Personally,
I think that plenty of you would I forget about Kaiba…at
least to the very end of the story, right? However, you are going
to need to think again, folks. I’m going to do my best to
make sure that there aren’t any ‘plot holes’ in
this story, everyone. Trust me on that one. It won’t be
perfect, but I will try my best. Now, let’s see what happens
next. Before I start this chapter, I would like to give thanks and
credit to Belletiger and Kanius and Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon

Invasion of the Rajita

II: SAO Shippuden
(Sword Art Online II music ‘Courage’
starts)
As the intro
starts, we see images of swords go by and reflected on the blades
of the swords are images of Suguha and Leafa with the final
reflection from the blades of the sword are Rika, Lisbeth, SAO and
ALO forms, Keiko, Silica, SAO and ALO forms, Shion, Sinon, GGO and
ALO forms, Kotone, Philia, SAO/SAW and ALO forms, Hiyori, Kuro, and
Lux.
The next
shows Princess Selene then turning into a toddler Suguha Kirigaya,
who then ‘ages’ into a 13-year-old Suguha Kirigaya,
warping into Suguha Kirigaya of 15-16 years of age, then into
Eternal Sailor Celestial, and finally, into Valkyrie Sailor
Celestial. As Valkyrie Sailor Celestial turns to the skies to see
some unseen sight, Rika, Keiko, Shion/Sailor Orion, Kotone, and
Hiyori appear behind her.
Just then it
turns into images of Ancient Egypt of Atem’s time, Atlantis,
the original Domino City, Neo Domino City, and ALO before we see
Suguha Kirigaya looking at a ‘shooting star’ before she
transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial before facing an unknown
figure that uses the Seal of Orichalcos that surrounds her and her
enemy.
Next,
Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze are seen in
two separate images which change where Suguha, then Leafa, and
finally, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial are using their kendo/sword
techniques. Just then Rika/Lisbeth, Keiko/Silica,
Shion/Sinon/Sailor Orion, Kotone/Philia, and Hiyori/Lux are seen
before we see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, using her sword
techniques, is joined by Naruto, using his famous Shadow Clones and
Rasengan, in this
‘fight demonstration’.
Then we find
Valkyrie Sailor Moon walking slowly forward until she is face to
face with Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them stare at
each other before Valkyrie Sailor Celestial brings out Odd-Eyes
Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon
(2500/2000) with Valkyrie Sailor Moon brings out Odd-Eyes Phantom
Dragon (2500/2000) and Clearwing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) in which
they go into an epic clash with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Valkyrie
Sailor Celestial clashing blades themselves.
The scene
changes to Davis and Kazuto, looking a lot like his SAO avatar of
Kirito, facing off against Naruto with Naruto bring out Red Nova
Dragon (3500/3000) and Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon (3000/2500)
while Kazuto brings out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity
(4000/3500) and Davis brings out Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500)
along with the other Signer and Duel Dragons in which they launch
into an epic titanic fight.
Just then we
see Sailor Celestial, Sailor Orion, Lisbeth, Silica, Philia, and
Lux engaged by a legion of opponents including monsters from ALO
and Duel Monsters which they fight and defeat, but then a
mysterious figure brings out the Divine Serpent used by Dartz, but
Sailor Celestial, Lisbeth, and Silica bring out the three Legendary
Dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, and they transform into
their true forms: The Legendary Knights of Atlantis where they
defeat the Divine Serpent.
Naruto and
Sailor Celestial are back to back surrounded by Sakura, Hinata,
Rika, Keiko, Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori as a powerful circle
brings for the three Aesir, Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as the
three Egyptian God Monsters: Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in which all
of them unleash an incredible attack creating a massive bright
light. From that light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) emerges
along with the Crimson Dragon.
The scene
then switches to images of Yugi Moto, Pharaoh Atem, Seto Kaiba,
Joey Wheeler, Dartz, and more before switching to our heroes and
heroines with images of Neo Domino City, Aincrad/SAO, ALO, the
Elemental Countries including the Leaf Village, and more as images
of Suguha and Naruto from childhood into their current years are
seen before Suguha turns into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two
of them look into the distance.
Finally, we
have different scenes where we see Naruto training and mastering
the Rasengan, Leafa
flying through the virtual skies of ALO, Serena becoming Sailor
Moon for the first time, and leading to a scene with all of our
heroes and heroines, joined by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, racing
towards some kind of unknown destination in which it finally stop
at all of them assembled together flanked by Earth, Atlantis, and
the Leaf Village in the background along with the Legendary
Dragons/Knights, the Signer and Duel Dragons, the Aesir, and
Egyptian God Monsters.

Arc
III: Chapter 23: Dark Double Trouble
May 27, 2026, Japan, Kyoto
Prefecture, Aincrad
Within the rebuilt virtual ‘death
castle’, Aincrad, which is now restored in the physical or
‘real’ world, Yuuko is watching the unfolding drama as
Heartland is confronting our heroes and heroines.
Yuuko says, “You really believe that I
don’t know what you are really planning, Heartland-san? I am
far from a fool.”
Kana’s voice booms out, “If you
say so.” Yuuko turns to the source of the voice to see Kana
looking towards her.
Yuuko tells Kana, “So, you have finally
made your move?”
Kana asks Yuuko, “You knew?”
Yuuko tells Kana, “I told you that
I’m far from a fool.”
Kana responds, with a nod, “Yes, you
aren’t a fool. However, it doesn’t mean that you
can’t be fooled.”
Yuuko asks, in a mock curious tone,
“Oh?” Kana doesn’t say a word, but she then
starts to glow and explodes right in front of Yuuko causing Yuuko
to be seemly engulfed by the massive explosion.
(Elsewhere on Aincrad; Shortly
thereafter)
Back with our heroes and heroines, joined by
Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata with the female ninja of our
heroes’ and heroines’ world, the former Signers, and
Yugi and his friends from the past, they are staring down Heartland
until they hear and feel the explosion.
Yolei asks, confused, “What was
that?”
Yumi says, “Oh my. I think that one of
the ‘third parties’ have just made their
mood.”
Sailor Jupiter asks, “What’s that
supposed to mean?”
Heartland says, with an evil smile, “It
means that someone else just did your job for you and they have
blown Lady Yuuko up.”
There are gasps causing Rika to yell out,
surprised, “Say what?”
Yomi says, with a sly smile, “I guess
that someone here hired shinobi from our former school to take care
of business here.”
Homura says, with a nod, “And with a
mission of this size, I’m betting that you-know-who was
involved, and Mui is right behind her.”
Asuka asks Homura, “Are you sure,
Homura?”
Yagyu says, with a nod, “It makes
sense.”
Tai asks, “Can you help those that
don’t speak shinobi?”
Sakura responds, “They are talking about
the Crimson Squad’s former school, Hebijo Academy, the
so-called ‘evil ninja school’. Someone hired shinobi
from them and didn’t say a crap to Yuuko.”
Ikaruga says, “Most likely because they
wanted to use them to assassinate her.”
Sailor Celestial says, with a sigh,
“Like that’s going to happen.” Everyone looks at
Sailor Celestial and she says, “Remember what we have been
talking about, this Genesis Omega Dragon has reality-altering
powers and levels of power similar to mine, so, I am freaking
doubtful that a simple bomb is going to take her out.”
Sailor Uranus says, with a nod,
“I’m going to have to agree here. More likely, it could
finally piss her off.” Heartland’s right eye twitches,
but his twisted smile doesn’t leave him.
Heartland says, with an evil smile,
“Then it is time that I get to work.” Just then
Heartland gains a sickly white glow and he creates a
‘projection’ of a hand that shoots off towards Davis
and Sailor Sun.
Davis yells out, pushing Sailor Sun out of the
way, “Watch out!” Just after Davis pushes Sailor Sun
out of the way, he yelps as the ‘hand projection’ goes
into his body.
Sailor Sun says, worriedly,
“Dai-kun!”
Ken and Veemon say in unison, shocked,
“Davis!”
Heartland says, with an evil smirk,
“Now, let’s see what secrets you are holding.”
Davis groans out as Heartland tries to draw ‘something’
out of Davis.
Tai shouts out, “Hey! Let him
go!”
Heartland responds, with an evil sly smile,
“You had better not. If anything interrupts the connection,
you could destroy us both and you don’t want to destroy your
little friend, do you?”
This causes the others to hesitate and Tuxedo
Mask yells out, “Mercury!”
Sailor Mercury says, using her computer and
scanner, “I’m scanning now!” As
‘energy’ starts to leave Davis, Davis starts to fight
back as ‘images’ flash through his mind causing his
crests to glow and his sun sigil to appear on his forehead as
Sailor Mars, Sailor Uranus, and others who have ‘sensory
powers’ that are similar to the two Sailor Scouts then
‘feel’ powerful ‘energies’ coming from
Davis.
Davis yells out, in a powerful voice,
“Let…me…go…NOW!!!” Davis unleashes
a powerful golden, sparkling crimson red/flaming red, and dark
violet aura causing Heartland to gasp as ‘images’ of
powerful dragons looming over him flash in his mind causing him to
scream as the ‘energy stream’ disconnects from Davis
causing him to fall down on his buttocks while an ‘orb of
energy’ goes into Heartland’s right hand where he
stumbles back a foot or two.
Everyone else rushes towards Davis and Sailor
Sun asks, nervously, “Dai-kun, are you okay?”
Davis responds, with a grunt and sarcastic
tone, “Peachy, Kari-chan.” Davis struggles back to his
feet while Heartland looks at the ‘orb of light’ that
came from Davis into his hand in which they take the form of two
XYZ monster cards causing him to laugh sadistic and sinisterly.
TK asks, seriously, “What did you do to
him?”
Heartland responds, “Just took a sample
of his power…and I was right about this brat! It is no
wonder that you are ‘connected’ to Kirigaya-san at the
hip!”
Sailor Celestial asks, curiously, “What
do you mean?”
Heartland says, with a sinister smile,
“Simple, my dear. You have Etherion, the very
‘fuel’ of creation, or in ‘other terms’,
the very raw materials for everything that exists. However, call
your universe a book per say. You, my dear, provide the ink and
other ‘materials’ for the book, but this guy provides
the ‘structure’ of the book and forms the
‘story’ of the universe.”
Sailor Jupiter asks, confused,
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
Just then a familiar male voice says,
“He is talking about the Numeron Code.” Everyone looks
to the source to find Kite entering the arena and he says,
“In the universe where Heartland and I come from, our
universe was created by a being known as Numeron Dragon where he
shed a tear to create life to make sure that it wasn’t alone
in the void anymore. The Numeron Code is a powerful card that
records everything that is and was in the universe in which it has
the power to decide the fate of reality in our universe.”
Cody asks, realizing something, “Wait!
Are you saying…?”
Kite says, pointing to Davis,
“That’s right. I realize it now. Your friend there is
the Numeron Code and Numeron Dragon of your universe. He is
basically your universe given physical form.”
There are gasps of shock and Davis asks,
stunned and shocked, “I’m WHAT now?!”
Heartland says, with a sly smirk,
“I’m not sure about Numeron Code, but yes, he is the
Numeron Dragon of this universe.” Heartland says, looking at
Sailor Celestial, “However, it doesn’t mean that he is
more powerful than you, my dear. Remember, Etherion is the
‘source’ of EVERYTHING including Numeron Dragon and the
Numeron Code. In fact, all ‘reality changing objects and
items’ are ‘fueled’ by, in one form or another,
Etherion. You are OMNIVERSE-level in potential my dear.”
Kite says, with a sneer, “A potential
that you won’t get even a finger on when I’m done with
you, Heartland. But right now, you are going to give back that
guy’s Numbers that you stole from him.”
Davis asks, with a grunt, “MY
Numbers?”
Kite responds, plainly, “Yeah, genius.
Those are YOUR Numbers. They are a part of you, your power, and
your being. And if someone like Heartland gets even a sample of
your power, my universe and yours will be in great danger.
I’m not going to let that happen. Don’t get me wrong. I
don’t do this from the ‘goodness of my heart’.
All I care about is protecting the peace of my universe that won
after much struggle and I will do whatever it takes to protect it
especially my family.” Kite says, looking at Davis and the
others, “Even if it means that the rest of you take the
‘fall’.”
Rika says, sarcastically, “Yeah, we got
that.”
Tai says, annoyed, “No freaking
kidding.”
Kite tells Heartland, glaring at him,
“So, please resist Heartland, I would be glad to beat you
into a pulp!”
Heartland then displays dark rosy red and pink
Real Solid Vision duel disk, activates it, puts the new XYZ monster
cards into his disk’s Extra Deck slot/zone, and he says,
“Oh, I’m sure going to resist, Kite. But I won’t
do it alone.” Just then a ‘dark portal’ appears
at Ken’s feet and he yelps as he drops into the portal.
Wormmon and Yolei shout out in unison,
shocked, “Ken!” Just then another ‘dark
portal’ appears above and to the left of Heartland in which
Ken, trapped in a dark violet force-field ‘bubble’,
appears from the ‘dark portal’.
Davis shouts out, strongly, “Let him
go!”
Heartland says, with a sinister smile,
“But I need him to bring the next actor necessary for this
show.” Just then Ken yells out as he seems to get shocked by
dark red and violet lightning in which a dark violet and black
‘sludge’ comes from his form.
Sailor Venus asks, “What is
that?”
Sailor Mars says, “I don’t know,
but I sense an immense darkness.” The ‘sludge’
comes together in which Heartland then takes out an ‘black
orb’ and throws into the ‘sludge’ causing it to
glow with dark violet markings in which Ken grunts out in pain.
Yolei shouts out, horrified, “What are
you doing to him?”
Heartland retorts, “Maybe you should ask
what I’m taking from him?” The ‘sludge’
then takes humanoid form and ‘morphs’ into the form of
Ken as the Digimon Emperor.
Matt asks, confused, “What
the?”
Tai says, “That’s not
Ken!”
The Digimon Emperor responds, in Ken’s
voice, “That’s right! I’m not my pathetic
‘weak half’. I’m the Digimon Emperor!”
The Digimon Emperor gives off the same laugh
as Ken did when he was the Digimon Emperor and Sailor Mercury says,
“He must be Ken’s ‘dark half’, created from
the darkness during his time under the control of the Dark
Spore.”
Heartland says, with an evil smile,
“Exactly! I just brought it out into the open and I also made
him a Dark Signer as well!” Heartland says, looking at the
‘real’ Ken, “Through it is draining the
life-force from the original and he’ll die within a short
time.”
Davis yells out, strongly, “Not
happening!”
Digimon Emperor responds, with a sinister
smile, “You are going to have to beat me first,
Motomiya!” Digimon Emperor then gains Dark Signer style
markings and the Mark of the Giant appears around his lower right
arm.
Yusei says, seriously, “That’s the
Mark of the Giant! He is a Dark Signer!”
Heartland says, with a sinister smile,
“Indeed! And he won’t be alone! How about we have a
double duel? This guy’s ‘dark side’ and me versus
Kite and the person where I got my new cards from.”
Kite says, “I can beat you by myself,
Heartland!”
Davis says, “Hey! He has got my pal up
there! I’m not going to abandon him!”
Kite tells Davis, “Hey, genius! He just
wants to get the rest of your power!”
Davis says, bringing out his duel disk from
his sub-space pocket, “Doesn’t matter! I don’t
abandon my friends for any reason!” Davis then attaches his
duel disk to his left wrist and inserts his dueling deck
inside.
Kite says, with a plain tone, “Just
don’t get in the way.” Davis glares at Kite as both of
them activate their duel disks.
Sailor Sun says, plainly, “Dai-kun,
wait!”
Yolei tells Sailor Sun, “Don’t
bother, Kari.”
Kazuto tells Sailor Sun, “You know how
he is.”
Rika tells Kazuto, with a smirk,
“Personal experience?” Kazuto gives an annoyed look at
Rika, who just smirks in response.
Heartland says, excitedly, “Oh, this is
going to be a good show!”
Kite says, “Your FINAL show, Heartland!
It is time for your certain call!”
Heartland retorts, tauntingly, “Wow,
Kite. You must have ‘mellowed out’ since you learned
some jokes!” Heartland and Digimon Emperor activate their
duel disks with all four duelists’ disks gain their
‘energy blades’ containing their Monster and Pendulum
Zones as their disks also shuffle their decks. When their decks are
shuffled, the touch screens display 8000 life-point for each tag
team in which Heartland says, “I think that you know the
rules. Both duelists have combined eight thousand life-points and
each team shares a graveyard as well as cards on the field, but
they can’t share cards in their hands unless due to a card
effect.”
Davis says, looking at Kite,
“Yeah…don’t see that happen.”
Kite says, “Let’s get this over
with.”
Heartland says, with an evil smile, “Oh,
we will, Kite!”
Digimon Emperor says, annoyed, “Cut out
the antics! Let’s crush these dorks already!”
Heartland says, with a grin,
“Aren’t you an eager beaver? As you wish.”
Davis looks up Ken, who is looking very pale,
and Yolei says, worriedly, “Ken…”
TK tells Yolei, “Davis won’t let
us down. Ken is his best friend after all.”
Matt says, “Davis, I can trust.”
Matt then says, pointing to Kite, “That guy? Not so
much.”
Sailor Mercury says, using her computer and
visor, “This isn’t good. Ken’s life-force is
getting weaker and weaker. The extraction of his ‘dark
side’ and ‘infusing’ with an Earthbound Immortal
is weakening his life-force more and more. He doesn’t have
much time.”
Sailor Uranus says, plainly, “Then they
need to work fast.”
“Game on!” Davis, Kite, Heartland,
and Digimon Emperor say in unison as their duel begins.
(Elsewhere in Aincrad; on the
meanwhile)
Within another part of Aincrad, Seto Kaiba
emerges from a ‘dark gateway’ that closes behind him,
and he looks around to find himself in a high-tech lab with large
capsules capable of containing people inside.
Kaiba asks, “What in the
world?”
Just then a familiar male voice says,
“Just a little ‘side project’ that my former host
had on the table, Mister Kaiba.” Kaiba turns to the source of
the voice to see the hooded cloaked figure that kidnapped Mokuba in
front of him.
Kaiba yells out, “You! Where is
Mokuba?”
The hooded cloaked figure says, pointing to a
capsule, “Why he is right over there.” Kaiba looks and
he gasps to see Mokuba, seemly unconscious, within one of the
capsules.
Kaiba says, stunned, “Mokuba!”
The hooded cloaked figure says, “I
wouldn’t try anything. If you try to open the capsule without
certain codes, there might be an ‘accident’.”
Kaiba responds, with a snarl, “If
anything happens to him, there will be an
‘accident’…to your face! Do you know who you are
dealing with?”
The hooded cloaked figure responds, “Oh,
I know all too well. You and I know each other all too, Mister
Kaiba.” The hooded cloaked figure then throws off the cloak
to reveal none other than Leichter, former right hand of Seto Kaiba
and his stepfather, Gozaburo Kaiba.
Kaiba says, with a sneer,
“Leichter!”
Leichter says, with a wicked smile,
“Hello, Mister Kaiba. It is good to see you again.”
Kaiba responds, “I missed you like a
miss an ulcer, Leichter. How come you are here? Are we in another
virtual world?”
Leichter says, “I can assure you that
this is the real world, but funny you should mention that since we
are in a time that has done what you failed to do.”
Kaiba asks, “And what’s that? And
what do you mean by ‘this time’?” Kaiba then
remembers what happened when he was held captive and he says,
“Wait! I remember!”
Leichter responds, with a nod,
“That’s right, Mister Kaiba. Welcome to the year
Twenty-Twenty-Six! Welcome to the future! And what I mean is that
this time has perfected Full-Dive VR technology that goes to the
mass when you didn’t!”
Kaiba says, with a sneer, “Only because
you tampered with my game’s program! After we beat your ass
and trapped you stupid little minds in here, I had to give up on
the project since you and your Big Five traitorous morons had
messed around with it causing the game to become completely
corrupted and I had no time to rebuilt it from scratch with dealing
with Battle City to nutjobs like Siegfried and Dartz! I would have
brought gaming into a new age if it wasn’t for
you!”
Leichter says, “I have to admit,
learning about this time, you have a real point. I also figured
that Full-Dive VR had many other applications other than just
games, Kaiba. They have developed ways to use it for medical
applications.” Leichter says, “But I digress. That was
then and this is now. I intend to change history.”
Kaiba retorts, “Oh, really?’
Leichter says, “Oh, yes. You leave quite
a legacy for the world especially for Duel Monsters and then some.
However, it is a future that intends to be changed.”
Kaiba responds, with a sly smirk, “From
what I remember, that little girl doesn’t want anything
happen to her history since I am so important to this
future.”
Leichter says, with a sinister smile,
“Well, she isn’t important anymore since she just got
herself ‘blown away’ so to speak and especially, after
the failures of two of my associates in the Big Five to defeat her
enemies…”
Kaiba retorts, with a wide grin and
interrupting Leichter, “Which isn’t surprising since
you are such incompetent fools.”
Leichter says, with a sneer, “I would
watch what you say, Kaiba. Your brother is in my hands.”
Kaiba says, “Not for long. You are going
to let him go or you are going to regret somehow ‘coming back
to life’ with that body. I don’t know how you got that
body since last time that I checked, you didn’t have which is
why you attempted to take mine.”
Leichter says, with an evil smile, “The
little lady knows her way to get her hands on some good technology.
This time recently had ‘visitors from another world’
and if you think aliens, you may not be too far off,
Kaiba.”
Kaiba asks, with a curious quirk of his
eyebrow and angered sneer, “And what’s that supposed to
mean?”
Leichter says, “That’s not
important. Anyway, this body seems to be flesh and blood, but it
isn’t.” Leichter then displays his left arm and it
‘transforms’ into a metallic version of his left arm
with a metallic silver ‘shine’ to it.
Kaiba yells out, “What?”
Leichter says, with a grin as his arm returns
to ‘normal’, “A very convincing
‘replication’, Mister Kaiba. Nanobot technology of a
level beyond our time’s technology and this time’s
technology. A realistic ‘duplicate’, but one that fits
my purpose real nicely.”
Kaiba responds, “Heh. So, you are a
digital mind in a high-tech tin can? Think that impresses me? Ha!
You are going down just the same!”
Leichter then creates a Chaos Duel Disk from a
‘liquid silver metal’ and he says, with an evil smile,
“Oh, things are going to be different Kaiba.” Leichter
then inserts a dueling deck into the duel disk while Kaiba attaches
his duel disk to his left wrist while putting his deck into his
disk.
Kaiba says, looking at Leichter’s disk,
“Forgetting something? I’m not surprised that a mind
such as yours would forget to make a COMPLETE duel disk.”
Leichter retorts, “Oh, but that’s
where you are wrong, Kaiba.” Leichter activates the Chaos
Duel Disk and the ‘energy blade’ that contains the
Monster and Pendulum Zones appears much to Kaiba’s
surprise.
Kaiba asks, surprised, “What/” Leichter says, with a sinister smile, “You like, Mister Kaiba? This time has perfected your duel disk technology to a new level. This ‘blade’ is basically a Real Solid Vision hologram given physical mass.” Kaiba says, shocked, “Real Solid Vision with physical mass? That’s…!!” Leichter says, “In our time, maybe, but in this time? That’s a different story! And to let you know, it wasn’t you or your company that developed this technology! It was another genius of this time that also created Full-Dive VR technology that this time uses today!” Kaiba says, “Really? I might have my own opinion on that.” Leichter says, “Don’t bother. You won’t get the chance especially once history has changed and you and your future family are gone.” Kaiba asks, “My future family?” Leichter says, “Yes. It seems that somehow, Mokuba, and you, somehow, have descendants! Well, that’s about to change!” Kaiba yells out, strongly, “We’ll see, Leichter!” Kaiba activates his duel disk, Leichter’s Chaos Duel Disk shuffles his deck, and Kaiba says, “Automatic deck shuffler. Something tells me that I have that upgrade down.” Leichter says, plainly, “Not for long.” Kaiba says, “That’s something yet to be decided, Leichter! Now, let’s do this!” Leichter tells Kaiba, “Hold on, Mister Kaiba. There is just one more thing. This will be like our last duel. A Deck Master duel and first, we must choose our Deck Masters. I already have mine chosen.” Just then Jinzo (2400/1500) appears by Leichter’s right side. Kaiba says, annoyed, “Why aren’t I surprised by this? You have to play with ‘low blows’ to even have a chance to win. Don’t you remember what happened last time? Even with Jinzo as your Deck Master, making me unable to use traps, I still beat you!” Leichter says, “As I have been saying before, this time will be different! Now, choose your Deck Master!” Kaiba responds, “Kaiser Sea Horse!” Kaiser Sea Horse (1700/1650) then appears by Kaiba’s right side in which he and Leichter draw five cards from their respective decks as the touch screen of Leichter’s disk and the life-point counter of Kaiba’s disk display 4000 life-points. “Let’s duel!” Kaiba and Leichter say in unison as their duel is about to start. Starting Scores: Kaiba: 4000 Leichter: 4000 As the two of them prepared to start their duel, they don’t notice that someone else is in the room and watching them carefully as this person carefully sneaks around through maybe this person in shadows doesn’t know that there are even more figures in the shadows of this room as well. (Back with our heroes and heroines; on the meanwhile) Returning with our heroes and heroines, Davis and Kite prepare for their tag duel against Heartland and the ‘manifestation’ of Ken’s ‘darkness’ of when he was under the influence of the Dark Spore: The Digimon Emperor, who has been turned into a Dark Signer, somehow. Digimon Emperor says, as the Dark Signer Mark of the Giant glows on his right arm, “Now, let’s get this started!” Just then the whole of Aincrad shakes as massive dark violet flames, taking the form of the Giant Nazca Line, appear around everyone. Davis yells out, “Let’s do this!” Starting Scores: Davis and Kite: 8000 Heartland and Digimon Emperor: 8000 Davis says, drawing a card, “My turn! I draw!” Davis displays Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior (1500/1500) and Dragonox, the Empowered Warrior (1500/1500) Pendulum Monster cards causing him to say, “I take scale two, Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior, and scale seven, Dragonox, the Empowered Warrior, and set the Pendulum Scale!” Davis puts the card on his disk’s Pendulum Zones causing his disk’s Monster Card Zones to glow with the word ‘Pendulum’ in rainbow colors as the two monsters appear on the field in two columns of light, one monster per column. There is the number 2 below Dragodies and the number 7 below Dragonox causing Davis to shout out, “Now, I can summon monsters that are levels three through six this turn! Now, swing Pendulum! Create the gate to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Davis puts two cards on his disk, and he yells out, putting two cards on his disk, “Baby Dragon and Debris Dragon! Time to fly in!” A circle of light appears on the field, two ‘lights’ come from the circle, and those ‘lights’ are revealed to be Baby Dragon (1200/700) and Debris Dragon (1000/2000) in attack mode. Mai says, shocked, “Whoa! I heard about these new types of summoning in this ‘future world’ from you-know-who. But, seeing is believing.” Joey says, with a nod, “No joke, Mai.” Davis then says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Tuningware in attack mode!” Soon after, Tuningware (100/300) appears on the field in attack mode in which Davis says, “I tune Debris Dragon with Baby Dragon and Tuningware!” Debris Dragon turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Baby Dragon and Tuningware, turning them transparent, and a column of light appears when Davis takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck. Davis shouts out, “Clustering hopes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk, and he shouts out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Davis then says, drawing a card, “Since Tuningware was used for a Synchro Summon, I get one new card!” Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot, “Then I throw down a couple of face-downs and call it a turn!” Heartland says, drawing a card, “It’s time for the show! My turn! I draw!” Heartland says, putting one card into the Field Spell slot of his disk, “For the first act, I play my Toon Kingdom Field Spell!” There are gasps of shock from Yugi, Joey, Mai, Tristan, and Sailor Venus as a giant kid’s pop-up book appears behind Heartland, opens up, and what looks like a toy castle playset comes out. Kite asks, surprised, “What the?” Heartland says, with a sly grin, “Surprised, Kite? I’m just setting the stage for the show…of your demise! However, it comes with a cost of the top three cards in my deck getting removed from play, but it is a price that I’m willing to pay!” Just then the top three cards in Heartland’s deck ‘vanishes’ as they are removed from play. Joey says, “That looks similar to Pegasus’ Toon World spell!” Sailor Venus says, “It is! It is a Field Spell special for Toon monsters! I should know since I have a Toon deck!” Yugi, Joey, Tristan, Mai, and Duke look at Sailor Venus and Duke asks, “You have the deck of Maxamillion Pegasus?!” Sailor Venus says, with a proud smile, “Yep! I won it in an Industrial Illusions tournament where the prize was a duplicate of Pegasus’ Toon deck!” Sailor Jupiter says, with a grin, “And she knows how to use it!” Sailor Uranus says, plainly, “Annoyingly enough.” Sailor Venus gives a grin and Tai says, plainly, “Well, it looks like Davis is facing it now.” Matt says, “Hopefully, knowing Venus’ Toon deck might help him.” Cody tells Matt, “Don’t be so sure. This guy must have a different tactic than Venus since he has cards that he took from Davis…in a way.” Heartland says, putting one card on his disk, “Since you have a monster and I don’t, I can play my Toon Cyber Dragon in attack mode!” Toon Cyber Dragon (2100/1600) appears on the field in attack mode. Joey says, amazed and with a nervous tone, “That’s new.” Yugi says, “Venus-san is right. Pegasus’ Toon monsters have ‘evolved’ from the ones that we know of.” Sailor Venus says, nervously, “More than you think, Yugi.” Heartland then says, putting one card on his disk, “And since Toon Kingdom counts as Toon World, I can play my Toon Mermaid in attack mode!” Just then Toon Mermaid (1400/1500) appears on the field in attack mode and Heartland says, putting one card on his disk, “And now, for this heart breaking and heart racing show, I release both Toon Cyber Dragon and Toon Mermaid to play this little guy! Red-Eyes Toon Dragon!” There are gasps of shock and Joey yells out, flabbergasted, “WHAT?!” Toon Cyber Dragon and Toon Mermaid vanish from the field in which Red-Eyes Toon Dragon (2400/2000) emerges from Toon Kingdom in attack mode. Joey screams out, horrified, “NO! THAT FUCKING PEGASUS TURNED MY AWESOME RED-EYES INTO A TOON?! THAT’S HORRIBLE!!!” Joey, in classic anime/cartoon manner, curls into a fetal position causing plenty of the others to give sweat drops at his actions. Mai asks, annoyed, “Seriously, Joey?” Duke says, with a sigh, “Now, Joey knows how Kaiba felt when Pegasus turned his Blue-Eyes into a toon monster.” Heartland says, putting one more card on his disk, “If you liked that, then you are going to love this! I use Red-Eyes Toon Dragon’s ability and summon another Toon monster from my hand! And I choose this little guy: Toon Dark Magician!” There are looks of shock from Yugi and his friends/allies as Toon Dark Magician (2500/2100) ‘pops’ out of Toon Kingdom in attack mode. Serenity says, with a smile, “Wow, it is really cute.” Tristan says, nervously, “Yeah.” Joey says, annoyed, “Oh, geez. Now, Yugi’s Dark Magician, too.” Sailor Venus says, nervously, “Well, Pegasus said that he created those cards in honor of you since you, two, were among his top favorite duelists.” Joey says, annoyed, “Well, I could do without being his favorite, thank you.” Heartland says, discarding one card, “Now, I use my Toon Dark Magician’s ability! By sending one Toon monster from my hand to the grave, I can add one Toon spell or trap card from my deck to my hand!” A card comes out of Heartland’s deck and Heartland says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I end this scene by placing one card face-down and end my turn.” Kite says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Kite says, putting one card on his disk, “Since I have no monsters, I can special summon Photon Thrasher in attack mode!” Photon Thrasher (2100/0) then appears on the field in attack mode causing Kite to say, putting another card on his disk, “And with that, due to another Photon monster being already on the field, I can play my Photon Advancer!” Photon Advancer (1000/1000-2000/1000) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, “Since there is another Photon monster on the field other than itself, Photon Advancer gains one thousand attack points!” Kite then puts another card on his disk, and he says, “And when I have other Photon or Galaxy monsters on my field, I can play Photon Vanisher as well!” Photon Vanisher (2000/0) appears on the field in attack mode causing Kite to say, as a card comes out of his disk, “Since Vanisher had been successfully summoned, I can add a certain monster from my deck to my hand!” Kite then yells out, “Then I Overlay Photon Thrasher, Photon Advancer, and Photon Vanisher to build the Overlay Network!” The three monsters turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground as Kite puts the three monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone of his disk where he then puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of them causing Kite to say, “I XYZ Summon Number Ten: Illumiknight!” Out of the vortex, Number 10: Illumiknight (2400/2400) with three Light Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode. Kite says, “I activate Illumiknight’s ability! By removing an Overlay Unit and discarding a card, I can draw a new card from my deck!” Illumiknight absorbs one of its Overlay Units and Kite discards a card in which he draws a new card from his deck. Kite then says, drawing two new cards from his deck, “The card that I discarded was Card of Compensation! That means that I get two new cards!” Kite says, putting one more card on his disk, “Since there a face-up XYZ Monster on the field, I can special summon Photon Slasher in defense mode!” Photon Slasher (2100/1000) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, “And then I play Galaxy Dragon as well!” Galaxy Dragon (2000/1200) then appears on the field in attack mode causing Kite to say, putting one card on his disk, “Then I release both my Photon Slasher and my Galaxy Dragon!” Photon Slasher and Galaxy Dragon vanish from the field as a familiar ‘shuriken’ appears on the field and Kite shouts out, “It is a monster that’s more powerful than a supernova that will shatter stars and planets to cut you down to oblivion! Come forth, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!” The ‘shuriken’ then ‘explodes’ in a flash of light and Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode. Heartland says, with a smirk, “You haven’t changed a bit!” Kite says, “If you think that you snake, then you are really blind! I’m far stronger than before, but you are going to find that out soon enough!” Kite says, putting two cards into the main slot, “I place two cards face-down and call it a turn!” Digimon Emperor says, drawing a card, “It’s about time! My turn! I draw!” Digimon Emperor says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Now, I start off with Dark Fusion!” Davis’ eyes widen as he feels a ‘throb’ in his chest and Digimon Emperor says, discarding two cards from his hand, “With it, I Dark Fuse both Elemental Heroes Avian and Burstinatrix together!” Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) appears on the field and they go into a dark fusion vortex where the Digimon Emperor then puts a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck on his duel disk causing him to scream out, “Come forth, Evil Hero Inferno Wing!” Out of dark fusion vortex, Evil Hero Inferno Wing (2100/1200) appears on the field in attack mode. Mimi says, nervously, “Scary.” TK says, with a plain tone, “Nasty too. It is like a corrupted form of Davis’ Elemental Heroes.” Digimon Emperor says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I summon Infernity Beetle!” Infernity Beetle (1200/0) appears on the field in attack mode causing Digimon Emperor to declare, “I tune my Infernity Beetle with my Inferno Wing!” Infernity Beetle turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround Inferno Wing, turning it transparent, and when Digimon Emperor brings out a Synchro Monster from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing Digimon Emperor to say, “When the shadows are devoured by even darker shadows, it pulls back the curtain to reveal a world without light! Synchro Summon!” Digimon Emperor puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk causing him to shout out, “Come forth, Hundred-Eyed Dragon!” Out of the column, which turns from golden light to black darkness, Hundred-Eyed Dragon (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode. Yusei says, with a glare, “I remember that monster all too well. He must be waiting to use its ability.” Digimon Emperor says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “I place two cards face-down and end my turn!” Crow says, with a glare, “That seems kind of familiar.” Davis says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Davis says, “Stardust, attack Red-Eyes Toon Dragon! Go, Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes its attack right at Red-Eyes Toon Dragon. Heartland says, with an evil smile, “Did you forget? By banishing the top card of my deck, my little dragon is safe and sound!” After the top card of Heartland’s deck vanishes, Red-Eyes Toon Dragon, in classic cartoon fashion, bends down, and avoids the attack while Heartland just smirks as he and Digimon Emperor lose 100 life-points. Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Yeah, but now, I activate my Chaotic Draw! When a card is removed from play, I can activate this card and draw cards equal to the cards removed from play!” Davis draws four cards causing him to say, “However, I need to play an equal number of cards that I drew with this card by the end of this turn or I will suffer damage equal to five hundred times the cards that I drew!” Sailor Jupiter says, “Yikes! That’s a pretty risky card!” Sailor Sun says, with a smile, “But if anyone can make it work, Dai-kun can.” Tai says, with a nod, “Yeah, he tends to pull out miracles.” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot, “I activate my first card: Pot of Greed! That means two more cards for me!” Davis draw two cards from his deck causing him to say, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I activate my second card, Silent Doom! Now, I can revive one non-effect monster from my grave in defense mode! Time to play, Baby Dragon!” Baby Dragon (1200/700) reappears on the field in defense mode. Davis then says, discarding one card from his hand, “Then I use the effect of Defrag Dragon! By discarding one other monster in my hand, I can play this guy! That’s number three!” When Davis puts a card on his disk, Defrag Dragon (1000/600) then appears on the field in attack mode causing Davis to say, putting one more card on his disk, “Then I play Flamvell Guard in attack mode! And that’s number four!” Just then Flamvell Guard (100/2000) appears on the field in attack mode causing Davis to say, “I tune Flamvell Guard with Defrag Dragon and Baby Dragon!” Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Defrag Dragon and Baby Dragon, turning them transparent, and when a column of light appears on the field, Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck. Davis then says, “The great racer blazes into the future! Become the path that its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Davis then says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his Extra Deck on his disk, “Signal Warrior, rev it up!” Out of the light, Signal Warrior (2400/1000), what looks like a humanoid robot made from Yusei’s Duel Runner, appears on the field in attack mode. Leo says, shocked, “That robot looks like it is made from Yusei’s Duel Runner! Cool!” Davis says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I place one more card face-down and call it a turn!” Current Scores: Davis and Kite: 8000 Heartland and Digimon Emperor: 7900 Heartland says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Heartland then says, putting one card into the main slot, “I play Card of Sanctity! All of us must draw from our decks until we have six cards in our hands!” All four duelists then draw from their decks until they have half-a-dozen cards in their respective hands. Heartland then says, “Next, I activate Red-Eyes Toon Dragon’s ability! I can summon one Toon monster from my hand! And I choose Toon Gemini Elf!” Heartland then puts one card from his hand on his disk, and Toon Gemini Elf (1900/900) appears on the field in attack mode. Heartland says, putting another card on his disk, “Next, I play Toon Goblin Attack Force!” Just then Toon Goblin Attack Force (2300/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Heartland says, “And now, I Overlay Toon Gemini Elf and Toon Goblin Attack Force to build the Overlay Network!” Both said monsters turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while Heartland puts the two monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone on his disk with him then putting an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of them. Heartland yells out, “Time for a showstopper! I XYZ Summon Number Eighty-Two: Heartlanddraco!” Out of the vortex, Number 82: Heartlanddraco (2000/1500), a pink and white dragon with wind-up key on its white waist long with a pink heart that has the number ‘82’ in blue also on its white waist with two Earth Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Davis gives a grunt and Sailor Pluto says, “I sense Davis’ energy in that monster.” Sailor Neptune says, “That means that monster is part of Davis’ power that Heartland stole from him.” Heartland says, pushing a button on his disk, “Then I play my face-down card: Toon Mask!” Heartland’s face-down card is revealed to be the Toon Mask trap card and Heartland says, “Since I have Toon World, in the form of my Field Spell, I choose one monster on your field and I can summon another ‘toon actor’ of equal level to the field in attack mode! And I choose Stardust Dragon!” The ‘cartoon mask’ on the Toon Mask trap card appears on the field and starts to ‘morph’ while Heartland takes a card from his deck causing him to say, while putting it on his disk, “Say hello to Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon!” Toon Mask then ‘transforms’ into Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon (3000/2500) in attack mode. Joey says, plainly, “Saw that one coming.” Heartland says, “It is time for the show! Red-Eyes Toon Dragon! It is time to take it away! Inferno Fire Blast!” Red-Eyes Toon Dragon’s waist expands, cartoon manner, before he fires a dark red and black sphere of flame energy directly at Davis and Kite in which Heartland says, with a grin, “By the way, since you don’t have wonderful cartoon actors like mine, you are going to get hit directly!” Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate my trap: Spirit Barrier!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Spirit Barrier continuous trap card causing Davis to say, “While this card remains on the field, while we have monsters, we don’t suffer any battle damage!” A shield protects Kite and Davis from Red-Eyes Toon Dragon’s attack which fizzles out on the barrier. Heartland says, with a mock pout, “Well, you are no fun. Too bad your monsters aren’t going to be so lucky! Oh, Dark Magician, take out his Signal Warrior, won’t you?! Dark Magic Attack!” Toon Dark Magician then fires a mystical beam of energy right at Signal Warrior. Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Sorry, jerk, but I activate my next trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Davis’ next face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card and Davis says, “Thanks to this trap card, our monsters can’t be destroyed by battle or card effects this turn!” Signal Warrior is protected by a shield that easily absorbs Toon Dark Magician’s attack. Tai says, excitedly, “Way to go, Davis!” Heartland says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk while smirking, “I don’t think that you should celebrate just yet! I activate my Shadow Toon spell!” Sailor Venus says, nervously, “Uh oh!” Heartland says, with an evil smile, “You should know, sweetie pie! Since I have Toon World, in the form of Toon Kingdom, as the scene of this duel, Kite and Mister ‘Dragon King’ over here take damage equal to one monster on their field and I choose Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!” Just then Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon’s shadow leaps away from Galaxy-Eyes, taking Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon’s form, and attacking Kite and Davis with a ‘shadow version’ of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon’s attack that slams into Kite and Davis causing him to roar out as they are hit by the ‘attack’ causing them 3000 points of damage. Sailor Sun says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!” As the smoke and dust from the ‘attack’ clear, Davis and Kite, both of whom are snarling and their forms are smoking, emerge. Heartland says, with an evil smile and taunting tone, “Excellent! Just the kind thing that I want to see! The passion! The anger! It makes my heart race!” Kite tells Heartland, with a stern tone, “When my turn starts, your heart is going to be racing all right, you snake! Racing in panic when I beat you to a pulp!” Heartland says, with a mocking tone while putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Ooh, scary! But you need to work on your acting, Kite! Such a thing won’t scare me! For now, I’ll end my turn with two cards face-down!” Current Scores: Davis and Kite: 5000 Heartland and Digimon Emperor: 7900 (Back with Kaiba; around the same time) Returning to Kaiba, he is in his Deck Master duel with Leichter, in his new artificial body that looks similar to his original body, in which he starts off the duel by drawing a card! Kaiba yells out, “I’ll start off this duel! My turn! I draw!” Kaiba thinks in his mind, looking at Jinzo, “Thanks to his damn Deck Master, my trap cards are useless! It is like playing with only two-thirds of your deck and since Jinzo is his Deck Master, he can still play his trap card, but I have got what I need to even the odds!” Kaiba says, putting one card into his disk’s spell/trap slots, “I start off with Spell Sanctuary! When activated, both of us take one spell card from our decks and add it to our hands! For now, while this card remains on the field, all spell cards that are face-down on the field are treated as Quick-Play spell cards!” Leichter says, with a smirk, “Clever, Kaiba. However, will it be worth the price? We’ll see.” Kaiba says, with a sneer, “Yes, we will!” Kaiba takes out his deck to look through while a card comes out of Leichter’s deck causing Kaiba to say, “Automatic card dispenser, huh? Another of my improvements no doubt.” Leichter says, taking the card into his hand, “Which will be changed soon enough.” Kaiba takes one card from his deck and returns his deck to his disk. Kaiba then says, putting another card into the spell/trap slots of his disk, “Now, I play my Fiend’s Sanctuary! With it, I summon one Metal Fiend Token!” Just a Metal Fiend Token (0/0) appears on Kaiba’s field in attack mode and Kaiba says, “Now, I use the ability of my Deck Master! Since I’m summoning a high-powered Light monster, Kaiser Sea Horse allows me to summon them with one less tribute! I tribute my Metal Fiend Token to play my ultimate monster!” Kaiba puts one card on his disk and he yells out, “My Blue-Eyes White Dragon!” Metal Fiend Token vanishes and Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode. Kaiba says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Now, I end my turn with two cards face-down.” Leichter says, with a sinister smile, “Since my Deck Master isn’t getting rid of them, they aren’t trap cards! So, they must be spell cards and thanks to your continuous spell, you can activate them at any time. Very clever, Mister Kaiba.” Kaiba asks, “Are you going to go or surrender?” Leichter says, drawing a card, “You are going regret those words! My turn! I draw!” Leichter says, with an evil smile, “Speaking of that spell, I told you, you were going to regret using it before.” Leichter says, displaying Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell card, “For I play my Seal of Orichalcos spell card!” Kaiba asks, surprised, “What?!” Leichter puts the Seal of Orichalcos Field Spell into his Field Spell slot causing him to be surrounded by an eerie green column of light that spreads out and entraps Kaiba and Leichter in which Leichter gains the insignia of the Orichalcos on his forehead and a red tint in his eyes causing Kaiba to say, annoyed, “Not that cheating spell card again!” Leichter says, “Boo hoo, Mister Kaiba! You are just jealous that I have this power and you don’t!” Kaiba says, with a scoff, “Ha! I’ve beaten plenty of third-rate duelists that gave me a challenge only because of that card!” Leichter says, “And you only won due to a special dragon card. Critias, I believe? You don’t have it now!” Kaiba says, plainly, “I won’t need that card to beat a third-rate thug like you!” Leichter responds, “We shall see, Mister Kaiba!” Leichter says, displaying Fire Opalhead (2500/1000) and Flash Knight (1800/700) Pendulum Monster cards, “Now, witness the power of this time, Mister Kaiba! I set scale zero, Fire Opalhead, and scale seven, Flash Knight, and set the Pendulum Scale!” Kaiba asks, confused, “The what?!” Leichter puts the cards on his disk’s Pendulum Zones causing his disk’s Monster Card Zones to light up with the word ‘Pendulum’ in rainbow colors causing the two monsters to appear on the field in two columns of light, one monster per column, with the number 0 below Fire Opalhead and number 7 below Flash Knight. Kaiba asks, confused, “What is this?” Leichter says, with an evil smile, “You are going to find out, Mister Kaiba! With them, I can summon monsters that are levels one through six this turn! Now, go forth Pendulum! Create the gate of victory! Pendulum Summon!” Leichter puts three cards on his disk causing him to say, “The power of my associates is here to help me! Deepsea Warrior, Nightmare Penguin, and Judge Man, come forth!” A circle of light appears on the field, three ‘lights’ come from the circle, and those lights are revealed to be Deepsea Warrior (1600/1800), Nightmare Penguin (900/1800), and Judge Man (2200/1500) appear on the field in attack mode. Kaiba yells out, stunned, “Three monsters at once? Impossible!” Leichter says, “No, this is the power of Pendulum Summoning! The power of summoning multiple monsters! And now, these monsters gain even more power thanks to the Orichalcos!” Deepsea Warrior goes from 1600/1800 to 2100/1800, Nightmare Penguin goes from 900/1800 to 1400/1800, and Judge Man goes from 2200/1500 to 2700/1500 as the three monsters become infused with the Orichalcos’ power in which Leichter says, with an evil smile, “Also, Nightmare Penguin’s ability causes all water monsters to gain two hundred attack points!” Deepsea Warrior then goes from 2100/1800 to 2300/1800 while Nightmare Penguin goes from 1400/1800 to 1600/1800 causing Leichter to say, with an evil grin while putting another card onto the main slot of his disk, “Then I play my Card of Sanctity! Both of us must draw until we have six cards in our hands!” As Kaiba and Leichter draw from their decks until each of them have half-a-dozen cards in their hands, Kaiba tells him, “Now, you are one that you will regret giving me cards.” Leichter tells Kaiba, “That I seriously doubt, Mister Kaiba.” Leichter says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I equip Judge Man with United We Stand equip spell! This gives my Judge Man an extra eight hundred attack and defense for every monster on my field including itself!” Judge Man roars out as it goes from 2700/1500 to 5100/3900 causing Kaiba to flinch from that and Leichter says, with an evil smile, “You can see, Mister Kaiba, you won’t get a chance to use those cards! Judge Man, crush his precious Blue-Eyes!” Judge Man then slams his mace down on Blue-Eyes’ head causing it to roar out as it is destroyed in which the shockwave sends Kaiba skidding backwards as he loses 2100 life-points. Leichter shouts out, with an evil sadistic tone, “You’re finished!” Kaiba says, pushing a button on his disk, “I don’t think so! Reveal face-down card: Silent Doom!” One of Kaiba’s face-down is revealed to be Silent Doom spell card and Kaiba says, “Thanks to my Spell Sanctuary, I can play this card and revive one non-effect monster! Return, Blue-Eyes!” Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) returns to the field in defense mode. Leichter says, with a dark snort, “So, you saved yourself? It is just one turn!” Leichter puts three cards into main slot of his disk and he says, “I end my turn with three cards face-down!” Current Score: Kaiba: 1900 Leichter: 4000 Kaiba says, drawing a card, “My turn! I draw!” Kaiba draws one card from his deck and he gives a wide grin causing him to say, “You may have whatever strange summoning methods, but even with cards from the future, if that’s what they are, you don’t have the ability to beat me!” Kaiba shouts out, strongly while putting one card into the spell/trap slots of his disk, “I activate my Chaos Form Ritual spell card!” Kaiba discards another Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500) monster card and he says, putting a Ritual Monster card on his disk, “By sending another of my Blue-Eyes to the grave, I can awake the power of Chaos for it! Come forth, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon!” Soon after, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon (4000/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Leichter says, with an evil smirk, “I already know about your improved deck, Mister Kaiba! And your latest duels with Yugi around the time that Miss Yuuko brought you into this time…as well as your latest defeat by Yugi AGAIN, Mister Kaiba!” Kaiba responds, annoyed, “If you think that will get a rise out of me…you are going to regret it, BIG TIME, Leichter!” Kaiba says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots of his disk, “I activate my White Elephant’s Gift spell card! By sacrificing a non-effect monster on my field, I get to draw two cards from my deck!” Blue-Eyes roars out as it vanishes from the field and Leichter asks, confused, “Why would you get rid of your favorite monster?” Kaiba responds, as he draws two cards, “Get rid of? Wrong! I’m releasing my Blue-Eyes from the shackles of my Silent Doom!” Kaiba says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots of his disk, “If you think that I’m wrong, then this will convince you! I play Dark Factory of Mass Production! Now, I can return two non-effect monsters from my grave to my hand!” Two cards come out of the graveyard slot of Kaiba’s disk, he shows them to be his Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500 X 2) monster cards, and causing him to say, “And there you go! Blue-Eyes is back in my hand and ready to take revenge!” Kaiba then says, putting another card on his disk, “And since I showed you my Blue-Eyes, why not get another out to blast you into oblivion? Namely, Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon!” Soon after, Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode and Kaiba says, “And this Blue-Eyes can wipe out one of your monsters once per turn! Sure, it can’t attack when it uses this ability, but there is no price high enough to pay to get rid of you once and for all! Take it away, Blue-Eyes!” Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon unleashes a sphere of blue-white lightning energy right for Judge Man! Leichter says, with a dark strong tone while pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so, Mister Kaiba! I activate my trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Leichter’s face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card causing him to say, “Too bad, Mister Kaiba, but thanks to this trap card, all my monsters can’t be destroyed by battle or card effects this turn!” A shield protects Judge Man from the sphere of blue-white lightning energy from Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon. Kaiba says, “But you still can lose life-points! Chaos MAX Dragon, attack his overgrown bird!” Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon attacks Nightmare Penguin with a powerful blue beam of energy from its mouth. Leichter says, pushing two buttons on his disk’s touch screen, “Not so fast, Mister Kaiba! I activate my traps: Solemn Wishes and Defense Draw!” Leichter’s face-down cards are revealed to be Solemn Wishes continuous trap card and Defense Draw trap card causing Leichter to say to Kaiba, with a sinister smile, “Too bad, Mister Kaiba. My Defense Draw trap card negates the damage of your attack and allows me to draw a new card!” A shield protects Nightmare Penguin from Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon’s attack causing a powerful explosion where a shield protects Leichter from the shockwave. When the smoke and dust fades away, Leichter is unhurt causing him to say, as he draws a card, “And thanks to my Solemn Wishes, I gain five hundred more life-points! So, thank you for making me stronger!” Just then Leichter’s life-points increase by 500 more points after he draws his card. Kaiba says, with a sneer while putting one card into the spell/trap slots of his disk, “I end my turn with one card face-down.” Current Scores: Kaiba: 1900 Leichter: 4500 Leichter says, drawing card, “My turn! I draw! Plus, due to my trap card, I gain five hundred more life-points!” Leichter glows as he gains five hundred life-points and Leichter says, “And thanks to my Pendulum Scale, I can summon monsters that are levels one through six this turn! Now, go forth Pendulum! Create the gate of victory! Pendulum Summon!” Leichter puts two cards on his disk and he shouts out, “Ipiria! Aromage Jasmine! Come forth!” A circle of light appears on the field, two ‘lights’ comes to the field, and those ‘lights’ are revealed to be Ipiria (500/500-1000/500) and Aromage Jasmine (100/1900-600/1900) appear on the field in defense mode and get infused with the Orichalcos’ power. Leichter says, drawing a card, “Thanks to Ipiria, I get one additional card from my deck! Plus, thanks to my trap card, I gain five hundred more life-points!” Leichter’s life-points increase by 500 and Leichter says, with a sinister smile, “And thanks to Aromage Jasmine’s ability, since I gained life-points, I get one more additional card!” Leichter draws one more card from his deck and he says, “And due to my trap, I gain even more life-points!” Leichter glows, once more, as his life-points increase by 500 more life-points causing Leichter to say, “And since I have two more monsters on my field, Judge Man gets even stronger!” Judge Man then goes from 5100/3900 to 6700/5500 due to the effect of United We Stand equip spell equipped onto Judge Man with Leichter says, “First, I switch both Nightmare Penguin and Deepsea Warrior from attack to defense mode!” Nightmare Penguin and Deepsea Warrior then switch from attack mode to defense mode and Leichter says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I play my Double Attack spell card! I discard one monster card from my hand to allow one monster that has a less level than the monster that I discarded to attack twice!” Leichter discards Perfect Machine King (2700/1500) monster card and Leichter says, with an evil smile, “I discard my Perfect Machine King to allow my Judge Man to bash both of your precious Blue-Eyes to bits!” Kaiba says, with a sneer, “Just try it!” Leichter says, with an evil grin, “My pleasure, Mister Kaiba! Judge Man, crush his precious Blue-Eyes!” Judge Man charges in to attack Blue-Eyes Alternate White Dragon with its mace. Kaiba says, pushing a button on his disk, “Wrong! I activate my Block Attack spell!” Kaiba’s face-down card is revealed to be the Block Attack spell card and Kaiba says, “This card switches your monster from attack mode to defense mode and that means that my Blue-Eyes is safe!” Judge Man then grunts out as he goes from attack mode to defense mode causing Leichter to give off an annoyed expression. Leichter says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “You are just delaying your end! I end my turn with two cards face-down!” Current Scores: Kaiba: 1900 Leichter: 5500 Kaiba says, drawing a card, “We’ll see whose end it will be! My turn! I draw!” Kaiba says, “I use Blue-Eyes’ ability and take out your Judge Man!” Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon fires a sphere of lightning energy right for Judge Man. Leichter says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Not so fast, Mister Kaiba! I activate my trap: Skill Drain!” Leichter’s face-down card is revealed to be the Skill Drain continuous trap card and Leichter says, “By paying just a mere one thousand life-points, all monsters’ special abilities are negated!” Leichter’s life-points drop 1000 and all monsters roar out as they lose their abilities causing Deepsea Warrior then goes down from 2300/1800 to 2100/1800 while Nightmare Penguin goes from 1600/1800 to 1400/1800 due to the loss of Nightmare Penguin’s ability. Kaiba says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots of his disk, “Then I play my Hammer Shot in which the monster with the highest attack is destroyed and that means that your Judge Man has the book thrown down on him, Leichter!” Leichter says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Wrong, Mister Kaiba! I activate my Dark Bribe trap card!” Leichter’s other face-down is revealed to be the Dark Bribe counter-trap card and Leichter says, “Your spell card is negated at the price of you gaining another card!” Kaiba draws another card from his deck, looks at it, and Kaiba shouts out, putting one card into the spell/trap slot of his disk, “Your final mistake, Leichter! And here it is! I activate Polymerization!” Kaiba discards two more cards causing two Blue-Eyes White Dragons (3000/2500 X 2) to appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex with Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, and Kaiba says, “I fuse my three Blue-Eyes to form the monster of your destruction!” Kaiba takes out a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck, puts it on his disk, and this causes him to shout out, “Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!” Out of the fusion vortex, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (4500/3800) appears on the field in attack mode. Leichter says, with a dark sneer, “Ha! You think that scares me! My Judge Man has more defense points and even if you destroy one of my other monsters to weaken, you are going to need to destroy two monsters to take my Judge Man’s power low enough and you have only two monsters! Plus, thanks to my Skill Drain, your Chaos MAX Dragon can’t use its ability to take me out!” Kaiba says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots of his disk, “My Fairy Meteor Crush says otherwise! With this, when Ultimate Dragon attacks, if its attack is stronger than your defending monster’s defense, you take the difference as damage!” Leichter winches and he says, with a dark sneer, “Well…you can’t defeat me in one blow!” Kaiba says, pointing his last face-down, “Forget about this? This is the right moment to play this card! I activate my final spell card: Neutron Blast!” Kaiba’s last face-down card is revealed to be the Neutron Blast spell card and Kaiba says, “Since Ultimate Dragon is out on the field, it can attack three times this turn, and you can’t use any card effects until after it attacks!” Leichter says, flabbergasted, “NO!!!” Kaiba yells out, “It doesn’t matter if you have cards and tactics from the future! You NEVER stood a chance against me! Ultimate Dragon, END THIS! Neutron Blast!” Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon unleashes three blasts of energy that vaporizes Ipiria and Deepsea Warrior causing Leichter to scream out as he loses 6700 life-points as well the duel. Final Scores: Kaiba: 1900 Leichter: 0 With the end of the duel, the Real Solid Vision ‘projections’ vanish as the seal closes in on Leichter, who has fallen to his knees. Leichter says, weakly, “I may have lost, but you…” Leichter looks towards the capsule to where Mokuba was kept and his eyes widen to see Mokuba out of the capsule with Declan standing by him. Declan says, plainly, “I think not. A man such as yourself doesn’t deserve to call yourself a duelist. Now, vanish.” Leichter groans out as his soul is sealed away and his artificial body loses its form as it becomes a silver form of Leichter’s shape before the silver ‘form’ then ‘melts’ into a massive of silver ‘goop’. Mokuba says, disgusted, “Gross!” Kaiba runs over to Mokuba and he says, concerned, “Mokuba!” Mokuba tells Kaiba, “I’m okay, big brother.” Mokuba points to Declan and he says, “This guy saved me.” Declan says, “Such disgraceful actions aren’t becoming of a true duelist.” Kaiba asks, “Who are you?” Declan responds, “No one of importance compared to you, Seto Kaiba. Yes, anyone who is anyone knows your name in this time.” Kaiba says, with a sly smirk, “Not surprising.” Mokuba asks, “What is this place?” Declan replies, “An embodiment of insanity.” Mokuba asks, confused, “Huh?” Declan says, “For now, we should leave this place. Follow me.” As Declan starts to walk off, Kaiba asks, “We should trust you?” Declan retorts, plainly, “Do you even have a choice?” As Declan walks off, Mokuba tells Kaiba, “Come on, big brother, he did save my life.” With a reluctant grunt, Kaiba follows Declan along with Mokuba as they leave the place, not noticing a group of figures emerging from the shadows. (Back with our heroes and heroines; on the meanwhile) Returning to the deadly Shadow Tag Duel between Davis and Kite against Heartland and Digimon Emperor, it is Kite’s turn. Kite says, as he is drawing a card, “My turn! I draw!” Kite draws one card from his deck, in which he doesn’t notice that Toon Kingdom and Signal Warrior give off a slight glow, and he says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Now, I activate my trap: Eternal Galaxy!” Kite’s face-down card is revealed to be the Eternal Galaxy trap card causing Kite to say, “Since I have a Photon or Galaxy monster on my field, I can take one XYZ monster on my field and rank it up into a Photon or Galaxy XYZ monster that’s four ranks higher! So, I rank up my Illumiknight! Go, Rank-Up XYZ Evolution!” Illumiknight turns into a beam of light that goes into a vortex in the ground while Kite puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of Illumiknight’s card on his disk causing Kite to say, “Meet Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon!” Out of the vortex, Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon (4000/3500) with three Light Overlay Units orbiting it appears on the field in attack mode. Kite says, “And now, Galaxy-Eyes uses his ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, it destroys one card on your field!” Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon absorbs one of its Overlay Unit and aims a cannon right for Toon Kingdom. Heartland says, fearfully, “Oh no!” Kite says, “That’s right! Your Toon Kingdom is about to fall! Fire!” Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon fires an energy shot right for Toon Kingdom. Heartland says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate my trap: Impenetrable Fortress!” Heartland’s face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with a picture of a castle having a massive and immense wall in front of it causing Heartland to say, with a wicked grin, “Thanks to this trap card, all cards on our field can’t be destroyed by card effects for this turn when one of them is targeted for destruction by one of your card effects!” Kite gives an annoyed glare as the energy shot slams into Toon Kingdom, but it causes no damage. Kite says, putting one card on his disk, “Since I have a Photon or Galaxy monster on my field, I can summon Galaxy Knight without needing another to release!” Just then Galaxy Knight (2800/2600) appears on the field in attack mode and Kite yells out, “And now, I Overlay Galaxy Knight with Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!” The two said monsters turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while both monsters’ cards are put on the same Monster Card Zone on Kite’s disk as a dark blue appears in front of him making Kite say, taking the sword, “All the forces in the universe gather at this place and time! Come forth, Number Sixty-Two: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon!” Kite slams the sword on the ground causing a familiar XYZ Monster card to come out of his disk’s Extra Deck where it goes on top of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon’s and Galaxy Knight’s cards on Kite’s disk. Out of the vortex, Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon (4000/3000) with two Light Overlay Units orbiting it appears on the field in attack mode and Kite says, displaying Photon Orbital (500/2000) monster card, “Then I activate the effect of my Photon Orbital! With it, I can equip it to a Photon or Galaxy monster on my field! It gains five hundred attack points and it can’t be destroyed in battle!” Kite puts the card into the main slot of his disk, the image of Photon Orbital goes inside of Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon causing it to glow as it goes from 4000/3000 to 4500/3000, and causing Kite to say, “And now, Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon attacks…!!” Heartland says, with a sly grin, “If you are thinking of attacking my Heartlanddraco, think again! While there is an active spell card on the field, Heartlanddraco can’t be targeted for attacks!” Kite says, “That doesn’t mean that your other monsters aren’t targets and while you can banish cards to save them, it won’t save your life-points! Prime Photon Dragon, attacks Red-Eyes Toon Dragon! Then it activates its ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, its attack power increase by two hundred times the total number of the ranks of all XYZ monsters on the field including itself! Due to your Heartlanddraco and my Full Armor Photon Dragon with Prime Photon Dragon, it is twenty ranks and that means four thousand more attack points!” Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon then goes from 4500/3000 to 8500/3000 and Kite shouts out, “You can save your pathetic dragon, but you can’t save you and your pathetic partner from a world of hurt!” Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon unleashes a powerful beam of energy straight for Red-Eyes Toon Dragon. Digimon Emperor says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “But I can! I activate my trap: Depth Amulet!” Digimon Emperor’s face-down card is revealed to be the Depth Amulet continuous trap card and Digimon Emperor says, discarding one card from his hand, “By discarding one card from my hand, I can negate the attack!” A shield protects Red-Eyes Toon Dragon from Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon’s attack in which its stats go back from 8500/3000 to 4500/3000. Heartland says, with a grin, “Thanks, partner!” Digimon Emperor says, with a dark annoyed tone, “Shut it, dweeb! I didn’t protect you! I was protecting myself when I stopped that attack!” Kite says, “Then you should try to stop this one! Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon, take out his dragon now!” Full Armor Photon Dragon then fires its cannons at Hundred Eyes Dragon. Digimon Emperor says, with a dark scoff while discarding another card, “Baka! I discard another card to negate this attack!” Another shield protects Hundred Eyes Dragon from Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Dragon’s attack. Kite says, with a snarl, “I end my turn with one card face-down.” Digimon Emperor says, drawing a card, “That’s what I thought! My turn! I draw!” Digimon Emperor says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start off with Pot of Greed and draw two new cards!” Digimon Emperor draws two cards and Digimon Emperor says, putting one more card into main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Earthquake spell and force all monsters into defense mode!” Soon after, a strong shockwave forces all monsters on the field from attack mode to defense mode. Heartland says, plainly, “Well, that was rude.” Digimon Emperor says, with a dark nasty tone, “Get over it, dork! I switch Hundred Eyes Dragon back to attack mode!” Hundred Eyes Dragon goes back from defense mode to attack mode causing Digimon Emperor to say, as he puts another card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Junk Dealer! Now, I can revive any two machine or warriors from my graveyard, but they come back with half of their power, they can’t attack, and they can’t be released for an Advance Summon!” Just then Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000-500/1000) and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800-600/800) returns to the field in attack mode causing Digimon Emperor to say, while putting one card into the main slot, “Then I activate my Low-Level Booster! Since I have a level four or below monster on my field, all level four or below monsters gain one level!” Digimon Emperor puts one card on his disk, and he says, “Then I play Elemental Hero Wildheart!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Wildheart (1500/1600) appears on the field in attack mode causing Digimon Emperor to say, “Now, I Overlay my level four Avian and Burstinatrix and build the Overlay Network!” All three said monsters turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while Digimon Emperor puts all three monsters’ cards onto the same Monster Card Zones on his disk while putting an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of the three monster cards on his disk causing him to say, “I XYZ Summon Number One-Hundred and Five: Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus!” Out of the vortex, Number 105: Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus (2500/1600) with three Fire Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, annoyed, “Here we go again.” Digimon Emperor says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “It gets worse, dweeb! First, I place one card face-down!” Digimon Emperor says, putting the last card in his hand into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Infernity Launcher spell! While this card remains on the field, I can send one Infernity monster from my hand to the grave! And when I have no cards in my hand, I can send this card to the grave to revive two Infernity monsters! And that’s what I’m doing! Return, Infernity Beetle and Infernity General!” Infernity Beetle (1200/0) and Infernity General (2700/1500) appear on the field in attack mode. Leo asks, confused, “When did that card get into his grave?” Kazuto responds, “Most likely, when he used his Depth Amulet trap, Leo.” Digimon Emperor yells out, with an evil smile, “And now, I tune my Infernity Beetle with my Infernity General!” Infernity Beetle turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround Infernity General, turning it transparent, and when Digimon Emperor gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing Digimon Emperor to say, “Sinister spirits that dwell within these infamous creatures, combine into one and roam the world once more! Synchro Summon!” Digimon Emperor says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “And now, I Synchro Summon Infernity Doom Dragon!” Out of the light, Infernity Doom Dragon (3000/2400) appears on the field in attack mode. Yusei says, nervously, “Uh oh. That’s bad.” Joey says, nervously, “More than it looks? Because it looks pretty bad.” Jack says, plainly, “You’ll see.” Digimon Emperor says, “First, I have Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus attack your precious Stardust Dragon!” Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus leaps in towards Stardust Dragon and Digimon Emperor says, with an evil smirk, “Next, I activate his ability! By removing an Overlay Unit, until the end of this turn, he negates your monster’s abilities, make it unable to be destroyed, and you take damage any battle damage that I take from this battle!” Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus absorbs an Overlay Unit and Yolei asks, confused, “But that doesn’t make sense?” Cody says, with a serious tone, “It will soon enough, Yolei. You’ll see.” Both Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus and Stardust Dragon glow in which Stardust Dragon swings its tail where Star Cestus attack is stopped causing him to leap back. Kite says, with a snarl, “Here it comes.” Digimon Emperor says, with an evil smile, “I’m sure that your tiny minds can understand that battle was to get rid of Stardust Dragon’s rotten ability and allow my Doom Dragon to use his ability where he destroys one monster on your field and you take half of its attack as damage since I have no cards in my hand!” Davis and Kite snarl at Digimon Emperor and Digimon Emperor shouts out, “And I think I’ll take out that pathetic lizard for good!” Infernity Doom Dragon unleashes a dark grey-silver beam of energy that slams into Stardust Dragon causing him to explode in which Davis and Kite yelp out as they are hit by the shockwave which cost them 1250 life-points. Sailor Sun says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!” Davis says, with a snarl, “Damn it!” Digimon Emperor says, with an evil smile, “I think that’s enough pain for now. I end my turn!” Current Scores: Davis and Kite: 3750 Heartland and Digimon Emperor: 7900 TK says, looking at Ken, “Ken isn’t looking so good.” Tuxedo Mask asks Sailor Mercury, “Mercury?” Sailor Mercury says, really worried tone in her voice, “Not good! His life-force is reaching critical!” Yolei says, fearfully, “Ken!” Davis thinks in his mind, nervously and fearfully, “Damn it! I’ve got to do something! But what can I do?” As Davis’ mind races all over the place to figure out a solution, he feels a ‘throb’ in his chest. Just then a familiar yet ‘deeper’ male voice booms in his mind, “That’s it? Are you going to let him die?” Davis’ eyes widen in surprise and confusion and the voice booms out, “You already know what to do? You already have the power! Now, embrace it! EMBRACE YOUR TRUE POWER, THE TRUE POWER OF THE DRAGON KING…THE DRAGON SOVEREIGN…THE DRAGON OVERLORD, THE SUPREME ONE!!!” Just then images and thoughts slam into his mind and Davis ‘feels’…something. That ‘something’ gets the attention of Sailor Mars and Sailor Uranus as they ‘sense’ something from Davis while Sailor Sun also gets a ‘feeling’ in her chest. Digimon Emperor says, with a dark nasty tone, “What are you waiting for? Make your move!” Davis says, strongly, “You asked for it!” Davis then yells out, drawing a card from his deck, “My move! Draw!” Just then a golden mixed with a dark-red energy comes from the card and Davis’ Extra Deck in which Davis says, “Signal Warrior’s ability allows him to put a counter on himself and one Field Spell on the field during the Standby Phase. Now, I remove four of those counters to play his effect and inflict eight hundred points of damage to you, morons!” Just then two ‘lights’ come from Heartland’s Field Spell and mix with two lights from Signal Warrior that turns into two beams that slam into Heartland and Digimon Emperor in the chests causing them to stumble back as they lose 800 life-points. Digimon Emperor says, annoyed, “That was nothing!” Davis says, in a taunting tone, “I’m sorry…then let me do something that will really rock your world!” Davis’ tone causes Tai, Sailor Sun, and Veemon to become curious and a bit concerned for obvious reasons. Davis says, putting two cards on his disk, “Since you have monsters that have two thousand or more attack points, I can special summon Schwarzschild Limit Dragon and I have two of them!” Just then two Schwarzschild Limit Dragon (2000/0 X 2) appear on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “And now, I Overlay both of my Limit Dragons and build the Overlay Network!” Both Schwarzschild Limit Dragons turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while a glow comes from Davis’ Extra Deck as a new XYZ Monster card appears over two monsters’ cards which have been put on the same Monster Card Zone on Davis’ disk. Davis roars out, strongly, “I XYZ Summon Number One-Hundred and Seven: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon!” Heartland yells out, flabbergasted, “What?!” Kite gives a look of surprise as none other than Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (3000/2500) with two Light Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode. Heartland asks, confused and shocked, “That’s not possible!” Kite asks Heartland, plainly while curious tone in his voice, “Why is that?” Just then there is a glow coming from Heartland’s duel disk and out of his Extra Deck, Number 107: Galaxy Eyes Tachyon Dragon (3000/2500) XYZ Monster card ‘pops’ out and surrounded by the ‘glow’ coming from Heartland’s Extra Deck just seconds ago. Kite thinks in his mind, “That’s Don Thousand Over-Hundred Number all right! That means that this version belongs to this guy! Could that mean…?” Sailor Venus asks, looking around confused, “What’s going on?” Rika responds, with a shrug, “You got me.” Sailor Star then looks to see that Kazuto is looking intently at the duel. Sailor Star thinks in her mind, curiously, “Kirito-kun?”   ; Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play my Mirror Identity spell card! By discarding the top card of my deck, one monster on my field gets the same name as another monster on the field!” Davis discards the top card of his deck and he yells out, “And I choose Tachyon Dragon to get the identity of Prime Photon Dragon!” Just then an image of Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon enshrouds Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon and Davis shouts out, “And now, I Overlay Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon with Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon and build the Overlay Network!” Both said monsters then turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while a golden glow comes from Davis’ Extra Deck. After Davis puts the two monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone on his disk, a new XYZ Monster card emerges from Davis’ Extra Deck where Davis puts the card on top of the two Schwarzschild’s cards on his Davis causing him to say, “Power of my soul and dragon of genesis! Let’s rock, Number One-Hundred: Numeron Dragon!” Out of the vortex, Number 100: Numeron Dragon (0/0), an immense golden Asian style dragon with two Light Overlay Units, appears on the field in attack mode. The instant that Numeron Dragon appears on the field, there is a slight golden glow around Davis and his eyes become more dragon-like with his pupils becoming dragon-like slits. Just then Sailor Celestial’s broach starts to give off a golden glow as well. Sailor Moon says, shocked, “Celestial!” Sailor Saturn says, amazed, “Your broach!” Sailor Celestial asks, confused, “What the?!” Sailor Pluto says, “It seems like what Heartland said is true. Davis is connected to Celestial or at least her powers in some way.” There are gasps of shock and Kite thinks in his mind, “So, Heartland and I were right, but I’m still a bit ‘disturbed’ that he has his own version of Tachyon Dragon. That could mean…” Davis then says, putting one card on his disk, “I remove the Magna-Slash Dragon from my graveyard to play Black Dragon Collapserpent in attack mode!” A card comes out of the graveyard slot of Davis’ disk, ‘vanishes’, and Black Dragon Collapserpent (1800/1700), a black and dark orange serpent-like dragon, appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, putting another card on his disk, “Then I remove one of my Schwarzschild Limit Dragons to play White Dragon Wyvernburster as well!” Another card comes out of the graveyard slot of Davis’ disk, it ‘vanishes’, and White Dragon Wyvernburster (1700/1800), a blue and white wyvern, appears on the field in attack mode. Davis yells out, “And now, I Overlay Black Dragon with White Dragon to build the Overlay Network!” Both said monsters then turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground while Davis puts two said monsters’ cards on top of the same Monster Card Zone on his disk as well as putting an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on top of those cards causing him to say, “I XYZ Summon Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia Double!” Out of the vortex, Number 39: Utopia Double (0/2500) with two Light Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “I activate his ability! By removing an Overlay Unit from Utopia Double, I can add a certain spell card from my deck to my hand! Then I can XYZ Summon a Utopia monster using Utopia Double to rebuild the Overlay Network!” Utopia Double absorbs one of its Overlay Units causing a card to come out of Davis’ deck and then Utopia Double turns into a light that goes into a vortex in a ground while Davis puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on his disk causing him to say, “Time for the regular Utopia to make his appearance!” Soon after, Number 39: Utopia (2500/2000-5000/2000) with two Light Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “And as you can see, Utopia Double doubles Utopia’s attack power!” Heartland says, with a smirk, “Ha! Even with double its power, it won’t beat me!” Davis says, with a glare with his now silt-like eyes, “Yeah! Well, how about I Overlay Utopia to rebuild the Overlay Network! Go, Chaos XYZ Evolution!” Heartland gasps as Utopia turns into a light that goes into a vortex in a ground while Davis puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on his disk causing him to say, “Come forth, Chaos Number Thirty-Nine: Utopia Ray!” Out of the vortex, Number C39: Utopia Ray (2500/2000) with three Light Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, strongly, “And next, I use Utopia Ray to rebuild the Overlay Network, once again! Go, Shining XYZ Evolution!” Utopia Ray then turns into a light that goes into a vortex in a ground while Davis puts an XYZ Monster card from his Extra Deck on his disk causing him to say, “Come forth, Shining Number 39: Utopia the Lightning!” Afterwards, out of the vortex, Number S39: Utopia the Lightning (2500/2000) with four Light Overlay Units appears on the field in attack mode causing Davis to say, display Rank-Up-Magic: Numeron Force spell card in his hand, “Then I discard Rank-Up-Magic: Numeron Force and rank-up Utopia to its highest force! Go, Hyper Rank-Up XYZ Evolution!” Davis discards the card and Utopia the Lightning Double turns into a light that goes into a vortex in a ground while a new XYZ Monster card appears over Utopia the Lightning’s card on his disk. Yolei asks, confused, “How high can he ‘evolve’ his monster?” Davis shouts out, with a powerful and strong voice, “Meet the fury of the dragon and the mightiest of all Utopia: Number Ninety-Nine: Utopic Dragon!” Out of the vortex, Number 99: Utopic Dragon (4000/2000), an immense golden dragon with white armor with shining golden wings while having five Light Overlay Units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Keiko says, amazed, “Wow!” Kotone says, with a nod, “I agree, Keiko.” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I equip him with my XYZ Butterfly Effect equip spell! I can activate this card by sending cards from my deck equal to the amount of XYZ Monsters on the field!” Davis discards the top five cards of his deck and Davis says, “Now, Utopic Dragon can use the abilities of XYZ Monsters on my side of the field and I use one Overlay Unit to activate Full Armor Photon Dragon’s ability! Now, by removing an Overlay Unit, I can destroy one card on your field!” Utopic Dragon absorbs one of its Overlay Unit, it and Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon glow in unison, and then Utopic Dragon fires a sphere of energy at Toon Kingdom, which goes up in a massive explosion. Heartland says, shocked, “Oh no!” Davis says, “There is more! I use another Overlay Unit to activate Numeron Dragon’s ability! By using an Overlay Unit, Utopic Dragon gains attack points equal to the total ranks of all XYZ Monsters on the field times one thousand!” Heartland yells out, stunned, “What?!” Sailor Mercury says, “All of the ranks of the XYZ Monsters on the field equal twenty-seven, so, that means…!!” Utopic Dragon absorbs another of its Overlay Units and Numeron Dragon and Utopic Dragon glow in unison causing Utopic Dragon to go from 4000/2000 to 31,000/2000! Heartland says, shocked, “Over THIRTY THOUSAND?! That’s…impossible!” Davis says, with a powerful tone, “Oh, it’s real! And you and that faker are about to get blasted to infinity and beyond with my dragon!” Heartland thinks in his mind, with a sinister sly tone, “Expect that I have got an ace in the hole ready just in case! I didn’t use it before because I knew that my ‘supporting actor’ would want to make sure that we will still be around! But now…!!” Davis says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I equip Utopic Dragon with my Chaos Veil equip spell! This card can only be a Number monster and when my Utopic Dragon attacks, you can’t activate any card effects or set cards until after my dragon attacks!” Heartland yells out, flabbergasted, “WHAT?!” Davis shouts out, “Utopic Dragon, blast Doom Dragon and these asses out of this universe! Go, FINAL GENESIS!!!” Utopic Dragon unleashes a massive surge of golden energy that slams into Infernity Doom Dragon that vaporizes it in a massive explosion in which Digimon Emperor and Heartland scream out in pain and agony as they suffer an immense 28,000 life-points of damage causing the end of the duel in favor of Davis and Kite. Final Score: Davis and Kite: 3750 Heartland and Digimon Emperor: 0 The attack was so powerful that it caused a shockwave where Sailor Saturn produced a shield to protect everyone else form the shockwave of the attack that continues on even after all of the Real Solid Images vanishes. Matt says, shocked, “What an attack!” TK says, with a nod, “No joke, bro!” Hiyori says, a bit nervously, “Scary…” Rika says, with a grin, “Yeah, but they did it! Davis did it!” Tai says, with a plain tone, “Yeah…” Sora asks Tai, concerned, “Tai?” When smoke and dust from the explosion of Utopic Dragon’s final attack dies down, we find Heartland lying down on his back while Digimon Emperor is on his knees in which both of them are smoking with Digimon Emperor turning into ash and dust. Digimon Emperor than laughs evilly as he completely turns into dust and ash, leaving only his duel disk and deck, in which dark violet energy emerges from the dust and ash where it starts to turn into rainbow colored as it goes into Ken, who is looking very pale as he is near death, but now, as the energy goes back into him, his skin regains his color and he takes a deep breath. Wormmon says, relieved, “Ken!” Immediately, Sailor Celestial flies up and uses her powers to free Ken from the ‘bubble’ after Ken has regained his full strength where she carries him on her shoulders over to Yolei and the others while Heartland struggles back up, but then a black ‘portal’ appears below him and black ‘tentacles’ wrap all around him. Heartland yells out, “Hey, what’s going on here?” Jack responds, “The price making a ‘deal with demons’.” Heartland says, “Wait! I’m not a Dark Signer.” Yusei tells Heartland, “Yeah, but you touched their ‘power’ and used one of their Immortals to create that ‘evil doppelganger’ of Ken-san. That means that you belonged to them.” Heartland screams out, “THAT’S NOT FAIR…!!!” However, Heartland is dragged into the ‘portal’ by the ‘tentacles’ and the only thing left is Heartland’s duel disk and deck. Kite goes over to the Digimon Emperor’s disk where he retrieves Number 105: Battlin’ Boxer Star Cestus (2500/1600) and Number C105: Battlin’ Boxer Comet Cestus (2800/2000) XYZ Monster cards and putting them away while Davis goes over to Heartland’s duel disk where he retrieves Number 82: Heartlanddraco (2000/1500) and Number 52: Diamond Crab King (0/3000) XYZ Monster cards in which they glow in unison with him. Davis puts them into his Extra Deck of his disk and he then gets Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (3000/2500) and Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (4500/3000) XYZ Monster cards in which the two cards glow dark red and black causing Davis’ eyes, which had turned back to ‘normal’, become a sinister golden color for a second. Kite sees Davis with those cards, and he says, “Hey!” Davis snaps back to his senses and Davis says, throwing the cards, “Yeah! Yeah!” Kite catches the cards and puts them away in storage. Kite says, with a sigh of relief, “Now, the nightmare is over. And Heartland is gone for good too.” Kite then pushes buttons on his disk and creates a portal ahead of him. Sailor Venus asks, “Hey, you are going to split on us?” Kite says, “This isn’t my battle. I only came here to take care of Heartland and get these cards to make sure that my Earth and my universe was never put in any more danger. The person that he allied with is your problem. Outsiders like me should butt out and that’s what I intend to do.” Sailor Pluto says, plainly, “He has a point.” Sailor Uranus says, with a plain tone, “This is our fight.” Kite says, “Good luck with that. You are such a mix-mashed bunch that victory seems a pretty tall order.” Kite then says, with a smirk, “But then again, I’ve got personal experience that such groups might do just fine…with dumb luck which you, lot, seem to have plenty of.” Sailor Jupiter asks, annoyed, “Is he complimenting or insulting us?” TK says, nervously, “I think a bit of both.” Kite says, looking at both Sailor Celestial and Davis, “And for the two of you…I would watch yourselves really closely. With such power in your hands, you could save or bust up your universe if the wrong people get their hands on your power or you decide to ‘go rogue’.” Sailor Celestial asks, plainly, “And what makes you say that?” Kite tells Sailor Celestial, “I know what it is to have ‘major baggage’ on their hands and the two of you have MASSIVE baggage on your hands. Good luck. All of you are going to need it.” Soon after, Kite steps through the portal and afterwards, the portal closes behind him. Rika says, annoyed, “Good riddance!” Sailor Pluto thinks in her mind, looking at Davis, “Based on what we found out about these cards, Davis might play an important role in maintaining balance and that role rivals that of Sailor Celestial herself.” Sailor Saturn asks, “So, what do we do now?” Joey says, “We find Tea and get back home, that’s what!” Serenity says, “I hope that she is okay.” Tristan says, “I’m sure that she is fine, Serenity.” Duke tells Tristan, plainly, “We can’t be sure of that. We are dealing with someone that may rival Marik’s ‘dark side’ and you know how he was.” Joey says, annoyed, “Don’t remind us, Duke.” Mai says, “I hate admit it, but Duke has a point. This girl…there isn’t something right about her.” Sailor Celestial says, with a plain tone, “You are exactly right.” Mai asks Sailor Celestial, “How would you know about it, hon?” Sailor Celestial responds, plainly, “I’m the one that got her the power of the Orichalcos.” Mai asks, surprised, “Say what?” Duke tells Mai, motioning to Sailor Celestial, “You and her share something in common. A bad ‘mind warping’ experience with the Orichalcos.” Tristan asks, surprised, “Seriously?”
Joey tells Tristan, “Bro, can you not say that out loud?” Tristan says, nervously, “Oops!” Sailor Celestial says, “Don’t worry about it. I’ve gotten over it.” Kazuto thinks in his mind, plainly, “Sugu…” Sailor Celestial says, “Anyway, let’s find your friend and get you back home while Yuuko is taken care of for good.” Just then a female voice says, “I might be able to help you in that regard.” Everyone looks towards the source to see Misty Tredwell, the former Dark Signer of the Lizard, walking up to them. Akiza asks, surprised, “Misty, what are you doing here?” Misty, having a solemn expression, responds, “Akiza, I wish that it was under better circumstances that we met again. But I’m here to lead your successor to meet with my successor.” Luna asks, curiously, “Your successor to meet with your successor?” Jack says, plainly, “She means Sailor Sun, the new Signer of Black Rose Dragon, to meet with the new Dark Signer of the Lizard.” Misty responds, “That’s right. The person that you are fighting, Yuuko, has managed to revive my brother, Toby, and she is holding him hostage in which she has me bringing Akiza’s successor as Black Rose Dragon’s Signer into a trap.” Tai asks, surprised, “What?” Cody asks, “Wait! Are you allowed to tell us that it is a trap?” Misty says, plainly, “She said that it doesn’t matter since you won’t let an innocent person suffer.” Misty says, looking at Yugi, “She also has your friend, Tea Gardner, over their heads, Yugi-dono.” Joey says, with a sneer, “That snake!”
Mai tells Joey, “That’s a given.” Sailor Sun says, attaching her Real Solid Vision duel disk to her left wrist, “Take me to my opponent, Misty-san.” Tai asks, surprised, “Kari?!” Sailor Sun tells Tai, “I’m a Sailor Scout, Tai. Protecting the innocent is my job.” Misty tells Sailor Sun, “Thank you. And I’m sorry.” Sailor Sun says, “I understand.” Misty says, “Please follow me.” Soon enough, Misty heads off and our heroes and heroines follow her towards Sailor Sun’s opponent, the current Dark Signer of the Lizard, in which there are many questions on who Sailor Sun’s opponent as a Signer would be… End Chapter 23 Anyway, I’m sure that if you thought that I would have Kaiba in this story and not have him have at least duel once, you have got another thing coming. However, now, you must be wonder what’s going on with Davis. Well, you have to read and review to find out, folks. And trust me, there is going to be a twist in the upcoming chapter and Kari’s/Sailor Sun’s duel. You’ll see what I mean soon enough. Later and best wishes, Crossover Fans!
