By the next morning, Darien was feeling much better. However, Ami refused to let him get out of bed for six more days. It wasn't until the day of the press conference that he was allowed to get up. Nothing more had been said of the ring, which Serena had placed back in his pocket before he woke up. Nobody was sure about how to bring up the subject, but Darien had a secret plan. He had told his plan to Ami, and that was the only reason she allowed him out of the bed.

**AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE**

“Sailor Moon, what is the reason behind this press conference? You have never talked to reporters before.”

“The other Sailor Scouts and I feel that it is time to tell you the truth about us. We know that this will be very difficult for you to accept but accept it you must.”

“Are you trying to say that you are evil?”

An American reporter asked this, and all the Japanese reporters laughed, for they knew that could never be true.

“Evil?! Haven't you heard of all the creeps that we've defeated to protect this world??! How dare you…”

“That is enough Mars! We did not set this up to become indignant at everything the reporters ask. It is their nature to ask such questions. No, we are not evil, but we have decided to speak to you about the evil we have faced, and about a new Enemy which now threatens all of Earth.”

“Where do these enemies come from?”

“They come from many places throughout the universe. The original Enemy came from our past, which we will explain to you. This new Enemy comes from Nasu, one of Jupiter's moons.”

A few of the foreign reporters laughed, thinking it to be a joke, but again, the Japanese knew better. They had seen the horrific creatures the Scouts had defeated. After all, everyone has heard of Godzilla, right?

“I know, Enemies from space is heard to believe, but it is true. And they are not the only ones from space. All of the planets once held life. For reasons unclear to us, all life vanished except on Earth, the Moon, and the Sun. The Sun and Earth each had their own kingdoms. However, the Moon Kingdom ruled over them in ancient times. My mother was Queen Serenity of the Moon. The life from the other planets had fled to the Moon, and those princesses became the Sailor Scouts and protected me. Sailor Universe was the princess of the Sun, but was killed shortly before she was to come to the Moon. The Sun Kingdom was then destroyed by Queen Beryl of the Negaverse. She then brainwashed the people of the Earth into attacking the Moon, except for Prince Endymion. Endymion and I had fallen in love, but contact between the Moon and Earth was forbidden. He died protecting me, and I committed suicide. The other Scouts had also died in battle…”

“Excuse me, but do you really expect us to believe all of this??”

“Yes, now please, do not interrupt until I am finished! My mother used the last of her strength and the Silver Imperium Crystal to send all of us into the future to be reborn. Prince Endymion is now known as Tuxedo Mask. Sunlight Knight is Colin, a knight who tried to protect Sailor Universe in the past. I, Princess Serenity, was reborn as Sailor Moon. However, Beryl was only sealed away, not destroyed. She attacked and our memories returned with the help of our guardians. We defeated her and many others. Now, her twin sister- who inherited her powers- is attacking as Queen Karimenta of the Kullden Kingdom to get revenge for Beryl's death. This Enemy is more powerful than any we have faced. For a long time, we have known the future. This is thanks to Sailor Pluto, who is the Guardian of Time. She, unlike us, did not die, but has lived all these thousands of years. I am to be crowned Neo-Queen Serenity, and everyone on Earth will gain a longer life span thanks to the powers of the Silver Imperium Crystal. It is time for me to take the throne so that we may face the Enemy on a level playing field.”

“WHAT??! YOU EXPECT US JUST TO BELIEVE ALL OF THAT AND JUST HAND OVER CONTROL OF THE WORLD TO YOU??! ARE YOU CRAZY??”
