Oh, this part is going to make you go, " O.o WTF?!?!?" LOL!!! >:)

Monday 10:55 am
Baku knocked on the door to Captain's room, hoping he was not in.
" Come in."
Bakunetsumaru opened the door and peered in. " Um, hi Captain."
Captain looked up from his desk where he was doing some paper work. " Hello, Baku. What's up?"
" Uh, where are those weird little ID thingies…um… at?" Baku asked. Captain pointed to the dresser. " They're right there…Why do you need them?"
Oh, shit. Quick thinking, quick thinking…! " Uh, I just wanted to see if…I can, uh, well…show them to Shute and Guneagle!"
" Oh, alright then." Captain bought it? Wow, this was easy. " Thanks." Baku then grabbed his ID, and headed towards the door. " Oh, and Baku?" Baku froze. " Er, yes?"
" Try not to rub it in their faces, alright?" Baku quietly sighed in relief. " No problem, Captain!" Baku then stumbled out of the room.
` Man, that was too easy...' he thought. ` Well, step one is completed!'

Tuesday 3: 15 pm
Bakunetsumaru stood in the mortuary ( Is that the right place?) a bit nervously. He hated being around the dead, and he especially HATED being in a mortuary!
" Er, excuse me..." Baku said to a man that worked there. " Is the body of...Miss. Jessica Thompson here?" The man looked at him questionably. " Oh, right..." Baku then showed him his ID. The man blinked. " Oh, an investigator. Yes, she's here."
Bakunetsumaru followed him down the hall, and into a gloomily lit room. " She's number 56, I believe," the man said while looking at a clipboard that hung on the wall. Baku nodded, then went over to the wall of what looked like filing cabinets.
` Did she get cremated or something?' he asked himself while looking for number 56. ` I mean, this seems kinda small for a person to be stuffed in..."
He then found the drawer that was labeled 56. He pulled it out, then saw a lump in a black bag. ` Geee, never mind the cremation part then.' He swallowed, then looked at the man. " Er...do you mind if ...uh..." How was Baku going to say, `can I take the dead body' without sounding conspicuous?
" If you take it for examination?" the man suggested. Baku blinked. " Sure, with the investigations that are going on on trying to find the killer, go ahead. She doesn't have any friends or relatives from what the records say, so there won't be a funeral for her to miss." Baku felt a bit sad about that. She had no friends or relatives to mourn her death or remember her.
" Um...thank you." Baku looked back at the body, then flinched. He had to carry a dead body to the other side of town. Terrific, maybe he and she can get a cup of tea along the way!
**
4:01 pm
Bakunetsumaru rode on Entego as the body was strapped behind him. He and Entengo didn't like this, but there was no other way to get her there without people thinking. " Better hurry, Entengo," Baku coached, feeling really uncomfortable. That master guy sure as hell better have Zero, or he'd be really, REALLY mad!!!
Entengo wasted no time in going as fast as hoarsely possible. He didn't care where they were going, just as long as Baku got rid of the dead body from his back!
**
5:12 pm
" Damnit, I'm too early…" Baku swore as he looked at the sun's position to tell the time. " Do I have to wait here all afternoon or what?!" Entengo grazed on grass from a safe distance away from the bagged up body. Baku glanced at it, then shivered. He didn't get to look at her, but he figured she was the woman who was on the TV.
But why in the hell would that mysterious guy want the body? Baku sat down and pondered this as he was at the edge of the forest, looking at the sparking sea.
Well, the only solution he could think of was A.) He killed it---he was starting to feel extremely uncomfortable by referring to a dead person as a she, and started feeling a bit less freaked out by calling it an it now---B.) It was his girlfriend and wanted to do some sort of reviving ritual, or C.) He was a freak who collected corpses. :p
Baku yawned. " Oh, whatever," he muttered. The sun was nearly hidden behind the sea, and stars were starting to accumulate. " Well, I guess I'll have to sit here for another-what---three hours?"
`
" Well, that all depends on when the other party shall arrive. Doesn't it?"
" GYAA!!" Baku jumped up, while drawing out his swords. He relaxed slightly when he saw what was sneaking about in the shadows. " Drain?"
" Yes."
" You son of a bitch, don't sneak up on me!" Baku spat. Drain's shoulders moved slightly in what resembled a shrug. " Sorry. But if you will follow me, we shall take the body off of your hands…" Baku glared at Drain, but nodded. " Fine." He then reluctantly picked up the bagged body.
" Oh, please remove it from its bag." Baku twitched, then sighed.
" It's for Zero…" he muttered to himself. He placed it down, then cut the bag open. It was the blonde haired woman. She was probably around her late twenties at most. Her eyes were closed this time, as though she was asleep. Baku swallowed hard, then picked her up. She was still wearing her navy blue business suit from the night she was killed. " O-okay…. hurry up and lead before I faint here," Baku growled, feeling his legs shiver.
Drain gracefully glided into the forest as twilight started to descend. He led him to the carriage, and the master was waiting for him next to it. " Gee, what a welcoming party," Baku murmured to himself, feeling very agitated with this whole ordeal. " Okay, here's Jessica, now where the hell is Zero, ya sicko!?" Drain slightly stiffened at the way Baku was talking to his master. The master did not flinch. He didn't even acknowledge Bakunetsumaru's presence by looking at him.
He then moved an arm slightly under his cloak. Drain nodded at the silent command, and walked up to Bakunetsumaru. Baku still couldn't see under the hood. Damn.
" The master wants me to take her now." Baku gripped at the corpse. " We had a deal; you give me Zero first! If I don't see Zero standing in front of me at the count of five…I'll…I'll…." Baku then dropped Jessica's body on the ground, then drew out a sword, pointing it at her. " I'll burn her to ashes!" Drain growled slightly.
" You---"
" One…. Two…" Drain tensed, making a flickering motion with his hand.
" Drain, what Bakunetsumaru wants, Bakunetsumaru shall receive." Both Drain and Baku snapped their heads towards the master. Drain bowed. " Yes master…"
Baku's eyes widened in disbelief at the sound of the voice. " You…you can't be…"
" Oh…" The master shook his head so that the hood fell off of his head.
Zero blinked. " But I can…" Baku's eyes grew to be eleven sizes larger than usual. " HOLY SHIT!!!!" Baku screamed, topping backwards in utter alarm. " You look just like Zero!!!"
Zero sweatdroped. " Um, I AM Zero, stupid!" Baku started laughing in little gasps, then started to sway to the side. " Oh my god…." He muttered before passing out.
Drain glanced down at Bakunetsumaru, then at Zero. " Well, I'd say that went well."
" Shut up, Drain," Zero snapped, very upset about this. He sighed. " Okay…take him into the carriage…I'll talk to him when he awakes…"
****
Baku moaned as he started to regain consciousness. " God…" He mumbled, keeping his eyes closed. " That was one hell of a nightmare…"
" What was?"
Baku's eyes snapped open at the sound of the voice. He bolted upright, and looked wildly around. He then spotted Zero sitting across from him. He then realized he was inside the carriage.
" I'm glad you're awake, Firefly," Zero said sweetly. Baku blinked repeatedly, then rubbed his eyes. " …I must still be dreaming," Baku concluded to himself.
Zero narrowed his eyes in annoyance. " For the last time, it's ME! Geeze!" Baku blinked.
" Hmmm…Well, if you really ARE Zero, then he'd know what my most thing is!" Zero rolled his eyes.
" Everyone knows that; rice balls…." He then added, " And me." Baku stared at him for a moment, then his eyes started to become glassy. " Z…Zero….?"
Zero moved over to sit next to Baku, then wrapped an arm around the samurai's shoulders. " Please, don't cry," Zero whispered while nuzzling Baku's neck. Baku stifled back a sob, then leaned his head against Zero's. Zero wrapped his other arm around Baku's waist and held him close.
" Is it…really you?" Baku asked. Zero raised his head up, and nodded. " Yes, it is. And I'm back for real…" Zero then closed his eyes, and leaned his head towards Baku's for a kiss.
** FWACK!!"**
Zero nursed to his injured head as he was now sitting upside down on the other side of the carriage. " Ow! Baku!!" Zero looked up at Baku, but then started to sweat at what he saw. Baku was glaring at Zero heatedly. " Um…dear, is something wrong….?"
" Don't you `dear' me, damnit!!" Baku yelled, feeling beyond angry with the knight. " You die, leave me alone, then you make me get a friggin' corpse-which mind you I AM SCARED OF THEN DEAD-and then try to flirt with me?!" Baku started to shake with rage. " I outta just …just… RAAH!" Baku slammed his fist to the wall, making it go through to the outside. Zero sweatdroped fretfully.
" Baku, I had a very good reason for all of this…"
Baku crossed his arms. " Oh really? WHAT?!" Zero stiffened. " I…erm…" He sat up strait and sighed. " I…I can't tell you…..not yet."
" Well, isn't that great. JUST great…How could you do this to me Zero?!" He looked away. " You're sadistic…" Baku then flung the door open.
" Where are you going?!" Zero demanded. Baku shot a menacing glare at Zero. " I'm going home!" He then jumped out of the carriage, and proceeded to stop away. Zero leaned out of the carriage. " Bakunetsumaru!!" he called after him, but Baku ignored him and kept walking.
" Drain, take the body," Zero commanded to the hooded mecha. Drain nodded. " Yes, sir." Zero then flew after Baku. Drain shook his head, then went to herd the horses up.
" …Huh?" He looked around for the missing horses, then saw Entengo with the black mares. A little sweatdrop fell down his head as he watched Entengo flirt with the two horses. " …I'm not getting paid enough for this…"
*
" Baku--"
" No!"
" Will you ju--"
" No!!"
" Bak--"
" I said NO!" Zero flew in front of Bakunetsumaru. " Will you just listen to me for a minute?!" Baku glared at Zero as he landed on the ground.
" …Get out of my way, Zero." Zero shook his head. " Darling, please…I…I'm sorry for doing all this to you…you know that…"
" No, I DON'T." Baku turned away from Zero.
" Yes, you do…" Zero sighed. " I'm sorry for getting you to get Jessica's body…but you're the only one I'd trust with something this important." Baku glanced at Zero.
" WHY in hell's name do you need a dead corpse?!" Zero swallowed and looked down. " …You wouldn't understand …"
" I hate you now since you don't understand me, so it won't make much of a difference now would it?" Zero stared at Baku unbelievingly.
" You…you hate me?" Baku crossed his arms violently. " Yes, I do!" Zero sadly looked down, feeling his heart break.
The two of them stood there in silence for a few minutes. The only creatures making any sound were the occasional hoot of an owl, and the chirping of crickets.
" I guess…this whole thing was in vain then…" Zero said quietly. " I…I may not be able to tell you what it is that I'm doing…but…" He looked up. " …I did it because I thought you loved me as much as I loved you…"
Baku blinked. " I uh…" He shook his head, then turned around to see Zero starting to walk away miserably. He hung his head for a moment. Should he call after Zero? He did do all this to see him again…and yet, he was the one behind it all! He felt happy, sad, and angry with Zero at the same time. For a second, Baku thought he should name this feeling hadry. ( A/N: lol, get it? ..Okay, bad joke -.-)
" Zero, stop!!" Baku called. Zero stopped in his tracks, but didn't turn around. " You bastard, you can't just leave me again after what I've had to put up with!"
Zero slowly turned to look at Baku but didn't say anything verbally, the look in his eyes told the samurai that he was as hurt about this as he was, and was very sorry.
" Zero…I'm …er…" Baku looked down and grumbled something that Zero couldn't hear.
" What?"
" I said…." Baku grumbled again, not changing the volume of what he said. Zero walked slowly over to Bakunetsumaru. " I can't hear you, baka," he purred.
" I'm…….sorry." Baku finally said loud enough for Zero to hear. " I'm sorry for snapping at you…." He then quickly added while pointing at Zero, " But this is still your fault!"
Zero smiled, relieved that Baku wasn't really mad at him anymore." I know…" Baku took a deep, shaky breath, then ran up to Zero and glomped him.
" OOFF!" Zero fell on his back. He looked down to see Baku clinging to him, sobbing.
" You bastard…don't ever leave me again…!" Baku cried. Zero closed his eyes, and held Baku as they lied there.
" Don't worry…I'll never leave you again…" Zero whispered comfortingly. " I promise…"
***
Drain watched from a distance as Zero and Baku embraced. " Hmm…it appears master Zero has grown soft since he left Lacroa…" He then watched as Zero rolled over so that he was on top of Baku, and started tickling the samurai. (A/N: Aww, cute!)
" …This is the commander of the Legion of Knights?" Drain shook his head. " You have changed since acquiring the name of the Winged Knight…"
