That evening, Tails sat on the couch as he enjoyed his dinner. Y'know, I remember the last time I had halal food, it was just before Cream and I had our first time in my bed. thought the fox. Damn... no matter how hard I try to let the fact that Cream's going to be married and I can't see it go, something I do reminds me of her. He gave a sigh, Love's a real bitch isn't it? Then it slapped him... Wait a minute, did I just..... Tails has once again stopped himself. Sure the first few times he just shrugged off, but after a quick thought, he shrugged this one off again. "I'll just call it a night, the events of this month are stressing me to the point of infatuation. Maybe I'm just horny...."

Tails killed the tube and hit the hay early. The next day, Tails went to the Station Square Lanes. When he got there, He decided to hit the frames instead of the arcade. This should help me get a good piece of mind. he thought.

"Tails, over here!" The fox looked over and saw Amy waving to him.

"Hey, what's up?" the fox asked.

"Tikal and I were about to start ten frames, wanna join us?"

"Are you sure?"

"Well, Rouge was supposed to be here, but she had to cancel, so we're left without a third person."

"Okay, I'll play with you girls."

"Regular or Special?"

"It's on you."

"Let's do regular this time." Tikal said.

"Fine, regular it is." said Amy.

"Okay, well I'll go last." said Tails.

"You don't have to." said Tikal.

"I want to."

"Suit yourself," said Amy, "but I got first dibs."

So Amy, Tikal and Tails began their play of bowling. "Okay, here we go." said Amy and she took her first throw. {so no one goes mad, each frame is played out fairly} The pink hedgehog knocks eight pins on the first throw, picks up the spare.

Tikal steps up to the lane, "Well, it's time to show Amy that I can beat her at the lanes." said the echidna. Her first throw got everything but the ten pin, but she picks up the spare on the second.

"Well, looks like it's my turn." said Tails as he started his opening frame. The fox hit seven pins on the first throw, and picks up the spare on the following one. "For a minute there, I though I didn't make it."

"You'll do fine, even if it's your first time bowling, Tails." said Amy. Her first throw landed six pins and the second throw picks up the spare.

I sure hope it's not like this all night. thought Tikal as she stepped up to her second frame. Her first throw landed seven pins, and shehit only one pin on the second. "Damn!"

"Too bad, Tikal." said Amy.

Tails steps up to his frame, "Hopefully I can knock down more pins this throw." he said and took his throw, landing seven pins. His second throw lands him the kingpin, giving Amy the lead.

The pink hedgehog takes her first throw, landing six pins. On the second, Amy leaves only the kingpin. Tikal took her throw, landing seven pins and leaving the kingpin on the second. Tails first throw landed seven pins and the second throw missed, he was now behind. Amy's next throw was a strike, her lead extended. Tikal hit six pins on the first shot, but she picked up the spare. Tails was looking at a split, but it turned into eight pins. With a sigh of relief and a calmer second throw, the fox lands his spare. Amy struck six pins and hits only two pins afterwards. Tikal's first throw mad Amy and Tails cringe, as it landed a 4-6-10 split. I gotta see her spare this one. thought Amy.

A strike can now put you back in the game, Tails. he thought to himself.

"Well, here goes nothing." said Tikal and she threw her second ball, gutterball!

Showtime, Miles. Gold told the fox and Tails took his first throw, which landed him the left half of the pins. His second throw got him the spare, he was now behind Amy.

The second half of the frames began as Amy took her first shot. It doesn't matter now, just bowl good and you've got this won. she thought and rolled all but the 1, 2 and seven pins. No matter, she picked up her spare anyway and Tikal took her roll. This time around, it landed her a 4-6-7 split. That's a nice mirror. thought Amy.

"This shit isn't happening." said Tikal. She took her throw and leaves the 6 pin.

I'm glad I'm not doing that bad. Thought Tails, then took his throw, landing seven pins. His second throw gave him the spare and he sat down contently.

"Now for the beer frame." said Amy. Her first throw landed the 4-6-7-10 split.

"Hey Amy, you're not making a spare this time." Tikal said.

Damn, those splits are a real bitch. thought Tails.

Just lemme get three pines and I'll be happy. Thought Amy, then she took her second throw, which turned into....

"Gutterball!' Tikal yelled. The salmon echidna took her first shot landing six pins. She wiped her brow andpicked up the spare.

"Just lemme have a strike this time." Tails whispered to himself, but he knocked the left half of the pins. "Easy spare, no prob." to bad he left two pins.

"That's why you don't count your pins before they're knocked." said Amy, then she took her first throw, ending in everything but the 10 pin. The spare was picked up in the next throw.

Tikal's next throw landed her nine pins, but missed the last pin. Tails took to the frame, hitting all but the nine. His next throw picked up the spare. Amy's next throw landed her six pins, and left the kingpin standing afterward. "Oh well, One final frame left." she said.

Tikal's first throw landed her nine pins and shepicks up her spare. "That's better." she said.

"Well, it's all on me now." said Tails. The fox's first throw landed eight pins, and he missed the las two. "Everybody chokes."

"Well, last chance at a turkey." said Amy. Her first throw landed six pins, her second throw ended her game after hitting three pins giving her a scorew of 123. "That's about the average for me."

Tikal's first throw was a strike, second throw doubled and the final throw landed everything but the kingpin, giving her 144 points. "Despite the hell I went through, I'm still the winner." she said.

"My turn." said Tails. His first throw left the seven pin, his second throw got the spare and his final throw left him with the nine, and 132 points. "Not bad for the first time."

"Those two strikes were the only thing that saved your score." said Amy.

"Don't get mad because I got closer to the turkey than you did." said Tikal.

"No matter, I'll just leave, I've better to do than argue over ten frames of bowling."

"Okay, see ya."

"Bye Amy." said Tails.

With that, Amy turned in her shoes and left the alley. Tikal turned to Tails, "Wanna go play some pool?" she asked.

"Well...." Tails trailed off.

"My treat."

"....Okay, you win, let's go."

With that, Tails and Tikal went to the billiard hall. When they got there, Tails got a table and Tikal got the balls. "So, what do you wanna do?" asked Tails.

"We'll play 9-ball, best of seven." answered Tikal. "Don't lose, or you're all mine tonight."

"Um..."

"But if you win, I'll do whatever you like for tonight and tomorrow afternoon."

"Well...."

"Come on Tails, live a little."

"Okay, it's a bet."

Tails and Tikal shook, "Okay, you break."

"Okay."

On his break, Tails sunk in the five and began his turn on the table. His shot at the one missed and Tikal took her shot. Her bank off the wall missed and it was the fox's turn again. He hits the one, sinking it in the pocket on the other sde of the table. He banked for the deuce and got robbed of it. Tikal's shot only set Tails up for the easy deuce, which he pockets in the side. His miss of the three gave Tikal an easy side for the triple, which sinks, followed by the four, the six and the seven. Tails ricochets hard off the eight to hit the nine, missing his chance at the game, but setting Tikal for the easy cornering of the black ball. She it the black ball and bakns long to end the game. Tails rack the balls and Tikal breaks them up. Tails' attempt to pocket the one on the side failed. Tikal rocochets off the one hard to hit the nine, but it only splits all the balls further. Tails's bank at the one misses and sets Tikal up for the easy side for the one, which is missed. The fox misses again and the echidna has another chance at the one. It easily goes into the side, but the two doesn't follow for her as it linse up next to the nine. A hard shot could sink the nine in. Tails thought. and it comboed into the side pocket.

Tikal racked the third game and Tails broke it. The fox almost won that game, but he set the last shot up for Tikal. He simply racked the next game, Tikal hit a breakace, making the jaw on the fox's chin drop. "One more win and you belong to me tonight." said the echidna as she racked the balls.

"Nice shot." said Tails and he too, picked up the breakace.

"Ditto."

Tails racked up for game six and Tikal broke the balls up. No breakace this time for Tikal and Tails began to run the floor. He ricocheted hard off the one to hit the six and took his second foul of the night, the first happened on the third game. Tikal took her free drop, and comboed the four in, but missed her bank at the one. I gotta win this game. thought Tails as he shot the one hard, his shot comboed the eight. The next shot comboed the deuce, but his bank missed his chance of pocketing the one in the corner.

Let's ricochet off the nine and try to win it. thought Tikal and it worked, to bad she fouled.

That was too close. Tails's drop was nicely placed as the nine was by the one. The fox's shot comboed the nine in the very side that Tikal had fouled. "Time to end this game."

"The balls are racked, break them up."

Tails did just that, sinking the deuce, but the seven just stopped shy of the pocket. Tails' bank attempt to combo the seven failed. Tikal ricocheted off the one to hit the nine, and comboed the eight in the corner. She ricocheted off the one again to cannon the seven and combo the four. She banked hard off the one to just miss the nine, which set the fox up for an easy shot at the one. Tails takes the game off Tikal's shot and he tosses the cue stick to the rack. "Well, a deal's a deal, what do you want to do tonight?" asked Tikal.

"Well, it's not night time yet, so I'll see you later." said Tails and he left the billiards.

Tikal tailed him, "Hey, don't thorw me away like trash, what am I, spoiled milk?"

"No, it's just that..."

"It's just what?"

"You said tonight and the morrow's afternoon. It's not evening yet, so you have the rest of the day to yourself."

"Don't get technical with me."

"Fine, pay for the games of billiards and I'll wait for you right here."

"You damn well better."

"Hey watch your mouth, you're mine, not the other way around."

Applause came from the hall as Tikal walked back inside, paid for the pool time and left with Tails. The duo headed down the street side by side, "Well, what are we gonna do?" asked Tikal.

"I want you to have dinner with me." answered Tails.

"Sure, I'm yours for the night, remember?"

"That's right..."

Tikal and Tails walked into the workshop, their night was a good one. You know, even though I can't have Cream, Tikal wouldn't be so bad to be with. Tails thought.

Tails is a real cutie, maybe it wouldn't be so bad to date. thought Tikal. I should go out with him more often...

"So how did you like the movie?" asked Tails.

"I, Robot wasn't so bad," Tikal answered, "but the robot literally drew the ending of the movie. I liked it, though."

"And dinner?"

"New... I never had moroccan cuisine..."

"I'm glad you had a good time."

"Me too... So, where do I shower?"

"Oh, right, lemme get you a towel."

Like a good host, Tails showed Tikal to the shower and she set the water. Sure it was next to Tails' bedroom, but Tikal didn't mind at all... it beat showering under the waterfall, plus she didn't wanna be rude to such hospitality. "I'll be out afterwhile, so don't wait up." said the echidna.

"Okay." said Tails.

"If you're thirsty, try some of the drink I made in your pitcher."

"Okay."

As the echidna took her shower, Tails decided to have a drink. He took a glass and poured some of the juice from the pitcher and slugged it down. Wow, this is good. he thought and poured another glass. The fox kept slugging glasses until he poured one last glass, the pitcher was empty. Wow, I killed the whole thing by myself.

Tikal walked out of the bathroom, "So Tails, what's on--" then she noticed the empty pitcher. "Tell me you didn't just drink all of that..."

"No, this is the last glass."

Oh boy.... "You're gonna be up for a while."

"Lots of sugar, I take it?"

"Not what I meant. You're gonna be 'up' for a while."

What the..."

Tails looked at his lap to see he had a straight erection.
