Serena sat in class twiddling her thumbs while the teacher went over for the fifteenth time the cause of the Spanish War. Boredom was the only thing on her mind. She looked at the clock and smiled. "fifteen minutes to go" she thought as she counted down. 5..4..3..2..1..Briiiiiiinngg! "Yes!" yelled Serena as she zoomed out of last period to her locker. She quickly gathered her books and dodged her way through the football team and the band players and to the fresh air outside. Serena stopped for a moment. "Wait for them or not to wait for them, that is the question" whispered Serena.
:Flashback:
"You know Serena does not have her head on her shoulders" said Rei. It was another scout meeting and though they were suppose to be talking about youmas and such the conversation had somehow drifted on to Serena. "Yes, I do agree she does not take the time to think about things" said Ami as she read her book. "She almost cost Rini her life in the battle last night" said Mina. "I know I thought the poor kid wasn't going to make it" said Lita. "What does Darien think?" asked Rei with a smile. "I don't know you're seeing him behind Serena's back" laughed Mina. "Yeah well I know he agrees with us or he wouldn't be seeing me" said Rei. Serena stared with a horrified look at her friends. She had arrived late because she had spent extra time with her little sister at the Big Sister program. She could not believe that her friends would betray her like this. Serena fled the temple.
:End Flashback:
Serena sighed and began walking home. She decided to take a trip to the arcade for her usual afternoon get together with the Sailor V game. "Hey, Andrew" said Serena as she headed for the counter. "Oh, hey Serena, how's school?" asked Andrew. "The usual" said Serena as she placed a five dollar bill on the table. Andrew gave her the quarters worth and Serena walked over to the game. She inserted the quarters and watch the screen pop up. Serena was so lost in the game she didn't notice the scouts and Darien entering the arcade. "Hey Andrew!" said the gang. "Hey guys, the usual order?" asked Andrew. "Of course" said Mina as her and the gang headed for a booth. "Damn! I lost again!" yelled Serena as she turned around in the stool. She had wasted five dollars on the Sailor V game and she couldn't beat her last high score. She let out a sigh and looked up. There in front of her were the scouts and Darien looking and laughing at her for her previous outburst. She growled under her breath and held her head high. She began to exit the arcade when she heard her name being called. The voice was that of Rei. Serena looked as Rei pulled Darien in for a long kiss. Tongue and all. Serena grimaced and walked out the arcade with the laughter following her. "That's it!!" thought Serena as she stamped her foot. "I have to make a phone call" she said as she walked home. She was going some place new. Some place with adventure and free of evil.
Four years later...
"Yeah free of evil" said Serena as she climbed the rope down into the tomb of Natuwenut. "You know Siena I have this feeling that I'm being used here" yelled Serena to the figure above her who was also climbing down the rope. "I'm not using you, I'm taking advantage" laughed Siena. Serena jumped down and looked around. She waved Siena down. "You know we have to hurry before the deadline is through" said Serena as they traveled down the long passage way. "This kind of reminds me of Tomb Raider" said Siena. "That's what we are" said Serena sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. "Yeah killing off youmas, vampires, wicked satanic demons, and tomb raiding on the side" said Siena with a sigh. "Don't act like you don't like it" said Serena as she read the hieroglyphics. "Shit! This is the best thing in the world!" exclaimed Siena. "Good! Now according to these hieroglyphics if we make one wrong step we'll be crushed by a rolling boulder" said Serena. "That's all I need to know" said Siena as she took a step. "Wait!" yelled Serena but it was too late. The ground began to rumble and all Siena mumbled was oh shit. Both saw a huge boulder rolling there way. "Run!" yelled Serena as they both began to run for their lives. "Something is wrong" said Siena as they ran. "Why do you say that?" asked Serena. "Because the floor is caving i.."...Darkness.
