Serena sat behind her desk, waiting patiently for her fellow Juuban classmates to take their seats as the bell rang. As the bell chimed students scurried back to their seats. The entrance to the classroom opened slowly, and the class room stilled, but seconds later the class was whispering of weekend events and future engagements with so and so. The young teacher, who by looking at her could have passed as a student if she donned the uniform, stood behind her desk clearing her throat signaling that class had begun.

Immediately all noise ceased, all that could be heard was the sound of each student inhaling and exhaling. Not even a pencil or piece of paper rattled. "Good morning Ms. Meioh" The students all spoke simultaneously. "Good morning class," The teacher replied, flipping some of her untameable slightly greenish ebony locks behind her shoulder. "I have your exam scores from last week. If you would please come here and pick them up at the end of class it would be greatly appreciated." Oh great, I wonder how I did on this one. I bet Melvin got a hundred percent on his. God do I despise that kid, Serena thought warily to herself in the midst of one of the teachers infamous lectures.

After the bell had buzzed off at the end of first period Serena nearly trampled over a student as she attempted to exit class, completely forgetting what her teacher had mentioned earlier. "Ms. Summers," her teacher called down the hall. CRAP, Serena mentally cursed for being unable to escape like she had planned. She wasn't entirely stupid, as many would be lead to believe. "Yes Ms.M?"She asked shyly, giving one of her innocent million dollar 'I-swear-I-didn't-do-it' smiles. "I want you to take this home, get it signed, then return it to me. Got it?" Looking at her exam grade almost made Serena want to cry. "Fine," she huffed, snatching the paper out of her teachers hand. "How fucking lovely! Mom is so going to murder me when she sees this grade... and after I had that study group with Molly and her sister, Erica," She surpressed a groan of despair." I'm so totally dead. I may as well say goodbye internet and video games for, uh, EVER!!!" muttering the last part to herself. "I implore you to try harder next time Ms. Summers." was the last thing Serena heard her teacher say. Easy for her to say, she's not the on taking the test. She's giving the damn thing, her mind ranted as she mentally stuch her tounge out at the brunette teacher.

As the depressed blonde sulked down her typical routine home, she paused for a brief second as she analyzed the lively poster that hung in the front window of the local cafe. THE NEW SAILOR V GAME!!!!, her mind yelled, changing her mood instantly. "Maybe I'll go in for a minute or two just to check it out" Serena told herself, convincing that it wouldn't be a bad idea. Which in her case wasn't very hard at all. Serena looked at her exam paper once more before she crumpled it into ball and threw it carelessly over her shoulder. "OW!!! Watch were your tossin' stuff lady!" a deep masculine voice remark after being pelted in the face with the school girls paper sphere.

Turning around, Serena came face to face with mysteriously handsome guy that looked a bit older than Serena and roughly a foot taller than her. He uncrumpled the ball and removed his sun glasses to get a better look. "Whoa! A thirty?! Aren't you supposed to get good grades in school little girl?" The older guy asked with laughter in his voice. "Gimme that you jerk!!" Fumed the blonde, as she attempted to snatched her paper back from this loser clutches."Oh! we have a fiesty one here," he teased. For a moment he thought how cute the girl that stood before him look when anger consumed her innocent angelic cerulean eyes. "I wish my girlfriend could make a cute face like yours." He said implying her cherry red and scrunched up face she had made at the comparison. Blushing momentarily, she quickly reverted back into being angry about how he had insulted her intelligence. Throwing her hands up in the air in frustration the young girl stormed toward her favorite hangout, The Crown cafe.

Upon entering the hot spot that teens from all Tokyo flocked to, Serena was greeted by a tall sandy haired man who was standing behind the counter cleaning. A bit of shock came across his face as he examined his watch."You're early today Sere. Who did you suck up to to get out so soon?" Serena smirked before playfully hitting her good friend, Andrew, who owned the cafe. "No one I just didn't get into any trouble today thats all." Serena said 'as-a-matter-of-factly'. Andrew laughed to himself at how many times his friend could get into trouble over the littlest of thing such as tardiness, not turn her work in, and dozing off in the middle of class. Everyone else could do it and no get caught but poor serena wasn't that lucky."One large chocolate milkshake says you can't keep you butt out of dentention for the rest of the week." Andrew openly bet, know the likelihood of that happening. Slim to none, he thought in amusement. Serena mulled the wager over to herself before making up her mind. "You got a deal." She said confidently, shaking Andrews hand to complete the offer.

A minute or so later the door to the cafe swung open and a group of three girls all quickly made their way over to the counter. "Hey sere," a brunette haired girl said, noticing her friend at the table all alone. "Hey there, Leets. Whats new?" Serena asked, knowing it had to be good if she had sought her out personally. At that very instant a pink envelope was set in front of her. A question began to form in Serena's mind, Lita could tell and before she could ask Lita reminded her of the occasion. "Serena you didn't forget that my wedding is in two weeks did you?" Serena shook her head no. How could she forget the fact that her best friend was getting married to her childhood sweetheart and one of Tokyo's richest men, Max Stanton. God she's so lucky she has that special someone. One day I hope I get that happiness, She thought enviously. All her friend were so lucky, they all had boyfriend and Lita soon a husband. Serena's lovely smile was soon replaced with a frown that didn't suite her beautiful face.

As Serena sat talking about significant others and all that mushy stuff with Lita something, or someone rather, caught her eye. They walked over three stools down from where Serena currently sat. Instantly she felt her temperature begin to rise. Just as Serena was about to leave her friend of hers, Ann, waved her over to join her. "Come on, Sere! Come sit down with us." Serena became quickly confused. US?, She questioned mentally."Wha do you me-" That's when she heard that deep voice again. "Hey it's you again. Ann, honey, do you know this girl?" The woman nodded with a grin plastered clear across her face. "This is my best friend, Serena. Why?" she questioned skeptical, know his past at betting with his step brother diamond and their little games to see how many girl each could be with. "Oh nothing, except she nearly took my eye out earlier by throwing her test at me earlier." He joked with a bit of a smirk. "Who is this guy Ann?" Serena asked her friend, now unimageably annoyed with the situation. Ann's face lit up. "Sere, this is my boyfriend, Darien."
