Starry Eyes
Haruka can't focus. She can't sleep, she can't race, all she can think about is him. What's going on? Will it ever stop? And what the hell is she going to do about Michiru? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Sailor Moon is not mine. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Haruka slipped in the mud. She heard laughing, so she began to laugh. She laughed harder and harder until she could barely breathe. Still chuckling, she rolled over to her side, only to come face to face with him. She looked into the dark pools of his navy blue eyes, could almost feel his silky, raven dark hair, and found herself slipping in deeper, and deeper. He kneeled above her, and brought his lips to her neck. Higher, and higher until...they met her lips. She was engulfed in a flurry of passion and warmth. She could feel her lungs screaming for air, but she ignored it. Her arms wrapped around his muscled chest, and pressed up against him. She felt his breath on her neck as they broke the kiss and went in for another, as she was trapped in his arms, absorbing his life. She turned her head, so instead of meeting her already soft and bruised lips, they met with the tender skin of her neck. She shivered as the touch of his lips spread through her body, even more as instead of going up ...they took themselves down to the nape of her neck, then to her soft collarbone, and on. His hands traveled down her back, until they found the hem of her skirt. She shivered as his hands brushed her tender thigh, and moved up wards until... Haruka's eyes shot open. This time, however, the dream had much more effect, since she had not been expecting it, and since she was facing him in her bed. She didn't know why it had come back, or why only after she and Michiru...
"Stop thinking about her." She looked up.
"Seiya, I thought I told you to go to sleep."
"I did, but I-" Seiya gasped through his teeth as he talked, from even the little exertion that was talking.
"I had a dream..." He trailed off into silence. Haruka became suddenly aware of everything in the room as her heart pounded in realization.
"And how," she hesistantly began.
"And how did you, how did you like the dream? Demo," She hastily added. "You don't have to if you don't want to, or if it's too much strain."
"It's no, mmnn, strain."
"I heard that groan, Kou, no more talking, go back to sleep."
"Demo-"
"Seiya, you just woke up from falling off a cliff, every three or so words you groan or gasp in pain, and your voice is so weak even Chibi-moon's Pink Sugar Heart Attack could tear it into pieces." Seiya just stared at her, and would have cocked his head if he could have.
"Nevermind," Haruka sighed, remembering that he had met Chibi-usa, but never seen her as Chibi-moon (thankfully).
"Haruka-san," Seiya whispered. "When you get out of here, I'll still be at this hospital, right?" Seiya asked, his question puntuated by several grimaces.
"Hai, that's right. You're a lot worse off than I am, so you'll need to stay longer."
"Demo, I don't-" Seiya paused, and Haruka could have sworn he was on the verge of tears.
"I don't want to be alone," he sqeaked, even softer than before. It turned out Haruka's earlier estimate of the bed distance was off, and that they were really only three or four feet away, so she reached out her arm, ignoring it's painful protests, and clasped his hand in hers.
"You won't be." Seiya smiled at her, a smile still dazzling even though tinted red, and through the plastic tent over the upper half of his shoulders.
"Arigato, Haruka-san." Haruka simply shrugged and turned her head away, trying to appear indifferent, but kept holding on to Seiya's hand.
"Sigh, just go back to sleep."
"Oh, by the way," Seiya continued, in a voice sounding almost forced, which it probably was. " It was beautiful." Seiya then closed his eyes, and Haruka simply lay there, wondering what he meant

(Takes place during the above.)
Seiya slipped in the mud. So did the person who was helping him. So, he began to chuckle. The person beside him began to laugh as well. Seiya laughed harder and harder until he could barely breathe. Still chuckling, he rolled over to his side, only to come face to face with her. He looked into the light seas of her emerald green eyes, could almost feel her short, silky blonde hair, and found his self slipping in deeper, and deeper. He became over come with his desires finally, after so long of building up, and turned to kneel above her, and brought his lips to her neck. Higher, and higher until...they met her lips. He was immediately sucked into a flood of passion, as he used his tongue to go deeper, and deeper. He could feel his lungs screaming for air, but he ignored it. Her arms wrapped around his muscled chest, and pressed up against him. He broke the kiss for a second, breathing heavily on her neck, and went in for another, since she was now trapped in his arms. However, she turned her head, so instead of meeting her already soft and bruised lips, he once again met with the tender skin of her neck. She shivered as the touch of his lips spread through her body, even more as instead of going up ...they took themselves down to the nape of her neck, then to her soft collarbone, and on. He couldn't help but give in completely when he felt her shudder, igniting all sorts of new things in him. His hands traveled down her back, until they found the hem of her skirt. He could barely control them as his hands brushed her tender thigh, and moved up wards until... Seiya awoke suddenly. It was the same dream he'd been having ever since Haruka pushed him away the night after the, uh, incident. However, tonight it was, it was different somehow. His thoughts were once again interupted by a shot of pain, this time running through his right leg. He didn't think he could take anymore pain. He looked over to Haruka.
'And so did she,' He watched her carefully as she awoke as well. Although he couldn't see well through the plastic tent, he could tell that she was awake. Soon her eyes clouded, and Seiya knew she must've been...
"Stop thinking about her." Haruka looked up.
"Seiya, I thought I told you to go to sleep." She demanded
"I did, but I-" Seiya gasped through his teeth as he talked, as just a small twist of his shoulders had sent torrents of agony screaming through his body. "I had a dream..." He trailed off into silence. He didn't know why he was telling her this, especially since it had been about her, and felt so embarrassed at the thought of actually having dreamed that.
"And how," Haruka began suddenly, with some of what Seiya thought was nervousness in her voice. "And how did you, how did you like the dream? Demo," She hastily added. "You don't have to if you don't want to, or if it's too much strain."
"It's no, mmnn, strain." Seiya groaned, as another random burst of fatigue induced pain rippled through his body.
"I heard that groan, Kou, no more talking, go back to sleep."
"Demo-"
"Seiya, you just woke up from falling off a cliff, every three or so words you groan or gasp in pain, and your voice is so weak even Chibi-moon's Pink Sugar Heart Attack could tear it into pieces." Although he was relieved that Haruka had cut him off, since he was finding it harder to talk even with the oxygen thingy, because he couldn't get enough air, he still felt irritated that she had cut him off.
'And what the hell is a Sugar Pink Heart Attack? Better yet, what's a chibi-moon?'
"Nevermind," Haruka sighed, obviously realizing he had no clue what she was talking about. Seiya lay queitly for a moment, then hesitanty whispered in the now loudest voice he could muster, "Haruka-san," pause.
"When you get out of here, I'll still be at this hospital, right?" Seiya asked, his question puntuated by several breaths.
"Hai, that's right. You're a lot worse off than I am, so you'll need to stay longer."
"Demo, I don't-" Seiya paused, unsure of how Haruka would react, and practically on the verge of tears, half of them from the pain, the other half from...
"I don't want to be alone," he sqeaked, even softer than before. He closed his eyes to blink back the tears threatening to pour out, and started when Haruka unexepectedly clasped his hand in hers.
"You won't be." Seiya smiled at her, a smile still dazzling even though tinted red, and through the plastic tent over the upper half of his shoulders.
"Arigato, Haruka-san." She simply shrugged and turned her head away, trying to appear indifferent, but Seiya knew she was worried about him, and didn't let on that he could hear the heart monitor through the tent too. She sighed and muttered, "Just go back to sleep," and Seiya happily obligued.
"Oh, by the way," Seiya continued, forcing himself to utter one last sentence before he succumbed to his fatigue. He wanted to answer her question, now that he knew.
"It was beautiful." Seiya then chuckled as he closed his eyes, while Haruka just lay there, confused.
