A/n: One note that I failed to mention in the last chapter. The one chara Jenna belongs to a dear friend and sister of mine. And Jen, the different spelling refers to the same chara which is mine.

About the time that sailor mars appeared and used her powers, the young girl had become restless. She got up from her bed and started to pace the floor. Yami continued to watch her ever since he woke up from the cat nap he had taken. "Are you alright?" he asked out of concern able to feel the use of magic, when the fire sailor's powers were used.

"Yes, I am alright its nothing I want to stretch my legs a little is all, nothing to be concerned over." Jen replied her sightless brown eyes closed and her back to Yami even though she didn't even notice she wasn't facing him. "I am just thinking is all." She added a moment later.

"Just making sure is all." Yami replied a smile in his voice to back up what he had said. " Hey, want to go out for a while? I think I found your wheelchair, and you could use some fresh air." Yami suggested once she had calmed.

"I don't see why not, if you don't mind that is, my legs are permently week as you can see so I don't want to put anyone out." She replied feeling rather shy and neverous over the whole event.

"There is nothing to worry about. Things will be alright." Yami reassured her seeing the sudden fear. "its going to take time, and you are in no rush." He added placing a hand on her shoulder.

She smiled at him. "well I guess it won't kill me to get fresh air you know?" she replied as she reached to hug him.

Yami smiled and pulled her closer to him and held her for a few moments rubbing his hand down her back. She smiled and closed her eyes as a new feeling came over replacing the fear that she had felt only seconds before. This was something she had forgotten about but one she embraced willingly. Yami slowly and carefully picked her up placing her in the wheelchair and made sure she was comfey. She slowly moved her hands to the wheels, in order to push herself around. "Whatch your hands." Yami softly instructed and to this, she did not protest.

"So where are we going?" she asked after a few moments of complete qquiet and they had been out a while.

"Well I figured we would check a few things out and see if I need to enroll you in school is all." Yami said calmly.

"OH no!" Jen shouted, "Not again I will never go back!" she started crying as Yami spoke those words. She tried to stop her chair by stopping the wheels from moving and began jerking around as another memory came over her. "The pain" she continued.

Yami stopped quickly so she would not hurt herself and helped her to lie down not sure what was happening. All he could do was sit there and wait it out. "calm down its gonna be alright." He kept reassuring her while he waited for her to stop moving around so much. "its gonna be ok." He continued to soothe not aware that she had stopped and was now out resting from what ever it was that had scared her so.

It didn't take him long to see it though and he carefully moved her once again. ::I don't know what it is about you, but I feel I must protect you.:: he thought as he continued down the sidewalk with the sleeping girl. "What is it about you?" he asked himself as he headed down the sidewalk reaching the school. He didn't know what had gotten into her or what happened, but he did know he felt something for her and would do anything for her.

"So where am i?" the young brown eyed girl asked as she awoke.

"Good your awake Jen, I was beginning to worry about you. Don't worry we are outside the high school, you can wait out here if you want." Yami explained.

"No, that's alright, I would rather not be left alone." Jen replied acting like her outburst had never happened.

Yami found this to be a little strange yet he did not stress the issue. He just took her with him and no sooner had he gotten past the lockers for shoes, he was met up with Joey and Tristan. They had come running and almost knocked over "Yami man are we glad to see you… Wait hold the phone..who is she?!" Joey blerted out freaking out.

"hold on this is Jen, and what is the rush? Did something happen to Yugi?" Yami asked suddenly afraid that he might be right.

"Yeah Tea attacked him for no reason, and he has been acting strange like he knew she would and has just being holding back." Tristan put in.

"Yeeah he is in the office right now." Joey added. "He dstarted acting kind of strange. It was stranger then words man, He was talking about something, and that girl fits the mutterings exactly." Joey added pointing an accusing finger at Jen.

As if She saw Joey's finger, Jen started to act strange again. She held her head and started sobbing. "I had nothing to do with anything." She cried shaking again.

Yami rushed to comfort her when similar screams came from the office coming from none other then Yugi. Yami picked up Jen leaving the chair out by the lockers and ran to the office and sat her down next to Yugi. "Yugi you alright little one?" Yami asked the shaking boy.

"I still think that that strange girl had something to do with it." Joey spat.

"No, I snapped at Tea wanting a little time to myself this morning on the way to school, and she attacked me for it." Yugi stated.

Jen reached over and touched Yugi on the arm and the boy calmed.

"Wow How did that happen?" Joey asked amazed. "Are you some kind of witch?" he asked jen.

"Thank you so much I needed that." Yugi said in a thankful tone before Jen could speak.

"I don't know, I don't want to hurt anyone just help them if I can. " she admitted quietly.

"Well I still say its all her fult. I mean she has only been in town a few days and things haven't been right since. " Joey continued.

"Come off it Joey, she has done a lot of good." Yugi countered before turning to yaami who was still standing in front of him. "Can we all go home?" he asked..

"I think that might be best Yami agreed. He then turned and picked up Jen Yugi quickly fallowing. He placed Jen in her chair before they had left. She smiled at them seeing Yugi happy again.

"I wonder what got into Joey all of the sudden today…?" Yugi stated aloud not expecting an answer.

"I don't know, but I just guess my rep has cought up with me is all. As I recall I had a rep for being a lot of things I am not. Its not uncommon for me to get a reaction like that from a complete stranger." Jen put in not aware that Yugi wasn't really looking for an answer to his question. But the answer left both Yami and Yugi a bit shocked.

"so you do remember a little more I see." Yami commeted.

"Some things you wish you could forget, and you never can, the remain trapped in your mind. No matter how much you want to at the time." Jenn stated quietly each word breaking as if she were still afraid to speak.

"Don't worry about it, its alright." Yami reassured. "Once we get you two home, I think a little rest is in order don't you think?" Yami added as they reached their home.

Jen and Yugi both agreeded and as soo n as they were home Jen fell asleep before Yami had finished anything for them both to eat. Yami felt it best not to wake her seeing is how her day was a bit stressful and returned to his post by her bed watching her sleep making sure she was warm and safe.

Meanwhile at school, the hallways were already filling with the news of the attack that just occoured. Tea had been sent to the hospital due to the unuseal burn marks all over her body most of which being 3rd degree. No one could seem to explain it even though most saw the fire shaped bird that had caused them in the first place. If they didn't directly see it, they deffently could hear the screams and cries. Even Seto Kaiba heard this and didn't brush it off like he normally had with everything else. He didn't know the real storry because so many people had told it, but he knew something had happened. ::Well that bitch tea had it coming:: he thought as he headed to class.

Rei arrived to class and everyone was still talking about it. She knew what happened but like the rest of the school acted like she didn't. When the trouble was over she was seen walking out of the bathroom and she appeared to be shaken up a little by the noise. "Did you see what happened?" one girl asked as she entered the classroom.

"yeah I did, that was cool how that bird came out of no where and gave Tea what she had coming to her." Another student added.

"What about the strange female voice which called it. Did anyone see it? See the person behind the voice…?" yet another student put in.

"Its all creapy to me strange people with magic powers." Joey chimed in. "if you all ask me this has to be some kind of stunt, or we are being over run by freaks."

"oh come off it Joey, your just pissed that a stranger could help your best friend." Tristan put in.

This cirtenally caught Rei's attention. She blinked and walked over to where the two were fighting once again. Seto who also was in the same class acted like he wanted to listen in, but at the same time didn't found himself once again beside Rei pretending to read a closed book.

"Well that girl had to be a freak." Joey retorted.

"She was just a normal girl." Tristan shot back.

"But she was being pushed in a wheelchair, this the first time she has been out in public, plus Yami carried her in to the office." Joey reminded.

"So what is the big deal about that? She is just a disabled girl, and she was found injured and soaked only a few days ago. Just about a day before Jenna arrived I would say from what I understand." Tristan returned.

"So new people she could have been the girl that started the fire that sent Tea to the hospital. Either that or Jenna did it, the stranger did have hair like hers." Joey spat out.

"Oh Shut it wheeler, I have heard just about enough. Just because we have two new people in town doesn't mean a damed thing. I owe thanks to that girl who caused that bitch gardner to go to the hospital." Kaiba interrupted sick of hearing them fighting.

"Says you Kaiba!" Joey yelled and jumped on the desk that Rei was sitting at to pounce him, but before he could Seto sent Joey crashing into his own tesk.

"That was sure a crule way to go about it Kaiba." Rei put in for her friend. ::But in a way that hunk defended me:: she thought on the inside. It didn't occour to Rei at the moment the girl Joey and Tristan were fighting about was in fact Kayla the girl she was sent to look for.

As soon as the teacher arrived students scrambled to return to their seats and Rei ffound herself on her rear in the mix up. Seto helped her up and camly walked through the madness and took his seat as if nothing had happened.

"thank you, for the help." Rei said softly after returning to her seat.

Seto on the other hand didn't even look her way before giving his reply, "welcome." He didn't need to say much more then that to send Rei on a love sick like rush in her mind. ::Well what a creap but in his own way he is kinda nice.:: she thought.

Joey growled and picked up his desk growling at how Kaiba had acted around him. "what a jerk and a creep. He shouldn't be allowed in public.." Joey growled loudly.

"That is enough one more word out of you Mr Wheeler and its off to the principal with you." The teacher snapped ending any more arguments. With that said, the students quieted for yet another boaring afternoon of learning.
