Seiya was woken just as the sun was coming up by a set of soft taps on the front door of the apartment he now shared with his two “brothers.” He slipped on a white T-shirt and silk red boxers, seeing as it had been hot that night, and he had prefered to sleep in his own skin. The knocking stopped, and there was a soft bang against the door. He raced downstars and opened the door, only to have Haruka, who was then leaning with her back against the door, head in her hands, fall back into his arms.
“Haruka? I wasn't…” Seiya noticed the fresh tears falling down her face.
“Haruka, what happened?” Haruka looked up into his eyes, and, whereas before only tears were falling, she totally and conpletely broke down. Seiya started to panic. First of all, because he was totally uprepared to have a distraught, crying, yelling Haruka sobbing into his chest, and second of all because he was afraid her screaming would wake up the other tenants, or worse, his brothers.
“C'mon” He picked up the stilll sobbing/screaming blonde and raced her out to the fire escape, and up onto the roof, regardless of the rain. He put her on his knee, as he held her to his chest, and rubbed her back ain an attempt to calm herdown. It took awhile, but the screams finally subsided to occasional jerks.
“Haruka-san?” He lifted her face towards him. “What happened?” Haruka swallowed hard, and more tears poured from her eyes.
“M-michi…” She broke down again, soaking Seiya's shirt even more than it already was. Seiya put two and two together.
“Oh, Haruka, I'm so sorry…” He held her tight as she cried into him. Right now, Seiya knew, she just needed someone there. He wished he could tell her he knew, that he could sympathize, but he could only imagine the pain she was going through right now.
“Daijobu, Haruka, everything will be okay.” He held her, and whispered to her, as she poured out her emotions to him, although he couldn't understand any of what she was saying.

Haruka calmed down, and pulled herself up to face Seiya. She expected him to laugh at her, and joke about her weakness, but all she saw in his eyes was concern and worry. Her eyes widened as he pulled her up to rest her head on his shoulder.
“What happened Haruka?”
She braced herself, although she knew he already knew the answer.
“It, It's over.”
“I'm sorry.”
“Yea, that's what she said,” Haruka grimaced, and Seiya placed his hand on the small of her back.
“It's alright Haruka.” Haruka nodded, but Seiya could tell she didn't believe him. He remembered that the two of them shared an apartment with the other outers, and Seiya could tell that she was not looking forward to going back. Seiya thought for a moment then uttered the one sentence he knew Yaten and Taiki would kill him for.
“If you need a place to stay,” Haruka looked up into his eyes once more. “You can stay with us.” “But, but the others wi-“
“I'll deal with them,” Haruka began to stutter out more excuses, but Seiya could tell she was relieved.
“Come on.” He gently stood up, setting her onto her feet, and led her by her hand back into the apartment and to his room.
“You can sleep in my bed for the night.”
“But you shouldn't be sleeping on the couch in your own home Seiya.”
“In never said anything about sleeping on the couch.” Seiya smirked. Haruka took a few steps back.
“D-demo…”
“It's a queen-size, and you can trust me to keep my hands to myself. I just figured that it might be hard, your first night without…” Seiya cursed himself. Open mouth, insert foot. “S-sorry…”
“Arigatou…”
“Wha-“ Seiya was stunned. He thought he had crossed the line when he breached Haruka's breakup, but here she was…
“You're, you're right. I, I'm not used to it Not used to, to…” Haruka began to tremble, and Seiya placed his finger on her lips.
“Shh.” He whispered, although still stunned. “Come on,” He pulled back the covers and slid onto the bed.
“Demo,” Haruka exclaimed in sudden realization. “I don't have anything to wear!” Seiya turned red.
“I, I don't care if you… but if you do…you don't have…” Seiya started stammering, and Haruka, surprisingly, caught the gist of what he was saying. Her, and his, face turned red as she stripped to her bra and underwear, and slipped beneath the sheets. They were cold on her skin, so she subconsciously curled up to Seiya. Before she was able to correct herself, his arms wrapped around her.
“I don't care what you're in Haruka,” He whispered. “It's okay if you're cold.” She blushed an even deeper hue as she snuggled up closer to him. Minutes later, she was lulled to sleep by the soft rising and falling of his chest, and fell into an uneasy rest.

Haruka woke to what sounded like a battlefront. She threw on her clothes from yesterday, and slipped down the stairs of the two-story penthouse. As she neared the kitchen, the sounds distincted themselves into voices.
“SHE CAN'T STAY HERE SEIYA!”
“WHY BLOODY WELL NOT?!?!”
“BECAUSE SHE CAN'T! SHE HATES US, WE HATE HER, AND THAT'S NEVER GOING TO CHANGE!” Haruka felt something stab at her heart.
“WELL MAYBE IT CAN! EXACTLY HOW LONG HAVE WE SPENT GETTING TO KNOW HER, HUH? MAYBE IF WE JUST, give her…a chance…” In the kitchen, Yaten and Taiki exchanged glances.
“Whatever Seiya.”
“I just hope you know what you're getting into.” Haruka slipped behind a shelf as the two starlights walked out of the kitchen and through the front door. Seiya slipped out behind them, locked it, and sighed.
“You know, you can come out now.” Haruka blushed, and slipped out of her hiding spot. “I'm sorry about those two. They're, something else.” Seiya sighed again, and walked back to the kitchen.
“Would you like anything?”
“Huh, what?”
“To eat.”
“Uh, sure, thanks.” Seiya went around preparing breakfast for the both of them, as Haruka gingerly sat down at the oak table. After a few minutes of silence, Seiya reached over to grasp Haruka's hands. She looked at him with unshed tears, driven from her first breakfast without Michiru. He walked around to the other side of the table, and held out his arms to her. It didn't take long for her to throw herself to him, and begin sobbing once more. He lifted her up and went over to the couch, and sat down with her on his lap, as he stroked her hair and back, whispering into her ear.
“I'm sorry Seiya.” He was taken aback.
“What for?”
“For placing all this on you, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't force my weakness on you. I should go now.” He stood up and gently grabbed her by the waist as she prepared to run out the door, and spun her around to face him.
“Haruka, you aren't weak, and this isn't a weakness. You're hurting, Haruka. Everyonene does. I want, I want to help stop that hurting.” Haruka blushed, and cracked a weak smile.
“Thank you Seiya, but I don't think I could ever stop hurting now. Sayonara.”
“Haruka, wait! Please!” Seiya raced out the door after her, but she was too fast and he knew he could never catch up.
`Be careful Haruka.' He willed her with all of his heart. `Don't hurt yourself even more.'
