Turtlequeen2: Thanks to my friend, vbollman for the review! Sorry for the wait. I had the worst case of writer’s block!

Sailor Moon: You left them all waiting at an important part! That’s injustice!

Turtlequeen2: I know…I know! Sorry Kagome!

Kagome: I’m going to have to agree with Sailor Moon on this one.

Turtlequeen2: I know. Well I’ll get on with it so I won’t get turned into moon dust. I do not own Sailor Moon or Inuyasha. Rumiko Takahashi has Inuyasha and Naoko Takeuchi has Sailor Moon. Go figure.

WARNING: FLUFF BETWEEN KOUGA AND CYNTHIA!

Last time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

He laughs,” So Sailor Moon, is no other than a weak human girl?! No matter, I have the Silver Crystal now!”

Kagome aims an arrow towards Naraku’s head,” DIE!” The arrow cuts his face and he instantly glares at her.

“You think that little arrow will stop me, now that I have this,” he sneers, holding up my brooch. The Silver Crystal started to glow dark and tainted.

“NO,” I shout. Naraku knocks Inuyasha and I away as well. Inuyasha had a tentacle go through his chest.

“INUYASHA,” Kagome shouted. She glares at Naraku in anger. “You bastard! You’re going to die now!”

Suddenly, her forehead starts to glow red. As I look closer, I am in shock. On her forehead is the familiar mark of Mars! Luna, who is in hiding, looks in shock too. Kagome is Sailor Mars?!

This time on Princess Cynthia and Prince Kouga:

Chapter 13

The Fire of Mars: Part 2

******Cynthia’s POV******

Mar’s mark blinded Naraku, who was in front on her.

“LUNA,” I shout.

She runs out onto the battlefield and tosses Kagome the transforming pen. “Shout Mars Power, Make-Up,” Luna exclaims in haste.

Kagome nods and shouts,” MARS POWER, MAKE-UP!” Within seconds, the Sailor Senshi of Fire was born; Sailor Mars. After she transformed, the red light disappeared and Naraku had sight again.

“Another one is Kikyo’s reincarnation,” he asked in shock.

“Shout: ‘Fire Soul’,” Luna shouts behind the bushes.

“FIRE SOUL,” Kagome screamed, holding the stance I’ve only seen on the anime. The fire came from her fingers and slammed into Naraku full force, making him shout out in surprise.

I ran to Jupiter’s side to check on her arm. “Are you ok,” I ask.

“I think I’ll be alright,” she responded weakly.

“Can you make one last attack?”

“I think so.”

“Then I have a plan.”

“Sailor Mars,” I call out to her. Me and Jupiter run up to Mars. “You’re going to attack Naraku at the same time on my signal, ok?”

“Right,” they both said.

“You shall all die,” Naraku states, holding out the Silver Crystal and blasting an evil energy blast from my brooch.

“NOW,” I shout. They both nod.

“FIRE SOUL!”

“SUPREME THUNDER!” Their powers mixed together to take on the blast. It was equal in strength.

“We need more power,” Mars shouts in exasperation.

“KAZE NO KIZU,” came a strangled cry out of nowhere. We turned our glances at Inuyasha, who was limping our way with Tetsusaiga. His attack joined theirs, and it was too much for Naraku. The evil hanyou cried out in agony as the lights surround him.

All that was left, was his head.

“KAZAANA,” came Miroku’s battle cry, as he tried to suck in Naraku’s head. Then Saimyoushou came out as expected, but he kept it open to distract Naraku’s attention as I ran to retrieve my brooch. It instantly purified at my touch.

Miroku finally closed up his after he saw that I had my brooch back, but he was already poisoned. “HOUSHI-SAMA,” Sango shouted, running to his side as he fell.

“MOON CRYSTAL POWER,” I shouted.

“MOON PRINCESS HALATION!” My attack proved useless as he laughed. His miasma surrounded him and deflected my attack.

“I shall see you soon, Sailor Moon,” he called out as he disappeared.

Kouga appeared beside me. “Are you alright,” he asked.

“Yea, I think so. Are you hurt,” I responded.

“I’m fine. I’m a youkai, remember,” he joked.

“SAILOR JUPITER,” came Shippo’s cry. We immediately ran to the sound of the kitsune’s voice. We found her detransformed and passed out in her own blood. Ginta, Hakkaku, and Luna came out of hiding too.

“Oh no, this is my entire fault,” I cried. “She was more injured than I thought!”

Kouga put his hand on my shoulder. “Let’s just take her to the old miko,” he suggested.

Sailor Mars detransformed back into Kagome. “Shippo, can you go get my first aid kit,” she asked, dropping to Makoto’s side.

Shippo reappeared with her first aid kit and she bandaged her up to the best of her ability. She then turned to Inuyasha who was having labored breathing from the loss of blood.

“Oh no, we have to go to Kaede’s fast. Inuyasha is hurt badly and is loosing a lot of blood,” Kagome explained.

Sango nodded her head. “Kirara, do you think you can carry Inuyasha, Makoto, and Miroku to Kaede’s hut?” The neko-youkai nodded her head. “Go then and we’ll follow after. Don’t stop for anything!” After our injured friends were put on her, Kirara flew off.

“I hope they’ll be ok,” I murmured.

“They will be,” Sango said, trying to smile.

“How are we supposed to get there anytime soon,” I ask.

“Well, the trip will take about one day to get back,” Sango explained.

“We’ll just have to walk then,” I sigh. “Kagome, I never thought you were Sailor Mars.”

“Yea, I never would’ve thought. Does this make me the reincarnation of the Princess of Mars,” Kagome asked.

“Indeed, it does,” Luna says, hopping into my arms. Shippo was on Kagome’s shoulder. Ginta and Hakkaku were following behind the rest of us.

“But I’m confused. I’m supposed to be the reincarnation of Kikyo,” she says in puzzlement. “Also if I’m to be both, what would that make Kikyo?”

“Perhaps we should ask Kaede on this,” suggested Sango. The rest of us nod.

“On the plus side, if you want to call it that, you’ll be more powerful than Kikyo. You’re more than just a miko now,” I said to her.

“I don’t know whether to laugh or cry,” Kagome said back sarcastically.

“According to the anime, you usually regain your memories through dreams,” I explain. “That’s what happened to me.”

“Yea, it happened to me too,” Kouga added in.

“Yes, but if that was true, how come I haven’t had dreams from Kikyo’s point of view,” Kagome asked, deep in thought.

“I don’t know. Have you ever thought that you weren’t her reincarnation? Maybe you just shared souls because it is already guaranteed that you are the reincarnation of Mars. You have the mark on your forehead. You can’t deny that,” I responded. Kagome and the rest nod in agreement. Kouga and Shippo looked very confused.

“Why don’t we take care of one thing at a time,” Sango suggested. “We have to make sure the rest of them are going to be ok.” We all agreed and continued walking.

~~~~~~THE NEXT DAY~~~~~~
******Kouga’s POV******
We arrived at the village as predicted. Inuyasha healed pretty fast considering his demon blood. He was resting, still recovering from the loss of blood. The monk was still unconscious. I guess the poison was still bad. Makoto was in arm sling. She was confined to her bed until she could regain strength.
Cynthia was in shock at the damage brought on them. She still was upset over Makoto’s injury. I decided to talk to her about it.
I took her aside, in an abandoned field. “Cynthia, its not your fault,” I said gently.
“But Makoto was still injured badly and I didn’t notice. If it wasn’t for me, she wouldn’t have lost consciousness and might be able to move right now,” she said with tears in her eyes.
“If she didn’t do it, we’d all be dead! Without her attack, Inuyasha and Kagome wouldn’t have been able to defeat Naraku.” She nods and wraps her arms around me.
“I’m just so worried about them! I felt so useless…I never felt so weak when Naraku took my brooch. If they didn’t stop them…” I silenced her by covering my mouth over hers. Her eyes widened, but she started falling into the kiss.
“They’ll be alright. We will kill Naraku for what he’s done to us,” I say to her after reluctantly pulling away. She sighs into my chest and my arms tighten around her.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, but Kaede needs to talk to you, Cynthia,” Luna said, appearing underneath us. Damn that cat, interrupting a good moment! She slowly pulled away and looked at me with questioning eyes.
“Let’s go,” I sigh. We all run to the old miko’s hut. “What do you want,” I asked, popping in.
“Ye can join us also, wolf,” the old woman said, sitting in the middle of the hut. Everyone was in there except the Ginta and Hakkaku.
“What’s so important,” my mate asked.
“Please explain how Kagome is the reincarnation of the Princess of this ‘planet Mars,’” Kaede requested. Then Cynthia explained again, the things she told Kagome before we got back here.
“I see. Mayhap, Kagome only shares souls with my elder sister,” she mutters in thought.
“That’s what I thought too,” Cynthia responds.
“How is this possible though,” Kagome asked. I personally, was confused. Who was this Kikyo person everyone kept mentioning? Every time her name was mentioned, the scent of Kagome showed depression. Inuyasha’s gaze even grew more cold. I’ll have to ask later.
“The Shikon-no-Tama knew that ye were worthy to become the new protector because ye possessed the leftover soul of Kikyo. That would explain why Kikyo doesn’t have powers such as ye. She cannot control fire. Perhaps I have been wrong to say that ye were my sister’s reincarnation,” Kaede explains.
“But why would I look like her so much then,” Kagome asks.
“But you also look just like Princess Mars. Exactly like her, now that I think about it,” Cynthia adds. Kagome nods in understanding.
“Such a dilemma,” the monk says out of nowhere.
“HOUSHI-SAMA,” Sango shouts, running to where he laid. The monk regained consciousness and we all turned to him.
“Are you feeling alright,” Cynthia asked, walking towards him.
“I’m feeling a lot better,“ the monk said. He was close to raising his hand where it shouldn’t be, so I growled to get his attention. He quickly retracted and looked at the two women in pure innocence. I rolled my eyes and Inuyasha had the gull to laugh.
We also heard Makoto’s soft laugh. Cynthia went to her as well. “How are you feeling Mako-chan?”
“Like hell. I can’t even move my arm,” she says.
“Is there anything I can do for you,” Cynthia asks.
“No. I over heard you thinking it was your fault that I lost all of that blood,” she said gently. I instantly smelt tears from Cynthia. Makoto smiled and continued,” It’s not really. It’s my duty as a Sailor Senshi to protect you, the princess and the Silver Crystal. I would be willing to give my life to make sure you are safe.”
“I won’t have anyone die for me! You’re my friend and I’m supposed to help protecting the Silver Crystal.”
“But you did. While I was blacked out, I witnessed my past life. I remember everything now. I already did die for you and I’ll gladly do it again.” Cynthia simply shook her head and cried. I didn’t know what to do. I felt the same way she did. I’d never want Ginta or Hakkaku to die, protecting me. It’s my duty to protect them since I’m their leader. I just went and put my arms around her. After a few minutes, she stopped crying and hugged Makoto.
“You are truly a great friend Mako-chan, but I’ll do whatever is possible to fight and not loose anyone’s lives.” Kagome and Sango looked close to tears. Inuyasha looked concerned, but that was quickly broken up.
After silence for 10 minutes Kagome spoke. “Inuyasha, I’m going home,” she called and started to pack up her things. Cynthia started to do the same with her stuff and Luna jumped into her arms.
“I’m going too,” Cynthia called too.
“NANI,” me and the mutt shouted at the same time. I wasn’t letting my woman leave that easily! I noticed the rest of the group sighed.
I heard the kitsune whisper to the old crone,” Shouldn’t known that Kouga would be a big baka like Inuyasha is in these situations.”
“What did you just say,” I growled at the little youkai. He jumped into the tajiya’s arms before I could get a hold of him. I then gave up and turned back to Inuyasha and the two girls who were walking away and arguing.
“Inuyasha, we need to go get more supplies! Her family doesn’t even know what happened to her and we need to make up tons of work at school,” Kagome shouted at the hanyou.
“What if Naraku comes back,” Inuyasha demanded. “We need to gather more jewel shards!”
“For once I agree with the mutt,” I say, walking up to them. Inuyasha looked at me like I sprouted two heads.
“You’re only saying that because you don’t want me to go,” Cynthia said, smirking at me.
“What if I am,” I demanded.
“We’ll only be gone for a week. Then we’ll be back. I’m sure Inuyasha wants more ramen and you want more potato chips. You both ate the whole stock in less than two days,” my woman says.
“I don’t care about chips if you’re not here to share them with,” I say.
“You’re making it really hard for me to go,” Cynthia sighed. “So I better leave before I change my mind.” My tail hanged between my legs in defeat. She kissed my cheek and started dropping her stuff into the well. Kagome smiled gently at me.
Inuyasha started the argument between him and her again. “Inuyasha, you’re more stubborn than Kouga-kun!”
“Yea, cause I don’t give up that easily,” he commented.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean, mutt,” I hollered, angry.
“Exactly what I said, wolf,” he responded.
“Inuyasha, OSUWARI! We are going back and that’s that,” Kagome, said angrily. Inuyasha plopped onto the ground and I just smirked. Cynthia just shook her head and turned away. They both jumped into the well and it was momentarily surrounded with purple light until it completely was silent. Inuyasha got up and growled.
“Stupid wench,” he muttered. I just decided to run through the forest to blow off steam while he jumps into a tree and growls for the rest of the day.
******Cynthia’s POV******
It felt so good to be back in my own time again! I had so many things to tell my family. I hope that they don’t skin me alive before I tell them though. *sigh*
I climbed out after Luna and Kagome. “I’m dead,” I sigh. “My parents will probably ground me until adulthood.”
Kagome looks at me with troubled eyes. “They don’t even know what demons are and I’m mated to one,” I shout, walking out of the mini shrine.
“Maybe if my family talks to yours, you won’t be in so much trouble. Or if Luna does it for you,” she smiled. We giggled at that one. We walk into the house.
“Mama, I’m home,” Kagome called out. Immediately, I saw her mother embrace her daughter with such force.
“Kagome! We were so worried about you! You were never gone that long before,” her mother cried.
“I know, I’m sorry mom,” she said, puling back from the hug. “Me and Cynthia have a lot to tell you about.”
“That’s Cynthia,” she questions, looking at me.
“But how did you know about her? I never introduced her,” Kagome asked puzzled. I was too.
“Her mother explained her letter to me. It said that she was here with you, traveling through the well,” her mom explained.
“Oh no…is she here,” I ask meekly.
Before she answered, a pair of strong arms embraced me so tight I couldn’t breathe. “CYNTHIA! We were so worried about you! Don‘t you ever do that to us again!” She stepped back and glanced at my messed up outfit. “What happed to you,” she asked more gently.
“Mom, I have a lot to tell you and the rest,” I say to her. We walk into Kagome’s living room and I begin to tell her about what happened since I passed through the well.
