Before we start this chapter folks, you are going to have to know that while I took elements of Data Squad, but I think that other than Commander Sampson and Kudomon, none of the other characters from Data Squad/Season Five of Digimon are appearing in this story. This isn’t the same Data Squad from Season Five of the Digimon series, everyone. This is one created for my story using elements from that season of Digimon and I might be using the other seasons including Tamers and Fusion as elements to this story, folks.

Chapter 3: A Cyber Ninja Surprise

Within the ruins of the Moon Kingdom, Queen Serenity is looking towards Earth and a feeling, a feeling of longing, enters her heart.

Queen Serenity says, “Geminios, my love. Are you really there? I thought… I’m so sorry, but I feel that you don’t blame. However, I fear that you have become obsessed in uniting our family once more and the gentle shadows are possessed by a sinister dark calling. In which I fear… I will not be able to resist.”

(On the meanwhile; Within Geminios)

With said lover of Queen Serenity, he looks at the motionless form of Sailor Moon, who looks like in a deep sleep with a modified NervGear over her head, in which he then looks over to Naruto.

Geminios says, “You were her best friend in the Silver Millennium and you had become part of the heart of my daughter and Endymon. I don’t blame him, but he did hurt my daughter by dying on her. However, I know that he did it for his love for his people and most of all, the love of my daughter. She has lost so much and you are among what she has left. I will have her heart healed by helping you.” Just then a dark glow comes from Geminios eyes and he says, “They kept me from my beloved Serenity. My queen and my one true love, but they are gone and now, nothing will stop me for having my beloved family. And you, you have suffered so much and deserve not one drop of suffering in which you have a right to everything in your world, Naruto. You and my daughter will unite the worlds of Earth and Gaea and the universe which is rightfully yours. I will see to my family’s happiness no matter what.”

(Later on; Within Cyberspace)

On the meanwhile, we are inside of the cyberspace of Data Squad, which is a virtual matrix that looks similar to the ‘virtual world’ of ‘The Grid’ found in ‘Tron: Legacy’ movie where we find inside one of the ‘cyber-buildings’, there is a humanoid figure in front of a control panel in which when we get a closer look we find that he is a humanoid male with green eyes and wings, shoulder length blonde hair. He wears a crown, a long dark green robe and a green cloak, both with an emerald-like jewel. He has a pale skin, long pointed ears like an elf.

The humanoid male says, “Kayaba, I will show you that I am superior to you in every way. You were fool to use such technology for stupid games. I will prove that I deserve to be a true deity and finally, get my revenge on that wretched brat, Kirito, as well as his friend, Daisuke Motomiya and his precious Data Squad. Those fools can’t stop me this time.” But then alarms blare out and the humanoid male yells out, “What’s going on?!” Just then multiple screens appear in front of and on the control panel saying ‘Access Denied’ and ‘Unauthorized Access Detected’ and he yells out, flabbergasted, “No! No! No! That virus was perfect! How could these fools have found me out?!”

A female voice then says, “The last person that had a ‘deity complex’, I gave her the proper punishment that she deserves, baka!” The humanoid male then whips around to see Sailor Moon right in front of him.

The humanoid male yells out, stunned, “Sailor Moon?! But…?!”
Sailor Moon responds, “Impossible? Not! And now, it’s time for your punishment, Oberon, or should I say, Sugou Nobuyuki.” Sailor Moon then bashes the humanoid male right in his face and he screams as he is sent flying out the ‘virtual screen’ in the ‘cyber building’ which is a large tower that they are in, but the humanoid male extends his wings and he takes fight.

The humanoid male, none other than Sugou Nobuyuki, a former director in RECT Progress Inc. before being arrested for inhuman experiments on 300 survivors of SAO, in his ALO avatar of Oberon, says, slyly, “Ha! Stupid blond!”

Sailor Moon’s voice booms, “You were saying idiot?!” When Sugou looks towards the voice, he yelps out in fear as Sailor Moon, with her wings out, is following him in the air at top speed and like the coward that he is, he flies away scared as Sailor Moon easily keeps up with him.

(Around the same time; back in the ‘Real World’)

Within the ‘real world’, we are in the commander center of the Data Squad as Kari, Ken, Yolei, Cody, their Digimon partners, the Sailor Scouts, Minato, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Sai, Team 8, Team 10, led by Yamato, and Team Guy, Kazuto, Asuna, Keiko, and Rika are with Commander Sampson and Kudomon with a large holographic screen displaying Davis Motomiya, who is currently virtualized, transformed into digital information and transported into the ‘cyber universe’, is riding on a virtual hover board as he is heading to the location in the Data Squad’s ‘virtual matrix’.

Mia, one of the control room member, says, “We have managed to isolate what the second intruder was attempting to get.”

Commander Sampson replies, “What is it?”
Kena, another member of the control room, responds, “It is the research data of the inhuman experiments of Sugou Nobuyuki!”

There are gasps of shock and Kazuto says, with a deepening glare, “Sugou…”

Mia says, with a nod, “Confirmed! It was the copy of the data that Davis managed to get to use in Sugou’s trial!”

Kudomon says, “It is either someone wants to continue his research or it could be that it is Sugou himself that wants it.”

Mia yells out, “Commander, we have a lock on the second intruder and Sailor Moon!”

Commander Sampson responds, “On screen!” On another holographic screen, it shows the screen between Sailor Moon and Sugou in which Asuna and Kazuto gasp in shock.

Asuna says, “It’s Oberon… I mean Sugou!”

Rika asks, surprised, “It is?”

Kazuto says, with a sneer, “Yeah, Liz. It’s him. That’s his ALO avatar, Oberon, the King of Fairies, or should I say the ‘king of thieves’.” Kazuto clenches his hand into a fist in which plenty of the others notice.

Commander Sampson pushes a button and Kudomon asks, into a communication unit, “Did you get that Davis?”

On the screen showing Davis, he responds, “Loud and clear! So, that sicko wants to continue his ‘brain jacking work’, huh? We should have sealed him in cyber space for good!”

Commander Sampson says, “You must capture his avatar, so, we can track him back to his real body!”

Davis replies, “Understood, commander, but you are going to have to excuse for me to beat the crap out of this guy for what he did to Kazuto’s girlfriend and all of those victims from SAO that he put through such torture!”

Kudomon responds, “If you didn’t, we would be surprised, Davis.”

Davis says, with a grin, “That’s me! Anyway, get rid of that information once and for all! He didn’t get here by himself! Someone helped him and that person must have been good to get a virus into our system that we needed help to get rid our ‘bug problem’.”

Kudomon responds, “That’s a good point.”

Commander Sampson says, “Agreed. He is already a convicted criminal and it is too dangerous to keep that information. We will be deleting it immediately.”

Kudomon says, “That leaves the question of why Sailor Moon is in our mainframe.”

Sailor Jupiter asks, “What do you mean?”

Kudomon says, “Forgive me, but I don’t think that your princess is here just to help us with our ‘problem’ here. Based on what we know, she must be here on the orders of her ‘royal father’.”

Sailor Pluto says, with a sigh, “I fear that Kudomon has a point.”

Sailor Neptune says, with a solemn tone, “I fear that I have to agree with such a point. With our princess having lost a lot of her memories and the only memories that she has is so painful added to the fact that she knows that she has been in a coma-like state for over two long years, which is two years of her life lost, she isn’t going to be herself.”

Yolei says, with a nod, “No kidding, Sailor Neptune-san.”

Ken says, with a sigh, “Plenty of us know how that feels.”

Cody says, “Two years of our lives fighting in a virtual ‘death game’ and it is still hard for us to reintegrate back here in the ‘real world’.”

Gatomon says, “Unfortunately that’s what making her venerable to ‘outside influence’ like that father of his.”

Sailor Pluto says, “While Geminios was of the ‘darkness’, per say, he wasn’t an evil man.”

Sailor Uranus tells Sailor Pluto, “WAS not maybe right, Pluto. He was sealed away from the woman that she loved and he never got to see his family grow up. It could leave a person quite bitter for one thing and two, he would want that family back.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “But what does that have to do with Naruto?”

Sailor Mercury says, “We’ve only known him for a short time, but we became very close to Naruto. Naruto is precious to Sailor Moon since he is one of the few people that she remembers and I believe that’s what’s driving her.”

Sailor Mars says, “What that’s driving her to is what’s going me worried, Mercury.”

Sailor Jupiter asks, “Has you seen something, Mars?”

Sailor Mars says, “I see a large dragon made of crimson energy and this crimson energy seems to glow with a light that gives warmth and life and a group of dragons surrounding it. I can tell that they are noble dragons, but the shadows of these noble dragons come to life and the shadow of a dragon that’s blue in color and has a pair of rainbow fairy wings coming out of her back surrounds Sailor Moon.”

Rika asks, “Are you psychic or something?”

Sailor Venus says, “She is Liz. Sailor Mars has ESP, but she can see only the possible futures, however, her predictions have helped us prevent those ‘bad futures’ from happening.”

Keiko says, amazed, “Wow.”

Sailor Neptune asks, “A shadow of a noble dragon engulfing Sailor Moon?”

Sailor Mars says, “That’s what I saw.”

Sailor Pluto says, “A dragon made of crimson energy that gives life… The Crimson Dragon.”

Yolei asks, “Crimson Dragon?”

Sailor Pluto says, “A powerful and ancient sacred dragon that protected our planet ages ago from evil entities known as the Earthbound Immortals, beings from a ‘netherworld’, with a group of dragons known as the Signer Dragons. They fought against the immortals and sealed them away in a place known as the Nazca Lines.”

Cody asks, “The Nazca Lines in South America are a seal for evil monsters?”

Sailor Pluto says, “Yes.”

Sailor Mercury says, “Hold on. Some years ago, there was an incident at Neo Domino City with strange dark flames that were taking the shape of the Nazca Lines within the city and the Nazca Lines were mysterious vanishing.”

Sailor Pluto says, with a smile, “That’s right, Mercury. The Crimson Dragon and the Earthbound Immortals were involved in what happened some time ago, but that’s a mood point for the moment.”

Sailor Mars says, “Yeah. Right now, we got to focus on our amnesiac princess chasing down a freak that wants to be a deity and loves mind control and brainwashing in a virtual world.”

Sailor Saturn asks, “If they are using Full-Dive, a NervGear or Amusphere, wouldn’t there be a way to track it?”

Kudomon says, “Actually, we have ways to track NervGear and Amusphere since we were handling them during the whole of the SAO crises and beyond.”

Commander Sampson says, “However, the virus introduced by Sugou hasn’t completely cleared yet and we can’t get a lock on either of the Full Dives that they are using. All we can do is containing them for causing any more damage.”

Just then Izzy’s voice says, “Well, we have a friend that might help with that.” Everyone looks to see Izzy come into the room with a floating projector and he says, “This is a favor that I did for Davis in which I used Solid Vision technology typically used for Duel Disks for this.” The projector activates and a solid image of someone that looks like a little girl with long dark hair and bright black eyes wearing a long white one-piece dress appears in front of everyone.

Kazuto and Asuna yell out in unison, “Yui-chan?!”

The little girl looks at Kazuto and Asuna and she says, with a smile, “Papa! Mama!”

Kari asks, surprised, “Papa? Mama?”

Sailor Jupiter asks, looking at Kazuto and Asuna, “Aren’t you a little young for a kid?”

Izzy says, “Davis actually explained to me. He said that he met her when he and Kazuto were in ALO. She is actually an AI… Well, actually, she is more like an AL or what we call an artificial life-force. She was supposed to be a mental health consoling program for SAO.”

Sailor Uranus asks, “Mental health program?”

The ‘holographic girl’, Yui, responds, “That’s right. I was created by the developers of the SAO system, Cardinal, to motion the emotional details of the players and aid those with potential issues.”

Izzy says, “But on the day that the SAO incident began, she was given an order not to interfere with the players at all which went against her prime directive.”

Sailor Mars says, “Kayaba.”

Izzy says, “That’s the leading theory of Kazuto-san and Davis believe and I think so as well. As you may expect, that order contradicted one of her prime directives, which was counseling of the players, and as you may expect, the majority of them were engulfed in fear, anger, despair, and various other negative emotions. With those contradictions in place, she basically ‘crashed’, but when she began monitored Kazuto-san and Asuna-san, their purely positive emotions created something within her: Curiosity. Since while she had been monitoring basically mainly negative emotions, Kazuto-san’s and Asuna-san’s positive emotions caused her already damaged programming to start to rebuild itself into something much more.”

Ken asks, “More?”

Izzy says, with a smile, “It was prodigious! She started to gain true sentience! And from what I could tell, she isn’t too much different from any Digimon! A living being made of data and information!”

Yui says, with a smile, “And thanks to Izzy-san, I can be with my Papa and Mama. Uncle Davis helped me.”

Yolei asks, “Uncle Davis?”

Kazuto says, “Davis got to know Yui-chan when we were in ALO to save Asuna and the other remaining trapped players.”

Yui says, “Uncle Davis is great! He brought me to his friend and now, I can finally be with Mama and Papa! Well, sort of.”

Asuna says, with a warm smile, “It’s so good to see you, again, Yui-chan.”

Yui says, with a smile, “I’m glad that I can be with you and Papa, Mama.” Rika gives a slight look of disappointment and Keiko is curious about that look.

Kazuto says, “I’m thinking that Davis stole my NervGear and download Yui to allow you to work on it, Izzy-san.”

Izzy says, with a smile, “Yeah. I have to say that your adopted daughter is incredible.”

Tentomon then appears and he says, “Izzy really wanted to ask her so many questions, but Davis told her if he wants to face the wrath of her ‘parents’, he just get what he asked done.” Izzy rubs his head and looks a bit nervously as Kazuto and Asuna in which Asuna looks a bit annoyed at Izzy, but she gives him a grateful smile.

Yui asks, looking at the holographic screen, “What is Uncle Davis doing in the virtual matrix?”

Davis’ voice then calls out from the communication device, “Oh, is Yui-chan there? I can hear her over the communication link!”

Yui yells out, “I’m here Uncle Davis!”

Kazuto tells Davis, “We have gotten your surprise, Davis.”

Asuna says, with a warm smile, “Thank you, Davis.”

Davis says, with a grin, “What can I say? I’m just that kind of guy.” Davis then asks, seriously, “Anyway, Yui-chan, do you remember Floor 75, Collinia, and the duel field that your dad fought against that bad guy, Heathcliff?”

Yui says, with a nod, “Yep!”

Davis responds, “The people with wings are going to hit our virtual matrix’s duel field. The instant that they hit it, activate the simulation function and set it for Collinia with all ‘players’ have stats on the bases of Sword Art Online.”

Yui says, with a nod, “Okay.”

Kudomon asks Commander Sampson, “Are you going to allow this, Sampson?”

Commander Sampson says, “I will trust Davis on this one. Allow her to access our systems for the moment, but keep a close eye on her.” Kazuto and Asuna get irritated looks, but Yui closes her eyes and access the mainframe.

(Within Data Squad’s virtual matrix; A short time soon after)

Back inside of the virtual matrix of Data Squad, Sailor Moon is changing Sugou, in his ‘virtual avatar form’ of Fairy King Oberon, through the virtual matrix where they are stopped as ‘barriers’ appear all around them and transform into a dome.

Sugou asks, “What is this?”

Sailor Moon asks, “This place is changing?” The ‘dome’ engulfs them and a large area which transforms into a large duel field similar to the world of Aincard/SAO in which Davis, in his SAO ‘avatar’ and riding the hover board, flies in.

Sugou yells out, angrily, “You!”

Davis says, with a smirk, “If it isn’t the ‘king of thieves’, I see that you are up to your fairy wings in trouble again.”

Sugou shouts out, angrily, “Shut up, brat! I won’t be denied my place as new deity of this world!”

Davis says, with a snort, “In your twisted dreams, Sugou. The only thing that’s going to happen is you are going back to jail.” Davis says, pointing to all around him, “Welcome to our virtual battle simulation, buster. This place is where we can replicate ‘virtual duels’ including the duel system in Sword Art Online.”

Sugou says, shocked, “I knew that I recognize this! This is a simulation of Kayaba’s game!”

Davis says, “Bingo, jerk! And you aren’t getting out of here unless you fight a duel with me!” Davis says, causing a screen to appear, “And I mean both you and our amnesic Moon girl.”

Sailor Moon says, “Hey! I helped ferret this guy out!”

Davis responds, “Why are you here, princess?”

Sailor Moon says, nervously, “Well…”

Davis retorts, “Don’t play dumb with me, Moon girl.”

Sailor Moon responds, with a stern glare never before seen in her guys, “You have information that I need that could help save my friend.”

Davis asks, “Your dad say so, huh?” However, Sailor Moon doesn’t reply as Davis says, with a smile, “Okay, I get it, but you aren’t getting out of here.” Davis pushes a button on the screen that he ‘popped up’ and four copies of both Elucidator and Dark Repulser appear in which they connect by the hilts making them look like two large shuriken made of swords. Davis grabs them by the hilts, goes down to the ground, and he steps off the hover board which vanishes soon after.

Sugou says, landing on the ground, “You are going to pay for your interference, brat.” Sugou then creates a large golden sword and he says, “And this time, my Excalibur will taste your blood.”

Sailor Moon lands down on the ground, creates an pearly white specter with a dragon head that’s holding a golden crescent moon with eight wings attached to it, and she says, “You aren’t going to hurt anyone else, pal.”

Sugou says, “Hey! He wants to trap you as much as me!”

Sailor Moon responds, “I don’t blame him for doing his job, but I don’t like assholes that mess with people’s mind thinking that they can control the human spirit! You are a fiend in a fairy’s body that’s about to get his just punishment!”

Sugou yells out, “You wench! I won’t get judgment by a so-called famous ‘super-heroine’.” However, Sugou is nervous since it seems like that it is two on one since Sailor Moon seems intent on stopping him before moving onto whatever she is doing in the virtual matrix of Data Squad.

(Back at Geminios’ ‘base’; on the meanwhile)

Rejoining Geminios, he looks down at Sailor Moon, who looks like she is in a deep sleep and a modified NervGear wrapped around her head and scalp, and he then looks at Naruto, who looks in a deep sleep.

Geminios tells Naruto, “You are precious to my daughter, Naruto. Maybe you can heal her heart.” As the dark energy swirl around him and Sailor Moon, we go inside of Naruto’s mindscape where we go through the sewers in which we find an unconscious Naruto where the dark energy going through the passageways of his mind is being prevented from reaching him by none other than Prince Endymon himself.

(Returning to the Data Squad base; Sometime soon after)

In the commander center of Data Squad, everyone is watching the scene unfold in the virtual matrix of Data Squad between Davis, Sugou, and Sailor Moon in which they don’t notice that a certain former ‘Black Swordsman’ and his adoptive daughter are missing until Tai, Sora, Mimi, Matt, Joe, and their Digimon partners enter the room.

Kudomon asks, “What are you doing here?”

Matt says, “Kazuto-san said that the commander wanted us back here and the communications seems to be malfunctioning.”

Commander Sampson says, “I never gave such a command.”

Rika asks, looking around, “Where is Kirito anyway?”

Everyone looks around and Asuna asks, noticing both Kazuto and Yui missing, “Yui?”

Tai then gets the idea and he says, “Uh oh. I think that I know.”

Just then alarms go off and Kena yells out, “Unauthorized virtualization!”

There are gasps of surprise and Mia shouts out, “Someone not authorized has just activated the virtualization process!” Before there could be anything said, they watch on the screen as a figure appears via like a computer generated imagine and that imagines turns into Kazuto when he was Kirito the Black Swordsman of SAO.

Sailor Venus asks, shocked, “Kirito?”

Tai says, with a sigh, “I figured.”

Rika says, with a groan, “There he goes again.”

Asuna says, with a sigh, “Oh, Kirito-kun…” Within the virtual matrix, everyone is surprised by Kazuto AKA Kirito’s appearance.

Sugou shouts out, angrily, “You!”

Davis yells out, stunned, “Dude, what are you doing here?”

Kazuto responds, “Sorry. But I couldn’t stay away.” Kazuto glares with a deadly intent at Sugou, making him a bit nervous, and he says, creating a pop menu with his right hand, “I can never forgive him for what he has done especially what he did to Asuna!” Just then two swords and their sheaths appear on his back in which Kazuto draws his Elucidator and Dark Repulser swords from his back with the intent to kill in his eyes.

Sugou gives a nervous look and then Kena’s voice booms, “Alert! There is an unauthorized… I don’t know! We don’t know what it is!”

Davis yells out, “What do you mean Kena?”

Just then a familiar male voice says, “What she means is that while I am the mind and will of Akihiko Kayaba, I’m not exactly what you call alive per say, Davis.” Everyone then looks to see none other than Akihiko Kayaba, the creator of SAO and NervGear, in his ‘avatar form’ of Heathcliff the Paladin of SAO with his red knight armor, shield, and sword, walking up.

Sugou yells out, angrily, “Kayaba!”

Kayaba/Heathcliff looks over at Sugou and he says, “I see that you haven’t changed a bit, Sugou. You never learn do you? Even I know better that while you can control a world, controlling another person’s soul is not possible and one’s own soul will be destroyed in the process.”

Sugou shouts out, “Shut up! You know nothing!”

Heathcliff says, looking at Davis and Kazuto, “It is thanks to people like them that I know this for a fact for they have taught me the power of human will.”

Davis asks, “What are you doing here?”

Heathcliff says, taking out an orb, “I believe that this is what Sailor Moon and Sugou are looking for. The data on the Corona Aurora.”

There are gasps and within the control room, Commander Sampson shouts out, “Run a scan on our data banks at once!”

Kena responds, typing on her console furiously, “Right away, commander!”

Sailor Pluto says, shocked, “You have knowledge of the Corona Aurora? Due to its power, its location is even unknown to myself!”

There are shocked looks and Sailor Neptune asks, “There is something that you don’t know, Pluto?”

Sailor Uranus asks, “What is this ‘Corona Aurora’?”

Sailor Pluto says, “One of the greatest items in the universe that rival the Silver Crystal, but not in raw power. It is ‘well’ of infinite knowledge that with the crown and its jewels, one could unlock the secrets of all of reality.”

There are multiple gasps and Yolei asks, “You’re kidding?”

Sailor Mars retorts, “Does she look like she’s kidding?”

Izzy says, “I remember that data. It was from an investigation on a Dark Digidestined crime syndicate that was looking for it.”

Kudomon says, “We thought that they were after it for profit as a priceless archeological item.”

Commander Sampson says, “They might still be or was hired to get it by someone that knows the true value of that item. Whatever the case, we need to get that data back.” Commander Sampson says, over a communication system, “Davis, you must get that data back at once! It is vital!”

Within the ‘virtual world’, Davis responds, “Got it!”

Kazuto asks, seriously, “What are you up to this time, Kayaba?”

Sugou says, “Like I give a damn! I want that data!”

The orb absorbs into Heathcliff’s form and he says, drawing his sword, “You know that there is only one way to get it back now.”

“Moon Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Black Swordsman!”

Just then Sailor Moon is engulfed in light and when the light fades away, Sailor Moon is in her form that makes her similar to Kazuto as Kirito the Black Swordsman of SAO and she charges right at Heathcliff.

Sailor Moon yells out, “Aincard! Duel Equip! Elucidator and Dark Repulser!” Just then two swords in their sheaths appear on Sailor Moon’s back and she draws her own version of Elucidator and Dark Repulser swords in which she attacks Heathcliff, who blocks her fast and powerful slash attacks with his shield.

Returning to the control room, the Sailor Scouts are shocked by this and Sailor Jupiter says, “Okay, Sailor Moon must not be thinking right! She would never attack anyone even any of our enemies! Her battle style is always defensive!”

Sailor Mars says, “With a huge chunk of her memories and who knows what kind of emotional toil that she is in, I’m not surprised.”

The group in the control watching the scene in the ‘virtual world’ then hears Heathcliff says, “You are fighting quite aggressively, Miss Moon. That’s so not like you.”

Sailor Moon yells out, “That’s because I’m not going to sit around and let my friends suffer anymore! I need that data to help someone precious to me, but this is more than just that! You have a lot to answer for Kayaba! You trapped two of my friends in your sick death game!”

The Sailor Scouts gasp in shock and Heathcliff says, “Ah, yes. Jupiter and Venus if I do recall.”

Sailor Moon says, “Two years of their lives where they could be having fun with the others and enjoying their lives in which they had instead had to fight for their lives!”

Heathcliff retorts, plainly, “Isn’t that what they did as Sailor Scouts?”

Sailor Moon yells out, in an angered tone that’s so not like her, “Human life is not meant to be toyed with you, bastard of a fiend! Four thousand lives, mainly innocent lives, were lost when you forced them into that causing nothing, but pain, sorrow, and despair! Don’t you regret anything?” When Heathcliff just shrugs, Sailor Moon gains a completely uncharacteristic dark sneer and she roars out, “So, they meant nothing to you? The dreams that you destroyed! The futures that you ended in the worst possible ways! And the two years of the lives of the survivors leaving them possibly scarred forever with the horrible memories of that death game?! You heartless freak!” Sailor Moon’s swords glow, she sends an X-shaped wave that Heathcliff in which he blocks with his shield, but barely, as he is sent backwards about 30 yards.

With others in the virtual world, Davis says, stunned, “Whoa! She is pissed!”

Kazuto says, plainly, “Plenty of family and friends of Kayaba’s victims feel the same way, Davis.”

Sailor Moon says, gripping her swords tightly, “I’ve had enough of your kind. The Negaverse, the Negamoon and Doom Phantom, the Heart snatchers, the Dead Moon, and the Shadow Galactic under that parasite that took control of Sailor Galaxia’s body! I don’t have many memories, but I remember them and what they have done. Sickos like you preying on the innocent! Well, I’m not taking it anymore! No more ‘Miss Nice Sailor Moon’ anymore! You think that destroying your own body and escaping to cyber-space is payment enough for your crimes, think again! Kayaba, it is judgment day for you!”

Heathcliff retorts, “By all means, bring me to justice, Miss Moon.” Sailor Moon and Heathcliff then charge in and continue an intense sword fight.

Within the control room, Keiko says, nervously, “Sailor Moon-san seems really angry and she is scary.”

Sailor Saturn says, “She isn’t herself, Keiko-san. However, she still shows that she is still mainly ‘our Sailor Moon’ for now. She has a kind and caring heart.”

Sailor Uranus says, with a plain tone, “At least, for the moment, she is, despite not being herself, the Sailor Moon that we know deep down.”

Sailor Mars says, with a nod, “She is, but I’m afraid that Meatball Head’s caring heart may be what could lead her into darkness.”

Plenty of people look at Sailor Mars and Ken says, “I think that Mars has a point. She only remembers so much and by the sound of it, much of it isn’t ‘good memories’ including the fact that the person that she loved died saving her life and her friends, the Sailor Scouts, are among the people that she remembers that are precious to her. When I lost my brother, Sam, to that drunk driver, I was so swallowed by despair and anguish that I was easily able to be corrupted by the darkness and turning into a fiend known as the Digimon Emperor.”

Cody says, “And with Sailor Moon’s heart so ‘open’ and ‘caring’, learning what Kayaba did especially two of her precious friends, in her ‘vulnerable state’, it could lead her being ‘corrupted’.”

Ken says, with a nod, “Exactly, Cody. She is becoming as vulnerable or if not more vulnerable as I was to the darkness.” The Sailor Scouts can’t help to get concerned as they watch the battle between Heathcliff and Sailor Moon in the virtual realm.

Back in the virtual realm, Davis tells Kazuto, “Kirito, I’ll take care of Moon girl and that ‘royal pain in the ass’, Kayaba. I’ll leave the ‘fairy king of thieves’ to you.”

Kazuto says, looking at Sugou, “This won’t take long.”

Sugou creates a pop up menu and he yells out, “That’s what you think! I’m glad that you came because now I can have my revenge on you both!” When Sugou pushes a button, the whole area becomes red and alarms start going off causing everyone to stop.

Davis yells out, “What have you done?!”

Back in the control room, Mia yells out, “Commander, the return protocols for the virtualization pods are off-line!”

There are gasps and Commander Sampson asks, “What?”

Kena says, “Confirmed, commander! The virus has disabled the return protocols for the virtualization pods!”

Commander Sampson says, seriously, “Izzy, get to the scanner room and hurry!”

Izzy responds, seriously, “Right!”

Rika asks, “What’s going on?”

Kudomon says, “You can’t just download yourself into cyberspace without making sure that you retain your individuality within the cyber realm or you would become one with cyberspace itself and you would be trapped because you would ‘fuse’ with the data of the greater ‘cyber world’. When a person is virtualize, you come in the form of a ‘virtual avatar’ in the ‘digital world’ and the form is stable by a field that’s basically your HP in which you lose your HP, your form destabilizes and devirtualizes, but normally, due to retrieval programs, your data is automatically collected and returned to flesh and blood within the scanners. However, if the scanner can’t get your data, you can’t be returned to ‘physical matter’ and your data will be scattered in the ‘virtual world’.”

Tai says, with a serious tone, “It is the same situation as when we went into SAO to help all of you. While we could be returned to reality manually, the servers’ protocols in deleting the avatars of the players blocked our emergency return protocols making us unable to return to the real world if our HP reached zero there!”

There are multiple gasps and Sailor Jupiter asks, “Are you saying that this situation is like in SAO?”

Matt says, with a nod, “No joke! If we can’t get that program fixed in time, if Davis and Kazuto get devirtualized now, they will be virtualized possibly forever!”

There are gasps in horror and Asuna shouts out, “Kirito!”

In the virtual world, Sugou just explained the same thing and Davis says, shocked, “Ah, shit! If our HP goes to zero, here, we are good as gone, Kazuto!”

Sugou yells out, evilly, “That’s right, Kirito! And now, it’s payback time!” He pushes more buttons and a large centipede-like skeleton monster appears in front of them.

Kazuto shouts out, “Oh, crap! A Skull Reaper!”

Sugou responds, “That’s right! And this one is stronger than the one that you fought in SAO and you have to defeat it in order to restore your systems or else it is bye-bye!” The Skull Reaper charges in and Davis and Kazuto leap out of the way of its attack, but the shockwave throws them off-balance in which Kazuto barely blocks one of its blade like legs.

Kazuto thinks in his mind, “Crap! This one is way stronger than the one that we faced before on floor seventy-five and it killed fourteen of our best fighters! There is only Davis and me even though I have my power from when I defeated Kayaba, there is no way that we can beat an enhanced version with just the two of us!” Kazuto is sent skidding back and he is barely able to block and dodge its attacks.

Sailor Moon and Heathcliff are watching this and Heathcliff tells Sailor Moon, “It seems like you have a choice to make. Fight me for one life or save two lives from death.” Sailor Moon snarls at Heathcliff and charges in to save Kazuto and Davis from what seems like certain doom.

Sailor Moon yells out, “Hey, skull freak!”

“Moon Starburst Cutters!”

The Skull Reaper turns its head to face Sailor Moon only to get hit with a barrage of energy wave causing it to roar out in pain as its health drops quite a bit.

Davis yells out, “This is our chance!”

Kazuto responds, “Right!” Davis and Kazuto charge in and they land their own blows to the monster, but they only enrage it in which the Skull Reaper bashes its head against Kazuto in which he yelps as he is sent flying into the ground with a loud ‘thud’ causing his health bar to drop by half and both of his swords to clatter on the ground.

Davis yells out, stunned, “Kazuto!” Davis then yells out in pain as he is slashed in the chest by one of the Skull Reaper’s blade-like legs in which he is sent flying backwards, his health bar going to one-quarter, and his sword clattering to the ground.

Back in the commander center, the others are shocked and horrified by this and Asuna yells out, horrified, “Kirito-kun!”

Kari yells out, shocked, “Dai-kun!”

Within the virtual world, Sailor Moon says, shocked, “Oh no!” However, this causes her to stop her attack and the Skull Reaper takes this moment to leap at her, bash her with its head, and Sailor Moon yelps out as she is sent flying to the ground with another ‘thud’, her swords clattering to the ground, and her health bar going down one-half herself. The Skull Reaper then turns to Davis and menacing moves closer to him.
Kazuto tries to get to his feet and he grunts out, “Davis… Davis, get out of there!” Davis struggles to get into a sitting position, but due to the heavy blow, he can’t get to his feet as the Skull Reaper looms to finish him off.

Back in the control room, a holographic screen of the virtualization room appears with Izzy in it and Tai screams out, “Izzy, have you fixed it?!”

Izzy responds, “Not yet! I need a few minutes!”

Matt roars out, “Davis doesn’t have a few minutes! He is about to suffer the same fate as TK! Fix it now!!!” Izzy panics as he tries to fix the program that allows those virtualized into the ‘cyber realm’ to come back to the real world, called materialization, but he can’t get it to work.

Kari yells out, in pure horror, “Davis!” Time seems to slow down as the Skull Reaper prepares to deal the final blow to Davis.

Davis thinks in his mind, “After all this, I get wasted here?! By this sicko mind wrapping freak?! No way! No way! I refuse to die here! I refuse to let it end here! No way! No how! I will find a way even it takes a miracle! There are too many people counting on me! I won’t lose!” Just then a blue mysterious aura surrounds Davis and a huge ‘spiritual’ skeletal hand and arm comes out of the aura and stops the attack of the Skull Reaper right in tracks much to everyone’s shock and surprise. Just then another skeletal arm and hand bursts out of the aura and bashes the Skull Reaper in the face causing it to crash to the ground with a mighty thud.

Sugou shouts out, in disbelief, “What just happened?!”

Davis gets to his feet and he says, confused and surprised, “That’s what I would like to know.”

Just then a deep male voice responds, “It is because that I lent you my power.” Davis whips around to the source of the voice to see none other than Madara Uchiha, in a ‘spiritual form’ of his younger self, appear in front of him.

Everyone else seems him and back in the control room, the Leaf ninja gasp in shock in which Minato says, stunned, “That’s Madara!”

Plenty of the others look at the Leaf ninja and Ino asks, “What’s he doing there?”

Jiraiya says, “Well, I can assure that he isn’t alive in there.”

Kudomon asks, “Just what are we seeing Sampson?”

Commander Sampson responds, “I wish that I can tell you, my friend.”

Back in the virtual world, Davis asks Madara, “Who are you?”

Madara responds, “My name is Madara Uchiha. You have already heard of me.”

Davis retorts, with a glare, “Yeah, I have. And none of it is good. You are basically the pyscho that tried to enslave the world through a stupid ‘dream world’ believing that it was the only way to peace, but ended up to only be a pawn in the game of first person to use chakra in your world and her ‘boy’, Black Zetsu.”

Madara gives an irritated glance and he says, his expression becoming stoic, “As much as I hate to admit it, you are correct. I thought that my way was the way to peace, but the Uzumaki proved me wrong in all sorts of ways. He showed me that the human spirit is far stronger than I gave it credit for when he used its true power to utterly crush me.”

Davis asks, “Okay, so, you are dead and a ghost? What are you doing here?”

Madara says, “To ignite the spark of your power and for you to learn your true heritage.”

Davis asks, confused, “My what?”

Madara responds, “After I had gotten what I had needed from Hashirama in our battle at the Valley of Ends, I was still gravely weakened even after I had injected his cells into me in which I found myself in the care of a woman that I had become ‘smitten’ with. We had a daughter, but the woman died in childbirth which made me more determined to complete my ‘Eye of the Moon Plan’. Out of fear for my daughter, I used a space-time ninjutsu to send her away and she found her way to your world: Earth. That girl, my daughter, was your mother, Davis.”

Davis asks, stunned, “What?!”

Madara responds, with a nod, “That’s correct. I am your grandfather.”

Davis yells out, in disbelief, “No way!”

Back in the ‘real world’, the others are also stunned and Tenten asks, “Davis-san is Madara’s grandson?!”

Yolei says, “You have got to be kidding me!”

Jiraiya says, “Well, this is a twist that even I couldn’t have foreseen.”

Minato says, “No kidding, Jiraiya-sensei.”

Back in the virtual world, Davis yells out, in disbelief, “No way! I don’t believe you!”

Madara retorts, with a glare with his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan eyes, “Do I look like one to kid about such a situation, my grandson? You are of my blood and yet, you are far better a man that I could ever be. I guess this is why the universe wishes to give me another ‘slap in the face’ by making you the third savior.”

Davis asks, “What are you talking about?”

Madara tells Davis, “I’m sure that you have heard of the story of what happened over two years ago: Kaguya’s invasion and attack on Earth to get Uzumaki and his new allies, the Sailor Soldiers. Sailor Moon is the savior, the chosen protector of this world, and the Uzumaki is the heir of the Six Path Sage and the chosen guardian of my home world, Gaea. But you are the one that will bridge and unify the two worlds together, Davis. You, the savior of the Digital World, and the holder of the symbols of Miracles and Life.”

Davis asks, giving a look of surprise, “How do you know the crests that I know?”

Madara responds, with a smirk, “I am a spirit of the afterlife. You shouldn’t be too surprised about that, my grandson.” Madara tells Davis, with a stern tone, “However, you have a grand destiny ahead of you and you have already chosen this path by following the ‘hero’s path’, Davis. You have great power inside of you. Power that can rival the powers of the Uzumaki and the Moon Princess. You have just started to awaken this great power inside of you and the future of the universe lies in your hands. The Uzumaki and the Moon Princess are threaten with being swallowed by the darkness, you and other ‘chosen ones’ must unite, save them, and help them complete their duty and destiny to end the legacy of Kaguya once for all. However, beware, if you don’t overcome the darkness of losing a close comrade, you, like many others, will fall prey to the same ‘Curse of Hatred’ that have destroyed the Uchiha clan including myself. For now, I shall lend you my power to finish this fight.”

Davis says, with a stern tone, “I don’t the power of a madman… Grandfather or not! I’ll do this my own way! If I’m supposed to be this ‘big savior’, then I will do with my own power! If I’m supposed to save the universe, then I’ll do it to make sure that Kari and everyone else doesn’t suffer from madman like you, Kaguya, and Kayaba, pal!”

Madara retorts, with a plain tone, “I see that you are very much annoyingly like Uzumaki. Well, since he has defeated me, it might take that to bring them back to the light. But like it or not, my blood flows in your veins the same as the Dragon Clan of Earth’s blood which has modified the Sharingan and Rinnegan genes, which you have somehow gained through the chakra of the Six Path Sage from me being inside of you, creating a brand new dojutsu that rivals the three great dojutsu, the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan, which you will need to discover on your own and your grandmother’s own unique bloodline. Power that you will need to fight against these ‘sinister forces’. Madara then asks, with a smirk, “And who said that I gave you permission for me not to give you my power?” Just then Davis yelps out as Madara’s ‘spirit’ goes inside of him and covering Davis in a bright glow forcing everyone to cover their eyes.

Back in the control room, Sailor Venus asks, “What’s going on here?” After a minute, the light dies down in which everyone looks to see Davis, but now, he is wearing a flame designed version of Madara Uchiha’s armor with a European medieval knight sword with a golden handle, a hilt guard shaped like a dragon’s head adorned with jewels, and perfectly silvery blade and a samurai sword that a lot like the legendary lost samurai sword, Honjo Masamune, attached to his waist with him sporting Madara Uchiha’s Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan eyes.

There are gasps of shock and Kakashi says, “He… He looks like Madara.”

Kiba asks, “Are you saying that he is possessed?”

Jiraiya says, “No, I don’t think so. I think Madara did what he said that he would do. He would lend him his power.”

Back in the virtual world, Davis says, looking over himself, “Whoa! This is… different.”

There are plenty of shocked looks and Sugou then yells out, “What are you waiting for? Destroy him!” The Skull Reaper roars as it goes over to attack Davis and Davis whips his head in which he creates Madara’s Perfect Susanoo causing everyone to gasp in shock.

Davis says, “Okay, asshole, time to end this game.” Soon after, Davis has Madara’s Perfect Susanoo put out its sword and with one powerful swipe that shakes the whole ‘virtual area’, the Skull Reaper is cut in half and it vanishes into data particles.

Kazuto says, stunned, “Incredible!”

Sugou says, stunned, “Impossible.” Just then he notices the massive ‘spectral warrior’ looming over him and he yelp out in fear.
Davis says, “Normally, I don’t step over people, but you are an exception, jerk!” Soon after, Davis lifts the leg of Madara’s Perfect Susanoo and Sugou screams as it crashes down on him, crushing him flat before he turns into data particles that vanish.

Kazuto says, amazed, “That was… different.” Soon after, Davis retracts Madara’s Perfect Susanoo and Kazuto asks, getting to his feet, “Are you okay, Davis?”

Davis says, with a nod, “Just a bit weird out, bro.”

Kazuto asks, shocked, “You are weird out, Davis?” Just then Kazuto catches a potion and he nods as he restores his health.

Returning to the control room, the view screen of the scanner room with Izzy appears and he yells out, “He did it! The materialization program is working again!”

Commander Sampson says, “Make sure that it is completely de-bugged now and prepared for materialization of both Davis and Kazuto-san fast!”

Izzy responds, “Right!”

Within the virtual world, Davis and Kazuto face off against Heathcliff, who says, “My, you are just full of surprises.”

Davis says, with a snort, “Don’t be so smug asshole.”

Heathcliff says, “Forgive me. Let us take where we left off.” Heathcliff returns his attention to Sailor Moon, who’s health bar is back to full, and he asks, “Shall we continue, Miss Moon?” Sailor Moon only responds by attacking once more and both Heathcliff and Sailor Moon fight an intense sword battle.

Davis says, “Hold it!” Davis and Kazuto charge towards the fight, but Heathcliff then creates a massive firewall that separates Sailor Moon and himself from Davis and Kazuto.

Kazuto says, “A computer firewall? How cliché.” Sailor Moon and Heathcliff continue their fight with incredible intensity and they are dead even until Heathcliff rushes forward with his shield and bashes into Sailor Moon causing her to lose balance in which he stabs her in the shoulder causing her to yelp as she lost a good chunk of HP.

Heathcliff asks, in a taunting manner, “Is that all the invincible Sailor Moon can do?”

Sailor Moon says, leaping back, “Not even close, you fiend!” Sailor Moon then brings out a pop up window and pushes some buttons on it.

“Moon Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Amazon Blood Knight!”

Soon after, Sailor Moon is engulfed in a bright light and when she comes out that light, she is wearing white sleeveless dress with a blood red skirt, silver armored shoulder pads, elbow pads, and kneepads, white fingerless gloves, white and red stockings covering her feet, and silver armored high-heeled boots that covers her feet up to ankles.

Back in the real world, Rika and Asuna gasp and Rika says, “She… She looks like Asuna when she was one of the Knights of the Blood!” Soon after, Sailor Moon gains a rapier that has a blue-green handle with a silver blade in which she says, shocked, “And that’s Lambent Light!”

Sailor Uranus says, “It seems like our princess didn’t just gain Kazuto-san’s power from that game.”

Heathcliff says, with a smile, “Interesting change of outfit, Miss Moon.”

Sailor Moon says, pointing the rapier at her opponent, “You won’t think so with this!”

“Moon Rapier Missile!”
Just then the rapier blasts at Heathcliff like a rocket with a stream of light going behind the sword and Heathcliff barely is able to bring up his shield, but when the blade hits the shield, the shield shatters on impact much to Heathcliff’s amazement in which Sailor Moon quickly brings up the pop up menu.

“Moon Shining Mirror Change, Make-up: SAO Black Swordsman!”

In a bright flash, Sailor Moon changes back into the outfit similar to Kirito the Black Swordsman of SAO and she brings out Elucidator and Dark Repulser swords out.

“Moon Starburst Slashing!”

Sailor Moon then moves like a blur at Heathcliff, the blur goes ‘past’ Heathcliff, and she stops behind him in which she puts her swords away, Heathcliff sword shatters and his HP bar reaches zero.

Heathcliff then says, with a smile, “Well done.” He then collapses to the ground as he turns into data particles while the orb containing the information that Sailor Moon wants leaves his body and goes into her hand while the firewall vanishes away.

Kazuto says, amazed, “She beat him.”

Just then Kayaba’s voice booms out, “She did.” Everyone then whips to the source of the voice to see Kayaba, in his true form, looking at them and he says, “The Twilight Princess has proven her strength, but will she become a ‘fallen heroine’? It will be left to be seen.”

Davis asks, “But how?”

Kayaba says, “I am a mere echo of the man that was Akihito Kayaba through you can say that I have inherited his will.” Kayaba tells Davis and Kazuto, “Davis, you and Kirito should know that Sword Art Online is far from done. The commander of Data Squad has shown you what I mean.”

Kazuto and Davis remember the meeting and Kazuto asks, “Wait! You mean…?”

Kayaba nods his head and he replies, “Unless you want the ‘SAO incident’ on a grander scale, you know what you will have to do and also, I hope that you will visit me at my castle in the Digi-Quartz.”

Davis asks, confused, “Huh?” However, Kayaba vanishes before he says anything more while Sailor Moon, Davis, and Kazuto look at each other.

Sailor Moon asks, “Would be just trouble to let me go?”

Davis responds, drawing both swords, “Sorry, Moon girl, I can’t.”

Sailor Moon says, “I need to do this to save someone precious to me.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “I understand. I get where you are coming from. The SAO survivors, many of them, lost two years of their lives, but I gained something out of it. I gained Asuna, Liz, Silica, and many others. Friends and a girl that I love that I would do anything for… Anything other than cross a line that can never be crossed! You weren’t just some kind of ‘pop idol’, Sailor Moon. You were an inspiration. Asuna told me herself about how she felt that the Sailor Scouts were an inspiration to women and how Sailor Moon was her favorite. Is that a lie Sailor Moon?!”

Sailor Moon says, with an angered expression not seen in her before, “Do you think that I want to do this?! At least you know who you are! I have no idea who I truly am anymore! Most of my memories are gone and all I remember is bits and pieces in which many of them are sacrifices of others for me to get all the glory!” Sailor Moon says, with tears in her eyes, “I… I never wanted to be Sailor Moon… I never had any dreams of being this great and legendary heroine… all I ever wanted… was to be a regular teenage girl… my only dream… was to get married…” There are plenty of gasps from people and Sailor Moon says, “However, the dream is gone… the man that I loved… in two lifetimes is gone for good… and he will NEVER return to me… and nothing that I can say or do can ever bring him back! Not only that, all I remember is being Sailor Moon and Princess Serenity, but that’s not who I am in this life! You know that ‘super heroes’ have their ‘secret identities’ which actually more or less their ‘true selves’ and I have no idea of my ‘true self’! I don’t have much left… all that I have is being Sailor Moon… and I swore to make sure that my tragedy never becomes anyone else’s tragedy! And I also swore to completely revive Naruto! He is someone precious to me! I know that he is precious friend in two lives!”

Davis responds, “What about your fellow Sailor Scouts? Aren’t they your friends?! Aren’t they precious to you?!” Just then a screen displaying the group in the control room of Data Squad headquarters then appears and Sailor Moon looks at everyone in which her eyes widen at Hinata.

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, “That girl…” Just then memories of Naruto talking about Hinata, seeing her during the big battle with Kaguya, Madara, and Sasuke, and finally, images of her as Princess Serenity with another woman with silver hair like Queen Serenity’s hair and Queen Serenity’s hairstyle, golden crescent moon sigil, and eyes exactly like Hinata’s eyes appears in her mind, but Sailor Moon shakes off the images and she says, “They are. That’s why I am going alone. I will not have their names stain and I won’t have them sacrifice anymore for me. I don’t care if it is their duty or not! I’ve had enough of people giving up everything for me! I’m the one that supposed to burden the guardian of this world! To be its savior! I won’t have any more sacrifice and no one is dying on me! I can’t take it! And I have to pay for my sins!”

Kazuto asks, “Your sins?”

Sailor Moon says, “The crime of letting others suffer for my selfishness. I let my desire to be a ‘regular girl’ override my duty as a Sailor Soldier. I could have been stronger and better soldier and then… then Darien-kun…”

Sailor Moon sheds tears in her eyes and Sailor Venus yells out, “That’s not true! Sailor Moon!”

Sailor Moon says, “I am the welder of the Imperium Silver Crystal, one of the most powerful objects in the universe, and I had a responsibility to use it as a Sailor Soldier and heiress of the Moon Kingdom to protect others with it! And with my memories mainly gone, it is the only thing that I have left to hold onto other than Naruto.” Sailor Moon says, attached the orb to her skirt and drawing her swords, “Like I said before, I will save him even if it means going into the darkness to do so and I will not drag the girls with me.”

Davis and Kazuto sigh and Davis says, looking at the others back in the real world, “Sorry, girls, but we are going to have to knock some sense into your princess.”

Sailor Uranus yells out, “Don’t you dare…!!”

Kazuto tells Sailor Moon, ignoring Sailor Uranus, “So, who will win? The Gilded Hero, the Scarred Hero, or the Twilight Princess?”

Davis asks, “Scarred Hero?” However, deep down, Davis felt that ‘name’ suited him quite well and Davis and Kazuto stand to face off against Sailor Moon in which they don’t move for a minute, but it seemed like hours. Soon after, Davis and Kazuto fight against Sailor Moon and the fight is intense in which despite being outnumbered two to one, Sailor Moon fights hard and lands as many hits on Davis and Kazuto as they were landing on her. The fighting was harsh and brutal and their HP bars drop at incredible rates in which they are low on health very quickly.

Kazuto says, amazed, “She is good.”

Davis says, “She is really believing that she is fighting for a friend. She is fighting for something important other than herself.” Kazuto nods his head in agreement and the two of them look at Sailor Moon and all of them charge at each other with incredible speed. In an incredible blur of blades, Davis and Kazuto impale Sailor Moon on one of their blades, each, but Sailor Moon impales Davis and Kazuto with one of her swords each causing all three of them to lose the last of their HP.

Back in the control room, everyone is shocked and horrified and Sailor Venus says, stunned, “Sailor Moon!”

Kudomon says, “Remember, that’s not the ‘real her’! It’s a virtual avatar created by a modified NervGear and I doubt that this ‘royal father’ would let her daughter die.”

Sailor Pluto says, shaking her head, “King Geminios would never dare.”

From the holographic screen of the scanner room, Izzy says, “And the materialization program is on-line!”

Commander Sampson says, “I’m not taking any chances, Izzy! Medical teams to the scanner room! I repeat, medical teams to the scanner room!”

Mia says, with a nod, “Right, commander!”

Back in the virtual world, Davis, Sailor Moon, and Kazuto start to turn into data particles and Davis says, with a grin, “Not bad, Moon girl.”

Sailor Moon says, “I’m not proud of myself, but I did what I had to do and I won.” Just then the orb containing the information goes into Sailor Moon’s body and she gives a playful raspberry before her virtual avatar turns into data particles with Davis and Kazuto following soon after. Back in the real world, everyone in the control room looks at the screen showing the scanner room in which two of the scanner pods open their doors, smoke comes out, and Davis, in his Data Squad clothing, and Kazuto, back in the clothing that he came into Data Squad headquarters with, come tumbling out shortly thereafter.

Kari says, concerned, “Dai-kun!” Kari stumbles as she races off with her older brother racing after her while Rika pushes Asuna away as well as with Keiko and the rest of the Digidestined following in their wake, but both the ninja and Sailor Scouts remain in the room.

Commander Sampson tells the Sailor Scouts, “I can’t let this pass, you know that. I am putting a notice for her immediately.”

Sailor Mars yells out, indignantly, “So, you are going to treat her like some criminal? She isn’t herself for crying out loud!”

Kudomon says, with a serious tone, “And that’s why she needs to be captured immediately! Based on what you told us, she is one of the most powerful beings in the universe and now that she is a Digidestined, she is a Data Squad problem as well! The Digital World is at stake and both worlds are connected with each other! If one goes, the other follows in its wake! With her in her condition, we can’t let this threat pass!”

Commander Sampson says, with a nod, “My partner is right. I will try to keep this out of the public eye, but I will do what’s necessary to ensure the survival of both worlds even if it means taking her down hard.”
Kudomon says, “And she stole from Data Squad. Data that Sailor Pluto said might be an item of great importance. We can’t just let it go.” The Sailor Scouts are solemn in which they know that’s true.

Sailor Mars says, solemnly, “Meatball Head is really in deep this time.”

Sailor Uranus says, “We might just have to save her from herself.”

With the ninja, they are also in discussion and Kakashi says, “We know that Lady Serena has Naruto with her and by the sounds of it, he hasn’t fully recovered.”

Minato says, “Based on what I remember from the battle with Kaguya, Madara, and Sasuke, Naruto took a lot more damage and fought more intensely than Lady Serena and with his premature awakening, he is still ‘physically weaker’ than Lady Serena.”

Shino says, “And most likely suffering from the same memory loss as Lady Serena.”

Hinata asks, concerned, “So, Naruto-kun won’t remember us?”

Ino tells Hinata, with a grin, “How can he forget you, Hinata? After you declared your love for him so many times.”

Hinata blushes madly and Choji says, “Geez, Ino.”

Yamato says, “There is also Davis-san.”

Kakashi says, “We can’t be certain that Madara was telling the truth. Obito passed his power onto me and thanks to the Six Path Sage power, I was able to weld the full power of his Mangekyo Sharingan in which Lady Serena allows me to use it in Eternal form today.”

Minato says, “I doubt that Madara was lying in that. His stoic expression never changed one bit and I just had a gut feeling since I met Davis-san.”

Sai says, “Well, since Davis-san is a great hero, I don’t think that doing anything rash.”

Jiraiya says, “We aren’t doing anything because of his bloodline, but I think that Davis-san fits what the Great Toad Sage told me.”

Minato asks, “You mean about the ‘third savior’?”

There are surprised looks and Jiraiya says, “The Toad Sage said that the third ‘great hero’, the one that will help Naruto and Lady Serena, bring our two worlds together would be a ‘scarred hero’ with a ‘dark heritage’ and being Madara’s grandson as dark as you can get. And this kid just lost one of his close comrades in a horrible manner and hundreds of his comrades die in the worst possible manner.”

Ino asks, “Wait, Jiraiya-sama. Are you saying that Davis-san could be like Naruto and Lady Serena?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “It fits.”

Shikamaru says, “Troublesome, but I’m guess that like the prophecy about Naruto. It also gains a ‘dark side’.”

Jiraiya says, “It also warns that he can be a ‘great destroyer’ like Naruto and the thing is, the Great Elder Toad Sage mentions that until the ‘golden age’ that he is supposed to bring starts, he can still follow the path of the destruction.”

Shikamaru says, “And in his current condition, it is pretty possible. What a drag.”

Ino asks, annoyed, “Seriously, Shikamaru?” As the ninja discuss about Naruto and Davis, Sailor Pluto is also thinking about our Digidestined of Miracles, but for different reasons.

(Joining up with Sailor Moon; Later on)

Sailor Moon is rubbing her waist as Geminios looks at her concerned.

Geminios asks, “Are you sure that you are okay, Serenity?”

Sailor Moon says, “I’m okay, dad. It just… felt so real.”

Geminios says, “Remember, the Full-Dive is a complete immersion of the mind into the digital realm in which all the electrical impulses directed to moving your body are redirected into moving your digital avatar.”

Sailor Moon says, looking at the NervGear, “Such an awesome thing and yet, he used it for such evil.”

Geminios says, “I know, Serenity. They already have worked out different ideas for the NervGear including medical purposes, but Kayaba just used it for his sick game.”

Sailor Moon says, with an angered tone, “And cost Venus and Jupiter two years of their lives and it is thanks to their powers that they aren’t still in the hospital.”

Geminios says, “That fiend will be taken down with time.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “He will, dad.”
Geminios says, displaying a poster for a Duel Monster’s tournament in Juuban, “However, there is something that you should see.”

Sailor Moon asks, “A Duel Monsters tournament for the SAO survivors?”

Geminios says, shaking his head, “A tournament for the ‘SAO Memorial Fund’ for the survivors and… those that didn’t.”

Sailor Moon asks, with a nod, “I see. But why show me?”

Geminios says, “You need to enter it, Serenity. There is a prize is something that we need.” Geminios then takes out a blank Synchro Monster card with the area of the monster picture is black with what looks like the Crimson Dragon on it and he says, “This will give you what you need to remember your dueling abilities, Serenity. However, I must warn you, it can be dangerous.”

Sailor Moon asks, nervously, “Dangerous?”

Geminios says, “This is a Duel Dragon and it represents the ‘dark half’ of a group of mighty noble warrior dragons known as the Signer Dragons. However, I fear that they are needed.”

Sailor Moon asks, “Why? Why something so dangerous?”

Geminios says, “A dangerous chaotic power that they are tied to is being revived and these dragons are involved in it. However, be careful, the Duel Dragons are under a terrible ‘dark curse’ and it take much to resist it. However, if you tame this power, you could regain more of your memories and help Naruto.”

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, “Help Naruto? Remember who I am in this life?” Sailor Moon then can’t help herself to reach for the card and Geminios gives a look of concern, but he then allows Sailor Moon to take the card and Sailor Moon gasps as a dark aura surrounds her.

Geminios yells out, “Resist, Serenity! Resist the Shadow Misawa!”

Sailor Moon groans out, “I’m… I’m trying… It hurts… It hurts…!!” Sailor Moon screams out as her golden crescent moon sigil glows as Geminios’ upside down dark violet crescent moon sigil appears on her forehead and crosses her golden crescent moon sigil. Sailor Moon feels like that she is getting swallowed by the darkness, but images of Darien/Tuxedo Mask/Prince Endymon, the Sailor Scouts, and Naruto appear in her mind and fights with all of her willpower against the dark influence of the card in which it is taking shape as a picture of a darker version of Ancient Fairy Dragon appears and the name ‘Ancient Pixie Dragon’ appears on top of the card. Just then the dark aura around Sailor Moon dispels and she gives a gasp as she was about to collapse, but Geminios catches her.

Geminios asks, concerned, “Are you all right? Serenity?”

Sailor Moon responds, “I’m okay, dad.”
Geminios says, “I’m sorry, sweetie.”

Sailor Moon says, with a warm smile, “No, dad. Thank you. You have given me what I need.” Sailor Moon and Geminios look at the card, Ancient Pixie Dragon (2100/3000) Synchro Monster card, in her hand as it gives of a dark violet aura and vanishes.

(Around the same time; elsewhere)

Right now, in another hospital room, we find a young woman of 18 years of age with long flowing green hair and grey-golden eyes and a young man of the same age with the same hair color and eyes as the young woman in which they are surrounded by 23 year old young with woman brown eyes, and dark burgundy hair. Her hair is mostly chin-length with the addition of long, elbow-length bangs that frame both sides of her face. She rolls her front bangs with a device similar to a hair curler on top of her head.

With the young woman, there is a young man of 25 years of age with tan skin, an average looking physique, black hair with gold highlights, and Bleu de France (royal blue) eyes.

Another young man of 26 years of age with purple eyes, fair skin and spiked blonde hair, with two much longer pieces in front of his ears that hang further down the rest of his hair with earrings in the shape of an ‘A’ attached to his ears.

And finally, there is one final young man of 24 years of age with dark-grey eyes and brushy-spiked orange hair with a viridian-colored headband embroidered with two rings at the left side.

The young woman with burgundy hair asks, “How are you doing today?”

The young man with green hair says, “Just plain board, Akiza.”

The young woman with green hair says, “Don’t mind, Leo. He just wants to make up for lost time and become a Turbo Duelist.”

The young man with spiked blond hair says, “Be glad that you can get back to Turbo Dueling after you have recovered after what that madman did to you, Luna, and ten thousand people.” The young man bashes his fists together and he says, “If Kayaba wasn’t dead already, I would teach him a lesson about messing with the World King’s friends.”

The young man with black hair tells him, “Easy, Jack. Let’s be thankful that this nightmare is over.”

The young man with orange hair says, “Yeah, no joke. I just can’t believe that someone had you stumped, Yusei.”

The young man with black hair responds, “Well, Kayaba isn’t a genius for nothing, Crow. I may great with electronics and mechanics since I created two Duel Runners, but the NervGear was at a whole new level. I just couldn’t figure out a way of removing it from Leo and Luna without activating the ‘kill switch’ on it.”

The young woman with burgundy hair responds, “I just glad that it is all over. It was a nightmare. We were right there in front of Luna and Leo and yet we could do nothing for them.”

The young man with black hair says, “Well, it’s over now, Akiza.”

The young man with orange hair says, “Anyway, Yusei, why do you still have the NervGear and Amusphere?”

The young man with black hair, Yusei Fudo, responds, “The Full-Dive is an excellent technology with many applications. I just believe that they were being used by the wrong people.”

The young man with blond hair says, “No kidding, Yusei. A pair of nutjobs and I hear that other one, Sugou, managed to escape regular police custody and they have Data Squad on his ass.”

The young man with orange hair responds, “Yeah, I know. The Neo Domino City police force has a major APB on him, Jack.”

The young woman, Akiza Izinski, says, “Messing with people’s mind and trying to control. It just reminds me…”

Akiza wraps her arms around herself and Yusei says, with a smile, “That part of your life is over, Akiza.”

Akiza says, with a warm smile, “I know, Yusei.”

The young man with green hair asks, excitedly, “So, Yusei, you are going to create your own Full-Dive helmet?”

Yusei responds, “I’m going to try to create one that’s safer and can’t be tampered with, Leo. Right now, thanks to Kayaba and Nobuyuki, the VRMMO industry is going to take a major hit. It has potential, but so far, it has been put in the hands of madmen. Hopefully, I can change that for the better.”

The young man with blond hair, Jack Atlas, says, “No kidding, Yusei. Let’s make it so that if you do die in a game, you don’t die in real life.”

The young man with orange hair, Crow Hogan, says, “Or a hideout for a sicko with a god complex trying to warp the human mind.” Akiza and the green haired young woman nod their heads in agreement, but then all of them then yelp and hold their lower left arms.

The young green haired male yells out, “Ow! My arm!”

Akiza says, “This is… where my Mark of the Dragon used to be!”

Jack asks, “What is this? We aren’t Signers anymore, are we?” Just then black ‘smoke’ seems to be coming from card protectors and two Duel Monsters deck on a table in-between the green haired woman and man.

The green haired woman asks, “Our decks?”

When the green haired woman reaches over, Akiza says, “Luna, wait!” However, the green haired woman takes a card from her deck, showing the card producing the ‘black smoke’ is Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100/3000) Synchro Monster card.

The green haired woman, Luna, asks, stunned, “Ancient Fairy?”

The green haired man, Luna’s brother, Leo, has two cards, Power Tool Dragon (2300/2500) and Life Stream Dragon (2900/2400) Synchro Monster cards, in which he says, “What’s going on with my cards? Power Tool and Life Stream!” The others pull their own Synchro Monster cards, Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800) for Akiza, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) for Yusei, Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2500) for Jack, and Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) for Crow.

Akiza says, stunned, “Our dragons!”
Crow asks, “What’s going on here?”

Just then they hear a yelp in which they see Luna holding her head and Akiza asks, “Luna, what’s wrong?” However, the rest of them hold their heads as images as they see the Crimson Dragon facing off against ‘darker versions’ of their Signer Dragons minus Life Stream Dragon in which light from the Crimson Dragon transforms him into the form that they are in now leaving only their shadows, other ‘dark dragons’, and the Crimson Dragon and the Signer Dragon unleash their power to drive back their shadows and the other ‘dark dragons’ along with a menacing pair of eyes. Then they see Sailor Moon, covered in a ‘dark aura’ and the ‘darker version’ of Ancient Fairy Dragon, Ancient Pixie Dragon, behind her.

When the ‘vision’ stopped and the group can regain their breath, Crow asks, “What the heck was that?”

Akiza says, “That was… a vision.”

Leo asks, “Wait! You saw that Sailor Moon girl with that dark version of my sister’s dragon?”

Yusei says, with a nod, “Yeah, we did, Leo.”

Jack says, “Sailor Moon, huh? There is no proof that she exists.”

Akiza says, “There are too many reports of ‘monster attacks’ and whatnot to show that she does exist and she is famous in Tokyo.”

Crow says, “And many other places including Neo Domino.”

Luna says, “Well, she is an inspiration for young girls everywhere. A beautiful and powerful young ‘magical girl’ kicking butt.”

Akiza says, “But that vision.”

Yusei says, “I know, Akiza. I don’t like it. I think that it was a warning.”

Crow asks, “Well, where do we start?”

Jack retorts, “Where do you think, Crow? The ‘home’ of Sailor Moon: The Juuban District of Tokyo.”

Akiza says, with a nod, “Yeah.”

Luna says, “I need to come with you.”

Crow tells Luna, “No way, Luna! You and your brother have just barely recovered from being stuck two years in that ‘death game’!”

Luna says, looking at her Ancient Fairy Dragon card, which with the other dragon cards of the others has stopped giving off ‘black smoke’, “I know, Crow, but I’m concerned for Ancient Fairy Dragon. I… I just need to go.”

Leo says, “We’ve been in here for two months! We can’t just stick around and do nothing! We were Signers too!”

Crow says, with a sigh, “You aren’t going to let this go.”

Jack says, “Let’s take them with us as long as they stay out of way and take it easy.”

Jack glares at Leo and Luna and Leo says, “Okay! Okay!” Yusei looks at his Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) and he can’t help to be concerned at the card/monster that helped him through so many battles in which he can’t help to wonder if he is about to go into another.

And that’s the end of the chapter! I think that you can probably get why the Yu-Gi-Oh series is part of both stories in the disclaimer now and with the Yu-Gi-Oh series, it will be in the time period of Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds after the Signers went their separate ways, but before the final time skip scenes seen in the last episodes. However, I have learned about the latest Yu-Gi-Oh series and there will be XYZ monsters and Pendulum monsters along with other Zexal and Arc-V elements in the story, but you are going to have to read and find out what they are folks.
