia, Kirito says, pushing another button on his disk’s touch screen, “Not if I activate my Defense Draw trap card!” Kirito’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Defense Draw trap card and Kirito says, “This trap card negates damage done to me by your attack and I get to draw a card.” A shield protects Kirito from wave that reflects off as Sky Galloping Gaia and after the attack stops, Kirito draws a card.

 

Heathcliff says, putting one card into the main slot, “Well done, Kirito-kun. However, let’s see if you can handle my dragon being equipped with my Mist Body equip spell. This card makes it impossible to destroy my monster in battle as long as this card is equipped to my Sky Dragon.” Heathcliff says, putting one card into the main slot, “Then I end my turn with a face-down card.” On the meanwhile, Sky Galloping Gaia goes back to its original stats since Attack Gainer’s effect has ended.

 

Oberon says, with a sneer, “Good work. I’m not surprised that you would mess up with this brat. Stay back and let me show you how it is done.”

 

Asuna says, drawing a card, “You should pay attention, Oberon.” Oberon looks at Asuna and she says, displaying Crystal Keeper (1500/1800) and Crystal Master (1300/1000) Pendulum Monster cards, “I take scale two, Crystal Keeper, and scale five, Crystal Master, and set the Pendulum Scale!” Asuna then puts the two cards on her disk’s Pendulum Zones causing her Monster Card Zones to glow with the word ‘Pendulum’ in rainbow colors.

 

Kirito thinks in his mind, shocked, “When did Asuna get Pendulum monsters?!” The two said monsters appear in two columns of light, one monster per column, and the number two below Crystal Keeper, and number 5 below Crystal Master.

 

Asuna says, “And now, I can summon monsters that are levels three and four this turn! Shine, Pendulum! Light the arc to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Asuna puts two cards on her disk and Asuna says, “Come forth, Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger and Amethyst Cat!” A circle of light appears on the field, two ‘lights’ come from the circle, and the ‘lights’ are revealed to be Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600/1000) and Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat (1200/400) appears on the field in attack mode. Asuna says, putting one more card into the main slot, “Then I equip Amethyst Cat with my Crystal Release equip spell and boosting her attack points by eight hundred!” Amethyst Cat then goes from 1200/400 to 2000/400 and Asuna says, “Sapphire Pegasus, attack his Valkyrie now!” Sapphire Pegasus then charges right for the attack position Valkyrie Dritte.

 

Heathcliff says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my Impenetrable Attack trap card!” Heathcliff’s face-down card is revealed to be Impenetrable Attack trap card and Heathcliff says, “And I, too, use its power to prevent all of our monsters to be destroyed this turn.”

 

Oberon yells out, annoyed, “I don’t need your help!”

 

Heathcliff says, with a sly smile, “It seems like you do, but this isn’t out of the goodness of my heart. I want to limit the damage that I take with you.” Sapphire Pegasus rams into the attack mode Valkyrie Dritte in which she is protected, but the shockwave hits Heathcliff and Oberon causing them to lose 600 life-points.

 

Asuna says, “Topaz Tiger, now, attacks, and for this attack, he gain four hundred more attack points!” Topaz Tiger then goes from 1600/1000 to 2000/1000 and slashes the attack mode Valkyrie Dritte which is safe, but the shockwave hits Heathcliff and Oberon causing them to lose 800 life-points while Topaz Tiger returns to its original stats since his ability has ended. Asuna says, “And now, due to Amethyst Cat’s ability, she can strike you directly with half of the damage!” Amethyst Cat, with a lioness like roar, leaps over Oberon’s two Valkyrie monsters and slashes Oberon in the face causing him to scream out as he and Heathcliff lose 1000 life-points.

 

Oberon yells out, holding his face in pain, “My face! My face!” As Amethyst Cat goes back to Asuna, she can’t help to let out a little smirk that kind of unnerves Kirito a bit, but he can understand why.

Asuna says, putting one card into the main slot, “Next, I activate my Rainbow Bridge! Now, I can add one Crystal spell and trap card from my deck to my hand.” A card comes out of her deck, Asuna puts the card into the main slot of her disk, and she says, “And then I place one card face-down to end my turn.”

Oberon says, with a sneer while drawing a card, “You will pay for that! I draw!” Oberon says, pointing to Kirito, “And your precious Kirito will pay for you! I activate the power of my goddess! The power of Oracle forces you to show me your top three cards and I can rearrange them!” Kirito draws the top three cards of his disk, shows them to Oberon, and Oberon says, “The top goes to the bottom and the bottom one goes on top!” Kirito rearranges the cards, puts them back on the top of his disk, and Oberon says, “And now, the power of my Verdande activates! I say that your top card is a monster!” Kirito draws the top card of his deck, looks at it, and puts it on his disk causing a face-down monster card to appear on the field in which Oberon says, with an evil sneer, “And now, Urd’s power activates! Your face-down is Buster Blader!” The face-down monster is revealed to be Buster Blader (2600/2300) before he vanishes in a flash in which Oberon says, “And now, my Dritte gain even more power!” Both Valkyrie Dritte goes from 1200/1600 to 1400/1600 since Kirito had another of his monsters removed from play. Oberon says, putting one card on his disk, “But I release both of my Valkyrie Dritte to play Valkyrie Brunhilde in attack mode!” Both Valkyrie Dritte vanish and Valkyrie Brunhilde (1800/2000) appears on the field in attack mode in which Oberon says, with a wicked smile, “My Brunhilde gains five hundred attack points for every monster on your side of the field and since my Titania has three with Kirito having two, it is a wonderful twenty-five hundred attack point boost for my maiden of war!” Valkyrie Brunhilde goes from 1800/2000 to 4300/2000 and Oberon says, with an evil smile, “Now, my lovely Brunhilde, attack his Gaia!” Valkyrie Brunhilde charges right for Sky Galloping Gaia.

 

Asuna says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I won’t let you hurt Kirito-kun, you snake! I activate my trap: Rainbow Path!” Asuna’s face-down card is revealed to be the Rainbow Path trap card and Asuna says, “Thanks to this trap, I can send one Crystal Beast in my spell and trap zones to my grave and I can negate your attack!” The unrefined ruby crystal vanishes and a shield protects Sky Galloping Gaia from Valkyrie Brunhilde in which Oberon sneers at this in which Asuna says, as a card comes out of her deck, “I also get a certain card from my deck.”

 

Kirito thinks in his mind, “And if that card is what I think it is, it is going to be a big move.”

 

Oberon says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I shall that you will need to be taught manners, Titania. I look forward to that.”

 

Kirito says, drawing a card, “Don’t count on it! My move! I draw!”

 

Oberon says, with an evil sneer, “Too bad that card I gave you is worthless.”

Kirito asks, with a sly smirk, “Is that what you think?” Oberon gives a confused look and Kirito says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I think that it goes well with the cards that Kayaba gave me…like this one! I play Mining for Magical Stones! By discarding two cards from my hand, I can return one spell card from my grave to my hand!” Oberon gives a yelp while Kirito discards two cards, a card comes out of his disk’s graveyard slot, and Kirito says, drawing two more cards, “And one of those two cards was the one that you gave me: Card of Compensation! Since I discarded it from my hand, I get two more cards from my deck! Thank you, Sugou!”

 

Oberon yells out, angrily, “You little brat!”

 

Kirito says, putting another card into the main slot, “And here is the spell that I got back from my grave: Pot of Greed! That means two more cards and two more ways to pound you into the dirt!” Kirito draws two cards from his deck, looks at his hand, and he says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start off with Silent Doom! Now, I can revive one monster in defense mode!” Just then Gaia, the Fierce Knight (2300/2100) appears on the field in defense mode. Kirito says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman!” Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman (400/300), a small white and grey feathered dragon with blue eyes, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Asuna thinks in her mind, amazed, “Oh, wow! I didn’t know that Kirito-kun had such a cute monster.”

 

A card comes out of Kirito’s deck and he says, “When Buster Whelp is Normal Summoned, I can add one Destruction Swordsman card from my deck to my hand!” Kirito says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate Burial from a Different Dimension! Now, I can return up to three monsters removed from play to my graveyard!” Just then two cards appear and goes into the graveyard slot of Kirito’s disk in which Kirito says, “I tune Buster Whelp with Gaia!” Buster Whelp then turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Gaia, turning him transparent, and as Kirito gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field. Kirito then says, “Shadow of the dragon slayer, emerge from the chaos and herald his wrath! Synchro Summon!” Kirito puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he says, “Meet Buster Dragon!” Out of the light, Buster Dragon (1200/2800), a massive black and dark grey, four-armed dragon with black and dark gold wings, appears on the field in defense mode. Kirito says, “As long as Buster Dragon remains on the field, all of my opponent’s monsters are dragon monsters!”

 

Valkyrie Brunhilde gains dragon-like features and Oberon says, with a sneer, “That doesn’t matter, my Brunhilde gains five hundred attack points since you added a monster to your field!” Valkyrie Brunhilde goes from 4300/2000 to 4800/2000 due to its ability and another monster on Kirito’s field.

 

Kirito says, “Then get ready for another monster since I don’t have a Buster Blader on my field, I can summon one from my graveyard and you know that I have one! Return, Buster Blader!” Just then Buster Blader (2600/2300) appears on the field in attack mode and Kirito says, “For every Dragon monster on your field and in your graveyard, Buster Blader gains five hundred attack points and there are TWO dragons on your field with one dragon in your grave!” Buster Blader then goes from 2600/2300 to 4100/2300 due to his special ability and Kirito says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “However, your troubles aren’t going to end! I play Destruction Swordsman Fusion!” Kirito discards a card from his hand causing Robot Buster Destruction Sword (1600/1200), a small white and dark grey dragon with golden scales as well as flaming sword in its mouth, to appear on the field and Kirito says, “I fuse Buster Blader with Robot Buster Destruction Sword!” Buster Blader and Robot Buster goes into a fusion vortex, Kirito gets out of a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck, and Kirito says, putting it on his disk, “I Fusion Summon Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!” Out of the fusion vortex, Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman (2800/2500), a silver, dark blue, and golden version of Buster Blader with a serrated white, black, and golden sword, appears on the field in attack mode. Kirito says, “This version of Buster Blader gains one thousand attack and defense points for every dragon on your field and in your grave! Since Buster Dragon has all of your monsters as dragons, Buster Blader gains three thousand points!” Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman then goes from 2800/2500 to 5800/5500 and Kirito says, “Also, Buster Blader forces your dragon monsters into defense mode and makes them unable to activate any abilities past this point!”

 

Oberon asks, shocked, “What?!” Soon after, Ascension Sky Dragon and Valkyrie Brunhilde, whose stats are now 5300/2000, due to Buster Blader being on Kirito’s field, switch from attack to defense mode.

 

Kirito tells Oberon, “If you think of using your Valkyrie’s ability to negate an attack by lowering her defense power, think again!”

 

Oberon sneers angrily at Kirito and Asuna says, excitedly, “Great job, Kirito-kun!”

 

Kirito says, “Time to end this! Sky Galloping Gaia, destroy Valkyrie Brunhilde!”

 

As Sky Galloping Gaia charges right at Valkyrie Brunhilde, Oberon says, with an angered sneer, “You aren’t ending anything!” Oberon pushes the button on his disk’s touch screen and he says, “I activate my trap: Wotan’s Judgment!” Oberon’s face-down card is revealed to be the Wotan’s Judgment counter-trap card and Oberon says, “By switching the top card of my deck with a spell card in my hand, I negate your monster’s attack and end the battle phase!” Oberon draws one card from his deck, puts another card from his hand on top of his disk, and Sky Galloping Gaia’s attack is stopped in its track as Oberon’s deck is reshuffled.

 

Kirito says, with a sneer, “Leave it to you to have a trick up your sleeve.” Kirito says, with a sly grin, “But I do too.” Oberon gives a confused look and Kirito says, “I remove Curse of Dragonfire and Buster Whelp from my graveyard and remove them from the game in order to play this!” Both said cards come out of the graveyard slot of Kirito’s disk and ‘vanish’ in which Kirito says, putting one card on his disk, “Black Luster Soldier, Envoy of the Beginning in attack mode!” Asuna and Oberon give gasps of shock and Black Luster Soldier, Envoy of Beginning (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode causing Valkyrie Brunhilde to go from 5300/2000 to 5800/2000 since Kirito has another monster on his and Asuna’s field.

 

Oberon yells out, flabbergasted, “No way! How does a punk like you have that LEGENDARY card?!”

 

Kirito says, “You won’t be around much longer to figure that out, Oberon! I activate Black Luster Soldier’s ability and banish one monster on the field from the game. Black Luster Soldier can’t attack, but that’s beside the point!” Black Luster Soldier sends a wave of energy into Valkyrie Brunhilde, who yells out as she is ‘blown up’ into hundreds of data particles.

 

Oberon says, in disbelief, “My Brunhilde!” Oberon yells out, angrily, “You are going to pay for that brat!”

 

Kirito says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “I think not. Since your Brunhilde originally wasn’t a dragon and she is now off the field, my Buster Blader loses one thousand points, but it was worth it! Now, I end my turn with two cards face-down.” On the meanwhile, we can see that Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman has gone down from 5800/5500 to 4800/4500 due to Valkyrie Brunhilde, who was turned into a dragon monster by Buster Dragon’s ability, has left the field.

 

Heathcliff says, drawing a card, “Then it is my move! I draw!” Heathcliff says, putting one card into the main slot, “I start off with a card that you used already: Pot of Greed! This gives me two more cards!” Heathcliff draws two cards, put one card into the main slot of his disk, and says, “Then I use Shield Crush! This spell card destroys one defense monster on the field!”

 

Kirito says, “Before that happens, I activate Buster Dragon’s ability! Once per turn, I can equip one Buster Blader monster on my field with a Destruction Sword monster in my graveyard! I equip Robot Buster to my Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!”

 

As an image of Robot Buster goes into Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman, Buster Dragon roars out as it is destroyed and Heathcliff says, with a sly smile, “Well, it is bad news for my ‘partner’.”

 

Oberon asks, annoyed, “What do you mean?”

 

Heathcliff says, “When Robot Buster is equipped to a monster, all spell and trap cards are face-up on our field can’t activate their effects. That means that Valhalla’s effect is worthless.”

 

Oberon gives a yelp and he then yells out, angrily, “You idiot! You might have prevented him from negating our monsters’ abilities, but now, you left me unable to summon my high-powered monsters!”

 

Heathcliff says, with a sly smile, “I believe that’s your problem, ‘your majesty’. I shall be continuing with my move.” Oberon sneers at Heathcliff and Heathcliff says, putting one card into the main slot, “Next, I activate my Foolish Burial! I take one card from my deck and send it to my graveyard.” A card comes out of Heathcliff’s deck and he puts it into his disk’s graveyard slot in which Heathcliff says, putting one more card into the main slot, “Next, I activate my Heroic Phoenix! I can summon one Heroic monster from my graveyard, but at the end of the turn, my monster is destroyed! I revive Heroic Challenger-Extra Sword!” Just then Heroic Challenger-Extra Sword (1000/1000), a green armored monster wielding two swords, appears on the field in attack mode and Heathcliff says, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Inferno Reckless Summon! Since I have a Special Summoned monster that has fifteen hundred attack points or less, I can now summon as many copies of that monster from my hand, deck, and graveyard!” Two more cards come out of Heathcliff’s deck, he puts them on his disk, and two more Heroic Challenger-Extra Swords (1000/1000 X 2) appears on the field in attack mode. Heathcliff says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Heroic Challenger-Spartan in attack mode as well.” Heroic Challenger-Spartan (1600/1000), a humanoid monster dressed like an Ancient Spartan, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Asuna says, “That’s a lot of monsters.”

 

Kirito says, “And they are all level four.”

 

Heathcliff says, with a sly smile, “You can guess what’s happening next, Kirito-kun. I Overlay two of my Extra Swords and build the Overlay Network!” Two of the Extra Swords turn into lights that goes into a vortex while Heathcliff puts the two monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone on his disk where he puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of them in which Heathcliff says, “I XYZ Summon Heroic Champion-Excalibur!” Out of the vortex, Heroic Champion-Excalibur (2000/2000), with two Light Overlay Units, appears on the field in attack mode causing Heathcliff to say, “And now, the effect of my Extra Swords activates, Kirito-kun. When you used to XYZ Summon, my Extra Swords give my new XYZ Monster one thousand more attack points and since I used two…” Asuna gasps while Kirito narrows his eyes as Heroic Champion-Excalibur goes from 2000/2000 to 4000/2000, due to effects of both Extra Swords used to summon him, with Heathcliff says, “And next, I Overlay my final Extra Sword and Spartan to build the Overlay Network once more!” Heathcliff’s final Extra Sword and Spartan turn into lights that goes into a vortex while Heathcliff puts the two monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone on his disk where he puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of them in which Heathcliff says, “I XYZ Summon Heroic Champion-Gandiva!” Out of the vortex, Heroic Champion-Gandiva (2100/1800), with two Earth Overlay Units, appears on the field in attack mode in which Heathcliff says, “Since I used another Extra Sword for his summoning, he gains one thousand more attack points!” Gandiva then goes from 2100/1800 to 3100/1800 due to the effect of the Extra Sword used to XYZ Summon him.

 

Oberon says, with a sneer, “It is about time.”

 

Heathcliff says, putting the last card in his hand into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play my Card of Burial Magic! By removing three spell cards from my graveyard from play, I can draw two new cards!” Three cards come out of the graveyard slot of Heathcliff’s disk, ‘vanish’, and Heathcliff then draws two new cards in which Heathcliff says, putting yet another card into the main slot, “Then I activate my Heroic Chance spell card! For this turn, one Heroic monster gets his attack points doubled, but it can’t attack directly this turn!” Excalibur then roars out as it glows while it goes from 4000/2000 to 8000/2000!

 

Asuna asks, shocked, “Eight thousand attack points?!”

 

Kirito says, with a serious glare, “And it is going to get worse Asuna.”

 

Heathcliff says, with a nod, “Indeed. I use the effect of Excalibur and remove its Overlay Units for Excalibur to gain attack points that are double its ORIGINAL attack points. Since its original attack points are two thousand, it means two thousand more attack points for Excalibur.” Excalibur absorbs its Overlay Units and its stats go from 8000/2000 to 10,000/2000 as it glows with power causing Asuna to gasp with shock and horror. Heathcliff says, putting the last card currently in his hand into the main slot of his disk, “Then I play Aria from Beyond! Now, I can play one spell card that has been removed from play and I choose Card of Sanctity! All of us must draw from our hands until we have six cards in our hands, everyone.” All four duelists draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands and Heathcliff says, putting one card into the main slot, “I’m sorry, Kirito-kun, but this is farewell to you and Asuna. I activate my Pump Up spell card and double the power of my Excalibur.” Excalibur gives a roar of power as it goes from 10,000/2000 to 20,000/2000 causing Asuna to gasp in shock and horror.

 

Oberon yells out, excitedly, “Finally!”

 

Heathcliff says, “Excalibur, attack Swift Gaia and end this duel!”

 

Excalibur charges in to attack Swift Gaia and Yui yells out, worriedly, “Mama! Papa!”

 

Kirito says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Activate trap!” Excalibur’s attack cuts Swift Gaia in half in a massive explosion that engulfs Kirito and Asuna in a ton of smoke while Yui yelps as she barely stands from the explosion while Oberon looks on with glee, expecting Kirito and Asuna to be defeated, but when the smoke and dust clears, it looks like Kirito and Asuna didn’t lose any life-points.

 

Oberon asks, confused, “What?”

 

Yui says, excitedly, “You’re all right!”

 

Kirito says, with a smile, “Yeah, we are. I activate my Enchanted Javelin trap card. Asuna and I gain life-points equal to attack points of an attacking monster.”

 

Heathcliff says, with a sly smile, “Namely my Excalibur and all of its twenty thousand attack point power.”

 

Kirito says, with a nod, “And that means that we don’t lose a single life-point that we originally had.”

 

Heathcliff says, putting one card into the main slot, “Then I shall place one card face-down and end my turn.”

Kirito tells Asuna, “Be careful, Asuna.” Asuna looks at Kirito in which he makes a motion at Heroic Champion-Gandiva and Asuna quickly gets what Kirito means.

 

Asuna thinks in her mind, “Kirito-kun is right. Gandiva’s ability allows the commander…Kayaba to remove an Overlay Unit and then negating a special summoning of a level four and below monster. That means that I can’t use Pendulum Summoning. I’m sure that I’m all right. Sugou…or his ‘doppelganger’ in this duel has no monsters and he is open. But then again…” As Asuna looks at Heathcliff, she thinks in her mind, “Why didn’t he switch his dragon to attack mode and try to attack? Plus, he could have attacked us with Gandiva, but for some reason, he is trying for a one-shot kill.” Asuna looks at her hand and the field in which she says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I start off with Monster Reincarnation! By discarding a card from my hand, I can return one monster from the grave to my hand!” Asuna discards one card, a card comes out of her disk’s graveyard slot, and Asuna says, drawing two cards, “The card that I discarded was Card of Compensation! Since I discarded from my hand, I get two new cards!” Asuna says, putting another card into the main slot, “Then I activate Polymerization!” Asuna discards four cards, causing Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle (300/300), Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth (1700/1600), Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle (1400/800), and Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise (600/2000) to appear on the field behind the other Crystal Beasts already out on the field in which she says, “And now, I combine all seven of my Crystal Beasts together!”

 

Everyone else shows looks of surprise and Oberon asks, stunned, “What?” All seven Crystal Beasts then go into a fusion vortex while Asuna gets out a glowing Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck.

 

Asuna says, putting the Fusion Monster card on her disk, “And now, I Fusion Summon Rainbow Overdragon!” Out of the fusion vortex, Rainbow Overdragon (4000/0), a silvery-white and golden version of Rainbow Dragon, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Kirito says, amazed, “Asuna…”

 

Asuna says, putting one card on her disk, “Since all seven Crystal Beasts are in my grave, I also summon the original Rainbow Dragon as well!” A shining light comes onto the field and out of that light, Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Oberon gives a nervous look and Asuna yells out, “It is time to end this madness! Rainbow Dragon, attack ‘his majesty’ directly! Rainbow Reflection!” Rainbow Dragon charges up and unleashes a beam of rainbow colored energy right at Oberon causing him to yell out in fear.

 

Heathcliff says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I shall assist you, Sugou. I activate my trap: Attack Guidance Armor.” Heathcliff’s face-down card is revealed to be the trap card known as Attack Guidance Armor and Heathcliff says, “This trap card allows me to transfer the attack of your monster to my Sky Dragon.”

 

Kirito says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong! I activate my trap: Trap Jammer!” Kirito’s face-down card is revealed to be the Trap Jammer counter-trap and Kirito says, “Since you activated your trap during the Battle Phase, this trap negates your trap!”

 

As Heathcliff’s trap card shatters as it is negated, Heathcliff says, with a smirk, “Well played.”

 

Oberon yells out, with panic in his voice, “Don’t compliment that brat! Do something!” However, Heathcliff closes his eyes as Rainbow Dragon unleashes its attack where it slams into Oberon causing him to scream as he is blasted backwards and knocked to the ground as he and Heathcliff lose 4000 life-points.

 

Asuna yells out, strongly, “Now, Overdragon, end this duel! Rainbow Over-Reflection!” Rainbow Overdragon’s wings then glowed and it then unleashes its attack on Oberon causing him scream out in fear just before it hits causing a massive explosion of rainbow light as he and Heathcliff lose 4000 more life-points as well as the duel.

Oberon screams out as he is engulfed by the explosion of rainbow energy along with Heathcliff and Yui yells out, as she, Kirito, and Asuna get ‘swallowed’ as well, “Mama! Papa!” For Kirito, Asuna, and Yui, everything goes ‘black’ as they are swallowed by the explosion of light.

 

May 25, 2026, ALO, New Aincrad, Floor 4, Rovia

 

In the main town of the fourth floor of New Aincrad, we find ourselves within the plaza that contains the teleport gate and in a flash of light that’s the teleportation effect, Kirito and Asuna, both of whom are back in their ‘ALO forms’, appear where we see them on their knees as they appear in which they shake their heads.

 

As they get on their feet, the two of them regain their focus and Kirito asks, “Where?”

 

Asuna says, seeing Kirito, “Kirito-kun, you are back to…”

 

Kirito looks at Asuna and he says, “Yeah, I can see that you are back in your ALO avatar, Asuna.” Asuna looks herself over and Kirito asks, “What was that?”

 

Yui, back in her ‘pixie form’, tells Kirito, “Papa, we were in some kind of unknown area of ALO. It was probably a part of SAO that wasn’t open to the players that carried over with the creation of New Aincrad in ALO.”

 

Kirito says, “So, it wasn’t a dream.”

 

Yui says, “I believe not, Papa.”

 

Asuna asks, “Then those two that we fought…?”

 

Yui says, “AI based on Heathcliff and Oberon.”

 

Kirito says, looking around, “Maybe we should talk about this somewhere else.” Yui and Asuna look around to see the players in the area are focused on them in which they quickly get away from the teleport gate, but while this is happening, Kirito thinks in his mind, “So, we were fighting AI based on Kayaba and Sugou, huh? After Sugu and Davis beat him, Kayaba did say that his copy of his mind was lost, but could this mean that there are duplicates of Kayaba’s mind that we don’t know about…that even he didn’t know about. It doesn’t seem possible, but Kayaba could have ‘imprinted’ himself in The Seed through not intending to do so. Could have an ‘imprint’ of his mind survived, here, in ALO, since it uses the same system as SAO? For now, it is best that the others don’t know about this.” When Kirito looks at Asuna, she gently nods her head like she knows what Kirito is thinking.

 

May 25, 2026, Neo Domino City, Tops District

 

Back IRL, we are now in Neo Domino City, more specifically, the Tops District, where we find Yusei, Akiza, and Yugi looking out, from the balcony of Luna’s and Leo’s former apartment home, into the distance as Joey and Duke goes over to them.

 

Duke asks, “What’s up?”

 

Yusei, who, like Akiza, is rubbing his right arm, says, “There is something wrong here.”

 

Yugi asks, “You feel it too?”

 

Akiza asks Yugi, surprised, “You too?”

 

Yusei says, “It is probably due to his ‘exposer’ to the power of the Millennium Puzzle.”

 

Yugi says, “Probably. Ever since Atem left for the afterlife and the Millennium Items were buried with Atem taking the Puzzle into the afterlife while the Ring was destroyed, I’ve had a ‘sense’ when stuff like what we are ‘feeling’ is going on. Pegasus told me that he could always sense ‘chaos’ ever since he lost the Millennium Item to the spirit of Zorc in the Millennium Ring.”

 

Yusei says, “I guess that it is the same for us since we were once the Crimson Dragon’s Signers. It must have left a bit of its power in each of us giving us similar kind of ‘danger sense’.”

 

Crow’s voice booms, worriedly, “And we know why, Yusei. You have to look at this!” Yusei, Akiza, Yugi, Joey, and Duke join the other former Signers in living room where Yusei and Akiza gasp to see a live television report showing the dark violet flames in the shape of Monkey from the Nazca Lines in the Juuban District of Tokyo.

 

Akiza says, shocked, “That’s…!!”

 

Yusei says, with a plain tone, “The Dark Sign of the Monkey. It looks like Yuuko has made her new Dark Signers.”

 

Jack says, rubbing his right arm, “And that’s what we have been sensing. I’ve got a feeling that our successors are fighting this new Dark Signer right now.”

 

Luna asks, worriedly, “What can we do?”

 

Yusei says, “Nothing, Luna. All we can hope is that our successors win this battle.”

 

Jack says, plainly, “I don’t like it.”

 

Crow retorts, “You think that we do, Jack?” As Yugi, Duke, Joey, and the formers look at the report on television, they can’t help to be concerned at the battle that’s happening in Juuban.

 

May 25, 2026, Tokyo, Juuban District

 

At said district, we return as the duel between Serena and Jadeite, now ‘revived’ as the Dark Signer of the Monkey, gets underway.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “I have to end this before he summons that Earthbound Immortal or else, the people trapped in here.”

 

Jadeite taunts, in a dark nasty tone, “Worried about the poor people? You should be. You are going to fail, Moon brat. Just like you did with those that died in SAO!”

 

Serena flinches from that and Raye tells Serena, “Don’t listen to him, Meatball Head! He is trying to get your goat!”

 

Rika says, with a nod, “Yeah, girl! You are better than that!”

 

Serena says, drawing a card, “My turn! I draw!” Serena says, displaying Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon (1200/2400) and Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon (1200/600) Pendulum Monster cards, “I take the scale one, Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon, and scale eight, Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon, and set the Pendulum Scale!” Serena puts said cards onto her disk’s Pendulum Zones causing the Monster Card Zones of her disk to glow with the word ‘Pendulum’ in rainbow colors, both monsters appear on the field in columns of light, one monster per column, and the number 1 below Persona Dragon and number eight below Mirage Dragon. As a crystal pendulum appears swinging between both columns, Serena says, “I can now summon monsters that are levels two through seven this turn! Swing, Pendulum! Draw the arc of light to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Serena puts one card on her disk and she says, “Help me, Odd-Eyes Dragon!” A circle of light appears on the field, a ‘light’ comes from that circle, and that ‘light’ becomes Odd-Eyes Dragon (2500/2000) in attack mode. Serena says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “Then I place two cards face-down and end my turn.”

 

Jadeite says, drawing a card, “Is that all? My turn! I draw!” Jadeite says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start off with Heavy Storm! It destroys all spell and trap cards currently out on the field!”

 

A massive storm comes onto the field and Serena thinks in her mind, “Uh no! I’ve been sparing one of my face-downs for…Rats! There is nothing that I can do! I need my other cards just in case!” Serena says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I activate my face-down: Spell Shield Type-Eight!” Serena’s face-down card is revealed to be the Spell Shield Type-8 counter-trap card and Serena says, discarding one card from her hand, “It has two effects and by discarding a spell card, I can use its second effect and negate a spell card and destroy it!” The device pictured on the trap card appears and creates a shield that negates the storm in which Serena says, drawing two cards from her deck, “The spell card that I discarded was Card of Compensation! That means that I draw two new cards from my deck!”

 

Jadeite says, with a dark grin, “I thought so.”

 

Ken says, “Crap! Serena must have been preparing that card to deal with his Field Spell and Jadeite forced her to use it.”

 

TK says, with a nod, “You’re right, Ken. That’s not good.”

 

Jadeite says, displaying the Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell card, “Not good for her, human. I play my Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell!”

 

Trista says, shocked, “You are insane! Mixing the power of the Dark Signers and the Orichalcos could be potentially be disastrous!”

 

Jadeite yells out, with a dark strong tone, “I don’t care!” Jadeite slams the card into the Field Spell slot of his disk and when it closes, Jadeite roars out as a column of eerie green light engulfs him causing a powerful wind to hit the area.

 

Davis shouts out, “Damn! He played it!” Soon enough, the seal surrounds both Jadeite and Serena in which the insignia of the Orichalcos appearing on his forehead with a red glow in his eyes and a powerful dark violet aura surrounding him.

 

Raye says, with a nervous look on her expression, “Such darkness…such malice…and evil…”

 

Amara says, “The combined powers of the Dark Signers and the Orichalcos…it’s frightening…”

 

Tris ta says, “And unstable in which I’m not talking about his mental state. The combining of two sinister powers like this. It may not bode well…for anyone…”

 

Serena asks, shocked, “What have you done?”

 

Jadeite says, with an evil grin, “Ensured your destruction, Moon brat.” Jadeite says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Now, I activate my Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and then I discard two!” Jadeite draws three cards, discards two from his hand, and Jadeite says, putting another card into the main slot, “Then I activate my Silent Doom! I use it to revive my Larvas!” Soon after, Larvas (800/1000-1300/1000) appears on the field in defense mode and becomes infused with the power of the Orichalcos in which Jadeite says, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I play my Ayers Rock Sunrise! I can revive one Beast monster from my graveyard and then your monsters lose two hundred attack points for every Beast, Winged Beast, and Plant monster in my graveyard! I choose Des Kangaroo!” Just then Des Kangaroo (1500/1700-2000/1700) on the field in attack mode and gets infused with power of the Orichalcos in which Jadeite says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Tuning Gum!” Soon after, Tuning Gum (0/0-500/0) appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos in which Jadeite says, “Tuning Gum’s ability activates! Now, I can treat one monster on the field as a Tuner monster and I choose Des Kangaroo!”

 

Mina says, nervously, “Uh oh.”

 

Jadeite says, with a dark smile, “And now, I tune Des Kangaroo with Larvas!” Des Kangaroo turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Larvas, turning it transparent, and a column of light appears on the field when Jadeite gets a Synchro Monster card on his disk causing Jadeite to say, “When the shadows are swallowed by darker shadows, the certain pulls back to reveal a world without light! Synchro Summon!” The column of light becomes a pitch black column of darkness and Jadeite says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “Take your throne, Zeman the Ape King!” Out of the column of darkness, Zeman the Ape King (2500/1800-3000/1800) appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of Orichalcos. Jadeite gives a slight winch and he says, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Card of Sanctity! Forcing both of us until we have six cards in our hands!” Both Serena and Jadeite draw from their respective decks until they, each, have half-a-dozen cards in their hands and Jadeite says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Ancient Rules spell cards! This cards allows me to summon one level five or above non-effect monster from my hand! I choose Big Koala!” Jadeite puts another card on his disk and Big Koala (2700/2000-3200/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos. Jadeite says, “And now, I tune Tuning Gum with Big Koala!” Tuning Gum turns into a star that turns into a ring that surrounds Big Koala, turning it transparent, and when Jadeite gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field. Jadeite says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk, “I call out Blood Mefist!” Out of the column of light, Blood Mefist (2800/1300-3300/1300) appears on the field in attack mode and getting infused with the power of Orichalcos.

 

Lita says, “That’s double trouble.”

 

Rika says, with a nod, “That’s for sure.”

 

Jadeite yells out, with a dark wicked smirk, “Now, Zeman, attack her worthless lizard!” As Zeman prepares to attack, Jadeite says, with an evil smile, “And don’t think that your face-down is going to help! When Zeman attacks, you can’t play any spell and trap cards until after he attacks!” Serena gasps in shock as Zeman shoots a blast of ‘dark energy’ from his specter that slams into Odd-Eyes Dragon causing him to explode in which Serena yelps as she is sent skidding backwards a bit from the explosion while she loses 500 life-points.

 

Darien asks, concerned, “Are you okay?”

 

Serena says, with a winch, “I’m okay.”

 

Jadeite says, “You won’t be for long! Blood Mefist, attack her directly!”

 

As Blood Mefist prepares to attack Serena, Serena says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: Scrap-Iron Scarecrow!” Serena’s face-down card is revealed to be the Scrap-Iron Scarecrow trap card and Serena says, “This trap card negates your attack!” A scarecrow made of scrap-iron appears in front of Serena and protects her from Blood Mefist’s attack.

 

Jadeite says, with an evil smile, “Your protection won’t help you long. I end my turn.”

Serena says, drawing a card, “My move! I draw!”

 

Jadeite says, “And now, Blood Mefist’s ability activates! During my opponent’s Standby Phase, Mefist inflicts damage equal to three hundred times the number of cards that you control! And since you have three cards on your field, you suffer nine hundred points of damage!” Serena yelps as she gets barraged by blood red spears causing them to cut her as she loses 900 life-points.

 

Darien says, worriedly, “Serena!”

 

Serena says, with a winch, “I’m okay.”

 

Jadeite says, with an evil smirk, “You had better move, princess. I have two monsters and a Field Spell out. Any second, I could have my Immortal in my hand if I don’t have it already.”

 

Serena flinches and Hiyori says, worriedly, “Serena…”

 

Kotone asks, concerned, “Will she be okay?”

 

Tai says, “That’s a good question.”

 

Serena says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I activate Polymerization!” Serena discards three cards causing three Blue-Eyes White Dragons (3000/2500 X 3) to appear on the field before going into a fusion vortex in which she says, as she gets a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck, “I Fusion Summon Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!” Serena puts the Fusion Monster card on her disk and out of the fusion vortex, Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (4500/3800) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Keiko says, “Wow. She is bringing out one of her powerful monsters.”

 

Amara says, plainly, “Yes, she is…”

 

Serena shouts out, “Blue-Eyes, take out his overgrown ape! Neo Neutron Blast!”

 

As Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon prepares to attack, Jadeite says, discarding a card, “Sorry, Moon brat, but I activate my Zeman’s ability! By discarding one monster from my hand or releasing one monster on my field, your lizard’s attack is as worthless as you are!” Serena’s eyes widen as Neo Blue-Eyes attacks, but Zeman creates a shield as an image of Ape Magician (800/1200) appears ‘around’ the shield where the attack hits the shield causing it to be negated.

 

Raye says, “Damn it! That Meatball Head is letting Jadeite get to her, big time!”

 

Serena says, with a plain tone, “With the set Pendulum, I Pendulum Summon! Swing, Pendulum! Draw the arc of light to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Serena says, putting two cards on her disk, “Come on out, Counselor Lily! Guiding Ariadne!” A circle of light appears on the field, two ‘lights’ come from the circle, and those ‘lights’ are Counselor Lily (400/1500) and the Pendulum Monster, Guiding Ariadne (1700/800), appear on the field in attack mode in which Serena says, “I tune Counselor Lily with Guiding Ariadne!” Counselor Lily turns into three stars that turn into three ring that surround Guiding Ariadne, turning it transparent, and when Serena gets a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field and Serena says, “The holy light of protection, shine now and become eternal life! Synchro Summon!” Serena says, putting the Synchro Monster card on her disk, “Shine, Ancient Fairy Dragon!” Out of the light, Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100/3000) appears on the field in defense mode.

 

Jadeite asks, with a scoff, “And what was that for?”

 

Serena says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “You’ll see! I place one card face-down…”

 

Jadeite yells out, interrupting, “And now, Blood Mefist’s second ability activates! When you place a card face-down, you get bitten with three hundred points of damage!” Serena yelps as she is hit by blood red projectiles causing her to lose 300 more life-points.

 

Serena says, with a winch, “I end my turn.”

Jadeite says, with an evil smile, “You are too late, princess.”

 

Everyone else’s eyes widen and Sora says, worriedly, “Oh no.”

 

Jadeite yells out, “I release Blood Mefist and Zeman!” The two monsters vanish from the field and Jadeite says, his red tinted black iris eyes glowing with ‘dark power’, “Once again, the Immortals walk the land and their darkness shall engulf you all! I summon Earthbound Immortal Cusillu!” Jadeite puts the card on his disk in which a familiar ‘cocoon’ appears in the sky and Jadeite says, “Originally, this Immortal absorbed the power of the dissents of the Duel Monsters’ realm, but since that’s ‘off-limits’ now, it will feed upon your city!”

 

Serena shouts out, horrified, “No!” The ‘cocoon’ starts its process causing Davis’, Kari’s, and Shion’s Marks of the Dragon to glow in which they start to surround everyone, minus Serena, but then all of the Sailor Scouts of the group transform into their Valkyrie Sailor Scout forms, with Darien also transforming into Tuxedo Mask, in which they add to the ‘glow’ coming from the three Signers’ Marks of the Dragon.

 

Mimi says, amazed, “You transformed!”

 

Ken says, “I guess that’s an ‘automatic function’ of your powers.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “Indeed. The powers of the Immortals is great, but our powers come from ‘cosmic forces’ and can give us protection equal to the chosen of the Crimson Dragon.”

 

Patamon says, worriedly, “Yeah, we’ll be okay, but everyone else…!!!” Just then ‘spirits’ from all over Juuban start to flow into the ‘cocoon’ while Serena also transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Moon while looking on in horror.

 

Jadeite yells out, evilly, “You failed, Sailor Moon! The souls of the people of your home are mine!”

 

Sailor Moon says, horrified, “No!”

Back at the Tsukino household, we find Sailor Moon’s Earth family together and surrounded in a crimson red force-field produced by Sammy’s Mark of the Dragon.

 

Ikuko asks, fearfully, “What’s happening?”

 

Sammy says, “The worst thing that could happen. This is bad. Really bad.” Ikuko and Kenji look at their son and see the intense look in his eyes.

Returning to the duel, when the ‘cocoon’ stops absorbing souls, there is a column of dark violet energy in which Earthbound Immortal Cusillu (2800/2400-3300/2400) appears on the field and gets infused with the power of the Orichalcos.

 

The others are shocked and Sailor Venus says, shocked, “Oh, boy!”

 

Palmon says, stunned, “He’s huge!”

 

Mimi says, shocked, “Beyond huge, Palmon!”

 

Cody asks, seriously, “So, that’s an Earthbound Immortal?”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “Indeed, Cody.”

 

Rika says, nervously, “That’s one big monkey.”

 

Tai says, “I don’t think that this is the time for sarcasm, Rika.” Jadeite gives an evil grin, but he then holds his head and grunts out in pain in which he stumbles around.

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, confused, “What’s the matter with him?”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “I think that this is the result of mixing two ‘dark forces’ together.”

 

Sailor Neptune says, “An unstable mixture.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “Yes, it is.”

 

Jadeite says, “And now, Sailor Moon, prepare to join those poor souls that you failed to protect! Cusillu, attack Sailor Moon directly and get revenge on Ancient Fairy Dragon by destroying her new Signer!”

 

Cusillu pulled back his right fist and Keiko shouts out, worriedly, “Serena!”

 

Sailor Moon says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I play my trap!”

 

Jadeite says, with a wicked grin, “Traps won’t work on my Immortal!”

 

Sailor Moon says, “Good thing that my trap isn’t aiming for me! It is for protecting me! I activate my Fairy Aura!” Sailor Moon’s face-down card is a trap card with Ancient Fairy Dragon protecting another monster, a fairy type, with a forest green aura and Sailor Moon says, “With Ancient Fairy on the field, I get negate damage once per turn, so, I’m safe from your Immortal!” A shield then protects Sailor Moon from Cusillu’s fist and while the whole area shook from the impact, Sailor Moon doesn’t lose a single life-point in which Sailor Moon says, “And since I was guarded from battle damage, I activate one of its two secondary effects! Since I have a Light monster with Fairy Dragon and you have more cards than me, I get to draw equal to half of the cards currently in your hand! Since you have four, I draw two!” Sailor Moon draws two cards from her deck and Jadeite sneers at her with a dark nasty expression.

 

Jadeite says, with a dark nasty tone while putting one card into the main slot, “Not bad, brat! But I place one card face-down and end my turn.” Jadeite says, with an evil smile, “Remember, ‘your majesty’, as long as I have a Field Spell, my Immortal and its powers remain on the field and since my Field Spell can’t be destroyed, you are out of luck!”

 

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card, “We’ll see! My turn! I draw!” Serena says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I play Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and discard two from my hand!”

 

Jadeite says, with a dark wicked grin, “Like you will draw anything that will save your little princess butt!” Sailor Moon draws three cards from her deck and looks at her head, but she then does a double-take at one of the three cards that she just drew causing her to think in which she gets a look of revelation on her face making the others, especially Jadeite, confused.

 

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, “I’m not sure that it would work, but technically, I’m not ‘destroying’ it, so…” Sailor Moon then discards two cards from her hand, puts another one into the main slot of her disk, and she says, “Then I play Monster Reborn! With it, I revive one monster in the grave and I choose Arkbrave Dragon!” Just then Arkbrave Dragon (2400/2000), a golden and white four-winged dragon, appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Jadeite says, with a dark smirk, “One of the two cards that you discarded, huh? Not like it will help.”

 

Sailor Moon says, with a sly smile, “Actually, Jadeite, I think that Arkbrave will since when summoned from the graveyard, he banishes as many face-up spell and trap cards on your field!”

 

Jadeite laughs and he says, with an evil smile, “Fool! The Seal of Orichalcos…!!”

 

Sailor Moon replies, slyly and interrupting Jadeite, “…can’t be DESTROYED, Jadeite. However, technically, I’m not ‘destroying’ the Seal of Orichalcos with Arkbrave’s ability. And knowing magic like Orichalcos, it is pretty LITERAL when it comes to stuff like this. So, since I’m not ‘destroying’ the Seal of Orichalcos, it ISN’T immune to my Arkbrave’s power!”

 

Jadeite yells out, stunned, “No, it can’t be!” Arkbrave Dragon gives a mighty roar and a powerful light erupts from the ground causing the Seal of Orichalcos to vanish from the field causing Jadeite to yell out, flabbergasted, “How can this be?!”

 

Sailor Moon says, with a sly smile, “By the way, since your Field Spell is gone, say goodbye to your Immortal!” Soon after, Earthbound Immortal Cusillu roars out as it sinks into the ground causing Jadeite to gasp and when Cusillu is gone, Jadeite grunts out in pain and stumbles forward with Sailor Moon saying, strongly, “And I’m willing to bet your trap card is worthless without your Immortal to back you up!”

 

Jadeite thinks in his mind, shocked, “No! My Spirit Barrier trap card won’t work without my Immortal!”

 

Sailor Venus says, excitedly, “She did it!”

 

Sailor Mars says, amazed, “She, actually, did it!”

 

Sailor Moon yells out, strongly, “You’re finished! Thanks to my dragon, he gains two hundred points for banishing your Field Spell, but it won’t matter after this!” As Arkbrave Dragon goes from 2400/2000 to 2600/2200, Sailor Moon says, “Neo Blue-Eyes, finish this duel with Neo Neutron Blast!” Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon unleashes its attack and Jadeite looks on in horror as it slams into him causing him to scream out as he is slammed by the attack causing him to lose 4500 life-points as well as lose the duel.

With the end of the duel, Jadeite, his form smoking from Neo Blue-Eyes’ attack, falls to his knees as his form starts to turn to dust, but then the Seal of Orichalcos forms around him once more and his eyes go blank as his body turns into dust that vanishes soon afterwards, leaving only his duel disk, deck, and the Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell with his face on it. Afterwards, the dark flames start to dispel and ‘spirits’ appear in the skies in which when they land, they reform into the people absorbed by the Earthbound Immortal.

 

Kotone says, amazed, “She did it!”

 

Hiyori says, awe-struck, “She is amazing.”

 

Rika says, with a proud smile, “And that’s why she is Sailor Moon and the ‘White Valkyrie’ of SAO!” Soon afterwards, however, Sailor Moon, breathing heavily, falls down to one knee.

 

Tuxedo Mask says, concerned, “Serena!” But before Tuxedo Mask can run over to Sailor Moon, Yuuko appears through some kind of teleportation over where Jadeite was before he turned into dust.

 

Sailor Jupiter says, with a snarl, “You!”

 

Yuuko ignores Sailor Jupiter, picks up the Seal of Orichalcos card that has Jadeite’s soul sealed inside, and she says, “You have defeated the seal WITHOUT the legendary dragons? Very…interesting.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a smirk, “More like pissed off. Not at Sailor Moon’s victory, but more for the fact that she found your card’s SECOND weakness.”

 

Yuuko says, “A weakness that I will correct.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, “Not if I correct you! This madness is over!” Before anyone could stop her, Sailor Jupiter charges right at Yuuko, but she then ‘erupts’ with a powerful ‘dark aura’ and from that ‘dark aura’, a titanic fiend with green skin, armored covered in bones with spike-like bony knuckles, and skull helmet, appears from Yuuko in which with one slap, Sailor Jupiter is sent skyward.

 

Sailor Venus says, shocked, “Jupiter!”

 

Yuuko says, with a plain tone, “Don’t underestimate the power that I, now, hold.” Yuuko then says, glaring at Sailor Moon, “Your time will come soon enough. Yours and Suguha’s.” Yuuko then teleports away, leaving a stunned group in her wake.

 

Keiko asks, nervously, “W-What was that?”

 

Tai says, plainly, “Something dangerous, Keiko.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “Exceptionally so, Tai. I fear that Yuuko is diving into powers that could destroy us all.”

 

Yolei says, with a solemn sigh, “That doesn’t surprise me.”

 

Sailor Sun says, nervously, “That creature…I never felt such a sinister power…”

 

Davis asks Sailor Sun, “That bad?”

 

Sailor Sun says, with a nervous nod, “Really bad, Dai-kun. It felt that it rivaled the Egyptian God Monsters.”

 

Rika says, shocked, “Whoa! No way!”

 

Sailor Uranus says, with a plain tone, “I fear that Kari is right, Rika.” While Tuxedo Mask goes over to Sailor Moon to help her up her feet, Sailor Jupiter, rubbing her jaw, flies back down to the others.

 

Sailor Mars says, “We had better get out there and help with the damage.” Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement and immediately, our heroes and heroines start to head off to help the people of Juuban ‘clean up’ in the aftermath of the deadly Shadow Duel between Jadeite and Sailor Moon. What they don’t know is that they were being watched by some kind of UVA

 

May 25, 2026, ALO, New Aincrad, Floor 4, Rovia

 

Back in ALO, Menma and Leafa are stepping out of a gondola and back onto the area containing the teleport gate.

 

Menma tells Leafa, “I’m glad that we had that nice talk.”

 

Leafa says, with a nod, “Yeah, it was nice.”

 

Menma says, with a grin, “I know that you like ALO and all, but I hope that you would join me in other VRMMO worlds. They may not have the awesome flying of this place, but they are a blast, believe it.”

 

Leafa says, with a smile, “Personally, I prefer the flying, but I’ll think about it.”

 

Menma says, bringing out his player menu, “Take your time. Later.” Menma then uses his player menu to log out in which he vanishes in a flash of light. Leafa can’t help to crack smile and she start to walk off, but she then gets a feeling and looks around, Leafa then shrugs her shoulders and her wings come out of her back in which she takes flight into the sky. Some distance away, we find Asuna, Kirito, and Yui watching over her with Asuna having a concerned look on her face.

 

May 25, 2026, Neo Paradius headquarters

 

Within Neo Paradius headquarters, Heartland is with Yuuko as she is looking at something.

 

Heartland says, “My, she figured out a way to break your spell card without those pesky dragons.”

 

Yuuko says, “It doesn’t matter. My goal is nearly done. The time for the climax of this war will soon be upon us.”

 

Heartland says, with a wide sly grin, “I can’t wait, Yuuko-sama.”

 

Yuuko says, plainly, “I’m sure that you are restless, Heartland.” As we focus on what Yuuko is looking at, we find ourselves looking at a pedestal with two cards on some kind of alter: A Synchro Monster card and what looks like Pendulum Monster card.

 

May 25, 2026, Tokyo

 

Deep within Tokyo’s underground, Camula, Vlad, and Myotismon are in a high-tech facility as Camula and Vlad look at the setting sun via a large television screen.

 

Camula says, with an evil smile, “Darling, it will be soon time.”

 

Vlad says, “Yes, indeed, Camula. Yes, indeed.”

 

Myotismon says, “Those foolish humans won’t know what hit them.”

 

Vlad says, “You are correct, my friend. You are so correct.” In the pitch-black darkness behind the two vampires and one vampire Digimon, there is nothing, but then a set of glowing blood red eyes appears in which dozens more then also appear as well.

Well, it looks like someone else is about to make their move. Now, you may have some ‘problem’ with what happened in the duel between Serena/Sailor Moon and Jadeite with the Seal of Orichalcos being fueled by a ‘dark mystical power’ and all. I would like to make clear as stated in this chapter, there is a difference between ‘destroying’ and ‘banishing’ in Duel Monsters terminology. Destroying a card sends it to the ‘graveyard’ and ‘banishing’ is removing a card from play, which is removing it from the ‘dueling field’ completely! The ‘graveyard’ is still ‘in play’ and also, as a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, I read the terminology of the Seal of Orichalcos, the playable and anime versions, in which they mention ONLY ‘destruction’ and not ‘REMOVAL’ from play. And with Yu-Gi-Oh, this ‘mystical stuff’ tends to be quite LITERAL, if you get my meaning. So, Sailor Moon got rid of the Seal of Orichalcos WITHOUT the Legendary Dragons by BANISHING it and the Seal of Orichalcos’ effect only protects against DESTROYING the card in which, in the anime, there was NO attempt to BANISH the card and with these kind of factors, I think that it is safe to say that you can use this move against this card.
