A New Day (VI)

Sonic woke up on his hospital bed, Sally was right next to him.

"I'm glad you told me, Sally." Sonic said with a tear forming in his eye. "You're so beautiful..."

Sonic was about to fall back asleep when Tails and Knuckles came running into the room, nearly causing Sally to fall off the bed.

"Sonic! You're okay!" Tails cried in happiness.

"Of course I am! I'm the Blue Wonder! Sonic the Hedgehog! It takes a lot more then some dumb robot to take Sonic down!" Sonic said with s bit of reluctence.

"Well, Eggman's got that robot back in working order, we need to destroy it once and for all!" Knuckles exclaimed.

"I need to stay with Sally...She...She told me her feelings."

"So, you two are lovers now?!" Knuckles said, quite surprised.

"Yes."

"Sonic's a stud!" Tails said, laughing his ass off.

"Seriously! I almost didn't get to tell Sally what I felt...I won't let her be taken away from me..."

"Go ahead, Sonic." Said a joyful Sally who just woke up.

"Are...Are you sure, Sally? Won't you be worried?"

"We now know that we love each other...With our love known, we will ALWAYS stand tall, no matter what comes our way. You go ahead, and teach that Eggman a lesson!"

"Alright! I'm gone! Take care!" Sonic shouted as he dashed out of the hospital.

"Damnet, will he ever stop gaining speed?!" Tails said angerly.

"No way! He's Sonic! He'll ALWAYS be fast!" Knuckles said with triumph.

"I just hope he can defeat that thing..."

<Meanwhile>

"What?! He's out already?!"

"Well, Dr. Eggman...It...Seems as though Sonic is coming after the robot..."

"Fuck! This isn't good! That robot is in near perfect condition! Its not ready to battle, though!"

Eggman slammed his fist into the table, but noticed something was missing from the table...The table itself.

"What the-?!"

Before Eggman could finish that sentence, his chair disappeared from undr him, causing all his heavy weight to fall to the ground.

"What?! Who's doing this?!" Eggman roared.

"Hiya, Eggy!" replied a voice that could only belong to Sonic.

"Sonic!!!"

"Next time you mess with me, make sure you bring something a little more challenging! This thing didn't put up any fight whatsoever!" Sonic said, mocking Eggman's voice with his next sentence. "I upgraded this robot, he's coming after Eggman!"

"Fool! I built him! He would never attack his master!"

"Look again, Eggy!"

Eggman turned around, only to be met with a kick to the gut. As Eggman held his gut in pain, the robot blew up in front of Eggman, causing the whole factory to collapse...Of course, Sonic got out just in the nick of time before the edifice fell on him.

"Time to split!" Shouted the blue hedgehog as he ran back to be with Sally.

<Back at the hospital>

"So, you rewired it so it would attack Eggman?"

"Yeah, it was funny! You should have seen his face!"

"Sonic!" Sally cried with glee from seeing her blue blur in front of her.

Sally gave Sonic a passionate kiss on the lips...And WHAT a kiss it was! Sonic practically melted from her touch.

Sally parted her lips, giving the hedgehog a grin, causing him to blush a deep crimson red.

"I'm glad you're here, Sonic...Because now...We'll be toghter...FOREVER...
