Last time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

The bear youkai turns to me,” I knew that you had the Silver Crystal! Hand it over along with the Shikon-no-Kakara!”

“No chance bastard,” I shout. I pull out my Cutie Moon Rod and shout,” MOON PRINCESS HALATION!” The pink light flies out of my scepter and annihilates the youkai in one stroke. Everyone looks on in amazement.

“That was incredible, Sailor Moon,” Shippo exclaims.

“Indeed, that was more powerful than your previous attacks,” Miroku mused.

“I guess it’s because of the Silver Crystal,” I admit. “I do feel a lot stronger.”

“Keh! Not bad,” Inuyasha says sheathing Tetsusaiga. I was about to detransform until I sense the presence of a powerful youkai. “Sesshomaru,” Inuyasha growls.

Chapter 11

Enter the Lightning Senshi: Sailor Jupiter

******Cynthia POV******

Inuyasha unsheathes Tetsusaiga and runs to where his brother awaits him.

“What the hell do you want now, Sesshomaru,” he demands. I run up behind him with the rest.

The taiyoukai just looks at me with a interested expression and then says,” You seem more powerful than before. I saw a bright glow coming from here.”

“That was from the Silver Crystal,” I explain.

“Are you here to take it,” Inuyasha shouts.

“Be not a fool, Inuyasha. I, Sesshomaru, need not the aid of jewels to increase my strength, unlike you.” This remark causes Inuyasha to growl back at him.

“Then why the hell did you come out here for?!”

“I wondered where the powerful scent was coming from. So you use the jewel for your powers?”

I nodded slightly,” I am its protector. As is with Kouga.”

He smirks,” So that wolf is your mate? You do realize that I was not the only youkai to have seen that light.”

“I am well aware of the situation.” He nodded and turned to walk away.

After his figure disappeared, Inuyasha comments,” That was fucking weird.” Everyone around us nods. I then turn towards the village to see an angry and worried looking ookami-youkai stumbling toward me with his lackeys trying to hold him back.

I run towards him and catch him as he falls. “Kouga, what are you doing out here? You shouldn’t be up in your condition. You may reopen your wounds.”

“Why was Inuyasha’s brother here?! What did he want from you,” he demands weakly, but in an angry tone.

“He only wanted to know what the light from the Crystal was,” I explain.

“Well be more careful next time. I need to be able to protect you!”

“Well you’re in no condition to be fighting yet!”

“I don’t care what condition I’m in! I just care whether you’re protected or not!”

I detransform and Ginta and Hakkaku help me carry Kouga back to the hut. He collapsed into the mat, asleep. “Good he’s not injured more,” I sigh. “Thanks for the help,” I say to his wolf friends.

“No problem Sister Cynthia,” they both said at the same time. I blush at the name again.

Inuyasha and the rest walk in. “Keh! Weak wolf,” the hanyou mutters. Kagome and I glare at him. Kagome pushes him and they start fighting.

“Inuyasha! I can’t believe how insensitive you are,” she shouts at him.

“Well it’s true! I would’ve thought that he would be better by now,” he responds.

“Well it could’ve been from miasma.”

“Yea, maybe, but I know I would’ve been better before him.”

“Inuyasha you jerk! OSUWARI,” she shouts angry. I hear him hit the ground and the others wince. I’m glad Kouga wasn’t awake to hear that…

Kagome huffs back in and asks softly,” Is he alright?”

“Yea, he just passed out. I’m worried about him,” I say, brushing Kouga’s hair back from his face. I place a wet rag on his forehead to keep his fever down. Kaede then walks in to check up on him.

“Is the child doing well,” she asks.

“I’m not sure. I think he is poisoned from miasma.”

“Well then, the others shall fetch the herbs for him.”

“I will volunteer to go,” Miroku said.

“I’ll go with Houshi-sama,” Sango put in.

“I think I’ll go. It has been long since I last saw Jinenji,” Kagome says. “I’m pretty sure Inuyasha’s going too.” Kaede nodded.

“Ye must all hurry. He is running fever,” the old miko urged. They all nod. Shippo decided to go to be with Kagome. Ginta and Hakkaku stayed behind to watch over their leader.

“Shouldn’t I go,” I ask.

Miroku says,” No, you stay behind and watch over him. We’ll be back in four days. He needs you to protect him.” I nod and feel tears build up.

I walk outside with everyone else. “Stay safe,” I shout. They smile to reassure me. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo on Kirara, take off, with Kagome on Inuyasha’s back, following underneath them.

“Come child, we have an antidote to prepare,” Kaede says to me.

I nod,” Hai, Kaede-sama.” We start to gather herbs around her hut. She crushes them up in a bowl. Then we change Kouga’s wound, him still being asleep. Of course I blush the whole time.

“I hope he’ll get better,” I sigh.

“Cheer up Cynthia-sama. I’m sure that he’ll be up and walking in no time since he’s full youkai,” Kaede said. “Try to get some sleep child. You two wolves keep watch,” she said to Ginta and Hakkaku.

“Right,” they both said and went outside the hut to watch out for youkai.

Luna walked up to me and cuddled by me. “Goodnight Luna.” She just curled up and slept. I soon followed after in slumber.

******Four Days Later******

The next few days were about the same: me and Kaede looking after Kouga. In the afternoon, the rest of them came, Kagome holding up the herbs in triumph.

Ginta, Hakakku, and Kaede followed behind me, all smiles. “Glad to see ye all. How was the journey,” Kaede asked. Miroku explained how they rushed to get the herb and how Inuyasha helped out, destroying youkai who were after the Shikon-no-Kakara.

Kagome ran up to me and asked,” Is Kouga-kun doing better?” Immediately my smile deteriorated.

“He is the same as when you left. Hw hasn’t woken up since then,” I sigh with sad eyes. Kagome suddenly looked sad.

“Kagome, help me make the herbs,” Kaede requested. She nodded and went inside the hut with her. Sango and I followed behind. The men stayed out so they wouldn’t see Kouga in that state.

Inside the hut, they finished the remedy and applied it to Kouga.

“What do we do now,“ I ask.

“We wait,“ Kagome sighs. After a half an hour, Kouga starts to break out in sweat. I applied a wet cloth to his head.

“This is good. The herb is working. He should be better in a day,” Kaede says. The rest of the girls went to take a bath in the hot springs. I stayed behind to watch over Kouga, just in case he woke up. After awhile, we all fell into a worried sleep.

******Kouga’s POV******

Where the hell am I? I open my eyes slightly because of the sunlight. I look over to see Cynthia sleeping soundly against my chest. I smirk and kiss her head. I must have been out for a while. I heard someone huff and followed the smell to the mutt.

“It’s about time you woke up, stupid wolf,” he says grumpily. He stares at me and smirks. “Your mate was worried about you,” he said mentioning to our position. I blush to realize we were in a hut full of people. I carefully move Cynthia off of me and sit up. She was still asleep.

I instantly cringe. “I feel like hell,” I mutter.

“I could imagine. Naraku poisoned you with miasma.” I growl at the mention of Naraku’s name. Then I heard my mate stir. I smile at her and then looks up to me.

“KOUGA,” she exclaims, jumping into my arms. She wakes up the whole hut in the process. I growl from the slight movement made by her. She scoots away a little bit and asks,” I’m sorry, did I hurt you?”

“No, I’m fine,” I lie.

She looked like she didn’t believe me and was about to say something when Kagome exclaims,” Kouga-kun! You‘re awake!”

“Hey Kagome,” I smile. I hear Inuyasha growl and roll my eyes.

“Are ye feeling better,” I hear the old crone ask.

“Yea, thanks for looking after me,” I say, looking at everyone except Inuyasha.

“Hey, where’s my thanks?! I did go with them to pick the herbs,” the mutt says.

“Well you don’t look really cheerful,” I tease.

“I knew I should’ve let you die,” he growls, his temper flaring.

“Well why didn’t you let me die, Mutt?”

“If you wanna die, then I wouldn’t mind to be the one to kill you.” I follow him outside. My plan’s working.

“Like you could puppy!” I know he hates it when I call him that.

“You pushed your luck you stupid wolf!” He draws out Tetsusaiga and points it out at me.

“I knew that would work,” I mutter.

“What did you say,” he asks in confusion. I ignore him and charge. He jumps out of the way and brings down his sword, which or course I dodge. I punch him before flipping backwards.

He was about to bring down his sword to attack again, when I heard Kagome shout,“ Inuyasha, OSUWARI!”

I put on my pout face and say,” Oh damn Kagome. You ruined our practice.” Her eyes were bulging out of her face and I couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Y…you were just p…practicing,” she stuttered out.

“What the hell do you mean practicing wolf?! I was about to kill you,” Inuyasha demands.

“The only way to make you fight is to annoy you. I was just stretching my limbs,” I say simply.

I feel Cynthia’s hand hit the back of my head. “You baka,” she flares. “You could’ve just asked him to practice!”

“Like the mutt would fight to his fullest, knowing I‘m still recovering.”

“Yea, I probably wouldn‘t fight to my fullest. Wouldn‘t want to kill him in this condition,” Inuyasha agrees.

“Since things are back to normal, should we continue our search,” the monk asks.

“Sure monk,” I say.

“Keh! It’s about time. Wolf’s been holding us back,” Mutt-Face comments.

“I’m apologize for holding everyone back,” I say to them all.

Kagome then says cheerfully,” It’s ok Kouga-kun. We’re just glad you’re alive.”

I nod and say,” Let’s go.”

“Bye Kaede,” Kagome says. “We’re going.”

“Have a safe trip,” Kaede calls out. Kagome gets on Inuyasha and the others get on that neko-youkai. I grab Cynthia who is holding that weird cat. I start to run, creating a tornado as I go, catching up to the mutt in no time. I roll my eyes when I hear the chopped up voices of Ginta and Hakkaku telling me to wait up.

******Cynthia’s POV******

After a while, we make camp in the woods since there no villages around for Miroku to try his “Ominous Cloud” scam on.

Me and the girls take a bath in the hot spring while the guys made the fire and hunted.

“I’m glad everything’s back to normal,” Kagome sighs in the water.

“Indeed,” Sango agrees.

“Hot springs are the best conveniences ever made,” I sigh.

“I agree,” Kagome says.

“I’m just glad to get away from that hentai, Houshi-sama,” Sango says irritated.

“Been doing the usual,” I ask.

“As you can guess. Lately, though, he hasn’t been peeking on us taking baths,” she says.

I smirk,” You can thank Kouga for that. He says that if he ever sees Miroku spying on us again, he’s dead. I guess it’s a protection thing.”

“I’m going to have to thank Kouga later,” Sango says. We all laugh. We discuss more things and walk back to the campsite to find nothing out of the ordinary.

“Did you enjoy your baths,” Miroku asks.

“Yes very much. Mainly because we didn’t have a certain hentai monk spying on us,” Sango says glaring at him. Me and Kagome followed suit and all the guys cringe, feeling sorry for Miroku.

“They are scary when they’re mad,” Shippo mutters to Ginta and Hakkaku.

“Yea,” they both gulp. Miroku scoots up against a tree and says,” Now, now ladies.”

We gang up around him and then turn around on queue and sit away from him. He passes out from shock, causing me and the girls to smirk.

“Remind me to never make them angry,” Inuyasha says to Kouga. Kouga nods back. Inuyasha then took perched in a tree, keeping watch. Ginta and Hakkaku were told by Kouga to keep watch with him.

“Why do we have to keep watch Kouga,” Ginta whines.

“Inuyasha seems like he can handle himself,” Hakkaku adds.

Kouga punches both in the back of their heads. “You bakas! I said to keep watch because we’re guarding the Shikon-no-Tama and now the Silver Crystal. We need all the watchers we can get. I’m not sure if Mutt can be dependant on forever.”

“What the hell is that supposed to mean wolf,” Inuyasha demands.

“Inuyasha, if you have another fight with Kouga tonight, you’ll get you know what, 500 feet below the Earth,” Kagome warns. Inuyasha just turns his head away and grumbles. After that interlude, we all went to bed. Me and Kouga beside each other, Kagome with Shippo, and Sango far away from Miroku and Kirara curled up beside her. Luna was beside Kirara.

****************************************

The next day, we arrived in a village believed to have an attacking youkai with a Shikon shard. When we were walking into the village, everyone stared in horror at us because we were traveling with youkai.

A girl with wavy brown hair tied back into a ponytail and green eyes stood still in horror looking at us.

“W…why are you…h…here,” she stuttered out.

Miroku stepped up, saying,” Excuse me miss, but we are here to exterminate a youkai.”

“You are friends with youkai,” she asked in disbelief.

I decided to step in. I had a good hunch who she reminded me of. “Um excuse me. We are hoping you’d tell us a little bit about the youkai terrorizing this village?”

“Come with me,” she murmured. “But be sure to keep your demons under control.”

All of the youkai and Inuyasha growled at that remark. “Not to be rude miss, but these are not our property. These are our friends,” I explained.

“Very well then. Follow me.” She led us into a small hut.

Kagome was the first to ask,” Do you live here by yourself?”

“Yea. My parents were killed by that youkai. I’m just a little jumpy at them all now. Please forgive me for earlier. My name is Makoto.” My eyes opened wide at that realization. She has to be Sailor Jupiter! The Makoto in the anime had her parents were killed in an airplane accident so that was why she was terrified of them, just as the one here was terrified of youkai since they killed her parents.

“It’s quite alright Makoto-san,” Sango said gently.

“Is there something wrong,” Kouga whispered to me.

“N…nothing’s wrong,” I lie.

Makoto started telling us about a tiger youkai that was very large and powerful.

“This is defiantly the work of a jewel shard,” Sango murmured.

“A what,” Makoto asked.

“It’s a shard of a powerful jewel, the Shikon-no-Tama,” Miroku explains. “Many demons are after its power. That tiger youkai has a shard in it that makes it all the more powerful.”

“That’s horrible,” she murmured.

“Indeed it is,” he sighs.

“You remind me of my ex-boyfriend,” Makoto says suddenly. Miroku falls over anime style, while Sango is seething. I roll my eyes. Yep, defiantly Jupiter…

We were interrupted by Kagome who said,” I sense a jewel shard approaching fast.”

I go to the side of the hut to transform where no one was around. “MOON CRYSTAL POWER, MAKE-UP!” I then became Sailor Moon. Luna appears beside me.

“Luna, Makoto is Jupiter,” I say to her.

“How are you so sure,” she asks running along-side me.

“I have my ways. You can wait until her mark shows up though, but I’m just saying to keep a close eye on her.”

“Right.” She runs beside Makoto who looked scared beyond her mind. Shippo and Kouga’s lackeys are with them.

I run to battle, hearing a certain hanyou shouting,” KAZE NO KIZU!” The giant tiger youkai dodges the attack. Kouga tries to kick it, but the beast only flings his body into the ground.

“KOUGA,” I shout, running toward him.

“Sailor Moon,” he says in pain. I see him struggle to stand up. The tiger youkai quits avoiding attacks and turns towards me.

“Little girl, hand over the crystal,” it growls.

“No chance youkai,” I say charging towards it with my scepter. “MOON PRINCESS HALATION!” The attack does little against it. “It’s not working!” What the hell am I supposed to do now?! The youkai then swipes me away with its claws. I land into Kouga’s arms. “Nice catch,” I comment.

“It was nothing,” he smirks and drops me off so he can kick the tiger’s head in.

“Kagome where’s the jewel shard,” Inuyasha demands.

“It’s in the youkai’s back,” Kagome shouts.

Sango was on Kirara and threw her boomerang, shouting,” HIRAIKOTSU!” It succeeded on it getting cut in half. “Oh no! Hiraikotsu!”

Miroku was on the ground hitting it with his staff. He flung sutras at the youkai, exclaiming,” Have a taste if my OFUDAS!” A few flew on its head, making the tiger howl in agony. Being blinded, the tiger ran around, swiping at everything. It flung Miroku a few feet, making him hit the ground hard, knocking him unconscious.

“HOUSHI-SAMA,” Sango shouts, getting off of Kirara and running towards him.

Inuyasha took his chance to attack again,” KAZE NO KIZU!” This time it struck the tiger, making it growl in more pain. However, when the cloud of smoke cleared, the tiger only had a few scratches on it.

“Damn this thing just won’t die,” Kouga shouted in annoyance.

Kagome, who already fired a arrow, notched back another. “Sailor Moon you thinking what I’m thinking?” I nod and get in my attacking stance.

“MOON PRINCESS HALATION!” My attack was followed with her arrow overhead. Both were dead on the target. The tiger broke the arrow with its paw, but my attack still hit its side. It left a singe mark.

“How is it this powerful with just one jewel shard,” I demand.

“Tiger youkai are already generally powerful enough in their own rite,” Kouga explains.

“I had enough of this annoyance! Prepare to die,” the youkai shouts. It jumps into the air and lands on the ground, creating an earthquake.

Kouga grabs me, the now conscious Miroku takes Sango, and Inuyasha with Kagome, jumps away from the ground, but when forced to land, takes most of the hit. All of the guys were battered badly. We all start to get up slowly, but in pain.

I see Makoto start to get up and run in front of the tiger youkai. “I will no longer allow you to hurt people. It’s time for you die,” she says angrily.

“What will you do pathetic human,” the tiger sneers.

“Destroy you.” Her forehead glows with the mark of Jupiter: a figure that looked like a slanted green number four. The lighted seemed to blind the tiger youkai.

“I knew it,” I mumble.

Luna then tosses Makoto the Jupiter Transforming Pen, shouting, “Hurry, hold up the pen and say ’Jupiter Power.’” She nods and does what Luna says.

“JUPITER POWER, MAKE-UP,” she shouts and transforms into the Lightening Senshi: Sailor Jupiter.

“Now shout the attack,’ Supreme Thunder,” Luna explains to her.

She nods and shouts,” DIE YOUKAI! SUPREME THUNDER!” The antenna from her tiara, forms and lightening bolts strike down the youkai. The tiger is halfway defeated.

“MOON PRINCESS HALATION!” The youkai was now disintegrated, only leaving the Shikon shard behind. Kagome picks up the shard and purifies it, before putting it with the others.

“Welcome to the team Sailor Jupiter,” I say cheerfully to her.

“Thanks Sailor Moon,” she says back.

“We need to tend to these people,” Luna suggested. We nod and the demons and hanyou help carry the wounded into the hut to tend to their wounds.

After a few hours, we were getting better. Jupiter and I detransform.

“So you’ll be interested in traveling with us? Since now you‘re Sailor Jupiter,” I explain to Makoto.

“I will go with you. I have nothing here,” she says sadly.

“You have us now,” Miroku says, using his player smile. The rest of us roll our eyes as he takes a hold of her hands and causes her to blush. “You are a beautiful woman Makoto-sama.”

“Um, I wouldn’t do that to Makoto if I were you,” I warned.

He ignores my warning and continues,” Would you do the honors of bearing my child?” Makoto sweat-drops and then all of the sudden Miroku was against the opposite wall with a black eye.

“I was wrong! You are nothing like my ex-boyfriend,” she exclaimed with her clenched fist still in the air. I just laughed. Mako-chan will be a great asset to our team.
