Chapter 3
Tomb of Natuwenut: Hallway of Reflection
-smashing of glass is heard -
"Shit!!" yelled Serena as a hundred black scorpions came scurrying out. "Great! It had to be the black ones" said Siena as she began jumping back shooting. "This is not going to work" yelled Serena as she fired. For every two scorpions that got shot four would take their place. Siena looked around and found a huge bowl holding a black liquid in the middle of the room. Siena ran to the bowl and began pushing. "Hurry Siena!" yelled Serena as she shot at the scorpions. Siena pushed as hard as she could. "It won't budge!" she yelled. Serena ran over to Siena and helped her push. The bowl began to move and it soon tipped over, drenching the scorpions in the liquid. "On the count of three" said Serena. "One..Two..Three!". Both Serena and Siena began to fire at the scorpions and the black liquid ignited swallowing the scorpions in it's flames. "We have to get out of here before we're toast!" exclaimed Siena. "Just shoot any mirror you find" said Serena. "That won't work! We don't have time" yelled Siena. "Then look for something unusual" said Serena. The flames grew bigger and bigger as they frantically looked. Serena was running past a mirror when something caught her eye. She ran to the mirror and noticed that her reflection was not showing. "Siena! Over here!" she yelled. Siena ran over to Serena. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" asked Serena. "Yeah, for you to shoot the damn mirror before we're engulfed in flames!" yelled Siena. Serena shot the mirror and it shattered revealing a slope leading into the darkness. "On second thought.." said Siena. "We don't have time for second thoughts!" yelled Serena as she grabbed Siena and they slide into the darkness. Seconds before they slide down the room explodes. All the mirrors shatter and many more scorpions are engulfed in the flames. But something was wrong. Tiny slithering creatures were coming out of the flames.
Author Notes: Ok there is going to be a time difference here. So right now in Tokyo it's nine and in Egypt I say it's about three in the afternoon. There are no accurate time differences in here but oh well.
Tokyo, Japan: Nine o' clock: Scout Meeting
"I don't understand Pluto" said Mina. The scouts, Darien, and Rini were sitting in the living room of Mina's house. "The Dark Moon family is going to attack India, they are looking for the amulet of Natuwenut" said Pluto. "What is this amulet and why is it important?" asked Darien. "The amulet of Natuwenut was created out of a mysterious stone that a Bedouin found in the desert, the amulet will give it's wearer ultimate power, if used for good it will bring fortune to the world but if used for bad it will bring about the destruction of it" said Pluto. "So, you're saying that we need to go to India and defeat the Dark Moon family" said Ami. "Yes, they are also under a new name" said Pluto. "A new name? But why?" asked Lita. "Yes, they are known as the Moon Watchers and I do not know why" said Pluto. "How will we go? What about our parents?" asked Ami. "I've made it so that they think that you are going on a field trip" said Pluto. "How long will we be gone?" asked Rei. "One week, it will take you some time to get there but you must find the amulet of Natuwenut before it is too late" said Pluto. "How will we find it?" asked Darien. "You will enlist the aid of two tombraiders" said Pluto. "Tombraiders?" said a confused Rini. "Yes, tomb raiders, they will help you on your journey and through the dangers of the tomb and help crack codes" said Pluto. "We don't need them! We are the sailor scouts!" said Rei triumphantly. "Yes, you may be scouts but you know nothing about the tombs" said Pluto. "Not even Ami" she continued. Ami hid her head in shame. "You will leave tomorrow and arrive Saturday that should give you plenty of time to locate the tombraiders" said Pluto. "Who are they?" asked Darien. "Serena Tsukino and Siena Froli" said Pluto before she disappeared. "Shit!" said Rei. Rini just grinned.
Tomb of Natuwenut: Floating Room
"Now I see why they call it the Floating Room" said Siena as she gazed around. Her and Serena were standing on a ledge. All around was water and in the middle was a small lever on a platform. Above them hung a rope that lead them straight to the platform. "This looks a little too easy" said Serena as she grabbed on to the rope. "You stay here and watch my back, I'd hate to find out what's in that water" said Serena as she began climbing along the rope. "Don't fall into the water" said Siena. Serena looked down at her dangling feet. "I won't" she said as she continued to cross. Serena finally landed on the platform and pulled the lever. A whishing sound was heard and spears began to shoot out of the sides of the wall behind Serena. "Oh shit!" she heard Siena yell as she grabbed on to the rope. "Hurry Serena!" yelled Siena. Serena crossed as fast she could but the spears were gaining on her. Unnoticed to Siena the rope was coming loose. Serena had her mind on crossing before she became a shish kabob. As soon as the rope snapped Siena saw the rope go past her face and she quickly grabbed it. Siena knew she couldn't hold on the rope any longer. "Siena! I'm going to jump to the ledge! Let go of the rope!" yelled Serena. "No! You won't make it!" yelled Siena. "Yes I will! Let go before I get killed!" yelled Serena. Siena reluctantly let go of the rope and Serena jumped missing the ledge by an inch. Just as she thought she was going to die she felt a hand grab her wrist. She looked up to find Siena lifting her up. Siena held on tight and pulled Serena up. A spear whiz past where Serena once was and landed into the other side of the wall. They both let out a sigh of relief. "Look!" exclaimed Siena. The both looked over the edge to find the water gone and a door at the other side of the room. "How are we going to get down?" asked Siena. "I don't think you want to go down there" said Serena. "Why not?" asked Siena. "Because there are thousands upon thousands of snakes coming out of the walls" said Serena. Where the spears had come from there were snakes falling out of the holes. "Serena they're not stopping" said Siena worriedly. Indeed the snakes were not. They were piling up and soon the door would be blocked. "Where are they coming from?" asked Siena. "From the reflection room!!" exclaimed Serena. "We have to find a way to get over to that door before we're drowned in venomous snakes!" said Siena. Serena looked around and spotted the spears. "We'll used the spears to climb across" said Serena before she jumped and grabbed one of the spears. Siena saw the row of spears and followed suit.
Author Notes: The spears are made out of gold so they're sturdy enough and their as round as a log.
Siena and Serena quickly crossed and jumped down. "How do we open this door?" asked Serena. Siena began to read the hieroglyphics. "Snake venom, we have to drip some on the door and it will open" said Siena. They looked to the thousands of snakes in the room. Serena began to fire. She killed three and the others stop slithering and stood to attention. "I don't think they liked that" said Siena as the snaked began to advance towards them. Serena ran forward and grabbed a dead snake nearly getting bitten by a live one. She threw it to Siena who quickly squeezed the venom onto the door. The room began to rumble and the door slide back. Siena and Serena ran through with the snakes on their heels. "I'll hold them back while you get the amulet!" yelled Siena as she broke two of her flares and began sprinkling the liquid around. Serena ran to the sarcophagus and pushed it open only to find it empty. "Houston, we have a problem" said Serena. "What?" asked Siena as she ran towards her. "It's a fake" said Serena. "Fuck!" yelled Siena. "We have to get out of here before those snakes kill us" said Siena. We'll use the rope up there" said Serena. There above the empty sarcophagus was a rope leading out of the pyramid. "Thanks heaven for looters" said Siena as she followed Serena to the ledge. They climbed until they reached the ropes. "I didn't know snakes could climb" said Serena as she climbed the rope. The snakes were slithering up the walls and steadily gaining on them. "They can't!" yelled Siena as she hurried Serena on. "Look! Just climb as fast as you can while I shoot at the flare liquid I left behind" said Siena. Serena began to climb and Siena aimed her pistol at the flare liquid. "Adios amigos" said Siena as she fired at the liquid. The next sound that was heard was that of an explosion.
Author Notes: This is the end of chapter 3. Sigh!! More adventure to come!!
Chapter 4: "We'll enlist the aid of a Sieya Kou" said Diamond to Andrew. "Who is this Seiya Kou?" asked Andrew. "A tombraider who knows the exact location of the tomb of Natuwenut" said Diamond. "And what about the Amulet?" asked Andrew. "That is taken care of" Diamond replied.
