wrote this fanfic for my sister. Hope ya like it.Do not be too harsh it is my first fanfic.If you are a major Mamoru/Darien fan do not read, and if you do, please dont throw anything at me.

I do not own Sailor Moon or related characters they belong to Takeuchi, Naoko. Although I would like to own Seiya. Ahh….. Okay so I am getting my mind out of the gutter.

Chapter 3
Silver Sailor Moon

Usagi dropped the shirt that she had wrapped herself in and stepped into the shower. She let the warm water run luxuriously over her body for a long time.

Slowly the bad memories from the last year were washed away. The loss of her first true love, the loss of the child she would never have. The loss of her destiny. Tears came but the warm fragranced water washed them away also.

As she washed the tangles from her long blonde hair she felt as if a weight was being lifted from her. She cried, not the sobs of sorrow she had shed for the last year, but more of a peaceful, release. She cleansed all of her body from head to toe.
Usagi stepped out of the shower and looked at herself in the full sized mirror. She noticed how much weight she had lost, and how pale she had become. She had never been large, but now she was just a waif of herself. Her eyes and face were swollen from a year of crying. "I had not realized how much I had let myself go."

Not wanting to see how frail she looked Usagi slipped into some street clothes, and walked over to her dressing table and sat down. Strewn over the top of the table were many fragrant bottles of lotions, perfumes, and makeup of all kind.

Also among all of the unused bottles and makeup was a picture of Usagi and Mamoru's wedding. It was taken three years ago. She was 16, young, but very much in love, and very mature for her age. Well after all she and the other Sailor Senshi had been through, they had all matured quickly.

"I am Neo-Queen Serenity of Crystal Tokyo of the Silver Millennium ... no I am Usagi. I am 19 years old. The widow of Neo-King Endymion, Mamoru. I am a klutz and a crybaby, but that's who I Am." she held her head up high as she brushed out her long hair. Going through all of the motions, her mind was elsewhere.
I have many wonderful, loving friends. Whom I have been so terrible to. Rei, Minako, Ami, Makoto, oh and all of the others. She slammed her fist down on the table knocking several bottles off into the floor. All of her friends must have also suffered the loss. Everyone loved Mamoru. Everyone must have also grieved the loss of Chibi-usa, we lost our little girl, and Hotaru lost a best friend. I must not have been the only one who suffered.

Usagi yelled at her reflection. "How could I have been so damned selfish? To my friends, to my family. Oh, I slapped Rei and Seiya, will they ever forgive me?" She shook her head, "I have a lot to fix in my life." She brushed her hair and put it up in ribbons.

"I am still young; I have a long life ahead of me. I can make my own destiny." Flashes of the previous night run through her mind, she blushed. "Seiya...was I making love to you, or to the memory of my Mamoru?"

"How could I have done that to him? How could I have used him in such a way? Will he ever forgive me? What of our friendship?" His lips, his eyes, his.... she felt a warm feeling inside her that was taken away a year ago. She remembered Seiya's arms around her and the passion from their lovemaking.

She looked in the mirror she realized she had finished with her hair. Without even a conscious thought she had put her hair up into her signature buns and ponytails. Her hair was much longer now; in the ponytails it almost touched the floor. Odango.

"Hey, Odango atama!" echoed in her mind, but it was not the voice of her beloved Mamo-chan, but that of Kou Seiya.

"Oh, Seiya-san... I want to live. Do I have the strength?"

Looking at her reflection, seeing a little of her old self she swore things were going to change. Usagi was back, and she was ready to put things right. She felt something stir deep within her.

Usagi picked the glass rose up and walked out on her balcony over looking the city.

A breeze went by Usagi; she caught the scent of roses in the air. "How peculiar, there aren’t any roses around here." The sweet smell of roses was all around her now.

“Odango.”

Seiya!

She turned around and came face to face with Neo-King Endymion. He was standing in front of her in his lavender tuxedo and cape. In his hand he was holding the silver tipped cane she had given him last Christmas. The wind had blown his hair down into his eyes; it made him look more like a boy than a king. He looked as magnificent as she remembered him.

"Mamoru."

"Usako, my love."

"Mamoru, I am having a nervous breakdown." She shook her head thinking she was just seeing things. "I'm dreaming."

Neo-King Endymion laughed, "No, I am really here, but only for a little while." He pulled her into his arms. Usagi remembered how warm she felt when she was this close to him. How good he smelled.

She looked up into his face, his eyes so deep and blue you could get lost forever in them. His thick dark hair had blown down onto his forehead. Seiya’s face crossed her mind; his eyes were also blue, but a lighter shade of blue, more like the ocean. In fact his eyes were so much different than Mamoru's. Seiya’s hair is also black, but his is wavy, long and it is tied up in the back. Feeling ashamed, why was she thinking about Seiya at all when she was in her true loves arms?

He looked down into her eyes, with so much love, but he also had worry in them. "You are in grave danger, my love. The future black moon is still after Crystal Tokyo and you. They are out for blood. My blood was not enough. You need to protect yourself and everyone you love."

She pulled away from him. "Protect the ones I love," she said softly with her head lowered, "I couldn't even protect you. I don't care if I live or die; I lost you and my destiny. Why should I care what happens?" Turned her back to him, and sobbed. “I love you so much; I miss you Mamo-chan. I am nothing with out you.”

"Besides, I no longer have the Imperial Silver Crystal; I can't even change into Sailor Moon any longer."

"You do care. And destiny is what you make of it. Our destiny just was not meant to be, but you do have a destiny waiting for you. You have so many people who care about you." He grabbed her shoulders and turned her around to him. "Just because my life has ended here for me, does not mean that yours should end."

"It has..." Usagi sobbed. She reached up to her heart, she felt as if at any moment her heart would shatter into a million pieces, just like her crystal.

"No it has not. Don't ever say that."

"I don't have you." She fell into his arms. “Mamoru, you could have come back to me. It’s my entire fault that the silver crystal shattered. It’s my entire fault that you couldn’t come back to me.”

He held his queen tight in his arms. “No, Usa, it was not your fault. The power of the silver crystal did not give out. That was not your fault.” Mamoru held her back from him so he could look into her eyes. “It was my choice not to come back. My soul is old and tired. I’m ready to move on.”

“Why, do you not love me any more?” She cried. “Don’t you understand, I just can’t go on with out you.”

“No, no I do love you. With all of my heart.” He put his hand on her face. “Look at me Usa, you are the strongest person I know. You are strong because you have so much love in you. I know you can survive without me.” His words echoed those of Seiya. “I also know that you have love in your heart for another.”

She looked up at him. “I don’t understand what you mean.”

“Seiya.”

Usagi turned red. Did he know about last night and what happened between Seiya and me? “I don’t know how I feel, besides after last night…” She turned around not able to face her Mamoru. “After last night he will probably never want to see me again.”

“My dear Usa, “he walked up beside her to look out over the city, “sometimes you are really innocent. Seiya loves you, no matter what, he will always love you. As much as it pains me, I know deep down you love him too. You have for a long time.”

Shocked, she turned to look at him. “I love you and what about our destiny?”

He looked down at her with sadness in his eyes. “I’ve felt it for a long time; our destiny was going to change. Ever since you met Seiya, our destiny was never meant to be.”

“What about our future, and what about our past?” Usagi put her face into his broad chest and cried.

He stroked her hair. “Our future was never meant to be, and our past will remain the same.” He smiled down at her. “There will be another king, and you two will live happily ever after.”

“You need to pull yourself together.” Mamoru pushed her out at arms length again. “Your life is not over, it is about to begin anew. Sailor Moon and the Senshi have a powerful enemy to fight.”

She shook her head. “With out the silver crystal there is no Sailor Moon or Sailor Senshi.”

Mamoru looked deep into her eyes and held both of her hands in his. “My last gifts to you.” A bright light glowed between them. In their clasped hands a long moon scepter appeared. The scepter looked not unlike the one that Queen Selenity gave to Usagi so long ago, except it was much longer. “This will help you fight.”

“But I still can’t transform, my crystal is gone.”

“No it is not. The power was never in the crystal, it has been inside of you all the time. You just won’t let it shine.” Endymion took the glass rose out of her hand and put it up to her heart. The rose began to glow, first it turned into a silver lotus flower, but it changed into a red crystal, shaped like a rose. She could only stare at the crystal. "This is the Silver Moon Crystal. This crystal is formed from your strength and love. It is also formed from the love that Seiya has for you." He held the rose crystal out in his hand, a blast of light came out of it and it became a small red crystal rose pendant. He put it around Usagi's neck and fastened it.

"This crystal has the power to transform you into Silver Sailor Moon. It is the last and the most powerful of your transformations."

"Silver Sailor Moon?" She looked at him.

"I can't protect you, and the Senshi need you. You need to destroy this enemy before they destroy you. You are strong, and you have a lot of people who believe in you."

"Please don't leave."

"I have to," he kissed her forehead.

"This is bye forever. Is it not?" Tears stung her eyes.

"Yes, but I will be watching over you." He kissed her long and deep, "I love you." Then he disappeared.

"I love you." She did not cry, and she was not sad. Usagi finally felt at peace, more than she had been in a year. "Now I can move on."

Rei, Ami, Minako, and Makoto felt the immense energy that came from their queens’ room. They all rushed upstairs to find out what had created the energy.

Makoto broke through the door and ran into the room. “Serenity what’s going on?” Shocked at what she saw she almost fell flat on her face. The other three women ran right into her knocking her down. There in front of them stood, Silver Sailor Moon.

The energy from the Silver Moon Crystal made each of the women transform into the Sailor Senshi of Crystal Tokyo. Each Senshi could feel the new power given to them from the crystal.


“Sailor Moon.” The Senshi said in unison.

The Senshi just looked at each other; they didn’t know what to say.

“Usagi?” Mars said finally.

“My friends, you are all here.” Sailor Moon smiled at them all.

“Yes were here can you please explain what is going on?” Jupiter asked. “The silver crystal is gone. How did we change?”

“Wow I like my new uniform.” Venus turned around in front of the mirror and looked at her new suit. Her suit was the same colors as usual, as were the others, but her skirt was fuller and had a second layer of a paler yellow. Her bow in back had more ribbons that flowed from the back. All of the scouts wore knee high boots with the scouts’ colors at the top.

“Let’s just say that I woke up from a bad dream.” Usagi blushed thinking about who she woke up with. “I looked deep in my heart and found my new crystal.”

Mars walked over to Sailor Moon. “What new crystal?”

“The Silver Moon Crystal, it’s very powerful.”

Mercury was typing something into her new computer. “I have never seen anything like this before.” She looked around at the other Senshi. “Well, I guess the Sailor Senshi are back together.”

“Yeah,” Jupiter shouted, “Black Moon beware.”

“Usagi are you all right?” Mars looked deeply into her friends eyes.

“Yes, I feel better than I have in a long time.” She smiled and hugged her friend. “I am so sorry for slapping you.”

“Well I kind of deserved it, I was a little brash.”

Sailor Moon looked at her, “A little brash.” Both women started to laugh and hugged one another.

All of the Senshi walked over to talk to Sailor Moon. Jupiter became serious. “Pluto had a meeting with us last night to talk about the Black Moon family. It is really going to be a serious fight, because we may be fighting the Doom Phantom again.”

Mars put her arms around her friends. “Well now we are back and stronger than before, I think they will have a fight on their hands.”

Venus cut in. “You know speaking of last night.” A mischievous look crossed her face. “I saw a certain gorgeous young man; I will not say his name.”

“I will; it was Seiya.” Jupiter added.

“Yes Seiya, he accompanied our friend here to her room, but I did not see him leave.” Venus put her arm around Sailor Moon’s shoulders. “Is there anything you would like to tell us?”

The Senshi looked at Sailor Moon. She blushed from head to toe. “No, it’s none of your business.”

“Seiya.” Mercury almost dropped her computer. “Did he say anything about Taiki?”

Sailor Moon laughed, she loved to see her friend blush. “Yes he did, and Yaten, too.”

“What did he say?” Venus and Mercury screamed out in unison.

“Only that they thought about you two all the time.” She smiled sadly, thinking about Seiya, and then she cheered up. “You know what? I’m hungry lets go raid the kitchen, how about a picnic.”

Everyone moaned. Mars slapped Sailor Moon on the back, a little too hard, because she flew; face first, onto the floor. “Yeah, our Usagi is back.” Mars had tears in her eyes.

In a mansion by the sea, the Outer Senshi could feel their queen’s power. Setsuna, Micharu, Setsuna, and Hotaru were changed into their new Sailor Senshi forms. Each Senshi could feel the new power given to them from the crystal.

Uranus smiled at the others. “Well, it seems our little kitten has come back to life.”

“Yes, and she is extremely powerful this time.” Neptune smiled back at her. “I don’t think I have ever felt power like this.” She pulled out her Deep Aqua Mirror and it glowed green.

“Silver Sailor Moon has been born, the most powerful incarnation of Sailor Moon. Queen Serenity has finally reached deep within her soul and awaken her full power.” Saturn said deep in thought.

Pluto looked at her Garnet Orb, it also glowed. “None of this was in my charts; the eyes of Cronos have been blind to these events. All of this is Queen Serenity’s doing. She is changing her own destiny.” She shook her head. “That takes extreme power.”

“Well, I guess we can now fight our enemy, and I feel they are going to have hell to pay.” Uranus pulled out her Space Sword and looked at its yellow glow in wonder.


Luna sat upright in bed. Queen Serenity?

The lump in the bed beside of her moved around, then sat up. “Luna, is everything all right?”

“Artimus, don’t you feel that energy?” She turned to look at him and smiled. “Queen Serenity has transformed into Silver Sailor Moon.”

Artimus jumped out of bed. “We need to get down to Earth quick, our girls may need us.”

Seiya exhaled deeply as he looked out one of the grand windows of the palace. Lost in the night sky, he was oblivious to the ball that was going on around him. He wondered how his Odango atama was doing. A month had passed and he still could not stop thinking about that night with Usagi.

"Damn, why did I have to be so weak?" He could still feel the soft touch of Usagi's lips on his and he could still her soft skin under his finger tips. He could feel the warmth of her body against his. "How she must hate me."

He knew that what happened between them was all-wrong, but it made his emotions towards her all the stronger. Completely lost in thought he saw a bright light shoot through space. "What was that?"

Also, having seen the flash Taiki came up to him. "Seiya, that was in the direction of Earth. Do you think something is wrong? I hope Ami…” she shook her head, “everyone is okay."

A few minutes later, Seiya with the look of urgency and worry kneeled on his right knee, in front of Queen Kakyuu. "Please Queen, pardon me for interrupting, but I need to go back to Earth. I sense that something is happening."

Queen Kakyuu, sat in her modest chair in her grand ballroom, she looked down at Seiya. She motioned him to stand. "Seiya, please take a walk with me."

He walked over to his queen and took her hand. As they walked, arm in arm, through the palace, everyone said what a beautiful couple they made. Many people in the kingdom commented on how they should marry and rule the kingdom, but Kakyuu knew that his heart belonged elsewhere. She felt a little envious.

The orchestra’s music followed them as they walked outside through the garden, all of the flowers were in bloom, and the heavens were shining with all of their glory, this was such a romantic scene. But Seiya was too concerned for Usagi to notice. Kakyuu stopped and turned toward him. "Seiya, you have such a big heart. You would go to the ends of the universe for that girl."

"Usagi," he paused at her name, "she has done so much for us, and she is a....”

The queen put her fingers to his lips to stop him. She spoke almost in a whisper not at all like the powerful and beautiful queen she had become, "Seiya, I know how you feel for Neo-Queen Serenity. I know why you decided to stay in this male form, while the others didn't."

Seiya could only look at his queen; he had not realized that Queen Kakyuu had been able to read him so well.

"Serenity saved my life, and I know that it is because of her that I have my planet back. I also feel that something bad has happened on Earth, so it is my duty to help. “She looked deep into his blue eyes. “But I don't think that she truly knows what she has in you."

"She has a friend."

Kakyuu shook her head. "I know that you want more, I just hope she realizes your love for her before its too late. I will grant you permission to go back to Earth, but you have to take Taiki and Yaten.” She talked more like a queen. "Seiya now that your permanent form is male you will no longer be Sailor Star Fighter. You are Star Fighter Knight. Taiki and Yaten have a choice, but I think their choice will be the same as yours. Promise that you will be careful."

He bowed in front of her, "Yes, I will. Thank you...."

Again she cut him off. "If something should happen," she lowered her head, "and you come back. Remember I will be here waiting for you."
The wind made her long, red hair flow out behind her and cascade down her back. Her skin looked so pale, and iridescent under the rays of Kimokusei's twin moons. The fragrant scent of olives drifted through the air. The tears in her eyes made the green sparkle like emeralds, but Seiya could only look at his beautiful queen and see Usagi.

Seiya leaned over and kissed his queen's cheek. Not knowing what to say, he ran to get the others and prepare for their trip.

Queen Kakyuu watched him as he ran off into the darkness. She felt as if her heart would break for Seiya. She knew that she had lost her three loyal guardians forever. They were headed for their destinies on Earth. She knew it was the least she could do for the woman who saved her, her planet, and her people.
